Great bang for the buck
Pros: Plays Crysis on high settings(not max). Low power consumption (300w PSU).
If your not a huge gamer(it will play anything I have thrown at it but not at Max settings) this card will suit you fine.
I have used XFX products for years and NEVER been disappointed
Cons: none for the price range.
Other Thoughts: Intel Core 2 Duo 1.8ghz. 3gb DDR2 667. XFX GeForce 9500gt, 300w PSU.
I am running dual 19" LCD's with this card and have NO issues at all with it.

Great Card for the price !
Pros: Great price for the card, very durable and cannot beat the lifetime gurnatee on this card. Plays crysis the most system demanding game smoothly!
Cons: Vista score of 5.1 out of 5.9 but who really reads into Microsoft's own operating system benchmark!
Other Thoughts: Easy to install , Vista and Xp both installed drivers automatically without any hassle.

Big performance for little money
Pros: Even there are more powerful cards on the market, 9-series is still deliver a very competitive performance.
Quet card, runs cool even on max settings
Cons: Absolutely none for that price.

Flaky Card
Pros: Based on the reviews seemed like a good choice - i.e. enough power for the right price.
Cons: Building a system for my son. I only decided last night (July 2) that the card was SURELY the reason why Windows 7 RC1 AND Ubuntu 9.04 would freeze after (at most) 10 minutes. At first I thought maybe the video driver was bad. I got the June 18 driver from NVIDIA. Still problems. Not sure if system memory or motherboard or processor or video. Memtest showed system memory okay. Finally found an OLD Trident VGA card and it works (well grainy 800x600) with Windows 7 !! The XFX GeForce 9500 GT is defective and I hope XFX will replace it. I just missed the Newegg "return by 30 days deadline" - tomorrow is July 4 :-(
Other Thoughts: Be sure to troubleshoot your system well before your 30 Newegg return days are up. Will see what XFX does....

Awesome!
Pros: Great Value, Plays Blu-Ray without a hitch, fast, doesn't heat excessively
Cons: None I could find. I have had this card for 4 months. Now I'm buying a second one.
Other Thoughts: Due to motherboard and hard drive dying I had to rebuild my system. This time around I installed Windows 7 RC1 and this card works right off the bat. On the nVidia website I could find a driver update (last night) very easily (not sure why someone else in the reviews had a problem finding it, it was linked from nVidia's home page). I played Blu-Ray while it was installed on my old motherboard and the clarity was excellent without a glitch. Great value for the money. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Great card
Pros: Great card, bought it for the PC at work to run dual monitors on DVI. Big improvement over the 8500gt that was in it. Plays Far Cry 2 at decent framerates. We mostly play Battlefield 2 on it and it runs really smooth with everything on high. Movies look good too.
Cons: Work PC does not have SLi motherboard :(
Other Thoughts: Great card for the price!

Impressed
Pros: Amazing clarity, easy installation, and 70+ fps in most games.
Cons: The drivers were difficult to find on the website. But that's hardly a con.
Other Thoughts: Xfx lifetime warranty can't be beat, just make sure you register it. Oh, and don't listen to all the crybabies saying the fan is loud, it's quiet I can't even hear it. (P.S. I ordered next day air shipping and it took 3 days to get to me... even though it processed and shipped the same day, not very happy with Newegg considering it cost me $25.)

Pros: this is the best card for 70$ the fastest i can play call of duty world at war max out on 1366/768 without that much issues gets 5.9 on desktop graphics and 5.5 on gaming on vista
Cons: at times call of duty world at war gets as low as 17 frames when you use the flame thrower
Other Thoughts: works perfect on windows 7 i also have a amd dual core 4800 3gigs of ram antec 380watts

amazing
Pros: wow where to start.. I bought 2 of these cards to sli with my evga 750i sli motherboard. And when running 2 of these cards it runs Crisis on all high settings, not very high but high which is still amazing to me. In CSS Im running 236 fps lol(no thats not a typo). So yeah Id say get a different card if youre not sliíng(cause of coarse there are better cards in this price range but not to sli. So if youre planning to SLI this is your best option in this price range. It plays anything I throw at it on high settings
Cons: NONE
Other Thoughts: it came with a driver cd but I decided to just download the drivers off of nvidia's website. And when I installed it everything messed up and went into what looked like a 256 color mode. But I restarted and reinstalled the driver package and everything worked just fine!! So if you run into this problem just restart and reinstall the driver. I hope this review helps and remember this is more of a budget sli card than a single video card if you plan on gaming with it.

