Don't Buy!
Pros: It's blue
Cons: I've purchased 2 adata 16gb class 6 sdhc cards for my Pentax K100d and both of them have gone bad after 1 month or less of use. Even after re-reformatting they still can not be read or will have errors in my camera. My Kingstons however, work just fine. Stay away from adata.

A great SD card!
Pros: Needed a semi-large SD card to "expand" the small HDD of my netbook. Works just like an SD card should.
Cons: Not as durable as other brand SD cards I've owned. Plastic around contact pins has fallen off, and I've been careful with this product.

Performs well
Pros: * Price * Size * Class 6
Cons: * none
Other Thoughts: On a Canon T1i, I get the following number of photos (continuously) before the camera slows down due to the buffer: RAW+JPEG = ~6 shots, RAW = ~9, JPEG (Large / Fine) = ~25. I am able to shoot 720p video without running into any issues. I have another Class 4 card which performs just as well so I didn't notice much difference between the two.

Great card for the price
Pros: 16 GB for a great price. I bought this card to update my old 1 gb card for my digital camera, as we bought a new Panasonic ZS3, and had been using the card from our old camera. I went with the class 6 because the camera has a high speed bust option. I instantly noticed the difference between our old class 2 and this new card, especially when using the HD video feature and the high speed burst.
Cons: None so far. I've only had it for 3 weeks

Horrible
Pros: Great price!
Cons: I'm a professional photographer and this memory manage to loose all the pictures in it that I worked on in a huge production photoshoot. Never buying A-DATA products ever again. Oh just to mention their website for email support doens't even work. I tried it on my Ubuntu Desktop machine and my Windows 7 Laptop, neither one worked
Other Thoughts: DON'T BUY THIS CARD OR ANY PRODUCTS FROM A-DATA

Works great, for about 3 uses
Pros: large capacity
Cons: I guess you get what you pay for. Purchased this back in April 2009 to go along with the new Canon DSLR I had just purchased. Used it 3 or 4 times thinking everything was okay after reading the negative reviews. Then last weekend, bam card not recognized by camera, card not recognized by computer. Everything on the card now gone.
Other Thoughts: Hope the RMA process is smooth.

DOA
Pros: The price was reasonable, and it had free shipping.
Cons: It doesn't work. Won't even detect in my laptop's card reader, and just produces an error in my printer's SDHC card reader.
Other Thoughts: RMA for another one. See how that goes.

Card Failed After 3 Months
Pros: Cheap (Apparently too Cheap) for 16gb Class 6, worked great before it died.
Cons: Card corrupted/failed after 3 months of use in my Nikon d90
Other Thoughts: AData Customer service RMA'd the failed card without any issue and promptly issued a replacement. Will see how the replacement works out, although I am now extremely hesitant to store anything critical on it for fear it could fail at any time. Spend a few extra bucks and get something from a more reputable manufacturer

Pros: Sustained write speed of around 7.66 mb/s, and 13.5 mb/s write speed, while stressing all 3 cards I purchased without any issues. Used one of them fairly heavily over the past week in my Canon 450D, and does well with continuous JPEG captures. Haven't had any issues so far, but I guess time will tell to see if they last with my previous SanDisk Ultra II cards.
Cons: Can't keep up with continuous RAW photos taken with my Canon 450D, but was expected for the price. Flimsy cases but not a real issue.
Other Thoughts: Good buy IMO for price -> size. Not lightning fast but if I needed that I would have paid more for a faster card. Does what I wanted them for just fine.

It does the job
Pros: Large capacity. Fast transfer speeds. Cheap price.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: Bought for use with the Cannon SD1200. The flash memory card has no trouble with the 10 MP camera.

won't work with canon camcorder
Pros: Purchased this along with a canon camcorder only to find out that the camera does not like it, it says that video can't be recorded on it. Purchased a SanDisk and it works, so beware that not all cameras will work with it. I am using it with my canon digital camera and it works just fine.
Cons: Does not work with some camcorders
Other Thoughts: It works with most digital cameras.

Works Like It Should
Pros: Works just like it should. Immediately recognized as 16GB card. Have used it many times in my Canon HD video camera without a hitch. Class 6 works just fine even for HD filming.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: Works great, great price, what else is there to say?

Cons: Doesn't work with GOPRO HD

Adata just works
Pros: Cheap, reliable SDHC cards from Adata. They always seem to work.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: I have several SDHC cards from Adata (4GB, 3-8GB, 2-16GB) and they all just work. Never have any issues. This particular card was used for map expansion on my Delorme PN-30 hand-held GPS. Can fit entire Topo8.0 US map set on 16GB card with room to spare to add hi-rez aerials, etc.

