One of the best video cards I've ever owned.
Pros: Excellent all-around performance in a single-slot design.
Cons: May run a little warm in some cases.
Other Thoughts: I bought this card last year and I've all the heavy-duty games on it (Crysis, Dragon Age Origins, Mass Effect 2, etc) without any problems. I'm running a GTS 250 in my second box and this card definitely keeps pace with it (the specs aren't too far off).
I've owned a lot of video cards in my time and this is one of the best I've used. The single-slot design is plus and a minus; for mid tower cases the card may run a bit warm but it's stable. If anyone is looking for an incredible value in a graphics card you'd be hard-pressed to find a better GPU. Highly recommended.

A mile long card but worth it
Pros: Good performance, and of course a spacious bit of memory there. The most I've put it through has been Fallout 3, Dragon Age, L4D, TF2, etc. Of course EVE doesn't even dent it. I do a lot of graphics work and that's why I wanted the 1GB. Well about 75 layers in Photoshop CS4 on a large resolution poster later and I'm not really having problems.
Cons: Do some careful measuring before you install it. I can't install 2 more harddrives I have the slots for because I've got this in a mid tower. However, it will fit in most mids. Just measure. Raidmax Tornado case.
Other Thoughts: Haven't really used the software that came with it, allowing you to adjust the clock speeds and fan speed, but it's simple enough.

Awesome Card (as i drool)
Pros: Great card. Fast with high quality. Really good price.
Cons: Hard to install for those less technicaly savy. Causes a small annoying problem where Fallout 3 shuts off and gives a (send/don't send) error.

Great Grapics Card
Pros: Graphics card and driver updates went flawlessly. I do not have any demanding games for graphics really, It plays EVE no problems. I know counter strike is an old game, but it was still funny when I did the graphics test and the results stated I was running at 258 FPS, lol. Very happy with the card so far!
Cons: None as of yet.
Other Thoughts: I hope Newegg gets more of these in stock, I want to run it in SLI! Also Newegg and UPS rock when it came to processing and shipping my order! I ordered all the parts for my new build at once. I chose three day ground by UPS. I live in a rural community in Nevada and am used to long waits. From the time I placed my order it took a little less than 48 hrs for everything to arrive on my doorstep and that was during the snowstorms of last week!

Things Look Good
Pros: Dual DVI is a bonus, but expected for this generation, I guess.
Good casual / intermediate gaming card. Handles full visual settings for most games I've tried.
Cons: None

Works Great!
Pros: Very excited when I got it. I installed it and my games ran so much better my PC rating went up by 3. It was a big upgrade for me. This is a really great card.
Cons: A little pricey. For a few bucks cheaper I could have bought a ECS Black Series GeForce GTS 250 with 1GB. Its a little bit better, but not a whole lot.
Other Thoughts: Going to buy another someday and SLI.

Awesome upgrade
Pros: This card runs Crysis and Crysis Warhead at highest settings at 1280x1024 (no AA, obviously) with an average of about 20 FPS...beautiful. I have also been able to enjoy the excellent multiplayer Crysis Wars with settings maxed out. I bought this card to replace my faithful but obsolete 8400, and WOW, was it an upgrade! It also runs Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, Far Cry 2, and SC Double Agent all on the highest settings perfectly. I had to play Assassin's Creed at a pitiful Med-Low settings at 800x600 to get decent framerates with the 8400, and now it runs perfectly. My Windows Experience gaming graphics score went from 3.5 to 5.9. The price was also very reasonable too.
Cons: Meh...none except that I was really surprised at the size of it. Some judicious rearranging of cables inside the case was required, but I could care less about that...
Other Thoughts: I was looking for a card that could run on 400W or less, because of my pathetic 400W PSU...needless to say, this card was perfect. Someday I'll get a new mobo and buy another one of these so I can SLI, and then things will be perfect. And thank you Newegg for the speedy delivery!

