Pros: Has no fan or need for external power connection.
Cons: Does run slightly warmer than my older on with fan.
Other Thoughts: All and all I'm happy with this video card.

Does a nice job for a budget build...
Pros: Decent videocard, gets the job done for my parents.
...and the price was right.
Cons: Wait a while before working in your case, the heatsink gets VERY hot.

No S-VIDEO, otherwise fine
Pros: Cheap, small, fanless. Does the job, supports vdpao under linux.
Cons: Does *not* have the s-video out that is shown in the graphics. Didn't notice this until I went to use it a couple months after I ordered, otherwise I would have returned them.
It does come with an s-video cable, which doesn't really make sense.
Other Thoughts: Other than that it wouldn't work for what I bought it for, it's a decent card.

Works Great
Pros: I bought it for my decidedly non-tech sister's birthday. She was able to install it with ease. She downloaded new drivers for it (the ones that shipped were out-dated) and had it up and running in minutes.
Cons: None that we've found.
Other Thoughts: It's a good card for the price. It went into a 3 year old under-powered computer and is providing a lot of power for gaming.

Nice Card
Pros: Decent card for the price. You probably can't play the most demanding games with it. I'm running windows 7 with aero turned on just fine. I've been playing Bioshock just fine in 1920x1400 at top speed and it works like a charm.
Cons: None

Cooked after 5 months
Pros: Fine video, for a non gamer seemed powerful enough, lower power consumption than some other cards
Cons: Cooked after 5 months. I should have had greater airflow through case, but if your case is so loud that sort of defeats the point of a fanless card.
Other Thoughts: Works great if you have good airflow, I suppose my case could be better in that respect, and I could run more fans on it. Now I would likely go for a gt 240, which has more processing power and similar power consumption (also comes in fanless, though right now limited options).

DOA
Pros: Good price
Cons: DOA No output from this card
Other Thoughts: at $50 per card it is not worth RMA process. spent half hour verifying this card is DOA. Fails in once working PC's. Known good cards work in the system that this card fails in.

Works as promised
Pros: Works well with windows 7. Plays Borderlands reasonable well on medium settings.
Cons: none yet
Other Thoughts: Installed on an older Athlon64 x2 2.0ghz with 2gb of ram.

Works OK
Pros: It works without overheating in my AMD Athlon X4 rig.
Cons: It's not as fast as I'd hoped. Benchmarks show it runs at the same speed as a video card I bought 3 years ago, an NVidia GeForce 8600GT. I would have thought it would have beat the pants off of it, but no dice.
Other Thoughts: Even though it's no faster than an 8600GT, it's 10x faster than onboard video! Plus - it's a cheap price for a video card, and well worth considering if you're on a tight budget.

Nice upgrade for Windows Vista / 7
Pros: Fanless, doesn't require additional power connectors. Took my Vista Experience score from 3.9 to 5.2, replacing a 7600GS that, although adequate when purchased, is no longer good enough for any kind of serious 3D. The 7600GS struggled with the dual-head Aero display, with some weird glitching on the VGA port, and problems pulling EDID information from the dual-head KVM it's hooked up to.
This card had no such problem. Everything worked out of the box, and the VGA port is as clear as the DVI. The standard Nvidia drivers work with it - I didn't even have to update the driver after replacing the card!
Cons: Didn't have a DVI-VGA adapter. Came with a S-Video cable, but there was no S-Video port on the card!
Has CUDA Compute Capability 1.1, so some of the later CUDA-enabled applications can't use it.
Other Thoughts: Not a speed demon, but more than enough for dual-head with all the desktop pretties turned on. Stable, quiet, and inexpensive.

Pros: easy to install and cheap no problems so far.
Cons: runs on the hot side
Other Thoughts: got this card when my 8600 died. runs wow and spore fine but not much better then the 8600. the lack of a fan and the way my cases air flow is setup worries me will get a fan to help cool the card. I used the nvida drivers not the ones from sparkle.

DVI good; VGA not
Pros: Nice price, no fan, runs cool enough, easy setup, crisp video with DVI.
Cons: VGA quality poor. Fonts were noticeably fuzzy when compared with the VGA signal from my old on-board GPU. Using the DVI-d port, looks fine.
Other Thoughts: Perhaps the VGA problem is just my card (haven't seen any similar problems reported here). The card works great with Linux (Ubuntu 9.10).

