Pros: Worked great until it died. Was not overclocked.
Cons: Dead after 1.6 years. Popped caps.
Other Thoughts: Was a good little card. had to set mobo to slowest speeds for ram or it wouldn't let the system post. MSI KT600 mobo, AMD 2800 1.5g ram.

Works fine, good performance for the price at the time
Pros: Needed an AGP card for my computer, didn't want to spend a lot of money. Works fine, when my old computer died, I put the card in my son's computer. He does more gaming than me, and it worked fine for him too.
Cons: PCI-e x16 2.0 9600GT cards are now available for a few dollars more, if you aren't stuck with an old system that uses an AGP slot! I can't really deduct any points from the rating for that.

Don't Buy!
Pros: Looks good, spec wise
Cons: This card lasted only 2 minutes before the picture went out. It became blocky and distorded. I have used many nVidia cards of the 6xxx and 5xxx series, and never had a problem before.
Manufacturer Response:We apologize for the issue, please contact our support at 888-880-3842 so we can get it replaced if necessary. Thanks, Jacob

Pros: Best AGP card i could find. After devoting 256MB out of the 2GB of memory to video, i was able to enjoyably play WARbeta on lowest settings
Cons: Its only weak compared to todays technology
Other Thoughts: Its the best option for upgrading your aniquated AGP mobo

Locks up Computer
Pros: It does work fine as long as you don't need to use 3D Accelerated apps.
Cons: This board was bought specifically so that all the layers in WoW would show up, replacing an older card that worked but some things didn't appear in the scenes. It installed fine and appeared to work with various apps, but then we tried it on WoW. As soon as we went past the opening screen, the whole computer froze and then rebooted. Got an RMA on this and sent it back. NewEgg promptly sent another one. Put it in, same lockup problem. I then ordered a different model from Newegg with same NVidia chipset and it has worked fine for almost a year. I put this card in another workstation that wasn't for gaming. It worked fine, until I tried to use Google Earth. Then it froze and rebooted. Finally I put it on my Linux workstation and used the nvidia driver. Worked fine, even with Google Earth, but when I fired up Thunderbird, it would randomly lock up the whole machine. Finally I called it quits. It's a waste of money sending it back twice. I salvaged the fan and put the board in the trash.
Other Thoughts: I am happy that some people aren't having problems with this board, but since I sent the first one back and the second one has the same serious problem of system lockup, which is repeatable on three machines and with different OSes, I have to conclude that there is a design flaw with the board. It's not NVidia's fault because a similar 7600 card from another vendor works fine. My recommendation: don't buy this particular card. There is a design flaw somewhere in it. Shop around. NewEgg has lots to choose from.

Great Card!
Pros: Amazing card! Upgraded from a Radeon 9500 Pro, and this card runs World of Warcraft at 1680x1050 with everything maxed out at 2xAA with FPS of 30-60 depending on the area! Doom3 at 1280x1024 with Ultra settings runs around 30FPS as well! Runs cool and quiet too!
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Running this on an old NForce2 Asus motherboard with an Athlon XP 3200+ and 2Gb of CAS2.5 DDR400 RAM. A great purchase to extend the life of an old AGP system. Get the latest NVidia drivers from the eVGA site, the drivers on the CD are outdated.

AWsome monitor
Pros: I upgraded to this monitor from a 17'' and let me tell you wow wow wow !!! it's so beautiful when i play WOW..the color is so pretty i just want to look at it all day... look great on my desk...
Cons: Nada..oh wait.. if you want to run older games like starcraft it won't adjust resolution so it will be stretchy
Other Thoughts: Make sure u have a compatible video card of it will be stretchy...when u sing for normal stuff.. I had to buy a new video card upgrade from a fx5600... then after that a i had to buy a new power supply to power my new video card.. but now everything is so beautful heheehehe

sketched out after a year
Pros: Ran WoW on high settings, Oblivion medium-high, pretty awesome for agp, I was very happy with it while it was working well.
Cons: As others have said, *loud*. Temperature monitor never worked right (always showed it at 100 C - boiling temp for water - which is physically impossible, especially since it didn't feel hot). Started having problems after about a year, and now when I log in, the screen goes to a 'greenish TV static' looking display and usually either locks up the PC or forces a shutdown or reboot. Strangely, still recovers & works some of the time.
Other Thoughts: My guess is that this card is very finnicky about temperature and power-- my UPS battery went dead a few months ago (noticed during a power outage, of course), which may have contributed. So, if you get it, have a solid power supply with a UPS that has a good battery and keep it cool.

Good Card
Pros: Excellent card to extend the life of an outdated system, cheap (even though I paid 160 dollars for it at the time,) preforms well on popular games such as: Team Fortress 2 40+ FPS, World of Warcraft 70+ FPS, Counter-Strike: Source 75+ FPS, and many more. EVGA customer support is the best ever, see below.
Cons: Mine died on me after a year and a half of heavy use. Capacitors blew out on me while playing some games. I did use the card heavily, and never shut my PC down, ever. I normally would remove more eggs from the review but the excellent customer support I received outweighs this. RMA procedure lasted about 2 days and I was given a green light to ship my card to them.
Other Thoughts: My system is old, ASUS P4P800-E Deluxe mobo, 1 gig of pc 3200 ram, Intel socket 478 P4 2.8E processor, running with a 450 watt thermaltake PSU. REMEMBER TO REGISTER YOUR CARD WITH EVGA WHEN YOU RECEIVE IT, OR YOU LOSE YOUR WARRANTY! Just so you know.