Amazing
Pros: It was very easy to install, only one hiccup in that process. When I got it in, I turned on the computer, and had only a blank screen, but I tried it again, and it has been working wonders ever since. I do love it, it plays just about anything, even with my very outdated rig.
Cons: It is a tid-bit louder than before, but it doesn't really bother me.

dont kno what i do
Pros: beautiful card very long...kinda heavy to be sitting sideways in a dell optiplex mid tower 745 series...thats the fat one not the skinny one... runnig on windows 7 on 8gigs o ram,, with this bad boy with all the back up vid card power on tap..plays call o duty modern warfare 2 on next to highest resolution...i think the card does my monitors native with ease,,which is a 42in vizio in rgb mode. hdmi is no laughing matter it coughs up some silly graphix for the price.. i am pleased 4eggs only
Cons: i have no spidf cord from my board to the vid card to get hdmi audio... i can run hdmi with out sound.. so at the moment i run rgb till i gets a new audio card...aint it one thing u cant buy something awesome till u replace all the other stuff around it...cant use this card to its full potential with out getn a sound card.... my prob really...
Other Thoughts: sucks that i got to get a new sound card just to use the hdmi to its fullest feature..... kinda wish it was in the description

I've been hard pressed to do better
Pros: I run an Antec HTPC with a very small case. This card fit, thankfully and it's been my gaming card ever since. I've overclocked it by 50mhz (gpu) and 100mhz (ram - 50mhz at double cycle for a 100mhz effective doubling) and it's performing well. I also half-block the fan with a Wireless N card; considering this, it stays cool and is a real workhorse. I refuse to upgrade until A, the GT300 is out and B, I get a larger case and move up to an i7. I might as well just keep this card in the HTPC case indefinitely. ALSO, it only takes up ONE SLOT! C'mon, you know that's rad.
Cons: I'm hard pressed to hate on this card, especially with the price now at 139. Of course, I paid more for it when I first got it... but that's NOT a con for this card, it's a PRO for YOU, the buyer who was more patient than me. The card is fairly long, about 8-9 inches, but it fit in my HTPC case, which surprised me. The only thing I don't like is that the fan is down near the input end of the card, which is why it's half-blocked by the Wireless N PCI card. If the fan was up near the other end, like the old 9800s... I wouldn't have that problem, y'know? I'm afraid to overclock it anymore than it already is, just because the fan is exactly half-way blocked by the wifi card. MEH.
Other Thoughts: I do a great deal more than just gaming with this card. I edit and design HD (1920x1080) videos for my band to post on the internet. I watch TV (using a TV tunner), in high def (720p / 1080i) and run a 4 monitor set up (using an Nforce board with a built in 9300 that powers two monitors, and this card that runs the other two). I enjoy this card immensely and it runs with low power needs. I have a 450w power supply running TWO 1TB drives, 8gb ram (ddr2), and a core2quad6600 with a TON of fans. Throw in the wireless N, hauppage dual TV tuner card, the VFD display on the front, optical BRD, External Raid array card and this video card... and you'd think that 450w wouldn't cut it. But it's been over a year and this build is still running strong. It's a work horse. The card hasn't fried by PSU yet so... I'm beginning to think it may never... knock on wood, heh.

Fantastic video card
Pros: Exceptional one-slot, low-power card that, like a previous reviewer put it, is exceptionally smooth. Runs the most modern games smoothly with no issues. I've had it in my case for the past five months and it's done a remarkable job.
Cons: Compared to more modern cards, the price may be daunting. However, the performance more than makes up for that.

quick & easy install
Pros: zero issues installing, fit perfect in my inspiron 545 mini-tower 9altho I did have to buyer a longer SATA cable); works fine with Windows 7.
Cons: price a little high for an older card IMO.
Other Thoughts: installed an OCZ 500W PSU with it (altho some say a 300W is fine, someone said a 600W should be used??!?!?!?)

Great Card
Pros: Where to begin... The rendering properties this thing is able to do is just fantastic. Using 2D/3D rendering programs (Animation Master, Autocad, etc.) this card performs its job extremely well. Gaming is also no problem for this card, where I average 150 fps full settings on Half-Life games, Flight Simulator, and Battlefield Europe at 1280x1024 resolution (not a fan of wide screens yet.) Temperatures are well regulated, and run an average of 40C, both idle and load.
Cons: Biggest complaint is no 3-way SLI. Currently running dual SLI with two of these. These are fairly large cards as well, so if you're limited on casing space, you might encounter problems, especially with dual SLI setup. Also, strongly recommend no less than a 600w power supply to power just one of these.
Other Thoughts: I'm currently running XP Pro 32 bit where the OS just simply cannot handle the full force of these cards. Hopefully, I'll be able to experience the cards full potential once I install Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. However, given my impressions so far, I am highly impressed, even with the limitations of my current OS.

