Nice Card
Pros: Got a pair of these cards so I could take a pair of PCs we have in the office and make them quad monitor capable. Even though the card built on to the MB was a Radeon 4200 it worked together with the built-on graphics adapters well.
Cons: Nothing really, did what I needed it to do.
Other Thoughts: If you have to put two video cards in a machine, I have always had trouble with ATIs playing nice with one another. Nvidia cards on the other hand usually if not always work in multi montor rigs.

Dont waste your money
Pros: Cheap Price. Fast shipping from Newegg as always. Newegg Customer Service has been excellent.
Cons: Died after 2 days. Having to RMA.
Other Thoughts: Spend a little extra and get a better card. Bought this to hold me over until my tax refund arrived and I could get a high end card. Needless to say it did not satisfy my needs.

Died after 2 months
Pros: descent when it's working.
Cons: card BSOD my windows 7 PC, first time ever have i seen this on windows 7. this died after 2 months of average use. No gaming or intense graphics.
Other Thoughts: some others have suggested it, but spend a little more a getting a card that is much more stable for $20 more.

Great for non-gmaing applications
Pros: Used this card in two office computers to allow dual monitor setup (card has both digital and analog hookups). Works great for extending the desktop to multiple monitors for programs such as word, outlook, excel and online database access through whatever browser you prefer to use. Fits in all desktops (both low profile and normal sized), you just have to change out the metal plate if you have a low profile computer (changing the plate requires you to remove a couple screws, it's very easy).
Cons: none.
Other Thoughts: This is NOT a gaming graphics card. If you want a gaming card this is absolutely the wrong product (unless you only want to play games from 5ish years ago or by games you mean minesweeper, solitaire and the like).

Okay
Pros: Cheap Price and not DOA.
Cons: Was not impress with performance, spend a few more dollars and get something better for today's requirements.
Other Thoughts: I bought this for a budget built but had to RMA it and paid a little more to get an ATI HD 4670 instead. Trust me, that extra $20 is well worth the upgrade.
FYI: Windows 7 rates video performance at 6.8.

S-Video output is bad
Pros: Reasonable price. Good DVI and VGA output to TV. The DVI with a HDMI cable can produce a true 1920x1080.
Cons: Bad S-VIDEO output on TV screen. The letters show "rainbow" colors. For example, "NEWEGG.COM". The "N" &"E" are yellow, "W" & "E" are red, The 2 "G"s are purple, and so for. I tried the latest driver from Nvidia website, but the problem could be resolved. The Nvidia software is not very stable. It blacked out the TV screen when during used (I could not remember the specific option/steps).
Other Thoughts: May be I am just out of luck with the S-Video port due to a defect. However, I purchased this card is because of I need the S-Video port.

Works how I needed
Pros: Works exactly how I needed it to. I bought it as a replacement card for a customer's computer that did not have on board graphics (previous card had blown capacitors). I didn't need anything fancy or powerful, just enough to bring life to the monitor as the customers machine is only used for processing and internet browsing.
Cons: None for my uses.
Other Thoughts: Since I put it in someone elses' machine, I didn't get to fully test the card out. It is obvious from the specifications that this card will not handle the newest games as nicely as more powerful (and bigger) cards. At the price ($29.99) it was a shoe in to be picked considering it had good reviews.

Good Card--not Great
Pros: Easy to install, Win 7 64-bit worked well; system recognized it with no problem. Pretty quiet and seemed to run cool.
Cons: The onboard video system actually looked better than the video card. While Window's system rating went up slightly, the actual performance was not that great.
Other Thoughts: While this card was ok, I returned it eventually. After I received the card, I noticed that it requires a 350 watt power supply min. All I had was a 275 watt power supply. It was not worth upgrading the power supply.

