Slow Fan
Pros: At stock OC the card runs the only 2 games I play MW1 & W@W on very high settings, but not quite maxed. If I manually turn fan to 100% I can OC it to higher settings & run the games maxed. Installed easily. Quiet.
Cons: If I OC the card at all, I have to manually increase the fan speed or it will hangup and shut down. Sure, I can increase fan every time i game, but the "auto" fan should increase based on the temp. Running Furmark with it on auto the fan does fine, but it waits till temp gets fairly high, before really kickin in to cool things. Apparently in game, that doesnt work so well.
Other Thoughts: Does anyone know how to get the "auto" fan to react quicker or how to tie the fan to temperature? I'd like it to kick in to 100% at about 50 degrees instead of like 70.

Great Card
Pros: -Great Performance, there isn't a game I've thrown at it that i couldn't max the settings on. Great replacement for my 8800 GTS 512.
-Runs very quiet.
-Factory overclock is always nice.
-Doesn't go beyond 65 degrees under full GPU usage.
-The non-stock cooler is very attractive, to me at least.
-Suppots audio through an HDMI adapter that is included with the product for 1 cable auido/video. Great if you use a TV as a monitor.
Cons: -The Card bends under its own weight. This is because the cooler does not have a large plate over the PCB like the stock cooler does which allows it to bend under its own weight. This has yet to cause any issues, but it remains to be seen if this will cause problems over the coming years. The bending is further caused by the weight and pressure from the 2 6-Pin power leads that are plugged into the very end of the card.
-The PCB is red. Would really have preferred black but thats just a matter of taste.
-The cooler has some very nice looking heat pipes, but they face the motherboard when installed, would really have liked them to have been located on the other side making the visible when installed.
Other Thoughts: Just a couple points about the card in general.
-This is a 10.5" card so make sure you have room in your case for it.
-It is fairly power hungry, it requires at least a 500 Watt PSU with 40 amps on the +12 volt rails, though it ran fine on my old PSU that only supplied 32, just keep that in mind.
-This card is a great middle ground between the GTX 260 and 285, using the GPU of the 285 and the memory of the 260.
-I would really like to see NVIDIA start designing their cards with the power connections located where the sli headers are atm, this would allow the pressure of the power leads to be right where the card is physically attached into the case and not all the way at the end of the board.

Works good
Pros: Works pretty good, overall it is what it says it is. Sounds like a leaf blower on start up, then idles down. Nothing to worry about works like a charm.
Cons: You need two 6 pins to run this card. They dont come with but, your PS might not have them. I had to buy adapted to my 4 pins. huge ordeal. I thought it was kinda big. i was lucky for it to fit into my comp. Runs like a champ tho
Other Thoughts: I have a weak power supply so it crashes at moments of huge explosions in games or even when its mad at me.

Highflight 1985
Pros: Hey Highflight1985 the card isnt whats slowing your system down its your 2 year old cpu, that CPU is garbage and can barely power that video card, a 9800gt would work alot better with that cpu.
Cons: People who dont know how to review properly
Other Thoughts: this is the fastest single chip solution from Nvidia it beats a gtx 285 in almost all tests with a slight overclock and its the same GPU just limted on the memory bandwith.,

Good! But Can I Have Two?
Pros: Haven't owned this card for very long, but my first impressions are good. I was shocked at the weight difference compared to my 8600GTS it replaced.
The pros? Only one: It definitely gives better graphics than my old card, but...
Cons: ...not as good as I was hoping for the $300 I paid for it.
FurMark and other benchmarkers are showing decent scores, and World of Warcraft and other games are playing at higher settings than before, but still not maxed.
Other Thoughts: Was able to overclock it even further than the factory OC. After about an hour of tweaking by 5Mhz, my final numbers were 750MHz Core Clock (Shader clock linked to it using the supplied Afterburner software; 1662MHz shader), and 1200MHz Memory clock. Fan speed left on auto, and Core Voltage couldn't be modified (not that I would have anyway). The difference? Better scores in benchmarks, but not anything noticable in frame rates compared to stock.
It runs extremely hot in my case (almost 90C), but that I think is just becaues of my case. I ended up having to take the side of the case off and turn a household fan on it. It then likes to run about 77C under load. It's always cool when idle (50C).
Me thinks I need two of these bad boys to really see a difference. My wallet says, "Not yet."

Still a great card
Pros: Okay, so I have had this for about 4 months now and it runs all games great including crysis. A good upgrade coming from a geforce 8800gt, I really saw improvement. If you have up to date processor and memory the card can max out most games. The heatsink/fan is a really nice touch, the card temperatures stay low around 30-40 degrees Celsius on idle and don't usually go above 60 degrees while gaming with the fan only at 40% fan speed. This card was meant for high resolutions but my review is based on 1440x900 which is standard for most 19inch widescreen monitors.
Cons: Well this may be a con for you, but it was not the case for me...I bought this card for around 199 with a 15 dollar rebate back in July. I don't understand why the price of the card has increased especially since this is around the holiday time, but as you can see that is a huge price difference.
Other Thoughts: Although my system has a somewhat old processor (E7200 Duo Core 2 overclocked to 3.2ghz) and DDR2-800 RAM the card doesn't seem slowed done at all. Overall this card is excellent for the price I bought it for, I'm not sure if I would buy it for the price it is at now (considering I am cheap) but watch for this card and if you see a price drop you should really buy it.

Outstanding Card
Pros: This card is absolutely amazing. FPS in Aion went way up to 110 FPS. No hiccups at all with this card either. No freezing, stuttering or anything. The card comes with a great accessory package and afterburner is a great utility for fan/gpu temp monitoring as well as clocking. Card runs all games smooth and allows for great FPS.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: make sure to grab the latest Drivers at MSI's site.

Pros: Fast, performs like extremely well. Great on Crysis. All settings on high, with 2xAA, running at 1080x1920, I have no problems, no chop, just smooth picture all the time. Runs every other game I have on high settings as well.
Cons: Seems like it is getting more and more expensive. I got mine on the 4th of July sale for 250 with a 30 mail-in rebate. Fit well in my Thermaltake Spedo Advanced case with no problem, but I could see if you had a smaller, mid-tower case how the length might be a problem.
Other Thoughts: When I'm not gaming, I use the Nvidia Folding@Home GPU client with this card, and I am getting over 9000 points per day. Incredible. Newegg rocks!

