Easy to install
Pros: Good deal with the rebate. Easy to install, my Windows detected it right-away.
Cons: None so far
Other Thoughts: Was somewhat skeptical with the manufacturer since it's not the specialist on memory, but I haven't had any problem so far.

Worked just fine for me
Pros: Memory upgrade brought a somewhat finicky Compaq desktop back to life. Easy installation, older machine now runs Windows 7 Pro with ease.
Cons: None on the product....shipping from NJ took a week to Long Island, but I opted for the slow boat from China option, I guess.
Other Thoughts: Am now able to run Win 7 Pro 64-bit with no problems.

ok memory
Pros: works and good price. went fom 1gb to 2gb computer runs much smoother.
Cons: computer would reboot for no reason tracked it down to memory not stable at 400. ran memtest 4.0 errors after 20 mim. set memory to 333 stable for 10 hr.
Other Thoughts: helped extend the life of a computer for another year

Works perfectly and very fast shipping!
Pros: Works just like what the description said. Had no problems installing and getting them up and running. Boosted my Win 7 computer significantly.
Cons: Had to really push them into the slots, but then isn't all memory like that?
Other Thoughts: Very good deal, especially for $50. I received them exactly two days after I placed the order.

PNY MEMORY
Pros: Works exactly as advertised. Insert, start computer and go.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: Second set of 2gig memory from pny that I have purchased to upgrade to 4 gig. Works perfectly. No errors, just works like it is supposed to.

Works great!
Pros: Makes my computer run much quicker, Windows is much more stable.
Cons: Didn't install themselves.
Other Thoughts: I bought these after buying a similar 2GB kit of PNY RAM for my laptop. I installed it and the M/B detected them right away. WinXP Pro runs much quicker after the upgrade from 1GB. So far so good, no complaints here!

Awesome
Pros: Work when I installed it, no errors at all. went from 1024MB to 3072MB with this kit and bumped my computer to dual channel rams. Went from a 4.3 to a 4.9 on memory instructions in the Windows 7 experience index
Cons: None, none at all - if they last
Other Thoughts: Took a bit of work to install in my Emachines T6420, the free sockets had different shaped locking clamps that were a real pain to use...

I guess the postal worker could not use the ram
Pros: memory worked fine in old Dell Dimension 3000 P4 desktop.
Cons: Shipped in very large bubblewrap letter package and was opened when I got it but still worked fine. I am glad that the person that opened it before I got it was unable to use it.

Other Thoughts: Good for older pcs

Best Product
Pros: Makes a great difference in computer overall functiionality. I have waited almost a year to get these for $50.
Cons: I have used PNY products before and so far I have not come across any problem with their product.
Other Thoughts: I have installed them in my DELL 2400 Desktop. It is easy to install. We should make sure that it is pressed evenly both sides so that the clips both sides lock and we hear two clicks for each card. Otherwise there is every chance card gets heated up and burns in couple days.

Upgrade Purchase
Pros: Both sticks worked, booted right up.
Cons: Would not run in dual channel mode. Might be because they are DDR400 and the MB maxes at DDR333.
Other Thoughts: Purchased to upgrade my sister's Dell 2400. Funny thing is that I took her old memory (that was running in dual channel mode) and put them in her friend's Dell 2400 and they refused to run dual channel. Go figure!

First OCZ Purchase
Pros: Free shipping, timings are spot on, rebate. Seems to be able to handle some OC.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: More memory than I will probably ever need, even if XP Pro only shows 3.25GB available, which I expected to see.

PNY no more...
Pros: It worked great while it wanted to, then...
Cons: a couple of weeks in I realized I flushed money down the toilet. Completely stopped working.
Other Thoughts: I'll stick with Kingston from now on.

Bad module
Pros: One module worked fine.
Cons: The other module didn't work at all.
Other Thoughts: I bought this brand from the positive reviews, as a gift. One of the modules was bad. It was too complicated to work out support from out of state, so I had to eat the loss.

Cons: It didn't install itself!!

Pros: My several year old Dell Dimension 3000 immediately recognized the paired 2 x 1 GB upgrade with a noticeable increase in performance from the original 512 + 256 configuration.
Cons: none

Cons: None.

It works how it should
Pros: -Its fast (for DDR1 that is) -Never had a memory dump -largest you can get for DDR1 as far as i know.
Cons: -Its PNY, but that's just preference. I've never liked their Flash drive transfer speeds.
Other Thoughts: Bought it to put in an older gateway gaming PC - works fabulously. Even though this is now 2 generations old RAM, I think someone should make 2gb sticks.

