Rating + 4 Could be awesome

Pros: 1 module worked absolutely perfect! Super fast memory, does support the full 1600 speed! Absolutely awesome memory

Cons: 1 module did not work. I removed an egg for Quality Control, not for the product itself.

Other Thoughts: These suckers are really tall. Be careful installing in slots close to CPU, could interfere with the heatsink

Pros: Very fast RAM. Was either gonna get this or the Dominators... but they were 40$ more and I rather get a new HS/F

Pros: Middle-of-the-road DDR3 that does precisely what it's designed to do. Heatsinks are great for overclockers and the price is where it's expected to be.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Everyday RAM at everyday prices, but with heatsinks. Nothing more to say.

Rating + 3 Rebate Denied

Pros: Pricey but fast

Cons: I bought 4gb of this ram with 1 available rebate which was denied by Corsair . Their websight has so many rebates and ram chips that it is impossible to locate the right rebate for your ram. BEWARE of corsair ram rebates. It's like thay want to deny your rebate from the git go.

Other Thoughts: Cant see any reason to buy pricey ram from Corsair in the future if they deny you on the rebate!

Rating + 4 Product good / Newegg messed up

Pros: Memory worked as expected. Fast and no compatibility with my AMD Phenom II x3 / Asus M4A785st-v EVO motherboard.

Cons: None with the hardware. A big problem with newegg's eroding customer service.

Other Thoughts: I ordered a week in advance to install during a trip on a PC 2 hours away. The memory arrived on time but it came from the RMA center with the package poorly stapled together and mangled up. I paid full price for a new item not a return. Although, after I insisted newegg paid for return shipping they wouldn't send a replacement without receiving the return. I missed my window to install the memory on that trip.

Ok, everyone can be forgiven for one mistake. The following week, I bought a DVD/CD recorder and it also came from the RMA center with pieces appearing to be missing. Again, I paid for a new item. I didn't bother returning it. Sadly a long time customer has been lost.

Pros: It's RAM and made by Corsiar...

Cons: other than rebates that take forever there are no cons...

Rating + 1 Right product . . .wrong company

Pros: Excellent product and can be relied on to perform well.

Cons: Corsair seeks an advantage with a rebate that is bogus . . I tried the $15 rebate offer and immediately hit problems. My opinion is that Corsair is in the "lets play people for fools" mode. This attitude destroys all loyalty in their products. Wont purchase another Corsair product . . tho they may be excellent. Better to have no rebate and an excellent reputation that is earned than to cheat with "flawed and insincere rebates"

Other Thoughts: Most companies and offers are legit . . . so when I find a bogus one I make a prime example of it.

Rating + 5 Return Review.

Pros: These give me a lot of stability with Overclocking.
Heat spreaders work, they stay cool under load.
Stable matched pair.

Cons: In the 9's. Yes there is a prt of me that would prefer a set lower in the 8's, 6's...
Trying to think of some...Hmmm

Other Thoughts: I use these on an MSI 790FX-GD70 and bought before a large selection was available. You can get down top the 7's but I don't change because I benchmark with the best and they just continue to give me stability as I play with OC choices, gaming, Benchmark stressing and everything else. Great sticks.
My addl. build is getting these also.

Rating + 5 Good Memory

Pros: Works great with AMD PII X4 945 CPU and ASUS M4A78T-E MoBo.

Cons: Heat sinks a little tall but not a problem with Zalman 9500 cooler

Other Thoughts: I use a Zalman 9500 CPU cooler that fits well with the memory in first two slots (orange). You will need to set the memory speed manually in BIOS (I set it to 1333 MHz) unless ASUS fixes the auto detection.

CPU-Z does not show the correct rating in SPD tab but does show the correct running speed on memory tab (1/2 the actual speed with 2 sticks).

Rating + 5 My first mem w/heatsinks-COOL!

Pros: Worked in my Blackops. First time I spent real money on mem since I bought 4MB(yes mega) back in mid 90s for $176. Been buying the usual stuff from the usual vendors since then. I know there is more expensive mem, but I feel like Mr. Money Bags now.

Cons: Wouldn't know if it smacked me in the chops. And it looks like the heatsink could rake me pretty good.

Other Thoughts: Set on auto, my Blackops shows 1066, not 1600. Haven't had time to investigate much, but others seem to have the same deal.

