Very veritily
Pros: Fast, quite, It has handled everything that I've thrown at it.
Cons: It pretty big. not a huge problem unless you have a really cramped case but, it took some rearranging to get it in.
Other Thoughts: It's a bit of a power hog so make sure you have a big enough power supply

Impressive Heat Sink
Pros: Great Card, the heat tubes are a great way to keep card cool and quiet. Installed on Vista 32 no problem.
Cons: Installaton was tight with Heat shrink tubes and fins coming underneath card coming close to hitting memory modules on motherboard

heats up quickly
Pros: Works! I've had more than my share of cards that either won't work at all or are severely limited without drivers, this card on the other hand works like a charm without touching the disk.
Cons: No fan and the heat sink gets really hot almost immediately, some cable and airflow management is a must.
Other Thoughts: Spec wise, it seems to be a little over priced...

Heck of a lot better then integrated
Pros: Way out performs the integrated graphics that I had. Put it in my HP a6650f and everything runs beautifully.
Cons: Had to go to the ATI website to get the drivers.
Other Thoughts: It can run half life2 episode 2 on the lowest settings at 150-180 fps. At the highest settings it runs around 20-50 fps.

Pros: Gret card for the price. You would think it would cool down your CPU as much but it did,CPU was running about 50C now it's high 30s to low 40s. I had to trim my heatsink fins on one of the chipsets, no problem . I haven't had any problem so far.
Cons: None right now

Greta card
Pros: Great card for the money. If you're rebuilding an old PC and you need a good card without breaking your bank, this is it. Runs all of my games on high settings no problem.
Cons: The only game I can't get to run is Mass Effect. Even on low settings, it still stutters pretty badly. Not even Crysis runs that bad. May not be the card's problem, though, so who knows.
Other Thoughts: Big heatsink, but everyone's already pointed this out.

Runs Blistering HOT!
Pros: Looks kool.
Cons: You could fryn an egg on the heatsink. Seriously.
Other Thoughts: It's probably work fine of you had a blizzard going accross its heatsink

Warning
Pros: Great quiet card
Cons: Will NOT fit in an EVG* 780i MB...northbridge fan is TOO close for it to install (large heatsink is on TOP of the card)..luckily I had another PC to put it in, otherwise would have had to return...

Great Card
Pros: This card is EXCELLENT! For the price, it gets the job well done. For gaming, it is limited to the settings you can have, but still puts out a great image. It stays really cool for the size.
Cons: Large card! It takes up a lot of space so be ready to move some stuff around or say good bye to a nearby slot.
Other Thoughts: It is probably one of the best cards out there without a fan. Probably runs better than half of the others in its price range.

Solid HD Video Performance
Pros: We purchased this card for an aging PC that we use to present videos through presentation software. We are beginning to show more and more HD material so we wanted to get the best card that was compatible and this was it - IT WORKS PERFECTLY. No stuttering of any video material, even when shown through our presentation software. (The presentation software can be a bit of a memory hog.)
Oh, and the card just looks cool.
Cons: None. It is a powerful card with a Zalman cooler built-in so it is larger than the average card, but come on, that's to be expected.

Nice Card
Pros: No fan, GDDR3.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Before I had a motherboard with PCIE 2.0 this was my gaming card. Worked well in Flight Simulator X, even on high settings, never overheated. However your case must have good airflow. If you still have a PCIE that is not 2.0 and you want quiet, then this is the card to get.

Cool Card (Literally!)
Pros: Not Bad! Performance increase was noticeable and due to it's omission of a fan for the inclusion of the ZALMAN iSilence cooler - it's so silent that you can't even tell that it's in there!
Cons: BIG heatsink - I had to do a minor casemod just to get it to fit. As other reviews have stated, it also may render a nearby slot useless due to size.
Other Thoughts: If you don't mind spending the extra extra cash - I say go for it!

HIS Radeon HD2600XT iSilence III
Pros: Looks great. Performs very well. Doesn't require extra power. Plays nicely with Vista & OS X. QUIET!?! (Duh!! :-) )
Cons: Kinda pricey for outdated tech. But I guess if you figure in the price of the Zalman cooler, it works out about right.
Other Thoughts: Running this in a Vista/OS X dual boot and it's great! Haven't tried any games yet, but I'm sure it will be fine for the casual gamer like me.

