Had it for 8 months.
Pros: Lot of powers, lot of Amp, lot of certifications... This PSU unit can handle lot an high gaming rid without any problem.
Cons: Not that I can remember of. Cables take lots of place, but all PSU that are not Modulars cable are like that.
Other Thoughts: Got it for 115$ canadian back the or something around this ammount.

Super power supply
Pros: This is a solid power supply. No hassles from start to finish on the install. The fan noise is VERY low and my system, which has had a history of over heating, is cool and happy. Plenty of cables for anything you need to hook up. Cables are long so no issues with custom set ups. When I unboxed this PS I was in awe. Corsair gets a huge wow! factor for the extra effort and the unit looks sleek.
Cons: This PS does not have the modular cabling. Its not really a con but rather I missed that on ordering so just a heads up.
Other Thoughts: The rebate system is lame. You have a specific amount of time to jump through their hoops. I purchased in November then pre-registered and the whole bit. My rebate status says its been processed but not to expect the check until March! Thats three months!!!

High end power supply.
Pros: The unit has all of the possible power connectors needed to build a mid tower setup.
Cons: Unused power cables are not able to be removed from the unit but with some wire ties and a little spare room inside the top of the case they are not blocking air flow for cooling.
Other Thoughts: I am still waiting to get the $20.00 rebate check.

Fake rebate!
Pros: PSU is amazing not a single problem there.
Cons: Rebate is seriously horrible. You'll get pre-registration number but envelope you are going to send will never arrive, according to them.
Other Thoughts: I've sent 3 other rebates -after- this one and they were processed and finished within 2 weeks. This one is gone.. If you are going to buy this PSU do so, it's really good.. But don't count on rebate. It's a scam.

works well after replacement
Pros: Works well for about a month now, quiet, cables were the right length for my mid ATX tower.
Cons: The first PSU I got was dead, the 12V rail had no power. Exchanging it with Newegg was easy, but had to pay for shipping it back to Newegg.

Velvet Baggie
Pros: It comes in a velvet baggie. Not a high-quality velvet baggie, but it does come in a velvet baggie.
Cons: Kinda boring, reliable black looking.
Other Thoughts: Works great, nice modular PSU.

Not impressed at all
Pros: Looks solid, decent packaging.
Cons: Where do I start? It is simply DOA, does not even power up my new build. Greatly disappointed. Not sure why they are PS maker of the year but I am not the only one who has 750TX DOA, just Google it, quality control is just plain poor. Seasonic is quite a bit more money, but at least their products work and work. I have 2 Seasonic's and this is my first Corsair. I am also confused why everybody talk about excellent Newegg service and policy? I have a DOA product and now need to pay to ship this heavy unit back to them at my own cost. Even big rainforest store pays for return shipping when you have a DOA unit. Anyway, I cannot continue with my build for another what looks like 10 business days.
Other Thoughts: Newegg.com should provide return shipment on DOA products.

quality PSU
Pros: Running perfectly after 1.5 years of use. My machine is almost constantly on or in standby, and I've never had any problems to speak of.
Cons: None to report
Other Thoughts: I've now built three systems with three different Corsair PSU's (400W, 550W, and 750W), and have had no problems with any of them. Highly recommended brand.

Failure.
Pros: Worked very well up until it broke. Quiet. Lots of plugs. Amazing packaging.
Cons: It had a failure the second day I plugged it in which fried it. Hopefully that's the only damaged part.
Other Thoughts: I realize how good the corsair name is for a PSU, so I hope I just got a defective one, and am going to an electronics store to purchase the same model.

Great PSU
Pros: I bought this to replace a 500w cheapy that failed when I upgraded my CPU(Kuma 7750) and Graphics card(xfx 9800gtx+). Hasnt had a problem. Doesnt even get hot.
Cons: Not modular but I knew that to begin with. Didn't have enough for that.
Other Thoughts: I know that my comp doesnt need this much but I wanted to be able to upgrade with out worry and I leave my computer on 24/7. I deffinatly would buy another next time.

Quite pleased
Pros: Solid design and a large collection of cables for every person's needs. The finish is simple and well done, and honestly who doesn't want a sweet velvet corsair bag?
Cons: None, absolutely none, solid build. Corsair is the brand I generally recommend and use in every PC I've built over the last 2 years.
Other Thoughts: It's a freaking velvet bag, what more do you want!?

