awful luck
Pros: bought a set this ram for my evga 790i ultra mobo, which worked well until...
Cons: .... i bought my second set. all was well using 4gb for a month. then i started having blue screens and other really weird errors and i couldnt trace it. after a few OS reinstalls (im dual booting vista and 7) i gave up for a bit. then one day, i looked at CPUID and what did i find? althogh all 4 of my sticks say 1333mhz on the outside, and ALTHOUGH i used the same link to order both sets, one of them (according to CPUID) is 1066 and the other is 1333. to top it all off, i ran memtest and one of the sticks is bad. switching ram now...
Other Thoughts: would run stably in 790i if you have 4 identical sticks... i for some reaosn was not blessed with this. also, 1333 C9 is not impressive; the ram i bought to replace this with is 1600 7-7-7-24 and the same price. just throwing that out there.

Great for price, fast, no complaints
Pros: This runs fast, no problems at all. I initially bought one pair for my build back in January, but soon found out that Windows 7 64 likes more than 2GB, so I picked up another pair in May, for a total of 4GB in my build. Unlike some other posts, NO PROBLEMS AT ALL running 4 sticks in my build. Running stable at stock speed, 1T. I have overclocked 10%, no problems, I just feel no need to continue overclocking (all games run above 60fps anyways). I burned these in overnight with Memtest86+, 0 errors!!! I highly recommend this RAM, btw, both pairs that I ordered had zero errors, 1st time for me in a long time that I didn't get defective RAM.
Cons: none whatsoever, other than they updated their sticks between January and now (run different voltages) I'm running all for at the higher of the 2 V ratings, and they are stable. (they run lower voltage now 1.6v vs. 1.75v, i think)
Other Thoughts: Asus M4A79T Deluxe socket AM3 AMD Phenom II 720be (running at stock and 3.2GHz on stock air) 4GB these ram, 4 modules in 4 DIMM slots. Nvidia 8800GTSoc 640GB RAID 0 HDD Windows 7 RC build 7100 7.5 RAM on the Windows 7 index
I'm not sure what the other post is talking about with problems running all 4 DIMM's installed. I have standard air cooling (120mm intake, 120mm exhaust, 80mm side intake, PSU 80mm exhaust) and there is no problem running 4 installed in my MB. I burned in all night, gamed for hours, absolutely no problems. Only hitch I think is that 2- 2GB sticks are now about the same price as 2 pairs of these, so if I was building now I might spend the little extra to be able to easily upgrade to 8GB later down the road.

Pros: Very easy to install. Fast and running good on XP 32 bit, intel 38BT motherboard. No problem
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: When I got this, it was fairly new and paid alot $$. Like anything else, if you don't need to have it now wait and price will drop. but if you wanna now, get it now.

Great Product
Pros: Great Product. Recognized right away.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: I have built countless systems and have had to tink around with ram settings on most of them, this was perfect at first boot.

Just plain good memory
Pros: This is my second set of this DDR3 memory. First set failed, but if you have built computers for a while you know will happen. RMA'd and got a new set and running flawless on a ASRock board with an oc'd E7200 @ 3.5mhz on Windows 7. Can't complain, just plain good memory.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Again, just plain good memory!

Pros: Great memory!!! I bought a second pair to upgrade my PC to 4Gb of RAM. Pretty stable so far. Price was a whole lot cheaper than when I bought the first 2Gb pair, almost $200.
Cons: I'm still waiting for a supposed $25 rebate from Corsair. The deal seemed pretty good, $40 for 2Gb of Corsair memory. The sticks turned out to be a Rev. 2. It doesn't overclock as well as the first pair I got. However, at stock speed I was able to have a lower timing. It turned out to be better. PC seems a little faster at lower timing than at a overclocked speed when booting up and opening apps.
Other Thoughts: I should be getting the rebate soon!!!!

Cons: You tell me
Other Thoughts: No problems, I got this running w the 4GB(2GBx2) from corsair, exactly the same. Makes a total of 6GB RAM. Runs just fine.

