Good Card!
Pros: This card is super fast, haven't had any problems at all. Now all i seem to have is internet lag... I also upgraded from Nvidia 7950gt overclocked, and i had 2 at SLI, there's a huge difference. I LOVE THIS CARD. I have had this card since for a little over 1 month.
Cons: None yet that i have noticed
Other Thoughts: System Specs
Asus P5N-D motherboard 8 gigs of ddr2 800mhz 1TB hard drive 600 watz power supply q6600 intel quad core

stick with MOBO'S
Pros: NONE!
Cons: Not a ggod unit. Gigabyte sells the best MOBO's in the world. They cannot make a video card. It is disfunctional.
Other Thoughts: Buy Gigabyte for cases and MOBO's, leave the video cards for XFX and Nvida.

I'm very very happy with it!
Pros: I was worried, because of the age for the 260's that this card would be lack-lustre. I was very wrong! It's fast, not any noisier than my old 8800 GTS.
I thought I was only getting a free mouse, but I guess Newegg's website only has room to display 1 promotional item, because when I opened the box I found a full copy of Far Cry 2 inside on DVD as well! Thanks Gigabyte!
Far Cry 2 looks and plays amazingly of very high detail (on my dual core Intel 2.13GHz).
I'm very very happy with it. Added at least 1+ years to the life of my PC.
Cons: Size (though I think this is an issue of all 260's). I've got a ridiculously huge full tower case and to install it I had to remove my hard drive enclosure and mount the hard drive in the CD bay. It was about an inch longer than my 8800 GTS.
Make sure nothing that can't be moved is inline with your graphics card PCI slot!
Other Thoughts: Power. My GTS 8800 took one (e-sata?) power plug, but this baby takes 2. It comes with 2 double adapters, to make (e-sata?) power plugs from the old chunky hard drive 4-hole power supplies. So if you've got an e-sata power plug already you'll need 2 spare 4-hole plugs.

super cool
Pros: searched around the net for a month, this was the best bang for the buck.
Cons: none yet!
Other Thoughts: i have purchased many gigabyte mobo over the years, so i figured i'd venture out. glad i did! it is big, have a big case. it does get warm, have a big ventilated case - it does a great job. l4d, & cod4 are just awesome with this card! nVidia baby!

King of the Budget Line
Pros: Nvidia Chipset. ATI needs to take a lesson and have one download update the drivers for all it's products. With a household with 4 gaming computers, there is a lot to be said for being able to download one file to update all drivers. Installation was braindead easy. Overclocking utility easy and intuitive. Runs fast.
Cons: Overclocking utility shows a voltage slider that isn't part of the utility, leaving one to wonder what's going on.
Other Thoughts: As of May 09, I reasearched heavily and for sub $200 I don't think you can do better than this.

Gigabyte, the great value and performance brand(my 2nd review)
Pros: still a great card like my previous review
Cons: now the bad. ok i can see the that the card comes with a rebate but as a consumer, i shouldn't have to jump thru hoops to get it. it was the only reason i got this card for the discount. heres the deal when i ordered this from new egg it had the form and all and i did everything i was suppose to but still it form was denied so that means im outta the 20 bucks. all the requirements that was posted on the rebate site i followed not my fault the packaging serials dont match the serials the product. its not like i can make up a number and send it in i cut what was on the book and did my part but as u can see i still got denied. like peter griffen said in the family guy, "what grinds my gears" lol, i hate faults advertisment. im sure im not the only one burned my this scam. newegg should monitor who they do business with better, then again its not neweggs fault, i blame the manufacturer.

this is a bang for the buck big bang !!
Pros: i love this card it took on preety much every thing i threw at it but it did run slow on FSX but thats understandable its a hard as game !! but im over clocking it right now using riva and the tunner it came with GPU-715 Shader-1510.00 memory at - 1055.00 staying near a 47-40Celcius with the fan speed up to 70%
Cons: its just a massive card i might need to buy a new case for this baby i had to cut into my existing cage just to fit it in there but its all good other than that nothing wrong with this baby oh remember !! when u overclock this baby turn the fan up to !!! if u go past 700 keep ur fan near or at 60-70 other vise ur going to over heat and avoid playing in a hot room turn a fan on open a window cuz i live in cali and i played on a really hot day and my card got to hot so i had to stop playing
Other Thoughts: i should buy two of these !!! if u want u can send me one !! for freee

Gigabyte, the great value and performance brand
Pros: cheap hoping the rebate comes thru free game, far cry2 is more fun on xbox and xbox live tho
Cons: big huge card not really overclocked but once u go on manufacturerer site there is 2 bios update that will overclock it a lil. its better to just use evga precision tool to overclock or riva, plus in those program u can speed up the stock fan speed to 75 which will keep card cool at a constant at idle @ 40C and mid 50s on full load.
Other Thoughts: i manually overclocked card AS 675/1224/1450. and set fan speed to 75. runs lots smoother and faster this way with evga precision tool. so with bios update on site ill give the card 5 eggs no need to take away and cuz it is afterall a great card.

Pretty Good
Pros: It's a whole lotta video card. Another copy of Far Cry 2? Cheap price with rebate....assuming I get the rebate. Rock solid so far. 2 of these are around 200 bucks cheaper than the 295 gtx. Really a no brainer for someone with a sli motherboard.
Cons: None that I can think of. Only comes with a 3 year warranty. Would b nice if it was lifetime or double warranty. I hate rebates. Far Cry 2? Not sure if it's 55nm but it really doesn't matter to me.
Other Thoughts: Paired it with a ZotacAmp!2 260 216 (that also came with Far Cry 2)I bought a while back. Both cards show to be clocked at 648 Mhz with me having to to do nothing so that's pretty cool since this card comes oc'd at 630 Mhz. For the price I am very impressed. 2 260's in sli is the sweet spot for an affordable high end system right now as far as I'm concerned. Glad I bought it. Just think...2 copies of Far Cry 2 if u buy 2 of these! Everyone needs 2 copies of Far Cry 2....right?