Performing as expected.
Pros: Purchased because the motherboard I have didn't include integrated video. Recognized without a hitch in Ubuntu and meets my performance needs. Fanless. Inexpensive.
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: Used for my low-energy low-noise home file server running Ubuntu.

driver issues
Pros: best card around for the $....super-fast, free shipping!
Cons: had issues when installing the drivers from the CD supplied by Sparkle. Downloaded the drivers from nvidia which fixed the problems
Other Thoughts: i gave it 4 eggs instead of 5 simply because of the driver issues...nothing to do with the card itself, just the drivers supplied by sparkle CD. other than that, i love the card

Good Deal
Pros: Cheap, cheap, cheap. I bought in with a 400W power supply combo deal with a super Black Friday deal.
Driver install had no issues...had been running NVidia drivers anyway.
Quiet(no fan) which is nice cuz the new power supply fan is much more noisy than my old 300W
Cons: Sparkle Quick Install Guide (not so quick) Step 6: Plug in card power...came with no cable or place to plug-in except maybe a j8 jumper to which I have no cable from my power supply to do that. Works fine without being "plugged in" so maybe that was for a different card or HD or something. Let's just say it made me feel stupid for a few seconds.
Other Thoughts: Specs: Dimension E521 Dual Core now with 400w power supply and this card. 3 gigs of RAM Windows XP
Played wii emulator with much better FPS ie. paper mario, animal crossing. Older games like Spore and Sim games could be run at med/full graphics with little to no lag. This card is good for the average person, but not if you are a super gamer of which I am not.

It's quite good, but also just OK.
Pros: I got this card to run Win 7 aero better and have some more output options, and it seems to handle aero quite well. I have an ATI Radeon 3850 512mb (Sapphire silent) that kept having display crashes under Win 7, but this one works good for it and I have not had a display crash yet. Performance rating under Win 7 did go from 5.9 down to 4.5, but who really cares when it works. Cheap.
Cons: Although I wasn't going to be using this card for any gaming or 3D applications, I did expect it to have a little better performance in Photoshop and general photo-editing than it does. It has serious lag when doing semi-intensive photo editing, whereas the ATI 3850 has smooth action without lag. I know these cards are different entities, I just didn't expect the performance difference in such applications to be so dramatically different. So I cannot recommend this card for photo editing and the like.
Other Thoughts: For the price it is definitely a good buy, and it will serve many a PC being used for video and general computing. Since I would like to have better photo editing performance and also an NVIDIA, I think I'll look into getting a 220 or something like it. For now ATI has kind of burned me since I've experience display crashes on 2 PC's with ATI's on them (3650 and 3850). The PC this Sparkle card runs on has a Biostar TF8200 mobo A2+, 4gb of gskill ddr800 ram, amd dual core 6400 cpu, Antec SonataIII with 500w psu.

bad idea on a no fan design
Pros: Easy to open the box and install it.
Cons: Runs way too hot. I installed a 120mm fan to blow through the heat sink fins and it still runs to hot. When not in game mode and just complete idle. It runs at 117 Fahrenheit. In game mode its between 130-140. Save 15$ More and go buy a decent card. Atleast avoid fan-less designs. Also its clocked so ridiculously low. I over clocked it from 550 to 580 safely but any higher and it pixelates. Dont mess to much its a el-cheapo. Snatch a EVGA.
Other Thoughts: I'm going to melt this card just for the fun.

good for the price
Pros: has an extremely good bang to buck ratio, not a very powerful card but dirt cheap also no fans == silent, the loudest thing in my system is the hard drive
Cons: it is a cheap card so it's not a heavyweight, but if you don't demand the absolute best this isn't a problem
Other Thoughts: I had very low expectations for this card, I was planning on replacing it in a month or two, as I just needed something to get me by, but I might stick with this card for a while longer than I expected.

Well worth the money
Pros: Incrediable video card. For 50 dollars, getting a 1 gb card, with dual monitors and a tv out it's well worth the money.
Cons: Didn't come with a DVI to VGA adapter but I had one laying around

Sparkling Value
Pros: I had brought this card as a replacement for my girlfriends daughter PC. It took the place of a e-GeForce 7600 GT (also a NewEgg purchase) which blew about 6 caps. I installed the video card a few days back with no problems what so ever. Turned the PC on, the card was recognize and it was all good. Updated the nVidia drivers and adjusted the resolution and its been good since. For what the card is and such, I couldn't be more pleased. Good prcie for a PC that does moderate gaming and Internet browsing. Mind you this is for a teenage girl. A diffident recommended buy for a low to medium preforming PC that doesn't require use intense of high demanding graphics.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Asus A8AE-LE (AmberineM)-HP motherboard 2 GB DDR Memory Vista Ultimate 32-bit OS 180 GB Hard Drive

HOT VERY HOT!!!
Pros: 8-10x faster than the on-board graphics 6150se.
Maxes out EVE at 1080p
Ez to install
Warranty.
Cons: HOT!!!!
59c at idle
atleast 74+c at load and this is only like 15 minutes of gaming.
Other Thoughts: It's more of my fault than Sparkles that the card is so hot, since I have bad airflow in my HP case and it has no fans.
Going to spend $20 on two case fans, hopefully brings the temp down by 10+c
Could of bought a 9500gt with a fan.