Good Memory
Pros: Good price after rebate; works well right out of the box. I just popped these sticks in and they were properly picked up by the BIOS (ASUS P5KC mobo).
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: I'm not an overclocker, so I can't comment on that.

Very Disappointed
Pros: When it works, it's fast.
Cons: I've gone through three kits and two RMAs. Every other set of DDR3 RAM has worked in my 790i ultra mobo. I currently have six sticks of this RAM in my house, and only two of them work. That's AFTER the RMAs. I basically gave up on getting good sticks. Oh, and they still don't run at the timings they're supposed to, no matter what voltage. Unstable Bad q/a frustratingly lengthy RMA process.
Other Thoughts: I have paid as much in shipping charges as I did for the RAM. And I've waited around for my second two sticks of it so that I could run 4GB for longer than I can remember. The result--I still have only 2GB, and even then it crashes periodically. I have never had this many problems with RAM, or any one piece of hardware, and I'm a computer technician for a living. Normally, I love Corsair, but they failed me this time. My frustration level is through the roof on this one. I just purchased 4x2GB sticks of Mushkin to replace this headache. Sadly, I paid as much for the broken RAM back in the day as I did for the 8GB of faster RAM today.

Great RAM at an unbelievable price
Pros: Works great with my XFX 790i Ultra board. I originally purchased two sticks about a year ago and they have been great. I recently decided to double the RAM and upgrade from Vista Ultimate 32 bit to 64 bit. The low price made it too tempting to pass up! Corsair is a great company and I have never had any of their products to let me down.
Cons: Some people complain about the timings being off.... The RAM ships with stock timings (1066 7/7/7/20) but you can change it in most BIOS to what I have it running at 1333 9/9/9/24. Also the voltage should be 1.6v not 1.7 Just set the timings to 1333/9/9/9/24 @1.6v and it should work flawlessly on most mobos.
Other Thoughts: System: Case- Antec 900 air cooled with 120mm Arctic Cooling fans Motherboard- XFX 790i Ultra CPU: Intel E8400 3.2Ghz Core 2 Duo HDD: 74Gb Western Digital Raptor, 2x 150Gb WD Raptors + 230Gb Seagate storage drive Video Cards- 9600GT x2 SLI RAM- 4Gb DDR3 1333 Corsair (these)
Also: I haven't experienced the overheating mentioned by some other reviewers, but I have a very well ventilated case so that may be their problem; no airflow. They have heatsinks on them and they stay pretty cool. Mine run at reasonable temps and dont crash.

Outstanding
Pros: FSB now at 1340 (from 1066). In about 5 minutes I went from 2.39Ghz to 3.2Ghz (E6600). After 8 hour burn-in, not one error. This memory performs flawlessly!
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Definitely a good value

Good RAM, have not OC'd yet
Pros: runs well, easily installe din my new AM3 setup. Ran MEMTEST86 for 6 cycles and had 0 errors. Can't beat with rebate (heck, can't beat w/o rebate). I'll be upgrading to tighter timings and 4-8GB once prices drop more on DDR3.
Cons: uh, the timings are not very tight, but for this price, who cares. I mean, buy this now, then upgrade at the end of the year when prices are down.
Other Thoughts: Works great in my ASUS M4A79T AM3 board with AMD AM3 Phenom II 720 be. Have not yet OC'd, I'll report any problems if there are any, but MB is running it great at stock 1333 speed.

Great Product
Pros: Works at DDR3-1066 CL7 7 7 21 Works at DDR3-1333 CL9 9 9 24
Cons: Pair with Gigabyte EX58-UD3R , SPD Detected the CAS as CL 7 7 7 21 at 1333MHz, which will give error at memtest+, hand corrected to spec , works like a charm.

Best. Deal. Ever.
Pros: It's fast, It works, and with the mail in rebate, It's 25 freakin dollars.
Cons: I have to mail in a rebate to get $25?
Other Thoughts: Buy this before the 15th and you'll get the deal of a life time. after that, I guess it's just pretty decent ram at an ok price.

