D.O.A. 0 for 2
Pros: NONE other than the fact that Newegg handled the rma quickly and was quite courteous with the return order needed.
Cons: Did not work straight out of box.
Other Thoughts: I oredered 2 of these ( so called ) psu's one blue and one green. They arrived on time and with that I was pleased. I opened the first with the great expectation of being dazzeled by the 3 colored leds, and the hum of those two fans, only to be let down hard. I plugged it in and nothing, no fans turning no led lights glowing. I said o.k. not a problem I bought 2, but then I plugged in the second psu and the exact same as the first, NOTHING! This is no fault to Newegg mind you, their service was eggcelent and quite professional. I am, on the other hand rather perturbed with Apevia. Is there no pride in the product you produce or is it a lack of quality control? Either way I would expect at least 50/50 odds here. Needless to say I am without power for the 2 new pcs I am building but I am at least a week away from starting either one up. Thanks Apevia you really know how to disappoint.
Manufacturer Response:You can do an RMA through us for the power supply to get an exchange on the PSU if you are still under our warranty period. You can contact Apevia's customer service at service@apevia.com or call at (909) 718-0789. We try to reply to all calls and e-mails as soon as we can.

Neat until it died
Pros: Like the design and plenty of connections. LED's are a nice touch.
Cons: Failed 8 months after purchase. When system enters sleep mode (which I prefer) or I turn it off I have to change the LED color on the power supply when I power the machine back up, keeps on reverting back to green.
Other Thoughts: Overall for the short life of the product it did well.
Manufacturer Response:You can do an RMA through us for the power supply to get an exchange on the PSU if you are still under our warranty period. You can contact Apevia's customer service at service@apevia.com or call at (909) 718-0789. We try to reply to all calls and e-mails as soon as we can.

APEVIA 680 Watt PSU
Pros: Works well with an AMD 6000+ and a 3870 ATI PCI-e Video Card. Two 12volt Rails. Nice L.E.D. Lighting. Great Customer Support.
Cons: 1st Power Supply had a whining capacitor. APEVIA customer support was polite and RMA'd the 1st power supply and had a new one at my doorstep in 4 days after receiving the defective one.
Other Thoughts: I would definetly buy more APEVIA products based on how polite and helpful their customer support was. I'm taking 1 egg off the score only because 1st PSU was working but whining. Thank you Apevia for your quick warranty and thank you NEWEGG for fast shipping on the 1st.

Lots of power
Pros: Love the blue lights, cool green wire sleeves, lots of connections, and like the see through design. Also has lots of power.
Cons: Only con I can think of right now is when you turn off the computer, the red and green lights, if switched on, reverts back to blue again... Kinda a bummer to have to reach back there and change it everytime. Oh and the dust also gathers up and can't be cleaned out from the inside because even air cans can't reach that far.
Other Thoughts: I gave this PS 5 stars because it does what it's suppose to. Also nice to look at aside from all the dust it collects.

Update
Pros: Had this PSU for 11 months now. Time for an update. This thing is awesome. Voltages is a touch higher than rated. All LEDs are still working. Never gets hot. Not load at all. Very quiet. Cables are long. Great for BIG cases.
Cons: Pain to clean the glass. But that is what I get for buying a pretty PSU, gotta keep it clean.
Other Thoughts: Best PSU I I have ever owned.
System specs:

can you turn of the leds?
Pros: is it posible to shut off the leds? and if not how bright is it beacuse i sleep with my computer on beacuse i run backups frequently. thanks in advance!
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: i have the 550 watt acrylic PSU in my logisys clear UV reactive case right now.
Manufacturer Response:You can turn off the LEDs by pressing the Color Switch button on the back of the power supply. There are four settings: blue, green, red, and off.

PSU Apevia ICEBERG ATX-IB680W 680W
Pros: Replacement for ABS that was DOA! Nice clean & flashy. Price was right. Powerful enough for P5Q-Dlx operating iNtel Q9559 OC @ 4GHz on air with IFXZ-14, 4 HDD, DVD Writer, SoundCard & CrossFire. Fired up immediately after installation, have not looked back since. Good buy for any one desiring reliable, quality product @ reasonable price point.
Cons: NONE
Other Thoughts: Suggestion. Would be nice if Apevia produced a modular PSU but then the price would go up.

Dependable - but nothing noteworthy
Pros: I've had this power supply for about a year and a half, and I've had no real issues with it until now. I just one day turned on my PC, and found myself getting all sorts of voltage issues and I had changed nothing.
Looking into the matter closer, I found that I'm only getting about 2.05v on the 3.3v, and my computer will no longer boot up with the memory in channel A of my memory slots. I'm not sure if there was a power surge through the power supply, or perhaps it was a surge caused by the power supply unit itself.
In any event and in all fairness, it's seen a lot of heavy use.
Cons: As has been pointed out by others, dust tends to collect on the inside of the acrylic casing. I make a regular habit of blowing out my case every few weeks or so, and even with the canned air pointed directly at the accumulation doesn't seem to remove it fully.
The way the components are set inside, it blocks enough air where it allows the accumulation, but doesn't seem to affect cooling much.
Once the power supply blew, I went to Apevia's website only to discover (much to my disgust) that their warranty is only 1 year, where as a lot of other companies offer 2 or 3 year limited warranties; bust on my part - because I should have looked when I purchased it. Word of caution - don't let the eye candy suck you in like I let it do me.
Other Thoughts: I've gotten my use out of it, and I've had no instabilities due to power ripples. You get what you pay for - an average quality/design power supply, with a lot of eye candy.
As previously stated, due to the design of the power supply - a lot of cases only line up with 3 holes so you can only mount it uses 3 screws vs. using 4 (which will still securely hold it in place).
Although worth the money if you can not afford better, there are better quality power supplies available for about the same (as of this posting a lot of prices of higher end power supplies have come down substantially).

