Good unit
Pros: Set it up, everything worked right away. Flawless display on my 1900x1200 resolution monitor switching between a Windows XP notebook connected via a dock and my Linux desktop.
Cons: In order for any hotkey functionality to work, you have to plug the keyboard into the front of the unit. I don't like this from a design aspect and wish they had put the ports on the back as this would have been cleaner with less wires showing. Also, if you have a unit off and try to switch the focus there, the monitor for some reason continues showing the active display, but with terrible flickering.
Other Thoughts: One of the other reviewers mentioned something about advanced keyboard functionality not working. I am not sure what he is referring to since all of the media center keys work fine in my setup. It appears to pass the USB signal directly to the computer as a straight cable would. Maybe this is if you use the PS/2 to USB adapter.

360 + computer to monitor = working
Pros: I use a HDMI to DVI-D cable to plug my XBOX 360 into my monitor. Anyone doing this knows the hassle that comes with this when you want to use your computer, yet keep your console running (or in other words switch between the two). This worked right out of the box with my 1680 x 1050 monitor resolution; my very own DVI-D Dual Link cables work fine along with it. There is no graphical degrading, no sound problems on my computer's end trying to process the signal from the monitor, it simply couldn't work any better than this ATEN switch.
Cons: Not really a Con, but my set-up is my computer into port 1 and 360 into port 2. If I turn off my 360 while on port 2 channel, the switch shows my computer's display while still on the port 2 channel. The obvious drawback to this is there will be color distortion apparent, but this is fixed by swapping to the proper port 1 channel.
Again not a problem at all, but something I'd point out as of now (heck, it's the ONLY problem I can find)!
Other Thoughts: Makes a high pitched beep when you swap port channels, my last switch didn't do this so I kind of like it.

Great quality KVM!
Pros: Works great with many computers, monitors and doesn't seem to be picky about certain keyboards or mice as long as you aren't expecting the enhanced functions to work (they won't on any KVM, KVM's emulate basic mice/keyboard HID devices)
Cons: About a second delay when you switch devices to the keyboard/mouse working. Couple other KVM's didn't exhibit this behavior, easily forgivable though.
Not a con of this switch but a con of DVI in general. When computers boot the video card does some basic handshaking with the monitor to figure out what it can do. If the switch isn't switched to that computer while booting the video card defaults to a known "safe" mode that it knows works. Just a quirk of DVI that doesn't lend itself to KVM but easy to live with.
Other Thoughts: Steep price but when you want it to just work ATEN just does.

Not bad but pricey
Pros: Plugged everything in, it worked right away. Switches audio & usb devices nicely. Lots of options regarding what to switch, fully digital, comes with the necessary cables to go from each PC to KVM. When you switch it's fast. Doesn't go through re-recognizing all your USB devices. Text looks a bit crisper going from VGA to DVI but not a huge difference overall. I run a 24" widescreen at 1920 x 1200 and this handles it nicely.
Cons: this may be a bit problem for some people... you need to be viewing the machine that you are booting. If not, your display will come up as 640x480 or some heinous resolution. Not sure if this is just my monitor or not but it's not a huge deal for me because I rarely reboot.
Other Thoughts: I really loved my Linksys KVM. It worked fast and handled large resolutions and even my USB/ps2 gaming mouse. BUT at 1920 x 1200 res I wanted to get away from VGA. I'm very used to toggling between PC's by hitting CTRL + CRTL. That's it. This Aten unit you have to hit CTRL + CRTL + ENTER to switch (or Scroll Scroll Enter) Hitting the Enter key annoys me but I'll get used to it. Being able to switch audio, share USB devices

Great Buy; Highly Recommended
Pros: Well made/crafted, very durable, includes switching for DVI/audio(stereo and mic)/two usb ports. Keyboard commands allow for switching of individual components. Acts as a 4 port hub.
Cons: For some reason, if I turn on the pc when the kvm is not focused on that port, the computer gets confused and the graphics card limits the resolution to the lowest setting, and it will not let you turn up the resolution until you reinstall the driver, and boot it up with the kvm focused on the port. A little disheartening, but as long as you remember to put the kvm focus on the right port on startup everytime it isn't a big issue. This problem might also stem from the graphics card, but there is really no cheap way for me to test it.
Other Thoughts: Very good price on decent kvm. Comparing it to other kvms of the same price, this baby had the most options, the highest resolution, and came with all the cables you need. I have both a mac and a pc hooked up and they both work flawlessly (besides the startup issue).

Works as advertised, painless
Pros: Pretty much plug and play. Switching is very straightforward and smooth. No issues using wireless keyboard and wireless mouse. One of the easiest peripherals I've ever installed
Cons: The console USB ports for keyboard and mouse would be better placed in rear of unit rather than front but this is minor.

Works Great
Pros: Came with every cable I needed to set it up, plus some extras like the ps2 to usb adapter, etc. Set-up was easy. Just plugged everything in and it worked, didn't have to install anything and didn't even have to open the manual. Heavy box sits easily on the back of my desk and isn't tipped up by the cables. Not as big as I thought it would be and the silver/grey finish matches all my other stuff. Switches from PC to Mac in about 8-10 seconds, and from Mac to PC in 3 seconds. Played back and forth on the computers for about 6 hours straight with no glitches or abnormalities.
Cons: None. I was worried after reading the reviews on other KVM's. Took a chance on this one and couldn't be happier.
Other Thoughts: This is whats hooked up: PowerMac G5 dual-core 2.3ghz, GeForce 6600. Pentium 4 3.0ghz, Radeon x850xtpe. Samsung 245bw 24" monitor, 1920x1200. Logitech G11 keyboard and Razer Copperhead mouse.