GREAT INVESTMENT
Pros: This card is amazing!!!! All my steam games in highest settings no problem : Counter strike: source, Left 4 Dead, Team Fortress, Half life. Runs Aion really well, extremely recommend it. Great for the price.
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: Make sure you have space for it. i had to make some Minor Adjustments to a heat sink that was in the way of letting it sit correctly.

this is a great card
Pros: this card is easy to install even for a new user, i bought this card for my dad who likes to play world of warcraft, and with 2g of ram and a pentium dual core -cheap setup- all settings maxed with shadows getting about about 18fps in daleran, which is pretty decent if you know what im talking about -alot of things to load in daleran- and about an average of 30-60 out side of dal, but if you want to get the max frames turn of vsync -it limites your frames persecond to your refresh rate on your moniter- and turn off the shadows i was seing frams per second in daleran of over 30- and 222 fps in just normal world play, it also has a low power reqirement, mind you i dont like to overclock so i dont know much about that.
Cons: only thing is stated in other reviews but by now you know it is faily large card. but i had no issues
Other Thoughts: i fully recommend this great product from newegg.

I've finished Crysis twice on this card. It's that good.
Pros: Single-slot design and 1GB of DDR3 RAM are a plus. Performs very well in a variety of games.
Cons: A bit long.
Other Thoughts: While I'm sure the GTXs and 4890s of the world can run Crysis with nearly all settings enabled so can this card (in DX9 mode) . I've finished the game twice already with this card in box and I probably play it again.
What's not to like? It's single-slotted, outfitted with 1GB of DDR3 memory, and EVGA's Precision Utility make controlling the fan a breeze. For the price this is THE mid-range card to beat.

Beastly
Pros: Excellent GPU, so far has handled everything I've thrown at it flawlessly. 1GB of DDR3 memory makes it buttery smooth. I'm also a big fan of the EVGA Precision utility, it's very easy to control and overclock the card. Fan isn't too loud.
Cons: No HDMI port, but that's not an issue for my system.
Other Thoughts: Overall I'm very happy with this card. It's not the newest model out there but it works perfectly with my rig and I'm betting it can handle any of the games currently out there. Played Supreme Commander on the highest settings with a massive battle and it's extremely smooth. CPU - Intel Q9550 Mobo - ASUS P5Q Premium RAM - 8GB DDR2 GPU - EVGA 9800GT 1GB HD - 640GB WD Status - Beast mode

Fast, quiet, & cheap in a single slot
Pros: Price vs. performance. It's shorter than the GTX200 series cards, but still a relatively long card as some have pointed out. Go to EVGA's web site for full specs. Because of the RAID disks in my system, the long GTX series won't fit (sigh), but this one does.
Cons: NONE. Yes it has a fan. Unless your system is fanless, you won't notice any fan noise from this card. Besides, don't most gamers use headphones anyways?
Other Thoughts: My wife liked the cool EVGA stylized "E" logos in the sheet metal and told me this was the one she wanted to get me. Nothing says "I love you" better than getting a new Nvidia graphics card for your birthday! :-)

Black screen of death 2
Pros: Tests thus far indicate excellent performance on a single head using basic Linux drivers.
Cons: I tend to test all shipped parts. The 4-pin pig tail power adapter cable was bad and caused some angst, as without power no boot occurs. Used power adapter for PCI-E cable from power supply with success. It would be nice if docs indicated this clearly.
Other Thoughts: Certainly it is not worth returning the card over the bad pig tail power cable. Have not tested on windows, and may not.

Pros: Comes with free overclocking uttillity, and fraps which can record how many fps you get in games, easily take screenshots and things like that. Also comes with a free WOW game and 3D glasses. No problem with the installation. The fan keeps it nice and cool and of course the graphics look great. Has 1GB and SLI supported.
Cons: Its a little pricy for me. Seems like the game and 3D glasses are included into the price. I would've rather done without them and saved some money.
Other Thoughts: All in all its a great video card with lots of cool features. I'm glad that i chose this one for my computer.

Great
Pros: Great starting out GPU. I bought one and was able to play crysis at some high settings. Runs dual monitors at 1080 p flawlessly.
Cons: Big. Fan speed is glitchy especially on the OC software. The Overclocked "super clocked" settings are not very special. I got blue screen of death trying to push it to 675 core speed. Idles at 49 C when in CoD4 it flys up to 71 C.
Other Thoughts: I am going to buy 2 more of these for a 3 way SLI in order to get more performance while running dual monitors.

D.O.A
Pros: -Seems like a good amount of tech for the price.
Cons: Large, rested right on top of two sata ports making inaccessible on my standard sized atx mobo.
Other Thoughts: It is likely a very good Vid. card, I just happened to get a bad one and it didn't really fit with my mobo. EVGA is a great company to work with. Also, Newegg processed my RMA quickly and I had my new Vid. Card in about 9 days.