Pros: This video card is okay. I use it with Flight Simulator X and the frame rates are great!! Easy to OC.
Cons: Now for the real issue. Buy this card but NEVER purchase a MSI product because of the rebate offer. Your time putting together the paperwork, buying a stamp and driving to the post office is a complete waste. I have mailed more than a few rebate requests to MSI and NEVER received a rebate! I do like their products however.
Other Thoughts: Happy Holidays!

Excellent
Pros: Affordable, two fan cooling, quiet, excellent performance.
Cons: It is a full size card, so you may have to re-route your cables to make sure it fits.
Other Thoughts: This card replaced an EVGA 8800 GTS. It runs everything I throw at it!

Pros: this is really a reply to Jimenez ....MSI has a program out to really make it so easy to tweak your fan and other things.....MSI Afterburner, full fan settings graph and over clocking tools
Cons: none, i've had mine a couple months, thing works great, runs cool and quiet, got it when on sale for under $200 with rebate...i'm lazy, i never sent in the rebate, was still cheap though =)

Beast
Pros: Runs cool. Have not seen it exceed 56c.
Cons: Cant think of any.
Other Thoughts: 1 month later and my rebate is still in the "initial" stage while my friend has already received his rebate from EVGA (bought at roughly the same time).. wondering if im even going to get it after reading some of these reviews.

Still a great card after 3 months
Pros: After a few months with this card and several Nvidia drivers later, I'm extremely happy with the performance. I've settled with a stable OC of 729g/1566s/1269m. With those clocks it benches on par or a little better than a stock 285. Can't complain. Temps were high when I first bought it, and I'd even smell the "new hardware" odor when torture testing it with Furmark. It seems like it the TIM just needed to be broken in. Now I idle around 50C, gaming at 1920x1200 around 68C. GREAT!
Cons: No real cons now, I was originally getting higher temps than the concensus...around 80C gaming. It's gone down slowly over time, measuring with same ambient room temp.
Other Thoughts: Very good buy. Much lower price point than top of the line, with still enough performance to handle higher resolution gaming.

Fans don't work well
Pros: already overclocked, runs just about anything in high to almost high graphical settings, fans are quiet... that might be a bad thing.
Cons: the fans never go past 25% of its abilities, therefore once its starts churning and starts getting high in temperature it crashes in the middle of a game, its annoying as hell. can't figure out why, drivers are updated, I'm having to use hardware monitoring software to turn them on to 100% manually before opening up a game, its also annoying having to turn them on and off manually before and after playing a game. if anyone has any comments on possible solutions... cough cough MSI cough... please enlighten me.
Other Thoughts: once u figure out how to turn the fans on full blast it sounds like a jet engine taking off, I personally don't mind the noise, just as long as does fans cool the card to a decent level. would be nice if it would come on automatically like most other cards do.

I feel stupid now
Pros: This is to rewrite my review on this card. Here I (thought) I had a master understanding of it all and now I am forced to admit that I'm a dummy. Per my last review and how the card will not leave it's low power state is still all true, but what I failed to mention is that I totally overlooked the fact that I don't have a PCI-E 2.0 slot.....It's only 1a. I should have really done my homework before writing the first review and I apologize to you all. And now it all makes perfect sense why it is only as fast as the 8800GT
Cons: I overlooked the most basic thing about buying a vid card....My own board's compatibility
Other Thoughts: This card is awesome and there are no cons....This card is not bad, it is my motherboard that sucks

Amazing!
Pros: Shhhh....very quiet! Makes almost zero noise. Absolutely handles any game I have played on it with ease! First rate build quality, as are almost all MSI products. I can't see any reason other than bragging rights among geeks to purchase anything more powerful.
Cons: Large! Please be aware this isn't going to fit into Mid Towers, you need a Full Tower in order to use this. Doesn't have Native HDMI, uses an Adapter.
Other Thoughts: Overall you can't go wrong with this card, it handles gaming with the best of them. Another neat feature is the HDMI connectivity. Even thought it isn't Native, it does have an SPDIF input on the card, which allows it to produce Audio to the DVI port. When you attach the supplied DVI-HDMI adapter you get Audio!

Got a dud I think
Pros: The design of this card is really nice compared to others of this class. The cooling is just awesome. This card runs slightly cooler than my CPU which is just unheard of, and that is what prompted me to investigate.
Cons: Turns out that my card never leaves it's low power state...Even when playing games. When I play games, I noticed that it wasn't much better than my 8800GT, so I had monitoring active while playing and discovered that my core clock would stay at 300, my shade clock at 600 and my memory at 100. They would jump up about 100mhz but that was it. The only way to get the card fully up to speed is to use Riva tuner and force constant performance mode. This is dangerous because it will not throttle if it overheats. Getting an RMA tomorrow and I'll post back when it is all done.
Other Thoughts: I understand that some cards will be faulty and the only real way to find this cards defects are to play a game or stress test it. Otherwise a person might not even know it is faulty. Like I said before, even though it was on low power mode, it did perform like a 8800GT (which is pretty impressive)

This card rocks
Pros: I bought this card so I could run Aion at max res. It runs it at max res at 1680x1050 with no lag what so ever. It also plays GTA4 with 0 lag. Buy this card. MSI is a good brand! The heat pipes on this thing are so shiny!
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: You dont need to have a 1000watt power supply if your only running 1 of these cards. I found this out after I bought a new psu. 650 should be plenty.

Awesome GPU
Pros: Excellent GPU stock OC is great for any game (besides Crysis) and I ran Vantage stable at 750. Cooling is awesome idles at 43c and stressed only around 60c, you can NOT beat that.
Cons: None....I heard "it is too large for my case"...duh...buy a Real case.
Other Thoughts: No card in its class can out do it. BUY IT!

