Rating + 2 Not as Advertised Here

Pros: Works well for analog signals.

Cons: 1st of all, I have had the VGA version of this KVM for the past two years. It works perfectly IF you use a compatable power adapter. The PS/2 port just doesn't do it justice. The same is true of this DVI version.

2nd, The picture with labels here is dead wrong. The DVI Ports are NOT dual-link -they are only single link. It says so even in the instruction manual.

3rd, The digital resolution only goes up to 1280 X 1024. Ok if you have a standard display but simply not good enough for a 19" widescreen. You need at least 1440 X 900 for that.

Other Thoughts: Bottom line: If you need analog only and your on a tight budget, this KVM can do the job, but get the VGA version (much cheaper), and be sure to use a compatable power adapter, (neither type comes with one).

Rating + 1 Does NOT work

Pros: Works ONLY when both machines have been already booted by connecting straight to monitors

Cons: Will NOT survive boot up from either of the two connected computers. Have called tech support. They cannot help.

Other Thoughts: Both machines work fine without this KVM in line. Just got RMA and will try another KVM from Newegg (which looks awfully similiar to this one but is supposed to have a different chipset without analog support).

Rating + 1 Unimpressed

Pros: Nice box.

Cons: Didn't work once I removed it from the nice box.

Other Thoughts: Ante up for a better brand. With this one, you don't even get what you pay for.