Great for price
Pros: Easy install, and easy software install. No problems.
Cons: Does not install software on Windows 7 unless you go to XP mode.
Other Thoughts: I am happy with this purchase and I recommend it to anyone who needs a video card real quick.

working title
Pros: It's quite. Of course that could be my hearing. Used to replace the onboard Nvidia 6100GS. Naturally it has blown my previous graphics experience away. Currently it's biggest job is Blender 3D, as a fill in (until I receive my quadro) it works wonders. Feels like my computer has been popping poppers or the like. I recommend it for general use.
Cons: It's not a PNY Quadro FX 1800. (The one I really want)
Other Thoughts: Worked on openSUSE 11.2 "out of the box" with no need to install any additional drivers from Nvidia. Which is lucky considering I don't have an internet connection right now. Ok you got me. I have one right now, but not on my studio box.

Works exactly as expected - Great!
Pros: price, functionality, ease of installation
Cons: none, unless you are a gamer
Other Thoughts: My Gateway desktop computer has onboard nVidia graphics, which began to die. I was left wondering if I should consider upgrading, but decided if I could fix it cheaply enough I'd save the expense. I use my desktop for home office applications, web-surfing and watching an occasional netflix movie. This card has worked fantastically for that - even played a game or two to appease my 17 y.o. He tells me this wouldn't be a true gamer's card (that is the only reason I have given it less than a 5), but for my use - it is perfect. As long as I don't have any future issues with it I will be very happy. It was easy to install (had to restart the computer to get the included CD to install the drivers, but that was minor) and now my lcd monitor looks as good, or better than ever. The Newegg experience was top notch as usual. Thanks!

Good card for Linux
Pros: Inexpensive. Good price vs. performance. Works with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.4-- no issues. Red color matches my Foxconn mobo!
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: Windows 7 experience index is 4.8. No problems using with Windows 7 Aero Glass or RHEL5.4. Since the primary purpose of the card was for a Linux build, I wasn't concerned about high performance video.

solid for the price
Pros: pcie 2.0, cheap, doesn't get too hot
Cons: for my purposes none, see below.
Other Thoughts: I use this as a second video card in my PC to drive a 3rd display. My 280 GTX drives my main monitor and my TV, this drives a second monitor. I only use it to watch movies/browse the net, and it handles that fine. Its great to keep the loads off my my primary card so that I can use that for games.

Nice little performance bump
Pros: Makes a decent improvement in basic video performance. Definitely superior to onboard graphics
Cons: Doesn't max out any settings but then again it was extra cheap so if that's what you expect you will be disappointed.
Other Thoughts: Better than onboard, but no show stopper. Best of all CHEAP.

HDMI out
Pros: Runs great in my xbmc htpc running linux
Cons: none - perfect for what it is.
Other Thoughts: A review below says that this card can only do svideo. That is flat out wrong. Get a dvi to hdmi cable (from newegg!) for about $10 and you have clean crisp 1080p if you want.

Pros: Newegg is great about returns
Cons: The card i received did not work. Testing in multiple compatible motherboards yielded the same result: strange scrambled-looking output. I will steer clear from this manufacturer for a bit.
Other Thoughts: Might have been just the card I got, but regardless, I'm going to go with something else.

good card
Pros: graphics do the job, definitely not the best graphics card out there but a great bang for the buck.
Cons: It only supports composite (via the s-video). This is clearly listed on the manf. website but not on Newegg. if you are looking for something that can connect into Component (YPbPr is standard for most TVs) or HDMI look elsewhere.
Other Thoughts: This card does do very well and can run most computer games on medium settings. Windows 7's system specs give it a 4.5 our of 7.9.

What can I say?
Pros: It's a video card. It works.
Cons: It won't get used to its full potential in the office it was installed in. Most MSI video cards I have owned the fan has failed on the heat sink....Hopefully they have improved.
Other Thoughts: Can't go wrong with NVidia!

Pros: Quiet card, easy install on Windows 7 64. Gives beautiful output in HD
Cons: Not the best card for gaming. Not much of a rating boost in Windows 7 or Vista
Other Thoughts: Perfect for what I need it to do- hook up to my LCD and watch HD.