Buy this if you are spending $230 on a graphics card
Pros: Excellent Heatsink Great Overclocking Headroom Low Noise Fans Lowest Price for a custom heatsink design and reasonable factory overclock.
Cons: Cant see a con.
Some have said big size, no overclocking utility from MSI etc. to be cons but I dont agree. Every card of this caliber is big, so quit hinning. For overclocking you have got RivTuner so no complaint there as well.
Other Thoughts: I have 2 in SLI. Scored 23114 GPU and 26670 Overall on Performance preset in 3D Mark Vantage after overclocking both cards to GPU= 720MHz, Shader= 1510MHz and Memory=1260MHz. Crysis Warhead renders 38Avg FPS with Enthusiast settings, 1920x1200 Res, and 4xAA. Fantastic!!!
How much you can further overclock a card depends upon ur what quality card u get, really a matter of luck. I overclocked both my cards individually to achieve highest clocks. Got 730/1581/1280 (GPU/Shader/Memory) on one and 720/1510/1280 on the other, stability tested with Crysis Warhead and 3D Mark Vantage. I matched the clocks before putting them in SLI.
After I decided that I want a GTX275 instead of HD4890, I researched a lot and found this model from MSI the best in ~$730 price range. A better factory overclocked but with stock heatsink is EVGA GTX275FTW but its $280, not worth the extra $50 imo cause u can get similar overclocking on ur own and yet u get the best air-heatsink design with MSI Twin Frozer.

Pros: FAST, quiet, runs reasonably cool (76-80) even when it's running flat out doing GPUGrid work. I got the open box model from here at Newegg, and as far as I can tell the box was opened but any previous buyer must have been scared by the size of the card because everything's still in packaging, including the cables, adapters, and CD.
Cons: It's big. <shrug> But then, if you're looking at a GTX275, you SHOULD know that. The design does dump a bit of heat into the case, and I've noticed it, but it's not a major issue.

As powerful as it is, it's very quiet
Pros: I upgraded from at 8800GT with a Zalman aftermarket cooler to this one. My concern is that my PC be very quiet and these dual fans ensure that this card does not add any noise over my OCZ 600W power supply. I'm even doing a mild overclock with Riva and the fans do not bump up, and my temps only rise about 5 degrees over stock.
Cons: This card is long and I had to cut into my HD bays with some tin snips, but it was worth it.
Other Thoughts: There are plenty of benchmarks out there so I won't go into that detail. I usually avoid MSI as a second rate card maker, but I have had NO problems with this card after a month of the install. The fans are very loud on bootup, but after that they go silent. The card draws much less power in 2D mode than 3d, unlike my 8800GT.

Great Cards
Pros: Just a great all around card, the two fans really keep things cool. Runs all games with no problems. Pretty red pcb.
Cons: NONE!!!!!!!!!!!
Other Thoughts: I have three of these in tri-sli on my E759 Classified Mobo. There is nothing that they can't handle. The price was right when I purchased these. Depending on how expensive the next generation of cards are, I might switch to ATI. I was just wondering though, alot of you people out there are soooo worried about fps-frames per second- the human eye can only approx. 30 fps, so what is the difference between a card that runs games at 45 fps or 250 fps? I think that all of this is just geeky macho stuff trying to best the next fellow. But these are great cards. I purchased three cards because I never had a tri-sli rig before. Not really concerned about the fps.

Can also overclock a little more...
Pros: I was able to overclock the Video Card. Running full screen benchmarks in 1900 x 1200 for a minute, I had an o3Marks score from 1600 (default settings) to 4143 with an FPS avg from 22 (default settings) to 69. Max GPU Temp at 75C.
Default Core Clock from 666 MHz to 720 MHz Default Shader Clock from 1476 MHz to 1596 MHz Default Memory Clock from 1161 MHz to 1260 MHz
Cons: While the highest o3Marks score was 4143 after trying different settings, the average score I've been getting is 3501 with the same settings as the highest score with a 58 FPS average. Still, more than doubled the default setting performance. Not really a con, but would always like to see more of an overclock. :)
Other Thoughts: Doesn't come with a game... but Max GPU Temp being 75C is pretty good.
FurMark to stress test and benchmark. GPU-Z to monitor Core Temp. EVGA Precision to hardware overclock (Riva-Tuner wouldn't work with the latest drivers, and EVGA Precision you have to reboot in order for the settings to kick in).

Very nice
Pros: Big step up from the 9800GT. Mine is currently OCed to 725 with the shader clock at 1620 and there is still plenty of room to push further. The twinfrozr cooler is incredible, it keeps my card cooler at 725 MHz than my buddies reference 275 at the standard 638 MHz. I just bump the fan up a little and this thing can fold 511s all day long without breaking 70C according to eVGA precision. Did I mention how quiet the fans are? It also comes with an adapter which allows you to get audio through the Dual DVI port via HDMI connectivity. I don't understand why people buy other brand cards when this one has the best overall reviews and was one of the cheapest 275s when I got mine. I would highly recommend this card to anyone looking for a GTX series card. Best bang for buck hands down.
Cons: Since Newegg requires that I say something, the supplied utilities s u c k. But no biggie, Precision works flawlessly with this card anyways.
Other Thoughts: Some people complain that this card's fans are loud when their computer starts up. True, but why is that a con?

Bravo MSI
Pros: -Able to run Crysis on very high with AAx2 with no drops -Idle's around 43-47c -Dual fans on the GPU to keep it cool -Factory Overclock -MSI gives you DVI to HDMI, DVI to VGA adapters and the sound cables. -Great Price!
Cons: -Its not much of a con but I really wanted to see the heat pipes then just reflecting to the mobo.
Other Thoughts: I recently was running a PNY Nvidia 9600 GSO 768MB so purchasing this GPU was a huge step and way cooler my old gpu was 70-80c on idle this one 43-47c.

