great price
Pros: looks great and performs well. the chips are running cool due to the heat spreaders.
Cons: NA
Other Thoughts: picked this up for the BIOSTAR P4M900M4 478 mobo and turned an old p4 3GHz chip into a decent system again!

It works...
Pros: Go figure, I ordered 667 MHz memory and they sent 800 MHz memory. No complaints here...
It works, simple as that.
Cons: It isn't faster or free? :)

Doesn't Work with ECS MB
Pros: None since it didn't work. I realize the memory may be just fine and it's just my ECS motherboard, but just wanted to give folks the heads up.
Cons: Doesn't work with ECS P4M900 MB

Great Buy
Pros: The memory is a great buy! PNY has used Samsung 800 Mhz memory chips that are backwards compatible to slower clock speeds. Even though these PNY sticks claim to be 667 Mhz, they're actually 800 Mhz memory!
Cons: NewEgg Shipped FAST (EggSaver), but Delivery was very slow.

Memory errors after 2 months
Pros: One of the two 2GB sticks is still working. For now.
Cons: One of the two sticks went bad after about two months, after Newegg's return period expired. Meanwhile, PNY's website gets errors whenever I try to click the Support link (oddly, all their marketing and sales pages are working fine. Just Support that's broken...), so I guess their "Lifetime Warranty" won't be of much use to me, either.

Tried It In FIVE (5) Computers!
Pros: none.
Cons: ECS RC410-M (Asterope) : Wouldn't recognize it ASRock 775XFire eSata+ : Wouldn't recognize it ASRock Conroe 1333-667 : Wouldn't recognize it ASRock 945GCM-S : Only recognized 1 stick (2GB) Asus P5QL Pro : Only recognized 1 stick (2GB)
Other Thoughts: NewEgg was kind and understanding enough to issue me an RMA TWICE - on the first time, I thought it may have been a bad batch run, but alas, this RAM just don't work right on the motherboards I own!

Good Ram
Pros: Good RAM for the price. Dual channel configuration runs smoothly. I bought this RAM at 800MHz when I could have gotten away just buying 667 at stock speeds. This RAM keeps up with and exceeds my system. The user manual for my Asus P5K standard mobo reports a stock 1066MHz external FSB capable of up to a 1333 automatic bump/OC if the processor requires it (pretty neat). So I put a Dual Core E8400 in it and did some OC'ing to reach 1600MHz and get a 1:1 ratio with the RAM. Everything stayed stable in this configuration through a Prime95 and Folding@Home SMP 24 hour binge on both cores, so I'm satisfied with this RAM being able to keep up.
Cons: None so far. I'll see how this RAM holds up after a year.
Other Thoughts: I did not overclock the RAM itself because I didn't have a need to. Other reviews say this RAM does not OC well. I do not know. I have also since removed my OC and get a 5:4 DRAM to FSB, so RAM still faster.

One bad stick...
Pros: One stick worked.
Cons: One stick didn't Unfortunately, I caught the problem after the 30 days. (no refund from newegg) I called PNY and unfortunately, I need to send in both sticks and there is no way to just send one to get it repaired. Why? I don't know. They also don't do advance part replacement even with a credit card on file.

Cheap RAM that works... mostly
Pros: - It's cheap in price
Cons: - It's cheap in quality
Other Thoughts: So, I thought I'd give this RAM a shot and upgrade later. After installing this RAM I ran MemTest86 and it popped multiple errors every pass. So, I tested every stick by itself and tested every slot by itself with no errors. I replced everything as it was and the RAM continued to cause errors in MemTest, I went aheaded and loaded Windows thinking there must be something else going on, at this point most of my system became corrupted. After a few days of messing with my system I finally got everything back running and now the RAM has no errors...

***FAST SHIPPING***
Pros: The Shipping was fast, still haven't tried it out but it seams fine it took 3 days to ship
Cons: None so far
Other Thoughts: I bought it for an upgrade for my current PC but the Max it can take is 2gb's so i decided to build a new PC and use the ram on there

Works, but 1 module was a dud
Pros: Worked in my Optiplex 745. Heat spreader was nice. Got 8 gigs for a good price.
Cons: After a few weeks my system started crashing randomly, memtest86+ indicated that 1 of the 4 modules was bad.
All products have a failure rate, so I cannot say that my experience will be typical.
Waiting to see if PNY is going to exchange my bad module for a new one.

Good Stuff
Pros: Good buy for $36 which is what I got it at a little while back, but I can see the price went up, but overall great RAM no complains at all highly recommended.
Cons: Better timing =D Apparently not very recommended for Over Clocking I read in couple of places, I hear they fry pretty easy at very low OC's, haven't tried OC mine yet kinda hesitating. If anyone could tell me their results that would be great.
Other Thoughts: I want a Cookie!