Pretty Power Supply.
Pros: Quiet, reliable, and very pretty. Tons of cables to hook up everything you could want.
Crossfire ready. Ran my i7 920, 2x ATI Asus EAH5770s, 1TB Seagate Baracudda 7200rpm HDD, and an Asus P6T MB with 6Gb of Corsair 3DDR 1600, and 5 case fans, with no issues.
Only got rid of it because I wanted to add four hard drives in a raid config and start heavily overclocking and knew the wattage wouldn't be sufficient for all I wanted to throw at it.
Cons: Not modular, but I knew that going in, and to be honest I don't/didn't mind, I just felt I should mention it.
Not 1000+ Watts! I really loved this PSU and wish I could still use it. Corsair really nailed the quality of this product.
Other Thoughts: I loved the look and feel of this PSU. Everything about it screamed quality. From the way it was packaged in a cloth "Crown Royal"esque bag, to the weight of a quality PSU, it was everything I could want. Well minus not having enough juice for what I had planned.

Solid
Pros: i've had this PSU since May 2009, and i havent had an issue yet. i bought this device not only due to the massive ammount of GREAT reviews its gotten, but because Corsair in general gets very positive feedback on their PSU's. they seem like a lost and dieing company that actually sincerely cares about what they produce...at least with their power supplies.
currently, this item shows 5 eggs out of 1400 some-odd reviews...which is amazing. with only 1 12v rail@60 amps, 80+ certified, 4 6+2 PCI connectors, and 99% error correction...its obvious why.
this device is rock solid
Cons: cables are long, and coated with some kind of heat resistant fabric. maybe isnt the most beautiful to look at in a clear sided beizel case, tho remembering PSU's that came standard in my PC's before i began building my own, which had connectors that would barely reach my video card, this is not a con to me, but might be to others.
Other Thoughts: after revisiting reviews on this PSU, and reviewing stats to ensure it would support my new video card, i realized i never wrote a review for this product. well...now i have ;)

Pros: Great psu. Chose to install it with the fan ont he bottom as the case is pretty big with lots of air (CM HAF 922). Great amount of cables, all connections were easy to reach and connect. Worked on cable management.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Note: be careful of choosing UPS for this PSU. It will need the later model sine waves that are either really expensive or not yet available. Cyber Power is supposed to introduce a new UPS this Quarter to work with these types of PSU.

Cons: Cables are long!

Pros: Supplies great clean power to my EVGA P55 For the win, and EVGA GTS 250. Sturdy cords and plugs.
Cons: Wish it was modular. The cords are so stiff it can be hard to bend sometimes and pushes against other components as my case doesn't have much space for cable management. It would also seem a little hard to manage these cables through loops as they are stiff.
Other Thoughts: All in all a great product especially for the price. If I was on a strict budget again and needed another, would buy again. Gave it 4 eggs for the stiff and non modular cords.

Nice!!
Pros: Very quiet! Nice long cables, great for a bottom mounted PSU case. Cables are in a mesh type thingy and are kinda hard to move around but it fine. Should have gone modular but all i had to do is cram the cables on the back panel >=D
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: Quietest PSU out there !

Best for the money
Pros: I dont think you will find a better one at any price. And very few half this good at this price.
Cons: To many plugs. I didn't use half of them
Other Thoughts: Many complain it is not modeler. I think the less connections necessary the better.
Arrived quickly as usual

Great PSU!
Pros: I have had this PSU for about 6-7onths now and it performs without a single glitch. It is currently powering an Antec 900 case with Intel I7 920 DO chip, a Vigor Monsoon III Lt. CPU cooler, Corsair Dominator Triple channel kit 3X2 GB at 1600, EVGA X58 3X SLI motherboard, with 2 EVGA 9800GTX+'s, 2 intel X25M 80GB hard drives, 2 WD Caviar Black 1TB drives, 2 WD Raptor 36GB drives, 1 Pioneer BD-203 Blu-ray drive, an Asus Xonar DX sound card, and a Linksys WMP 300N Wifi card. I also have 1 External USB hard drive and a wireless Logitech USB mouse and keyboard. This PSU handles all of this without problems!
Cons: Not modular.
Other Thoughts: Unless your planning on 3X SLI this PSU can handle pretty much whatever you throw at it and runs cool and quiet. What more can you ask for?

Good PSU. Bad mail in rebate
Pros: Good PSU. Lots of wires. No problems
Cons: Corsair makes you sign up for a debit card to receive the mail in rebate. They omit to mention that the card has a $3 monthly maintenance fee. Not only there is a lot of hassle to register the mail in rebate. Now you have more hassle with the debit card. Simply not worth the time.

To Quite
Pros: Powerful, easy to install, pretty, stable, lots of long wires, Good price. Fast delivery....NEWEGG Rocks
Cons: To quite. I can now hear my hard drive humming. At first I thought it was the psu because I didn't notice it before. After futher investigating I realized it was my hard drive. Guess I can't take an egg for being to good.
Other Thoughts: I haven't really been able to test this much because I bought it to supply a largher graphics card. I wanted something to use in my next build and thought this would be perfect. So far it is all they claimed it would be. Also I have read many reviews of those wishing it were modular. I you researched further you would know that Corsair makes a 750 that is modular for those who perfer them. Cost more of corse.

CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply - Retail
Pros: Very Quiet Tons of connectors Very nice finishes on wires and connectors Power cable is twice as thick as my old one

Great
Pros: Solid power supply. Lots of amps and just 1 rail so you don't have to balance the loads. Comes with a cool sticker :3
Cons: It's got a ton of cables that I don't use, and the SATA Power connectors are upside-down, so I had some trouble with that.
Other Thoughts: Like somebody else said, it comes in a velvet bag. Fancy.

Corsair Rocks!
Pros: Runs very quiet. Lots and lots of connectors! Plenty of six pin connectors for setting up video cards in a gaming rig.
Cons: Could have used modular cabling, thankfully my drive bays are mostly empty so I've curled up the cables in there.
Other Thoughts: It comes in a fancy velvet bag. Cute touch.

Great PSU
Pros: Solid Power supply. Single 12v 60A 12v rail, plentiful power connectors, seethed cables, its black.
After 5 min, cables are nice and hidden in my Antec 902. I was able to route the cpu 4/8pin power connector behind the motherboard, with no extra cable length to spare
Unless you are running 3 way sli/water cooling, you don't need a bigger power supply than this.
Cons: Cables are kind of stiff, especially near the connectors. Might require a little pre flexing/bending if they need to make sharp turns.
Not modular, not a con for me. I just opt to spend 5-10 minutes and hide the extra cables.
Other Thoughts: To those who don't like the power supply blowing hot air in at your graphics cards; why is your power supply blowing in hot air? Mine blows hot air out of the case (like its supposed to), at a very low speed. If your power supply seems to be blowing air into your case, you either have inadequate case air intake, or your fans are sucking too much air out of your case. The PSU fan runs at such a low RPM, air can easily flow the wrong direction if your air intake/outtake isn't balanced. Try and balance the two.

CORSAIR power supply
Pros: This P.S. is (750W's) absolutly beautiful comes in a black velvet bag, for what I don't know, but lots of P.S. connectors . I am building a i7 (975) system. I suspect from what I see in this power supply will perform excellent. Great job CORSAIR. AND NEWEGG for GREAT SHIPPING and PROCCESING.
Cons: NONE
Other Thoughts: new coustomer to NewEgg but after 3 orders before this one (I'LL BE BACK)

Everything ever dreamed of...
Pros: Everything you would ever need and then some! High quality product with braided cables. Very long cables for full tower cases.
Cons: Cables are not very flexible, takes some planning to figure out how it will all work out. Huge ball of cables to hide away when finished.

Not good for a HAF-922 case
Pros: Works great when not in a HAF-922 case. Plenty of juice on one rail.
Cons: I moved my system to a HAF-922 where the power supply is mounted on the bottom of the case. This power supply pulls cool air from rear of case and blows hot air right at video card, PCI slots, and PCI-E slots with two fans one, the interior one being a 140mm fan. My video card overheated. I installed a 240mm Storm blowing in and it didn't work. I tried pulling air out and that didn't work. I took it out and used an Antec NeoPower 550 power supply that was a warranty replacement.

Pros: High power output, good efficiency. Has powered all of my stuff without fail for the past 4 months.
Cons: Non modular, but I have the space for routing all of the unused cables.
Cables are rather stiff, especially the sata cables, causing them to bend at awkward angles when installing powering drives that are right ontop of each other.
Other Thoughts: Velvet bag was a plus. Excellent for putting headphones or other things in.
Packaging was excellent, felt like a brick wrapped in cellophane.
Hopefully it continues to power my stuff for another 3+ years.

Pros: Very very quiet. 4 PCI-E connectors, 8 SATA connectors.
Fits my Antec 900 case, though I had to move the Optical drive down from the top bay.
Cons: First one was DOA. Problematic since I bought this as a replacement for a different PSU that died. All in all I was without a desktop for 11 days.

Really Good PSU
Pros: 750 watts, black, good manufacturer , stable, no crashing or any voltage relate issues.
Cons: a lot of unnecessary cables inside the chassis they just could use modular connections in order to remove these cables.
Other Thoughts: Nice elegant packing, not cheap made, comes with screws, zips to organized the cables and a sticker :D

Pros: Plenty of cables. Very nice cable covering to keep them from getting knicked on the case. Plenty of cables to run many things.
Cons: Lots of cables not in use. Wish I would have bought a modular one. Oh well that will be on my next build.