Does it's job
Pros: Will play most games on high settings, does not suck down electricity, runs cool and does not heat up the case, no power connectors to reduce air flow or clog up the case with cords, good warranty. Nice mid-range card for the money. Great for mid to low budget systems.
Cons: None really, does what I bought it for.
Other Thoughts: Would not overclock to much as it is just a standard card to show you what you have been missing. Up graded system from an AGP system and results are amazing.

Great replacement!
Pros: Used this to replace a burnt-out 7600 GT onm and old computer. I did not want to upgrade the power supply, therefore was restriced by the wattage requirements of other cards. Great value for the money.
Cons: More powerful cards available at this price range.

Perfect
Pros: Setup and install was quick and flawless, perfect card. The fan runs very quiet, hardly noticable with the case open, nothing at all with it closed.
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: Perfect card for you if you're looking to update an older/slower card.

Brilliant!
Pros: Great Card. Quiet. Runs everything at highest settings.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Bought this to replace an 8400 and saw a dramatic change in overall system performance. Vista Experience Score went from 3.7 to 5.3. Great addition to my desktop.

Good Card
Pros: This was what XFX sent me to replace my old burnt out GT 6600. (gotta love that xfx lifetime coverage!), Not much else to say, it is what it is. Good card for the price though
Cons: 256 bit memory would of be nicer but not avail in this series
Other Thoughts: XP3, Bio-Star 790-128M mobo, AMD 3 core 2.4 running at 2.9, 2 gig's of G-Skill DDR2 800, a Corsair 650 watt power supply, NZXT Apollo case and even though overclocked - avg. running temp is only 33C! - and only 52C using a 100% cpu load test for 1/2 hour!

Great Performance
Pros: No external power supply connection required. 2 DVI. Full HD support. SLI-ready. 512MB GDDR3. Runs relatively quiet. Good drivers. Best budget card you could buy!
Cons: Have yet to find one.
Other Thoughts: This is the best card you can buy that does not require additional power from the PSU. Great processor and loads of DDR3 memory. Must buy!

Worth every penny
Pros: Works with my 500W (12v at 16A rating) power supply. which is lower than what is supposedly required.
Cons: It doesn't come with a manual booklet. Just a cd, door hanger, and dvi-to-vga adapter.
Other Thoughts: I bought this card specifically to work with my hackintosh ideneb v1.4. I installed the NVinject 0.2.1 at setup and works flawlessly. QE was automatically enabled. What i thought 1440x900 was my monitor's max resolution, this card boosted me up to 1680x1050. To me that's a big difference on a 20.1" monitor.

XFX GeForce 9500GT w/ 512mb DDR3 Ram
Pros: Price was awesome. Drivers loaded from the disc w/o a hitch and fired right up. Incredible performance upgrade compared to my 7300. Opend up a whole new world of gaming for me. Bought, played and became addicted to Crysis because now I can run it.
Cons: Little big for my tower but with some wiggling went right in. Newegg took longer to get it here than other reviews mentioned but I was waiting with baited breath so that may have had something to do with it. DO NOT order anything on a Thursday night or Friday if you want it there quick.
Other Thoughts: Fan is a little loud but with the sound up or head gear on who cares.

Great board for low power systems.
Pros: Very Quiet, very low power consumption. Fits in a slimline case. My computer has a very small power supply and won't power a 9800GT. I took a chance on this card and while the box says that you need 400 watts and 18A on the 12V bus, my 180W PSU is capable of powering it. Raised my Vista performance rating from 3.0 to 5.3. I now have the computer that I wanted. The system is a little niosier than before, but still well within acceptable range.
Cons: Documentation/specs are generic and don't really match up with the board. There's a whole section in the quick install about the PCI-e connectors, and there aren't any... Also, it would be nice if the manufacturer had a slightly faster internet connection. Waiting 2.5 hrs to download the driver was a little much.
Other Thoughts: A good comprimise for limited space/low power systems. Newegg delivery was fast and the tracking told me exactly when to expect it. Thanks!