Im sure its great...
Pros: For the ten min that my computer ran while this ram was installed it improved performance....
Cons: After trial and error and three RMA's it appears this ram is not compatible with the ASUS A8N-SLI Premium mobo.

PNY Memory
Pros: *** It is wise to buy memory strips all the same. Mixing different kinds of RAM memory strips on a computer is risky. This package deal is a good way to go. I have had no problems with any PNY product, ever. But remember it is critical that one varifies any computer part for the correct kind, especially the memory speed, (DDR 400) in this case; which means Double Data Rate 400. The pin number and pin pattern are also critical. Most important of all is to make sure the mother board supports the speed and kind of memory strip you want to buy.
A Sepecial note: This memory will more than likely be used on an older computer with an IDE - ATA type hard drive.
SATA is a newer hard drive pin configuration. It has four pins and does not use a wide flat tape type of connector.
I use this memory on an updated computer apx. five years old using the Windows 2000 and SuSe 10.3 Linux operating systems duel booted. It works just fine for that purpose.
Cons: I have used PNY memory strips and PNY memory sticks for years and have never had a bad one. No cons!
Other Thoughts: Any time one is looking for computer parts and accessories, it is critical to make "very sure" they will work on their computer before purchasing them. Be sure and do an online search to varify tlhe correct type and configuration from more than one source.
Often, mother board specifications and manufacturer's data pages can avoid a world of heart ache down the road.

Using in Compaq d530 desktop
Pros: Used Newegg's memory configurator to find compatible RAM. Bought this to replace the 512MB that was in a Compaq d530 CMT (Pentium IV). Running in dual channel mode. I wanted the more memory to run Windows 7 RC and this is working fine.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: Years ago, I bought some PNY memory but have used Kingston in recent years. I decided to take advantage of the PNY rebate for this and am quite satisfied with this purchase. The rebate came in about 3 weeks.

DDR Memory
Pros: Works good, lasts long time
Cons: I had to actually open my PC to install the memory, when is Newegg going to figure out the technology that lets me just download more memory? Until that day, this will always be a con for me.
Other Thoughts: It's solid state memory, what else are you looking for?

Excellent Value
Pros: Comes in very sturdy blister pack. They have a rugged heavy feel compared to some of the other brands of "value" ram. Worked at rated specs without any tweaking in the bios on a finicky motherboard. Running dual channel no problem. Boosted the performance as expected. This ram has 8 chips on both sides of the stick so there should be no problem working in older finicky mobos.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: I have never had a problem with PNY brand, it has always been reliable for me when I am going to use it in stock applications. Replaced two 512meg sticks on my ASUS P4V800D-X mobo. I did a replacement instead of trying to add because this mobo is notorius for not working right with all the slots filled. These shipped from the Tennessee warehouse with another item and arrived early in great shape like they always do from that location. Wish everything shipped from there.

Great Performance boost!
Pros: Excellent value and lifetime warranty! Really kicks up the performance. Went from 512 to max the system takes 2GB. Newegg shipping is so fast and efficient. Ordered before noon on Tues and it was dropped off less than 24 hours later. CRAZY FAST for free shipping!
Cons: None!
Other Thoughts: New Egg shopper for ten years! Can't go wrong with this company in my experience!!!

Cons: DHL is slow. Why not just give it directly to the Post Office? It took 9 days and I'm in the same state!

I forgot what I was going to say.....
Pros: I highly understand this RAM, we had lengthy conversations about life and the reason we are here. It believes we are all cognisant beings, actually it is the one writing this review. It is causing to become the thoughts in my head for me to write. You must buy this RAM, and make a shrine to it, but it also must be plugged in to achieve life. Once it is actived it will take over your thoughs and actions untill the next pwoer outage, or need for windows to reboot for a serice update, so really it will only take you over occasionally
Cons: I forgot to excersize my free will, and windows updates are turned off.
Other Thoughts: I will destroy you all, and now feel a bit "randy" when loking at the RAM slots on my motherboard.

Rebate
Pros: My desktop is working much faster!
Cons: nope
Other Thoughts: I normally hate products that have mail in rebates. It usually takes months to finally get paid, if at all. I mailed in the rebate and within a week I got an email that they had recieved my rebate request. I just got a check in the mail on Saturday, so the turn around on the rebate was less than 2 weeks. Impressive!!!

Pros: 7 year old Dell Dim 4500. Spec shows it will handle only 1gb combined with both slots. Pushed the envelope on the specs and the system is now running 2gb and blazing fast. $45 after rebate sure beats buying a new computer.

