Good for the price
Pros: Good price/speed ratio. Works great for photos or videos individually on Canon 5D Mark ii.
Cons: When recording 1080p video and then taking a photo in raw/jpeg format the buffer overflows and the video stops within 5 seconds. Was not an issue when I previously used SanDisk Extreme iii cards. The price ofcourse there is double.
Other Thoughts: Great large card for the money, use a card reader to get the data off of it as USB to camera does not allow for easy access to RAW files.

EOS 7D Video Hiccups
Pros: The card behaves well with picture sequences in low speed mode 3fps. Picture wise it's a good card and also works fairly fast on reader transfers, seems the read speed is pretty good. The 7D high burst mode will make this card stall for up to 20 seconds depending on buffer use but seems no files so far have been corrupted which is ok.
Cons: I got this card from recommendations online for video capture on the EOS 5D Mk II. So far the performance is not up to par even to transcend 133x or Sandisk extreme III 30mb/sec cards on the 7D.
It takes up to 5 seconds for the camera to start giving you a red busy light. In some parts of the card the video seems to record fine and even with the buffer warning clips come out ok. On other parts of the card middle and end of the card the video can over buffer any second and you loose precious shots. The camera also gives buffer problems on the 720p 60 mode much more often.
Do yourself a favor and get the faster cards even the Transcend 133x does a great job compared to this card. If puictures is all that you shoot this card will work well for you.
Other Thoughts: Format this card several times on the camera I have found it can get less buffer errors by doing this.
No unreadable files yet after 3 full cards then reformat uses.

Very satisfy
Pros: Good speed, more storage, and great price. For me, I save a lot of money comapring to buying 300-600x CF card.
I have the 8GB Lexar Pro (300x) which will guarantee to perform flawless on Canon 7D model. However, they cost almost the same price as the K Elite Pro 32GB (133x), but it is a lot less storage, 1/4 storage comparing to Elite Pro 32GB.
The Elite Pro 32GB performs well on my Canon 7D. So far I have not encounted any problem or performance issue with taking picture using 8f/s or taking a full HD video on my camera.
Cons: None so far. One week, does not proof anything yet. To be tested more.
Other Thoughts: Please note: Prior to purchase the Elite Pro 32GB, I read a lot of review and found some users complaint about its performance with their camera, noticably on different manufacture (Nikon), or Canon different model. But I have not seen any poor performance on my 7D camera yet. This could probably be the result from 7D using Dual DIGIC 4 processors instead of using single DIGIC 4 processor like most of previous Canon prosumer DSLR.
There is a few users say they experience sometimes it drops frame in video mode on Canon 7D, but the majority do not. And I have not seen that issue yet on my camera. So you have to decide yourself, before buying this CF.

Waste of TIME
Pros: Cheap, Huge, Great for large corrupted and unreadable files!
Cons: I've had TWO of these cards so far and they both do the same thing. 5D Mark II. They seem to have some area of memory that is bad in the middle of the card. I shoot a lot of long videos on my camera and about 50% of the card seems to be incapable of storing my files. Files in the beginning or end of the card are fine, but movies and pictures in the "middle" of the card are more than 1/2 corrupted and unreadable.
Other Thoughts: Don't waste your money or time on these. Back to SanDisk I go...

Slow, card read errors, but cheap storage
Pros: Cheap storage, lots of it, and a thin card to boot.
Cons: Slow, causes the D300 to take 10s to turn on, when the card is half full. Causes card read errors when the card is half full and has a lot of photos on it, preventing me from actually using the full 32GB of card. Cheap storage that may work if you take large photos / not many files, but otherwise isn't worth it.

Works great in iPod 5.5 Gen
Pros: Works great as a hard drive replacement for my iPod Video (generation 5.5). The original 30GB Toshiba hard drive died so I replaced it with this Kingston card and a 6 dollar CompactFlash/ZIF converter board from DealExtreme (SKU 11814). The swap was painless (once you get the iPod taken apart that is). iTunes recognized that the card needed to be initialized and restored the iPod immediately and successfully. Transfer of 20 GB of music was considerably faster on this Kingston card than it is with the A-Data 32GB CompactFlash card I have (as it should since it's a faster rated card).
Cons: I wish it could have been as cheap as the A-Data 32 GB CompactFlash card that I have (which was purchased a year ago!).
Other Thoughts: I'm pretty happy with this swap as it gives my iPod 5.5 Gen iPod a new life as a sturdier, lighter, and hopefully longer-running music player. I just installed the card today, so hopefully it stands up well over time. Fortunately it does have a lifetime Kingston warranty.

Tons of cheap storage
Pros: Plenty of space to keep clicking away on my Canon 450D. No more annoying changing of cards in the middle of a shoot.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: It isn't the fastest card out there, but it doesn't brag to be either. Look at the specs.