Great Price
Pros: Brought my Win7 x64 to a 5.2 rating for aero; 5.9 rating for gaming with slight OC and new driver DL'd from NVIDIA. Better than 3.3 and 3.0 for a 7200GS. Passive cooling. Works fine with CHEAP 385 watt PS.
Cons: NONE except FIND OPTIMAL button not available in Win 7, but thats a software issue.
Other Thoughts: Used Nvidia performance in XP to find optimal clock speeds- had a FIND OPTIMAL button to self check. Then applied them in 7. This button isn't available in Win7 x64. Never gets above 52C in my case. My board is only 1.0 compliant :(

Dead after 8 months
Pros: Very silent.. no fan. Worked fine w/o problems for 8 months and then just died. Called support for replacement. Have VGA and DVI and S Video.. good stuf.
Cons: Driver had to loaded from a very slow web site. Hot when high graphics is consumed. Had to installed a fan near the slot. Not amazing graphic performance but good for more then normal use.
Other Thoughts: Not much other option at this price for value... good to have it as tester or backup card.

Works well in Ubuntu
Pros: Silent operation, doesn't seem to run to hot. Works great in my Ubuntu 8.10 box with the latest nvidia drivers. Now running Compiz with all the bells and whistles turned on.
Cons: none.
Other Thoughts: I am using this through a IO Gear KVM switch (DVI)

works great
Pros: I bought this primarily for the DVI output on my Presario. I'm not a gamer, but it renders the photo-realistic 3D GoogleEarth buildings without any lag. Win 7 recognized it right away and I was GTG. The price was also quite nice.
Cons: none

Pros: Quiet. Easy install. Did not need additional power cord.Stunning Video. Raised Vista Graphics to 5.1. Runs COD 4 MW with Ease & unbelievable Clarity. Runs COD 5 WAW smooth, I think my Proccessor is what slows the game down.
Cons: Runs a little hot..After 3 hours on COD 4 i get a little glitching...Not anything to worry about.
Other Thoughts: I had a geforce 8500 that burned out. I bought a little fan from Target and put in back to keep my computer cool and seems to help.

cool card for cool price
Pros: fast card for moderate gaming. runs supreme commander well and even runs the expansion on highest settings. i couldn't be pleased any more with the three cards that i own.
Cons: The driver CD was somewhat flimsy and unstable compared to the catalyst control divers on the ATI brand cards. But all in all its worth the trouble.
Other Thoughts: these work great for light games that require little of the video cards capability. taxing it to much will jitter and slow the game to a crawl. still, its much better that the 2400, 3400 and 4850 ATI cards i owned before. But, if your MB supports SLI, then i recommend the 9400s that Gigabyte has. get two for 100$ and they dont need that pesky power plug on the back of the card. Despite what others say, this card is worth every cent.

Above Average Card
Pros: Easy to install and runs at a pretty low temperature. Very inexpensive for a card of this caliber. Runs Crysis and other benchmark games very well on medium-to-high settings.
Cons: None, except that VGA port is in sandwiched between DVI and HDMI, usually at either end. Not a big deal AT ALL.
Other Thoughts: For a non-SLI card, it runs quite smoothly. NewEgg shipped it fast and arrived on time!