Pros: Works great, sli of 2 of these was easy as ever, the massive cooler keeps them both pretty cool
Cons: if the cards were 1/8" narrower air could flow between them a little better in sli motherboards with the slots right next to each other. The top card stays a littler warmer than the bottom one, it's basically pulling the exhaust air from the card below it.
Other Thoughts: They do fit fine in an antec 900 case, in fact they are pretty comfortable in there with my 4 harddrives. I did need to move one of the harddrives to the lower slot, you basically need one harddrive bay open per video card. The card is pretty long though, if you have sata/ide/power connections behind the video card slots you might cover them with the card.

Excellent Product Superlative Customer support
Pros: Having bought this card as an open-box item (I noticed the listing for under $165.00 while surfing for a gtx 260 card as the 260's were within by budget- living in Hawaii has major drawbacks when it comes to shipping costs!- like add 25% more for shipping from any mainland retailer!). Keep your eye on the Newegg site as they post these specials from time to time, and usually sell out with in a week. I was resigned to the fact that I would have to do the usual "find the drivers, find a cable download the users manual to find the power spec's scramble. New Egg exceeded my expectations, one again, not only did the card arrive a day earlier than expected but it came in the retail box with all accessories!! including the MSI installation DVD ! This is particularly important for MSI because the their download site usually does not make the "special utilities" (O.C., board monitors, fan controllers etc) " available. Needless to say I am more than ecstatic about this purchase.
Cons: I have no cons, the MSI TwinFroizer OC is as fast and performs as well as the stock GTX 285 in 3d MarkVantage benchmarks. More importantly, much to my absolute surprise, the MSI proprietary TwinFrozer technology works so well that I opted to not use the water cooling thermal block I had on the previous card. I idle around 50 C and peak, under heavy load, at 65 C, this is exceptional to the point that it is a better solution than doing internal case cutting mods to make the H2O block/card combo fit. One important point - at 10.5 inches I would make sure the full sized double slot form factor card will fit in your case with out forming a thermal block to provide this hot running card with enough ventilation. The size is fairly standard for all GTX cards from all vendors so it is not a con for MSI it is just a fact of life. If the size is a problem, wait till Nov. when MSI and a few other manufacturers will start production on the new Nvidea smaller GPU.
Other Thoughts: I can't put enough emphasis on the need to plan for proper case heat dissipation, the TwinFrozer gets the heat away from the GPU but you still need to make sure that heat is not left with nowhere to exi.t We don't want to heat up the entire inside of the case which includes components not spec'ed to endure high temps (ie Mother Board, Disk Drives etc). This is a 5 Egger, the combination of Newegg and this quality MSI product are a definite WIN !!!!!

Great Cards
Pros: Great Cooling, runs every game out there. Like the colors. Overclocks really well. Easy installation.
Cons: none really. I just wish that they would make me breakfast in the morning.
Other Thoughts: I have three of these in tri-sli with my e759 Evga classified motherboard. They perform great. I have have them overclocked to 720. Not nary a hitch, glitch or hiccup. As far as size is concerned, I don't have a problem with it. So I don't see why some people act surprised or complain about the size. They know about this going in. If you are worried about the size of the card, buy a full tower, I mean a good one. This way you won't snivel or whine about the card being too big. But all in all, this is a great card. Waitibg for their 300 class of cards to come out.

good but really long
Pros: - Graphic quality is great - Card is Overclocked and cheap for a Nvidia 275
Cons: - Card is aesthetically ugly compared to the other 275 cards out there. The fans could have been designed to look better. - Fans & cooling pipes are so heavy that it slightly bends the cards - Like other have mentioned, the fans are super loud at startup. After that, quiet. - Card is long. 10+ inches (that's what she said). It fit in my Antec 900-2 case....barely.
Other Thoughts: I'm happy with it, just looks ugly when you look at it through your case window.

Great Card
Pros: The top reason for this card is MSI reputation & the sweet cooling solution. Price if you buy at right time. $204.99 Runs everything I've thrown at it flawless and maxed out. COD4/5, Crysis, Assassins Creed etc. Runs cool in a Antec 900 case. 36c idle vs 48c load. The fast service from New Egg is always a plus!
Cons: Start up fan is a bit loud. Had to remove drive bay housing to get it to fit. (my cables are nowhere near my fans? not like another reviewer had), Can we say "cable management dude!" No free game!
Other Thoughts: This card will vent it's heat into your case but with a proper ventilated case you should not have issues. I run cards fans at 40% normal & 55% while gaming.
Now I have a use for that old 8800GT in physics games when needed.

Swell
Pros: I enjoy this card much more than my crossfire 4850s (512mb cards). My average framerate is up and I have a higher minimum framerate in every game also. Fits just fine in my Antec P182. I didn't even have to remove the hard drive brackets in the middle tray.
Cons: I can't think of any. Oh, it's a big card! no s|-|!t!!!! do some research so you know the specs before you buy. Fan is loud at 100%. but mine is constanly on 25% and I idle at 42 and load at 68. No complaints.
Other Thoughts: Do some research before you buy things so you don't make dumb remarks.

I love it
Pros: This card is really nice, stays cool (45 idle and about 50 max during a game) , runs about 20-25% faster than my 4870 512mb. I believe the 275 is the sweet spot as of right now and should hold me over till the new ones come out (sort of a graphics guy). Although I never buy top end any more, 285 is 100 dolalrs more for a fraction of the perfomance.
Looks sweet
Cons: Fans hum only slightly, although i cant really hear it over my loud dying hard drives, doesn't direct airflow in a uniform way

Great card
Pros: I upgraded from a 8800gts and have seen great gains in performance. I was getting about 10 fps in Company of heroes at max settings... now I get 67 fps at max settings. Thank you MSI for making such a great product.
Cons: I only get 20fps in wow while in Dalaran.. but I think it has more to do with the server than my system.
Other Thoughts: Thanks to newegg for shipping so quickly and for free.

Very happy with performance
Pros: The performance you get for the price makes this card soo much more worth it than investing in a GTX285. With a stable overclock of 720c, 1595s, 1224m, this card scores just as good -and for most tests in passmark - better than a gtx285 with the same proc. In gaming I doubt you'd even tell the difference.
Cons: Although I've read from many sources stating how good the heatpipe aftermarket cooling is on this card, mine seems to run high. I think mostly from my overclock and the res. I see as high as 80c+ on full quality at 1920x1200. Although at lower resolutions do I see 60-65c at full load.
Other Thoughts: I've upgraded my video card a couple levels below "top of the line" every 6 months or so. Usually when the cards get around $200. After seeing how well this one scores after overclocking, I'll probably just get another one of these and go SLI. I don't think you can go wrong with a gtx275, especially this one.