Good buy
Pros: Lots of power All the connectivity you need (and more...) Efficient power usage
Cons: Be warned this power supply is NOT modular in the least. Cable management might get tricky in a mid sized case.
Other Thoughts: My next PSU will probably be modular..I just like how much neater they are.

What more can one ask for?
Pros: - very sleek and attractive (unless your tower's color theme is way off) - silent (relative to my surroundings, anyway) - efficient power usage - cool temps (my tower temp dropped quite a bit thanks to that huge fan) - velvet bag (pointless... but hilariously awesome)
Cons: - costs money - too big to be a paperweight - makes peers feel vastly inferior
Other Thoughts: I really don't know what else to say. This power supply is the best I've seen. I don't build as many computers as others I know, but they recommended this one for my next build, and I am more than satisfied.

rock solid!
Pros: 60A rail for fragging needs, 5% or less variance from stock voltage on 12V rail and no variance on all the other rails, freaking awesome for power-hungry systems. Thinking of going with 2 GTX 275's in SLI as my mobo supports both an AMD CPU and SLI support (most of the current AMD mobos I've been seeing lately only support Crossfire), as I am confident that this single 60A rail will be more than sufficient for such a set-up, and even considering a Phenom II or Athlon II X4 to upgrade this build.
Cons: Cables, cables, cables! There are a lot of them, and is necessary that you leave the cables you need hanging down during installation and tie-wrap the rest and tuck them away. If you are big on cable management, make sure to have plenty of good tie-wraps, lol. Not taking an egg away just for that, as I see that as having plenty of options!

does the job
Pros: huge single 12v rail - very solid - lots of connectors - good cable length - sped an underpowered system
Cons: not modular - for the price it should be modular
Other Thoughts: warning - if you have a small case there are a few cables to tuck out of the way - not a problem with my antec 300 - q9650@4.5ghz, ga-ep54-udp3, 8gb ddr2 1066, gtx295

Stable and Reliable
Pros: Has been reliable and stable from day one.
Cons: Not modular.
Other Thoughts: When the Sigma Monster 750W PSU I ordered for my build from Newegg died mid-way through the build (taking out my videocard), I picked up one of these at a local retailer so I could get up and running without waiting for a RMA cycle. It has worked well from day one.

Excellent PS as usual
Pros: * Every connection needed for a complete build. You have more than enough power for an OC i7 with 2 GC's and an array of HD's. * Near silent operation * Good cable lenghts, and properly spaced connectors on each lead * Great warranty * Even encludes a velvet carrying case for when you want to lug it around
Cons: * Expensive, but you get what you pay for * You will have wires left over to hide
Other Thoughts: Don't think twice, this is a great PS.

Works well and quiet
Pros: Very quiet and +12v rail runs steadily between 12.11 and 12.18 with it mostly being toward the high end. Lots of connectors.
Cons: none really...I did manage to break the end SATA connector on one of the two 4-connector SATA cables as I attempted to connect to a DVD drive, but that's more of a me problem and/or a flaw in the design of the SATA connector ends (thin plastic being pushed together).

Beautiful Black
Pros: Beautiful Black all around and lots of wires LOTS! and it has wires that are nice and sheaved and a little baggy for the whole thing (also Beautiful Black, its satin like material) and it s 750 watts for a low price compared to any others out there and it has the best ratings I mean just look at it. So go ahead indulge yourself in a low price PSU that will give you 3-5 years of wonderful Warranty and make your life easier and happier with a simple hookup and a throw of the sleek black and gripping power switch of this protective beast.
Cons: Nuh-Nuh-Nuh-None

Pros: Keeps me up and running, lots of power, active pfc, quiet, cool, Japanese capacitors, and awesome corsair sticker. Non Modular Design (I yet to trust a modular psu)
Cons: Lots of cables, if you have a mid tower like me, have fun trying to manage them all. I recommend having two 5.25" available drive bays to store all the wires.
Other Thoughts: Its a cosair just buy it. I know i could have used a psu with less power but, i figured since psu's loose a little bit of their capacity each year, i might as well buy a bigger one to future proof.

I'm Impressed
Pros: Lets see -Huge 12v rail -750watts of power -Lots of cables -Very quiet -Very nice velvet bag -Very attractive
If you want a gaming machine get this power supply because you will not regret it
Cons: You're joking right?
Other Thoughts: Used this in my first build and it was very easy to hool everything up. Just be warned that there are a LOT of cables. I knew this before buying it. If you have a mid tower like me you might have to get creative with your cable management

Pros: Really good PSU, does what it says and is DEAD quiet, at first I was thinking if the fan was working fine or just working at all, but after a couple months of use, I realized that it should be just ok like that. Gives a lot of room for additional cards, includes 4 PCI-E 8 pins (!!!) which is essential to run multi-GPU setups, and if it's not the point, well, you'll keep that same PSU for a long time.
Cons: None that I can think of that wasn't in the product description: -Not 80 PLUS Gold certified (would be nice at that price...) -Not modular (then again, it wasn't the point of the product)
Other Thoughts: If one or both of those are cons for you, be ready to spend a LOT more for not that much more back...