Pros: Received first one, memory was borked. RMA'ed and Newegg sent a new one promptly. Worked great out of the box. Great customer service, and I'm happy with the card.
Cons: This old computer still can't handle newer games, but that was expected. No issues with the card.

Good for aging AGP PCs
Pros: Great price with the mail-in rebate. It's keeping my aging AGP computer alive. Can finally play WoW at max settings on widescreen 19" LCD. Gears of War played fairly well on high settings (One of the video settings has an Extreme option, I think. Had to tone that down to High to match the rest of the video options). For GoW, it's sometimes choppy here and there but that's because of my IDE hard drive loading the map, etc. Once it's loaded, runs great. Physical size of the card is perfect (not bulky like other AGP cards with huge fans, etc.). Can be overclocked with new nVidia drivers but read forums carefully on how high to go.
Cons: None about the card. None about New Egg (they're always great). Con about UPS delivery. Usually, the driver drops off packages between 12:00pm and 2:00pm. When the card was to be delivered Friday, I waited and eventually had to leave for work. Check UPS' website and they attempted to deliver at about 5:45pm, Friday. I came home for my lunch at about 6:00pm, and they left a sticky that they will attempt again on Monday between 11:00am and 2:00pm. Called UPS to make sure, and they stated it was an estimate, the driver might deliver by 6:00pm. Argh! So I had to go down there to pick it up myself Monday morning so I can finally play with my new card.
Other Thoughts: Careful overclocking the card. There was a recommended overclocked setting posted on a forum, I tried it, worked great! I bumped it up a little more and that's when WoW started to show a lot tearing, and closing Gears of War caused my PC to freeze/crash when returning to the desktop. When I would reboot afterwards, the system would freeze during boot-up when loading the nVidia profile, etc. which required to boot in Safe Mode, un-install video drivers, and re-install. My current system: AMD Sempron 3000+, ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe, 1 GB (512MB x 2) DDR, 20GB HD IDE ATA 66 (reason for GoW to get choppy) - primary drive, 120GB IDE ATA 133 - storage. Yes, it's more than a few years old. LOL.

Upgrade
Pros: I could actually play fear on my 2003 hp desktop! Good for the price (12 months ago)
Cons: I couldn't play fear very well.
Other Thoughts: I can't believe this thing costs the same as when I bought it last April... Do yourself a favor and get an 8 series. Do they make those in agp. Probably not. I need a new computer.

Awesome AGP card
Pros: Great price on a really strong AGP card. 256 MB of fast DDR2 RAM, install is easy, not too big and the fan works good enough. Dl'ed the newest drivers from Nvidia and they worked like a charm. picture quality is great, and i can play modern games such as Call of Duty 4 without a single hitch, as well as other games like Medieval 2 Total War!!! and that is good, because my PC is old and not all that strong. overclocking on this card would be easy, unfortunately my motherboard will not allow it. so far though, i havent needed it! VERY satisfied. i edit video on this machine as well, and the playback is smooth as silk
Cons: for what it is, none really. AGP is old, but if you are upgrading an old AGP computer to play modern games this is about as good as it gets for the price. Do not expect PCI Express performance, but obviously if you are buying an AGP card you aren't expecting that anyway. it was big enough to get unconfortable close to the PCI slot next to it, but i did not need it anyway. i moved my sound card and NIC card to the other two
Other Thoughts: you may not need to upgrade to a stronger power source with this card. ive heard of it running with only a 230 watt source, but i would recommend upgrading to at least 350-400 watts for this baby. you can get one of those PSU here at newegg for next to nothing, and it is worth it to get full capacity out of the card. i dont have a strong machine, but this card handles all the games well that i play on it, IBM Thinkcentre A50p, 2.8 GHz processor, 1.5 GB RAM, 380 watt PSU (bought from newegg for only 18 bucks and works great so far). love this site

Great Value for AGP
Pros: I bought this card expecting to inject some power into my old AGP system before I build a new computer. It actually outperformed my expectations. Even with my weak computer I can run Team Fortress 2 and other source games at a nice steady framerate.
Cons: None for the price.
Other Thoughts: I do however have issues with Call of Duty 4 now that I installed this. Probably not even the cards fault.

2nd PC back in buisness
Pros: My P4 DDR400 AGP PC can now play every game title i want it to. Been working for 9 mos. now.
Cons: To play Americas Army, you have to tweak your registry to avoid black screen shots. This happens to many nvidia cards, including 8800 series which my other PC has.

World of Warcraft player
Pros: Simple install. Runs World of Warcraft with the video settings at max without any problems.
Cons: It wont help the Alliance win in the battlegrounds. lol!
Other Thoughts: My one and only purpose for buying this card was to improve my graphics in World of Warcraft. It has fulfilled that need perfectly! I'm able to run everything at max and it looks absolutely fantastic and smooth! I'm very happy with this card.

Pros: Easy to install. Drivers out of the box worked. To me modest performance upgrade from 9800pro. I value ease on eyes, crip text, and clean clear vivid graphics. I can't speak about speed. I am not an avid gamer. I can say it is faster than a GeForce 4.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: OS WIN XP, CPU 3G P4 NORTHWOOD,CHIPSET INTEL 865 PE,RAM 512M DDR400: I have no loyalty to ATI or nVIDIA. NVIDIA was my choice this time after reading Newegg customer reviews. THANKYOU people for sharing your product experience. THANKYOU Newegg for your prices, service and website.

