Rating + 5 Good card for money

Pros: Cost, stays relatively cool, low profile (card isn't a small motor) runs anything I want it too with almost no stress on FPS on any game I own.

Cons: its RAM speed is pretty low and the core clock speed is as well but honestly I watch this thing compete with far better cards then it is so honestly i paid half and got about the same product.

Other Thoughts: I have been very satisfied with XFX and will be buying more of their cards if not other items they produce. IE they have a sweet looking MoBo i want to check out.

Rating + 5 WOW AND WOW!

Pros: Let me just say that I researched the best card for my machine - XPS400 from Dell - which is really a reboxed Dimension 9150. They put the XPS on it and SATA Drives and call it an XPS - that being said. This card ROCKS! World of Warcraft has never ran smoother and faster on ULTRA nonetheless and BATMAN ARKHAM ASYLUM -- all I can is dang! My wife thought I was watching an anime. Great XFX CARD and the lifetime warranty cant be beat.

Cons: none so far

Pros: Fast, cheap, Got a free copy of cod4

Cons: Didnt have the low profile bracket that it was supposed to so it didnt fit in my dell 530s slimline. Guess ill have to go buy one.

Other Thoughts: Had onboard video before i got this. This took my windows experience test from a 3.3 to a 4.7. Gaming went from a 3.3 to a 6.7, getting 60 fps in Dalaran on WoW. Overall a great card for the avg gamer(non hardcore) and a huge step from any onboard video for the price, newegg also got it to me in 2 days so woot!

Pros: Running dual screens .. this card has been the best .. I'm not a gammer and can not be perfectly honest with how the card would work with those who are. Pixels and having several opened programs are perfect on each screen while transfering pages from one monitor to the other is flawless. I've had this card for a year now and has not failed one time. Works great in an office environment.

Cons: None ...

Other Thoughts: If I needed another card .. I would buy this one again.

Pros: Great for price. Major improvement over onboard Intel graphics chip. Runs CoD4 @ 1024x768 with DoF and Glow off @ 2xAA at 35FPS, in intense battle.

Cons: Cant even run TF2 maxed at a good framerate.

Other Thoughts: I would get it if you need a good budget card.

Pros: Looks great and affordable price.

Cons: I think I got the one that the previous owner returned. Exact the same problems he described in his reviewed only this time I'm watching it unfold on my very own high-def monitor.

Other Thoughts: Does Newegg sell the return items without certification? Just kidding they've been good to me all this years.

Pros: Excellent image quality. The card itself, for it's intended function, was near flawless. Didn't play many games, but it did manage Halo: CE at max settings @ 1440x900 with ~30fps. Great for offloading HD video from the processor, general desktop productivity and even some HTPC (if it were quiet - see cons). Huge upgrade from onboard 6150 SE graphics.

Cons: The fan was RIDICULOUSLY LOUD! The image for this product shows the card with a four pin PWM fan controller, however the product I received only had a two pin fan controller - which meant no automatic fan speed control. The fan ran at 100% constantly. I understand that with ordering online, what you see isn't necessarily what you get, but I purchased this because I needed a video card that was relatively quiet, or at the very least actively regulate it's own temperature. This card would have been a perfect fit, but the fan noise was such a distraction it ruined any chance at HTPC usage. Disappointing, as the image quality was amazing.

Other Thoughts: Lack of airflow in my SFF computer's cramped case prevents me from using a fanless card, and this was the most powerful card for the money, at the time. I think to myself and quietly hope that I just got a bad/oddball card, so I might trying buying it again - it really is exactly what I need. I like XFX's double lifetime warranty, so only the threat of another bad fan controller makes me hesitate.

Finally, Newegg is nothing short of amazing. They issued an RMA immediately, and paid for the return shipping, no questions asked. Thank you Newegg! You have found yourself a loyal customer! :)

Rating + 4 Not the best speed for the price

Pros: Compact, easy installation, easy to clean fan.

Cons: Underperforms my old 8600 GT card.

Other Thoughts: I was influenced by the good ratings on this card and was expecting a modest increase in performance with the 1 GB memory over my old card. My Windows Experience Index score dropped 5 points. According to benchmark tests this card is in the bottom 1/3 of the pack. If you want a fast Nvidia card at slightly higher but reasonable price go with the 9600 GT.

Rating + 5 Quite Impressed.