Black screen of death
Pros: None - does not work out of box
Cons: Installed into new system with Asus P6T-SE motherboard. Beeps indicated video card issue. Tried older EVGA 7600 card with success. Registered card a evga.com/24-7 and support page would not let me create problem report. Called 888 number and got message they are off today. No 24-7 here on Labor day.
Other Thoughts: It is possible that this card will not boot in a system without and OS present and a bios upgrade. However, that should be clearly stated on this site and in the documentation, if such is so.

Excellent!
Pros: 1GB of DDR3 memory makes games creamy-smooth, I played the Crysis demo with High/Very High settings with no hiccups whatsoever, 40 frames per second and it looked absolutely stunning! I was seriously underestimating this beast! I upgraded from a PNY Geforce 9500GT and the difference is astounding!
Cons: Runs a bit warm but not bad, and that's from stock cooling. It's pretty long too so make sure you have enough room in your case! It fit perfectly in mine so I don't consider it a con.
Other Thoughts: The 3d glasses that it came with were made of cardboard and hurt my eyes. It was a fun little addon but I don't think I'll use it again. Free WoW though, I might give it to a friend.

Runs Cool and Stable (Passively too!)
Pros: I purchased this card for my Zalman "fanless" case (TNN-500AF). Using an Intel Core-2-Quad Q6700 CPU, I put full stress on the GPU and CPU using Folding@Home programs. The EVGA 9800 GT card reach a temp of 55C, and the CPU reach a temp of 64C. It's been running like this 24/7 for three days now. No problems at all, and the video card runs cooler than I expected. It has a smaller GPU (55nm) than a 8800 card. You have to modify the card in order to install it in the Zalman fanless case. I upgraded from a BFG Tech 8600 GTS card, and I notice an increase in game smoothness (higher fraps). The long length of the card takes up the whole width of an ATX motherboard. The heatsink-walls of the Zalman case has no problems at all convecting the heat of this card. I also put copper heatsinks on the 1 Gig of memory.
Cons: This really isn't a con, but it can be perceived as one: I'd rather have the stock cooling fan exhaust air out the back of the card, rather than back into the case. However, the latter method is better, just as long as you have good case ventilation (especially good exhaust fans).
Other Thoughts: The 9600 GT takes the TNN-500AF case to the "fanless limit". I'm very pleased with it's sound stability and low-price! EVGA and Newegg rocks big time!!! I wanted a processor that would equal or exceed the G200 processor, and the EVGA 9800 GT superclocked video card does just that! It put my personal quest for a powerful fanless computer on track!

Pros: Awesome card! Upgraded from a 7600 and the difference is obvious. Can play Crysis (demo) on very high at a decent fps, only thing I think is holding me back is my processor, upgrading that next. Came with Call of Duty World at War, plays flawlessly. Card overclocks well and has not exceeded 73 degrees C. Recommend this card, good bang for the buck.
Cons: None?

Underrated
Pros: I love it. I can now play my games on maxed out detail, with 4x AF and 16x AF at 1440x900 (my monitor's native res.) It runs very cool for a single slot card, at a very respectable 37C idle / 65C load @ 2 hours. It gives very nice framerates in current games such as CoD5 and Warcrack. Also works very nice for Photoshop CS4.
Cons: It's a long card. You better make sure you have room in your case before you buy it and remember the power connector goes in the side, not the top as with some 9800's. The gift games arrived the day before the card did so I couldn't play them right off, but that's not really a con because the card came in next day :)
Other Thoughts: Once again, very speedy shipping from Newegg, thanks! I will be egging again soon. For someone who doesn't have a 200 series in their budget, or who doesn't want to buy a new PSU just to power the thing, this is a great card to buy. Also, it's single slot, so it doesn't take up 2 of your PCI slots, great if you're running low on case space. I think the card might be mis-speced on here. The box says OpenGL 3.0 support, but I haven't tested that yet. So, that said, if you're thinking of a 200 series but can't get past the sticker shock, give this card a try. You will be happy you did.