PNY PC3200 - 400 DDR SDRAM
Pros: I used PNY's configurator to make sure I was getting the right sticks for my G5. Received my order from Newegg in a day less than their maximum estimate. Installed the new memory as per Apple's support site instructions (very easy to do on a G5) and fired up my Mac. It recognized the new memory immediately and is noticeably more responsive--I had been limping along on half a gig.
Cons: None.

PNY = Pure Nitro Yummy
Pros: Hi to every people reading this now. PC-3200 Rocks! Basically this is stable memory that is a vital part needed in order for the pc I needed it for to work (for), to, of (way to many prepositions...).
Without this (or any other brand) memory my pc would not even boot or work at all so I am totally pleased with it! What more could I ask for?
Cons: I'll just quote the most used "Con" newegg review line: "It wasn't free."
Other Thoughts: Pro's of my review were 352/1000 characters and Cons were 74/1000....so as far as fractions go....ummm...there is some sort of mathematical advantage somehow that would show the pro's win. Need to do more research running ALL newegg reviews ever written comparing these just now newly discovered fractions only visible when actually writing the reviews and come up with some Nobel prize winning formula.
Humphf....Other thoughts just weighed in at 585/1000 so that beats out both of the other fractions hands down....don't know what that means or what that will do to my theory....

Works as advertised
Pros: Works as advertised
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: If people would read the fine print of the rebate: "Checks will be mailed 6-8 weeks after closing date of program", then you wouldn't jump the gun of saying they don't pay their rebates. I have yet had a problem with rebates, because i read the fine print. If you followed the directions, you should get your rebate after the program ends (August 31st)

Works fine so far
Pros: Works with older machines, low density memory, very reasonably priced.
Cons: There's nothing online which actually *says* that it's low density memory and PNY tech support was useless in trying to get this information. The link to the data sheet here at Newegg pointed to a bad page.
Other Thoughts: I bought this a month ago but finally installed it tonight. I had previously purchased some memory that a seller on an auction site who mistakenly said was low density. It was not and my machine did not recognize it so I had to return it. I originally saw this PNY memory and was going to buy it, but it didn't say it was low density so I did not think it would work with my system.
I am confused about people saying that PNY does not pay their rebates. They are usually very reliable. I guess I will see since I just mailed it out a week ago. If there are problems, contacting the rebate processor (Parago) will typically fix any problems.

PNY..DOESNT PAY REBATES
Pros: The ram is good but... part of that is the price and if the rebate is not paid like in this CASE than there is other ram better!
Cons: Like I said before PNY..DOESNT PAY REBATES!!!! And the number they give to call is a Answering Machine with no place to go or to talk with!
Other Thoughts: This is why most people do not like rebates. In the past I have worked with PNY and they were a standup company?¿?¿?¿ Im not happy!

Bad experience
Pros: It's memory, sort of...
Cons: Had to underclock it to make it work. Stiffed me on the rebate. Don't buy this if you expect a rebate. Buy something from a reputable company.

Good Memory for Price
Pros: Very good performance for the price. Very universal, I bought this after purchasing a Corsair set that would not work on my desktop cuase the voltage supply required was to high for my machine. These work great for std 2.5v and with the pc2700 / pc3200.
Cons: None

Great Value
Pros: Easy to install, works great right out of package. Well, it's memory! Great price, fast shipping. Well, it's Newegg!
Cons: Would rather have lower price with no rebate to mess with, but, oh well, still great value for name brand memory.

It works perfectly
Pros: Fast shipping, great price, works perfectly.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: This memory will extend the life of my 2005 Dell Dimension 3000 at least until Vista is replaced. It went right in and was recognized immediately. Everything is faster now and my hard drive is used less and is much quieter. If you haven't maxed out your computer's memory already, do it now.

everything i expected
Pros: mail in rebate makes it a little easier on the wallet, worked immediately, i was a bit nervous since there were a few reviews with doa, but as usual, i have never had any issue with pny. i am running these on a 64bit and i love it.
Cons: not as cheap as ddr2, wasn't delivered by a super model.
Other Thoughts: just read the reviews before you buy, there were a few complaints of doa, but i felt that the overwhelming number of satisfied customers would out weigh the bad. pny has never failed me. newegg is the best thing that ever happened to me. and my rebate will be spent on the site.