Pros: Plays COD4 AMAZINGLY! Just disable Glow and DOF and you get 50fps @ 1440x900! Plays Heroes of Newerth @ max settings with anti-alias @ 60fps. Crysis isn't the best unless you overclock, thats if you have a 1440x900 monitor, or display settings. Plays @ 20fps at high detail for 1024x780. Far Cry 2, disable Bloom and post effects to low, shadow medium and bam! 30fps @ 1440x900!
WORKS WITH Windows 7!

Cons: Not GDDR3. Not very high clock/shading MHz. But, for the price, $60, playing most modern games @ highest quality, its worth it for small budget builds like mine.

Other Thoughts: Windows 7 64-bit
4G DDR3 Ram

Rating + 5 HAPPY and SATISFIED

Pros: 1) Pop it in and BAM! Instantly recognized by Windows 7. 2)Download latest drivers using the CD.

After that, you are on your way all in less than five steps. The NVidia control panel is extremely easy to use and navigate. I tested its power with CoD4 and I gotta say I'm impressed. I only had to tweak minor settings within the control panel but all is well now. It's a huge difference from my onboard which is never that great.

Cons: The card's fan is pretty loud which may be a deal breaker for some but I could care less.

I'm also mad that is wasn't $50 and free ship when I bought it but I have made a wise purchase but no eggs deducted...

Other Thoughts: I registered it and it has a LIFETIME warranty. So if anything goes bad I expect the same card back, if not BETTER and NEWER! NVidia will always be my first choice for chipsets. Their quality is the best and I have not had any problems with any video cards or motherboards. XFX is amazing too. I love the lifetime warranty. I will always go back to these two for any computer needs.

And Newegg deserves their own paragraph. They are always concerned with customer satisfaction and are always the cheapest and speedy shipping provided by UPS. Thanks Newegg!

Rating + 4 great if dont mine doing a little extra

Pros: great resolution for the price. and the free Cod 4 cant beat it

Cons: can overheat if not treated
keep it clean of dust

Other Thoughts: if you want to run this thing amazing or just whole computer much colder get a personal fan that you plug into wall and keep your case open and have it blow in there when your using your computer in intense usage like games and stuff that makes it overheat. this increases performance by decreasing the heat not just of graphics card but of the whole computer.

Rating + 2 IMHO, not as quiet as other reviews state.

Pros: Solid bang for the buck performance like other 9500GTs. Slick looking card that does not take up much space. Not for hardcore gamers, but performs perfectly for casual gamers and photo/video editors.

Cons: LOUD!!! Fan seems to be stuck at 100% all the time! Makes my otherwise near silent Lenovo desktop sound like an XBox 360.

Other Thoughts: I chose this XFX card after I RMA'd a defective PNY 9500GT 1GB card. Not only did this card score a lower Windows Experience Index graphics score than the PNY (4.9 vs. 5.0), but the fan noise is unacceptable. Looked for a fan adjustment, but did not find any via NVidia's control panel. Decided to RMA this one as well and take another shot at the much quieter, better performing PNY version.

Rating + 5 Pretty Decent

Pros: I bought this card to replace a 8600gt card that had only 256mb of onboard ram, I was thinking that I would just use the card and save money to buy something bigger and better, but haven't had to, the card plays all my games just fine, some new games, some old. just recently got a new 25 inch monitor and the card fires the monitor fine at 1920x1080 full hd

Cons: Some newer games with this card at the max resolution of my monitor lag a bit, I think it overheats the card a bit, so i lower the resolution and it plays fine. Movies play great and look sweet on full hd, when i got this monitor I was afraid the card would not be able to run it but it does just fine just not in high max settings on newer more intensive games

Other Thoughts: For the money this is not a power house gamer card, but it will still play some of the games just fine just not at high settings and max resolution's. When i was shopping for this card i was reading tons of reviews and doing research, I was looking at the 9400 and 9500 and there was mixed reviews about the 9400's and so i choose the 9500 and glad I did!

Rating + 5 Great Card

Pros: Excellent picture and graphics quality, great speed for my PC windows XP pro.

Cons: A little power hungry for my 400 watt power supply so I am thinking a power supply upgrade may have to take place in the near future. But not too bad, just have to shut down after a few hours of gameplay and let the system cool down.