Pros: very good graphics card, definitely worth it if you dont want to wait for a 200 series to come down in price
Cons: none thus far
Other Thoughts: first time buying an EVGA manufactured card, very pleased with it, and not as loud as some have said, but then again i have 4 120mm fans that are louder

9800 GT Under-rated
Pros: First, for everyday computing; SWEET! Crisp fast display. Get yourself a top notch monitor and you will have eliminated eye fatigue. It is like butter sooo smooth. For movies unbelievable, did I mention SMOOTH? For game play; it plays Cyrsis on high 54fps, Assassin's Creed on full graphics, same for COD3, Left for Dead. Also 64-bit drivers are not a problem EVGA updates constantly.
Cons: For SLI you better check if your board has the room. The card is fat and long. But the good news I do not see the need for SLI with this card. It is everything it says it is. As far as temp and fan noise goes the harder you play the faster the fan goes. Duh! At Idle it is quiet.
Other Thoughts: This is an under rated card I see a good deal of snotty geeks spouting Bench marks and touting some expensive latest and greatest elitist Garf, sure the GTX-275 is great, but is it that great? Twice the cost? Come on! Look get two of these if you got the money to spend, plug it into a 64-bit with a bunch O ram, go SLI if you are a Hard core gamer, but you don't need to. This card ROCKS for the money!

Better than 8800
Pros: This card is far way better than 8800gt evga 512. CoD included, max settings (22" native) with no lag at all. It fits in shuttle xpc.
Cons: Runs hot inside that case but it works very well under stress for hours.
Other Thoughts: Shuttle xpc with silent-x 300w powersupply. Core 2 Duo 3ghz, 4gb ddr 800.

Another fine piece of work from EVGA
Pros: Great looking unit! It's from EVGA, what's not to like? 1GB on board memory is pretty sweet for 3D design in Cinema 4D. Plus, it's running perfectly on Windows 7 RC 64-bit!
Cons: As others have stated, it does have a loud fan. I noticed (for my computer) that when I took the door off that it got quieter. I should point out that the loudness only really happens when I am playing a game when the GPU is under high demand.
Other Thoughts: So far so good! It is pretty long so make sure you have room in your case! I have been using the EVGA Precision program and noticed that it doesn't go above 70 Celcius when I'm playing high level graphics games. The unit's highest operating temp is 105 degrees Celcius. So I figure I'm good as far as that goes.

good card
Pros: It can pretty much handle anything I throw at it. I use this game for COD-WAW and it doesn't EVER lag on full settings.
Cons: It is a long card.

Good card for a good price and Size
Pros: This card is awesome it plays The sims 3 and all of my other games when running fraps the frames went higher than my monitor supports I think it was idling at 142 fps when just standing in one spot and about 70-90 fps moving the camera which is pretty good for a single slot card when I have the fan speed at 52% it idles at 45-48c when playing the sims 3 it goes to 58-63c the fan can get kind of crazy if it goes over 80 it sounds like a glorious whining sound that is noticable but sounds pleasant =] But If you put two of these into sli it is like a single 295 gtx so think about it a 295GTX or a sli 9800 gt o_- and you know how much they cost
Cons: none whatsoever
Other Thoughts: 500 GB HD 6GB RAM Uprgading to 8 GB ram Soon Intel Pentium D 2.5 GHZ upgrading to 2.8 GHz soon EVGA 9800 GT 1 GB HP pavilion desktop PC

Solid
Pros: Works better than I expected, the Evga overclock tool is great. Low temps.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: I upgraded from an Evga 8800 gts, and the difference is great. not only did my fps jump by 30, but the temps in my case dropped about 15 degrees C. That may not seem like a lot, but in the summer, your feet would start roasting.

Awesome
Pros: No problems at all. I game heavily and this thing has been run through everything from Oblivion to Supreme Comander: Forged Alliance to the newest Unreal. It powers through everything at max graphics with no heat/preformance issues.
Cons: It costs money...yeah, I know thats not unusual but thats the only con.
Other Thoughts: Tried a bunch of different cards and this one would take the cake if it wasn't a lie...

Good Card for a Low Price
Pros: I bout this card because funds are low right know but I am glad I did. I wanted the nvidia 2g 285 card and am glad I didn't do that. I mostly play cod4, crysis and warcraft3 and it handles them with ease. With cod4 and crysis my fps is between 70 to 90, dependind on the action in the sceen. will be getting 2 more of this cards as I get more funds. I will run two in sli and the other as a dedicated physx card. That should hold me off for a few years.
Cons: It dons't come in Tri sli only sli :(
Other Thoughts: Good bang for the buck with this card. If funds are low get this card, it will not let you down.