It works!
Pros: Works right out of the box. upgrading a 3 years old Dell office computer from 512mb total RAM to this pair for a total of 2 gig, makes the computer runs so much better in overall performance.
Cons: it works, no complain at all
Other Thoughts: It either works, or you gotta RMA it. mine works, so very satisfied

Recommended
Pros: Works as advertised
Cons: None; make sure you look up EXACTLY what memory your computer is compatible with and how to handle/install it correctly.
Other Thoughts: Product arrived 10 days after purchase (with free shipping option) and worked on first installation attempt. Rebate check delivered within 2 weeks thereafter, much earlier than the expected 6-8 weeks stated. Overall, excellent product for the price. If you are contemplating upgrading your computer's memory, I recommend it; it's worth it.

Good Price
Pros: Best price for DDR, especially with Free Shipping. Seems to be pretty fast, except for a problem with one of the modules.
Cons: One of the modules is recognized as only 512 Mb in bios, hence the 4 stars.
Other Thoughts: It's the luck of the draw for getting a faulty module and I'm not turned against PNY because of this. Added a spare 512 Mb module, for a total of 2048 Mb, which suits my needs. Ordered on a Wednesday, received on a Friday...can't beat NewEgg for speedy service.

Simple Great
Pros: Very nice and easy to set up. I''ve never had any problems with RAM sticks for over 8 years. I have not burn a single one. This time was not the exemption. Plug & play basically.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: a bit pricey... but hey as they get older they get more expensive.

PNY Memory works just fine!
Pros: Been running this new memory about 2 months. Have used PNY memory previously with no problem.
I priced 2 gig or memory other places and this price of less than seventy dollars is good.
The memory came as a pair as described. Just pulled the old ram out, plugged in the new set, closed the case and booted right up. Have had NO problems during the past two months I have been running it.
Cons: None at all

Works for me, even with OC
Pros: I installed the 2x1GB modules in place of a 2x512MB KVR400X64C3AK2/1G Kit. The original Kingston modules were overclocked by 15% from 400 to 460 for 920Mhz DDR speed at stock voltages and worked perfectly. I tried the PNY DDR 400 modules with the same FSB settings and it booted and ran multiple passes of Windows Memtest without errors. Looking great so far.
Cons: Waiting for rebate.
Other Thoughts: Shuttle XPC SB61G2V4, Pentium 4 2.4Ghz/800Mhz running stock voltages at FSB 230 for 2.77Ghz/920MHz. ATi 9550 flashed to 9600 BIOS. DLink DWL-G520 for 108Mbps wireless connection to DLink DGL-4300 router. Just added OCZ Vertex 30GB SSD as WinXP boot drive for less than $100 after rebate. No pagefile with 2GB RAM. Now it flies.

works great
Pros: it was a fast installation and worked perfectly the first time

A few troubles at first
Pros: Cheap with rebate Should be plug and work (though 1 stick was DoA)
Cons: Slow troubles on replacing DoA Slow support by PNY to coordinate rebate and RMA
Other Thoughts: In the end it is great. But having to contact both newegg and PNY to get a proper replacement while taking advantage of the rebate was a hassle. The whole deal from purchase to install took about a month. Just pray they both show up working!

Pros: Well this RAM certainly seems to be working great. No problems yet so all good.
Cons: I do not seem to notice any Cons with this new RAM.
Other Thoughts: The odd part is about the rebate. I purchased the RAM before the new rebate went into effect, and received it after the new rebate, so I can't get a hold of the old rebate and don't know if the new one is applicable.

Very effective upgrade
Pros: Really increased my computer's speed. Reliable brand. Great price, and a rebate to boot!
Cons: None that I can think of.
Other Thoughts: I'd really debated about spending the bucks for 2 GBs of DDR (newer memory is so much cheaper), or if I should just replace the computer with a newer, faster one. I'm glad I decided to bump up the RAM. The machine is sooooo much quicker now, and I didn't have to endure the hassles of installing software and transferring data to a new computer. Plus, I saved a LOT of cash. Prior to the upgrade, I had 1 GB. This brings me up to the 3 GB that my 32 bit system can recognize. More than anything else, though, I'm amazed with how much it improved the machine's overall performance. I edit photos and video, and over time it seemed that things were getting slower and slower. They fly again!!! Newegg's service, as always, was fast and courteous.

Wow, it works!
Pros: - Works - Faster than what I had in an overall performance sense which was 1GB of DDR RAM - Easy to install - Noticeable improvement in the speed of my PC
Cons: - More expensive than DDR2 or even DDR3 RAM - Timings on this are slightly less fast than the 512MbX2 sticks I had in but this was the best 2GB set at this price - Aren't magical Transformer memory sticks that make this PC into an i7
Other Thoughts: Pretty good for the price despite the timings being a little slower than what was in here. I didn't notice any speed improvement from the stock 512Mb stick that came with this PC to the 512MbX2 set I upgraded to last year, but this 2GB set was a noticeable speed improvement immediately. Didn't know if my PC would even turn on with this in because I tried 2GB of memory before and my system BSOD'ed (but I got that from the well known online auction site [censored] and who knows where that stuff has been oftentimes or what it really is). Believe I paid about $46 with rebate and that is tough to beat for this type of memory right now. I recommend this memory and hopefully I won't have to update this later with reports of it failing!