Other Thoughts: XFX is a good quality manufacturer, I have a motherboard made by them and love it. Can't go wrong with this item. Thanks Newegg

Rating + 4 Excellent Card ... For Windows

Pros: Works very well in Windows 7, almost as fast as my Sapphire ATI HD 4670 in another PC.

Cons: This card is hobbled in Linux by Nvidia's marginal drivers. That is the case with all Nvidia-based cards (ATI is much worse).

Contrary to other reviews, the fan noise is quite noticeable, though not objectionable. Using only the on-board graphics, my PC is very quiet.

Other Thoughts: I installed this 9500 GT card in a Dell Dimension 4700 running Mandriva 2010. In all honesty, it isn't showing that much of an improvement over the very old Intel GMA 915 chipset built into the motherboard. About the only obvious difference is that it gives you a richer experience in Compiz and KWin. But, I don't use Compiz, so it's not that much of a deal.

Performance is OK in Linux, but not nearly as good as in Windows. And, it's the lack of good video drivers for modern hardware that will continue to hobble Linux in getting widespread acceptance on the desktop. That is the reason I'm taking off one egg. If I were a Windows-only user, I'd give it five eggs.

Rating + 2 Poor heatsink design

Pros: Cheap, works as intended, at least for the short term.

Cons: Look at how the heatsink and fan is designed. It pulls air in from the fan, and pushes it along the cowling towards the port end of the board. This would be fine for a high-profile card, as it would exhaust out the back of the computer, but the cowling ends right at the power regulator chip and capacitors. Heat WILL cause capacitor failure, especially the heat coming off the GPU that is being pushed across the caps by the fan. Also note, the heatsink is held on by TWO spring clips, which if there is allowed any hot-spots in the heatsink, a significant chance of warping will occur, which may cause a gap between the GPU and the heatsink, frying the GPU.

Other Thoughts: When shopping for the cards, note where the heat exhaust will go, and how well the heatsink is secured to the GPU and RAM chips.

Rating + 5 Best 60$ card I ever owned!

Pros: I bought this card for my HP Pavilion Slimline. It has an AMD Athlon X2 4450e, 3GB of available RAM, an on-board Geforce 6150SE and a 250W PSU. With the 6150 I could barely run games like COD4 and Doom 3 at there lowest settings. With this card I'm running both games at there highest settings @ 1024 x 768 and getting 80+ FPS.

Cons: It didn't come with a Low Profile/Half Height bracket so I had to order once separate. I was able to snap the bracket in half and use it while I waited for the LP bracket to come in. The fan is a little loud but not worth complaining about for a $60.

Other Thoughts: Installed seamlessly. I used the newest drivers from NVIDIA's website.

Rating + 5 Nice Card

Pros: This card was very easy to install, Vista picked out the drivers immediately. However I went to the website anyway just to make sure I had the most recent driver available. This card doubled my video rating. I play Everquest 2 and at high performance settings I get around 25 - 30 FPS. This goes down a little during raids but no more lag spikes. Very happy with the card for the price. Newegg had fast shipping as always.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: I would recoment this card.

Rating + 5 Great Upgrade!

Pros: First off, I have had an ATI Radeon HD 2400 video card for the past year and a half and it just wasn't cutting it. I own a Dell Insprion 530s (slimline...never again) and was searching for a new low profile card that would fit. This card is the one. This card is the best thing you could do if you have a slimline computer and looking for a fantastic graphical boost. Ex: Call of Duty 4 was running at around medium settings on 800x600 with a decent framerate. I put in this card and was automatically boosted to everything maxed on 1024x768 res. If you are want a better gaming experience on a slimline or just want a smoother computer experience, buy this card! Great price, free shipping, excellent product, win!!

Cons: Slight hum (barely noticeable)
Thats about it so far...

Other Thoughts: My specs:
XFX GeForce 9500 GT
Intel Pentium Dual core processor 2.0Ghz
Windows Vista Home Premium x32
3GB DDR2 RAM
250 watt PSU (Runs fine even though the box says 400 watt)

Rating + 5 Great low cost card

Pros: Newegg shipped same day and I received less than two days later. I wanted an improvement in gaming for my helo flight simulator. My AMD x2 2.2mhz with a Radeon 1250 onboard got a 3.2 windows performance rating, even with 8gigs ram. I put this card in and got a 4.9. and so far the stock power (250 watt) supply is handling the load, with no overheating. No other performance problems so far, even though Nvidea recommends 400 watts minimum. Great card for the money! I can simulate flying much better now! Other gaming is sure to be better also. TV is richer and faster now. Will probably get a shell shocker power supply anyway later....Small space needs makes this a good choice. Installed quickly, even drivers on disc are fast. Simple install for Vista.