Awesome
Pros: Great card, runs all my games and such very well. If you don't play really really high end games then this card is great for the price. I play a lot of sports games and some first person shooters and I can run all of them with all the settings up. Great card for the money
Cons: Its not PCI express
Other Thoughts: If you have an older motherboard without PCIe and do not want to upgrade your whole machine, then this is a great card at a good price

Pros: Its a good solid AGP card. There is a dwindling selection of these things. If your looking for just a video adapter on the cheap for an old machine, can;t go wrong.

Great product from evga
Pros: I bought a s120 9550 video card from office depot to save a dying p3 agp system. It worked so well it inspired me to build a new pc around it. I got it all put together and the card crashes every 2 minutes, took it back and traded for geforce fx5500, worked great(for what it was) but I wanted to game.
Cons: None this card is sweet
Other Thoughts: Biostar K8M800 micro atx mobo combo/amd 64x2 3800 2.0ghz(ocd to 2.32ghz),2 gigs ultra ddr2 5400 667mhz ram, and Geforce 7600 GS(ocd to 525 core and 425 memory). This thing runs awesome. Play painkiller overdose, Loki, Bioshock, on medium to high setting. Couldnt be happier.

great card for the right price
Pros: Great performance for its price. i can play half life 2 on high setting with 80 fps! had no problems installing the drivers, took like 10 minutes to get it working.
Cons: none so far besides the fact that the fan on the card makes a little more noise then my old one but its not a big deal or anything.
Other Thoughts: fast shipping, had not problems installing the drivers... i got it all working in like 10 minutes. this card squeezed the last little bit of life out of my AGP computer. i would recommend this card to anyone who wants to play some games but doesn't want to upgrade to a new computer with PCI express.

not impressed but does the job
Pros: i'm not sure yet
Cons: annoyingly automatically sets the resolution on my 1080p sony bravia to a sh!tty lower res.
Other Thoughts: fast shipping as always. newegg hasn't let me down yet and i've been shopping with them for years. hopefully it will prove itself over the worthless 25 dollar card it replaced, but for now i see no difference.

Great upgrade for cheap!
Pros: Replaced an ATI 8500DV AIW with this. Other than the lack of a firewire port, superior in every aspect. Perhaps it's just me, but I didn't think the fan was too loud. Since my daughter wasn't using the AIW to watch TV, she's very happy with performance increase. As usual, newegg shipping was excellent. Very good value for the money.
Cons: It's AGP? Not really a con for me since it went into an AGP only system.
Other Thoughts: My daughter can play some newer games now, and it helped breath new life into an older system. Very stable.

Technical vs Value
Pros: For a system without a PCI-Express slot, this card will work well with a high-end system. Games like Quake4 and UT3 run well on it. They are very playable and look good, but the card cannot do it in "High Settings" mode.
Cons: First: Of course there is the rebate scam, where even if you have your wife watch you put the receipt in and take pictures of you doing it - they still deny you the rebate because you "Forgot to include receipt." Hard to prove it once they have it, huh? [Note: I am a paranoid OCD who really could not "forget the receipt" even if I did not have someone witness and record it.] Second: I ended up replacing this card in my high-end machine with the 7600GT. WHAT A DIFFERENCE the GT has over the GS! I was surprised at the tremendous improvement from just GS to GT. Third: This card did not work in my low-end machine (Athlon 2600, 768MB RAM, ECS MoBo from 2001, AGP 4x). A 6600GT works fine in that machine.
Other Thoughts: Just never count on a rebate. They will scam you (probably from responses I have read) about 1/4 to 1/3 of the time. Pretend it is not a factor when buying.

No, it's not the fastest . . .
Pros: Easy installation, doesn't take up a lot of case space, doesn't require a huge power supply to run, and it's quiet. Oh, yeah--it also gives great graphics and is a sweet upgrade for somewhat-older hardware that doesn't need or even CAN'T use the power of, say, a 8800 or the new Nvidia 9 series. Also, I checked this out on various websites, and it seemed to be better than most comparable ATI cards, both in price and performance (although there's no doubt that NewEgg helps improve the price advantage!).
Cons: Um, none, really--I could hope for a little more on-board video RAM, but it's really just fine the way it is.
Other Thoughts: This is a fabulous deal, especially when you compare it to what retail stores are selling video cards at (stores like Staples, "WallyWorld," OfficeDepot, etc.). I saw a Nvidia FX5200 agp card at Staples for $130 plus tax--that's insane!

Pros: runs call of duty 4 great. I like this card and price and rebate you cant beat it for the price, as mentioned befor ads new life to the dying agp.
Cons: make sure you have a power supply double rail is real nice 500 watts if you game.
Other Thoughts: get one now if your running agp and dont have alot of money

Better than my Sapphire
Pros: It's DDR2, as advertised. It handled Silent Hill 2 & 3 at max settings with absolutely no hiccups, and far better performance than the Sapphire card it replaced. AGP, so it fit my outdated Netvista perfectly. 128 Bit is better than 64 bit.
Cons: Fan was a little loud, but I didn't expect it to be silent. At least I knew it was working. Computer died thanks to my lack of a static band during a RAM installation (should've bought one long time ago) before I could really break it in--not the video cards fault.
Other Thoughts: Bought a Sapphire card that since has been discontinued, but this one's stil being sold. Sapphire was labeled as DDR2, but the box said DDR. It had framerate problems with SH2 on high settings and a tendency to cause graphics issues on SH3. This video card made both of them run like water. Saved the card and praying it still works--will come in handy if I manage to get my hands on another outdated AGP system.