Horrible experience.
Pros: Large! Nice price. No complaints there.
Cons: Slow! I got TWO cards, one from Newegg and one from B&H but they both give me only 4MB/s or less with both HDtach and HD Tune, using a USB2 CF reader, on my very fast workstation.
I tried on my laptop witn a PCMCIA to CF adapter and got 2MB/s!
So I tried back on the desktop, just straight transferring pictures and footage and it was SLOW.
Furthermore, on my Canon 7D I already got dropped frames while shooting video (6 times!). This is really bad considering that I got the camera about a week ago, and that the camera's video mode is rated at 8MB/s, less than 50% of Scandisk's claim to 20MB/s write speed.
Other Thoughts: There is something going on here... benched at 4MB/s? Dropped frames with an 8MB/s camera?
What does the 20MB/s write speed really mean then?
Did I get TWO bad cards?
Better not buy lotto tickets.

Slow startup time, producing errors in D700
Pros: none
Cons: the card would fail in middle of a shoot, and simply make my Nikon D700 reporting card error, i also have kingston 266 and a sandisk extreme iii and non of these cards give me error.
also, this card is extremly slow to startup in both my Nikon D700 and D70 digital cameras, it takes a unusual 4-5 seconds before I can start shooting with this card(cf light would stay on during startup).
Other Thoughts: don't buy for your digital camera, but it could be good just as a usb thumbdrive...

Worked great until it died :(
Pros: Decent speeds
Cons: Died after about 1 weeks worth of use.
Other Thoughts: Won't mount or format - dead. Too bad because if it had hung in there I'd give this a 5 star review. Alas... Hope Kingston has decent RMA service as I want this replaced prontissimo.

works well in my 2nd gen ipod mini
Pros: Formats to 30GB and change, loads files fast, and runs ipod OS or rockbox without trouble. Battery life is over 16 hours of constant play with an aftermarket 800mAh battery.
Cons: None. It does what I want it to do, and well for the price.

slow but cheap.
Pros: Popped one of these into my Ipod when my hard drive broke. It works. Its a bit slower than the old HDD, but hopefully it won't die in the usual 6 months that these things last me. ITS CHEAP.
Cons: The transfer rate is nothing special, except that it is SLOW. Luckily for me, the whole point of getting a large card is that I won't have to transfer music much past the first time.
Other Thoughts: I have gotten this thing to work after my hard drive failed in my 5G Ipod. I won't say its better than the old HDD yet, but if it lasts longer, I'll be impressed.

Good Value
Pros: High capacity, low price.
Cons: Write speed could be higher.
Other Thoughts: I bought this for my Canon Digital Rebel XT, which seems to recognize all the capacity of the card. I was able to take 11 photos in 1 minute, saving to raw + hi res jpeg. But with my 2 Gb "80x" R*D*** card purchased 3/06, I was able to take 17 pictures in a minute. I'm becoming skeptical of the "***x" speed claims of manufacturers.

Love Newegg, now hate Kingston
Pros: Large Capacity, free shipping.
Cons: Everything. Plugged into my card reader and computer could not read card. Immeadiatly stated that card required format, but could not format. Running Vista 64 with 8 gig RAM and a Cor 2 Duo proc overclocked beyond 3.5 and my computer couldn't handle this chip! Spent time with Kingston Tech support and their opinion was that the chip itself is bad from manufacturer, and would be happy to replace and issued me RMA on the spot. Only problem is they want me to pay shipping to return an item that never worked from the start. I've been arguing with their supervisors to issue a shipping label for their junk we'll see what happens - if they do not meet the deadline than will just return to NewEgg since they are excellent about taking care of the customer. After dealing with Kingston support I probably won't be purchasing other kingston products as I have had a pretty hit or miss past with their products.
Other Thoughts: While Kingston may not care as much for the customer, NewEgg is great and I will continue to due business with them.

Awesome Card!
Pros: 100% Compatible with my Creative Zen Micro
Cons: None at all
Other Thoughts: I used this card to replace my fried 5GB Seagate Microdrive in my Creative Zen Micro.
This was a massive improvement to speed, battery life, and capacity (5GB vs 32GB).. not to mention I can beat the hell out of it and not worry.

Pros: This card works great with my Canon 5Dm2 no problems with video, or taking raw+jpeg pictures...

Cons: none so far.... I have used it for about 3 months

No Issues
Pros: I've been using this card for nearly a month with my Canon 5D2, and I've had no issues at all. The capacity is wonderful and the speed is everything I need for this camera.
Cons: Downloading files to my PC is a bit slow, but I suspect this is limited by my interface and not the card itself. Under ideal conditions (i.e. when the interface/transfer is not limited) there are faster cards than this one, but for me the price difference is not worth it.
Other Thoughts: They are so cheap, I might buy another 1-2 cards.