2nd time around
Pros: Excellent ram... this is the second set for me now bringing me up to 4Gb total on a XFX 790i Ultra SLI, Q6600@3.0 Ghz and a 9800GTX. runs great!!! i can rip two movies at once and be playing UT3 on all high setting and my ram still is only at 60-70% usage i love it
Cons: if you have anything to put here you either messed it up yourself, dont understand memory, or you got a bad stick it happens deal w/ it!!!
Other Thoughts: XFX 790i Ultra SLI, Q6600@ 3.0 Ghz, 9800GTX OC'ed 6% PCPC 750Quad Psu 17,432 3DMark score

stable,fast, misleading
Pros: DDR3, cost, size, clock speed.
Cons: latency has two settings I think, 7/7/7/24 @1066 mhz (though i'm not sure about the 24) and 9/9/9/24 @1333 mhz (again not sure about the 24). My motherboard didn't see the ram as 1333 mhz ram, but turning down the latency was almost as good as it made the ram more efficient per clock cycle.
Other Thoughts: If one does the math, the ram probably isn't that much faster at 1333 than at 1066 if one manually adjusts the latency. I'll attempt to update this later for those who want to do that. Another review says the numbers as well I think.

BEWARE
Pros: Fast
Cons: I'll preface this by saying my friend who recommended these parts is an intel partner and put my machine together and did all the diagnostic testing. That said, I bought 4 sticks of this product and a -Intel BOXDP45SG LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard-. From the beginning, the ram was running too hot and would shut the computer down. Called Corsair and they said 4 sticks were never meant to be run at the same time. Ok? But we did try a replacement mobo (the first one had a slight bend in it). No luck. We tried upping the power from 480 to 550. No luck. The only thing that allowed me to play online for any length of time was taking the side panel off and blowing a 14" fan directly onto the ram. Even then, it only lasted an hour or so and of course my buddy, the intel partner, was none too pleased with my fix. lol
Other Thoughts: So, still don't know what the problem is for sure. He thinks its an issue with the mobo/ram combo. I'm returning the ram (hate returning things) and getting another brand. I don't want to downgrade because like everyone has said, THE RAM IS FAST, when its working. Wish me luck and good luck to you all. Peace
Manufacturer Response:DDR3 runs at a very low voltage and heat on the memory should not be an issue. If your problems continue, please contact Tech Support again.

No problems with the MEMORY!
Pros: Everything DDR3 RAM should be unless you need like 8GB+. Cheap.
Cons: Nothing for the memory, but will not change to "stock" settings of 1333 9/9/9/24 @1.7V on my P45SG (DO NOT BUY THIS BOARD ARGHHHH). Defaults to 1066 7/7/7/20 @1.55V ??? If I change it to the "right" speed, won't POST.
Other Thoughts: On an Intel P45SG (horrible board.. burn it to the ground) + Q9550 2.83GHZ rig (no overclocking... thanks motherboard) + Arctic Cooler 7 with EVGA FX260 216 card, 500gb 7200rpm Seagate, Win XP Pro etc etc.

Working as advertised
Pros: Running at 1333MHz, Memory Voltage = 1.60V, at latency settings of 9-9-9-24-1T on ASUS 790i S2E board. Why are some of you stating manufacturer says to run voltage at 1.7 or 1.8 when it doesn’t? (Just curious)
The manufacturer's link I'm posting doesn't say this: http://www.corsair.com/_datasheets/TWIN3X2048-1333C9.pdf
Works flawlessly; boots up as DDR3-1066 at 7-7-7-20 timings and 1.50V with BIOS settings set at AUTO. This is preprogrammed on the SPD chip for maximum compatibility. To achieve 1333 speeds you have to manually set the BIOS for DDR3-1333 at 9-9-9-24 timings and 1.60V. These are proper specs from Corsair's website. This is normal procedure for any DDR3 sticks it seems from Corsair, instructions are lacking in the packaging.
Cons: Having to manually set BIOS
Other Thoughts: I understand each MB is different, maybe the reason why some of you are setting higher memory voltages.

good stick, compatible with 790i
Pros: no problems with compatibility, just follow manufacturer timings of 9-9-9-24-2T and set voltage @ 1.7V, and manually speed @ 1333 and it works perfectly fine. you should use them in gray slots on 790i. also i was able to OC those sticks up to 1600MHz with no big trouble (had to loosen timings).
Cons: high latency (CAS9), but it works nicely!