Noisy
Pros: A decent card in general -- considering we're talking about legacy AGP (I understood what I was buying). Was able to play Half-Life 2 @ 1680x1050 with 2xAA and no frame rate was OK.
Cons: The fan is *really* noisy -- even at idle -- much noisier than the GF6800 the card replaced. Very disappointing in that regard. Should probably have read more reviews. Maybe some other vendors work harder to make a quiet card.

Great card. Good replacement for Dell Dimension 4550
Pros: Works fine for DirectX 9. Seems like a great replacement where you are limited to an AGP card but you want good graphics.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: I replaced my ATI All-In-Wonder Pro 9000 with this card and it performs MUCH better than the ATI card when considering graphics. I put this in my Dell Dimension 4550 along with a Thermaltake 100 500W power supply. The higher capacity power supply is necessary if you want the full potential of this card.

Great Card
Pros: Great Card. Runs all games fast, bought for COD4 and it runs great now. The difference over my old card is huge. One of the best for an older computer with AGP.
Cons: Originally did not work on initial install but after I reinstalled it it worked fine.
Other Thoughts: Newegg is the best. I originally got the wrong card which wouldnt fit in my MOBO and they helped me exchange it for this one even though that one had a no refund policy.
System: Dell Dimension 4600, Intel P4 2.4gz processor, 3gb RAM, 80gb WD 7200 HD, 160GB Seagate 7200 HD, Evga 7600GS Video Card, Creative Zen Sound Card, Westinghouse 22" Monitor

Great card!
Pros: Works as advertised, UT2004 looks and plays great on my old system.
Cons: Wont play UT3 without giving me a strobing headache. Not the cards fault, my system is over 4 years old. Fan on card is louder than my previous Video card.
Other Thoughts: My system is a P4 2.4 HPT and is not enough horsepower for this card and newer games. My wife will inherit this system for her endeavors (email + web + light image editing). Time to build a new computer.

2 for 2 dead
Pros: none
Cons: Two dead cards, one after another.
Other Thoughts: The second card at least allowed me to post on vga port only so I could see a bunch of video garbage before it died completely. Ordered a 7600GS to replace this which worked perfect right out of the box.

Great affordable Graphic Card
Pros: Simple plug and play, software made it simple to locate and work first time through.
Cons: none yet
Other Thoughts: My 5 yr old system couldn't keep up with today's games or my photography editing software so I was looking for a slight upgrade before I purchase a new PC. Very happy with this card, best bang for the buck that's for sure

GeForce 7600GS AGP
Pros: Easy Installation (reading the reviews posted here and elsewhere helped greatly) This graphics card was installed in a Dell Dimension 4550 - replaced an FX 5500 - and I am finally able to run Call of Duty 4. What fun! Newegg shopping is easy and the shipment was fast.
Cons: None yet.
Other Thoughts: I'm a rookie at computer upgrading and I'm amazed at how easy it really is even with little experience. The web has provided me with enough technical information (to be dangerous) to get more life out of my old cpu.

DOA
Pros: Cheap card
Cons: Again...Cheap card, you get what you paid for.
Other Thoughts: I got the card and everything worked perfectly at first. Until I tried to game with it. Graphics jumbled up. I updated my drivers and graphics were still jumbled. I underclocked it to death and still messed up graphics. Just rma'd it. Hope this was just a defective card.

Good Value for AGP Systems
Pros: Cheap, atleast cheaper than building a whole new system. Plays most games including Gears of War PC which is what I bought it for primarily. Simple to install and get running. Overall does what I expected.
Cons: Probably could get a faster card for the same amount of money if you could use PCI-E 16x. Not going to run current games on high detail settings with a great framerate.
Other Thoughts: I bought this video card to upgrade my system to play Gears of War. I hadn't upgraded and kept my card upgraded for years, but this one I'll keep till this AGP system is replaced.
AMD Athlon 64 3200+ (socket 939) 1GB DDR400 Dual Channel Enabled
I get a playable framerate in GoW with a mixture of Medium and High detail settings at 1024x768x32. In low populated scenes the framerate can float around 40 to 50, in dense populated scenes it can dip to around 18fps. I don't consider this poor considering the Xbox 360 version is capped at 30fps max, and also suffers framerate drops. I would like to upgrade in the future though to enjoy a better framerate, but this card will get the job done until then.

Cool 'n Cool
Pros: With low power consumption, the card just fit into my SFF pc(iDEQ 200W PS). No worry about heat dissipation. It was not really warm even after running 3dmark. Am pretty satisfied with adequate graphics performance with reasonable price too.
Cons: None so far....
Other Thoughts: Always Newegg did a super job done for quickest Delivery....

I can read this, so it must be working
Pros: The card seemed to be a good value. I figured this was about the best I could do for AGP with my system.
Cons: I do seem to get more crashes playing Hitman: Blood Money than I used to with my old card. However . . .
Other Thoughts: I am able to play games now at 1024x768 with high graphics settings that I used to have to tune down just to be able to play them. Hitman was jerky at 800x600 low settings, but now runs smoothly at 1024x768 with shadows and stuff. UT3 still crushes my system, though, even at the lowest settings. I suspect more memory (main system, not video) might help me out. Hope so, anyway.