Pros: I am new to computer building and I feared that my mobo wouldn't read my memory correctly.

There was NO problem with the memory speeds! Simply plug in and go. I guess I got lucky, or maybe Corsair just rules :D

Cons: NONE!

Other Thoughts: thanks for the easy setup corsair.

Rating + 5 Got a good deal

Pros: Cheap combo deal allowed me to pick up the ram at around $50 dollars! I w3as worried that it might be the reject RAM of Corsair but I've been pleased so far. Both modules worked out of the box and i got them to run stable at 1600mHz, with clocks of 8-8-8-20, and a voltage of 1.8v. I run them just fine even during hardcore gaming for hours (Crysis); they do not even break a sweat temperature wise.

Cons: Did not post to the rated speed by default, but a couple of quick changes in the bios and everything was good to go.

Other Thoughts: A note to some of the complaints saying it did not run at the rated speeds: 1) Make sure you have changed the setting in the bios so that it runs at the higher speed. 2) You may also have to increase the voltage to make it stable at the higher speeds. My mobo defaulted the voltage to 1.5V so i had to increase it. 3) Make sure your mobo can actually handle that clock speed. Some mobos like mine consider 1600 mHz to be an overclocked speed, not the standard speed that it runs.

Rating + 5 Great Ram!

Pros: This ram works great and as advertised. Don't be afraid to use it, I was drawn to believe that I really needed the OCZ AMD edition 1600 but couldn't get it, sold out. After talking to the OCZ and the Corsair tech's, I really knew I wanted the Corsair. I didn't want to use OCZ in the first place and this ram does not disappoint in any way. It does not run hot at 1.8v. I have never had a problem with Corsair but can't say that with other brands. It's pretty ram too!

Rating + 4 Nice RAM

Pros: It is fast enough for me. It has a lot of surface space for catching a breeze to cool them off.

Cons: The spec says 1600 but that is only for overclocking it, it is actually rated at 1333 9-9-9-24 as noted in the ASUS MB compatability chart. When setting to 1600 and 1.8v and those timings, the system is now in an overclocked configuration. SPD sets the clock at 1066 for me that is, you may be different. The package came with one of the two chips dead and not allowing computer to boot into windows. The good one would allow it to boot up.

Other Thoughts: I have to RMA this back and get a replacement set. I have never had an issue with Corsair RAM in all the machines I have built in the past, until this one. Only knocking down 1 egg for the bad batch.

Rating + 3 Good RAM

Pros: Fast RAM speed, 4GB DDR3 1600 (O.C.) 1333 reality. The heat sinks sit kind of tall on the board, but that gives it more surface to catch a cool breeze passing through the case. If you use a CPU cooling device that is huge and very wide, it may hit these RAM. I have a stock AMD cooler for the Phenom II 955 and it doesn't come near them.

Cons: I received these two chips and installed them into a new board. The MB wouldn't go to POST and would constantly restart. I had never had bad RAM before and assumed that they were good. I RMA'd the board and bought a better one. I had the same problem except that windows wouldn't load after the POST passed all tests. I removed one chip and the computer booted into windows. I swapped the chips and I had the same problem with booting. Put the good one back in, and the computer booted. I am RMAing this set back and getting a replacement.

Other Thoughts: I have bought the Corsair XMS series for years and have been really satisfied. This was my first ever problem with one of their products. I gave 3 eggs because half the ram was bad, so a 50% rating is appropriate.
ASUS Crosshair III Formula, AMD Phenom II 955, This RAM, Saphire HD 4890, two ANTEC 600 series cases bolted together to house a large watercooling radiator, pump, reservoir system, Seagate 500GB, 1TB, ext Maxtor 750GB and Seagate 1TB backup drives.

Pros: Yes,the set needed more votage to do anything pass stock settings on a MA-790XT-UD4P AM3, at 1.85v i was able to drop timming down, at 1.9v i was able to overclock over 1700mhz stable, the heatsink works very well

Pros: works fine with a gigabyte ma790xt-ud4p,runs stable at 1600 mhz, 9 9 9 24,AT 1.8v.YOU NEED TO SET VOLTAGE TO 1.8V.
heatsink works very well

Cons: Not to flexceble with timming but i think it has to do with phenom II new dd3 controller.