Cons: None as yet. Very happy with the card and the price.

Other Thoughts: XFX is a nice card maker. I now have 2 gigs dedicated for graphics, one on the card; 1 gig on the mobo. Amazingly adequate for the system....128 bit, nice going Newegg!

Rating + 5 Solid performing basrgain

Pros: My daughter is playing Sacred 2 at "very high" graphics, 1680x1050 resolution. It plays smoothly with wonderful effects. WoW was beautiful. She doesn't play the shoot-em-up games, so this card is enough.

The card is low profile, and at the time came with the LP bracket; so it fits in the Dell 530s. With this card, the Antec Power Supply Calculator says we only need 180 watts for the whole system, so the 250W PSU is enough. "Windows Experience" is 5.0 for Aero graphics, 5.3 for gaming graphics.

Very quiet, except on startup, when it lets you know what it would sound like at max.

The card was worth the $90 I paid for it in January 2009. It's certainly a great buy at $60 now.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: This is great as a card you add to a Dell slim box. No need to pay their inflated prices for low power cards. The low price keeps the system price low.

Rating + 5 Cheap, cool, and fast

Pros: When I bought this card, i thought that it would be a good mid range graphics card, with nothing special. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that all of the games I have can be played on the highest level. Granted, these are just games like Half-life 2, Portal, or Team Fortress 2, but nonetheless, I am impressed. The card stays at about 37 C, reaching a maximum of 42 C. The CUDA support allows me to encode videos at 3x what I previously had. The install process was seamless, and took less than ten minutes. Downloading and installing the drivers only took another five. This has been one of the best experiences with a graphics card i have ever had.

Cons: None

Rating + 4 Runs great, but buggy

Pros: Ok, This graphics card is pretty beast for it's price, can run any basic game on the highest graphics. It also generally quite and it's temperature is well maintained. How small it is is also a nice plus.

Cons: I have this problem, when I open a program, a box shows up on the center of my screen and doesn't go away, I have to reset my resolution, and set it back for it to go away, and this is every time I open a program. I am on live support with XFX now though, we will see how that goes, I've tried it on multiple monitors, so I know it's the card itself.

Other Thoughts: Yeah, I'm glad I don't have a slimline case, if you do, get the bracket kit.

Rating + 5 Overclockability

Pros: Compared to a 8600 GT 1GB, this one is better. Overclocked this from speeds of 550/1375/400, to 760/1825/640. Although not a gming card, with this, you can play Guild wars on high, UT3, burnout paradise, juz to name a few, and crysis on very high with an average of about 15-20 fps, decent enough for me.

Cons: When turning the fan speed up it makes alot of noise, but thats at 100%, default fan speed doesn't make much noise.

Other Thoughts: Didn't buy it, got it though xfx lifetime warranty, had an 8600 gt 1gb and it malfunctioned after about 3 months or so, but they were great at replacing it. can't beat xfx with there lifetime warranty.

Rating + 5 Great upgrade card for Dell 530S

Pros: If your like me and made the mistake of getting a slimline PC your options for upgrades are very limited. This card is a great solution for the Dell 530S or other slimline case PC's. Greatest thing, no power supply upgrade required! Works perfect using the stock 250W P/S. Replaced an ATI Radeon 1300X 128mb and boosted vista graphics rating to 5.0 and games to 5.3 from 3.4 and 3.7. Never winter nights 2 now runs near highest settings from the absolute lowest settings. Very happy with this card, highly recommended.

Cons: Make sure you also get the low profile bracket kit otherwise it will not fit a slim line case. Comes as a standard bracket. Luckily read a bunch of comments so I ordered it with the card.

Other Thoughts: Dell 530S (Slimline, never again...)
Intel Core 2 Duo 6550 2.33Ghz 4mb L2 1333 FSB
3GB DDR 2 5300 (667Mhz) 2 512mb 2 1gb

Pros: Pretty good. Runs compiz at highest settings, with no choppiness. Supports my massive 3340x1050 monitor at 60Hz, with no problems. Easily installs on Linux. Low profile.