Great video card
Pros: Easy to install. Finding and installing the latest drivers was easy.
Cons: Be aware that there are heat sinks on both sides of the card. Make sure you have the space.

Great Card
Pros: Runs very smoothing with all games I have played with it so far, including MOH Airborne, and with high graphic levels. Runs rather cool in my system, an xps 400/Dimension 9150. I put a fan directly over top of it just to keep it even cooler.
Cons: I wish I would have waited a week as there is now a $20 off rebate... to late now. Make sure you have a free pci slot directly below your pci 16x as the heatsink extends down a little.
Other Thoughts: Before buying, note that this takes up a pci express 16x, as well as whatever pci slot you have directly below. This is because of the rather large, but very effective heat sinks. Great graphics card and I would definitely recommend!!

Great Card
Pros: I replaced the ATI 300 SE card with this one and the difference it amazing. I'm very surprised at the improvement in just watching TV on my monitor. Call of Duty 4 plays just fine. I am very happy with this card. It's nice and quiet, too.
Cons: None so far.

Nice card
Pros: VERY quiet, mostly due to the fact that there isn't a fan on it. I'm not a gamer, I just wanted a card that could handle everything I would ever do and also needed one that would suit my new 24" monitor. Running at 1600x1200 looks amazing!
Cons: Both sides of the card are kind of wide, making the whole card quite wide. Luckily, the side toward the processor BARELY cleared my northbridge heat sink. So... buyer beware if you have anything close to your pci-e port make sure you have enough space!
Other Thoughts: Newegg is awesome! I wish some of these big box stores would TRY to compete.... i feel bad for the folks working at Circuit City.

Good cards for gaming.
Pros: I bought 2 of these a little more than a year ago they played all my games awesome Cs:s was great.
Cons: One of them quit on me about 2 months after having it, but my gaming didnt cease over one dieing continued to use the one card for a long time.
Other Thoughts: I also bought two of these for crossfire before they had the heatsink mine had fans on them :). Recently about 3 months ago upgraded to a 1gig/256bit Hd4850 -- Totally worth it getting twice as much fps in all games as i was with 2 of these.. and the details/graphics are insane.

A word of caution
Pros: No fan, of course. Outputs Blu-Ray without issue, rather attractive looking, IMO
Cons: The heatsink is probably larger than you think. I assume it's not a hardcore gamer's cup of tea, but I don't use it for that.
Other Thoughts: I'm using this in an HTPC build with a ASUS microATX board and I cannot use RAM with a heatsink because the heatsink from this board sits directly above the RAM sticks. I had to swap the RAM to get things fitting correctly, and I assume you'd have similar issues on any MicroATX board. But there is no fan, which more than makes up for the inconvenience.

So far so good - eagerly awaiting open source drivers
Pros: Fanless, works great in my quiet PC build. This card *just* barely fit in my Shuttle S31G2 barebone chassis. The front heat sink clears the case side by a few millimeters, and the rear heat sink scrapes but doesn't interfere with seating the drive bay cage. I've had no problems on my Gentoo Linux installation driving a 1920x1200 monitor at full resolution in both 2D and 3D. I've noticed that the open source Xorg radeon driver provides better 2D acceleration, but tends to leave the card idling about 8 deg C hotter than the ATI fglrx driver. There is no Xorg 3D driver yet, so I'm currently using the ATI fglrx drivers for their 3D support.
Cons: Once it's been running for a while, don't touch that heat sink! Your finger will thank you for keeping your distance. The rear heat sink completely consumes the remaining PCI slot in my S31G2.
Other Thoughts: This was the best-performing fanless ATI card I could find at this time for my quiet workstation build. I'm not a gamer, but do need 3D for CAD and the occasional run down the slopes with Planet Penguin Racer. I also wanted open source drivers eventually, and bought this card believing that ATI would soon release the necessary RV630 programming info for 3D. Just last week they finally got the 3D documentation out! I'm happy that this purchase helped support that effort. The Xorg developers did a great job on the open source 3D drivers for my old Radeon 9200, and I'm hoping for even better results eventually with this new hardware. Go Xorg! Go ATI!

