Rating + 5 No problems whatsoever

Pros: Got my husband to install. Have had no problems whatsoever. I do play some games (CIV IV, Emperor of China, etc), and this video card does all that I could want.

Cons: None that I am aware of.

Rating + 4 Read Specifications:requires at least a 300 watt power supply

Pros: Installed easily, works well. With Windows 7 - Graphics subscore of 2.8 and Gaming Graphics subscore of 2.3.

Cons: Requires at least a 300 watt power supply.

Other Thoughts: The only reason I could see buying a card like this today is if you are upgrading an older PC to Windows 7 (that's what I am doing). My only warning is that you must have at least a 300W power supply for this card to work (I found out the hard way). It clearly states this in the specifications, you just have to read the specifications!

Rating + 5 Smokin'

Pros: Easy installation, extra mountng plates for low profile card, multiple connection options and adapters. Great performance. Low price.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I bought this to upgrade the onboard video of a Dell Optiplex GX260 desktop pc. I needed low profile and high performance. This was to upgrade a friend's pc so her daughter could run SIMS 3. This was a quick and easy upgrade for an older computer. Also bumped up the system RAM to 2 GB.

Rating + 5 Good warranty work

Pros: First of the is a great card for the price. I feel I made a wise investment even though I do not game that much. It has worked with every game I have, New or old. When something goes wrong, how well it is handled is very important.
I had to send my card out for warranty exchange and I got it back inside of a week, WOW! I got a better card to boot. Emails were sent keeping me up to date.

Cons: Had to call for RMA as I could not get it on their website.
They need to put some loctite on their stand off's as the nut fell off the cable connector shorting out the card.

Other Thoughts: Helped me reformat my USB Flash drive. I did not feel rushed in any way. I liked not having to call support twice.

Rating + 5 Wonderful

Pros: Low-profile brackets included. Just installed this card last night...it's working great.

Cons: Nothing really

Other Thoughts: The integrated video on my little test machine couldn't support the resolution of my 19" monitor. This card made an inexpensive upgrade and now I have a much larger desktop! Not sure how it would be for games, but if you have an AGP slot on your machine and want to upgrade for gaming, I'd suggest you get a whole new PC that supports PCI Express.

Rating + 4 good for the price

Pros: cheap, easy to install, compact in size

Cons: incurs some flashes with my VIA-based motherboard, when DVI is used.
But the flashes only occur when is system is initially booted. No more flash after that. If you use a Intel-based north bridge, it shouldn't be a problem.

Rating + 4 A Decent Buy

Pros: This card has decent video playback and resolution capabilities, albeit it's not as powerful as I would like. It runs older games just fine on med-high settings. Right now I play the Sims 3 on low settings with about 30 fps average.

Cons: Not very good for gaming.

Rating + 5 What an easy switch!!

Pros: It was so easy to change my old video card for this one! The instructions told me just what to do and I'm not a computer techie by any means. Just a mom of 3 kids who want to play Sims3 on a 4 year-old computer! The old video card couldn't handle Sims3; this one does just fine.

Cons: None so far...!

Other Thoughts: NewEgg.com is totally great! SuperFast shipping!! I found out about NewEgg from an electronics store computer guru. They didn't have the card I needed, so he recommended NewEgg.com. It was super easy to find the card I needed once at the website and I asked for 3 day ground shipping...I received the card in just 1 day!!
Keep up the excellent work NewEgg!

Rating + 5 Exactly what I needed for Windows 7

Pros: Quality
Still available
Cheap enough
DVI
Component video output adaptor

Cons: No free software/games

Other Thoughts: I had an older PC that I put Windows 7 Home Premium on and all went well except for video. Win 7 does not support ATI radeon 9000. So, I needed a card that Win 7 would support and a card that would support atleast DX9. Popped in the GeForce 6200 AGP and bam Win 7 installed the drivers and we are all good with full res and Aero. The output is clean and clear. Now this old PC is working great for what I need it for (basically an internet PC).

Rating + 5 They are who we thought they were!

Pros: DVI, multiple displays, works the way it should work. Dont get this for gaming, unless you want to play low end games or older games (half life, 100 fps on counter strike 1.6) Its good for whoever needs a low end dvi agp video card and it does what it says.

Cons: once after a few hours using it, it makes the system restart but im not trying to fix it because im letting my system die and getting a newer system. So I dont know how much of a con it is since im not checking whats causing the system to restart.