Cons: None at all.

Pros: great card for the money,it is somewhat gamers card if your familiar with overclocking,if your not i would spend couple more bucks and get the gddr3 512mb it is a little bit faster

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: i overclocked this baby at 825mhz for the clock core and 500mhz for the memory clock with no problems whatsoever,i was surprised it didnt even overheat, but you would have to override the fan and put it to 100%.GREAT CARD.

Rating + 5 XFX GeForce 9500GT 1GB Low-Profile

Pros: This card delivers a pretty good bang for your buck. I tested out Halo 2, Audiosurf, and Garry's Mod pretty thoroughly at maximum settings and anti-aliasing. For those games, the card performed flawlessly. I also did quick tests in Fallout 3, Team Fortress 2, and Half-Life 2: Deathmatch. These also seemed to work very well on maximum settings.

Cons: Right now, none.

Other Thoughts: I was playing Halo 2 for a good while on it and I noticed that it was running pretty hot. I downloaded a system monitor and found that it was running at 56°C (132.8 °F), but this is far from the card's fault. I'm using an Acer X1200, and due to the cramped form factor of the case, there is very little room for air circulation. Again, not the card's fault.

Rating + 5 From hell to heaven.

Pros: I had only 2 cards in my life including this one. Have an old BFG GeForce FX 5200, but this is a heavenly LEAP OF FAITH!!!
Plays The Sims 3 in all detail with all the extra settings enabled, even the smooth rendering and the 2.0+ detail rendering, gives me 125 fps easily. Tried OBLIVION and Lost Planet EC in this with all settings maxed, Just HEAVENLY!!!!!

Cons: Found it NOW!! Wish to have found it sooner. JEJEJE

Other Thoughts: The 15 pin connector in the Low Profile KIT is incompatible. Use the DVI and SVIDEO bracket and a DVI-D to VGA if using VGA DIGITAL MONITOR, DVI-A to VGA if using ANALOG MONITOR (usual) or just DVI-I from card directly to supporting monitor.

Rating + 4 Good for What is Needed From It

Pros: Its a el cheapo video card that works for simple functions like websurfing and viewing pictures and movie clips.

I can't say much about the performance for games with this as I haven't tested this (probably won't).

Low Profile meaning less space and clutter great SFF systems.

Windows Vista rate this a 5.0 for Windows Aero performance.

Cons: Do not. I repeat DO NOT use this card with a DVI to HDMI adaptor. It will work fine the first time but once you turn off the monitor and turn it back on Windows will BSOD with the adaptor. I later took off the adaptor and used regular DVI connection and all is well.

Other Thoughts: Great video card for budget systems. Just dont use any adapters with it.

Rating + 5 Decent for office use

Pros: Bought this instead of a workstation class card for our engineer (electrical utility company). This card seems to work well for our environment, and for the money, I don't think a workstation class could do much better.

Cons: You have to purchase the low profile bracket seperate :(

Other Thoughts: It works, simply put. Nothing fancy, but ample RAM to handle 2D drawings (probably even 3D, but that is not our purpose).

Rating + 5 Great Video Card

Pros: Great card, installed it in my Optiplex 940. I swapped out the PSU as well just in case, but I am wondering if it would have been ok with the stock one. Aero gets a 5.0 with this card in Vista. Card is super quiet and is SMALL. I received the low profile bracket for free as part of the newegg promo, but I have a minitower 940 so it wasn't needed. Driver install was a snap, Nvidia has a searching program that will identifiy the hardware and DL the correct driver. Attempted to play the Crysis Demo on max settings, refresh rate was a little jittery, but it still pulled it off (not to the level of a console refresh rate).

Cons: Newegg states that the card requires a 350W PSU, when the retail packaging says it requires a 400W with an 18A 12V min. Careful Newegg! :)

Other Thoughts: I am running a Core 2 Duo 3.0 Ghz, 8GB of RAM, 500W Thermaltake PSU.