Speedy Card, but cheap pastic
Pros: Fast, I use it with my T1i the memory can keep up with the speed.
Cons: The bottom of the card cover crack after 4 time of pushing it out of camera and in to my notebook, this is the first memory card I crack, I have 5 different size of sandisk memory stick and this one is not as sturdy. I tape it over for now, still work, planning to ask Adata for a exchange.

Works great
Pros: Works great, relatively fast, and reasonable price. My PC has a SD card reader, so I can use it for PC and other electronics like camera, video camera, etc.
Cons: Doesn't come with a USB adapter though I didn't expect that.
Other Thoughts: Dreamed this SD card might have 160GB instead of 16GB.

Good, Cheap Card, Some Reliability Issues
Pros: Cheap, Class 6 performance.
Cons: I've ordered 4 of these cards in this capacity and another 2-3 cards in smaller capacities for various devices. Of these, one was bad. Having said that, I've since ordered another few of the same cards without any issues.

Good Value
Pros: At this price ($35 as of the composition of this review), these cards are an excellent balance of performance, space, and overall value. In real-world usage such as transferring footage off of the card from a Canon HF S100 camcorder (via card reader), I see about 16MB/s read and 12MB/s write. As such, the card could easily be sold as class 12. If your device is compatible, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this as a well-balanced solution for your SDHC-accepting device.
Cons: While overall fairly trivial, I do want to include this for the sake of completeness: Initially, the card's thickness caused it to get stuck in my camcorder while other cards did not. This went away after about 6 insertions or so and the ejector mechanism began to work with this card as well. While I'm sure the card thickness is perfectly within specification, it may be on the high side of the acceptable range. Keep this in mind if your device has a tight slot.
Other Thoughts: (Suitably witty and slightly humorous off-topic sentence that catches the reader by surprise.)

Try only one to very it works
Pros: Low price memory with large capacity
Cons: Purchased 7 cards for an around the world trip to store photos. First 500 pictures usually no problem on Pentax K20D. After that, would drop several photos in a row repeatedly and require a reset of the card and/or camera.
Other Thoughts: Very disappointed in A-Data memory. Sandisk worked perfect without ever missing a photo though double the price. If the pictures are important, spend the extra money :(

Great SDHC Cards
Pros: Excellent cards - I've been using three of these with my Cannon HF100 and have had no problems. They format quickly in the camera and read fairly quickly. The camera always recognizes them and using them is completely trouble-free.
Cons: None - I've thought about buying one for my still camera, but I'd be worried about putting that many eggs (photos) in one basket ;)
Other Thoughts: I wish USB transfer speed was a little faster. But, no matter how fast they are, 16GB is still a lot of storage to push through a USB port, and it's WAY faster than the 1x transfer I used to do with MiniDV tapes :(

Don't waste your money
Pros: None.
Cons: Does not meet the Class 6 specs. Package is mis-leading - this is not a "Turbo series" card. Did not work in a Panasonic AG-HMC150. Dropped frames. Junk.
Other Thoughts: Need my money back on this one.

Cheap card,
Pros: It works good on my laptop, cheap.
Cons: I used it with my Panasonic AG-HMC70 to record a video. I recorded some clips of 10 mis or less and everything was going good. When we got to the MOST important thing of the event the card FAILED after recording for 45 mins or so. I lost all the clip! very disappointing. It said Check card and it froze my camera.
Other Thoughts: if you are going to use it for something important you should think about it twice...

Dead in 8 Months
Pros: While it worked, it was pretty fast.
Cons: I had been using this card without issue for 8 months. Then it just died. I can't read any of the data, I can't write any data to it, and I can't even format it.
Other Thoughts: I should have paid better attention to the other reviews on here.

Don't buy this card...
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: It failed after 1 week i received the card. I didn't give it intensive use, just captured a some videos and pictures. I couldn't recover my files... it looks like it has physical damage and can't use it anymore. To return this item and have it replaced will cost me the same than purchasing a new one... it doesn't worth the effort.

horrible junk! Slowed my camera, lost files
Pros: very cheap
Cons: very cheap quality! Bought this for a digital camera that also does HD video. The camera would start up very slowly, taking 10+ seconds. I blamed it on the camera and cursed it's slow startup for almost a year. Sometimes photos and video wouldn't write to the camera either. I finally got a new 4gb HP SD card on sale and the camera started up instantly. It was the A-Data card all along! I removed both cards and tried it and sure enough, camera started immediately. I could almost cry over all the photos and videos I lost, or all the special moments I missed because the camera took 10+ seconds to start with this A-Data SDHC card.
Other Thoughts: avoid anything a-data, not worth the hassle.