Disappointing
Pros: Nice looking card, Great performance for the money, Fast shipping. No power connector was the main reason I bought it.
Cons: Card never worked in PCI Express 2.0 mode. It would hang my system with the infinite loop stop error in XP, even after upgrading the PSU. Another video card worked flawlessly in my system so it has to be this card.
Other Thoughts: XFX support offered many ideas to try to fix the problem, but ultimately I think it was defective. RMA'ing and getting a different, faster card.
Manufacturer Response:We are sorry to hear that this happened. Can you please email me your support ticket ID to neweggsupport@xfxforce.com so that I can review your case? Thank you.

Awesome
Pros: Sick card for the money. Does most games I play. Haven't tried Crysis on it yet. It is small, same size as the 8400 - 8600 GT's. Doesn't use much power at all. Definatly recommened for the price.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: The card is visualiy beautiful aswell, and the XFX packaging is superb.

Works like a charm
Pros: this card attracted me because of it's low power consumption and higher specs than similar cards. i don't build systems anymore out of laziness but i do still buy my own video cards and this one works perfectly in my HP media center desktop. oh and this will play high end games like GTA 4 at least on medium settings. i haven't tried anything higher yet because the game already has memory leak issues for a lot of people so why tempt fate?
Cons: none really
Other Thoughts: if you don't like the price it changes practically daily and shipping is often free. just keep checking back and you'll find a deal soon enough.

Died in an Hour
Pros: It wasn't very expensive. The packaging is nice.
Cons: Driver software CD was buggy from start. Card died same day of purchase and installation.
Other Thoughts: After installing it and an hour of use, the video signal to my monitor dropped. The vid card was faulty since I tested the mobo, cable, and monitor with separate hardware to check. Reading from all the reviews, I'm getting worried about customer service. I'm pretty sure I'll go with another brand now.

Pros: Dear SLI... You will get your SLI link for your "Dual-Card" scalable link interface when you buy the proper mobo... every mobo with dual or quad SLI PCI-E slots ALWAYS come with the hrdwr. forthat boards features... you don't see a N. Bridge cooling fan coming with the N. Bridge chipset, do you?

It came, it installed, and it conquered.
Pros: First game I tested with it was Empire: Total War on the Highest settings possible. The game ran so smooth, I almost began to cry. I certainly didn't expect so much beauty to come from a mid range card such as this one. It fits perfectly on a mid tower. Well worth the money!
Cons: None.

Fast, Great Value
Pros: Out of the box compatibility with Fedora 10. Upgrade to the 180.29 drivers for full use of the card. Feels faster than recent ATI cards I've used, R4650.
Doesn't require an additional power connector.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: Asus M3N72-D, AMD Phenom II X3 710, Arctic Freezer 64 Pro, 4GB G.Skill DDR-1066, XFX 9500GT, LG GH22NS30, WD 3200AAKS, Raidmax Smilodon w/500w ps.

Pros: Great card. Running SLI works great for most games including FSX. Great all rounder for photo shop and other graphic intensive applications
Cons: just make sure you have at least a 600 watt PSU for this set up

good
Pros: Works with cod 4 maxed, red alert 3 max, fits perfectly into an inspiron 530 case.
Cons: makes the inspiron 530 a little bit louder but not noticeable, heard bad reviews on customer support and warranty but haven't tried neither
Other Thoughts: good overall card, not for serious gamers

Works Great
Pros: Great price. DDR3 memory. Runs my COD 4, COD 5, and BF2 with no issues.
Cons: The card is great, but the XFX website is terrible. I cannot register my new product to make sure my warranty is good. And they haven't responded to my emails for over a week.

Pretty Good
Pros: Plays the games I like on max settings with high fps. WoW, CS, Wc3:ftf
Cons: I was using 6200 integrated GPU, and when I put this in a got "out of freq. range" on the monitor, restarted into safe mode and got the same problem. Figured it was drivers. Ran it on integrated, and removed drivers, restarted, and then both cards gave me same error, even with safe mode. Using the 9500 I used "enable vga" which is availible from the F8 start up menu, and installed the new drivers, and now it works great.
Other Thoughts: This is a really great card. You don't buy a honda, and compare it to a lotus.

