It's OK for the price
Pros: It works so far,, and it's quiet.
Cons: This is a cheap PS as you know. The ATX pwr source's wires/connector wasn't long enough to reach it on the Mother Board. It is the shortest I've ever seen. I had to splice a 3" extension on it. It wasn't hard,, just inconvenient. This is the lightest PS I've ever picked up,,, probably from small gauged wires used.
Other Thoughts: Says 480w,,,, really 350w with a 480w max. This isn't made to hold 400+ watts for a long period of time.

Great PSU 4 $
Pros: Everything So Far. Running exactly as its suppose to.
Cons: I had to move my HDD due to the lack of SATA connections coming from the PSU but t was just a mild inconvience.
Other Thoughts: I was a little unsure when i first pulled it out of the box but havent had any issues yet.

These are great for the price
Pros: -cheap -great value -pretty quiet with the 120mm fan
Cons: -none
Other Thoughts: I run a computer shop and have installed 50+ of these power supplies. For the value they are great, 120mm fan and 480w, these work well for most customers computers. I have had maybe one or two go bad over the years and need to be replaced but I think that would be the case with any power supplies.

Power of love
Pros: Great power supply. Plenty of power with SATA support. Easyly power average to gaming rigs like 3.4GHz P4 with 2 SATA 1TB drives and nVidia 9800.Runs on 99% of all rigs I've worked on.
Cons: Sticker shock! Remove fan sticker inside PS before turning on unit. They just fall off the fan on this brand PS and sound like a shock when it flies into the fan blades.

Works just fine
Pros: Has powered an Athlon 64X2 4600 along with a Geforce 8600GT for 18 months without any trouble.
Cons: Only one 12v rail @ 16 amp, no PCI-E, no PFC protection - but that's all listed in the specifications.
Other Thoughts: Cables aren't wrapped, it isn't pretty, but it got the job done. Great for low budget systems with few connectivity needs. Taking it out now to upgrade graphics card and get a power supply that has a PCI-E connector.
Overall a great value for what it is - and therefore 5 eggs rating.

Great PSU Dang Sticker
Pros: Lightweight, quiet, just enough connectors for all I need and a little more. Constant stable power from the several I have purchased.
Cons: The fan behind the grill has one of those stickers in the center of it. After about a day of operation the glue lets loose and the sticker comes off. This can cause a lot of racket or stop the fan entirely.
Other Thoughts: As a precaution remove the sticker before use. Additionally others have listed being lightweight as a con. That is a bit of a misunderstanding. generally that extra weight comes from larger/more heatsinks and the use of larger capacitors. That to some seems to mean quality, to others that shows the engineers did not make good use of airflow and are (over)compensating. I've delt with thousands of PSUs in the last ten years. Whether it feels like a brick or feather has little to no bearing on how it will likely perform for you.

Good for its price
Pros: Inexpensive, solid power supply. It runs pretty quiet and does the job.
Cons: That darn sticker on the power supply came off got stuck in the grill and made a horrible racket, had to power it down and remove it.
The cables aren't modular

480 w PSU
Pros: none.....cheap built .was very light in weight.
Cons: CHEAP MADE ....... 24 wire plug had the 3.3 volt wire backed out of its place......i reinstalled the wire in its proper place but the proc and floppy still would not power up.
Other Thoughts: am sticking with antec or OCZ psu from now on......they are not as finicky.

A Very Reasonable PSU
Pros: Very good return on price. Power supply is pretty quiet (the hum is readily ignorable). Wires are plenty long for a mid-tower case (likely a tight fit on a full tower).
Cons: As previously mentioned, the fan grill can get in the way if the power supply sits on a shelf in the case. Connectors are a little bit of tight fit, but that can be a good thing too.
Other Thoughts: If the power supply starts sounding horrendous, disconnect it and look through the fan in the bottom. I found that a sticker inside the device had come loose when it got hot. (Pulling the sticker out solved the problem.)

Gots lot for Less
Pros: It works with no problems and is fairly quiet.
Cons: Not realy but...
Other Thoughts: This isn't the PSU's fault but I had to remove the fan grate because it was getting in the way of the metal rails that holds the PSU in my case.