Plenty of Power where it counts.
Pros: This is a well made PS. The power is where you need it, on the rail. It's running my entire system which includes 2 new 9600GSO's in SLI. It's really neat how you can see inside the unit! The green power cables are cool!
Cons: Color mode as others have mentioned resets back to blue power off and back on.
Other Thoughts: Need big power for a Crossfire or SLi system, this is it hands down. Comes in a really nice box with a handle and a nice user's manual.

Maybe I'm just unlucky
Pros: 680 Watts of power for a price that's not terrible. Looks awesome. LED's were fun to mess with, and fan control was nice. It powered my system.... once....
Cons: When I shut my computer down for the night, the computer never started back up again. Currently trying to RMA for a different supply. Again, maybe I'm just unlucky.
Other Thoughts: Newegg is great. I don't plan on shopping elsewhere for a very long time.

i like it alot
Pros: It provides plenty of power, variable fan speed switch, three color led's. Looks real cool, and very sturdy
Cons: none really. when the fans are at full speed, they are a little loud..but i haven't found a reason to put them up to full speed.
Other Thoughts: not a con, but because it says you should install it upside down, so you can see through the plexiglass, it didn't sit just right in my case (apevia too). I had to modify the screw holes to fit. My guess is that this would work great in a case that has the power supply on the bottom.

Awesome!
Pros: I have had this PSU for about a month now and it couldn't be better. It powers my system with ease and has great voltage. Long cables for my ANTEC 900 case made the routing the wires a breeze. The lights add that feel of performance. Very highly recommended. This was my first build and went off without a hitch.
Cons: Doesn't have modular cables. Alot of cables!
Other Thoughts: Powers my 900 with 4 fans, AMD 5400+ dual core, M2N SLI Deluxe MB, 8800 GTS GPU, 2 CD ROMs, 1 HHD, and 3 gb ram.

Awesome!!!
Pros: Love the design and functionality for this PSU. Clear top case came really handy for my Antec 900 case that places the PSU on the bottom for a clear side window view of this design. Functionality because of the way they separated the cables so is easy to put away the ones you are not using so it doesn’t look like your sister hair in the morning…lol. Can’t really say anything bad about this PSU so far.
Cons: Only 4 eggs because it keeps going back to blue after the PSU is shutoff. You figured it will remember the color you left it at since is plugged all the time. That is the only down fall; other than that this PSU rocks.
Other Thoughts: The real score is 4.9

Pretty lights!
Pros: Looks great and does the job.
Cons: ATX 12V cable barely made it to mobo. A large graphics card might make it too short.
Other Thoughts: Antec 900, Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L, E6850, Zalman 9500, 2G Crucial Ballistix Tracer, Apevia Iceberg. This is my wife's Christmas present, very pretty lights!

Pros: Excellent look to it. The options to change the different light colors works great to allow options to set it up for your specific computer configuration. I personally dont hear it at all.
Cons: I personally wish there was a better system to controll all the wires and connector instead of just tucking it in a corner, but that me
Other Thoughts: My personal experience and opinion on the unit "I" have is that its an excellent choice. I hope yours will work as good as mine

Pros: I'm digging the ability to change the color and the pre-sleeved cables in green. The fan control works wonders, although my 7950GX2 is probably the loudest thing in the case, big difference in sound with the fans turned down.
Cons: none so far.
Other Thoughts: Apevia should create a modular design. Less time in cable management.

Great PSU for the money!
Pros: Awesome PSU right out of the box. Combine this PSU with apevia's fan line and you have a slick looking PC. They glow just as they seem to appear in your case.
Cons: None.

Good looking!
Pros: This is by far the best Power Supply I have used to build PC's for my customers. This baby lit up a 8800GTX and a Intel x6800 without a hic-up. Apevia has done very well with these power supplys. Bought 7 in total already, not 1 DOA.
Look closely at the amps in the +12V rails. They are higher than most power supplys. This is perfect for power hungry video cards, like th 8800 series from nVidia.
Will continue to buy these from Apevia.
Cons: Sometimes, the screws in the back will not perfectly align with the case's holes. So you need to use 3 screws instead of 4 to hols it in place.
Does that really count as a con?
Other Thoughts: The fans switching back to blue after shutting the PC down is bo prob because my rigs are made with blue cathode tubes.

DOA
Pros: Nice looking, lotsa plugs
Cons: DOA, fans would not even spin, took over a week to get to me with 3 day shipping (postal service problem, not newegg)
Other Thoughts: Gotta RMA it and that is gonna take half a month at least, Will just buy a cheap 500W til this gets back to me. Looking foreward to seeing this light up my case.

It died
Pros: It's pretty! Long cables and enough of them. Fans speed adjuster to help keep it quiet
Cons: It died. Replaced it for a 350W no-name power supply in a friend's computer. The no-name power supply seems to be better than that one ever was.
Other Thoughts: The thing gets pretty ugly on the inside after using it for a while. Even blowing canned air in it doesn't get rid of the dust that collects on the acrylic cover due to components blocking the air from getting to it.