Wonderful card
Pros: Not much time for games or have the cash to WASTE on a $300+ card. Yeah I said waste! But when I do play, I want them to work right and look good. This card is the answer. Temp runs at 55C with Crysis on High settings @ 30fps. Smooth play. Also have a PCI slot cooler above it and a case fan blowing across it. Doesn't require a bigger power supply. Breathed new life into Mechwarrior 3 + 4 too. (Those games work with Vista)
Cons: My kids wanna play games on my computer.
Other Thoughts: Register with XFX so you can take advantage of the warranty should you need it. It does happen. I did blow up an 8600GT and got it handled no problem.

Nice Card
Pros: Great Card, this card plays as well as my 9800GT I have on my gaming computer. The great thing about this card is the power consumption, my 9800GT sucks power while this card runs fine on a 350 watts. The size of the card is considerably smaller than my 9800GT, fits nicely in my HP Pavilion.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: Good card. Good price.

Good basic video card
Pros: Good basic video card. Obviously not for the serious gamer but good for everyday use. XFX lifetime warranty is a BIG plus.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Does not need seperate power connection from PSU.

wonderful
Pros: This is a great buy. I upgraded from an older than dirt Powercolor ATI radeon x700 and, of course, the difference is huge. The reason I bought this is I have a Dell Dimension e521 which means i have a backwards atx mobo (you open the right side of the case if facing the front, as opposed to the left). This leaves only 1 slot for a gfx card. This card fit perfectly.
Cons: My only problem is it's only 128 bit instead of 256. All in all not really a con because I knew that before buying and i didn't want to have to upgrade my psu.
Other Thoughts: Plays WoW, Spore, and Dawn of War on highest settings quite well. It's quiet, affordable, and pretty solid for a budget card. If that's the market you're in this is the card to get.

Pros: i dont know why people keep telling me it wouldnt run well. but when i got to my houseee. it was blazin fast in performance in gaming. got 70+ fps playin R6V and R6V2 200 Fps cs source. it plays everything smoothly. some people just think its slow its becuz of their cpu or memory performance.
PC SPECS: Windows Vista 32-Bit Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 2.4Ghz 4 GB RAM Nvidia Geforce 9500GT
Cons: nothing
Other Thoughts: BUY IT FORGET 9800 or 4850

SUPER CARD
Pros: Well this is one of the best graphics card i have used and i gatta tell you, i have used alot. my most powerfull card was a xfx 9800gt black edition (love xfx) and had to swish because my computer did not have over 450 watts and soo i ended up with this and i gatta tell you from a personal view there is no difference between this and 9800.
Cons: none for now probaly that i thought that the box was going to be bigger because the 9800 was like the size of my printer (lol)
Other Thoughts: well it runs great and its a good card for its price also this are my specs AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+ 2.9GHz 3G of Memory 500Gb of hard drive XFX GeForce 9500 GT 512MB GDDR3 overclock Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 (x86)

Crisis
Pros: I just wanted to add that this card will play Crisis at all high settings, not very high but high settings. Crisis will automatically set the game at high if you select auto detect system hardware. Those of you that can only run Crisis on Medium just know that its not your graphics card its probably your processor or ram that is not good enough. People will say spend the extra $ on an 8800 or 9800 but they are not taking into account the possible cost of upgrading your power supply and/or chassis. This card is for ppl who want to upgrade from an 8600 or later, and do not want to make major upgrades.
Cons: none

Perfect, at least for ME
Pros: Better than an Nvidia Quadro NVS 280. But thats not a real graphics card for games. I just wanted a nice cheap card under the $100 price that would let me run C&C RO3 on LOW in the correct speeds (30fps). This card BLEW me away when I played C&C on ULTRA HIGH (just wanted 30fps rating at low setting) with very minimal studder. More like I need more memory though, only sitting on 1g stock.
Cons: The SLI SPDIF connector is slightly crooked on the board, wont use SLI ever so it doesnt matter to me. Pink Memory Chips? All I have seen are black, are these cheap?
Other Thoughts: I had an Nvidia Quadro NVS 280. It didnt play anything good but at low settings (Multi-Display Card). I purchased this card and I am MAXED OUT with every game I have...like C&C ROT3, Nitto1320, Videos and Movies are quicker and the sound and video match up now. Cant wait to get Starcraft II

