Amazing PSU
Pros: Only one thing to say about this PSU.. its AWESOME!!. Amazing performance and safety measures from this PSU. Have been using this PSU for abt 8months now and im glad I made this purchase :). Recently about 6 months ago, my comp wasnt booting and I was worried abt what the prob was.. the cpu used to fire up and then die again.. I tot it was a prob with the psu, but in the end it turned out that my old SLB cabby had one of the front usb ports touching the metallic part and hence creating a short. The PSU has been built to handle it in such a way that if there is a short being created then it doesnt power up the rig so as to protect the components. This one feature saved my entire rig. There are many more features and reviews too that suggests that this is one hell of a purchase :D.
Cons: NONE WHATSOEVER

One of my best PSU purchases ever.
Pros: I've been using this PSU for over a year and I have absolutely no complaints. It was $289.99 when I purchased it. I had 2 raptors, 5 7.2k drives, 2 dvd-rw drives, a floppy, a 7800 gtx, a tornado fan and about 5 other case fans when I purchased this. The voltages were as rock solid then as they are now. The PSU hasn't hiccuped or skipped a beat. I think I might be a silverstone fan for life.
Cons: Absolutely none
Other Thoughts: I see that some people had their PSU arrive DOA or close to it. Don't let that be a deterrent. Shipping can do numbers to ANY product regardless of the quality of the product or packaging. Mine happened to arrive fine. As long as you get one that works you will not be disappointed.

Tough and Reliable
Pros: Great product. Not a single compliant. Handles everything I throw at it.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: It's abit larger than your regular PS. So be prepared that some cases and mods will have to be adjusted to fit this PS.

DOA
Pros: Newegg has the best customer service ever! I only wish the products they have were as good.
Cons: Turned on my brand new built pc, started installing the OS and P.S. dies. It might have gotten damaged in the shipping process but I should have gone with a better brand anyway. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS! Spend the extra dough to get a really good power supply.
P.S. - Try to go modular, it just makes the process easier.
Other Thoughts: Newegg was fantastic with handling my claim. EVGA 780i, Q9300 Yorkfield, Corsair 2x2gb mem, Palit GeForce 9600GT SONIC 1GB, 320gb hd, Windows Vista x64.

Zeus ST85ZF
Pros: Greetings. Long time customer here. Silverstone is a great brand when it comes to PSU's and cases. The Zeus line of PSU's will truly handle most things in a stable manner.
Cons: Mine arrived DOA. Not only this, after connecting unit to test, all the LED's on my motherboard lit up properly, the PSU itsef has an indicator LED as well. As soon as I hit the switch the PSU produced a loud pop and rendered my entire system inoperable. Now, keep in mind the predicament, Newegg do not hold themselves responsible for such damages, in my situation I am still trying to figure out what fried. They did however, ship me an item that cost me dearly, and if these are risks from products they sell I'm not too keen on purchasing items from here anymore, even after years of doing so.
Other Thoughts: Bad experience with this particular model, if the unit looks like its been previously opened, ship back immediately.

Almost 1 year
Pros: 850 watts of power, lots power connections
Cons: I purchased this power supply on 1 Dec 2006 and it has finally gave up. It took out my Exos2 controller board before I figured out the problem
Other Thoughts: I am a power user and the pc ran 24/7. I believe the power supply died early due to its 80MM fan.

Problem resolved
Pros: Repaired the unit, works perfectly now. Running it 24/7 on an in-shop computer with no problems.
Cons: damper diode was installed backwards at factory, caused dead short on high voltage, not lightning as first suspected.
Other Thoughts: Silverstone offered to replace the p/s direct, but it works good now, so I'll keep it. E-mail must have gotten lost to mfr us office. I would buy again for resale or my own use.

3rd review
Pros: Cheap
Cons: First ps doa... Fixed it myself. Diode soldered in backwards, dead short. Silverstone has not responded to my email for technical assist.
Other Thoughts: Don't waste your money... QC of this level? Spend your money somewhere else. Mfr defects are a criminal offense... Silverstone is on my 'hit list'. I DID buy a LOT of FM121 fans, but this p/s? A response from the US OFFICE, with my requested techie info would have been great. They've ignored me for a week now.
Manufacturer Response:Thank you very much for using SilverStone. There is a chance your e-mail was lost or rejected so please try calling our US office directly at (909) 598-2318.

2nd review, first doa
Pros: Cheap power supply. cables plenty long and enuf for current applications.
Cons: DOA... no smoke, nothing... totally dead.
Other Thoughts: I'm an electronic techie, so fixed it myself for less than the rma return costs... Factory had soldered a damper diode backwards, creating a dead-short. Blew the diode, and also 2 mosfet transistors. Diode, 10-cents, 2 mosfets, $8. My time? Priceless!!! But, I put a PC-P&C 750 copper in the system. It works...

Nice PSU
Pros: Works as advertised. I've gone through many high quality PSU's and this one is very good and holds its own. Was the only PSU I owned that actually worked with my SLI system, (7900 GTX), and I went through 5 different brands.
Cons: After owning this PSU for about a year it looks like it'll be obsolete soon. It does not have any 8 pin PCIe connectors. I hope video cards, (R600), using these connectors will come with adapters.
It is slightly longer than most PSU's, keep this in mind.
Other Thoughts: Hate to see folks get DOA components but I don't believe a product should get 0 or 1 eggs because it was DOA. Every company ships a bad piece once in a while. Rating should be based on a working part or if multiple DOA parts are received.

so far so good
Pros: Has most everything you could want.
Cons: None yet.
Other Thoughts: Have had it a short while (for a power supply) so don't know what might happen. Good so far, rock solid power.

