Works Awesome
Pros: Works perfectly in a Canon S2 IS and my daughter`s Canon A530.Can be swapped back & forth between the two with no re-formatting, and no compatibility problems whatsoever. Have not had any trouble at all with the "lock" switch, as some others have alluded to.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: I take tons of videos with the S2 IS, and have encountered SD cards that are too slow for this camera. The Transcend has never once run up against the buffer, and will breeze to the end of a video without the camera shutting down. Excellent card.

great deal
Pros: FAST
Cons: none so far
Other Thoughts: Bought it for my SD200 because it takes videos in .avi format so it is about 1meg for each second of video and Kingston card was not fast enough to store this. Transcend was cheap and I was worried that it might not be that great, but it works perfectly. I can finally take continuous video instead of just 15-20 seconds at a time.

Works Great in the Pentax DSLR
Pros: The subject says it all. The card has worked flawlessly in my istDS, and sped things up nicely compared to the firts card I bought. It worked so well that several others on the Pentax mailing list bought this and the 2GB card, and we've all been very happy with the results.
Cons: None thus far.

Excellent at Any Price
Pros: Very fast, totally reliable, great price.
Cons: Industry-standard impenetrable outer packaging.
Other Thoughts: Pictures downloaded from my Canon A630 so fast I had to check to be sure I hadn't shot low-res!

Good for the money
Pros: Price. It's not slow. Good quality encasing.
Cons: It's not that fast either.
Other Thoughts: I've been using this in my Palm Tungsten E2 for a few months now and it works fine. Could be a little faster but not a bad deal for the price.

Pros: I like this card....actually have several 1GB, and use in a TZ1 and an FZ30 by Panasonic. Has been totally reliable for over 20,000 fine JPG images. Highly redcommended at 80X for Panasonic cameras. Use higher speed and you may be asking for trouble, especially writing TIFF

Doesn't work in my Panesonic TZ-1 camera
Pros: fast, inexpensive
Cons: Doesn't work in my Panesonic TZ-1 camera. Random pictures are corrupted, video will work for only a few seconds. Other cards such as the 1G patriot SD card are fine.
Other Thoughts: Be leary of using this card in a camera.

Very Nice Card
Pros: Transcend makes great products. I have never been disappointed with this company's quality. This is a very good card for my wife's Nikon D-50.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: Newegg's prices on flash cards are just plain outstanding. Service is great too.

Very nice
Pros: Incredibly tiny!
Cons: None so far
Other Thoughts: Even though this is new, Newegg's price was perfect to get me to upgrade without waiting for more price drops! Works perfectly the Garmin Streetpilot i3 I got 6 months ago with 128MB and now allows me to load the entire DVD of map data at once.

Transcend 1 GB
Pros: It worked well from the moment we put it in the camera. In the past 2 months we have taken about 500 pictures and about 10 minutes of video. Our Canon A620 recognized it immediately and we are very happy with it. Great price - lots of space
Cons: so far so good

Very disappointing when used with SLR
Pros: Fast download to computer.
Cons: Very slow in writing to card when using with Pentax *ist DL Digital SLR camera. Took almost 2 minutes for full buffer to clear which limits to only 5 shots taken at a time every two minutes!
Other Thoughts: I guess not compatible with Pentax D-SLR cameras.

Pros: Straight out of the box into my Canon S2. The camera recognised it straight away. No problems with 30fps video and high speed picture taking. Cannot beat this offer for price and performance.
Cons: None so far but early days yet. I will post any problems later if I get any.
Other Thoughts: First time buying from Newegg. Fantastic service. Package was dispatched on the same day! Arrived exactly 3 business days later. Will buy from this site again no worries.

Great for the money
Pros: * PRICE !! * Reliable * Does what is says * Has been perfect in my Palm Tunsten T3
Cons: * Is certainly fast enough, but not as fast as my A-DATA card.
Other Thoughts: The days of a Newegg package coming earlier than expected are gone since they moved to UPS. Most of my orders come 1 ro 3 days later than expected.