The card works
Pros: Vista found the driver and installed it. The card works well, and is very quiet. The games (FIFA 07,08,09, Age of Empires II & III, Company of Heroes) I play work well.
Cons: The vista windows experience gaming graphics went down from 5.6 to 5.4 when I replaced the previous NVIDEA GeForce 8600 GT.
Other Thoughts: Gigabyte 965GM-S2 3.25 GB RAM Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6600 @ 2.40GHz

not worth the headache
Pros: graphics are nice...
Cons: clock speeds arent whats advertised. shotty drivers cause hardward interrupts. my games ran smoother on my x1800. i have to play on all low settings until my nvidia card comes, and it still hiccups. save yourself the trouble, hit back and look for another card.
Other Thoughts: switching to nvidia.

Fair
Pros: easy install, cool looking
Cons: Limited info for user manual. softweare was also limited and no real updates to speak of this kard is short of existing.
Other Thoughts: Great card may not recoment for Gaming, other media this card rocks. silent is a feature in high demand.

I'm impressed
Pros: This card seems to work like crazy. Popped it in, installed drivers and Ray Adams A.T.I. tools ver. 1.6 and WOW. This thing let me completely max out Left 4 Dead on 1280x1024 resolution and I was still pulling around 40 FPS.
Cons: This card is big, well actually the heat sink is really big.
Other Thoughts: I cant wait to get another one and run these in crossfire mode......

Excellent Mid-Range Card
Pros: I have had this in my system for about six months now. Running an Intel D975XBX motherboard with Intel E6600 CPU. OS is Ubuntu 8.04. Does everything I need it do - Google Earth is probably the most intensive thing I do though. Very silent as well.
Cons: None

Good deal
Pros: This card is very good for any consumer. The price combined with the amount of performance you get out of it is well worth the money. The Zalman system seems to do what it claims. I am a paranoid cooling person, so I installed a PCI slot fan underneath to cool the heatsink. It raised the Vista Aero Experience Index to 5.9, and the gaming graphics to 5.4. I ran Half-Life 2 with maxed settings in 1024x768, and with the fan, it only reached 42 C, It can also run all the other games I have tried, and although I haven't tried extremely high quality, I am sure that this card could handle it, especially with an ATI crossfire setup.
Cons: The heatsink is very big. This is a large card, and it covers up one of my PCI slots, but that's not a problem for me. I do recommend that you measure how much space it would take up inside your case. The only thing that I really have a problem with is that is 128-bit.
Other Thoughts: Just do your research and make sure this card is right for you. It's a great card for the price.

Nice card.
Pros: I upgraded to the card for HDPC support. Nice card, and cheap. I am a fanless guy, and this thing looks awesome in the case with the Zalman heat sink. Raised my Vista score from 4.1 to 5.4, now my had drives are the slow link in the chain.
Cons: I had to uninstall all the ATI add on software as it caused my boot time to increase dramatically. I am not a gamer, so no big deal for me.
Other Thoughts: None.

Great choice for older Machines
Pros: Out of the box, the first thing You will notice are the Zalman heat pipes on the face of the card. This is a well made Product that does exactly what it claims to do. It is silent (which reduced the overall sound level of My computer by half), and it is a significant upgrade over My old Radeon X800 card. I get decent framerates in AoC, WoW, and DDO. Can't beat it for the $100 You spend on it!
Cons: BIG!!! It covers the PCIe x4 slot (Don't think anyone really uses that slot anyway), But PLEASE, MAKE SURE you have enough room to install this card! The heat sink fins on the back of the card extend out somewhere between 1 1/2 and 2 inches. NOT a big deal if You have the room for it, though.
Other Thoughts: Card runs better with "hacked" drivers. (You know, Omega, NGO, etc.....look it up on the web) My old X800 was barely able to run AoC, and with this card it runs great. Can't offer an OC opinion because I have a XPS400 that is too unstable to to even do a small amout of OC without crashing (Thank You, DELL >:( ). Overall, This is a winner for the price in the mid-range of video cards.