Excellent supply and very efficient
Pros: It runs cool, is quiet and veryefficient. It replaced an Enermax 660W PSU. Even though power supplies are most efficient at peak power, according to my power merer, this supply uses about 50W less than the enermax boat anchor that it replaced.
Cons: The cables are a bit on the long side. Warning, this power supply will not imporve your romantic life or your stature as an LED-BOY as it haso onlyh ONE led that switches from orange (no load) to green (operating) and is painted black. So if you only care about glitz and bling-bling looks, this PSU is definitely NOT for you. You should only get this supply if you want a well designed, highly functional and reasonably priced PSU with plenty of quiet and efficient power, It will not get you dates. In fact it works so well that you might ignore dating altogether. You have been warned.
Other Thoughts: This powers two Opterons 256's, an 880GTX and nine disks and does so at a 50W reduction as compared to the enermax it replaced (with less noise). The price is quite low for the power range it is in.

AWESOME when it works
Pros: Absolutely awesome power supply. Rock solid and VERY QUIET. It would make almost no sense to get a PC P&C power supply instead of this and have to deal with the terrible amount of noise. THIS THING IS QUIET, even under load. I can't notice it above my other peripherals.
Cons: I have had problems with 2 of these. The RMA department gave me a hard time at first but then relented and sent a replacement. When the replacement didn't work, they sent another one without questions.
Other Thoughts: If you are patient (or lucky unlike me) and you get a working unit then you will be thrilled with this unit. It has more than enough power to power anything you can throw at it. I don't usually write reviews, so you know that I am impressed.

DOA
Pros: Wrapped cables. Light on the back to show whether its getting power or not. Lots of SATA cables.
Cons: Power supply was DOA within 3 hours. As I was turning it off, the lights in the house flickered and the power supply died. No smoke, no sparks, just died. I assume it was luck that it didn't fry my motherboard when it went. It had a noticeable whine (capacitor discharging) on power down that I assumed was normal before it toasted.
Other Thoughts: Provided you get a working power supply, this power supply is excellent.

Suprising performance
Pros: Uses very little power. In fact, none.
Cons: "Power Supply" is a bit of a misnomer since it does not actually "supply" any "power" to anything. "Decorative Paperweight Sporting Colored Wires" would help the still undecided shopper.
Other Thoughts: Mine arrived DOA. I realize Newegg doesn't actually have much control over this, but they ARE the customer-facing entity and they are bearing the brunt of my dissatisfaction. Newegg's only hope of redemption is that a replacement arrives in an unbelievably short amount of time.
By the way, I harbor no illusions that this review will ever see the light of day. I just felt it my duty to let you know how let down I feel. Sincerely yours.

Reliable Power
Pros: Very powerful. 850 Watts will power even the most demanding workstations. Good efficiency (80+%), good hold up time, and active electricity spike protection provide reliability. The unit runs pretty cool and quiet. A lot of connection types for good compatibility.
Cons: Compatibility is good but not perfect. Some MoBos (e.g. SuperMicro) require a 24 pin, an 8 pin AND a 4 pin connector. With this PSU you can't connect both 8-pin and 4-pin at the same time so you end up with a compatibility problem. I had to rewire the 6-pin connector into a 4-pin to solve the problem, however I wish I didn't have to. The customer support leaves much to be desired. When I called the technical support didn't even know the meaning of abbreviations in the manual!
Other Thoughts: If you are looking for an EPS PSU unit then this is a very good value. However make sure that your motherboard does not require both 8-pin and 4-pin to be connected. If that's the case this is the wrong power supply to get, unless you really enjoy cutting and welding wires. However when everything is compatible this is a very good PSU. I am running 2 duel core CPUs a 7950 GX2, 2 HDs, 2 optical drives, and a load of fans on it and I have power to spare.

Convenient and quiet
Pros: This psu has many conections...more than most would need. It has 4 pci express conections and is geared for multiple hard drives. It is also one of the quietest fans I have in my system. A very solid psu.
Cons: With great power comes great size. Make sure you have a case that can handle this thing. It is sizeable.
Other Thoughts: No fluctuations in power at all. When building a system don't go cheap on the psu it can cause problems for your entire setup. If you need the power and stability this psu is absolutely a dream.

Excellent
Pros: This thing is intense. Plenty of connection options. Quad SLI certified. Powers new Core 2 E6700 rig with 4 hard drives, one 7950 GX2 (for now), etc. Quality PSU.
Cons: Pull out the wire ties. Cable management could be an issue, but is easily fixed.
Other Thoughts: For the money, fairs well against the PC Power and Cooling 1 KW. All reviews I have read rated this PSU very well.

So far, so good
Pros: As soon as I got this PSU connected, I ran 3DMark06, and it ran flawlessly. I could also start up FEAR automatically. The other PSU which I have that is suppose to support SLI couldn't do either. 850W is awesome power with plenty of headroom. So far, I am thrilled with this PSU.
Cons: The cableling is a bit much, but you have room to expand. So I guess in the long run, it is not a con.
Other Thoughts: For the money I paid for the PSU, I hope it is worth it. So far, so good. Running a dual proc, with a evga 7900 SS card, along with 5 fans excluding the PSU, GPU, and CPU, and going to add another video card for SLI, this is the PSU to get.

Power of ZEUS
Pros: Has 4 PCI express rails, and room to grow 6 connectors for SATA, and room to grow, come with the 8 to 4 pin adapter to fit most motherboards
Cons: Doesn't have 20 pin support; but why would you need this for that old of board.
Other Thoughts: It’s not modular but I personally like the lack of another connection that could fail