Good for new, low power systems
Pros: Lower power than a lot of similar modules, since it runs at 1.7V as advertised, especially at 1333Mhz. High speed allows for easier overclocking on locked-multiplier Intel CPUs, since increasing FSB speed is a primary method of doing so.
Cons: 9-9-9-24 timings are only "average" @ 1333Mhz when compared with 5-5-5-15 DDR2 @ 1066Mhz. They do about the same on average in games and apps, so buy these for cheap now and upgrade later on when the DDR3 spec matures more.
Other Thoughts: The JEDEC specification for DDR3 is 1.5V, and Corsair has included 4 SPD grades for these modules at 1.5V although the timings are more lax. At 1.5V the radiant heat should be very low and will be good for HDPCs and SFFs.

Great DDR3 Ram
Pros: -Great High Quality Ram -Low Price compared to other DDR3 ram -High Speed -Fast Shipping
Cons: I have heard its not the best for overclocking, but I only overclock my video card anyhow, so it doesn't bother me.
Other Thoughts: As always, newegg's shipping was on top of things and I received this ram very quickly.
This was installed on a EVGA 790i Motherboard.

Solid RAM
Pros: I ended up sending this RAM back since I decided to go with 4 gig instead of only 2 gig, but I used it for 2 weeks without a problem.
If you are doing a new build, you have to go DDR3, this RAM will eat up anything you throw at it.

Corsair DDR3 1333
Pros: The price looked good
Cons: One stick went rogue on me and I havent even had it a month... I really wish I would have researched it more before buying these as I have been reading the same things from other users. It took me a while to figure out it was the RAM causing all sorts of problems for my system. Best not to go cheap - sometimes you get what you pay for.

not satisfied
Pros: Well I wouldn't go so far as to say this stuff is bad, It worked great until the point where it stopped working. I didnt have any trouble setting the speeds on it and getting it running. Maybe I just got a bad module.
Cons: It runs extremely hot. This is my first encounter with DDR3 and from the sound of it other DDR3 isn't as hot as this stuff. I didn't do any over clocking on it either. It was working great for a while, ran 10 hours prime95 blend test, no errors, memtest 86 no errors, then 4 days later one of them fails and windows blue screens on boot, memtest 86 threw 18 errors the second it started. Im returning it and going with some OCZ.
Other Thoughts: I should have just heeded other peoples comments and just spent the extra money from the start.

Great Sticks!
Pros: What can I say? It's DDR3 that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. The chips do run very hot, to the point that "Ow" comes to mind when touched. I was worried at first, but I've been running them for several months and have had no problems. They also run well at 1066 with 7-7-7-21 timings.
Cons: The amount of heat they generate is a bit much. I certainly wouldn't try to OC them.
Other Thoughts: This is a great deal for the price.

A Hot Price to beat.... I do mean Hot!
Pros: One of the Cheaper DDR3 memory out there. A Great entry level price for 1333 MHz DDR3 memory.
Cons: These run VERY hot when you increase the Voltage to get to the 1333 MhZ spped. If you have 4 of them you should make sure you have a fan close by.
Other Thoughts: In most ATX motherboards, these will be very close to your Video Card. If you spend $200-$300 on a video card, you'd hate to have these cause it to fail due to high heat. Spend a few bucks more on memory that's built for 1333 MHz at 1.5 Volt... or at the least, get a good cooling strategy so these don't start a fire. Personally, I have a fan right next to them, and DO plan to replace them as soon as I can find a reasonably priced replacement.
Oh, These were free with my Intel X38 Mobo for I49 dollars...