First one didn't work right.
Pros: Perfect balance of power and price.
Cons: Something was wrong with the PSU. When 2d and windows were used it worked great. The 4770 gpu in 3D caused a hard shutdown. Had to RMA product back. Ironically, I bought a cheapo psu (30bucks) that was below the recommended wattage for the gpu and it works great. Spent a couple nights narrowing it down to the PSU. This was for a friends build.
Other Thoughts: Despite getting a dud i'm am still going to try this psu in my own build. Can't beat the power to price performance. Hope it works. I went with Corsair because of their high quality so this shouldn't have happened.

Good Midrange(750w/60a on 12v) PSU
Pros: Stable power and lots of connectors 5 year warranty (research this aspect) Heaviest psu I've used in all my builds sofar 60a rail leaves spare power for another 200ish watt video card and secondary power for connected equipment. Msi forums speak highly of Corsair products & now I can too.
Cons: One screw case screw position is quite close to an internal pcb part, be careful you don't nudge it with a longer than normal length screw (mine stopped just short all the way torqued, but I pray thats the same for all). I would have not noticed this issue if not for the psu being heavy to hold in place while torquing down screws.
The molex connectors are those quick disconnect-type, great for reconfiguring.. but a con during cable management-- hint.. connect molex last after you tie up and connect everything else nice (or you might bump them loose).
Other Thoughts: My build: ThisPSU Intel i5-750 cpu MSI p55-gd65 m/b MSI Radeon 5750 1gb (a Direct-X 11 card) 4gb (2x2 G.Skill RipJaws 7-8-7-24 memory) 400gb Sata WD hard drive 2 dvd drives (Samsung 203n, NEC 3500g) 2-80mm fans 1-120mm fan MGE Gamer M1 Case (leftover from old system) -------------------------- All in all this build/upgrade would easily cost over $1k if not for good newegg prices. Local computer stores can't or won't compete.
BTW! The pros definitely outweigh the cons about this being a solid psu overall & convey an honest account of my upgrade experience.

Should Have Gone With My Gut
Pros: Great price for a Corsair 750 watt PSU
Cons: Unit died within 30 seconds of use
Other Thoughts: As I do will all products before purchase, I read the reviews for this item and was concerned about the number of people who advised their unit was DOA. I thought to myself "won't happen to me, number of good reviews much greater than the bad". Well, I should have gone with my gut and not ordered this PSU. Booted my PC up for the first time with this PSU and within 30 seconds it completely died. Very disappointed given the Corsair name. Save yourself some trouble and don't buy this PSU!

Stable, runs cool so far. Mess of cables.
Pros: Looks good, feels good. Comes packaged in an "attractive" velveteen sack. Can use the bag to wash my chonies in. Love the length of the cables, and the number of connections on each one. Tons of power for tons of tons. Exhaust runs cool. This is mounted in a CoolerMaster Storm, bottom mount. Fan vents to the bottom. Fits well.
Cons: Huge mess of cables. Small case (my bad) does not have room for the big wad of unused cables. I should have spent fifty duckets more for a modular power supply. Good luck cabling them up and jamming in to a tiny case. Clips on cables might get in the way of some power connectors on devices.
Other Thoughts: The cost of the bag isn't enough to offset a modular power supply, but hey, a free gift is a free gift, and it thrilled my toddler (plus the sticker) to no end.

Good Buy
Pros: -Very quiet -Long cables -Price
Cons: -None yet
Other Thoughts: I used this for my first build and initially thought it was DOA, because I didn't realize it wouldn't turn on unless the motherboard was turned on. Maybe everyone else knows this, but just letting others know.

Pros: Great overall power supply. I was suprised to see the length of the included peripherals; if you do not have a full-tower case, you are going to have a fun time finding a place for them.
Cons: None so far.

money well spent
Pros: well made....plenty cables...all on one rail...
Cons: none so far
Other Thoughts: fits well in the CM Scout tower(PS is at the bottom). the bag it comes w/ is nice...some may think there are too many cables, but a proper wire tuck makes it look nice.

Stable, Reliable, Awesome
Pros: I got this puppy last Christmas, and is about to be included in my NEW build! This thing is a tank, don't let the price fool you, other PSU's of the same wattage for cheaper don't compare. The super powered single 12 volt rail makes this thing especially useful.
Cons: The only think discouraging about this is that it is not modular cables, meaning that unused cables can not be taken off the PSU. But really, I would pick strong stability over convenience any day.
Other Thoughts: If you are looking for power that will last longer then a year or two and you have the money you would be making a mistake not buying this!