Rating + 5 Nice Card

Pros: Purchased this card to upgrade from my on-board dell video card.
- 1 GB memory
- price
- Very quiet fan (only hear it when its total silence)
- rebate
- fast shipment (got it in 2 days)

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: i bought this for my dell optiplex 755 desktop and worked right out of the box.
1. Uninstall your current Display Adapter. PC will ask yo reboot but just shut it down.
2.Install the Video Card (make sure it snaps securely). Your screen desktop will look bigger (which is normal b/c you have no display adapters installed yet). If your monitor has no DVI port MAKE SURE YOU PURCHASE an ADAPTER---DVI-to-VGA. DVI-I side should be male which is a 24+5 Pin. There are a few kinds of DVI so purchase correctly.
3. Pop the CD in. or better yet just Download the latest drivers on the NVidia site and just follow the set up. And you're good to go.
I tried the card with Valve games such as CounterStrike and at first my fps was capped at 60 -- i turned vsync off, anti-aliasing off, monitor refresh rate at 75 and now i get 99-100fps constant. I have yet to try it on Left 4 Dead and Call of Duty 4 and WaW.

Rating + 5 Best card for Dell Vostro slim!!!

Pros: Super fast!! I replaced my ATI 3450 with this card and it's a world of difference.

-Total War: Age of Empire runs really smooth on high settings 1920 x 1080 (AA turned off).

-iTunes album view is buttery smooth with flicking through hundreds of album covers.

Runs my 40" Samsung LCD without issue

Best card to buy for the slim case/HTPC models.

No issues running off the standard 250w powersupply supplied by Dell

Cons: Doesn't come with the low profile brackets -- must be purchased separately.

No HDMI out

Other Thoughts: Best card for slim cases with low power supplies.

Pros: Good Card, low profile. Fits in my company issued dell. Now i can play TF2 HL2, with better (much better at that quality)

Cons: Only con so far is the inability or my disknowledge of how to make use of both ports (VGA and DVI) to dual monitor with my 22 inch acers.

Other Thoughts: cant beat that upgrading from a Nvidia 5500 (my first card was a 5200)

Rating + 4 budget gamer

Pros: First off let me say that this card is a huge upgrade over my onboard graphics that came with my dell. Like the other gentlemen I also have a dell 530s. And of course being a slimcase our video card options are very limited. As far as i have reasearched (and i have done extensive research on this subject) this was touted as the best card for the job. And i havent been dissapointed yet. Im getting 26 FPS in Dalaran and 45-60 FPS almost everywhere else on WOW. My Buddy just built a new comp from the ground up and he put a GTX 260 in his machine with a better processor and i would say that my substandard comp is easily comparable to his video quality with all of my settings near maxed. If ur limited to a slim case, this is your card.

Cons: One would think that a "low profile" card would come with a "low profile" bracket to mount. I cant even tell you how frustrated i would have been if the other reviews had not commented on this issue. The goal with any product upgrade should always be to "plugnplay" as seamlessly as possible.

Other Thoughts: The card says that it requires a minimum of 400w PSU but my factory dell 280w is holding up just fine. And now. . . . .it feels like im playing a whole new game just because i chose to invest under a bill for bracket and card. BUY IT. No regrets.

Rating + 5 Rockin' Card

Pros: Card arrived in 3 business days. Installed in about 10 minutes. I let my boys get on their games and both told me that they saw a big difference. I also pulled up photos and stuff much faster than before. Snaps pretty well when opening pictures.

Using it on a Dell 531s. Being a slimline, I needed to find a low profile card. The PSU is also being nice. I'm running the entire PC behind of a watt meter. So far, it hasn't jumped over 200 Watts. I'm guessing the main box is running at about 125 max while playing the games. No need to upgrade the proprietary 250 watt PSU. I'm glad. Would have been a pain to do so. Better off building a new rig but I just got this one about a month ago.

My Windows Experience jumped from a mediocre 3 to an awesome 5. Very cool. Running HWMonitor and it shows the fan running at 50%.

Great price. Great Service. Great Experience.

Cons: The only one that I can think of would be that it didn't include a low profile adapter and the box really doesn't show it. I went over to a retail store and asked the rep if I could open the box to see if the low profile adapter was included and it wasn't. The also didn't sell any. Save some time and a big headache. Order the low profile adapter when you order this card. It's only 7 bucks and it comes with 3 adapters and an extension ribbon cable.

Other Thoughts: I won't be buying any more of the standard manufacturers boxes like Dell and HP. I've learned my lesson. I'll be building my own. This experience has taught me that if I want to save money and get what I want the first time, I'm better off building it myself. Myself and NewEgg of course. You all ROCK.