Other Thoughts: Its a low end video card, I bought It to replace a video card for an old machine ( but the mobo on that old machine wasnt good and died. It was something else) so while I was switching some parts of that machine and a few beers I decided to leave the geforce 7600gs on top of a furry blanket and yes, very staticky :P .
It killed the 7600GS and now im using the 6200 and works enough to hold my system which isnt much but once in a while it restarts the system.

Rating + 5 Good little AGP card

Pros: Very good quality images and video. Perfect for Windows 7 in an older computer. Does moderate gaming. High quality PNY build. No driver or other HW surprises-stable. Great price. Passive cooling is as quiet as it gets, and not too hot. Onboard VGA socket.

Cons: None at the price.

Other Thoughts: A good choice for dragging another year or two out of a AGP rig, especially if Windows 7 is planned. No need for more than a 6200 with these systems at this point, and PNY makes a good one.

Rating + 4 Does Aero in Win 7

Pros: Hardware Installed in a few minutes and I went to the Nvidia site for the latest drivers (dated 08/17/09) that also installed without a problem.

Cons: If you need to use the low profile brackets and want both DVI and D-SUB connectors you'll need an open PCI slot; next to the AGP slot for the extra bracket that holds the D-SUB connector.

Other Thoughts: The card went in a Dell GX270 Small Desktop. I was concerned about the power supply being able to handle the card but, so far so good. I'm not a gamer so the biggest workout the card gets is doing Aero in Windows 7 which it does well.

Rating + 5 The Little Card That Can

Pros: I had this card in an ancient Sony box (1.5GB ram, 2.4GHZ P4 processor), however back when I bought it in March of '07 it was a full profile card. Anyway, I quickly got it to overclock to about 450mhz on the core and around 550mhz on the memory. After fitting it with a 3rd-party fan, I managed 580mhz on the core and a HUGE 700mhz on the memory, this little card just GOES. I managed it to run games like Half-Life 2, Garry's Mod, Battlefield 2, even STALKER: Shadow Of Chernobyl at Low-Medium Settings at 1024x768 and pull out around 20-40FPS, which for a card that was $60 at the time, is pretty awesome. I was also running it under a 305watt psu, just fine for 2 years.

Cons: After having it for two years (note that this has happened to EVERY AGP card I've owned) after the computer failed and stopped posting (roughly 7 years into its life, RIP) last March, I was unable to remove the card completely. Part of the card comes out of the AGP slot, but the rest seems to be heat-welded to the board. I'm guessing its prolly a mix between AGP and the fact I ran it really overclocked for two years, but its anyone's guess. This card also lacks the power to do advanced HD things, so if you're using this for a media computer, you may want to get much more power than what this has, like a Radeon X1xxx AGP.

Other Thoughts: Great little card, great overclocker, very hard to kill, and as long as you don't mind playing games on low-medium settings, you can pull out a lot of fun from this small investment.

Rating + 4 Great low-profile AGP

Pros: It's low-profile so this should fit in any case. This handles WoW pretty well with medium settings, about 40fps. Same in Counter-Strike Source and it plays well in Warcraft III. Even with no fan this card has no problems in my cramped case. The price if very good too if you wanna upgrade a small old computer, you don't have to invest much in it.

Cons: You can't play play any new games on high settings (which makes the games look good) unless if you wanna play a slideshow.

Other Thoughts: I put this in my Dell Dimension 4600C and it fits in perfectly. I got an AGP because my PCI slot was already taken and this card works perfectly. This does come with low-profile brackets and DVI to VGA, everything you need. If you've got a small case and you're sick of using intergrated graphics then you should get this card, which could handle tons of 3d effects.

Rating + 1 nVidia fooled me...

Pros: even without a fan to help the heat sink out the card has not burned up... yet

Cons: Very Very Slow. No Fan, guess its not important when the most taxing applications you are able to run are internet explorer and notepad

Other Thoughts: I bought this card to replace a Geforce 4 4200TI i had bought in late 02/early 03. Apparently i needed to dig a little deeper to find out that even though this card is several years newer and has twice the memory it is by no means meant for gaming. After trying a couple old games to see how much better(ha) they ran i was shocked to find out that even on the lowest settings i can not run doom3 or battlefield 1942. Both games are too choppy to even attempt. I was able to run these and games like them without a problem before, with much higher detail and resolutions. I guess its my fault for assuming the newer card with twice the memory would actually be faster. For reference i have a p4 2.4 ghz with 2 gig ram. Thanks nVidia, really appriciate your cleaver advertizing. I'm a software engineer and you got me!