Great but
Pros: Great price & quality when in need of agp card.
The card suddenly died on me about a week ago and I've had it for about 8 months. Before dying, it was great, worked great and did what I needed. Waiting on Newegg.com to send a replacement (was under the 1 yr warranty)
Cons: Died quickly

One worked, one died
Pros: Good card when it works. Decent price, works in older AGP systems
Cons: Ordered two, one worked great, no issues at all. The other gave me trouble from the beginning. Computer froze after installing. Worked ok for a day or two, then starting freezing and not booting. Installed it in a different computer and same thing. Than starting getting flickering lines. Guess I will have to warranty it out. Disappointed
Other Thoughts: I don't seem to get too many DOA parts, so I guess it is bound to happen sometime

Great
Pros: Great Card. Plays America's Army and Call of Duty 4 on 70-80 FPS on High Settings. Keeps a cool temperature and realy is a great card for AGP.
Cons: None Yet.
Other Thoughts: I had some troubles because I didn't uninstall my old card which made me Recover my PC but thats my fault. Also I bought this when the price was down at about $74, so by it now or it might go up more.

Great Card
Pros: Great Board for my older Mobo. Installation was easy. Fired right up. Make sure to plug in power plug. Runs older games on highest settings. Doom3, UT2004. Even ran UT3 demo on moderate settings. Installed in a Asus p4g8x,w/ P4 over-clocked to over 3.0 ghz, w/ 2 gigz ram
Cons: None yet
Other Thoughts: 80 bucks after rebate, cant beat that for my money.

Pros: Good, cheapish card for those still using AGP.
Cons: Nvidia driver doesn't seem to work in Linux. Tried Kubuntu & Mandriva. Hardly Newegg's fault tho. Just be careful if you're buying this for a Linux machine. YMMV, naturaly.

The best option for a dying platform
Pros: Good deal - gets 4.3 on Vista meter. It is a great value for a family machine (mostly used for playing online games, watching TV and DVD's). comes with DVI-VGA converter and other cables.
Cons: AGP card bought for a mobo with AGP. Needs its own power supply
Other Thoughts: Make sure you balance between performance and quality. Emphasizing quality can result in shaky motion. Emphasizing performance led to slightly blurry TV experience. the middle ground is perfrect for watching TV using Vista on my 24" monitor

Works Great in Linux
Pros: I bought this because my old 9800pro was unable to display 2 1280x1024 monitors in Linux. this can obviously handle all the eyecandy that I can throw at it in Ubuntu 7.10. Installed in an Asus a7v880 board with an Athlon XP 3200+ processor and it has worked flawlessly. No problems experienced with dual monitors in Windows either, although it has only been used in windows for ~4hrs.
Cons: None

Premium Price for AGP
Pros: Works great and installs fine and fairly fast for mid to upper-mid older Pentium 4 3.0Ghz system (son's computer).
Cons: Still somewhat maxed out playing Microsoft Flight simulator.
Other Thoughts: Very high price premium for AGP card. Much faster cards can be bought for PCI-E for the same price.

Working right out of the box
Pros: I load the drive from the CD and away I went. Been funning fun since.
Cons: None really, it is older tectonically but if you don't like it...upgrade your MOBO.
Other Thoughts: I did not to upgrade the MOBO when my boys bought me a new 22 inch monitor. This card drives the video just find. I have maps that I study and the map load find and I can move then around the screen with no lag.

Great AGP card for the cost
Pros: Great card for great price. Worked right out of the box. Runs WoW at 40-50fps at high-medium at a constant level not OCed. Could probably run everything at high with same fps rate if I OC it.
Cons: Card seems to be a big huge can't screw it in with the stock screws my case came with. Nothing a little duck tape can't fix though. Fans a bit loud. But that doesn't really bother me.
Other Thoughts: After struggling with an ATI card and it's drivers. I decided to get this card. I'm EXTREMELY satisfied with this card and it's easy installment.

Pros: This video card works great, plays all the older games with no problem. Huge upgrade from my old card.

A good AGP card, just know you'll probably be bottlenecked
Pros: Offers good value for the money. Can run Gears of War at Medium settings very easily. Comes with the needed power cables in case you need them.
Cons: Since this is an AGP card for AGP systems, chances are you WILL be bottlenecked by your CPU. (got this instead of the 7600 GT as I had a feeling this card would be bottlenecked)
Other Thoughts: Even with the bottleneck, it still offered a huge boost in performence compared to my older X700 Pro. So for aging AGP systems, this is your best bet. There may be more powerful AGP cards out there, but chances are you'll get the same performence out of them as you will with this one if your CPU is the bottleneck. And if not then the minor difference in performence doesn't justify spending a lot more money.

Wonderful card
Pros: Easy install. Absolutely no problems. I'll never buy ATI again. Fits nicely in a standard case (duh). Great shipping service as always from Newegg!
Cons: None so far. No issues whatsoever.
Other Thoughts: This card vastly outperforms the ATI dog I replaced (Radeon 800 - 256Mb). It's given new life to an aging AGP system. I spent a lot of time looking before I bought. I have 350W power supply.

EVGA 7600GS works great!
Pros: Plays all new games like Bioshock, Prey, Fear, The Orange Box, Stranglehold, Lost Planet, and Neverwinter Nights 2..etc, without a hitch. I had to turn down some of the shading on some of the newer games and played just fine. The performance of this card is right up there with the Nvidia 8500 and 8600 Series without the DX10. So, if you are playing on an old AGP system and are looking to upgrade your vid card, look no further. This is it.
Cons: It doesn't make me pizza.
Other Thoughts: EVGA makes a great product.

Nice Card
Pros: Inexpensive, easy to install, is exactly what I was looking for.
Cons: UPS Blows!!!
Other Thoughts: I bought this card mostly to upgrade the old 5200 I had (which I bought from Newegg) so I could have better performance in WoW. I know I could have spent more money for an even better experience but I am extremely satisfied. I also went to fries yesterday and found the same card at the price I would have paid including shipping and tax at Newegg.
My Ubuntu install already had the drivers from my previous GeForce card, so it as easy as open the case, drop the card in, plug the extra power cable in, and done.
My only negative is UPS Guaranteed 3-day is more like a guide than a rule because it took them 7 days to get it to me. Newegg had the card to them the next day after purchase. Yet another reason I will be a Newegg shopper for life.