Rating + 5 Wow... Just Wow!

Pros: This is the best slimline video card for the price you can get if you were dumb enough to buy a slim computer. It replaced my fried 8300gs and works smoothly on my Dell 530s and boosted my Windows Rating from a 3.2 to 5.0 alone! You don't even need to upgrade your Power Supply Unit, I am surviving with a 250W that came with my Dell with no problems at all, although it would be best if you upgrade it to 350W as recommended.
The Low Bracket package that came with this video card works perfectly with any slimline computer and doesn't take long to install at all.
Everything from the design on the card to the way it performs is flawless

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: If your computer isn't a slimline model and you have a tight budget, I would aim for a better card such as the 9600GT ($30 more) or at least a DDR3 9500gt ($5 less), however this is one of the best deals in terms of price to performance for a slimline model you can get.

Rating + 5 Well worth it

Pros: I purchased a Dell 530s slimline desktop, and I was concerned that the video cards available to me would be a hassle to find and install. This card is fantastic. Not only did it fit the case (the brackets are necessary), but the little 250w stock power supply that I'm stuck with powers it just fine (even though the specs say it requires 350w). For the price and power, you don't get any better. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Cons: None yet.

Other Thoughts: There isn't a game I've tried yet that this card cannot handle. We'll see how it does with the next generation of games though.

Rating + 5 Great Card

Pros: Great Card, Easy Install, Fit Right into my case, Low Profile, Quiet

Cons: Drivers provided aboslutely worthless, save yourself the headache and go download off of NVIDIA's site.
Did not come with a low profile Bracket, had to use the one off my old card. If you don't have an old one, you'll have to order a kit or watch for new egg to offer a free kit.

Other Thoughts: So far this card has been great, Runs World of Warcrack in Dalaran on Highest settings at about 23 FPS, everywhere else around 46-50 FPS. Runs Left 4 Dead on High Settings and the new Empire: Total War Demo was smooth as well. Very quiet.

I had a miserable time trying to install the drivers provided with this card, I am upgrading from a 7600 Slimline card and just updated the drivers about a week ago. The install program detected that I already had a nvidia drivers installed and said "You have hardware that is incompatible with these drivers" I uninstalled everything and just downloaded the drivers from the NVIDIA site.

Great card for the money and low profile cases.

Pros: Extremely fast.

Keeps very very cool.

Solid and durable.

Very quiet.

Cons: No low-profile bracket included.

Other Thoughts: Coming from an ATI Radeon X700, this was a huge step! What a difference...and nVidia is so much better anyways.

This thing fits perfectly inside my Dell XPS 200 with no room to spare (you couldn't fit a hair between the fan and the hard drive above it). But it runs flawlessly and makes a huge difference in game and overall CPU performance.

Rating + 5 Best Low Profile Card Out There

Pros: If you have a slim case computer (Dell 531S, HP Slim, etc.) and want the best pound-for-pound graphics/video card on the market, look no further than this card. The XFX low-profile 9600 series (the one that's a step above this one) requires an additional (or a new) power supply - and you don't want to hassle with that - nor do you have the space for that. More good things about this card: 1) It runs pretty cool but doesn't overwork itself; the fan is set by default to be reactive to card use (unlike cheaper brands that just run at 100% the whole time). 2) It comes bundled with free low profile brackets. 3) It's relatively quiet - it is only at its loudest (which isn't that loud, anyway) if you're running some graphics-intensive game. When you close out of the game, the card gradually cools off and the fan goes back to next-to-silent. 4) It can run most of the newest games on high settings smoothly.

Cons: In the context of a slim case computer, there are no cons.

Other Thoughts: Buy it.

Pros: Fits in my Dell C521 small desktop using the free low profile bracket. Works with the stock PSU (280 W).
Ultra quiet and runs cool playing CoH and UT3 at 1680x1050 everything on high. HDCP compliant, I was able to watch Blu-ray movies (see other thoughts).

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I almost gave up on my 2 year old Dell C521 but after buying this product it is now a blast to use. I added 2 gigs of ram, intalled this graphics card, replaced the dvd player with a Lite-on Blu-ray drive and I'm good to go. The Blu-ray drive is not a perfect fit in the case, I have to trim the front bezel so the tray can open/close.