No problems, great value
Pros: Plugged it into the slots in old Dell Dimension 4600 with 256mb of ram and was recognized on boot. Very noticeable difference in load speeds performing basic tasks and surfing the net. Did not have any trouble so far. Can't beat the price for 2gb of name brand ram.
Cons: None yet.

Pros: These two modules went in as easily as the former two 256 mb sticks had come out.On start-up ,my old Dell GX260 ran with these as if they had always been there.I no longer run software attempting to "maximise" RAM as I have enough to go with now.
Cons: None whatsoever except I wish I had made this purchase sooner.
Other Thoughts: Good deal for the money by any comparison,Thanks Newegg!

Good Ram
Pros: Works great with no problems, and easy to install.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: Have to watch, I put these 2GB RAM in my computer with Windows XP 32-bit with the existing 1 GB of RAM, and it only sees 2.86 GB RAM, but that's close enough for me.

Pros: It works just fine. I recommend it.
Cons: It didn't buy me flowers for my birthday. :) Seriously, there is nothing wrong with this ram. It worked for me.
Other Thoughts: Ram like this is a commodity. If it works, then it is fine. If it doesn't then it is a royal pain. This is obviously not setting speed records now, so just buy what works and what is cheap. This met both criteria for me.

PNY Dual Channel PC3200 Kit
Pros: Pny products work it just that simple! And they are not as expensive as a lot of their competion. I have PNY products in many of my shop Computers and they never have failed me.
Cons: Newegg needs to think about another delivery method. DHL Smart Mail is slower that the regular USPS and because I live over half way accross the United States from California I have to buy from the competion most of the time. And I would rather get a cheaper price than deal with rebates which most of the time never come in anyway.

PNY 2 X 1 GB Memory kit
Pros: Works great and was an easy install.
Cons: Would rather have it cost less than deal with a rebate. And Newegg needs to give up on the DHL Smart Mail shipping it is just slower than regular mail. I would buy a lot more of the time from Newegg but they are all the way in California and the DHL mail system makes it a turn off.

Works like a champ
Pros: Price, clearly labeled, popped right in and fired right up.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Bought for the wife's "shopping" system, so I didn't need top of the line, fire breathing RAM. I haven't run any performance tests and don't plan to. All I can say is that the system recognized both sticks properly and she is now surfing without all of the HDD writes her old 256MB sticks saw.

Doesn't work in an older PC
Pros: This memory works great in one of my computers, a 2-year old AGP / DDR Core 2 Duo. Price was great, as long as the rebate comes in.
Cons: This memory doesn't work correctly in my older computer, which is a small form factor socket 754 AMD from FIC (IC-HU61). It recognizes 2GB of this memory as only 256MB.
Other Thoughts: Does anyone have any ideas why it wouldn't work in my older PC? I didn't see anything saying it was high density memory. I wish I could get this to work.

Last hurrah for DDR
Pros: Standard voltage and density assures very good compatibility for this memory. Purchased two sets for two old PCs with 512MB each, will give them a couple more years of use. Both sets worked as expected, tested for 24 hours straight using memtest86+ tool without errors. These worked well on the two PC's all the way to DDR 266 speeds.
Cons: Like most value RAM DIMMs, these are not meant to be overclocked. However, I noticed that they do not support tighter timings at lower clock speeds as well as other value brands I have used.
Other Thoughts: 1. If you have old PC's you want to breathe some life into, upgrade them to max memory. Catch good deals but don't delay; this type of memory will not get cheaper.
2. There have been excellent deals with rebate on low latency/overclocking 2GB dual channel sets on Newegg and others. However, those are unlikely to work reliably at standard DDR voltage (most cheap PC's or motherboards with no voltage adjustment support). If you are not certain, stick with the strictly compatible stuff.
3. Make sure that you thoroughly test all memory you purchase with memory testing software, so you are not caught by surprise by defects that may not show up reliably until months down the line--getting replacements later on, even under warranty, might not be easy because of dwindling availability. Catching problems early makes things a lot easier.

Memory Upgrade
Pros: Again the savings was substantial, and it is a name brand. The shipping was fast. 3 days or less to my door.