SPP 3 default settings are off normal setttings,no default setting for 1600 mhz,

not stables over 1600 mhz with amd setup.

price seems high for timming but heatsink are grade A

Rating + 3 Not AMD/Gigabyte friendly

Pros: It seems like really great ram.... in an intel board or non Gigabyte AMD board.

Cons: Doe's not default to correct timings in my new Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P. This ram is rated at DDR31600 with timings of 9-9-9-24. It may be my board, probably but still it defaults to DDR31066 and is stable but not when overclocked. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I run Memtest 3.3 and it never makes it past test #5 on the very first pass when overclocked even to DDR31333.

Other Thoughts: Bah humbug. Got some G.Skill ram that was rated to be compatible with my board (maybe I should have done some research first, still sucks IMO though).

Pros: Popped it in and took off... no probs at all.

Cons: The RAM heatsinks are huge. It was not an issue for me though. My case and mobo are huge as well (Antec 1200). I had plenty of clearance, but I could see it being an issue for someone who has a massive CPU heatsink.

Other Thoughts: Works as intended. My Asus mobo recognized it at 1600mhz and 9-9-9-24 timings. Good stuff. Corsair makes good RAM.

Rating + 5 2nd Review

Pros: I have run this memory from 1066 to the high 1600's and it works at all my settings. If I use the board OC dial, or OC in Bios these sticks perform great.

Cons: None. They don't run at 7-7-7... at 1333 or higher, and it's not really a con the way these perform.

Other Thoughts: I am running at the advertised 9-9-9-24 timings at 1333 or higher. At 1066 I get in the 7's (not advertised). I bought them to use in my 790FX-GD70 with a goal for faster sticks ion the future since I was one of the first owners of this board and information was not out yet. They work so good that I have put those plans to the side because I am very happy with the performance I am getting.

Rating + 5 1650 FSB works solid

Pros: solid reliabilty. Clocked to 9-9-9-24 linked, synched, 1.8vdc 1650mhz as someone on here wrote, and I verify it's accuracy regarding this memory reliability. I had problems with OCZ SLI memory and went to corsair. I'm never looking back. unstable at 1.5vdc as bios auto-configured.

Cons: Zero. packaging didn't list too much info but whatever keeps packaging costs low works for me. The info was online.

Other Thoughts: Although stable at the higher voltage, I still invested in the memory fan device by corsair to keep the mem cool. Even at the settings listed above, the mem got warm, but not hot to the touch . 790i ultra sli MB and intel core quad CPU works well with this memory. cpu clocked in at 3.5 GHZ. Invest in fans if you're going to OC. It can be stable if you do a little research.

Pros: Decent ram. I can't really complain for what i paid. $47 bucks with the Phenom II X4 955 combo deal. :)

Cons: The ram does not seem to like tighter timings. I tried to run the ram at 7-7-7-20@1333 and I could not get it stable for the life of me.

Pros: Stable at 1600mhz, 9-9-9-24 @ 57.2ns latency in WinXPx64. I have the voltage at 1.75v. Havent even tried to overclock. Probably wont. No need to.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: The heat spreaders are pretty tall. Could possibly interfere with certain CPU fan/heatsinks.

Pros: Great performing memory for under a hundred bucks.

Cons: One stick was defective so now I must wait another week until the RMA goes through. Grrr.

Other Thoughts: Great way to get into the DDR 3 Realm at the price, just be aware that you might be receiving a faulty stick.

Rating + 5 Performance:price can't be beaten

Pros: Best performance to price ratio. And they are fast. As reliable as they're allowed to be. What more can be said?

Cons: Heat spreaders are quite tall, not really a problem for me though. May not fit if your CPU heatsink is large and/or close to the DIMM slots you intend to use.

Can't pass Memtest at 1600mHz using any combination of timings, voltages, and settings on an MSI 790FX-GD70. Some may have had success, others and myself have not. Not the fault of the RAM though, so I won't be crushing any eggs in this review.

Other Thoughts: Running stable at 1333mHz on (motherboard's) stock voltage of 1.6 is fine for now. Looking forward to using these to a fuller potential with the next motherboard BIOS update... hopefully.

Wish MB and RAM manufacturers would step on these silly board/memory incompatibilities. I got lucky-ish.

Rating + 4 Solid memory

Pros: Bang for the buck this DDR3 memory is hard to beat. Installed all 8 Gig without any issues.

