Great CPU
Pros: I have this cpu in my MAC desktop and it absolutely flys. It can easily handle anything I throw at it, and never show signs of slowing down. Great balance between price and power.
Cons: No 64bit support.
Other Thoughts: Just to be fair most of these reviews are based on the windows platform and my experience is on the mac, but in the end it's the same processor.

Upgradable?
Pros: Will my laptop be upgradable with this chip? I am looking into upgrading it. RAM: DDR-SDRAM PC2100 (133 MHz) - [DDR-266]. My current processor is a Pentium 4 2.40GHz Northwood Revision C1.
Cons: Not sure if my laptop's upgradable. See above to help me please.
Other Thoughts: I would really like to know so I can buy this CPU or not.

Good Mobile CPU
Pros: I put this CPU into a BTO notebook along with 2GB DDR2-667 and a 80GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive. This laptop flies! It outdoes most of my friend's desktops. Gaming performance is good, I have a 7600 w/ 256MB.
Cons: None as of now.
Other Thoughts: Very good processor, 64bit support really doesnt matter at the moment for laptops, as you cant get more than 4GB of memory into them.

Compatibility
Pros: Most efficient, least power consuming mobile CPU series to date.
Cons: Price (still a bit spendy), no 64 bit support.
Other Thoughts: Just to clarify, the Yonah line of CPU's are currently only compatible with Intel's Mobile 945 chipset line.So those who have an older chipset based platform (i.e. 915, 910, or older) will have to upgrade your entire system in order for this CPU to function. All this info can easily be found on Intel's website.

right choice if u have some to spend
Pros: fast/ the best
Cons: none i guess ou yea no 64bit which is kinda useless now
Other Thoughts: somehow i think that the reviewer below me is a bit wrong, the deal is that the Yonah core is supported by 975X... chipsets which is differ from regular M (915 chipset) it wont work in the regular laptop. Second the deal is also in memory used because 915 has 333 ddr memory standart and this baby is ddr2 667 or 55something. Well to the socket. As my understanding the mobile processors use so called 479 socket including M cpus, but the difference is that Intel didnt change the socket they added real 479 one instead of old 478. P.S.whos planning to upgrade their laptops dont be fulled u should buy completely new system if u planning to use this CPU

NOT Pin-compatible with Pentium M
Pros: Dual Core
Cons: Not pin-compatible with Pentium M
Other Thoughts: I don't own one of these, but to catalysts17az's question -- this isn't going to be compatible with the notebooks you want to upgrade, and it's got nothing to do with the memory. From Anandtech's article on Yonah: "Intel seems to have changed sockets once more, meaning that Yonah is not backwards compatible with the original Pentium M socket."
Sorry.

Yonah
Pros: i want to upgrade my laptop, but according to some of the post it requires DDR 2, well my laptop runs DDR (533 fsb) will the yonah chips work. i also have another intel laptop that runs DDR 400. will it work on that laptop as well. both laptops have a Gig of ram. and even though the FSB is not insync with the chip FSB will it work and will i see an increase in performance even though the fsb are different. has anyone tried it with success?
Cat
Cons: lookiing to upgrade soon, so please leave feedback?

To the guy below me.
Pros: This is a extremly fast processor and Is a good balance between price and power.
Cons: Runs quite warm and lacks 64bit
Other Thoughts: To the guy below, 533 ram works alot faster than 667 in day to day tasks when in dual channel, The higher latency of 667 mhz in alot of tasks actually ends up slower.

32bit Dual Core?
Pros: This is a very nice CPU, i have one of these in my D*** notebook and muiltitasking is very nice makes me want to sell my AMD 64bit 754 desktop and use my notebook for all primary needs lol
Cons: only con is its not 64bit,
Other Thoughts: besure to use DDR2 667mhz ram along with this cpu for max performace and dont go cheap on the ram..