Good upgrade
Pros: Excellent cooling solution. Only a mild factory overclock leaving room for an enthusiast to tinker with it. This is a surprisingly powerful video card and was a worthwhile upgrade from my 8800GTS-512-G92. Specifically, it was a worthwhile upgrade for gaming at high resolutions. I recently went from a 1680X1050 display to a 1920X1080 display. My 8800GTS found itself on the fringe of its ability in games like Crysys Warhead and FarCry2 driving those extra pixels with any sort of quality settings. This GTX275 has no such difficulty. Another pro is nVidias drivers on linux. When I started looking for a new video board, I seriously considered a 4890. I'm running an X38 motherboard and after owning it for 18 months, I finally see cards that would be worth running in crossfire. If AMD/ATi would do a better job supporting linux with their drivers, I probably would have gone with the 4890. I've been happy with nVidias linux drivers since the days of the geforce 2 TI.
Cons: The only cons I can think of might be the sheer size of this card and the fact that the cooling solution does not exhaust out of the case. Neither of those items are a problem with my set up, but buyers should make sure their case can accommodate a card that is ten and a half inches long and be certain they have good enough airflow through their case to make sure the added heat from the video card won't be a problem.
Other Thoughts: One of the reasons I bought this was its heat pipe cooler. I like to tinker with my gaming rig and I spend a lot of extra money on aftermarket cooling solutions for my components. This card was not only a great price but also saved me some money and time for the fact I won't have to replace the stock cooler. Also, I'd like to repeat that this card really does well at 1920X1080. If I were gaming at 1280X1024, this might not have been such a worthwhile upgrade. In fact, at its stock settings, this card only outperformed my overclocked 8800GTS by about a thousand points with the free version of 3DMark which runs at 1280X1024. The difference in a game like Crysys Warhead at higher resolution is night and day, though. Having about twice as many stream processors as my old card makes a huge difference driving the extra pixels.

What a graphics card!
Pros: Beats the tar out of anything I've ever had, which admittedly wasn't much. Fits in my NZXT Guardian 921 with a little room to spare, even though it's about ten inches long. Runs cool, not above 57C yet, much cooler than my overclocked 9400 GT was. Thanks to the drivers I already had installed from my previous card, it was literally plug and play. Runs Rthdribl at a high res at about 140 FPS compared to about 15 FPS on my old card! :)
Cons: Wasn't very cheap, although a great value.
Other Thoughts: Wish I knew it's power consumption.

beast card
Pros: The card looks great in person. The cooler is great for people who overclock or are in a hot area that need low temps, it really does cool better than the other brand card with stock coolers. Runs all games including crysis on highest settings at 1440x900. Excellent card for the money.
Cons: Thing is alot bigger than my previous card (8800gt), I expected it to be so no big deal. Just thought newer technology was supposed to get smaller haha. Fans can be loud, its quite noticable at 50% fan speed, and when my computer first boots the fans are at 100% for a few seconds and it is extremly loud. I can take the noise though.
Other Thoughts: I always went with EVGA video cards my whole life because there lifetime warranty and quality, I decided to go with this card because of its cooler and I figured if the card doesn't get to hot then it won't die soon and I won't need a warranty. Was a good decision, buy this card!

The best overclocker 275 out there!
Pros: MSI’s new heatsink worked like a charm and was able to keep core temperatures well below what we are used to seeing. Performance-wise, the Twin Frozr OC came pretty darn close to the GTX 285 but was never quite able to beat it in a straight fight. I got this card to be overclocked at even a higher core, shader and memory!
Core: 725Mhz Shader: 1607Mhz Memory (DDR): 2550Mhz
Cons: the only con i have is the beautiful heat pipes are not shown when you put the card in. its facing the motherboard, i love the look of the heat pipes, so i have to take a egg off for that.
Other Thoughts: this card it by far the bet i ever had!

The very best single-GPU card you can buy for the money, and I'll tell you why
Pros: The heatsink is amazing... 38C idle, 58C full load... that's overclocked mind you. Looks good IRL. Maxes out everything easily. Cheap (I got it for $185). Beats out the 4890 at stock and destroys it and even the GTX 285 overclocked. It overclocks pretty well too. Also folds (F@H) twice as well as an overclocked 4890. Low idle power draw (lower than a 4850). And last but not least, it's Nvidia. Nvidia is really doing it right with the GT200 series... pricing? Maybe not all the time... But in all-around performance (not just in frames per second, ATI), definitely.
Cons: Long.
Other Thoughts: Fit great in my Lian Li Lancool K7B. I chose this after having used essentially the entire 4800 series with no satisfaction... In my eyes, this card's visual quality easily trumps my last 4870 1GB and 4870 Crossfire... Everything is clearer, smoother, and looks more life-like. This is most obvious in Far Cry 2. The difference is like night and day. I don't think I'll ever be going back to ATI, and this is my first Nvidia card. Specs: Phenom II 945 @ 4.3GHz + (read my review) ASUS M4A78-T 4GB Corsair DHX 1600 1TB F1 Lancool K7B Lian Li Maxima 650W Zalman 9900LED
I finally feel like I got a card that was worth the money.

Awesome card
Pros: Card is very fast, runs anything maxed out of course. The real reason I picked this card was for the cooler. If you read some reviews you will see that it is much more effective than the stock cooler. It stays at about 40 degrees at idle and about 59 under load at 60% fan speed. Anything over this is unbearably loud IMHO. Factory oc/ed but I was able to push it even harder. I'm stable at 740/1640/1306 which is very healthy.
Cons: A little loud, might be a problem fitting into some cases. I have a NZXT (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146054) full tower which it fits into nicely.
Still not enough GPU for my Core i7 920 @4.40GHz =)
Other Thoughts: This is a great card for the money, it really makes the most sense out of all of the nVidia cards at the current time. These in SLI would be out of control.
I upgraded from two 8800GTS 640MB in SLI and this card spanks the heck out of them.