Ok.. but doesn't last
Pros: This card has alot of onboard memory and can run most graphics heavy games. It is a great upgrade for lower end cards and doesn't have any software compatibility issues.
Cons: I have received two of these cards, the 1st one was defective from newegg.com after several months. I sent back the 1st one and the company was very good about sending a brand new 2nd card. I was told by the company that the 1st card had a manufacturer defect. The 2nd card has been running for a few months now, started giving me the same problem just yesterday. The company has send me another defective card which is also new in the box. This tells me that this company's craftmanship is NOT up to par if they are replacing a new defective card with a new defective card. The company is willing to replace it a third time and willing to possibly do a free upgrade upon an inspection of the 2nd card but I am not willing to wait for all of that so I will probably buy a more well known brand name and never use this company again. I expect alot more out of a company that is providing brand new computer parts but at the same time, if you buy cheap, it must be cheaply made!!
Other Thoughts: In this rare case, I cannot complain about the customer service at Sparkle because they have been very helpful, but do yourself a favor and spend $100 on a better card from a more well known company because if you want it to last more than a few months. This card is only good for that amount of time, unless you WANT little fine horizontal lines on your screen that bring down your overall resolution. Sparkle has lost a customer with me because of poor craftsmanship!

descent
Pros: runs old games great. I have no problem with CS, WoW.....
Cons: runs like a horse in knee deep mud. pulling 5fps in FALLEN EARTH....warlord2 is laggie as heck
Other Thoughts: descent for it's price if you are running old standard games, i honestly had no problem with it till I started purchasing more rescent games.

Pros: Moving up from a 256Mhz to this, was like a whole new world. Crystal clear pictures. Huge move. Easy to set up. No confusing steps to setup.
Cons: None

Way nicer than it should be for the price
Pros: Super super cheap. No fan. Works well. has DVI and VGA
Cons: Never heard of brand
Other Thoughts: Running windows 7 Pro 64 bit RTM, this card gives a 5.0 graphics score and a 5.9 Gaming Graphics score - significantly nicer than I thought it would. Running my 1600x1200 dell flat panel over DVI - it looks great. World of Warcraft plays very well - but it scales well anyway....

Excellent for the money!
Pros: This baby has what I need and more. I'm not into games, but I installed one of the popular, sci-fi, '09 games (forgot the name) and it ran without any problems. It is really reliable and works like a charm. Installation on XP: no problem!
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: Great price.

Great.
Pros: Runs great. Absolutely no problems. I can play all my games (COD4, Rainbow 6, Oblivion, ect.) great with no lag.
Cons: Runs kinda hot without a fan. I jimmied a fan onto the side of my case to give it a little bit of ventilation.
Other Thoughts: Would definitely recommend. I wouldn't trust the passive cooler though. If you don't have a fan pointed at it be sure to monitor the temperature with speedfan or a similar program.

Works great, no problem so far
Pros: Upgraded from a 256MB video card to this 1GB card for $50. Never have problems, graphics is decent. This card boosted my 3d rendering times compared to the 256mb card.
Cons: None so far

Decent card for the price
Pros: Extremely cheap, especially with the large amount of ram on board. Last gen titles like TF2 run fantastically at high texture.
Cons: Old architecture means DX 10 games kinda suffer, but for the price it's acceptable.
Other Thoughts: If you want a discrete card for a cheap box the buck stops here. I wouldn't buy anything else sub at this price point.

Good enough
Pros: runs everything(see below), passive cooling, good card for the price
Cons: a bit hot(see below), takes up two PCI slots but so does the higher dollar ones, passive cooling, Photoshop CS4 doesn't like something about it(can't remember right now what) but Photoshop still works, S-Video doesn't work very well with TVs
Other Thoughts: It can run Crysis and Crysis Warhead, Crysis on Low and Warhead on Medium, Fallout 3 on Medium but I run it on low for slightly better performance, Portal maxed out, Halo maxed out, Assassin's Creed Medium(I think, can't recall). It runs about 150 F, but I do live in a desert. I rigged a fan to keep it cooler, now it runs about 130ish F. But it's a lousy fan so a better fan would cool it better. S-Video on TVs is not that good looking, it takes a bit of tweaking in the NVIDIA Control Panel. Oh and get the latest drivers too.

Pros: It is a low end Video Card, but it was an upgrade from an Nvidia 7300. The difference is very noticeable. At least a 2 generation upgrade lets you know what you have been missing.
Cons: None has a heatsink only no fan but I don't miss the noise and it runs plenty cool.
Other Thoughts: Thanks Newegg, fast shipping and great prices make you my No.1 bookmark for eshopping.

Sweet deal
Pros: Great price. Major upgrade from onboard video (although that might not be saying much haha)
Overall I feel as though I got a great deal for the amount of money spent. I'm not a crazy gamer so I haven't even pushed this card to its limits but so far I have had 0 problems using this with XP pro. No complaints whatsoever.
Cons: No fan, only a giant heatsink.