Works pretty good
Pros: Cheap and quiet. Only requires the board slot and no additional power connectors. I had no issues with Drivers, even with Windows 7 (32-bit)
Cons: Only bummer is this card gives a 3.8 out of 7 in the Windows Experience score for Windows 7.
I'm not a gamer and I haven't had any issues with the lower score. But if you are a gamer, this one may not be for you.

Heat Sink is Massive
Pros: Never got it to fit.
Cons: The heatsink on this thing is not what is shown in the picture. I bought a couple of these to go into some Dell OptiPlex 755s and they wouldn't fit because of the huge heatsink. These weren't small form factor or desktop models, either. These were mini tower cases.
Other Thoughts: Make sure you have room to fit this thing.

My computer is very happy
Pros: This cheap little video card made a world of difference for my PC. I run Ubuntu Linux for an OS, and adding this card to the system allowed me to turn on ALL of the incredible compiz graphical features. I can spin the transparent cube flawlessly, burn my windows up in flames, turn on the rain and windshield wipers, all of it beautifully smooth and all at the same time too!
Cons: Only sad thing about it is I only have a 19" monitor to display all these beautiful graphics. I need at least 60" of screen to properly cause jaws to drop to the floor.
Other Thoughts: 256mb on-board VRAM, and 256mb shared system RAM gives this card a total of 512mb of 64-bit video memory goodness. Also comes with a handy little lo-profile bracket. I will order more of these in the future, very satisfied with the product.

problem with s video out
Pros: price i guess. VGA connection works to my knowlege, don't have others to try
Cons: spent a few days messing with the s-video out, trying to get it to send signal to my (yellow) RCA video connection. ended up swapping this card for an older ATI x1800. i don't know if this is a nvidia problem, but the older ATI card works.
Other Thoughts: FMMV. there were some sites that had great long procedures to try, and other very simple (jumping 2 of the connections to trick the card into sensing a signal) but none of which i could get to work.

Excellent low priced video card
Pros: Just plugged it in and installed the drivers and it worked without a hitch. Free shipping. Great price. Quiet and runs cool.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: I purchased this as a replacement video card after mine was fried by a failing power supply :-(. If you're not a gamer and don't need high frame rates or other features of a more expensive card, this video card is an excellent value, particularly while the free shipping offer lasts.

Pretty nice
Pros: Ubuntu picked it right up and installed the proprietary driver for it. Full selection of resolutions, and it works nice!
Cons: Can't think of any real cons yet.
Other Thoughts: I want to try the non-proprietary driver to see how that works, but I haven't done so yet.

Perfect For Mid Range Graphics Needs
Pros: Another MSI Card that I have purchased. I am so far very pleased with the results. The first were older versions and bought this due to brand name recognition - in part.
Installed in the following system "and on the stock system power supply". Over all fairly quiet and that is saying a lot for my sound booth worthy hearing.
Dell Mid Tower Optiplex GX620 Pentium D Dual Core 3GHZ DVD/CDRW 1GB RAM 80GB SATA HD Now with this "MSI Geforce 8400 256mbs"
Cons: Smallish Hard Drive is only con in this scenario.
Other Thoughts: Tested and can play Battlefield 2 at full specs on all settings. This was using a 17 inch LCD. Need a reasonably priced card? Don't look anywhere else. Especially for performance, quietness, and the price.

Great basic card
Pros: Cheap. Basic. Works great for video playback and older/simple games - performs around 30fps for WoW at 800x600.
Installation is a breeze - no complications.
Cons: Can't play Crysis at max resolution.... but this card costs less than most games.
Other Thoughts: Purchased this for a basic build rather than opting for an integrated graphics chip. Works great for the price.
Easily swapped out for an upgrade in the future, should the need arise.