Great card
Pros: works well, stays cool and quiet
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: It does fit in a antec 900 case. I have 2 cards and 2 case with this card. You have to remove the plastic 120mm fan holder that mounts smack dab in the middle of the case. I had to take this out as soon as I got the case, because all the gtx 260, 275, etc cards need it removed to fit, not just this msi model

Awesome!!
Pros: It's a 275gtx!! This card smokes my old 9800gtx. Playing Crysis on 1680x1050, high settings, 4x AA and getting over 40fps!!! The twin fans keep this card very cool. 39C idle, and 59C being the highest load temp I've seen on 65% fan speed.
Cons: I must be unlucky because my card is not a very good overclocker. Couldn't get a stable overclock that would increase performance any. Oh well, stock speeds are more than adequate. Fans are pretty loud at 100% but if you have a headset on, you can't hear them anyways.
Other Thoughts: Very impressed with this card. I was kind of bummed out about the overclock but I'll get over it. Get this card over a 285gtx because the performance difference is not worth the extra $75-$100..

SOLID PERFORMANCE
Pros: The GTX275 is already a solid card for the price, but the fact that you can get this performance with aftermarket cooling already installed and pre-overclocked it awesome!!! This clearly beats out my previous 9800GTX SLI setup due to the near 900MB of memory and total 240 shaders.
Cons: Not one so far.
Other Thoughts: If you prefer to keep your card below 65C then you'll have to manually adjust the fans which can be a bit noisy (but not high pitch). But this IS a performance card and fan noise is reasonable.
A full case (4+ 5.25 bays) is required to fit this huge card.
For less than 200 you better get one!

Cons: Well I lost my reabte but who cares. My specs AMD Athlon 4400 clocked, Gigabite 790FX UD5P with 5Gb of Croshair ddr3, with a 450 rosswil Stallion power suppply and in a Thermaltake Speedo so awesom!!!
Other Thoughts: This thing fastest like a cat lol. My cat is like a chetah when he jump off the printer NOOO KITTY. L0l her's in front of the dscreen now review done!

Great card, great price.
Pros: Fast, runs cool, high quality card, nice packaging, plug and play (how it should be), low price.
What a great card, I upgraded from a 8800GTS and this blows it out of the water. I play LOTRO mostly and I’ve gotten a huge bump in performance. I can run the game in very high graphics settings and get higher frame rates and no stuttering, where as my 8800 ran at medium settings and often stuttered in high population areas and in raids.
Idles at 42C and fully cranked it’s at 65C. There’s a lot of heat, but it’s transferred away from the card very efficiently. Make sure you have adequate and well managed case airflow. My 8800 was idling at 40C and getting up to 75C cranked, and it was so much less powerful than this card. It downclocks itself very well when not gaming, and the process is transparent to the user.
Cons: Eats power and makes tons of heat, but common, you can’t expect Porsche speeds out of a Prius, and you can’t expect Prius mileage out of a Porsche, right? If you do, well, go freeze yourself and wake up in 50 years.
Size, but it’s not any bigger than all the other 275 cards out there, but unless you got a full tower, you want to make sure your case can handle it.
Why OC it to that particular speed?? Can’t you do 663 or 671? This is a classic case where due to the lack of cross cultural understanding, they would benefit from asking some very simple questions in their intended market.
The OC software is pretty weak and not user friendly. All in all, only the OC software and clockspeed are real complaints, and they are minor ones compared to all the positives you get.
Other Thoughts: The day I received it, price went from 249 to 199 and also free shipping! Talked to Newegg and they refunded my 50 bucks, took about 5 minutes, easy and painless, good on ya NE!
I’ve been weighing this card vs the much more popular evga 275, and got this one even though it was more expensive (before the price drop), mainly because of the better cooling solution. Also, that was compared to a stock evga, the OC version was even more. This is a great deal on a well designed and high quality card, get it!

Excellent
Pros: Fantastic card for the price. Upgraded from an 8800GTS (512MB) and didn't look back. + Stays cool while gaming. Using Furmark I could get it up to about 70C; at that point its fans would rev up and drive the temps back down a little. Most games aren't nearly this taxing, and it tends to stay in the 50's for me. + Performs great. Blows my old card out of the water, and for about the same price I paid for it a year and a half ago. + Has a pretty good factory overclock on it, and runs about the same price as non-OC'ed cards. + Looks awesome.
Cons: - Dumps the hot air back into the case rather than blowing it out the back. If you have proper case cooling, this isn't as big of an issue. - Big and heavy. Make sure it'll fit your case. My CoolerMaster 690 had no issues. - Hungry. Takes two 6-pin power cables, and has a reasonably high power requirement. Of course, it's a more powerful card, so that comes with the territory.
Other Thoughts: Let's see: non-reference HSF, good overclock, low price. Never tried MSI before, but if they keep up this combination of price and performance, you can bet I'll be coming back in the future.
System Specs for Comparison: Cooler Master 690 Case Core2Duo E8400 @ 3.6GHz/1600FSB EVGA nForce 780i Mobo 4GB G.Skill DDR2 @ 1000MHz MSI GTX 275 TwinFrozr OC Thermaltake Purepower 550W Modular PSU

GREATTTT
Pros: This card is absolutely great. I put this card in and it is a great performer. I bought this card because of the cooler on it and I was expecting it to be good quality but it took me by surprise. The cooler is actually made from very high quality metal and the attention to detail and level of craftsmanship are very high. MSI did a great job with this and it does keep the card very cool. The 2 fans at normal 2D stay at 40% and as the temp increases the fan speeds does as well. The automatic fan speed control is flawless. i would recommend this to anyone.
Cons: It might not fit in a small case and is pretty power hungry. This card extends past the end of my ATX board by about an inch and goes right over top of the south bridge. You MUST have a low profile heatsink on the southbride if this card is going to be on top of it or it will not fit.
Other Thoughts: I did notice some quality control stickers on the backside of the card...6 of them to be exact. To me that means MSI thoroughly tested this card.