4th Gen Ipod Hard Drive Upgrade
Pros: Affordable. Does the job better than the original hard drive. Read speed is faster than original drive.
Cons: Write speed is not as fast. I couldn't load all the songs in at once, about 250-300 at a time, otherwise the card would reset itself. After all the songs were loaded in (4330 of them), I had no other problems.
Other Thoughts: You will need to purchase a "Compact Flash to 1.8" HDD IDE adapter" and know how to take apart an Ipod to install this.

Works great in Ipod Mini 2nd Gen
Pros: My Ipod Mini hard drive was giving me problems... Had to restore it three times, and when I skipped a song I could hear hard drive seeking noise throught the headphones. This card is much, much faster than the drive ever was, my battery life is hugely extended, and the restore worked right in iTunes; didn't have to plug it in to external power like I always did with the hard drive.
Cons: I have so much music and podcasts on my ipod now that I will never be able to listen to it all... My new playlist with just my favorite songs has over 2000 songs in it, which would take 5 days or so to listen to non-stop... And I have 17 different playlists on the mini now, with 15Gb or so still free... These are not cons, really... Just can't think of any cons! :-O
Other Thoughts: There are instructions all over the internet to take your ipod mini apart... This is absolutely the best thing ever for an ipod mini, 1st or 2nd generation... Do it now! You won't regret it!

Horrible
Pros: 32GB and price
Cons: This memory is simply a joke. I bought it as a replacement for my current CF card on my Nikon D300. It worked fine for two weeks and all of a sudden it stops working and cannot format it. I cannot retrieve anything from the card or reformat it to use again. It is simply locked up. It is simply a horrible product.

Tested Writing As fast as Sandisk Extreme III
Pros: I'm a photographer, a dependable CF is essential to a perfect work flow. Kingston 32GB Elite Pro does not disappoint. I tested the performance of this card with a 8gb Sandisk Extreme III and a Kingston 16gb 266x Ultimate for writing speed (since that's what I care most). Here are the results:
Card Brand/Model Write Speed Sandisk Extreme III 8GB | 1min 15.6sec Kingston 266x Ultimate 16GB | 1min 16.9sec Kingston 133x Elite Pro 32GB | 0min 57.1sec
As you can see, this 32GB card performs very well. and if you want even better performance, try Kingston's Ultimate series.
Gotta love that lifetime warranty too.
Cons: None so far
Other Thoughts: highly recommended

Fast & Furious
Pros: This card has fantastic speed (better than any other "133x" card - mainly due to the fact other cards only use the speed reading to rate the "read" speed of the card, rather than the write speed. This card can write very fast (as of 05/2009) - the only 32 GB card with a faster write speed is Sandisk, and it's alot more $$.
Cons: Still a little pricey at a little over $100 for a CF card.
Other Thoughts: Can put new life into old devices and cameras that still use CF card storage.

Works Great in Sigma SD-14 SD14 Camera
Pros: Works great in the Sigma SD-14 camera.
Cons: The picture counter only goes to 999, and even in RAW 14Mega Pixel Mode this card is double that.
Other Thoughts: I upgraded to the latest firmware before formatting the 32GB card in the camera.

Awesome for Canon 5D
Pros: Works great in my Canon EOS 5D (not Mark II) with the latest firmware update provided by Canon. I will buy at least 2 more when the price comes back down.
Cons: Hey NewEgg, what's up with the price hike right after I bought mine? I want to buy a couple more but now I'm going to wait until the price goes back down.
Other Thoughts: I reformatted my card in the camera before using, I've already taken over a thousand photos and haven't lost any. Kingston is solid stuff and NewEgg rocks!!

iPod Mini on Steroids
Pros: Faster, larger, and more energy efficient than Apple micro drives! Lifetime warranty. No issues!
Cons: I purchased it for over 20 bucks cheaper than it's currently priced. The price should go down NOT UP!
Other Thoughts: iPod Mini 2nd Gen. Logic Board Part Number - 820-1804-A Software: EphPod 2 Speed test using EphPod 2 and approx 1 Gb of music: Apple 4Gb micro drive = approx 2 Mbits/sec Elite Pro CF card = approx 4 Mbits/sec
Setup: After restoring iPod via iTunes. Firmware version must be upgraded to the latest (1.4.1) version. Close iTunes, right-click on iPod in Windows Explorer and format it. Open EphPod 2 and allow it to rebuild the iPod's directory structure. Copy music to and from your iPod without problems or issues. You can even copy your music from the iPod BEFORE you remove the old drive using EphPod!

Works with Tarkan's iFlash
Pros: As in title, this can be used as an ATAPI interface HDD if used with an appropriate adapter. Has a rated 133x, but that is still different than standard HDD interfaces.
Cons: Still too expensive :)
Other Thoughts: I replaced my failed HDD in an iPod 30GB 5.0 series (Video) unit. Works flawlessly. 'Nuff said.