Pros: Fast, looks good, not too hot.
Cons: nothing to mention
Other Thoughts: problems on install during vista 64. ran into the over 4gb of memory issue, had to take one kit out and put it in later, happened on an evga 790i. Not the ram's fault

Using 4 is fine!
Pros: I have 4 of these working OC and they work fine. They are warm but not hot at all. This is with a Q6600 at 3.2 and tested up to 3.6 without a problem!
Do not be afraid to by more than 2 - buy 4 - you will be pleased!
Cons: None - they work GREAT!
Other Thoughts: For price and OCing - the are a great deal!

Ok RAM
Pros: Ordered 2 kits for 4GB total. Works at advertised speeds. (Had to manual set 1.8v on eVGA 790i along with manual timings.
Cons: High CAS and they do get hot!
Other Thoughts: eVGA 790i, Q6600, Arctic Cooler 7, Corsair DDR3 1333, eVGA 9800GX2s KO for Quad SLI, Vista 32 OS.

OVERHEAT!!!
Pros: Worked on my motherboard. Easy to install.
Cons: First, the heat spreader was not silver, it was black. Second (the min prob) i put 4 of these on my motherboard so i can get 4gb RAM. turns out that these sticks get really hot and made my computer shut down. The computer runs for couple of minutes (depending on the intensity) then they get really hot and my computer shuts down!
Other Thoughts: These work fine if you get 2 (max. 3 if u have extremely good cooling). if your planning on using 4gb DO NOT BUY THIS! I hope New Egg would let me return this without paying shipping!

Hot Stuff
Pros: It's Corsair. Lifetime warranty. Quality modules. Runs great.
Cons: Hot, hot, hot at stated 1333 mhz 9-9-9-24 timings (must be set in BIOS)so make sure you have adequate cooling; Factory SPD rated 1066 mhz @ 7-7-7-20 timings.
Other Thoughts: The heat spreaders on modules shipped were black and not silver as shown on the product description...looks good anyway.

DDR3
Pros: Screaming for my box38, waited until this month for this sale, even though I don't need more than 2GB, I ordered 2 more for 4GB because of the price cut. What a deal.
Cons: Wasn't really sure at $159 at first glance but with this sale, O yea, I've ordered 2 more for this rig.
Other Thoughts: Can't go wrong with DDR3, forget DDR2 or anything else. No use in even trying to use up all that all stuff, move on with DDR3.

pure awesomeness
Pros: Awesome ram... i skipped the ddr2 step and went right to ddr3 was only running at 1066 mhz at first linked w/ my Q6600 so i just unlinked on my XFX790i ultra sli and upped the speed and volts to 1.7 and boom 1333 mhz... i love it
Cons: the heatspreaders wern't silver? they were black which actually looks better w/ the 790i boards since they are black so not really a con at all =D
Other Thoughts: system= XFX 790i Ultra SLi Intel Q6600 @ 2.8 masscool HSF 2x1Gb cosair ram XFX 8600gt soon to get 9800GTX =D and 520 GB hdd all WD sata/300

Very stable at their advertise speed.
Pros: This memory works as advertise. As soon as I installed it on my 790i Ultra, it ran at 1066, a couple of tweaks in the mobos bios made these sticks run at 1333, just as advertise. I got 4 gigs of these things running on Vista 64-bit. BTW 64-bit Vista is crazy fast.
Cons: As far as Overclocking, not a good experience. I was really unable to o/c these sticks. As soon as I bumped the speed just a bit, Vista would crash.
Other Thoughts: I still give these sticks a high rating because i was looking more for stability in my new system. Not really interested in O/C yet, system is pretty fast as it is. QX9650 1333FSB, EVGA 790i Ultra, EVGA GeForce 9800 GX2, of course 4x Corsair DDR3 1333MHZ. Definitely recommend these to someone looking for a fast stable system.