Awesome Card
Pros: Best throughput card I've ever owned. Am NOT sorry I bought it. Had a whole millimeter of clearance from my harddrive rack in my Thermaltake Tsunami Dream Tower. Upgraded from a MSI 7600GS 256. (new MB, CPU/RAM) Was able to basically MAX OUT Battlefield2 and Nascar2003, had been running them both with limited res and eye candy. Don't know about any heat issues yet, a reviewer of my case said it wasn't the best choice for big cards like this because of the limited front air flow. So I'm leaving the front two doors open when I go gaming. Make sure you have two six pin connectors from your power supply, or by the Startech adapter like I did. I chose the MSI brand for this card because I have never had any problems or failures from their products, and will keep buying their video cards because they simply work straight out of the box. Didn't use included drivers, downloaded them from Nvidia.com. Simply awesome card, and my fans don't buzz at startup like some others have stated.
Cons: N-O-N-E
Other Thoughts: I'm glad I dinked around with budget cards until the the technology came along to produce products like this. This is what gaming should be all about.

Rock solid
Pros: I fold 24/7 and I love these cards, keep cool, work perfectly. a dependable 6-8000 ppd depending on work unit (not oc'ed).
Cons: Had problems with eue's on an intell mb (gigabyte EP45T) but moved to an Nvidia 780i evga mb and has been perfect.

Technical Perfection
Pros: Unbelievably fast! I replaced an OC'd 8800GT with this card and it destroys anything you throw at it. I played Crysis Warhead with everything set to 'Enthusiast' @ 1680x1050 and it was smooth as glass, even in an intense firefight. The cooler is amazing! My rig runs an average of 15 - 20 degrees cooler with a much faster card!
Cons: None yet. It's pretty big, so make sure you have the room.
Other Thoughts: With the price and performance of the GTX 275 there's no need to bigger, unless you're going to a GTX 295.

Worth it
Pros: Excellent performance. I am yet to find an application that would bring it down. And I tried...
Cons: Enormous size hampers installation, meager documentation in the package. But once installed it's a blast.
Other Thoughts: The thing barely fits in my Antec 900 midtower. I actually had to move the HDD enclosure to a lower slot. Also, my motherboard only had one 6-pin power cable, so I had to buy a Y-adapter like StarTech 6" LP4 to 6 pin PCI Express Video Card Power Adapter. Make sure you have two 6-pin connectors, or order the adapter with your new card. I didn't, so I had to buy one from a local store.

This is a Beast
Pros: Have not tried crysis as I am way to lazy to install it, however It runs fallout 3 all max with max AA and all that fun stuff with absolutely NO drop in framerate or any lag at all, Vastly better than my 8800GT lol.
Temperature is not much worse than my last card, about 55-65 C under load (fan cooling, well managed case)
Noise, its mostly quiet except during startup
Does not burst into flames when you start your computer.
Makes pretty gfx
Cost (If you got it when it was on sale for 50$ off)
The cons section looks daunting, but allot of it is case information, its a great gfx card, Would recomend it to Anybody, even if it means upgrading your case.
Cons: These WILL NOT FIT in the Antec Nine Hundred cases* There is simply not enough room, especially to SLI these. There are some cases Mid cases that will fit these, but I recommend the PSU is on top, otherwise wires reach across the card which is a No-No.
*OK, I lied, you can make them fit, but it takes some work, you will need to remove the Drive bracket in order to get it to fit, but if you do it that way ALL the cables go across the GFX card and some hit the fans. You have been warned.
Cost (If you did not get it when it was $50 off =D)
Sounds like a black hole opened up inside your computer during startup, quiets down after that though.*
Temperature is also a con, nothing should be idling at 50-55 C. Friend has one that idles at 60 C (Non additionally Oc'd), but I won't take egg off for this.
*Note- No real black holes open up inside your computer during startup as a direct result of this card.
Other Thoughts: This is 10.5" long, which is too wide for allot of Mid tower cases, one of the best cases I have found for this is the Phoenix Neo. (Sorry Newegg, I love you guys but you wont carry this =*( ) The power plugs (2x 6 pin gfx power connectors) are located on top of the card, so in theory you could fit it in a space that is 10.51" but I don't recomend this =D.
MSI does not always make the cheapest stuff, but you get what you pay for, the quality is always very good and it comes well packaged
You probably will not need to OC this any further than it comes, handles everything I throw at it.
While I have never owned an 8800GTX let alone SLI'd them, Word is this or the Higher series of the GTX are a great replacement for them.
Be advised it does take at least a 500W PSU for these.

Awesomeness!
Pros: Great card with a nice OC. Have it in SLI and destroys all i throw at it. At this price you can get almost 2 for the price of a GTX 285, and better performance. Very quiet operation. Has yet to exceed 62C under heavy gaming.
Cons: No Functional cons really. Aesthetically its a bit ugly in my side window. As others have mentioned, at startup it goes to 100% fan speed, but after loading back down to the default 40%.
Other Thoughts: My first MSI products. Have always had BFG or EVGA cards, but i am definately liking this one. I went with this card for its better cooling and quieter operation. Am not dissapointed at all, not a bit. Was going to SLI gtx 285 with an after market AC cooler, but would loose all my pcie slots. For the price i went SLI 275/s as the performance difference in the 2 is not monumental. Now i get to keep my pci-e sound card and have all the performance i want.

Card passed expectations
Pros: Card stays very cool, 42 C in games generally... Was a challenge to get it above 50C with a benchmark test. (Room temp around 20-21C during tests)
With my configuration I haven't found a game yet that wasn't totally smooth on highest settings.
Cons: Nothing really, Would have liked there have been at least 1 gig on this card instead of 896 MB.
Other Thoughts: My configuration with this card: GIGABYTE GA-EP45T-UD3LR Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 Wolfdale 3.16GHz Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 MSI N275GTX TwinFrozr OC GeForce GTX 275 Antec EA650 650W Antec 900 Midtower case Patriot Viper 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1333 SDRAM

Worth every penny!
Pros: Bought 2 in SLI config. Runs great and at low temps. Can't complain here.
Cons: Start up fan noise. Its loud but for only a couple seconds.
Other Thoughts: Scored P25882 on 3dMark Vantage.
System specs: i7 920 @ 3.7Ghz, Corsair DDR3-1600, Asus P6T V2, CM HAF 922, CM V10.

