It Works!
Pros: It works with my Asus EEE Box B206! Did a bios update and it recognized the 2 GB of memory.
Cons: None yet.
Other Thoughts: For those who would wish for better directions on the accessing the memory for the EEE Box, the pictures in the "chinese" verson of the B202 manual show you how!

so far, so good
Pros: Does what it was made to do.
Cons: EeePC 904ha needed a bios update (a new one just came to be in June 2009 or close) to 'see' the 2 gigs - I was quite puzzled for a while as XP was obviously not seeing it all. Just 1 gig registered in 'system' and such. A fave self exe program "System Information for Windows" and another "CPU-Z" would both read 2gig but the proof for me was that the hyberfil.sys file remained at 1gig meaning only 1 gig was being written to disk upon my common way of powering down by 'hibernating' which writes the ram quickly to disk. It was a pleasant relief when the bios update changed everything instantly. So while this is more an EeePC issue the 'con' was that even after reading a bunch of these reviews I wasn't able to come across this info here even though many mention my cool netbook.

RAM makes me happy
Pros: I ordered two of these sticks and the RAM installed quickly and quietly in my Acer laptop.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Forgot I had to upgrade to a 64 bit OS to run more than 4GB of RAM, but once done it works awesome!

Excellent for Eee PC 701 4G
Pros: Purchased for 2 sticks of this for my twin Eee PC's. Both are model 701/4 gig SSDs in each. Shipping time was average, and both sticks work great. Showing up in the BIOS and in Windows XP system properties. If you are running the stock Xandros Linux, others have said that it will only show 1 gig, so I cannot comment about that, but with XP these work great. Was running 512 MB of RAM before, and these 2 gig chips made my little Eee's like lightning.
Cons: None

Great!
Pros: Installed this RAM into my new EeePC as soon as they both came in, can't really tell if there is any difference in performance because I didn't even powered my netbook on before installing this RAM. Everything works beautifully!
Cons: There is no Cons!

Pros: Works great in my Acer 4420-5239. Fast, free delivery. Easy ordering.
Cons: My Acer came with 2 1-GB sticks. I bought 1 2-GB stick, and it didn't register when I put it in slot 2 with a 1-GB still in slot 1. Swapped to slot 1, and it worked great. Bought another, popped it into slot 2, and now all 4 GB work great.

Apple Likes it
Pros: I have used over 50 of these sticks with none bad yet. And Apple can be real picky about their memory.
Cons: Why is it cheaper to buy 2 single sticks then one 2 stick pack?

Good but Dead Now
Pros: Well priced, lots of ratings, and lifetime warranty.
Cons: The RAM died after a little over 6 months of it being in my Macbook Pro.
Other Thoughts: Hopefully, Transcend will replace it because of the warranty... if not, then they are a terrible company indeed.

Totally disapointed
Pros: None
Cons: Died while computer was stored. Cheap is not always good. Made mistake of depending on reviews..
Other Thoughts: Bought this with my asus laptop purchase from newegg in Jan this yr. Installed OK. Used laptop for 10 hrs. Set up, registration, d loaded updates, etc. as was being transfered out of country. Shut down & stored it in its shipping box. Got back 2 weeks ago. Started it up, got "windows resuming", never started up. Black screen only. Asus diagnosis was "non Asus Memory defective. Transcend says it's neweggs prob. Newegg policy says too much time has passed. Will never trust Transcend. Will buy stick from my base exchange.

Good memory for my macbook
Pros: Price (although there are about 10 other modules for this price). Easy to put in, gave an awesome performance boost to my MacBook. Went from 1gb to 2.5gb. Parallels used to make everything very slow. Now it runs perfectly. I have it running ubuntu too.
Cons: Why does shipping cost $6 for something that weighs so little. And why send it three day when it would get to me in the same time ground? (I live within 50 miles of the Newegg warehouse). It could be mailed, and in a smaller box. But that's okay, it's just $6.
Other Thoughts: Price went up after I bought it.

