Pros: It works

Cons: Newegg charged me $50 shipping for around 40 of these. Why would they charge me $50 for shipping one box?

Other Thoughts: I called them and asked them to lower it and they gave me about $5 discount. wow. They wouldn't even take my UPS account to ship it with. Oh well, still a great price.

Pros: Works great with my Canon A540. I've used the card for shooting small videos and for about 100+ pics, and so far so good.

Cons: When I use burst mode shooting, the write speed seems slow. When I review the pics on camera, the read speed seems slow also. I don't know what is the actual read/write speeds but it seems slower compared to my old Ridata 66x SD 512mb.

Other Thoughts: I hope this card is just as reliable as my old Ridata card.

Pros: Good Name for Memory cards, Fast communication with my PPC.

Pros: Seems fast. Nice price point without feeling like you have too little memory. Holds about 15 minutes of vid at high quality on my cam.

Cons: -- not a con, unsure if speed is the camera or the card. New cam, new card = unable to speak on the speed individually since I've never used it on anything else.

Other Thoughts: Have the Canon PowerShot 600.

Pros: Large storage; well at least at the beginning.

Cons: After about 2 days of using the memory card my digital camera said "Error reading memory. Press ok to format the memory unit." After hours of trying to retrieve my photos I pressed ok. Then it said "The memory unit cannot be formated. Press ok to use internal memory." So then I took at the card and put a different one in, and it works great. So do not buy this card unless you're an idiot. Also for this price something like a 512MB card wouldn't break, so cheapest is never good.

Other Thoughts: A total ripoff. Waiting for RMA to refund money.

Pros: I have owned 7 different Digital cameras. This one as most all Canon cameras are great. I believe that Canon has the best autofocus on the market right now, which is what you want most in a small point and shoot camera. Newegg forgot to ship my 1 gig card, no problem, I instant messaged with a customer assistant, and got it in 3 days.

Cons: You do need to be gentle with the doors.

Other Thoughts: I have been buying from Newegg for several years, and I can set my watch by their delivery times. Very good customer service, which as we know is really rare.

Cons: Blah! BLAH I SAY!!! It work well enough for about 20 days, and then this morning BAM! it was totally corrupted and useless. I tried 3 different devices to format the thing, and none of them could do anything for it.

Other Thoughts: I wish I could say that it was probably just a fluke, but the other reviewer seem to agree with my assesment for the most part. I'm going to give it another try and have it replaced, but only because I have a 256 mb pny card that has worked fine for over a year.

Pros: Hey it works with the Palm! I could have ordered a less expensive SD card but this was guranteed to work by PNY. It does! I tried several faster cards (66x 133x etc.) and they were not recognized by the Palm Tungsten E2.

Cons: It is a little slow. But then again is it the card or the palm that is slow? When playing back video it seems to skip some frames here and there.

Other Thoughts: When playing video from the Palm internal memory it also skips frames. So it is likely the Palm not the SD card that is causing slowness. Takes a while to HotSync large amounts of data, again likely due to the palm.

Writing directly to the SD card when inserted into a reader (on my laptop) is very fast.

Pros: I received this product a while back (a few months ago) and it works wonderfully. It has quick access time and plays music and high quality video just fine. I use it in my pocketpc.

Cons: -Very- rarely during music it will pause for a short second and then resume playing where it left off. But -very- rarely!

Pros: Fast file transfer speed. Costs less than half of what most retail outlets have this exact SD at, and that includes shipping. Neweggs fast shipping.

Cons: None to be found.

Other Thoughts: Using this in a Dell Axim X5 to store podcasts, maps for streets & trips 2006, service time/rate tax and other spreadsheets. Transfer files using a SD reader (fastest for large files) or sync cradle.
Purchased when it was on sale, but at it's current price it's still a deal too good to pass up.

Pros: Great card. Alot tinier then I thought it would be (VERY tiny, about the size of my thumb nail)

It writes FAST... no problems with the speed of it at all...

I can hold over 700 pictures on this thing and about 32 minutes of video... Simply awesome.

Cons: it dropped 10 dollars in price a month after I bought it lol

Pros: Amazing storage capacity. I am using it with my Viewsonic V35 PDA for storing Pharos GPS map files. Working flawlessly.

Rating + 2 Memory Card Error


Pros: 1 gb, it was about $xx after rebate, don't know if I got the rebate yet. It seems to work fine most of the time.

Cons: I get a Memory Card error at times. Doesn't seem consitant, it will work fine for a while, then it won't work at all. It may be temprature related. I went skiing and it worked in the lodge before we went out, but then at the top it gave the error again. Who knows, I will contact their support.

Pros: Ultra-high capacity; super-fast transfers; brand name your can completely trust (PNY); and best of all....really cheap!

Cons: None. GREAT product!

Other Thoughts: If you're into digital cameras and need a brand, price, and capacity you can live with....this is it! No doubt in my mind that this flash memory will make your day (and your wallet). You get double the reliability at half the price compared to other places.

Pros: Great price, works well.

Cons: I had to reformat the card a couple of times before it would fully work - initially I would get an error saying the disk was full when it was only about 50% full. After reinstalls it worked great - I've had to do this with other SD cards before so it's not just this product.

Pros: This was extreamly cheap, even without the rebate, which i just put in the mail yesterday. this i just SD memory, cheap memory at that you cant expect too much, for what it is, its a great deal

Cons: the only con would be that its a little slower than higher end SD cards. but with the large price difference and being in college i find that waiting that extra 30 seconds really isnt so bad...

Other Thoughts: its the best deal i have found for SD memory, would suggest it to a friend. Shipping was on time.

Pros: Once made to fit in the camera, no problems. Large capacity and recognized by my computer just fine. Price after rebate was excellent.

Cons: Did not fit. This Toshiba product had a PNY sticker on it. The molded plastic cartrige did not have a recessed place for the sticker. The sticker stuck out and made it difficult to insert in my Konica-Minolta Dimage X1 camera memory slot. I had to peel the sticker off and rub away remaining adhesive. Now works fine.

Pros: The price is very affordable, this card definitely beats the others in the same price range. The responsiveness of the card is pretty consistent.

Cons: Transfer rate decreases drastically when copying large files ( >30MB).