Great for an inexpensive card
Pros: Easy install, Great upgrade card for someone who doesn't really have much in the way of a graphics processor- plays wow from 30-60 FPS on med settings
Cons: 128 bit- it's odd how this is a 512 card and other 512 cards will blow this outta the water- but they are also twice the price and have more streams and prob they are 256 bit
Other Thoughts: Like i said- great card for being inexpensive and wanting to get a decent upgrade- have had 2 of these to SLI- but couldnt get SLI to work- alot of nvidia customers are having this issue too- they think it's the new drivers- but whateva- other than that- no issues

Nice
Pros: Good card, very good for budget machine. Almost as good as an 8800GT.
Cons: Bit interface is extremely low for a next gen card, but that accounts the cheap price for a 9 series card. :)
Other Thoughts: Anyone who is anyone will know that getting this from an 8800GT is bad! The bit interface is only 128, while the 8800GT is 256, a review said never trust numbers, well no, always trust numbers. Numbers is what matters on hardware. The bit interface tells you that the 8800GT is much better. But if you want budget this is a good card. But the 8800GT is about the same price. Or just shovel out an extra 50 - 100 for a good 9600GT.

Great Card, Low Pirce
Pros: Fast, quiet, good if you're on a budget. The card out performed my expectations. Runs games like Assassin's Creed with maxed out graphics.
Cons: Took a while longer to ship than I would've liked.
Other Thoughts: Intel E2200 Duo, 4GB DDR2, Windows Vista.

Not what I expected
Pros: Worked, Good price, fast shipping.
Cons: I learned A lesson on this I got it to upgrade from 8800GT what A surprise when it was A major downgrade but newegg came through and I ordered the 8800GTS instead. ( learned not to trust numbers LOL)
Other Thoughts: Play's Crysis on med. settings Fine just not any higher.

Complete and total lack of customer service
Pros: None
Cons: I got the card in November, installed it, didn't work properly. I contacted tech support who sent a reply which did not fix the problem. I replied back to XFX and have been waiting for a reply since December 3.
Other Thoughts: First and last product I will ever buy from XFX.

Very satisfied
Pros: Great mid-range card. This thing can run most anything you throw at it. I've run fallout 3, Crysis, Left 4 Dead on this guy without a hic-cup.
Cons: Like I said before, mid-range card. Not really a con if you know what your getting, but realize that this thing isn't gonna run Crysis at full capacity.

My Best Option
Pros: Great option for me since I did not want to upgrade my power supply and was looking for something better then my stock dell brand 8600 gt which apparently only had a memory clock speed of 600 something mhz according to vista, and didn't have sli. Almost bought a low profile, but it actually fit into my dell inspiron 530 so thats always good. I think soon I will buy another and sli them together.
Cons: none, a really good deal for the budgeter.

Awsome Card
Pros: Great Card Handles everything i throw at it plays assassins creed, GTA 4 and COD4 with ease no lag and very cheap didn't have to replace my stock 300 watt Power Supply recommended for a tight budget and if you want half decent looking games.
Cons: None to report
Other Thoughts: i recommend using this card if u don't want to swap out any of your stock parts

Its pretty fast
Pros: This is a very stable, and fairly quick video card. It is a great card for a beginner. One thing I will say, is that it is capable of running Crysis on high settings. Not very high, but high. Overall its a great card, and I haven't had any problems from it yet.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: None

Great for Blu-Ray
Pros: My HTPC plays Blu-Ray discs on my LG GGC-H20L drive using PowerDVD 8 Ultra perfectly.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Previously had a Nvidia 8500GT in my HTPC which played DVDs/.AVI/.MKV OK but struggled with Blu-Ray (stutters and hangs). Popped in this 9500GT and the latest Nvidia reference drivers and away she went. No problems whatsoever now :)

correcting the 12/3/2008 review
Pros: Good if your looking ot make a HTPC or casual gaming machine. ex. (World of Warcraft, Sims 2, Spore, and Source based games.)
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: For the guy that thought it was only 1000MHz, I know it may say 1000MHz, but you need to rember that it is DDR meaning double data rate. so your 1000MHz is 2000MHz effective. Your card is fine.

Good Card
Pros: Runs well out the box. Works on my low end psu! increased my Vista raing for gaming from a 4.7(7600 GT) to a 5.6!
Cons: Maybe, a issue with GPU memory speed!
Other Thoughts: On here it states 2000 Memory Clock. But when I looked at the Nvidea Control Panel on my computer it say 1000 MHz. I don't really know if that is the same thing I sure hope not. The GPU core is 600 MHz just like listed here.