Great PSU
Pros: Excellent quality and design. Jacketed power cords with labeled plug types is nice. PCIe plugs for video cards is nice too. Very quiet when operational. 80% efficiency rating is excellent for clean power when over clocking.
Cons: Almost too many power connections resulting in a LOT of thick cables you have to manage. In a mid-size ATX case, it can be hard to find room to tuck & hide these cables without blocking airflow.
Other Thoughts: I didn't have dual video cards, or lots of HDDs, so this PSU may have been overkill. However, I absolutely love it and its been working great. I would recommend.

Its Corsair!!
Pros: Came packaged really well and very secure. The PSU runs really quiet and puts out the power I need. Nice PSU that can handle what you throw at it.
Cons: Not Modular
Other Thoughts: Saw a early review from someone who made the coment that this comes in a felt drawstring bag-"Like Crown Royal". Thought that was awesome.

feel the powah!
Pros: Provides essential power. Comes with plenty of connections for any needs you might have, including crossfire support, support for any MOBO, and more than enough 4-pins and adaptors. Efficient exhaust.
Cons: Notta: works great, its a PSU - and it does its job without getting too hot.
Other Thoughts: get it...reliable company...comes with a little sack!

Lots of power
Pros: Lots of power and power cables. Cables seem to be very durable and long lasting. Big cooling fan, well build.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: I would buy this again for a future build

Great unit.
Pros: I purchased this unit to replace an dying Power Supply. The unit runs more quietly than the previous one and the due to the larger vents, somewhat cooler. So far, I have had no issues whatsoever with the unit.
Cons: None to report so far.

Mighty PSU
Pros: Tons of power. Lots of cables. Looks flashy. The power supply ran flawlessly from all my tests, however I am not perfect. I feel almost like this PSU was designed for my case the way it is laid out.
Cons: Possible cause of my problems. Though i highly doubt it.
Other Thoughts: I dont know of a better unit i could of bought.

Pros: It arrived, its kind of pretty, has lots of wires (i'm only using a third of them)
Cons: Seamed to have gotten a faulty one, when plugged in, the motherboard light would turn on, but when the computer was started it would turn on for a fraction of a second and then turn off, and repeat this every 5 seconds, did paperclip test, it worked, but that was not the problem, it was producing power
Other Thoughts: I read through other reviews and another person had similar problems, and found out it was a wrong voltage, i have contacted corsair, and am waiting for a reply, i understand electronics can fail or get damaged during shipping, i will adjust my review when i get a replacement, and if it works. kind of ruined christmas though.

Cons: Not really a con, its just the big amount of cables are just to dificult to get in my case, i mean they are to manny.
Other Thoughts: i like it, they are really no cons

Pros: Everything OK!
Cons: No problems so far.
Other Thoughts: The air blowing out of the PSU is warm, even when the computer is idle.

Amazing PSU
Pros: 1. Very Quiet - My hard drive is currently the loudest component in my PC now 2. Lots of connectors 3. Great Packaging - It even came with a cool velvet Corsair bag! 4. High amp on 12v rail
Cons: I cannot honestly think of any.
Other Thoughts: This power supply is a beast. Very durable, sturdy, heavy. If your planning on going SLI/CFX in the future, this PSU is a great choice. I'm pretty picky when it comes to all hard ware, and I got to say this was a great buy. One of the most overlooked parts when people are building a new rig is the PSU. Don't skimp out, get something quality to power your expensive hardware!

Great PSU
Pros: Lots of connectors, plenty of power, quiet, great price! I don't know why there was a noise complaint. My case fans make more noise than the PSU.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Don't skimp on the PSU, or you will just end up buying another one later on.

Nice PSU
Pros: This unit has plenty of power for most users. It is quiet and has not skipped a beat, as expected. I will be testing it further, as I will soon be adding a graphics card. There are plenty of long cables, and they are well-shielded.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: I have tried to save some bucks by using lower-quality PSUs with mixed results -- mostly dying within a year, so I anticipate this will last much longer. Also, I do not smell anything from the unit -- may be an isolated issue for the other user. Corsair seems to be responsive, as can be seen by their concern (and reply) to these comments. It was actually a selling point for me. Hopefully, I don't have to test their support :)

Quiet, cool, stable
Pros: Power to spare, works w/ my new Asus P7P55D w/ i5. Everything booted up first try and never looked back. Giant fan, but is very quiet - wow.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: I knew it wasn't modular going in...looks like the head of Medusa - lines enough for everything...even floppies and ide (ack!). But I knew that going in - thank goodness my new LianLi case has good cable management. I was able to hide all the extra-and-will-never-be-used cabling.
Bought everyting you see below, it all worked the first time I put together, no bios tweaking..everything seated right the fist time, too. Idiot proof, cheap, and power enough to fly the space shuttle.