Cool Card
Pros: So I tried upgrading my wife's computer (Dell E510) in order to keep gaming on it. I tried 3 times with 9800GT cards to no avail. Now I get a new gaming computer. Liquid cooled core i7, AZZA Solano full tower case, etc., etc., and this card. Wow! Finished COD4 maxed in two nights and am now replaying Crysis. The visuals are great. DX10 (now that I have Vista), everything maxed but AA (can only go 2X vs 8X on 1920x1200 res). And the temps are amazing. The cooling on this card has to be seen to be believed. The real world gaming temps (not stress temps) are incredible. Start up temp during my testing was 26.5 C, idle was 29.7 C, and after 3+ hours of Crysis, temp was 38.4 C! Enough said.
Cons: No free game. The screws on the PCB side of the card protrude enough to possibly interfere with SLI'ing, but another reviewer already said that he could SLI this on the same board that I have (ASUS P6T). For $140 more I could have 8X antialiasing with an EVGA GTX285FTW!
Other Thoughts: If you don't want to fork up the extra $ for a 285, this is where the sweet spot lies. Once this drops to $200, I'm going to SLI and have no issues maxing any game.

Great Card
Pros: *Performace *Price *can't say anything about customer support, haven't needed to get in contact with them.... how it should be :) *plays games well, i mean Real well.... ..... *resembles a miniature internal combustion engine....that could be a plus or a negative...ill let you decide.
Cons: 1: can get hot. my card can get into the mid 60's without any fan adjustments under heavy load. this is okay i suppose, as it could tolerate much higher temps, but the graphics card isn't the only component i'm worried about in my case. 2: the size, not really a con, but co'mon, it would surely be a plus if they could make it smaller. 3: power hungry, make sure you're power supply can carry it's load. i have a 500w so i bought the FSP Group Booster X5.
and thats it.. one hell of a performer for the price.
Other Thoughts: i always bought low level cards up until this one. i couldn't be happier with the quality or performance...i hope it lasts me a long time ;)

Excellent Card!
Pros: On my last PC build, I used a Nvidia 9800GX2. I can't say I was very happy with it. It was hot, some games did not like it, and it was annoying using 2 monitors (Problem with SLI at the time). This card stays much cooler. I have got it to 52C, but that was under heavy load for a while. The 9800GX2 would easily hit above 80C in the same conditions. (Case: Antec 900, room temp 70F.)
This card is fast, works well with every game, and stays cool, for a graphics card at least. I couldn't recommend a better video card for the price. Even if money was no object, a GTX285 card is a tiny little bit faster, but a lot hotter. Having a blazingly hot video card will increase overall case temperture aswell.
Cons: Fan's are loud at start up for about 5 seconds. If you every increased the fan speed to 100%, you would definitly hear them.
Other Thoughts: Great card, Great cooling, Great performance!

Buy, Buy, Buy
Pros: I bought two of these for SLi configuration; the performance is phenominal, I couldn't be more pleased, really. Though, I am considering picking up another for tri-SLi (even though I know it'll be excessive:)).
At any rate, the price/performance ratio doesn't get much better than this. These are truly incredible cards; they are stable and sturdy.
Cons: Nothing, seriously. Do your gaming a favor, pick one up (or two!)
Other Thoughts: System specs: i7 920 @ 3.2GHz, OCZ DDR3-1600, Asus P6T Mobo, GTX 275 SLi.
With this set-up, I scored 24,600 on 3dMark Vantage. Trust me, you won't be dissappointed; Crysis with max settings and 1920x1080 resolution plays between 30-45 fps, always!

great card !
Pros: whats not to like runs my games at 2048x1152 with no sweat where my old 9800gtx would studder . The cooler is what atracted me to this never seen this card get over 42 deg C on my antec 900 case , I had to use EVGAs precision program to control my 9800gtx that would realy heat up , no more . Games look fantastic
Cons: card is BIG and long barly fits in my antec 900 opted to get a full tower case to give this thing some room . It is heavy
Other Thoughts: MSI has a winner here stock cooler is fantastic and worth the extra few bucks

Out with the old in with the new...
Pros: Runs well, plays any of the games I have thrown at it on max settings. (WOW, BF2142, CRYSIS, CRYSIS WARHEAD, ETC...) Love the fans. Noise might be an issue for some but I have a cooler master stacker with a wall of 120 mm fans so noise I am used to!
Cons: Not really any as of yet.
Other Thoughts: Exchange it out for an old defective 8800gtx. Remember those!! 649.00 back in the day with tax.... what were we all thinking. Anyway nice card so far so good luck to anyone who buys. I would definitely buy it again especial if my Asus Maximus Formula would do SLI :). Seems to be a good step up from the old faithful 8800 gtx.

Impressed
Pros: Cheap, Crazy Powerful, And Stays Cool..
Cons: Although it doesnt matter.. The Heatsink is so heavy that the card is actually flexing whiles its in the PCIE Slot.
Other Thoughts: This Card Runs any Game Without Problems, The Fans at Stock speed are kinda loud, and at 100% are crazy Loud.. but my speakers/headphones are louder :) Great Product

Good Stuff
Pros: Fast...very fast. And cdeap!
Cons: It's kind of loud, especially during startup.
Other Thoughts: I bought this to replace two 4850s in crossfire, and this did the trick. To be fair, there was nothing wrong with the performance of the Radeons. In fact, they were excellent in Windows. Unfortunately, ATI's linux drivers just plain don't work right. I like KDE, I like the desktop effects, and I want to be able to watch a DVD, something a ten year old PC can do!) without glitches or crashing the system. This card gives me the best of both worlds, Windows and Linux, for which I am very glad!