Works great in Ubuntu
Pros: Works great in an old IBM Thinkcentre with a P4 3Ghz CPU running Ubuntu 9.04. Ubuntu recognized it immediately and I was able to get it running dual LCD monitors with no problems. I have a 22" Hanns-G LCD on the DVI port and an old ViewSonic 15" LCD on the VGA port.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: Thanks nVidia for being such a great Linux supporter!

linux friendly - ubuntu loves it
Pros: had a hard time finding a card that would work on my ubuntu 64bit system - this one went in without any effort... that's my kind of install :)
Cons: it worked so well i did not get to tinker with it
Other Thoughts: stay away from your xorg.conf file - you do not need to touch it... install - use display to set the monitor and spanning...

Pros: It works-it does what it is supposed to do. If you are looking for a high res/ high-frame rate gaming card, look elsewhere. But for business/e-mail/excell etc, it's fine. I'm using it on a 23" monitor, and it works great
Cons: none

3.7 Graphics: Desktop Performance for Windows Aero
Pros: The unit has hdcp, and can support the max res of the new monitor I bought.
Cons: This card only gets a 3.7 from the Windows experience index for Windows 7, whereas my onboard graphics got a 3.0.
Other Thoughts: The small marginal gain from this card was not worth the money. I recommend spending a little more for a better card.

Low Price, High Performance
Pros: Great price for a great card. Dual-monitor output works very well. Very low profile and power consumption compared to other cards. Unexpectedly good performance for FPS, great performance for most MMO's.
I bought 6 of these cards and every last one of them is running splendidly. 5 of them are used in an office setting for dual monitor displays and they can run photo manipulation and programming development software with perfect ease.
The last card is used in my home PC for gaming. I can play Team Fortress 2 on almost max settings (No Anti-Aliasing), and the same thing can be said for Left4Dead. It runs very well and makes little to no noise in the cabinet.
Cons: None whatsoever, except that you might want to update the NVidia drivers as soon as you install the card.
Other Thoughts: With the low price tag on this card, I hadn't expected a whole lot. If I could play TF2 on lowest settings with minimal lag, I would have been happy. However, it has far exceeded my expectations. I've been able to run several games on High settings. This card has been one of the best purchases I've made all year. I'm planning on buying another soon for my smaller desktop so that it can edit videos.

Great for General use
Pros: This is a good card to get more performance then your typical on-board card. I can run cod4 with it on medium graphics with low lag. You get what you pay for.
Cons: Not for extreme gaming. I've had for a month and no issues.

It does what its supposed to do
Pros: It works. I needed dual screens for my home office and my garbage E machines T3410 could not do it. It does now.
Pleasantly surprised by the upgrade in screen quality. For the average user doing actual work (crazy, I know) on their PC, this is a fine card for the $$$.
Cons: Installs upside down in my machine. Need to download 185.85 driver update. NO SPDIF on my motherboard (K8MC51G), so no full HDMI integration....:-(
It is making WMP11 do weird things for some reason. Still trying to figure that out.
Other Thoughts: Says minimum 350 watts. My machine is rated 300max. I don't do any gaming and it works fine.

runs cool
Pros: Runs cool, very quiet, just fine for the new internet computer I just built, trying for a real quiet machine that doesn't need to run anything fancy, biggest demand will be flash on the net (which just bogs my 6 year old previous model).
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: For home machines not running high demand games, this card is a bargain.

Very Disappointed
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Drivers Drivers Drivers Drivers already 3 versions out of date and causes bad install. Drivers actually caused other programs not to run correctly. One version of the later drivers modified system files and did not restore them to original form when uninstalled, which caused problems S-Video never did work. My wife's old ATI s-video still works perfectly with the same TV
Other Thoughts: I only wanted the thing for stand alone video and S-Video. I am not a gamer and just want to watch videos on the TV. I have a high end system running XP and it did a number on my system.
I ultimately uninstalled the card and drivers and will use the on board video until I get an ATI card. Since I uninstalled everything, my system is once again running perfect.

decent
Pros: Its small, so it fits in my brothers micro case for lan parties. He has a small monitor too, so it plays games well on a 15" screen. Ez to install, and nvidia has nice drivers.
Cons: not much horsepower, but you get what you pay for.