Great, just as expected
Pros: High quality. Low price. Newegg service. And now I have 8GB in my desktop machine!
Cons: Haven't found any.
Other Thoughts: Just like any other plastic-packaged product, you'll need a knife to open it. It's nice to know it wasn't an opened box, but it is kind of annoying. The actual product is exactly as advertised. No complaints!

Not acceptable
Pros: good deal had all the memory sticks been good and NEW. Speed wise with my server they are fine.
Cons: 3 out of the 8 sticks were bad to the point they shorted out the motherboard on my wifes system which is the same type I'm using here. They had multiple errors, a lot of them. Since they were properly sealed, I can only blame this on PNY but it was obviouse when looking under a scope that one of the three bad sticks were refurbished by the manufacturer.
Other Thoughts: At first 7 out of the 8 sticks were not working and it turned out the contacts needed cleaning. Afterwords, only 3 were defective. Other 5 worked fine with 0 errors.

Dose the job.
Pros: I was looking to up grade the ram in a system I'd built a year ago. I went with the DDR2 667 over the DDR2 800 do to the fact my computer will run both, but this was cheaper. I understand I won't get the performance out of it that I will the DDR2 800, but beggars can't be choosers
Cons: DDR2 800 isn't the same price. lol
Other Thoughts: I've completely rebuilt my computer with New Egg parts, and never had a problem yet. The only part that has failed me is the keyboard I abused for a year (I'm a gamer and chat fanatic). Always happy with the parts I get from here.

May need to disable onboard NIC
Pros: Great price and quality, have bought many PNY products in the past and have no issues with their products.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: I had bought two of these 4GB kits and after installing the memory, my system became very unstable. It became very slow and un-responsive at times with 4GB and 8GB configs, had no issues with 2GB config. After doing some checking, I found the issue was not with the memory but with the on-board NIC. The driver was causing DMA/IRQ (don't remember which one) conflicts with the memory. I disabled the on-board NIC and my problems had gone away.
OS: Windows Vista 64-Bit – All updates installed Motherboard: Asus P5NSLI - Bios revision 1801 Onboard NIC: Marvell Yukon Gigabit - Driver Version 10.66.4.3
Updated drivers have been released since I resolved my issue but have not tried re-enabling the on-board NIC with the new drivers.

Snap It In/Turn It On
Pros: This ram increased the amount of ram in my system. I did this by putting it in my slots. I had 4GB, bought this ram, and now have 8GB. It seems like really great ram and I wish that all my ram was this kind so I could run it faster but no no no just this kind is this kind. I would recommend it to anybody. Nice heatspreaders. Nice ram! Great effing value!
Cons: I didn't get this kind of ram before... I could have ran my system faster. Oh well.
Other Thoughts: This is awesome. You should get it if you are trying to get this amount of RAM. This is a good value.

Pros: Great Memory Snaped in and nothing else to do runs and works great, will replace my 2-1GB sticks giving me a total of 8GB. Really Quality Stuff will be buying another 4GB shortly.
Cons: None I see yet
Other Thoughts: Buy as much as your computer will hold at this price.

WOW!
Pros: what to put here.... EVERYTHING! For the price i paid, i couldn't have asked for more. everything is super quick with 4 gigs of ram. All my games like L4d, COD4, CS:S, all load within a few seconds. I would reccomend this to anyone!
Cons: well i havn't tried changing timings just yet, but thats comming soon ;)
Other Thoughts: This memory is as staable as a rock, never once had a memory error, with all the stuff i do on my pc.

PNY does it again!
Pros: I have bought this item 4 times now for various builds.
Out of that 16gb of memory NONE has a single issue.
This stuff is QUALITY.
The heat shielding is a nice touch, looks really nice and functions as it should.
Visually and performance wise, you would swear you should have paid double what you actually did.
I will continue to buy this for all the mid range gaming units I build.
Cons: NONE
Other Thoughts: This memory , an e5200 cpu, on a EVGA 112-CK-NF70-TR mobo plus a 8800gts (g92) = CRYSIS @ MAX RES w/ ULTRA HIGH settings.
ALL FOR UNDER $400.00
WOW WOW WOW.
I sell this setup as midrange ALL DAY LONG and rever have issues.
ROCK SOLID!!