Cons: #1 complaint is the industry needs to get back on target!

Memory standards before worked fine for years then all the sudden with DDR3 they can't get their act together and agree with the motherboard folks.

Memory should have one primary setting - advertised setting that meets 100% of its stated requirements. The optional other setting is free lance better know what you are doing tweaks.

The heat spreaders rise pretty high off of the memory so you need to look out for physical blockages, like your mother board vs drive bays etc.

Other Thoughts: Installed Windows 7 64bit beta without any issues at 8Gig. I am glad Microsoft learned from the Vista mistake of not handling memory above 4Gig - prior to Vista64 sp1.

Pros: Lots of Ram, low price. Great buy for DDR3. XP 64-bit picks up 4 gb no problem.

Cons: I have the Asus M4A79T Deluxe coupled with these guys. With the auto setting, I'm getting 7-7-7-20, and CPU-Z says 533 mhz. I tried adjusting the voltage and Mhz in bios, but it made my system unstable and blue screen. Running auto for now, waiting to hear back from Corsair support.

Pros: Excellent Memory for the price and speed.

Cons: Only Con is that my board, ASUS M4A78T-E, was unable to recognize the proper speed and voltage of the memory. I had to manually set 1.8v and tell it to go at DDR3-1600 however I still have not understood the timings and they are still wonky but have not cause an unstable environment.

Other Thoughts: If anyone is more expert on memory timings and M4A78T-E board, i would like some advice. dave.calvin@gmail.com thank you :)

Rating + 5 Works Great!

Pros: Runs at ~1480 MHz at 8-8-8-20 in my Asus P6T Deluxe. I have four sticks installed in the board - all appear in BIOS/Windows and CPUID indicates that they are running in triple channel mode. 0 problems with overnight prime95 torture test runs. this is a viable option for core i7 boards - or at least the P6T.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: my core i7 920 is running at 3.71 GHz. the RAM voltage is set at 1.64V. maybe i'm just lucky? the only reason i am running this ram as opposed to a triple channel kit(s) is that my local retailer did not have any tri-channel kits available when i bought my 920 (bought it on day it was released). despite all the 'warnings' that i found about using non-1.65V DDR3, this stuff has been great. YMMV, of course.

Rating + 1 Bad Memory For P45 Chipsets

Pros: It was priced well

Cons: The memory states that it is 1600 speed memory, but after installing on a p45 chipset and automatically running at 1066 you'll read about the problems other people are having on Corsairs forums. The memory FAILS to run at the stated speed on my P45 motherboard and there is a no refund policy with this memory. There were no warnings or disclaimers, this memory is falsely advertising the stated speed at which it says it runs.

Other Thoughts: If I would have know this memory would not run at 1600 I would have bought something else.

Rating + 3 Really wish I go go over 1.5V on mobo

Pros: It works right out of the package at 1066

Cons: I bought the intel mobo DX58SO and when I started the system found out that this ram is preset at 1066Mhz. Corsair says to use it at 1600 i need to OC at 1,6V but the Mobo came with a warning not to OC anything over 1,5 so I'm afraid to go forward with that am I'm sure that's where my PC bottlenecks. This makes me wish I paid 50$ more and went with a better board for my I7 and would of got 6 ram slots instead of only 4... I guess it's my fault for going cheap on my high end pc but I trusted Intel...

Pros: I purchased Corsair 1600mhz 4gb(2x2gb) to replace my Patriot 1333mhz 2gb(2x1gb). The cas timings were slightly higher on the Corsairs. Cons: none so far.

Pros: Timings aren't the best, but this is a good price for DDR3. I'm looking at picking up another 4GB for a total of 8. Running Vista Ultimate 64bit.

Cons: Make sure you adjust your voltage in your Bios. After a BIOS update I had to adjust all my settings, timings, clock speeds and whatnot. I did forget to adjust the voltage, and the 1.5v it was set at was causing random system hangs. This isn't really a con, more my own stupidity for not remembering to change the voltage.

Other Thoughts: Keep an eye on DDR3 prices, this is about half the price I paid 9 months ago.

Pros: Fast memory, I have owned the 4 gig kit for about a month and have had zero issues with this kit.