Fanless Design
Pros: Fanless design, easy setup. Never overheats. Great picture on HD TV and monitors. Excellent card for the price.
Cons: The heatsink on this thing is massive. Almost as big as the one for my 6400+ Black CPU. Almost touches the CPU heatsink.
Other Thoughts: Make sure you have a well ventilated case, it is large enough to restrict airflow.

Awsome
Pros: No noise from it. Never overheated my not so well ventilated case. HTPC perfect! Audio transferred to my HD plasma perfectly.
Cons: The only one I can think of is its not the ultimate gaming card

Great mid gaming card
Pros: Great card for low budget gaming systems. I was able to play Gears of War with this card at above 30 fps.
Cons: For a few months the video on s-video to my tv was darker than normal. Seemed to fix itself now though. Newer ati drivers/catalyst seemed to have made video playback not possible on a second monitor (tv through s-video).

Nice
Pros: fan-less, audio over HDMI
Cons: big
Other Thoughts: Using this card in my Media Center pc. It's fanless design is great for keeping noise down. The audio over HDMI allowed me to take out my audio card and save power/space inside the pc, plus eliminate some cables behind my cabinet. Only issue is the size of the heatsink on this thing. It is big enough that if I fill up all of my memory slots, the heatsink rests on top of the memory sticks. Not a problem right now because I just moved my memory to the unaffected slots.

Good stuff
Pros: Great resolution. Doesn't stretch everything on my widescreen monitor. Good HIDEF.
Cons: Has problems playing some streaming media(netflix). Some kind of compatiability issue with netflis media player and the cards drivers. Maybe they'll get it fixed.
Other Thoughts: The S-Video is a little tricky to get hooked up. May just be my case though.

Pros: This video card plays everything I give it now I can play Assassin's Creed, and GH3 at max settings it even plays all my classics like KOTOR and it's cheap
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: This is my first PCI-e video card when I read other reviews saying they could run Assassin's Creed as max settings I decided to buy it and have not looked back

Excellent 1080P HTPC Card
Pros: Video Overlay/Processing is Excellent. Play any of your favorite movie files, this card will show every detail in vibrant colors, of course in 1080P!!
Cons: Big Heat Sink Pipes makes this card so much taller. I had to modify my LianLi Micro ATX Case, PCV300B.
Other Thoughts: Silent Operation, no problem at all, I had my PC on 24/7 for last six months.

Play Wow
Pros: I bought this to help with lag while playing WOW. It brought my FPS up to 60 normally – upper 40’s by the AH in Ironforge. I think it is worth the money.
Cons: I had some problems determining what drivers were needed – I do not like to install the manufactures software.

Like it so far
Pros: Works great so far. I love all the adapters it comes with, they let you expand on what you want to use for a monitor.
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: I haven't tried it with any games yet but I'm sure it will be great. This is the first ATI card i bought.

Pros: Can take all the source games at highest settings. Runs cool with full load. I wasnt a fan of fanless hardware and this card has changed my mind.
Cons: Having trouble getting the ATI CCC to OC the card.

Pros: Cheap and powerful. I can run Assassin's Creed on full settings and it doesn't hesitate at all. Also, it does not generate much heat when playing at full settings.
Cons: The heat sink is on the "wrong" side. I am using this with a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L and the heat sink for this video card sits about 1/4 inch above and 1/4 inch away from the North bridge heat sink. Only a minor con though. I worried at first but then I realized it isn't that big of a deal.
Other Thoughts: Make sure you draw a mental image, or better yet a physical image on paper, of the components you plan to purchase and build your system with before actually buying them.

Beautiful
Pros: When I first opened it, it brought tears to my eyes how beautiful this card is. Played Blu-ray on 1080p it kills. (in a good way) It murders the, meaning of HD!
Cons: If only it has 256 bit or more:(
Other Thoughts: I NEED TO GET THE NEW GAME GRID!

HIS
Pros: Great board. I never used an ATI card but this thing rocks. I am not a big gammer but I built this for my son. It plays all the games in max modes and runs a lot cooler then expected. The caes I used is well cooled (5 fans) I used and ASUS MB(ASUS M2R32-MVP) 4 gig Kingsto value ram and 2 of these and an AMD X2 6000+ Also I am using XP Pro 64 bit..HIS Is new to me but I am very impressed. I will use these cards again in other builds!! Also I am using XP Pro 64 bit.
Cons: People coplain about the size of these and other powerful cards. They need to mesure the space that they have and almost always count on loosing a slot.
Other Thoughts: Newegg rocks!!