EVGA Has The Best Customer Support
Pros: This card is a great physx card.
Cons: Mine had a broken dvi port, and would not down clock. I believe the gpu itself was not working correctly as well. I just received a bum unit.
Other Thoughts: EVGA more then made up for the bad card. They provide the lifetime warranty, and rma'd the card within a week. Their ability to resolve issues in a very fast manner is far superior to the competition.
I knocked 1 one off the score for the lemon card. I gave them 4 stars for their excellent customer service.
I have owned cards from ATI manufactures and EVGA outshines all of them hands down. ATI banned me from their forums for complaining about the lack of support they provided me for the horrible performance of the 3870's. They continued to tell me that their cards outperformed NVIDIA's. Then when I bought this card I noticed a significant increase in performance and quality. Even compared to my crossfireX setup. I will never buy another ATI card!

Great Card, Great Price
Pros: At first I bought a 9800GTX+ only to find out it didn't fit in my dell E521. Gave that to friend and got this one. Awesome card, plays Blu Rays perfectly and can handle Mirror's Edge with out a problem paired to an AMD 5200+.
Cons: Fan is a bit loud.
Other Thoughts: ..it looks nice?

Amazing
Pros: 1gig of ram, takes up one slot, nice cooling, can OC the thing like crazy! Got it up to 700/1750/1050 running way stable, have to keep tweaking it a bit but its running fine like that. Runs COD modern, COD WaW, EVE online, and Command and Conquer all at max settings without any lag or being OC'ed. Haven't picked up Crysis yet but planning on it and not doubting that this thing can handle it. Can put EVE online on one of my screens at maxed settings and have the other screen running pretty much what ever and it doesn't miss a beat. This thing is a beast!
Cons: Price was ok but really? I didn't shop around that much and I could have gone with ATI and gotten a better card for cheaper! :( I like what I have though. My fault for not looking and just getting excited and clicking BUY. I'm not really partial to any of the two, which ever company makes a better card for less is the better I think!
Other Thoughts: Look around, if you like Nvidia then this card rocks. If you don't care then go with an ATI because theirs are cheaper with a little higher of clocks.
P.S. You are lacking the shader clock with ATI. I don't know if that matters to you but to some it might.

Best bang for the buck
Pros: For those of you looking for the best bang for the buck, cant go wrong with the 9800 GT 1gb, course i'm running two of these in SLI. Think about it, 2 of these 150buck cards in SLI is better than any one 300dolla card. I can play any game with visual settings MAXED OUT, watch any video encoded in anyway with ZERO stutter. I was debating between one 285 or two 9800's i'm so glad i went with this setup and saved a few bucks. Don't believe all the hype of the 400-500 cards, your own eyes wont be able to tell the difference in a game anyway.
Cons: This card is LONG, if you have a mid-atx case like me, once you mount the mobo, plug in the sata cables AND plug in any extra sata cables you have, this way you wont have to pull the card when/if you decide to add more harddrives in the future.
Other Thoughts: i7-920 6gb Corsair xms3 1333mhz Asus p6t 2x EVGA 9800 GT 1gb in SLI Thermaltake Armor MX case

Pros: As I would expect from a 9800, this card performs very well as a single unit. Combined with the rest of my system I have been able to play almost all of my video games at full resolution and full or nearly-full graphics (native resolution of my monitor is 1920x1080). PCI Express 2.0 is a bandwagon I'm glad to finally be on :)
Cons: There are some games I'm surprised I can't play at max with this card, but I also suspect that it may be due to the amount of RAM in my system (2 gigs.) Games like Supreme Commander require a lot of memory for textures and such. I find if I turn shadows on low quality or completely off games like Supreme commander run a lot smoother on this card. (2 more gigs coming in UPS today from NewEgg so I'll be able to confirm my theory)
Other Thoughts: Although there is a newer generation of Nvidia video cards out there, the 200 series, I'm quite pleased with this unit and plan on purchasing a second for SLI before they stop making it. I usually skip a generation before upgrading, so I'll likely not purchase a 200 series and will keep buying this specific EVGA model for as long as they make it. Especially if the price drops ;)

Good Card so far
Pros: Great card for the price, keeps itself cool with it's onboard fan. I have had other cards that would heat up to much this one regulates itself. I only rated it a 4 because cards for 30-50 dollars more are better but this card runs great for the price.
Cons: Very Large, if you don't have a large case it won't fit.