Eggcellent
Pros: The videocard (HD2600XT) went bad on our entertainment PC and needed a cheap replacement and this fit that need perfectly.
+No installation issues, popped in, installed, done. +No issues with running 1920x1080res. +Under $30
If you just need a replacement and your PC doesn't have integrated (or you can't bring yourself to use it) this is the way to go.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: Newegg shipped this incredibly fast. Even though the standard UPS 3 day was selected it got here in under 48 hours! Bonus points for newegg.

Great for what I needed
Pros: Cheap (in a good way). I can run any mid-range game fine. Supports my 22in 1680x1050 fine.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: I blew an 7600GT during a power surge. I didn't have onboard video so I bought the cheapest (yet best rated) PCI Express 2.0 card I could fine. I am very satisfied the results... I don't do that much high-end gaming anymore so this is perfect for my needs. Not a gamer graphic card, but very very good performance for light usage and the occassional game.

Pros: Very low cost for a video card. All it is used for is the basic home office computer (Documents, Internet, etc.) so it won't be taking on the high load that you with a gaming computer.
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: I don't care for on board video cards so I'd rather buy a motherboard that doesn't have it and buy a cheap video card to slap on.

Works well for me!
Pros: This is a cheap, basic graphics card that gets the job done. I previously had a XFX GEForce 7900GT card but it went kaput with the monitor flashing intermittently that made my desktop unusable.
Cons: Much weaker graphics/games performance than my old card but you get what you pay for.
Other Thoughts: The new graphics card has fixed the strange sounds coming out of this PC as well with the old graphics card.

MSI N8400GS
Pros: Good card while it lasted. Performed as expected and fan was fairly quite running. Picture quality was good and handled the load when editing movies.
Cons: Purchased card in December of 2008 and card died in July of 2009. I rarely used this computer and was very disapointed that it lasted such a short time before giving up the ghost.
Other Thoughts: Since this is the only card of this version I've owned I don't know if this is a common problem with this card.

Good Card!
Pros: Good, quiet card for use in an HTPC or for light gaming. Good value for the money.
Cons: Bumps my Windows experience rating down to a 3.4, but I wasn't expecting a high powered video card, so that's ok.
Other Thoughts: It's a great card for the HTPC I built, an Athlon 5200 based system (from parts lying around) with 3 gigs of RAM running Vista Ultimate x64. It runs Vista no problem at 1920x1080 resolution and so far has run every HD movie I've thrown at it beautifully, including a couple 1080p video files over 40 gigs! It's not a high end gaming card, but for an HTPC system, anything else is almost overkill.

Surprisingly good performance.
Pros: Small and fairly cool.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Cheap replacement for a faulty x1950XT in my wife's computer. This card does not run quite as well as the old one, but I was expecting a lot worse. Temps seem nominal, even in her somewhat poorly ventilated case. This would make a great addition if you needed 3 or 4 monitors connected to your machine and have a PCIe16X slot to spare.
One other reviewer stated that this came with a copper heatsink. Whatever this is, it is not copper. I believe it is aluminum that has been coated. It still runs at a decent temperature, just don't expect a copper cooler on this thing.
Newegg rocks. UPS rocks. The end.

Works well
Pros: Good price, easy install on parent's computer. Doubled the windows experience index for graphics.
Cons: not as good as the 9800 i bought, but what do you expect?
Other Thoughts: Fixed problem. On some HP computers, the 6150 LE onboard graphics nvdia chipset wouldn't let the computer wake up from sleep, and has been working much better since then. Normal use has been faster, considering i also bought some cheap, but still better RAM.

Good Basic Dual Vid
Pros: Easy install and setup.
Cons: None so far.

Works GREAT on P5QPRO and Ubuntu
Pros: Video card works wonderfully in Jaunty 9.04 with driver v1.80 installed using Envy on a Dell S2409W 1920x1080 resolution. I don't play games but Compiz Fusion works like butter. Not one fault yet in the 2 weeks or so that I've had it.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: Jaunty worked great even under the default driver v1.73. Upgraded to v1.80 and everything still works great. Xorg.conf file set to auto-detect screen resolution so when I upgraded from a 19W to a 24W monitor, xorg worked and I didn't even have to make any adjustments. Nvidia Server Settings detected my new monitor and adjusted itself to the new screen. Oh, the card is also VERY quiet!