Rating + 5 Powerful card for those on a budget

Pros: Great card. Ordered it primarily for a MicroATX build for when I'm going on a long vacation/out of town for a while, but I decided to pair it with my current desktop (Asus P5N-D 750i, E8500 @ stock 3.16ghz, 4gb 1066 DDR2 Kingston RAM, Nvidia Akimbo 9800 GT 1gb) to see how well it would work with my gaming setup:

Ran surprisingly well on Valve multiplayer games such as Left 4 Dead and TF2. During intense TF2 combat, I dipped down to about 25 FPS, but it went back up after the smoke cleared. During zombie hordes, it dips down to about 40 FPS from the Vsync'd constant 60fps. High details on both games, both running at 1024x768 resolution. Call of Duty 4 and 5 ran well, with most details on medium @ 1024x768.

Cons: Not an exact powerhouse. Can surpass an 8600 GT or 8800 GT, but not by much. Perfect for usage in light LAN cases. The more recent the game, the less effective it'll be, as should be expected. You're not getting a really dedicated gaming card here, since it's Low Profile, but it'll keep your temps low, and that's always important in Micro ATX cases.

Other Thoughts: If you're skilled with building computers and just looking to gift a small gaming PC to a friend or loved one, this is a good alternative to something like the stronger (and more expensive) cards like the Nvidia GTX 280 and the ATI Radeon 4870

Happy shopping! Newegg delivers as usual!

Rating + 5 Nice Low Profile Card

Pros: Currently running 24/7 @ 100% load folding in a Dell 530s Slim Tower. No power connector needed for this card since it only needs 50w off the PCIe slot. Possible to reach 1600+ PPD with FAH-GPU2. Sound db is very reasonable. Best low profile card avaliable right now in my opinion, including the 9600gt as that card requires the extra power connector we don't all have.

Cons: Runs at 82 deg C in this small case, but that's not out of the norm. Fan on the heatsink sounds a little weird when throttling up, but quiets down at full speed. I wouldn't let that deter you from buying this card. I'll pick up more of these when the price comes down a bit.

Other Thoughts: No power problems using the original Dell 250w power supply even though the recommend supply is 350w. I have a 65w Intel e2180 processor (no speed demon), 4 gigs of DDR2 667 mhz Ram (4 x 1gb), 250 gig 7200 rpm HD, one PCIe card, this 9500gt, a DVD-RW drive, and a 15 in 1 Card reader.

Rating + 5 Here comes the BOOM

Pros: Wow where to start. Small card fits well with no worry of not having enough space. Don't let the small size and price deceive you. This baby is one hell of a card. Runs my CoD 4 on Max Settings 1440X900 getting 35-90fps. I run an AMD 64 X2 5000+ 2.66GHz CPU with 3.5GB of RAM on Vista. Comes in very nice. I can run Crysis on Medium settings, just need a better processor to run max! Jericho gets 35-60fps in 1280x720 in High Graphic and Texture settings. Runs flight simulator beautifully and Half Life 2 incredible! Awesome card! Just make sure you have the processor and memory to back up the games you wish to run.

Cons: Nothing wrong with the cooler on it, seems too many negative people have a problem with the low sound it makes. Pretty good card all around.

Other Thoughts: 1GB Memory is awesome, sure beats the 512mb, you'll notice it.

Pros: Card fit in my dell c521 nicely and does amazing fps for cod 4 and half life 2 wow runs great when not lots of people or turning too fast but that because i have a 25$ processor
runs cool and pretty quiet also has huge video memory to make up for the lack of clock speeds also dosent require much power

Cons: short ribbon cable for low profile had to use my old one

Other Thoughts: If i had a better processor this card would feel a lot better since wow is heavy on cpu use but other than that ive had no problems once i get the 3.0 amd my c521 should be amazing

ordered Sunday morning got in 3 days

Rating + 5 Like a bat out of you know where

Pros: This card is a SCREAMER. Do not be deceived by the small cooler. I put an LP bracket on this thing and stuck it in a business computer with a Pentium 4 HT CPU at 2.8 GHz and I am getting 60 FPS in Unreal Tournament 3 at 1440x990. That is unheard of. This thing is the deal of the century.

Cons: No SLI connectors.

Other Thoughts: I had an 8800GTX last year with a Q6600 and I am barely noticing a difference between that setup and this one.