GREAT for a610
Pros: Just what it says, 1GB, i didn't notice improvement with shooting speed compared to the card that came with the canon a610, so maybe 80X isn't necessary, but regardless it will hold about 700 5mp pics with normal compression

very fast indeed
Pros: This card lives up to it's claims. I copied a large video file back and forth between this card and a computer and found that the read speed is about 17.8MB/s and write speed about 11MB/s.
Cons: none!
Other Thoughts: This 80X card is more than twice as fast as my 50X A-DATA SD card, which can only mean that A-DATA inflated their specs.

Cons: None noted so far

Reply to "Not Happy"
Pros: Very fast writes. Great for 640x480 30fps video, or very fast digital cameras.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: The guy that wrote the "Not Happy" review. I had choppy video also, but then the guys on DP Review told me to copy it to my hard drive and then play it. Turns out my card reader was slow. The card is awesome and records video on a Canon A610 just fine! Your video recording isn't choppy, your video playback is!

Great for Canon A610
Pros: This card transfers data much faster than the card (unspecified speed) it replaces. My Canon A610 couldn't record more than 18 sec of video on the old card before stopping prematurely with the "Busy" indicator. With the Transcend card, it can record until it runs out of memory. Photos transfer to the computer much faster as well.
Cons: None.

Great use w/ iPaq
Pros: Incredible lightning fast card. Works great with my hx2410 iPaq and directly in SD slot in my HP nc6000 notebook pc.
Cons: Typical (electronic type) plastic outer packing wrap is a bear to cut through.
Other Thoughts: Great deal with $10 rebate. Thanks to the newegg RSS Feed I found out about this sale.

Fantastic card for the price
Pros: Purchased this to go in my Canon Powershot A610 camera. Works fantastic. The card is fast enough to be able to be used to store digital movies as well. I have had absolutely no problems with this card. In one week I took nearly 1200 photos, and copied/deleted from the card multiple times without a hiccup.
Cons: None. It works, and it works well.
Other Thoughts: The price of SD cards seems to be dropping, and this particular card was (when I purchased it) a bit cheaper than many others, but by no means any less functional. If you're considering getting this for your digicam, go no farther.

Good with Canon SD550
Pros: Cheap, fast and reliable. Had this for over a couple of weeks and is working great with my Canon SD550. It takes pics faster and access them faster as well
Cons: None so far
Other Thoughts: Only tested the memory on my camera and don't know how it will work with other equipment. My laptop reader has no trouble accessing the info either.

Get the CARD!
Pros: Wonderful Speeds, tons of room, and you can't bet the price! I got this when it was on sale, and have not regreted it. I threw it in my 8.0 MP Camera and took 1.5 hours of streaming video with no lag, no corruption of any kind! I normally don't use the camera for video, although it was a great test of the card.
Cons: Not having the card?
Other Thoughts: If you use SD cards get a card with high transfer speeds. You'll never go back!

This small thing is FAST!!!
Pros: Very Fast, Reasonable price.
Cons: NONE
Other Thoughts: You might wonder what '80x' speed can do. It makes all the differnce on my mpeg4 camcorder. I usually have to wait 5-10 sec. between clips recording on regular SD, now it takes less than half a second, extremely amazing!!! Can't imagine what '150x' would be like but this tiny card completely satisfy me as it is.

Works with Nikon D50
Pros: This SD card is compatible with the Nikon SLR D50 SD card slot. Using this SD card, I can take snapshot as fast as the Ultra II SANDisk SD card.
Cons: I do not know how long that this card will last. I cannot find any good or bad review.

Better than usual card.
Pros: Good Speed/Price ratio
Cons: Its a SD card, and it works, no cons there...
Other Thoughts: It is faster than the usual cards, like those from Sandisk and RiData that I looked at, and with the $10 rebate, it is cheaper. It has a 5 year warranty which is plenty, because by the time 5 years passes by SD cards will be old tech anyways...