Works GREAT on P5QPRO and Ubuntu
Pros: Functions as advertised. Set manually at 6-7-7 and 1066 in BIOS. Speed is noticeably faster than my older DDR2 800.
Cons: P5QPRO did not auto detect the true speed of the memory. Had to be set manually. Would default to 800.

Stable Card, Does What It's Suppose To
Pros: Great card for the money. I purchased it for another build over a year ago and it's still going strong.
Cons: I'm not sure about O/C, that's not something I get into.
Other Thoughts: My main use for the original build is for media playback. It works great for my movies and DVD's. Also works great for Blu-Ray. If your looking for a strong gaming card, I'd advise going with a faster and stronger card. Something in the 9000 series. But just regular footage in 1080i is smooth and pretty.

Cons: None yet

Works fine in Linux
Pros: I'm using this with Ubuntu 9.04 and everything is working fine. I have it set up with Twinview using the S-Video output with a TV to watch movies and stuff.
Cons: NVidia settings dialog reports this as having 512MB of RAM. Pretty sure that's wrong.
Other Thoughts: Adobe Flash Player for Linux seems to have a bug where if you have a similar setup it won't put the fullscreen view on the TV, it always puts it on the primary display. This isn't really related to the video card though, just a heads up for people who are considering this setup under Linux. They know about the bug and hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Good value
Pros: Good performance for the cost.
Cons: None at this price point.

Pros: I bought this to replace the on board video and let my system have the full memory output. I poped in the msi 8400gs PCIe video card and installed quickly, connected my vga cable and turned on my pc and it's running without a hitch. The software workes great, the live update is awesome.
Cons: None

Basic card
Pros: It was really cheap, and it lets me connect a monitor to my server.
Cons: Had some issues getting the Nvidia drivers to work under Ubuntu 8.10 x64 server. After reinstalling the drivers using Envy, the card is working.

Entry level perfection
Pros: Purchased this card for an entry level PC for my friends who do not play games or do anything graphically intensive. Worked great out of the box, drivers installed without a hitch and the card has yet to cause any issues after 3 weeks.
Cons: I'm sure this card is far below par in an entry level gaming machine, I knew that going in and so should you. No deduction in score though, just an FYI.

decent once you get past tweaking
Pros: Of course price, used with x3 athlon, more just a build for fun as back up to quad core
Cons: How many times did i install, 4 or 5 times, previous person mentioned about updating to sp2, that helps a lot, however the KEY was to FORCE it to look at OTHER tv in some of the setting a bit surprised i had to do that, have NEVER had this kind of hassle with one, but had to do more than a little research and reading, i think you get more than what you pay for but you have to open the hood and play with the fuel injection
Other Thoughts: Had to reset and go back to previous restore, not sure if that cost me back to sp1, but got back to sp2, MAYBE my fault on a load or two but took five times, got more than 4 bit finally, then next boot up reverted back to 4 bit "warhol" graphics, anyway the key i think is to FORCE it in setting to look for other tv??? , i requested an rma, so i hope next two weeks it is finally robust,, my opinion, a little more seasoned builder to play and tweak this, but thinking of ordering another for basic build for 12 year old nephew

Good for low end graphics card
Pros: Great card for next to nothing. Runs WoW fairly well on low-medium settings. Simple interface makes overclocking idiot-friendly. Decent size core clock with a good size memory for the money.
Cons: Its a tad hot even with fan maxxed, but that is with OC. A bit small 256mb and 64 bit for my needs.
Other Thoughts: I have been very happy with this MSI card for the time I've owned it, am upgrading to an ATI 4850 1gig to bolster gaming performance but overall a great card for games on lower settings.