Great PSU with one Dissappointment
Pros: Very stable and handles a lot like a champ.
Cons: My only gripe is the noise. Many reviewers state the PSU is very quiet. After I installed this PSU in my existing system (the CM PSU went bad) it seemed my computer was louder than before. I measured the dB level of all the fans in my system. My computer has Antec 900 case fans, no fan on CPU cooler, and an 8800GT card with stock cooler. I will put the dB levels in other thoughts, but even though the PSU fan is louder than the other fans this is still not enough to lower rating by an egg. This PSU is a very good one at a great price.
Other Thoughts: Antec fans: 25-30dB 8800GT fan: 25-30dB Corsair PSU: 35-40dB
These are all of the fans in my system. I know my dB measurements could be off, but the important thing to me was the difference between the fans, not as much the actual number. Since my measurements show this fan is 5-15dB louder than other fans in my system it confirms noise level concerns for me.
It is still not too loud and I love knowing I have enough power to add a HDD or two and still be ok.

This power supply STINKS.
Pros: Works just fine.
Cons: BUT! It SMELLS AWFUL! It will fill your room with a toxic smell. When I opened the box for this power supply it is inside of a fake velvet bag, like crown royal or something. Give me a break, this bag feels nothing like velvet and reeks of the worst toxic odor I have EVER smelled. My GF got angry with me because I asked her to smell it and it gave her a headache. That should have been a warning right from the get go, but I used the power supply anyway. It had a bad smell. I thought it would go away because many electronics power supplies do have a funny smell during the first hour or two of usage, but it goes away. This one did not even after two nights of heavy computer usage. The smell was unbearable so I decided to switch to an antec unit. Notice: This power supply is not ROHS.
Other Thoughts: If you are bothered by bad smells DO NOT get this power supply. This power supply is not ROHS, it must be full of something toxic. Corsair makes great RAM and I'm using there ram, which does happen to be ROHS, but this power supply is toxic smelling and I can't recommend it to anyone.

Pros: Arrived quickly and solved my power problems. There were a lot more cables than I expected, but this is a good "problem."
Cons: The item arrived DOA, but was replaced promptly and without question. The replacement has been working perfectly since I received it 6 months ago.

Decent PSU
Pros: - 4 6/8-pin PCI-E power connectors for dual-GPU systems.
- Seems stable on 4.2GHz overclocked Core i7 860 with Noctua cooler, plus Radeon HD 5870 and some case fans.
- Comes with cable ties, although I didn't use them because my case came with some too.
- Fan seems quiet.
Cons: - 4-pin Molex connectors have annoying plastic wings on the sides that get in the way in tight spots (such as between the CPU cooler and PCIe x1 slot on the EVGA E657). Fortunately you can bend them out of the way or probably even snap them off.
- SATA power connectors are upside-down if PSU is mounted in the bottom of the case, making it difficult to connect them to SATA drives.
- Only 1 EPS12V connector, which was disappointing because my EVGA E657 motherboard has 2 ports next to the CPU and recommends that they both be used when overclocking.
- EPS12V connector's cable was too short to reach from the bottom of my CoolerMaster Storm Sniper case (where PSU is mounted) to the top corner of my motherboard (where the connector is) unless I run it across the front of the mobo.
- Cloth bag seemed over-the-top. Would rather have saved $5 on the purchase price.
Other Thoughts: - Definitely a nice PSU if you're building a non-overclocked desktop with a top-mounted PSU case or a mid-tower bottom-mounted PSU case.
- Issues are mostly minor, so I'm happy with my purchase and would consider Corsair PSUs again in the future.

Pros: Stable. Quiet. Large fan. Got 4x pci-e (although 4th is dual rails from 2 other ones). Works great, had it for half a year.
Cons: None. Price went down a lot since the time I bought it :(
Other Thoughts: Great powersupply! :)

Decent Power Supply
Pros: - Plenty of connectors - Lots of juice
Cons: - Runs a little hot
Other Thoughts: I have a full tower, and granted I should have the fans set up in a different configuration, but this power supply runs hot, and I haven't really tested it with lots of devices and high power demand.
Overall a decent power supply and should meet most above average users demands and needs.