Fantastic Card!!!!
Pros: For a card costing $129.99 (After rebate) this card really rocks!!!! I was a bit concerned about it fitting in my Lian Li mid-tower case, but I had lots of room left even after I had the 6-pin connector plugged in. Someone said they had trouble getting this plug in, but it only goes in 1 way. Not that hard at all. This card is so quiet that I don't even know it's running. Now that I have all the settings set everything I run is operating much better.
Cons: Not really a con, but I wish the video card makers would put a little more information in their instruction manual about how to go about adjusting all the settings these cards have.
Other Thoughts: I did install the latest drivers from EVGA before I installed this card. I was having a little trouble with the AA setting as I could not get rid of the jagged edges in one of the simulators that I run. But a call to EVGA Tech support quickly solved the problem. They had my roll back the drivers and install an older one and that allowed me to set the AA which eliminated all of the jagged edge problems. EVGA tech support and NEW EGG rocks!!!!!

Smooth operator :-).
Pros: One gigabyte of RAM makes for smoother gameplay. Aesthetically pleasing single-slot desgin. Excellent all-around perfomance in Windows Vista and all applications.
Cons: Could be cheaper.
Other Thoughts: This card is the proverbial smooth operator. Crysis and other games run very well with no lag or scene-stutter. It also runs cool with the single-slot cooler and performs well in Windows overall.
This is video card is an excellent value for the price. Highly recommended.

Ill have another please
Pros: i prefer nvidia because the drivers have a more polished gui than ati's. evga makes a solid product, overclockable if so inclined as the heatsink/fan assembly is more than adequate for stock timings. this particular gpu has some pretty good overhead. i bought two of these, one for me, and one for my wifes pc... when its time to upgrade again, ill sli these and give em to my boy. fits nicely in my micro-atx builds. silky smooth, max settings on wow, hl2, cod4, oblivion... gonna try crysis next, i have no doubts itll perform.
Cons: if this wont play crysis maxed out ill be disappointed - although the games ive listed will keep me happy until i upgrade again... it just doesnt make much sense to play bleeding edge gaming titles. paying to beta test is ftl.
Other Thoughts: 2x HP m9517c AMD X4 9550 Quad-Core 8Gb memory Int graphics disabled Vista 64 Premium no driver issues

AMAZING
Pros: Ridiculously amazing graphics. I bought two of these cards for use in my Core i7 system. I average 160 FPS on Half Life 2 Episode 2 with all graphics settings set to high and 16x anti-aliasing. Not sure what frame rates I get in Command and Conquer 3, but with the graphics turned all the way up as well as anti-aliasing, it is SILKY smooth.
I REALLY like the small, single-space form-factor of these cards. If I were using two of the larger form-factor cards, I'd have a REALLY hard time squeezing them into my case with my hard drive. I'm using a mid-tower with these, so my setup is still relatively small for the amount of power you get with these cards.
Cons: When you're playing an intense 3D game or doing some heavy computations (CUDA applications), you WILL hear the fans. It's not quite to the point that it's annoying, but it's definitely not quiet. But... when you're in the heat of battle, you probably won't even notice it ;)
Also - and this is probably my fault for being a newb to building computers (this was my first one) - be sure to set your RAM timings in your BIOS. I had HORRIBLE frame-rates in everything until EVGA support had me check my RAM timing settings.
Other Thoughts: Definitely get a good power supply for these cards. I am using these with an Antec Signature Series 850W PSU and have never had any problems (this PSU is one of the Nvidia-Certified PSUs). It's definitely worth the 200 dollars you'll spend on it.
Hope the air-conditioning in your computer room works ;)

NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT 1GB
Pros: Very sweet super high rez easy on the eye plays any game on max, quiet. Multi monitors ok sli with multi monitors is ok with new drivers takes care of other monitors auto. You only have sli on one any way, plug both into one card use the other for gpu.
Cons: ???? none
Other Thoughts: I put this in my boys' system p5nd by Asus smokin!! Get two run SLI, cheaper than the new stuff and kust as good.

Awesome Card. . . Simply Awesome
Pros: This GPU is amazing. It very quiet (to be honest I hardly ever hear it). The fan is amazing as well. After playing for a few hours it actually still feels cool to my touch. 1GB VRAM will play any game out right now on high-settings.
Cons: It isn't very cheap when compared to other video cards that are a lot better and only slightly more expensive, but the price still seems just right. So far, I have no cons to report with my new GPU.
Other Thoughts: I did have one problem installing it because I didn't know how to properly install the 6-pin power adapter but the folks at EVGA customer service were very helpful and I had my new card ready in less than 20 minutes. BTW, make sure you have enough power supply. Anything with 400W or higher will be fine.