Pros: Needed to order something better than a GeForce 440 MX so I went for this one. Fit perfectly and worked as expected in a Gateway 500X with Intel D845PECE motherboard. Games were much better and I was able to increase many settings in several older games.

Cons: No fan. I ordered an Exhaust PCI cooler and it does the job at keeping the card cool.

Pros: Works well. The install was a piece of cake. The drivers seem a lot less buggy than some of my other nvidia cards. Hooked up to secondary monitor no problem.

Cons: The secondary monitor takes a while to come up when resuming from sleep.

Other Thoughts: Great little card if you need to add dvi to an older box.

Rating + 5 Works fine

Pros: * Supports dual monitors
* Has decent 3d acceleration
* Has a DVI port

Cons: None, really.

Other Thoughts: I bought this for a media computer that wasn't playing back high-def videos smoothly. I thought this would fix the problem, but turns out the bottleneck was in my processor (older model Pentium 4). This still works great, though, for limited 3d gaming and dual monitors. The easily drives an LCD TV at 1920x1080 resolution that is 50ft+ worth of cable away with negligible amounts of interference.

Pros: I put this into an older Talon Computer. It has 2 gigs of ram. This runs WoW on avg settings for grps and Low settings for raids. Low if any lag for raids None in grps.

Rating + 2 lots of trouble so far...

Pros: Works great for basic applications.
Shiny.

Cons: Hasn't worked well in 3D yet.

Other Thoughts: Trying to keep a good machine kicking a little longer, but this card wouldn't behave on my AGP 3.0 motherboard... lots of 3d glitches at AGP x8, calmed down mostly -- but not completely -- with AGP x4 setting. Tried another machine that runs Windows 2000, but there are no drivers on the CD or online (so far) in spite of the tech specs here. I'm still hoping...

Rating + 5 Good all around desktop card

Pros: I purchased 4 of these for upgrading the office computers for dual monitor support. We do NOT game with these cards so I cannot comment on gaming performance but the dual monitor performance for general office programs is good. We paired these cards with a program called Ultramon to enhance the dual monitor experience. No cooling fan is a big plus since these are not being pushed for 3D gaming the office computers and nice and quiet.

Cons: Could be a little cheaper given the 3D performance of these cards is pretty poor compared to similarly priced PCI Express models. IMHO the price is being inflated because of the legacy AGP support.

Rating + 5 Good value card

Pros: Good price for an entry level card. Installation was a snap under XP. Definitely a good upgrade for my old 5200 that bit the dust. Handles older games and WoW just fine.

Cons: Not for high level gaming. Don't expect to play Crysis with this.

Other Thoughts: I'm not a hardcore gamer, but I needed a dedicated card for the games I do play on my older desktop. As with my previous purchase, the PnY Nvidia card was easy to install and worked great right out of the box. As it gets harder and harder to find value priced video cards out there, it's hard not to recommend this one for people who want or need graphics acceleration on an older computer.

Like I said in the negatives, this one isn't for hardcore gamers. However, if you're looking for that you're probably not reading this review :)

Pros: None because is a outdated product

Cons: May not work on all small form factor because of the power consumption. Please make sure you read the spec of your power supply and motherboard output before purchasing. Watch out for overheating if you have a tiny machine.

Other Thoughts: I was hoping to turn my old machine to been able to play games but is not going to work with this card.

Pros: Works with Vista SP1 out of the box, newer Nvidia drivers installed without a hitch, dramatically improved display over the original AGP card in my Dell GX270.

Rating + 3 Uhh...what?

Pros: This card is working out just fine. My computer has much more defined imagry and runs WoW at descent settings despite what other reviewers are saying.

Cons: I did not order this card! I ordered the VCG62256APB version, and the card I got has the VCG62256APB model number on it, but the product is supposed to be blue and has a different connector layout. I don't know where the mix-up happened, but I was looking forward to the blue card I ordered.
Either way, it functions the same, but runs a little hot.

Other Thoughts: This is sitting in an old Compaq Presario 6627AU which has a max 4x AGP setting. This card is running just fine.

Pros: Good solid graphic card. Not the best you can get but sufficient for play. I play a lot of World of Warcraft and have had worse cards.

Cons: When I turn a character around viewing 180 degrees suddenly in the WOW graphics, the graphics card will sometimes lock up. I have kept up on the driver upgrades, but it never solved the problem. It's become somewhat annoying and I may look for another card soon.