Good Deal
Pros: Bought this during Shell Shocker for under $35. Works well with Vista Business. Good performance for my use which is editing videos.
Cons: Some minor issues when installing. I would say it is more of Vista issue since a coworker also bought one and had no problems with install on xp pro. I had to reboot and update the driver from the web site.
Other Thoughts: Got this during Shell Shocker deal for under $35. A 1gb 9400 for under $40 -- can't beat it. I don't game, but I do video editing and it fixed problems with performance. Old card would switch Vista to basic mode and playback during editing was slow and jerky.

Very Good Card
Pros: For the price I paid, this is a very good card. It runs UT3 at 1440x900 at fairly high settings without much problems. Evey time I load up a level the textures are blurry for about 3 seconds, then the hi res textures load and its fine, with nice smooth video even when theres alot happening in the game.
Cons: I get funny wavies every now and then. Almost like I can see the refresh on my monitor (19" AOC LCD Wide). I don't think I got this on my old card but I'm not sure. I haven't completely ruled out other possibilities but I do feel its 95% likely the card. It's not too intrusive.
Other Thoughts: For $20 or $30 more you could get a card with two or four times more power. Just something to consider before hitting the buy button.

A weird experience
Pros: Video seems OK
Cons: A videocard that destroys your audio
Other Thoughts: I bought one of these puppies, and it was a major disaster... but in the weirdest way. Video was fine. But every time something moved on the screen, it would make squeeks, squawks and bleeps in the audio. Move the mouse pointer? Screeeee! Progress bar? Chchchhhhh! I never dared watch a movie or play a game. It probably would have blown my speakers. RMA, please!!!

Love this Card
Pros: This card was easy to install, plug-n-play. I downloaded the drivers...no idea if the disk is good because I ALWAYS download drivers to get the latest. The card runs super quiet and I have never had it overheat. I play 3D games such as City of Heroes, and I have to tell you, I've never seen it look this good!
Cons: Does prevent use of the slot directly below it, but that's common with good video cards (most video cards actually)
Other Thoughts: This card is a total steal. For the price I paid and the quality I got, I feel like I should face prison time. I was hesitant because I've seen Sparkle get some bad reviews here and there...but being on a budget I risked it, and am glad I did.

Good Card for the money
Pros: Low cost. Good HTPC Performance in Vista. Silent in operation.
Cons: None to speak of
Other Thoughts: I paid $49 for this (cheapest videocard I ever bought) to replace a Radeon X300SE in a Dell E510-based HTPC setup. I was wary about its capabilities because of its cheap price but knew I could rely on Newegg's return policy in case I ran into problems. So far, I've been quite pleased with the card's performance. It's no gaming machine, for sure, but it fills its intended HTPC role quite nicely and I have no complaints about the picture quality. I am considering purchasing another one to replace the ATI Radeon HD4870 I have in my other HTPC because that one is hella loud compared to the sparkle (even with it's fanspeed set to only 30%)

Excellent Graphics Card For The Low Price
Pros: Great Graphics Card for the money!!! 1 Gb of video memory and both DVI and VGA adapters. My PC's LCD monitor is connected to the DVI port of this card, and the digital video is wonderful. I am extremely satisfied with the Product.
Cons: I have none.
Other Thoughts: There may be better graphics cards out there, but this is a bargain for the price, not to mention the one Gigabyte of Video memory.

THIS IS GREAT!!!
Pros: fast!!! I'm using Ubuntu 9.04, WINE and I'm playing command and conquer. I have never seen this game run this fast not even on a Microsoft computer!! I recommend this card for anyone using Linux. Perfect driver support no disk needed.
Cons: I'm shaking from the game speed. I actually had to SLOW the game down!!
Other Thoughts: Cheap card GREAT gaming excitement. I will use this card from now on when I build new computers.

Great card
Pros: This was a great card for the price. Its not a gaming card, but good for playing movies, video editing, etc. You can play older games on it and maybe even new games but on low settings. Card doesn't make a sound, which is good for media center PCs. The driver cd actually had recent drivers, they are old by now though.
Cons: It is a full size card, but Sparkle also makes a low profile version that is ideal for slim media PCs. 1 GB of memory really isn't necessary on this card, seems like a gimmick.
Other Thoughts: Would buy again for the price I paid, get it when its on sale.

Happy Purchase
Pros: Quick install. Plug and Play. No fan. came with a S-video cable. runs with a 300W power supply.
Cons: does cover a PCI slot. I installed the drivers from the website instead of the provided disk. bought a HDMI cable separately
Other Thoughts: Vista 64 Bit. 4 Gigs of ram. Raised windows score from 3.0 to 4.9 (slowest thing now is processor). Can play WOW - WOTLK with no problems. Older ASUS board with a dual core. updraded a stock HP computer from Circuit City.
As usual NewEgg Delivery was awesome. received in 24 hours. Thank you.