Great card
Pros: -Great performance -Lots of bang for your buck
Have two of these running in SLI and they make every other card I've ever owned look like a joke. Excellent cards and I would gladly buy again.
Cons: -Lots of heat -Big cards
Like all of the other 9800's and above, these cards are big, and with two of them running in SLI the area between them gets plenty hot. Not much of an issue with all of my case fans on, but something to consider.
Other Thoughts: I didn't do my homework and so didn't realise that running both cards in SLI would keep me from using my other two monitors. Not the fault of the card or Nvidia, but keep in mind that in order to use more than one screen, you'll have to disable SLI.

Coulda been better
Pros: Graphics looked great when running. All games on highest settings.
Cons: Sadly enough card was artifacting right out of the box. Sent back and waiting for a replacement. Hope this was just a random occurance.

Fantastic Value
Pros: Shorter than the old 9800, only ONE pci slot. 1gb video ram! Great profile size. Fan is close to PCI bracket, so it draws heat straight towards the outside of the case, then filters it back through for fantastic cooling. Same price on NewEgg, normally, as it was on a blowout sale at the store where I bought it. I can now use my HTPC to run Far Cry2 and the Crysis games.
Cons: I liked having the fan near the END of the card, so that the card beneath wouldn't block the fan (as not many cards are as long as a modern video card). But! That's not MUCH of a con, since it's based on preference. I hope they make a smaller profile 260, 280 or 295 one day... or a dual GPU card at this profile; that'd be great. It's otherwise very difficult to hate on this card.
Other Thoughts: When you think VALUE, you think "affordable" or "Cheap" and not "Valuable" Why is that? This card is an amazing value and is worth it in both senses of the word. I have this card in an Antec Fusion 430, using the 430w Power Supply Unit. Yes, it fits in the HTPC case, because it's shorter than the old 9800 card, at about 8 inches.

!Awsome!
Pros: handles anything I throw at it! Length was not an issue for an micro atx build, fit right in and no problems. Cooling is great and sound is pretty calm not loud!
Cons: Nada I built this system for my in-laws and I'm jealous!
Other Thoughts: buy 2?

amazing
Pros: Amazing card, can handle 2 monitors at full resolution. and to answer most of your questions, Yes, it can handle Wow:wotlk with everything turned all the way up, and (with 3g's of ram) can do just about anything on the other screen.
Cons: ITS GIGANTIC!! about 4.5 inches high and 9 inches long, make sure you have room before you buy!
Other Thoughts: good card, just make sure you get a decent 500 watt power supply. BUY IT

EVGA Products The Best
Pros: Higher End Single Slot Nvidia 9800GT with 1 GB Ram The cooling fan truly is automatic. When using advanced 3-D graphics the fan runs at 70-80 automatically, after closing whatever 3-D app and returning to normal operations the fan automatically calms down to 35-45 range.
Cons: This product should have been a 5 egg but this EVGA Card has a cooling fan that is obtrusive. I was disappointed that you can definitely "hear" the cooling fan.
Other Thoughts: This card replaced an EVGA 8800GT Superclocked 512 MB card. Quite silent. I could overclock to 700 mghz core clock, and keep the fan at 70-80 and not even notice it. Not so with the 9800. As soon as fan hits 50 and above you can hear it clearly.

incredible
Pros: My computer couldn't run Battlefield Vietnam on medium settings without lagging but I can throw anything at it now on highest settings and get silky smooth gameplay. my personal favorite is BF2142 Quiet, easy to install, effective... what more could you want??
someone below mentioned that this was almost disturbing in its awesomeness and I completely agree
Cons: I cut a big gash in my thumb because I was too excited while opening the box with my key
Other Thoughts: I think this is the best $150 I have spent for my computer yet

Good Card
Pros: Decent price.
Cons: I didn't see a size anywhere. "Long card" doesn't help when you have a ruler. So: The board itself is about 8" long. You should have at least 9" in your case for a comfortable fit.
Other Thoughts: Upgrade from 8600GT w/ 512.

astounding
Pros: This card is a GREAT value. Quiet, self sustaining, crazy fast, takes up only ONE slot!!! You get more than enough bang for your buck! there's nothing this thing can't handle!
(..yet.)
Cons: like everyone else said, it's long; but if your case is the right size, you won't have a problem.
Other Thoughts: careful with this, it really is long. use caution before buying this, but if you have the room, PLEASE do yourself the favor and BUY THIS CARD!!

Pretty good so far
Pros: Needs only one slot! I've been sick of high end cards requiring at least two slots as not all motherboards curtail to that.
Cons: Because it uses one slot it is extra long to compensate, which still fits just fine in my case however.
Other Thoughts: In my opinion, the best valued card. It comes with 1GB and only eats up one slot and is made by EVGA who I have never had problems with.