Good Carf for the money
Pros: Cheap Fast it boosted my Counter Strike: Source framerate on the stress test from 60 to 90 FPS.
Cons: only 256 mb gddr gddr 2 no hdmi adapter included
Other Thoughts: Put in a new system as a placeholder for a higher end graphics card, never expected such a substantial difference in the speed of the computer, or improvement in the quality of gaming over the motherboard's integrated graphics.

Pros: Cheap price, good starting card
Cons: For having 256mb ram, you'd think it be better than an AGP ATI Radeon 9800 pro - but it isn't.
BE SURE TO RUN WINDOWS UPDATE ON A FRESH INSTALL BEFORE UPDATING DRIVERS! Your color will be in 4-bit if you do not.
Other Thoughts: This was my first experience with a PCI Express card. I built this as a basic starting computer for my parents. My own rig was built back in 2001 using top of the line parts, so I was a little unsure just how good of a PCI express card that I needed. I tried firing up some old games that I knew performed very well on my computer, but this card performed just under par. I'd say it's good for basic gaming, but nothing advanced.

Pros: It worked GREAT for a while- was running everything quite well. Powerful, kept up to speed... very nice card.
Cons: In the middle of half-life 2, it suddenly sprung into a huge amount of artifacting and other such errors. I thought medium was too much for it, so attempted to reboot. Nada- it was actually preventing me from displaying video after that. The card lasted all of a few weeks before keeling over.
Other Thoughts: It IS good... while it lasts...

Very satisfied
Pros: This is a great card! After I plugged it in, I fired it up to check out the fan, and couldn't believe how quiet it was. I could barely hear it with my ear only a few inches away. With the cover on, and the computer placed on the floor, I could not hear the fan at all.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Installation was a breeze - it couldn't have been easier. The drivers loaded without a hitch and things were running in no time at all.
This is the perfect card for my purposes. It does what it's supposed to, and works perfectly with my graphics programs(Photoshop, etc.) Price-to-performance can't be beat.
Highly recommended.

What else can I ask for ?
Pros: If you're looking for nice inexpensive VGA, this is the one. You don't need to compare pipelind and ramdack speed all that, I will guess it's most nice VGA you can buy with this price range. Easy to install, not to big to kill close pci slot (especialy when you use micro atx mobo) just perfect for budget machine even for mid range gamming.
Cons: Like some1 said, you gotta be kidding me
Other Thoughts: Just hope rebate go through well.

Satisfied
Pros: Inexpensive, 'pretty' according to girlfriend, works great with Linux
Cons: None yet.
Other Thoughts: I'm a VERY casual gamer, but this card runs great with Doom3 and SecondLife, so I'm happy.

Good for Linux
Pros: Cheap. Works great with Linux.
Cons: Fan is more noisy than I would like. Older card... forget it for current games.
Other Thoughts: Bought this because my MB had integrated ATI video which was fighting with Linux. This one worked fine for video but it was the noisiest component in my HTPC. I may try an alternate cooling method for it... maybe wait for better ATI support for Linux.

Halloween Baby!
Pros: Bought this to replace the on board graphics chip in a recently purchased Gigabyte GA-ES2L LGA 775 board. Arrived as scheduled from UPS and in perfect working condition. Installation was easy and it worked. Pleased with the product so far. Time will tell! New Egg is my parts store!
Cons: None so far
Other Thoughts: Got this card to replace the on board video chip set. Intel 3100 chip. probably wasn't necessary, but I run Linux Ubuntu and have had issues with on board graphics chips in the past.

Roommate's Computer
Pros: Really cheap. Actually works. Runs pretty cool. My roommates last video card was running too hot and causing him a host of computer problems. He is on an extreme budget and really only uses his computer for internet, email, viewing pictures, and watching video. It seems to be running cool and doing the job. His only complaint is I didn't set the resolution back where he had it.
Cons: None so far...
Other Thoughts: I would pick out a better card for my machine, but you can't beat it for the price. I will repost if I have any issues with it.