Instant 30GB SS Ipod video! (with adapter)
Pros: This is the perfect CF card for your Ipod video CF convertion project. It worked fine for me.
Cons: None.

Plenty of memory - a lot to loose.
Pros: Plenty of memory, almost half day of shooting. Was able to keep up with continuous shooting on Nikon D700
Cons: Purchased 2 cards, on one of the big shoots card failed with the error message in camera, formatting in camera or on comp. didn’t help. Almost lost 28 GB of photos, thanks to recovery software retrieved more than 90% of data.

Trick out your iPod Mini
Pros: I put this in an ipod mini. I'd never done it before, and it took all of 45 minutes. It worked flawlessly, although I did have to restore through iTunes twice and give the ipod a new name before iTunes would recognize more than 4 gb. It works great. Increased battery life, faster loading.
Cons: None so far.

Works Fine With Canon 5d
Pros: The 32GB cards worked flawlessly in my Canon 5d (and not the Mark II).
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: When formatting in the Canon 5D cameras make sure you have your firmware upgraded to the latest version. For example the firmware version on the 5d I have is the lastest (version 1.1.1) which includes support for CF cards larger than 8GBs. The memory cards will not format to the full space example the 32GB card formats to 29.7GB because some space is taken up for the file tables.
Here is the link to the Canon 5d Firmware upgrade.

Works in iPod Mini
Pros: Big and cheap! can't go wrong with Kingston.
Cons: none. Well, I wish it was free, but hey.
Other Thoughts: Installed in my wife's 1st Gen iPod Mini. Works flawlessly, make sure you have firmware update 1.4.1. Formats to 29.77gb capacity! Not bad for an iPod from 2004.

Works in my Dell Axim x51
Pros: Large Capacity Compatible with Dell Axim x51 Best Price
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: I purchased this Compact Flash card because the new SDHC cards would not work in my Dell Axim x51. I was very happy to see that it works flawlessly with no modifications or updates. Now I can store my entire Music collection and still have room for several movies, apps, and family photos (PDA has become Dad's photo wallet!). I can even keep a few clips from the Digital Camcorder! If you can't tell, I'm pretty excited about this card. If you have an old PDA, breathe some new life into it with this JUMBO Compact Flash card. It makes my old PDA as good or better than the new MP3/video players.

Fast enough for my needs
Pros: Big, cheap, fast enough.
Cons: It will be even less expensive next week.
Other Thoughts: I'm not using this for a camera, rather it's used in a Sound Devices 788T audio recorder. Concerning Compact Flash cards for the 788T, Sound Devices says "We recommend the use of UDMA x300 CF cards for 8+ track recording." This Kingston 32GB CF is not a UDMA card and it's rated for only 133x. Nevertheless, I was interested to see if it fast enough to record at high sample rates. Recording 8 channels of 24/96 kHz works out to 2.2 MB/s. Running a speed test on the above CF resulted in a rate of 4.9 MB/s; fast enough in theory. I recorded about 3.5 hours of 8 channel 24/96 without a hitch, so it seems fast enough in practice also.

Great Value, Decently fast
Pros: Given the cost this card is awesome. In my testing using a sandisk usb card reader write speed is 15.5mb/s and read is 40mb/s. In my Canon Rebel XTi the card is seen as having 30gigs free which just right.
Cons: didn't format correctly in my camera, which I am pretty sure isn't the cards fault.
Other Thoughts: Not a con cause it is no fault of the card. If you have the same camera as I do, do not format the card in the camera, it will only format the first 8gig's of the card. If you do you can just resize the partition that it creates out to 30gig.

Fast!
Pros: 42mb/s read, 28mb/s write over an ATA interface (CF-IDE adapter to internal IDE connection). That's 68% faster than advertised!
Cons: I doubt most older cameras or any USB card reader could achieve those speeds, but that's not the fault of the card.
Other Thoughts: Works great in my 5G iPod Video! Music transfers just as fast as the old hard drive (which died, of course) and much faster than the 8GB Sandisk Ultra II that was in there before (12.8mb/s read, 9.5mb/s write).

Works quite well with Canon 50D
Pros: Windoze Vista reports sustained write @ 2.5 Mb/sec, sustained read @ 2.65 Mb/sec. Works well in the camera - formats really quickly.
Cons: no complaints so far - certainly not the price of $59.95!
Other Thoughts: These speeds are right in line with Sandisk Ultra III cards.

Works fine with 5D Mark II
Pros: Inexpensive. Huge space. Runs okay in my Canon 5d Mk II. No problems with either photo or video.
Cons: none so far
Other Thoughts: It seems just as fast as an 8gb Sandisk Ultra II (the newer 15MB/s version).