Cons: The 1600 FSB is not set up for this memory nor is the 1.8v setting so you have got to understand alittle about what your doing in the BIOS to get this kit to run 1600 FBS

Other Thoughts: One thing before buying this kit, understand the operating system that you are using, such as 32 bit or 64 bit windows operating systems. 32 bit windows will not use all 4 gigs of this kit. 64bit window however will.

Rating + 5 Some of the best RAM out there!

Pros: when my last mobo fried (an XFX), I fought, and finally decided to put in an EVGA 790i ULTRA. Now, the only issue was, I needed DDR3. so, I did my research, and found these beauties. I got to say, this is some of the fastest RAM I've ever seen, and I've seen some really nice RAM. Even a friend of mine that thinks DDR3 isn't worth the sacrifice in timing for bandwidth was impressed. I have these at their factory timings, I did have to manually set them though, but nothing two minuets in BIOS couldn't fix (and plus, what DDR3 set don't you have to do that for?). Now, in BF2, BF2142, and Frontlines: Fuel of War, I get a minimum of 100 FPS, with everything on high!, big jump, considering that it's previous MAXIMUM was 60 fps, with settings on Low, and that was on good days. mind you, the only change was from a XFX 680i and 2gigs of DDR2 (3-3-3-7 @ 1200Mhz if memory serves) to this. so you judge, but I don't think I would see a jump from 60fps max, to 100fps min with just these upgrades.

Cons: umm... price... but it's bleeding edge, what do you expect? or at least it was when these puppies came out. I bough these on sale for $400, as you can see, in a matter of a few months, the price has dropped by half.

Other Thoughts: When DDR2 came out, it ran what DDR3 was running in price when when it first came out. But, DDR3's prices is falling twice as fast, thanks to early adopters. so, to those nay sayers out there saying 'too much', I have a couple things to say to you:
1: it's the bleeding edge. either you need it, or you don't. and if you need it, you'll spend the money.
2: wait a few more months, and this set'll probably be down to $100.

Rating + 5 Great Ram for the money

Pros: I have this ram running at 8-7-7-20-27-2T @ 1.9volts rock hard stable on a Evga 790i Ultra SLI motherboard. I'm pretty sure I could go down a little more on the voltage to cool things down some more.

Cons: Won't run at 7-7-7-20 like it's $400 brother...

Other Thoughts: Half the cost of the 7-7-7-20 version and probably runs within 15% of the same speed after these are overclocked some. Money well spent, performance to cost ratio is very high if you are going to overclock. I recommend to pick these up over the 7-7-7-20 chips and save $200.

Pros: big.... quick... and for DDR3 relativly inexpensive

Cons: was a pain to get running stable. tried the specs on the ram (1600MHz 9-9-9-24) and all sorts of blue screens ensued. Quick call to corsair and they got me squared away.

Other Thoughts: turns out my problem the memory was auto detected as 9-9-9-26-1t, I changed it to 9-9-9-24-1t, but Corsair techie let me know it should be 2t. and if you plan to run 8Gb of this ( as I am ) to run at 1333MHz

Rating + 4 Decent ram *Not for Overclockers*

Pros: Worked Immediately. Set the timings and they worked flawlessly. I even dropped the timings to 7-7-7-18 and it still worked @1.8v.

Cons: This ram was extremely throttled by my CPU (q6600). When I overclocked my cpu to 3.0ghz it immediately started running the way it should. I was getting very low memory benchmarks (memory read speed of 6800mb/s) until i overclocked (memory read speed of 9500 mb/s).

Other Thoughts: The farther you go from a 2:1 ratio the worse this ram performs. At a fsb of 400 this ram will fly but at 266 it's running like slow DDR2.

Side note: My set wouldn't overclock to 1800mhz with any timings no matter what I tried.

If you have the money by faster ram or buy this set with the tighter timings

Rating + 5 No Problems, but...

Pros: it's RAM, and it fits into my board, and my board seems to like it, so no problems.

Cons: Limited to 1333 by my CPU, but not its fault so no egg crushing.

Rating + 5 Works great!

Pros: It's relatively inexpensive and a solid performer from a trusted company. Corsair RAM has been my choice since 2001 and I have had no complaints. I'm currently running 8GB of this RAM (two of these kits) in an EVGA nForce 790i Ultra motherboard and it is rock-solid.

As far as a Newegg portion of this review, it goes without saying that they rocked as usual!