Good for Linux workstations
Pros: Relatively cheap, supported by Linux
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: Bought 8 of these because needed to have DVI output on new Dell Optiplexes and built in cards only have VGA. About half of these will go to developers using Linux and these cards work wonderfully on Linux at 1920x1200 resolution.

Best Budget card ever
Pros: Everything, heat maxes out at 60C and runs COD4 at max settings with a resolution of 640X420 without overclocking. Another pro is that the heatsink is pure copper and allows the card to overclock to 600 core and 500 mhz memory (1000mhz data rate
Cons: you have to be kidding me
Other Thoughts: next week i will experiment and oc this thing even more

It works!
Pros: Cheap price, PCI-E, plays The Sims 2 just fine on a 19" monitor, quiet and cool.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: This card was for a build for my mom so I just kept it cheap and simple.

it works fine
Pros: It works fine -- no issues. I wanted a second monitor so I got this card. I'm not a gamer so I don't know how well it handles games.
Cons: None come to mind.
Other Thoughts: Prior to the recent MSI WIND ultraportable laptop, I'd never heard of MSI. The strength of the reviews on the MSI WIND laptop helped sway me to get an MSI graphics card.
By the way, make sure you have an available PCI Express x16 slot in your computer.

Good Price f
Pros: Easy to use. Was up and running within 5 mins. yeah I move slow. Just had onboard which was a 2.0 in vista. Card on my little cheap computer gives me a 3.4 which is fine since I dont play games. Fan is quite too . Msi products have never let me down.
Cons: NONE NO FREE SHIPPING
MSI REBATES OR A JOKE, Still waiting for a rebate from one card I got back in FEB08. Never will get it . only 10.00
Other Thoughts: Thanks NEWEGG. Paid for 2days overnight got it in 4 days. NOT USP Fault

Pros: Small, quiet enough, and perfect for those who dual-screen and don't play the latest games with so much sick eye-candy. Counter-Strike Source plays wonderfully with it. Works great in Vista and Ubuntu. For Ubuntu 8.04, I had to use Envy to get it working perfectly!
Cons: 2 weeks ago, my windows xp was somewhere between SP1 and SP2, so I guess you could say I had windows xp SP 1.7. Anyway, this happened because Windows couldn't continue the upgrade. It made my wireless work, but this graphics card didn't. Installing Vista fixed everything!

Video Card Is Incompatible
Pros: I can't think of any
Cons: It's not compatible with my gigabyte board GIGABYTE GA-EP35C-DS3R LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX. I tried every Nvidia driver plus MSI's website but the drivers will not load on a new computer system I just bought from Newegg. Please be careful buying this card...it has issues with this board and maybe some others.
Other Thoughts: I should have bought Asus like I always do. This is my last MSI product purchase. My client is now upset he can't get his new computer this week!

best value PCI-E if you insist on nvidia
Pros: Cheap, works, quiet
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: my dimension e520 doesn't have a PCI-e 2.0 slot, so i got this 1.0 card to make a second gaming rig. it runs cod4 at 800x600 with around 50fps which is good enough for this computer.

Perfect Card
Pros: Ge800 series for under 40 dollars. Low profile card, doesn't take a lot of room on the pci slot. Great card for probably everything other than serious gamers.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: This is the second one I've bought. Would definitely buy another one.

Great, inexpensive Dual card
Pros: Inserted the card, downloaded the XP Pro x64 drivers from nVidia and after installing the drivers, my two Viewsonic LCDs look great and everything works well. I recommend this card for everyday use. I do not have any games, so I can not speak to their overall performance...
Cons: The rebate is only for noe card, too bad, so sad...
Other Thoughts: I run my four machines through a pair of KVMs, and the displays run at 1680 X 1050. I set them up as independent displays (the default) and the only oddity is that the drivers account for the display frame width and the images disappear behind them, like having a vertical bar in the middle of a car windshield. I read in the Matrox documentation that that is an optional feature so that the image does not jump across the frame area.
Again, I recommend this card and have not had any problems with it.