Excellent Card
Pros: It has run everything I've thrown at it. C&C Tiberium Wars at on Ultra High at 1440x900 resolution and no hiccups whatsoever. World In Conflict most settings enabled and it runs fine but not at full resolution though. Other games I've tried: Lost Planet, Supreme Commander & Forged Alliance.
Cons: DirectX 10 can be enabled in World In Conflict and Lost Planet but the performance hit almost makes it not worth it. Lost Planet just seems to have poor coding for ATI and doesn't run that great no matter what combination of settings is used.
Other Thoughts: Part of a new build I did and is coupled with a Core 2 Duo E8400 and 2GB of Corsair DDR2 800mhz RAM.

Excellent Card!!
Pros: Great Video Overlay. Movies on 1080P LCD looks amazing!!
Cons: Zalman heat sink is way too big for Micro ATX case. I had to use my Dremel to grind/modify the case.
Other Thoughts: Solid VGA card that produces vivid video imaging when used with HD TV. Use this card with DVI-HDMI cable for HTPC, you won't regret!!

Absolutely amazing!!!!!!!
Pros: This card has run everything I have thrown at it. Runs GH3/Guild Wars/Halo2/Flight Simulator X/Americas Army at full settings without even a hiccup. Never gone above 70*C (Even OCed at 900MHz via catalyst control center). Scores a 5.9 on the Windows Experience Index (I believe a 5.9 is the highest rating you can get).
Cons: Uhhhhhh, the heatsink is a little big. I covers up one of my PCI slots. But other than that? None whatsoever!!!!
Other Thoughts: If you need a good video card, and you are on a budget, then this one is for you!!!!! Never installed the drivers off the disc. I went straight to ATI's website to download the most current drivers.

Nice Card
Pros: This card has run everything I have thrown at it without any hesitation. I run WoW with all settings at max. The fanless design is a nice feature, although my tower is loud on its own. You cannot beat its performance for the price.
Cons: The fanless design does generate a bit more heat then I like, but my case has great airflow so I don't worry about it.
Other Thoughts: Core2Duo E6320 1066FSB, 2Gb DDR2 533, 250Gb SATA2 HDD, 500 Watt PSU.

Very nice card
Pros: Nice passive cooling system Dual DVI connections
Cons: Does run warmish, had to add a fan to feel comfortable in my case
Other Thoughts: If you have a case with great airflow you will not need a fan, mine did for me to feel comfortable with the GPU temp level

HTPC Choice
Pros: Does a good job for HTPC/mild gaming duties that I require. ATI understands HD, NVidia understands gaming. I was not worried that some random feature HTPC required would not be met by the card. Quiet is good, but see below
Cons: I am not sure that silent is the best way to go for quiet. The heat has to get out one way or another, so I ended up putting another fan in my case. I guess I'm paranoid, 60C seemed too high for normal operation, not enough margin if I do something that stresses the GPU more. I'm thinking that many low-speed fans is better than fewer high speed fans, but that's for another day.

Great!
Pros: SILENT - that's why I bought it for a HTPC. Built in HDMI.
Cons: Heatsink gets quite hot in my setup. Heatsink is quite large as well, but that's the price you pay for silence.

Very good quiet video card
Pros: * Good performance * Silent (no fan) and good heat management * HDCP support * HDMI adapter with audio support
Cons: * Lack of Quality Control * Audio driver installation not intuitive
Other Thoughts: Overall, this card is exactly what I was looking for in my HTPC. Its silent, the heatpipe works great and supports HD decodes (for the future). The support for HDMI is good but I have a separate Dolby Digital Live card so I don't used this connection or on-card sound chip. The card is installed in a CoolerMaster CM Media 280 case with 3 120mm fans. The heatpipe only gets warm to the touch.
On the negative side, the small aluminum piece with HIS log covering the screws of the heatsink was not securely attached. Its not a big deal as the cooling is probably better w/o the metal piece but a sign of lacking quality control. Also, the installation of driver for onboard audio is not intuitive.
Overall, a very good card. I'll be installing a Blueray drive soon so we'll see how the card holds up to high-def content. Since it already supports high-def 1080i signal from OTA cards, I don't expect any problems.

