Poor Fit
Pros: Compatible with my old socket A MB.
Cons: The hold down bracket (not the low profile one) is too long. I tried this card in 2 different cases with the same results. Because of this I have to install the card with a few washers under the bracket and between the case. I can't speak about the low profile bracket since I do not have a low profile case.
Other Thoughts: Card works great in my application as an HTPC card. XMBC and this card work well together to output a crystal clear image in 1080p to my 50" plasma. I had to purchase a DVI to HDMI cable, since there is no HDMI out.

Mixed
Pros: Plenty of accessories, it works after messing with it for a good 45 minutes.
Cons: This is probably my fault for buying a small form factor PC for my wife in the first place--they are always a pain to upgrade hardware--but the installation of this card was not very smooth. I have built hundreds of computers at my workplace over the years, but can't remember having a brand new video card give me so much trouble. First of all, the ribbon cable for the VGA port is too short unless you have an additional low profile slot directly adjacent to your AGP slot--which I haven't seen for a few years. Most of the small form factor PCs I've seen in the past 5 or so years have a slot for a low profile video card & standard-sized PCI slots perpendicular to the video card. Secondly, the low profile bracket did not fit very well into the PC's chassis. I don't know if this is a problem with the bracket or with the PC, but I suspect that the bracket had a manufacturing defect since I've never had this problem before with small form factor HPs.
Other Thoughts: After I installed the card, I installed the drivers from the disk. After the reboot, the screen went black so I restarted in safe mode & uninstalled the drivers. I then installed the drivers from Jaton's site, with the same result. I uninstalled the drivers again in safe mode, then I reseated the card & left unlatched the little thingy that secures the card in place & reinstalled the drivers from the web. It then worked. This led me to believe that the card was bound up by the latch because the bracket did not fit very well. I'm not bashing Jaton though, I've installed plenty of their cards without issue, therefore I'm giving tres huevos.

Great! Works with my Windows XP and Fedora 11
Pros: See Other Thoughts.
Cons: OpenGL 2.0 at the least would have been nice.
Other Thoughts: I bought this as a cheap way to get a dual screen for a dell optiplex gx260 (should fit all pc’s in the optiplex series). It just about the only way to do it, put a good old AGP 8X video card. Since my pc has a low profile, I needed to remove the PCI Riser. a decent langth cable should do fine without removing the riser, just feed it around, if you think you have a problem like mine. The drivers are only good for windows xp. Although a bit outdated, they work just fine. Dual screen works fine on Windows XP Pro edition and on my Fedora 11 second boot. This card gives decent performance, definitly not for anyone looking for a gamer video card. Buttom Line: Not too expansive. Low profile. Ideal for older AGP systems in need for a little graphic/speed boost. 512MB 64-bit GDDR2. It has a DVI-I which can be used as a second VAG socket, my box actually came with a DVI to VGA Adapter (#N82E16814999201).

Fair
Pros: Works as advertised
Cons: Didn't have any expectations really
Other Thoughts: Seems like there is a stream issue as frames are flickery. Not sure why yet?

Very nice on a Linux box
Pros: Worked very nicely with ubuntu Jaunty, no set up issues at all. I cannot address issues about the installation CD, I do not use windows.
Cons: Not OpenGL 2.0, pay attention to this if it matters to you.
Other Thoughts: I needed a new graphics card to replace an aging/deteriorating ATI card. I needed an AGP so I chose this based on other reviews. This was a good choice, but I did not pay attention to it being OpenGL 1.5 and NOT OpenGL 2.0. My mistake but I can easily live with it because it works so well for most applications.
I received the order in 2 business, thanks Newegg. To paraphrase someone else, "Why would you shop elsewhere?"

Works perfectly with Linux
Pros: Extremely quiet, stable, great watching movies. Frees CPU cycles. Excellent value for the money.
Cons: CD drivers for windows only, manual limited. The manufacture should list Linux on the box.
Other Thoughts: My machine dates back to 2003. Not many AGP 4x cards available, but this one with 512 MB of video ram is a winner. I didn't realize my older ATI with 64 MB of video ram was so slow until I installed this one (and cost about twice as much).
I stalled this card and booted my machine with Ubuntu 9.04. It was instantly recognized. Movies are beautiful and so are the flash videos. Thanks to this card the pages almost instantly appear within Firefox. Finally, I have about 20% more CPU power. Watching videos with my older card consumed about 80 % of my CPU, now it's about 60% --- no wonder the videos run so soothly.
Highly recommended!
I have to mention the outstanding service I received from Newegg. I ordered my card on a Sunday afternoon, and it shipped within hours. I received my card in less than 3 days and it was professional boxed as well --- outstanding!

Great with linux
Pros: Works great with Ubuntu. I plugged it in and started up my computer, linux picked up this card immediately. Works great with Compiz. Runs Alien Arena great. Plays videos fullscreen no problem. With fan speed control it is almost silent. My old HP feels smooth and responsive once again.
Cons: Runs a little loud. Doesn't make pancakes before I wake up. Could not transform my computer into a super computer.
Other Thoughts: Great purchase. I bought it to run Compiz and to watch videos fullscreen, and it does just that. Newegg is the awesome!

Works well with Linux
Pros: Quickly recognized and configured by Ubuntu Hardy. Fast and stable.
Cons: A little expensive for an older AGP card.
Other Thoughts: Like many Linux users, I am reluctant to upgrade my hardware without a strong reason. My machine runs faster with every new release of Ubuntu, so why get a new one? For this reason, I am still using a vintage 2003 P4 box with AGP, and it still works great. Until the video card crapped out, that is. Don't even try to find an AGP card in the local store. Newegg, on the other hand, has a pretty good selection. This card has more memory than the 128Mb GeForce Ti4600 I was replacing, and seems to be somewhat faster -- though you'll have to ask a gamer about FPS. It was immediately recognized and easily configured by Ubuntu, and uses the same Nvidia drivers as my old card. So far, it appears to be completely stable. I'm happy with the choice.

Challenging But Does the Job
Pros: I bought the card because I have an aging HP Pavillion 410e, and the fan on the old card, nvidia GeForce FX5600, sounded as if it was going to blow up! There aren't many AGP cards out there, so I tried this. It's better than the 5600, and is significantly more quiet. Game performance on Warcraft is better (not great, but better). Most noticeably is the FPS rate is decent now, but settings are still on the low-side. But, it does the job.
Cons: Worst CD Install EVER. After trying to install the drivers from the CD, it was clear that this was useless. Here's what you do: 1) first go to nvidia and download the driver package for the card (about 77 MB). 2) swap cards. 3) RUN downloaded package. 4) Restart and 5) system should be fine from there. Do NOT attempt to download drivers with the card in place - it will default to such a low graphics setting that FFox and/or Explorer will both crash/fail when trying to download drivers. You've got to get the drivers FIRST while you still have some decent graphics capability.
Other Thoughts: Would I buy Jaton again? Maybe. Knowing that their CD install is so poor, I can anticipate what I'd need to do in the future. The card itself seems good (but I haven't had it long enough to see how long its fan will last).

Good Card
Pros: Great card for a dual monitor setup on an aging SFF pc. Includes the low-profile bracket. I fed the VGA port around the side of the bracket.
Cons: A little pricey for an old standard.