FAST
Pros: DDR3 ram is the fastest ram ive seen, it actually keeps up with the rest of my computer, my entire computer can now run at 1333 mhz with core 2 duo 3ghz overclocked to about 3.2ghz wich is enough. got four raided hard drives which run at 3 gigabytes a sec each. Corsair ram as always comes with great reliability and stability.
Cons: expensive but prices will eventually drop
Other Thoughts: so fast

Reply to Vinc
Pros: Great memory we bought this memory with another account
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: Vinc- This memory only works on the best of the best Intel Based Boards so if you own this buy the Intel QX9650 more then double the proformance over the AMD Joke Quad core. See you all online I'll be the one fraging you before you see me

Fast memory...
Pros: Fast memory, works as advertised...
Cons: Expensive - I expect the prices will drop like a rock in the future at which time I'll buy another pair.
Other Thoughts: This 1.7V memory works great on Intel DX38BT motherboard. By default, the DX38BT uses 1.5V DDR3 memory but you can easily bump the memory voltage to 1.7V in the BIOS at first boot time. Also must tweak the BIOS memory settings to take full advantage of memory's speed. By default, memory runs at slower and more conservative speed until BIOS settings are changed.

Question
Pros: Can't find a motherboard for this type of memory. Or to support this type of memory. Sure would like to know what mortherboard supports this memory?
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: Does anyone know what motherboard I need to buy, and where to support this type of Memory? preferrebably a AMD Motherboard if I can get it. I have a AMD Phenom CPU I hav'nt bought yet. But will soon.

Fast Fast Fast
Pros: Very fast - Loads photoshop in mere seconds and gets around loaded applications like cheese.
Cons: It's still slightly expensive, but I got them when they cost like 400 dollars.
Other Thoughts: Get these ones. I have overclocked them with the rest of my system by dropping the speed but tightening the timings significantly that the peformance is much greater than stock. Good OC ability.

Corsair is the best!
Pros: Corsair memory never lets me down and this is no different.
Cons: If you go DDR3 and just want stability then go with this and all problems go away.
Other Thoughts: I have built 10 computers this year on Corsair memory. All I can say is I do not like suprises in stability.

Corsair for the win!
Pros: DDR3, fast clockspeed.
Cons: high latency, a fair amount of heat produced, and not exactly bargain basement pricing.
Other Thoughts: DDR3 will soon be the mainstream for memory and buying a DDR2 Mobo just seems like a waste. First pair I received worked great for almost a month when I had 1 stick fail. I filed a RMA and less than 2 weeks later I was back up and running, the replacements are working great. With Vista and all the high end graphics wanting more and more memory, is 2gb really ever enough? All-in-all though I must say I am quite satisfied.

Pros: This stuff is fast. The leap I made was from 4 gigs of pc3200 to this 2 gig set of ddr3. The installation was a breeze and even though the ram was not 100% in (a latch on both ram sticks was not secured), it still registered and ran like normal. I have never had any problem with Corsair ram, besides those that were of my own making, but the tradition continues with these.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: You pay for what you get, that being said, this stuff is not rediculously expensive. Although it is almost $400, it is worth it. I just hope Corsair makes 2 gig sticks of this stuff soon.

Wow!
Pros: It's fast!
Cons: Almost $400
Other Thoughts: I may have bought this a bit prematurely but it's really fast. When the 2Gb sticks come out, I'll be upgrading. Until then,I'm very happy

The new standard
Pros: It's DDR3, the new RAM, which is what will be used from here on out, and DDR2 will soon take the back seat and eventually die out. It's fast, and it's what newer programs and games will need.
Cons: Expensive of course. It did just come out.
Other Thoughts: If you look at the overall specifications, the latency on DDR3 is actually greater than on some of the the fastest speed DDR2, which in some cases mean it's actually slower. But face the music, soon that won't be an issue as DDR3 begins its reign. If you want an updatable computer, get a motherboard that supports DDR3 (because DDR2 WILL NOT work in a DDR3 board, visa versa) and get a motherboard that supports Quad Cores with support for the upcoming 45nm chips from Intel. ASUS P5K3 Deluxe is your mobo. I know it's tempting to get that Nvidia 680 SLI board, because it's faster, but it runs DDR2 and no support for the upcoming chips, so it will soon be obsolete to advances in computer technology. For the sake of updatability, just spend the extra money to ensure your not paying loads in the near future for an all new computer.