Pleased
Pros: Plenty of connectors and adequate harness length to not have to extend anything to make it work in a very large HAF-932 Case, I think that is significant enough to start. Solid connectors, wiring and harness all extremely well made - had to bend PCI-E wires near end connector as would have been worried with my OEM PSU, but this one was fine.
Cons: Thought the nice velvet looking bag, nice manual, expensive box meant they spent their money on perception, but this is honestly an amazing piece of equipment. No gripes as of a month into owning.
Other Thoughts: Looks great and works great, plug and go.

Had to RMA
Pros: Lots of power, and very stable. Comes with a *thick* power cord Has black machine screws to attach the PSU And its wrapped in a velvet bag :)
Cons: Had to RMA first one... the first would not even boot the computer...
Other Thoughts: Aside from RMAing it it has worked out great so far, gives my system very clean power.

Simply Perfect!
Pros: Performs first time Every Time! Great +12v amperage for my Dual Opteron MSI K9ND Speedster-WA6! Cables are perfect length for my needs.
Cons: Cables are not modular.
Other Thoughts: I would rate this power supply at 98% perfect. Perfect 100% if the cables were modular.

One of the Best PSU out there
Pros: I've built at least 12 computers using this PSU. The Computers are generally work stations. I have not had this PSU fail on me one time. I absolutely love this PSU and will continue to purchase. It's an awesome product.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: I absolutely love this thing. Thank you Corsair for making a great product I can actually stand by when I build PCs and Workstations

Cool power supply.
Pros: Corsair name! Nice looking. Cables have mesh around them so looks appealing to the eye.
Cons: Not really a con because it leaves room for expansion but; BIG, LONG cables. Have to fold up about 3 cables and zip tie them under the optical drive. But they are big and kind of stick out. I have a mid tower chassis by the way.
Other Thoughts: I like this power supply. It's running my Intel core 2 quad 8200, 4GB RAM, ATI Vapor X 4890 Overclocked, 500GB HDD system right now. Again, the cables are big and long, which really isn't a con, becuase you have expansion room, just tedious to zip tie etc... I probably would go MODULAR next time. I will update if I ever encounter problems with this Power supply.

A fine power supply.
Pros: Lots of power output, all on a single rail. The single rail design is really great. You don't have to worry about separating groups of components onto different rails.
Power efficient, saves money on the electric bill.
Quiet fan that flows plenty of air.
Cons: Cables are not modular. A bit pricey.
Other Thoughts: Great power supply from a good brand. 5 eggs.

Pros: At the time of purchase it was an awesome price for the power and it even has a mail in rebate which makes it even more worth it! It also comes with an Awesome Corsair draw string bag, dunno what you'd use it for but gotta love free swag! ha ha ha.

Great PSU
Pros: Great PSU, runs cool. Powers my Nvidia GTX275 and everything else perfectly.
Cons: Not moduler. This PSU has a ton of cables (which is good) but it can get very very cluttered as the cables are stiff and hard to move.
Other Thoughts: Great PSU, dont skip it because its not moduler. Its still worth it.

Solid, plenty of connectors
Pros: No problems. Installed this in a new i7 build, and it had more than enough connectors for all of my hardware.
Cons: none that I can think of. If it is true that all of the cables must be connected to the main unit even if they are not needed, that is a con. That is what I remember seeing when I was installing the PSU, and I recently installed an OCZ Fatal1ty PSU into a new computer and noticed that you could remove and add certain cables as needed, which is definitely good for cable management. But I don't remember seeing that with this unit. Sorry if I am wrong, but that is what I remember. Make sure to verify this on your own.
Other Thoughts: Compatible system build. No problems installing any of these components into a new build:
Intel Core i7 2.67 GHz Xigmatek Dark Knight S1283V CPU Cooler Corsair XMS3 6GB DDR3 (PC3 10666) (3x2GB) CoolerMaster HAF 932 EVGA x58 E758-A1 3-way-SLI motherboard EVGA GTX 275 896MB DDR3 Corsair 750-TX WD Caviar Black 1TB LG22x DVD Burner Windows Vista 32-bit

Awesome
Pros: Guy thats complaining about this psu not being modular has no reason to complain.... If you would read about products before you buy them then you would have know this.
60amps on single 12v rail awesome has connections for everything I need, and I will eventually up grade to a 1000watt corsair modular when my build becomes super power hungry aka dual 5970's or what ever will come out next year.
Cons: None. Bought a 650tx that was DOA, & Corsair was quick with a rma box and got me a new one sent back quick! so to any of you who get a defective psu it happens :) even with the best. Only thing you can do is hope the company has great customer support like Corsair.
Other Thoughts: PC Build this is running
Phenom II x4 955 quad Xclio Color Plus full tower case powercolor 5850 4gb A-Data 1600 1tb barracuda hdd msi 790fx will get a second 5850 to crossfire thanks to this beasty power supply