Thump... Thump..
Pros: Great value, 5.2 index score.
Cons: Do not use with a DVI to HDMI adapter. Prior to using card I was using on-board video w/ adapter and no problems. I believe this card has some sort of audio plug (to channel sound into DVI to HDMI connection) which (if not used) creates interference through your not used TV speakers, and random speaker thumping is a result. It is annoying, and not sure if it is harmful to the speakers.
Other Thoughts: Company should supply two prong needed cable so that you can use that feature, and knock out interference from idle use. (two prong connection can be found at top of card and is white in photo)

Nice
Pros: Nice card, drivers seemed to load just fine on vista 64 right from the CD. Fanless is good as long as you have good airflow.
Cons: None really, except the box came a bit dented and crimped up. Probably UPS's fault. Don't use UPS for really sensitive packages (like a mobo, for example). Pay the extra for FedEx, they care for their packages more.
Other Thoughts: I pulled out the useless fax-modem taking up a PCI slot and put in an Evercool Fox-1 to pull some of the heat off the video card. Haven't tried a whole lot but this card runs Oblivion at ultra high settings. I remember when that was the holygrail about 3 years ago. Awesome deal for the price.

Great Card
Pros: Great Card. Beautiful graphics at cheap price.
Cons: No fan-Maybe that's good, because I just had another video card fry because the fan went out!! Had an Nvidia 6200 card and Vista Experience was 5.6. After installing this 1 GB card, I thought the number would go higher, but they actually went DOWN to 5.0. Go figure.

awesome
Pros: Fanless, low-price, 1gb memory, easy install
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: I'm not a gamer, I use my computer for vector graphics programs Illustrator and Flash, some light Photoshop. My onboard Intel G31 chipset was fine for these programs, but I wanted to try out Left 4 Dead (which my onboard couldn't handle). Left 4 Dead runs perfectly at high settings with this card.

Sparkle 9400GT 1GB PCI Exp Card
Pros: Got it right on schedule from Newegg. Installed drivers and went right to work. Beats the heck out of my on-board video. Improved my Vista score from 3.2 to 4.7 all by itself. Am very happy with it. Doesn't have a cooling fan, so no extra noise. Runs cooler than most fan-cooled cards I've used. Two DVI outputs, both work great.
Cons: Takes up an additional PCI slot on my Intel mobo. Other than that, no negatives.
Other Thoughts: Exceptional value if you're needing to improve a 2 year old mobo.

Good value card
Pros: Works great, runs cool. Needed it for a computer in the desk in my bedroom, so it ran quiet. I have passive cooling power supply, and this complements the system; to an inaudible hum. It fit right in Small form factor (shuttle), runs @ 52-53'C - which is fine (for me I thought this is cool, given that I was expecting 65-70 at idle for a passive cooled gpu, and limited airflow).
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: This is not the best in its class, anyone looking at gaming or high graphics, should consider a 9600+ and one which has an actual fan.
At 1920x1080, with Windows 7 (beta) Aero - it works like a charm. I downloaded some videos from the Windows HD showcase - no problem in rendering the 720p and 1080p samples, CPU (Q6600) could be compensating a little (it hovers at 20% @ 720, and 35% @1080) - definitely acceptable.
I have not tried with Linux yet, I'm guessing

I love it!
Pros: Easy...very easy to install. I downloaded the drivers from the website, just to have the latest.
For the gamers, I have tested this in several, especially City of Heroes. It made things look so good I almost cried tears of joy...just to see how the card rendered them! In CoH it actually reduced a ton of lag...and I played on the highest setting possible. I could do this with my old 256mb card.
It also worked great for Universe at War and several first person shooters, Champions Online (I'm in beta and the game sucks)...pretty much everything.
Cons: The only con I can think of it nVidia website detected my old cards drivers and assumed I didn't need new ones, so I had to navigate to the drivers to download them...but that's not the cards fault at all.
Other Thoughts: I almost got a lesser car until I found out the 2.0 cards would work in 1.0 slots...I'm a very happy man!