Surprise
Pros: Decent graphics and certainly better than the ATI 9800 it replaced.
Cons: With the card fully seated in the AGP slot, the metal mounting bracket stands above the case a quarter of an inch.
Other Thoughts: Antec SOHO server case with Intel motherboard. Nothing weird here and the ATI card fit perfectly. It appears EVGA has a quality control problem.

Works, but drivers are a problem
Pros: it works, and the price is right. cheap upgrade for an older machine. Plays games at 1280X1024 much better then the 5200 it replaced, higher FPS and 4X antialiasing
Cons: I installed the latest nVidia drivers from nVidia and they failed. All was messed up - machine ran in 640X480 16 colors ! You must install the drivers from the EVA site which are one or two revs back from current, but they work. Once you install the EVA version of the drivers / installer, the PC then asks about installing a new device. Never mind I had a nVidia 5200 in the machine already with reasonably current drivers. worked out in the end.

nice one
Pros: Powerful enough for a final AGP upgrade. It runs all of my games at 1280x1024 quite well.
Cons: It *requires* a 4-pin molex connection...which I find hard to believe. I'm pretty sure the PCI-e versions of the 7600GS and GT pull all of the power straight from the PCI-e bus, and other 7600GS cards for AGP get all they need from the AGP bus...but whatever.
Other Thoughts: I got my old computer from some dude's mom who passed away, so it's already pretty weak. It has an old 1.8 GHz P4 and only 512MB of ram, so the videocard is pretty bottlenecked.

The little card that couldn't
Pros: EVGA tech support was very good. Easy to deal with. The driver program was really easy as well and had a very clean looking package when running.
Cons: The card I recieved was doomed from birth. It would run but even at the startup screen would jumble everything and flicker. On another note it is a cheap looking card as well.
Other Thoughts: Just spend $30 more and get a better card by a better company. It was what I should have done in the first place. Hindsight they say...

Nice for the price
Pros: Worked right out of the box.
Cons: Device drivers on CD were out of date. Easily fixed by downloading the newest drivers from Nvidia's website.

Pros: None that I can see
Cons: Does NOT work with my motherboard MSI KT6V VIA KT600 unless DRAM timing is set to the slowest setting(generic options in the BIOS/CMOS). Boots and does a partial POST of BIOS, but stops. Not Newegg's faut, but I wish I had known before I threw my money away on a paperweight...
Other Thoughts: If only I had a motherboard that worked with this card....

Other Thoughts: This is an updated review. I threw out the original packaging after a few months, and now I can't RMA. I guess I'll know better next time.

Good Extension for AGP Board
Pros: Good price. Supports Shaders my previous card didn't. Runs Gears of War for PC with a playable framerate on good detail settings.
Cons: Not the best card out there. But you'll have to spend alot more money to get something much better for AGP.
Other Thoughts: AGP is dead and what is left is horribly expensive. But this card is affordable and capable. It will help you get that last bit of life out of your AGP system before retiring it for PCI Express. I bought it primarily to play Gears of War and it does it well. Medium detail and usually running 25fps or higher. Great since the Xbox version was capped at 30fps anyway.

Awesome video card
Pros: Performs very nicely. It is very quiet and unnoticeable. This was a huge step up from my GeForce 5200, I am able to play current games like Bioshock on high settings, and videos display crystal clear. As always Newegg ships fast.
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: This is a great update to an old AGP system. I would highly recommend this card to anyone looking for a good AGP card, both for the price and the performance.

Everything I Need
Pros: This sweet deal of a card replaced my 6200. Installed very easily. I am of somewhat average technical knowhow and this is the first card I owned that I needed to plug a molex connector into. Not a big deal, just takes some wiggling. After I got that sorted out the card's been humming along fine ever since, rock steady 60 degrees C. I can run Hellgate London on a higher resolution than the default now! I've also set everything on 'high' and it plays well (around 30 fps, 50+ indoors). Not so much on 'very high' but hey this is AGP what do you want.
Cons: None, other than my own low technical knowledge. But, it was a good learning experience. Also, I wanted the XFX 7600 GT initially but someone must have ordered the last one in stock like 2 minutes before I ordered mine. Curse you!!! :)
Other Thoughts: This card arrived the day after I ordered it because I live in Southern California, but it just speaks to Newegg's SUPER fast turn around time in shipping the product. These are the first PC parts I've ever bought from the Egg and I'll never buy PC parts anywhere else again.

Saved my LOTRO Experience
Pros: Great performance (though not thoroughly taxed)
Cons: DualView Software lacks functions that I would wish for
Other Thoughts: I needed a new card to replace my GeForce FX 5200 as I play Lord Of The Rings Online and a recent update to provide direct x 10 support made any fx 5200 series cards show their terrible performance. After running 1-13 FPS for a week, the new card was installed and I now exceed 70 FPS most of the time.