Perfect Notebook RAM Solution
Pros: I took the advise of the Newegg.com masses who have come out the most on this product to say how painless it is. Well I can attest to this now. In installed this RAM into my Dell Vostro 1500, powered the machine up, consented to the change in amount of sys memory that BIOS reported and done. This RAM worked without issue. I encourage anyone concerned with shutdown leaks turning into system hangs, buy this RAM and call it a day. Spend your time on stuff you cannot solve. This RAM will never fall into that category.
Cons: Not a single beef.
Other Thoughts: I am in IT professionally and I have seen the impact that incompatible RAM can have on a server or system intended to stay lit 24/7/365. Likewise, I have seen what incompatible RAM can do to the shutdown process - hang it up. This is a perfect, affordable solution. Can't speak to the provider's support contingent, but then, I don't really want to. IF you want it to work the first time-every time. Stop reading reviews and buy this product. Newegg had it in my hand in under 24-hours. God bless their central NJ distro centers.

Pros: The memory works flawless in my Macbook Pro. Installation took about 5 minutes and applications perform much snappier now.

Pros: None that I know of, except good reviews here for other machines.
Cons: Did not work with my Acer 4315, which can accommodate 2x2GB 200-pin so-dimm, pc2-5300 memory like this, same CAS latency, etc. My machine blue screened with error messages alluding to recent hardware changes, and some going further citing memory incompatibility. Who knows. Might have been a bad batch.

Pros: It works perfectly. Memtest86+ reported it to be just as fast as my preinstalled 667mhz memory and found no errors.
Cons: With this much RAM, swsusp does seem to take longer than on my old laptop, although it may all be in my head. 3GB swap LV on dm-crypt -- no idea really, but that may not scale as well as just using Blowfish directly on an MBR slice. Have not consulted the documentation, YMMV, etc.
Other Thoughts: I put it in a ThinkPad T61, which I configured with just 1GB. Saved a bunch of money. I am running Linux, if the references above didn't already make it obvious.

Works Great with Toshiba A215-S4747
Pros: Boosts your laptop application processing speed.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: Price has dropped over several months. I bought another 2GB. However, Windows Vista (32-bit) only recognized 3.5GB (as expected).
Windows initially said it recognized 2GB only. However, after powering off, switching the RAM modules and re-booting, Windows recognized the 3.5GB.

Great
Pros: No problems. Installed into my ThinkPad T60P in about 5 minutes.
Running Ubuntu 7.10 64bit OS, ...3D desktop, effects, and programs all run better with more memory.
Cons: I absolutely hate the plastic seal packaging - should manufacturers make better choices? Yes they should. I can't believe nobody has lost a finger cutting through that hard plastic, and sued the pants off whoever is responsible for this "accident waiting to happen." A grandma sues McDonalds over hot coffee and wins, and nobody is taking on this terror packaging? Come on America, you can sue better!
Other Thoughts: Make sure you're running a 64bit version of whatever OS you fancy, or you will not see all 4GBs. This is not a problem with memory, but the way memory addressing works on 32bit operating systems.

perfect
Pros: perfect, went into my macbook pro in less than 2 minutes and I've never seen photoshop load so fast! sweet.
Cons: A LOT of packaging, excessively wasteful. But I suppose thats more on newegg's fault. a box full of peanuts, then covering a the ram in gigantic bubble wrap isn't too helpful... Too much waste.

Cons: Nothing bad about this product.

Great Choice
Pros: Worked great right out of the package. Have an Acer 5100-5455 laptop with Vista Home Premium. Came with 1gb. Popped in the 2gb and still have 512 installed. System recognizes 2.3gb of the 2.5gb and works great. Much faster. Great deal for the price. Especially since in the stores this is over $100 for the same memory
Cons: None

Works great in Dell M1330
Pros: Dell wanted $300 to upgrade a Dell XPS M1330 from 2GB to 4GB when I built my system. I bought two of these for about $80. Swapped them out for the 2 1GB sticks that came in the laptop and ran Memtest86. No problems found. System is running great.
Cons: Can't think of any
Other Thoughts: Don't get suckered in my computer manufacturers outrageous prices for RAM.

Cheap, easy, awesome
Pros: Why pay more? This was an easy upgrade to an Intel MacBook. 4GB for under $40 - this is a no-brainer upgrade. Now Parallels works properly! Strange how Apple charges more than $400 for the same memory...
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: At these prices, why wouldn't anyone max out the RAM on their laptop?

Works Great
Pros: It works great with my Dell Latitude D520. I have it paired up with an older 512 stick, so it runs at a little slower frequency, but it worked from the second I put it in. Great product and well worth the money.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Transcend offered a rebate when I bought. I'm still waiting for it, but with the rebate, it was a great deal.