Rating + 5 good card

Pros: I bought this card to upgrade an older Dell optiplex that had an AGP 4x slot. I bought it so I would have a DVI-I output for my HDTV & a vga output for my XGA monitor. Works good. I use it in dual display mode. I don't use it for gaming so can't comment on that. I run DVD's through my pc to the TV via this card and it works fine for that. This card requires less power than some of the higher end cards. Even though they specify a 300W power supply for your system, I'm able to run with a 250W without a problem. I like the fact that it doesn't have a fan... from what I've heard a lot of the cards with fans don't last too many years as the fan wears out and the card burns up.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: When first installing the card the software ran through multiple resolution tests for the DVI output. It tested 480p, 576p, and then 1080i, but no 1080p test. None of the documentation on the card says if it will do 1080p and the settings in the NVIDIA driver control does not say if its 1080i or p, just 1080. So not sure on that.

Rating + 2 Couldn't get it to work

Pros: Inexpensive, fanless (a plus for HTPCs).

Cons: Didn't work in my system.

Other Thoughts: I tried to install this in my Vista Ultimate HTPC (IBM NetVista P4 2.66Ghz/1.5G RAM/Hauppauge HVR-1600). I was upgrading from an Nvidia FX5200, which worked but was underpowered, leading to response lags and crashes.

When I first installed the PNY GeForce 6200, Vista seemed to detect it and install a driver. But I couldn't install either the drivers from the CD or downloaded drivers. I got various BSODs, and ultimately, even after I ran system restore and reinstalled the card, I got no display at all.

Strangely, I got an eVGA brand version of this same card, which seems to work fine. So it's possible that I did something wrong when installing the PNY card, which is why I gave it 2 eggs rather than 1 (since both cards use the same Nvidia chipset, it seems like if one works, they both should).

If you need an AGP card, this might work. But I'd recommend the eVGA card instead. It's quiet and can handle HDTV.

Pros: Good for my obsolete AGP 8x mobo. Does what I need it to do. I play a few games (NFS4, Combat Flight Simulator), but not any new ones (and not very often) and this card seems to handle the old ones well. Has both VGA and DVI ports which will make upgrading my old VGA monitor a breeze in the future. Works with both WinXP and Win98 (my system is dual boot).

Cons: Doesn't come with a fan, but I can see that from the specs and pictures. When I installed the drivers from the CD, the screen resolution became locked at 800x600 at 4-bit color. Wow, does that look bad! I downloaded the latest WinXP drivers and that seemed to do the trick. Everything seems to be working fine now.

Other Thoughts: Would've given 5 eggs if it weren't for the 4-bit color SNAFU. But, it seems to be working fine now and that's the main point. You can monitor the temp which is nice. So far, I've seen it reach 42F. I installed a fan on the heat sink and dropped the temp down to 31F. Not bad. For what I use my PC for (finances, audio & video, old games), I think I'll be pretty happy with this card. Newegg had prompt delivery as always. Thanks guys.

Pros: It wasn't long ago that this was "state of the art". If you want to get some highpowered card that will play the latest and greatest resource hungry game then DON"T BUT THIS CARD and go spend $200. Frankly, I've seen these new games with a high powered card and to me they don't represent a quantum leap in visual experience. This is a decent card that works exactly as described. It replaces a Ge Force 5500 that was very highly rated on New Egg at the time I bought it and this card is better and quieter because it doesn't have the fan the is in fact what failed on my old card (after 2 years of use). If you need a replacement card for your old AGP slot this is a great option for only $35 with mail in rebate.

Cons: it wasn't free.

Rating + 4 Perfet for HTPC

Pros: No fan so it's quiet, easily handles 1080p on my plasma using a dvi-hdmi converter.

Cons: Comes with component out adaptor (plugs into s-video looking tv-out socket), and I'm not sure if it's the card or something else in my pc, but when using the component out (instead of a hdmi adaptor) I get a lot of noise in the picture. Just a warning in case you were planning to use the component out.

Other Thoughts: I'm not using the computer for 3d gaming at all, just video. Works great for that, no idea what the performance would be like for games.

Rating + 4 SO FAR SO GOOG

Pros: Good card for the money. Not a big gamer so I don't need a big card. PC has been running non-stop since I installed it and not even so much as a hiccup (so far).

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Does not come with a low profile bracket. Easy to find locally though so no biggie.