Nice and fast with lots of room!
Pros: Since I'm using it for a fast camera I don't care about the 80X rating. I want fast write speed. This card works fine and fast in a Canon a610 that can do 2.4 shots a second. On Sandra it gives a 9MB/sec write speed on the 2MB file test. On my built in laptop card reader only 5MB/s On the cheapo KingMax SD reader I bought here it's fast. 700+ 5MP shots, 1025 3.2MP shots, I'm happy..:)
Cons: None at all. I wish I'd have gotten a 2GB card, but anything over 1GB is hard to find a compatible card reader.
Other Thoughts: 700 fast shots on my 5.2MP camera, very compatible. The A-Data and Transcend 150x cards write at 15-20MB/s which is twice as fast as this, but there's a huge compatibility issue. I'll wait 6 months to get a faster 2GB. This has plenty of room to last till then. And by then the 2GB cards will be cheap...:)

Better than other popular brands
Pros: I purchased this card with a digital camera kit. I have a digital SLR and use burst shooting a lot. The camera has a cache but when it fills, I'm left up to the speed of the card. This card out performs every other card I have. I have never lost any pictures and it has worked with every card reader I've tried it in.
The price is great and the card is outstanding!
The five-year warranty is good too.
Cons: None I have experienced.
Other Thoughts: Great card for a great price!

Fast Card/Fast Service
Pros: Had for 30-minutes - Noticible faster speed in writing and reading than standard 16MB SD card that came with my Pany FZ5; NewEgg fast on shipping reader; Card shipped separately arrived right on 3-Day schedule
Cons: none observed, thus far (hey, its only been thirty minutes!)
Other Thoughts: So far; extremely satisfied with both New Egg and the card...

Good speed, but...
Comments: Would get a 5 star review if the lock slide switch wasn't so loose. I end up bumping the lock switch engaging the lock when inserting and removing card from camera and card reader. Currently using a bit of tape to keep lock from engaging. Good speed though and no other problems.

Great
Comments: I've had it for about 2 months now, and no problems. It's slightly difficult to pull it out of the slot from my Zire, but I guess with 1GB of music etc, you never really need to remove it in the first place! The speed is great compared to others. As usual newegg/fedex got it here verrry fast.

Great MEM for new-to-digital User
Comments: I just purchased my first DigiCam, a Samsung Digimax A6/A63. This memory is fast! At 1600x1200 I can take over 950 shots at Super Fine resolution. @2816x2112, I can snap 298 pics at S.Fine res. Fast transfer rate meants not a lot of waiting, when copying pics and .avi's w/sound to my pc via the usb2 interface. For the price, you can't beat it. Less that half what you would pay at a brick and mortar store.

wow, that's fast
Comments: I just got it, so I can't speak towards long term reliability or durability. That being said wow this is really fast memory. I'm running a 5MP Konica Dimage Z5, my tes is simple, sit in a single spot and point toward a corner in the wall, focus the camera and leave the button half depressed. rotate nice and slowly, snap the picture when the corner is exactly in the middle of the shot in the crosshairs in the screen. With the 16mb SD card that came with the camera the corner was halfway between the middle and the edge. With this card it clearly showed that I had jumped the gun by a half a degree and the edge was a hair on the other side of the middle.
Shutter lag bye bye

Works great with canon SD200
Comments: I just bought a canon SD200 and I bought this card to go with it. I have been using it about a month now and it seems to work great. I dont have a slower card to campare to, but the speed seems pretty fast. Great value for the cost. PS Newegg Rocks!! (why even bother, we all know they rock by now)

Fast but flakey
Comments: I got this for my Palm Tungsten 3. When I put it into the PDA, The little lock switch always locks. (I might try a tiny piece of tape.) If I'm careful, I can use it in my card reader without the switch moving to the locked position. The write speed from my desktop to the card does seem fast. 1st generation USB card reader took about 45 seconds to write 20MB onto the card. Since I can only use it as a read only card in my Palm, and it feels significantly flimsier than my old 256MB, I can't really recommend this card.

Comments: I just received this 1 Gig SD card. It works fine in the Canon Powershot S2 IS camera and I can transfer pictures from the camera to the computer. However, it cannot be read by my 7 in 1 card reader in my computer. This is very inconvenient. Of course, Transcend tech blames the card reader for the incompatibitity. They say that newer flash medias use different data transfer procedure to accelerate. The internal card reader is fairly new (In Win CR-I500). You might want check into this before you buy this card.

very fast upgrade
Comments: I just got one for my Kodak Z740 and I've noticed a definite speed improvement over the stock 64MB Kodak-branded card.
The most improvement would be reviewing and deleting. Writing performance is slightly better but that's probably because of the camera's small buffer.
Hey, this card gives me a total capacity of over 630 photos at the highest resolution so at $45 after rebate I'll take it any day!
Highly recommended. Shipping was fast as usual.