great card
Pros: Works right out of box and runs really cool for fanless (even compared with fan'd cards). Before ATI driver is installed the card actually runs very hot (still not too bad compare with some other fanless cards). After instaling the ATI driver there is only a slight warmth to the touch
Cons: Not tried game yet
Other Thoughts: Maybe not for hardcore gamer but good enough for me. I just don't like cards with fans

Awesome!
Pros: This product has Sound + Audio over HDMI. With an HDMI receiver, this will eliminate about 4 - 5 speaker wires going to the receiver. This card has HDCP, Blu-ray and HD-DVD playback are of top quality and have yet to be matched by standalone units. This card can play Team Fortress 2 MAX DETAIL at 1920x1080 with over 200 fps with an Athlon X2 Processor. Do not believe what they tell you about needing a much more substantial card to run high resolutions, this will do the job. No fan! Idles @ 37C with my fans on low.
Cons: NONE!!
I had to break off the PCI-e retention clip because i had to have carnival freak-show fingers in order to reach the clip with the fanless heatsink.

Bang for Buck
Pros: As long as you have some air flow this card keeps very cool. I had the fan version before and it kept getting very hot so I traded it for this one. It run SOOOO much cooler and of course, it's QUITE. Great for HTPCs. Oh, by the way, unless you are an insane gamer this card will be more then powerful enough for all your needs.
Cons: It's big so make sure your case will have room for it.
Other Thoughts: The mini heatsinks on the memory are a big help in the cooling in my opinion.

Better than I hoped...
Pros: Out of the box it felt like quality, esp. with the Zalman heatsink. Fit like a glove with other MB components-- not that big compared to many current cards. Runs ca. 63 deg. C. Mostly do GIS, video, & other graphics (2D) & I get very fast & sharp screen redraws.
Cons: None so far-- will report back if heat (my only concern) becomes an issue.
Other Thoughts: Had never used HIS products before. Was pleasantly surprised.

Runs a tad hot, but delivers as advertised!
Pros: Silent card using some of the (as of current date) best components. Crossfire compatibility, absolutely beautiful playback for media content.
Cons: It's large due to the heatsink, so unless you really check your mobo layout, you might lose a slot or two.
Hot. The first time I ran this card, I burned myself when I accidentally touched the heatpipe after shutdown. That said, GPU temps were well within the norms, so no worries (just means that the heatsink was doing it's job, card itsemf was just fine to touch). Not a con so much as a warning.
Other Thoughts: It'd be nice to have the design of the heat pipes run less obtrusively, but that would negate much of the efficience IMO, still I can dream...
Otherwise, if you're looking for a strong card (specifically for a DAW or similar application), then this is the way to go.

Nice Video Card
Pros: Of course it is quiet. That is why I choose it. also runs cool, or at least not too hot with good case ventilation.
Cons: The heatpipes go on top hence reduce its compatibility with many cases. It would be best if it was go through end of card.
Other Thoughts: I have to mod case to let it installed.

Pros: Great price for a great video card, plays video exceptionally well, cheap and efficient.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: This card is great and an overall improvement from my last one. If you want HD and are on a budget, guaranteed this is the best, or one of the best for you. Only Con is myself. Can't really max out BF2 or games and need a wider, bigger monitor. Sucks having only a 16" LCD. Other than that, it's still great and works great on my PC. Buy it and you won't regret it!

Number 2 !!!
Pros: great HDMI output, games run very smooth in most high settings, excellent card for graphic design users. But most of all runs in crossfire very well I own one and am ordering a new one soon!! (bring on Call of duty 4!)
Cons: The width of the (black) back heat spreader will cover a slot or two in crossfire mode (depending on your motherboard slot setup). Drivers with the card are useless... I recomend getting updates from amd/ati out of the box. othrwise all is well.
Other Thoughts: If you have the space in your setup this card in crossfire will shurely last the next year of games at least!