4gb RAM! W00T!
Pros: 4gb, it works, no problems.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: Put in an old Dell Optiplex GX520, bumping it up from 1 to 4gb. Noticeable speed increase. I'm going to put the Windows 7 beta on it now :)

Happy Camper
Pros: Heat Spreader is always a plus; Popped these babies in an Asus MOBO P5ND32-SLI and so far they have been working like a charm. ASUS advised against using the 2 GB DDR2 667 stick. In fact they they advised using the DDR2 533 2 GB stick with this Motherboard. But I like to push the envelope. So far so good...If you have this type Mobo and would like to use this type memory, follow the manufacturer's configuration. I have mine in the first two slots
Cons: No cons here. PNY works fine. Only con I can think of is that Windows XP limitaton will only allow you to see 3 GB. But the BIOS will show the full 2048 MB
Other Thoughts: NewEgg rocks baby! Fast delivery. Let's hope they dont get too complacent....

solid ram and a 5.9 windows rating for cheap
Pros: easy to install, heat shield, 5.9 windows rating, all 4 gigs showed up in vista 32 and 64bit OS, super fast shipping from new egg as usual. one of the easiest upgrades you can do yourself.
Cons: i can only fit 2 sticks in my hp slimline, my problem not yours...
Other Thoughts: upgraded from 2 to 4 gigs in my hp slimline s3123w, gave me a 5.9 windows rating for RAM even on vista 32bit operating system. (first installed on 64bit vista, then reformatted)

Solid Mem - Solid Price
Pros: Good quality, reliable/stable Ram with great timings and speed for the price. Used in a HTPC so heat is not an issue as this is no gaming machine but the heat spreaders are always nice
Cons: Packaging needed a knife and didnt pop open which i understand is for the thieves in retail stores but i couldnt leave this box blank
Other Thoughts: threw these in a Shuttle XPC and they are happy in their new home, running vista like a champ

Good memory for the price
Pros: Worked right out of the box with no problems at all.
Cons: None that I know of.
Other Thoughts: I am running Vista 32bit. Obviously I only see 2.7 of the RAM installed until I upgrade to 64bit. But I noticed a difference in how my machine runs (HP Pavilion Slimline). I love the heat sinks on it as well. If your having problems with it, Newegg is always great to work with. Also, do your research before you buy. Make certain that your machine can handle and is compatible with whatever it is you are trying to upgrade.

great
Pros: i have always had good luck with pny. for one thing to the bad review. your mother board has to support dual channel memory. in my bias it shows as dual channel. overall great product for the money
Cons: none yet
Other Thoughts: people need to learn. its the supplier. not newegg. i buy all my stuff from newegg. never had to return anything yet.

Qualty affordable upgrade for your desktop
Pros: Always trusted PNY memories and had no problems with them. This was an upgrade to my HP s3120n running Vista x32. Since Vista can recognize at least 3.5mb memory might as well max it out. Love the heat spreader.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: Newegg delivered my order within a week and had good email communication. Tracking number was accurate.

Awesome performance!!!
Pros: The price of this ram is amazing, it is some of the best budget memory you can get for the price and the fact that a Big name electronics retailer sells the same exact ram for $299 dollars makes it a great buy.
Cons: the only con I can think of is not buying it sooner.

Duh
Pros: PNY usually has good products. At least I've never had many issues over the years.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: People who rate a company as Newegg by manufacture support are not very bright. I have shopped Newegg for like 8 years and have had nothing but excellent support from them. Whenever you buy an electronic device/item you are taking a risk there will be something wrong because of mass-production. So if you have a problem with the manufacturer then write them and complain and just RMA the item and get something different. I don't work for Newegg. I am just that happy with them.

PNY=Limited to NO Support
Pros: The PROs are New Egg who normally does a splendid job!
Cons: PNY memory only reads as "Single Channel" - not "Dual Channel" as advertised. I called PNY support, impossible to get to a real person. Emailed PNY support and received generic answers with no real information on what could cause memory to read as Single Channel. Finally called New Egg to RMA after BIOS update did not resolve the issue.
Other Thoughts: I upgraded my motherboard BIOS and checked for compatibility issues - none found. After BIOS upgrade still reads as "Single Channel" memory - answer was to RMA through New Egg. Dont waste your time with PNY support - non existent. Support and service to me is number one and determines where I will spend my money.

Pros: Good service and price from Newegg
Cons: I made a rookie mistake and ordered this for my Poweredge server when I needed full-buffered (FB) memory, so I had to return it.
Other Thoughts: Nice packaging and nice price, for servers you will need FB-DIMMs.

max memory
Pros: haven't purchased
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: just wanted to say that a 32 bit os will only see appox 3 gigs of ram at the most, if you want to actively use more you'll need a 64 bit os which isn't adviced due to the lack of software and drivers at the time.

Great
Pros: Cheap. Stable. Decent latencies.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: Only 2.75 GBS of ram show up using WindowsXp 32 bit. I guess XP can only use that much. Even though 4GBS is shown in the bios. Need to upgrade to vista.