Consider getting two...
Pros: It's good and affordable. Normally I'd only consider getting memory from one of the more well-known brands, but given the price difference, I gave Transcend a shot. No complaints, everything is stable. I put two of these in my Acer Extensa 5620, as it can handle 4GB. Granted, Vista Home Premium only recognizes 3GB, but the extra gets used for my onboard video. And I don't have to consider any further memory upgrades if/when I switch to a 64-bit O/S.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: I got my laptop around Thanksgiving. It's good to see that more and more are actually being sold with 3GB.

Pros: Cheap memory. Runs fine on my HP Pavillion dv9000t. I bought 2 so I would have a total of 4 gigs. Great improvement in overall system power compared to 1 gig.
Cons: None that I can think of. With memory this cheap, why not upgrade?
Other Thoughts: you'll need a 64 bit OS to support more than 3.2 gigs.

Works great in MacBook Pro
Pros: Installed one of these a few months ago. Added another the other day. Works great in a MacBook Pro. Memory tests come out fine. System is stable with no abnormal issues.
Cons: Typical massive price drop here at NewEgg on memory. The first chip I paid nearly 3x the amount of the 2nd one! The price of technology!

No brainer
Pros: Works like it said it would, noticed a big difference in performance on my Dell Inspiron 1521. Only had 1gb to start out with and 256mb of that was shared with the video card. Dell put 2x512 sticks in here, so I'm now running at 2.5gb of ram instead of the 3gb I had wished for, oh well. But it does what it should and was 100% compatible.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: Also note I am running Vista Home Premium, so this upgrade was a MUST!!!

Works perfectly in my 2.2Ghz late model MacBook
Pros: I bought a brand new 2.2Ghz Macbook with 1GB RAM and 120GB drive and upgraded the RAM and HDD as soon as I purchased it. Apple wanted over $800 to upgrade to 4GB and instead I accomplished the same thing with 5 minutes of my time and $88.
Cons: It won't clean the litter box.
Other Thoughts: Snaps in nicely, benchmarks out to speedier than the factory RAM - at over $700 less than the factory upgrade at the time of this review. Can't beat it.

Great performance at low price!
Pros: Easy install, cheap price without sacrifice in quality and excellent increase in performance.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: This was installed in a Toshiba Satellite A215-S5802 notebook that came with 1 GB memory. (It's primarily for the wife.) I wanted to juice up the performance a bit seeing that I had also loaded MS Office Home & Student 2007, so I installed two 2GB sticks which took me about 5 minutes. The memory was recognized right away and the machine began zipping through its paces in very speedy fashion. My wife was impressed and now thinks I'm some kind of computer genius. Even though this task was so simple that even an idiot could successfully do it, I shall say nothing to dispell her admiration of my feat! Bottom line, for the price/performance ratio, you can't beat this memory. Buy it!

Excellent memory, MUST buy!!
Pros: Passed memtest on my MacBook Pro Santa Rosa chipset. Made an awesome difference to processing time. Have XP Pro in VMware, Word 2008, Handbrake, iTunes, Firefox, Dreamweaver, iWeb, and Thunderbird all running at the same time. No slow down at all. This memory can take it.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Wish there were lower cas latency Ram for laptops.

Good Price
Pros: Good memory, sent to my house quickly. Easy install no problems so far. Used it to increase memory to 4GB in my laptop from 2GB. Works in a Toshiba A215- Good buy for the price.
Cons: None that i can see so far, I havent owned it long enough. Hope they last a while. Memory came in weak basic packages but is wrapped in a box with bubbles.

Does exactly what it was suposed to do.
Pros: Went from 1.0Gb to 2.5GB of ram w/ windows Vista. Made a huge improvement! If you are running Vista with only 1.0GB, you need more ram. Using my computer became less of a chore and I was able to get done what I had too.
Cons: I can't have two of these without upgrading to 64-bit?
Other Thoughts: You need this if you have less than 2.0 or 1.0GB or Ram with Vista.

HP dv6407nr
Pros: Installed this on an anemic HP dv6407nr and saw a immediate (albeit moderate) improvement in application load time and overall performance. This replaced one of the existing 512 modules to give me 2.5gb of available RAM, of which 2.1gb shows up in Vista 32bit (built-in video card with shared memory stole some from me).
Cons: None. It works great. I'll post in another 6 months to report on the longevity of the product.