Fantastic !!
Pros: Great Card. Poor ATI...
Cons: It was not free...
Other Thoughts: If you have an AGP system with a good power supply...It is great I am happy. Runs FSM X like I am at the movies..

might have been nice
Pros: worked in my xp pro machine, is agp 8x (a dying breed)
Cons: the evga and the nvidia forceware drivers crashed my vista x64 installation on startup no matter what I tried. I could not even get to the desktop with it to see how it performed with vista's new aero desktop and FX which is what i bought it for. Gave me very marginally better performance on xp pro machine which was using a 3 year old ATI fire GL X1.
Other Thoughts: I didn't have high expectations of the card, I just wanted it to run the vista desktop nicely, no extreme gaming or anything. But it could even handle that.

great video card
Pros: This is a great card, about a year ago when i bought it my psu couldn't really handle this card but i found a awesome n cheap one and now my computer is running some pretty high end games with high settings. if your on the fence about this card think no longer.
Cons: I wish i had another one and motherboard that ran sli this would be amazing!
Other Thoughts: Would be a great SLI card if thats what your going for, i read reviews in gaming magazines and they're running that on some games highest settings

pure awesome
Pros: Pure awesomeness. Instantly i saw a difference given that i'm using a pre-built computer thats almost 7 years old. Huge jump over old card. i think its alot more power than i need but what the heck, the price isnt too bad for a major upgrade. I had one HD file on my computer and the display is crystal clear. No lag on the video either. absolutely love it.
Cons: i wish i had waited a day to buy it, i literally bought it the last day of the previous rebate deadline and now i only get 15 bucks back. ah well, i'm still VERY satisfied.
Other Thoughts: newegg rocks said and done. because i live in southern cali, my package basically arrives next day. LOVE IT!

Good video card upgrade for older system
Pros: Used this to replace a 4+ year old GForce 4000 series 2X AGP card. The install was straightforward and this went fine (see note below in Other Thoughts). This upgrade did give a noticeable improvement for running games and is worthwhile if you want to upgrade and old system and not spend $1000 to do it.
Cons: None yet. Very satisified.
Other Thoughts: When I installed the card I had troubles with getting the video drivers to be recognized in W-XP-SP2. This was NOT a problem with the EVGA card or their software BUT with the previous 64 MB card I had in the system. That video driver card software had locked the registry for editing. I called the EVGA tech support and had to go to Level 2 support to get to the cause and they found it AND they even spoke English! EVGA support was EXCELLENT! Thanks... I was so impressed with the product and the support that I just purchased a new system and got the EVGA 512MB PCI Superclocked card thru NewEgg for that system. Very satisified and impressed with both Newegg and EVGA...

Excellent Card - Vista Compatible
Pros: The first item to note is that I am not a gamer. I did not purchase this card for DirectX 10 Capabilities (which it does NOT have).
I purchased this card in order to match it with a PCI Video card and give myself the capability of having up to 4 monitors (multiple
monitors). My System Board has an AGP slot, no PCI Express Slots. Since I'm not a gamer, this is a non-issue. Based on other
reviews and the good price, I chose this card. The companion PCI Card I chose was a EVGA 256-P1-N399-LX GeForce 6200. Please see
Other Thoughts for more valuable information on Vista and Dual / Multi / Multiple Monitors. There is a 7900 Series AGP card that is about fifty dollars more which, according to the information available, almost doubles the speed capabilities. Again, I'm not a gamer, and therefore had no need for the higher end card.
Cons: I believe S-Video Output built directly into the Card would be better than Component Video Output.
Other Thoughts: I tested it it with built in Vista Drivers and NVidia Drivers from Nov 2007 and it worked flawlessly. In order to utilize the full capabilities of Vista, including the AERO Interface, Microsoft REQUIRES Video Cards to use the same Family of Drivers for multiple cards (Please read: http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/device/display/multimonVista.mspx for more information). If you only have an AGP Slot (IE, no PCI Express) don't use an ATI Card in Vista, unless you only need two monitors. Please note, I've used ATI exclusivly for more than 15 years. The reason is that it's impossible. Specifically, only the 9200 Series and UP Drivers are available on the ATI site for Vista. The problem is that there are NO PCI Cards with an ATI chip beyond the 7xxx Series. The only drivers for a 7xxx Series chip are built into Vista, the 7xxx and 92xx and up Series are not in the same "Family", and therefore will not work together in Vista. Hopefully this will save someone the time I spent on this.

Good Card-Aging standard
Pros: Good card, installed the latest drivers from the site(don't ever bother with the driver that come with graphic cards cd's). Worked the first time and worked just as exspected. Newegg also delivered on time, as usual.
Cons: Nothing unless you have a pci-exspress slot on your motherboard. In which case find a different one. With this product I have had no problems yet.
Other Thoughts: AGP is aging as a standard but I did not want to upgrade my system yet. Sometimes cards say they have a fan in the picture but they don't come with one. This one did, read the discription carfully, don't reliy on the picture.

nice card
Pros: Very nice budget card. Old 6800 gt got fried, needed a card real quick, so i got this one. And i'm glad i did. was able to play Oblivion, WoW and Counter-strike all at full settings (oblivion had a little lag).
Cons: Didn't buy from newegg, paid $150 at circuit city :(

sweet
Pros: upgraded from geforce 6100, used to run counter strike:source at 640x480 lowest settings 35fps, now I can run 1024x768 highest settings 40fps or 1280x1024 highest settings 30fps overclocked.
Cons: if you lower anywhere under 1024x768 for gaming purposes, and lower settings, your gfx will get crappier but your fps wont get higher
Other Thoughts: best vid card i've ever had...cause I'm cheap and didn't want to spend more than $100

Snow Channel of Death
Pros: It was quite the step up from my FX5500 even with the same amount of memory. With the 7600GS I could play the Bioshock demo on full graphics. It was a little choppy turned up like that, but I was expecting much less performance. Battlefield 2142 ran smoothly with the maximum viewing distance and not minimum other settings. (And I only have a P4 2.4GHz with 1.5GB of RAM.)
Cons: One fine day while reading email, both monitors switched to the snow channel. It was a rerun, so I rebooted gracefully. Upon the reboot I had no signal to either monitor. The card was dead. It seems I'm not the only case of the card toasting. In my case it was after a little over a month of use.
Other Thoughts: I dragged my heels calling EVGA, but when I finally did they had me send it in for a replacement for the cost of shipping to them. It will be arriving at my door tomorrow. Hopefully I don't see a repeat. Still, EVGA has great customer service if you press enough buttons to get past the automated phone machine thing.