I thought that all those good reviews meant something
Pros: None
Cons: DOA
Really light weight, as soon as you take it out of the box, you know it's super cheap, weighs like a half a pound compared to a 300 watt one Im replacing, which weighs easily 2 pounds. The plug doesn't fit in very well and it's super flimsy; basically no components in it. I thought that if it, supposedly, worked for all those other people, then it would work for me too right? Well I was wrong, doesn't even turn on the computer, DOA
Other Thoughts: Don't waste your time on this and spend the few extra bucks. Refund please, I would like to buy a better PSU from newegg.

Pros: still going strong 6 months later. i push the hell out of it, and so far i have had no troubles
Cons: it is not 480, it is actually about 330 watts. keep that in mind. luckily, that has been all i have needed so far
Other Thoughts: a pretty good deal for a cheap power supply that works

Works well so far
Pros: Should fit most Dell cases without modification, runs 24/7 for half a year so far without any trouble
Cons: Not as quiet as some others
Other Thoughts: I bought this as a cheap replacement for my factory Dell power supply which died. I've been running this nonstop for half a year now without any problems. I picked it because it has the power connector on the back's left side and enough room on the edge to fit my Dimension E510 case. Majority of other standard ATX power supplies will not fit easily.

Pros: Good PSU for the price. Was used in a low budget system: Intel Celeron D CPU, 2x512mb RAM, SATA3 HD, DVDRW, several USB devices. Everything else is built-in to the motherboard.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: Got this PSU to replace a 550w one from another brand which burned up. So far it works good, and all the power info in speedfan is showing good. Great for a low budget system. Don't know if it would be right for gamers though which use powerful video cards.

A 330W Power Supply
Pros: Cheap, good value, does the job, is reasonably quiet. I have built or help built about 6 systems with this and all are running fine.
Cons: Its not a 480W supply. If you look at the pictures it tells you that. Its a 330W supply.
Other Thoughts: Big reason everyone is frying them is that they need something a lot larger. Do the math add 15% if thats under 330W, get this PS. It works great and there isn't a reason to buy anything more expensive. Don't calculate out 400W at load and then complain that this thing fried when you played Crysis. Do the work, don't complain when you didn't take the time to read labels.

Pros: 120mm fan is quiet, the price is right, and it has the all the power I needed for my 310.
Cons: Slightly misleading labeling: It's marketed as a 480 watt PS, but when you get it you see that it's 480 watts maximum and the real rating is 330 watts. No biggie for me, 330 for the 310 is A-OK .
Other Thoughts: Powers my old but upgraded 310.

Pros: Cheap, would work in a low end system
Cons: Voltages are poor every rail is at least .02 off and is very erratic. Ive measured about a .01 voltage difference while running stock clock on a 4800+.

Risky Business
Pros: 120mm fan, inexpensive, quiet.....Performed beautifully while it was alive...lol
Cons: worked for a couple of weeks then 'pop'went the fuse....
Other Thoughts: I was hopeful that it would last....I've purchase other Logisys PS....with no problems...Obviously not worth sending back....Installed with Rosewill case...Gigabyte S3 Mobo, Amd 4600+ CPU, 2 GIG RAM DVD ROM . Mild overclocking mayhave pushed it ....however I was way under the voltage rating or capacity for this PS....

Great Price, Great Product!
Pros: I buy these by the dozen. They out last, out perform anything even near its price range/class. Highly recommended if you are just looking for a power supply to last and work properly.
Cons: None. It wasn't free.

PS480E12 480W ATX Pwr. supply
Pros: I bought 2 of these prior to this purchase and all 3 of them are working flawlessly, voltage has remained steadier than 2 of the more expensive units I own and they were very reasonably priced and quite reliable so far.