Pretty good!
Pros: It's cheap! Cheap is always good. It gave me a massive improvement on my old card, which was a Geforce 6150SE. My Vista graphics score went from a 3.2 to a 4.9 and my gaming graphics score went from a 3.0 to a 5.3. I've tried it with Oblivion and the Sims 2 so far, on normal settings, and both play pretty well. It's fanless, so it doesn't make any noise while you're using it.
Cons: So far, I haven't encountered many problems with it. But I am worried about it when it starts getting hotter during the Summer. So I'll probably have to go get another fan for it.
One other thing, it's not really a big deal, but it came with an S-video cable that's only about three and a half feet long. I don't know about most other people, but I don't keep my desktop computer that close to the TV. So I had to get another cable to go with it. But that wasn't nearly enough to bump it down a point.
Other Thoughts: If you're on a tight budget and your computer came with an awful graphics card, this one is definitely worth the money.

Outstanding value
Pros: A great performing card for an affordable price.
Cons: None that I know of.
Other Thoughts: I bought this card due to the good reviews here on Newegg. And after I received it and used it, I can see why. It's a very affordable card and with 1 GB of onboard memory, you really can't go wrong. Plus, it has a large heatsink without a fan. Hopefully this doesn't cause any overheating issues. I doubt it as the heatsink is pretty big to disperse the heat. So, this is a definite bonus not having to deal with a cheap fan that just gets clogged up with dust over time.
I am using this card on a Dell Inspiron 530 running Fedora 10 Linux. The support for nVidia chipsets in Linux is outstanding. Fedora nVidia drivers are in the "kmod-nvidia" package from rpmfusion.org. I had experienced problems in the past running many games in Wine (in Linux) with non nVidia cards, and with this card every game I've thrown at it so far runs flawlessly in full 3D. The graphics are perfect and the performance is just as good. A++++

for the price, C'mon it's a no brainer
Pros: I bought this to replace my ancient ATI PCI card from late nineteen ninety something. Before my pages would jump when I surfed, now they roll like a marble across glass, flawless. Also, I can play newer games, Yeah! I'm not a big gamer but the games I have played, the visual has not only blown me away but they've impressed my 11 year old son, and that's not an easy thing to do sometimes.
I bought this on a shell shocker deal for 35 buck and free shipping. Now that I have it, I would have easily payed double, but don't tell newegg that.
Although it didn't come with a fan, it ran between 65 and 72 deg C. I then jerry-rigged a fan to blow across it and now my range it 43-50, even on the intense games.
If your looking for a really really good graphics card, I would recommend this one, really.
Oh yeah, and dual booting with Ubuntu, the sphere never moved so graceful. My 3D desktop looks lilke something from a really good scifi movie.
Cons: i think I would have to put a DUH, about here. I mean, a solid card with great performance. Nope, no cons from this fella.
Other Thoughts: i ordered on a Friday morning and had it installed Tuesday evening. Great shipping and a great deal. If you are concerned with the heat from the stock product, you can do like I did and string up a $2 case fan with fishing line from the side and your heat will drop 20 deg C easy

Great for the price
Pros: Price...Easy to Install
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: I purchased this to replaced a failed 512mb video card on my desktop. I was just looking for something to get me thru until I could spend the money and really upgrade. This card has really surprised me. The graphics are great and while its not top of the line, it handling WOW and Second Life like a champ. Just make sure you update your drivers or you will have issues.

Great video - Cheap
Pros: Exceptional video for a affordable price. I installed this in a budget PC with on board 8200 running Vista 64. My Windows ratings went from 3.5 graphics and 4.0 gaming graphics to a nice boost of 5.0 and 5.3.
Cons: This card is not necessarily designed for the avid gamer but I would not hesitate to use it for occasional gaming. Not DDR3!
Other Thoughts: I installed one in a Windows XP system replacing a age old 6800GT and it nearly doubled the 3D Mark 06 score. It didn't do anything for the PC Mark score. I got it on a Shell Shocker sale so I can't compare it for the price. I did not try the driver but downloaded the latest from Nvidia. If you are looking for something to improve your on board video or need to replace an old video card. This will do the job.

Worth the price!
Pros: Good performance, 1 GB, Geforce 9 GPU.
Fanless is a pro for me... I have a Shuttle with 250W PS.
Price was awesome from Newegg! Got it on shellshock!
Cons: ONLY DDR, not GDDR. check their site. Can't OC due to fanless.
Heatsink is not low profile. Actually touches my case because it is a little thicker than those with the tiny fans.
Other Thoughts: Fanless is a pro for some, con for others. This item works great. I have 2GB DDR2 in my system, now dedicating 100% of that to running the computer, not the graphics. 3dmark 2001 score is like 24000 with dual core 6000+. This price was great but there are better cards out there. I have always loved geforce products for their price per performance. ATIs are great products too, I just prefer nvidia chips due to their flexibility and such. (and I have an nforce mobo)

In Response to dirtycoolie
Pros: Good base level pcie card. Embarasses on board audio..... yes, even ati's built in 3200HD 780G chipset. So go ahead.... enjoy yourself. For the price, it's the best. Should be on par with my 8500GT 512MB. Same ratings in vista... so... I'm figuring.
Cons: This is not a mid-range card. ATI 4850 is a mid-range card and it will pee on this card all day singing p!$$ on you remix!!!