Great Upgrade
Pros: I'm not a heavy gamer but some games came out (Heroes V, WoW) that I wanted to try and my old card (Matrox G400) couldn't handle. Plays Heroes V at 1600x1200 with max details and looks great. I'm not sure of fps but on this type of game it's not as big a deal as it is with a first person shooter. Glad I got it!
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: I was deciding between this and the 7600GT and I'm glad I saved my cash with this because it is all I need. Works fine in a AGP 4X 2.0 slot computer.

Most pleased
Pros: Easy to install. Tech support is actually in CA, so they are easy to understand. It took me all of 10 minutes to replace the bad card.(from registering to shipping)
Cons: After 6 months use, it went on the fritz.
Other Thoughts: Sent it in for a replacement and they upgraded me to the 7800GS. The ease of which my malfunctioning card was replaced has made me a future customer of EVGA for all of my video cards.

Nice!
Pros: Installed easily, no problems. Much better then my old TI4200.
Cons: Will not work with "Stubbs the Zombie" game, but is fantastic with "Company of Heroes"!
Other Thoughts: I overclocked it & burned it up ... I will not be overclocking my next one. Just ordered a 7800GS 'cause it will play "Stubbs the Zombie"!!

Great budget card
Pros: Easy install, stable drivers, fantastic results, and a great price too.
Cons: Sucks up juice, so make sure your budget computer has a power supply that can support it.
Other Thoughts: I bought this as the "final hoorah" for my old AGP budget gaming computer. It has worked great so far in buying more time before having to buy a whole new computer! (Currently an AMD 64 socket 754 w/ DDR RAM and, of course, AGP 8x slot)

Good quiet reliable card !
Pros: I have two of these in two different computers. I do gaming on both machines. This video does more than a decent job for gaming. The game settings can be set high enough for very good game play. You may not be able to set the game settings as high as a 8800, but this card is more than adequate for 3D rendering. Both the cards I have run very quiet and never get over 50C even when playing for several hours. In fact right now just doing regular computing the temp on the card is under 30C. Overall a good card for a reasonable price, I recommend it completely.
Cons: The first card was defective for 3D rendering and would crash or cause artifacts. EVGA promptly exchanged the card. The new card works great.
Other Thoughts: The card is not overly big....and one nice thing about this card it doesn’t draw a large amount of power, like the GT version or a higher end card. EVGA recommends a 400 watt, people have gotten away with 300 to 350 watt power supplies. My machines have at least 500 watts so they run without a hitch.

Excellent upgrade
Pros: This was an excellent upgrade to my aging AMD 2.4 GHz system. Gives smooth framerates in Shattrath City and in instance fights. (30 fps at 1600x1200, 32 bit, aniso)
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: Not so good as the 8800GTS in the wife's computers (60fps, above settings), but a solid card. Recommended.

Pros: Very good Card. I use Ubuntu Linux and this card worked perfectly. I used Envy to install the drivers. I have a 295Power Supply on a P4 2.6. This card works great on XP also. Much better than my old Radeon 9000, and Radeon 9800Pro.
Cons: None so far.

My EVGA purchase was a BIG MISTAKE…
Pros: It works when it does...
Cons: This is a defective card with back plate attached a tenth of an inch to the right of correct point on card’s edge causing the plate to stay away from the plane of screw hole in the PC case. This results in sporadic loss of display and requires reseating of card.
Other Thoughts: NewEgg was prepared to exchange only for similar product due to my being over 30 days limit (NewEgg, as usual, rules), so contacted EVGA RMA about displaced back plate. First two emails, the EVGA tech support person told me to get with NewEgg. When I asked him his reason for refusing replacement, he asked me to send over “pictures” of card so he could forward to his supervisors for their consideration. When I told him I would put his absurd suggestion in my review on NewEgg, he asked me to RMA the card and he would exchange it. The exchanged card was identical to the defective card, and had same displaced back plate problem. The tech suggested my PC case was the wrong size. I told him the PC case was just fine, and it accommodated other videocards perfectly. When I told the tech that EVGA had wasted my time and money doing the RMA, and asked him for my further options, other than being stuck with their card, the tech eclipsed out and never responded again. Nor would his supervi

Good card Good price
Pros: Very good graphics card for a very good price. This card will give ne some more life out of the old AGP graphics slot. Works great with my Samsung 20 inch LCD display. However the only really graphics intense game I've played so far is UT2004, but with the settings all the way up. It looked and played great. Drivers installed perfectly and everything worked right out of the box.
Cons: Nothing so far.

Quality gaming
Pros: Breathes new life into AGP-based systems, stable driver set from nVIDIA. On-board cooling fan, easy install.
Cons: Some older systems may need to upgrade the power supply as this card requires connection to power.
Other Thoughts: I bought this card for Flight Simulator 2004. Wow! Nice visuals, no stutters, max settings. Good fun.