Works great and keeps on ticking
Pros: Works reliably, plenty of power (even though it's overstated), enough connectors for a basic computer. No loose cheap connectors.
Cons: Only two SATA power plugs and they are very close together on the same wire.
Other Thoughts: I've built a lot of computers in my day and this is the power supply I've used in the last couple. The one in my main computer has been running non-stop for well over a year, so I bought another for my newest creation.

nice
Pros: lots of connections, LOW PRICE, big fan built in, lots of power. i took the old PSU out, popped this one in and fired it up. No hiccups, started right up. The different power cords are very long
Cons: The 2 SATA connectors are very close together, so it is difficult to impossible to power two pieces of SATA equipment that are far apart in the tower.
Fan a little louder than i am used to, but it is still quiet to be so big, just a hum. feel light and a little flimsy.
comes with ZERO domumentation, so make sure you have an idea of what you are doing and what plugs into where before you try to use this one
Other Thoughts: This one wouldnt fit into my IBM Thinkcentre case without the fan being blocked! i had to turn the whole thing upside down and figure out a way to attach it since the screws wouldnt line up with it that way. i got it though!
went from 230 watts to 480 watts, although i am wondering if it is really just 330 watts...

Questionable quality
Pros: 120mm fan
Cons: Poor quality fan
Other Thoughts: Fan makes a grinding noise probably because its bearings are shot, so it went right back in its box for a return.
Buy a better unit if reliability is of concern.

Pros: Ran good for 5 minutes, at least it didn't damage my motherboard when it died.
Cons: Lasted 5 minutes
Other Thoughts: Not sure if worth paying shipping to return, gambled on this brand and lost.

Great Price
Pros: *Dirt Cheap <$20 *Lots of power *Low noise
Cons: *A little light on the number of molex connectors. Not a major issue.
Other Thoughts: I nomrally don't like to skimp on the PSU when building or upgrading a system, but money was a factor for this project. I was concerned about the noise level from reading other reviews, but this PSU is fairly quiet. Just a low hum.

Over a Year and not a single issue
Pros: Price, Easy of installation, Good air movement, Silent, Plenty of connectors and length of wire is great
Cons: Missing a PCI-e Connector
Other Thoughts: I have been using this PSU in my Dell 2400 for over a month now and I have not had a single issue. I'm running 2 gigs of PC3200, 2 Dvd burners, 4 Fans, a Fan Controller, FX5200, PCI audio card, 4 HD's, Memory card reader and a PCI Raid card....and I very rarely shut the PC down. If you are looking for a cheap decent PSU this is a good choice

no problems
Pros: I needed a cheap psu, and this is working just fine...
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: No cons, because for the price, you shouldn't expect alot from this item, im using it for a p4 system that is soon to be retired.

Loud, but reliable so far
Pros: you get plenty of air flow & watts for the $$$.
Cons: is louder than my older 250w PS. It was not the cheapest one out there, but hopefully it will be more reliable. That's why I bought it.
Other Thoughts: Stand by mode with XP w/ the SP2 patch does not put it to sleep, but hybernation mode will. It's probably the Mboard & Windows driving this though.

Pretty Quiet
Pros: Inexpensive. Lightweight so that made me wanna test it. It actually faired pretty good...I Hooked up 3 Seagate cheetah (10K SCSI drives) to one for a load and tested with a DMM...it was well within limits on on voltages, in fact it was better than an Antec 550 that I had as a reference. I bought 4 more as they seemed OK for desktop systems.
I think this is really more like a 350-400 watt supply...so its a little overrated, so it got only 4 stars from me because of that.
Cons: Noticed a little more ripple than I am normally comfortable with in the power supply 3.3 and 5 volt lines on a couple of the ones I got when you first power it on during my load tests on my o-scope with my heavy startup load, but after a few seconds it leveled off on all but one. So they might cause some systems problems but so far none on the 3 systems I used them in. I just chunked the one power supply that did not play nice and gutted it for the fan...after all the 120mm fan is a pretty nice one.
Other Thoughts: Works well in a Gateway 3200S case. Has -5V which was dropped from the ATX spec...maybe someone still needs that, this one still has it if you need it.

Pros: Quiet and reliable after 3 months of 24/7 operation. Has enough 4-pin and SATA connectors for any 'normal' desktop PC, 24-pin ATX connector.
Cons: Power wires and AC cord are both pretty flimsy.
Other Thoughts: Working fine as a drop-in replacement for a failed Dell Dimension 2350 power supply.

Cheap power!!!!
Pros: 480W max, 330W minimum. 2 SATA connectors. Large 120mm fan. Long wires, good for midsize cases where things are spread apart.
Cons: 1 more molex connector wouldn't hurt. Sure I could just get a spitter, but it would cut the power to nothing with one to many. Got a lot of case fans and lights to run.
Other Thoughts: Does it come in black? jk Good power supply for the money and I trust it enough to put in one of my friends computer.