Very Pleased
Pros: For the cost I just can't complain about having to read directions. The CMOS is very clear if you understand settings. Added a AMD Quad core 2+ CPU and fan, 1066 RAM, Graphics card and the necessities and she booted right up under defaults. I immediately set the clocks, but found out there's a pretty handy "KISS" overclocking program that works surprisingly well. The board has more bells and whistles that we'll ever need in practice.
Cons: I'll have to upgrade to Vista 64 to appreciate the real features.
Other Thoughts: I look forward to tweaking it with a 64 bit systems, I may have to use Linux until my 64 bit MS OS gets here

Good for the money.
Pros: Arrived quick, ty Newegg. Runs WoW at about 60 fps on average, great buy for the money. Good cheap upgrade for a box system. Would buy another if it ever fails.
Cons: No manual, but easy to install. Box flimsy.
Other Thoughts: Update the drivers, that's a given.

Very nice
Pros: Wasnt sure what to think with such a low price but, I am Very Happy with the performance if this card. Installed and runs great. Have been playin FEAR2 and others with high settings with no problems. And with 1gb memory it is fast and smooth. Shiping is as always fast. But have come to expect that from Egg. So for someone with a tight budget this card is a value and performs great.
Cons: None actually. wasnt sure bout not having a fan but it seems to run quite cool enuff.
Other Thoughts: Always happy with service and speed of egg. My home for upgrades etc. Will definately continue to shop here.

great! good for price
Pros: made it able to play recent games on high graphics levels. regular pc view didn't change, but my monitor is old so i don't blame it. easily fit into computer, just stuck it in, plugged monitor in, and installed.
Cons: none. i mean, it wasn't free, but whatcha gonna do?
Other Thoughts: my dell dimension 5150 pent 4, 3 ghz had integrated graphics and it couldn't even low settings without freezing every 4 seconds. it works great now

Nice Card
Pros: very nice card for the money. small passive cooler. 1gib ram. a nice upgrage from a 7300gt. runs my asus vh222 at full res (1920x1080) and all the games i have thrown at it (also at full res)
Cons: small passive cooler which makes it run at 45c. at idle and 57 under load.
Other Thoughts: very happy with this purchace and would recommend this to all (as long as you don't mind the heat or do like i did and change out the cooler with a bigger one (running at 35c. idle and 41 under load)

I'm Pleased
Pros: Where else are you going to find a video card with a full gig of memory on it at this price? Easy installation.
Cons: None yet.
Other Thoughts: I had recently reviewed my Vista systems Performance Info after upgrading my memory to 4gb. My overall rating was 3.3, with the graphics being the big bogdown. This card popped up in the Newegg ad for $45 with free shipping, so I figured it was worth a shot. My desktop graphics rating went from 3.5 to 5.2 and the gaming graphics went from 3.3 to 5.3. My overall rating is held down to 4.3 by my Pentium 4 641 processor. That seems like pretty good performance for a simple e-machines el-cheapo computer. I'm not a gamer, but I work with pictures a lot and it will be nice to have the additional gig of dedicated memory for this task.

Nice for the Price
Pros: I bought this card because I am in a budget crunch and my ATI x850xt PE video card finally burned out after three years. My onboard intel was horrible and I needed something for juice to actually run games and such. I put this thing in knowing it wouldn't have any power at all right? I mean its a card for HCTP anyhow, but when I put this in for World of Warcraft I was actually very suprised. Plays WOTLK at 40fps on medium settings (depending on your processor I imagine you can get a lot more out of this card for WoW). This isn't a gamers card by all means but I was impressed at the power this tiny thing put out and I would reccomend it for light/med gaming if you have budget issues like me. If not you can spend and extra 50-100 bucks and be a baller. After reviews on the web I hear this card does very well for basic video rendering and writing if you are into that kind of thing also.
Cons: None as of now
Other Thoughts: Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 1.86Ghz (not overclocked) ---- a better processor and more ram will give you better results for this card

Cons: a fan would help with cooling but its cool enough