Cons: Personally I haven't experienced an issue with this kit, but it is not officially recommended to run 8GB with a 790i chipset. Corsair says it's hit-or-miss. I am running it at 1066MHz to avoid instability and haven't tested it at 1600MHz, so caveat emptor on that point.

Rating + 4 Update to Below - Stable but Finicky

Pros: Fast when stable. Corsair was pretty quick to give an RMA without much questioning. The fact that Corsair was quick to issue an RMA leads me to suspect that either there is a problem with their particular line of RAM and they know it, or that they know that DDR3 is not yet ready for prime time. Could just be great customer service I guess. For better or worse, I learned more than I cared to learn in configuring this RAM.

Cons: Took way too much time (IMO) to get working stable. Required the addition of a fan directed at the memory to get stable in (4) 2GB DIMM configuration.

Other Thoughts: After spending much time testing and retesting (Memtest86+) various DIMM socket configurations, voltages and timings, I have finally found a configuration that is stable. I had to add a fan (120mm that came with the case) that is pointed directly at the RAM to cool DIMMs sufficiently. It is this that seemed to get the best results (while corsair described this as optional), so further optimization might be possible.

FWIW - here are my settings

AI Overclock Tuner - Auto
FSB Frequency Change - Auto
DRAM Frequency - 1333MHz selected; 1336 MHz reported
DRAM Command - 2N
DRAM Timing Control - Manual
CAS# Latency - 9
RAS# to CAS# Delay - 9
RAS# Pre Time - 9
RAS# ACT Time - 24
DRAM Voltage - 1.5

In 14 years of building PCs, I have never heard of having to fan cool RAM that was not overclocked or supplied higher voltage. Perhaps the DIMM slots are too densely packed on the ASUS P5e3 Premium.

Rating + 3 One Kit DOA after 2 months

Pros: Pretty fast system (specs below) running the RAM @1333MHz 9-9-9-24 1.8V and Auto VNb - while it lasted. Newegg provided fast order filling and shipment as always.

Cons: After 2 months, one kit died. It took me a few blue screens and several days of troubleshooting to determine that the kit was bad. Passed windows memory check but failed memtest86. RMA'd the kit to Corsair, so we'll see how that goes.

Other Thoughts: FWIW, I typically buy relatively high-end Corsair memory and have not had an issue until this purchase. 14 years of building/TSR PCs.

Rating + 5 Heat sinks with chips attached

Pros: I was shocked at how big these things are. Somewhere under the heat sinks, I suspect there's a chip somewhere... Depending on the size of your mobo and the cards you're putting on it, you may struggle to fit these in there.

Cons: It's gonna be quite some time before I can load enough stuff into memory to fill these bad boys up.

Other Thoughts: If you want 4GB of RAM, get this, not the 2 sets of 2GB (4 sticks of 1GB each). You'll thank yourself in a year or two when it's cheap to double the memory in the two open slots. An extra $30 now to keep two open slots will make you happy down the road.

Rating + 5 Awesome!

Pros: Works right out of the box and has been for 6 months. Sticks with pretty much any settings it was set too.

Cons: Could cost lest, but hey...

Other Thoughts: Clocked it to 7-7-7-18 @1700, 2:1 linked, synced and loaded with CPU. $600 pair of memory stick right there baby, would like to get another pair, but don't really have the need for them right now. For fun and play set it to 5-5-5-12 @ 1333 and watch the numbers fly WEEEEE.... ^_^

Rating + 5 Excellent RAM

Pros: Corsair. Yes, timings aren't as tight as other, but this stuff has always passed mamtest right out of the box...100% of the time. Tighter timings are less and less important in DDR3 systems.

Cons: None, even the price has come down!

Rating + 3 Blue Screen @ 1600

Pros: It looks like it could be fast?

Cons: Can't get the memory to run at the specs Corsair claims. As soon as I manually set the memory to advertised speed of 1600 and set the timings to 9-9-9-24 (1.8v), the system blue screens or the motherboard won't post due to the memory being overclocked. Wrote an email to Corsair about a week ago and no response. I'm using this memory in an Asus Rampage Extreme.

Other Thoughts: I can set the memory to 1333 and the system will only wig out once in a while. If I want to keep it real stable, I set the MB to "Auto" and it detects the memory's speed as 1066, but with faster timings than advertised.

I spent a lot of money on the rig I just built, but I guess I cheaped out by spending what I did on the memory...