Good for the price
Pros: The price. And it works. 20/24 pin connectors is quite nice. Giant fan on supply... great cooling allotment.
Cons: It's only 480W... but I knew that when I purchased it.
Other Thoughts: This is a very cheap power supply... runs very well for me, almost a month and no problems.

Not sure about this one
Pros: Inexpensive; seems to be working.
Cons: Not sure if I got a bad unti or what, but, I can here this thing sparking at times while using it in my PC.
Other Thoughts: Probably will have to return it; maybe shouldn't have bought cheapest available.

Better than expected
Pros: This unit works like it's supposed to. It is really quiet, runs cooler than other power supply, and lighter in weight.
Cons: The 2 sata cable is too close to each other. I can't use the other sata cable if one is plug in to hard drive and the other to dvd drive.
Other Thoughts: The sata cable is much better off if they are separated to each other.

its alright
Pros: I'm powering my entire set up with this thing. 3gb ddr2 800 amd 3600 x2 64bit. stock is 1.9 I'm overclocked to 2.7 8600gt by leadtek 3 case fans 120mm and 80mm as case fans and another case fan 80mm used for my cpu on my heatsink. WORKS!!
Cons: I had to use 4 pin splitters to run my fans. It only came with 4 of them.. Now I have 2 dvd drives. that takes 2 and 2 hard drives.. that is 2 more. I'm using 3 splitters to use my fans.. this looks tacky but, it is powering what I need it to. Enough wire ties and it looks fine
Other Thoughts: came free with my area 51 case and hasn't done me wrong yet. Altho the case DID advertise another PSU

Good Inexpensive power supply
Pros: Offers over voltage and over power protection. It has SATA power connectors. . Large vented area. Has an extremely quiet 120mm fan
Cons: 330w RMS power. Only 4x 4-pin power molex connector & 1x 4-pin floppy power connector.
Other Thoughts: For the money, it's not bad at all. It's a nice little power supply for a modest PC.

Very dependable
Pros: I buy dozens of these every month, the only time they go bad is during a storm, but any power supply will go during a surge. Very, very dependable units.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Never had one just go bad

True ball bearing fan, good quality!
Pros: True ball bearing, strong and quiet performance. The power supply was built with good material and quality components.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: I was a little skeptical at the time. so bought one first, I realy broke one to check the ball bearing. It was true, there are two balls. Ended up bought another 10.

Using in a QA environment
Pros: Stable power, cheap, plenty of connectors. I have had it for over a month and a half now with no problems at all.
Cons: None found yet.
Other Thoughts: I said that I would post after I had the power supply for a little while. I have put this power supply through the ringer. I re-install operating systems many times a day and have not turned this computer off in 3 weeks. Just understand that you have to have to look at the true power rating when buying a power supply. If your old power supply has gone bad, wonder why... Get a UPS that cleans and stabilizes the power coming into the power supply and you should not have any problems. Just like a good contractor does when they are estimating for building a house, estimate 20% over what you need. If you need 300 watts, look for at least 350 watts. You can find a power estimator at most power supply vendor websites, Logisys has one on their website. I have been in the computer industry for about 20 years. I started programming on Digital computers and remember fighting over the RGB monitors in the computer lab connected to 8086 and 8088 computers. Wow, am I old or what... ;)

Not Good
Pros: didn't cost that much so not a real big loss.
Cons: I bought 2 of these for replacements for clients towers. One failed within a day and the other within 2 weeks.
Other Thoughts: Don't Buy.

Seems stable
Pros: Good cooling, low price, SATA power.
Cons: Mis-leading 480W power rating, really 330. Not very well known name.
Other Thoughts: I knew that it had a 330W true power rating and use it on a system that requires only 300W. I ran it for 3 days without turning it off and it seems stable. I will return with a rating again in a few months. But I am happy with it as of now,

Failed after 2 weeks
Pros: Good Price
Cons: After 2 weeks the computer started to turn itself off. Then it would not turn on at all.
Other Thoughts: Supply was so cheap it was not worth returing. I should have spent 3 times as much in the first place.