VerySatisfied
Pros: I haven't been able to find a better priced item with the same capacity. It does exactly what it should and the speed is identical to another card I have of the same capacity which cost me nearly three times as much a year ago.
Cons: None that I can think of.
Other Thoughts: Allows for nearly 4 hours of video on my Sanyo Acti HD camera on max settings, way more than I need.

Nikon CoolPix L100
Pros: Works Great with above Camera Model. I hear the Nikons are the more picky devices so that is a plus. Super huge amounts of storage for the money.
Cons: It would have been better if it were a MicroSDHC with adapter, but the price was right.

Pros: Cheap for the size and write speed. High marks on Newegg. Being used as a storage drive in my Vaio P. A-Data has been very reliable in recent years.
Cons: Its not specific of this card, but it seems to me that thinner plastic and thinner gold contacts are being used in most SD cards compared to 5 years ago.
Other Thoughts: I was considering the Class 10 A-Data card but saw the horrible reviews. Decided to stick with the proven Class 6 model. I'm not using it in a video camera or shooting DSLR RAW, where speed is a priority anyway.
I used to use Ridata cards exclusively until about 2005 when they seemed to drop in quality overall. So I have been exploring other brands and A-Data seems to be pretty reliable so far. Grea

wow - fast
Pros: Fast and inexpensive, great value Small transfers are almost instant, larger transfers are sustained >22mbs even on an older computer
Cons: n/a
Other Thoughts: I used this in a canon T1i with no problems. Fast memory works well with the camera and supports burst shooting in RAW mode just as prescribed by Canon. Tranfered images off the card through the camera to my old P4 prescott 3.4 ghz workstation in surprisingly fast speed using Windows7

DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!
Pros: None...
Cons: I bought this card to take pic's during my wedding anniversary. It worked the day I got it and FAILED the first day on vacation! Because of this, we were not able to take any pics...
Other Thoughts: Since it failed while we were out of the country, it's been over 30-days. So, now I cant even return it. Worthless...totally worthless...
Manufacturer Response:Dear Customer, We apologize for any inconveniences that this may have caused. We're more than willing to send you a new card as a replacement. Great card
Pros: High capacity, 6Mb/s sustained read. It's a nice card. I'm using it for storage in my Eee PC. The best part of it is, this SD card has better write speeds than my Eee's SSD.
Cons: Gets really hot. The pins are fragile, they are already showing thick black lines after only 4-5 removals from the card reader. Even after decimal-binary conversion, there seems to be a bit (3-4MB) of slag memory that isn't being utilized. No biggy.
Other Thoughts: Worth every penny, to be honest.

A-Data keeps my DATA!
Pros: A LOT of room! Even for 15 Megapixel Cannon Rebel T1i is a plenty of capacity. Works real good, reliable.
Cons: No so far.

Other Thoughts: Other than my 16year old son taking apart the plastic causing me to glue it back together, this thing has been great. I bought it for our new Canon DSLR at Christmas and we have used it a lot! Now, I'm purchasing a second and maybe a third one!

ADATA 16GB SDHC
Pros: It worked for about a day after trying many different things. Provides 16G more space. ADATA typically has higher speeds per reviews
Cons: It worked for about a day after trying many different things.
Other Thoughts: This card is a real disappointment. I purchased one for a dell mini 9 network, based off reviews. It has never really worked correctly. Literally just became flaky after a couple days to a weeks use. Now days, it works about 1 out of every 20 times I put the card in or out. I do a dual XP/Ubuntu 9.04 on the netbook. Seems to work ok under XP, which would be fine if I didnt want ext3 on the drive. This may be a kernel limitation (2.6.28-16-general), but it did work for a bit just fine. Dont even think about adding this card to your /etc/ftab to auto mount.. I need to boot up, and pull the card in and out at leased 20 times, and dmesg to verify if it finally mounted. Was going to put music on the drive for my wedding oversees, but its too unreliable, so have a space or backup plan. If you can on doing anything other than just a vanilla windows install, use caution. Dell mini 9 will recognize card as /dev/mmcblk0. Too bad the bios is limited in that you cannot set the sdhc as bootable.
Manufacturer Response:Dear Customer, We apologize for any inconveniences that this may have caused. Our RMA department will be more than happy to replace the defective cards for you. If you have not contacted our customer support, please do so by emailing your name, phone number and shipping address to support@adatausa.com. Please also include a brief description of the problem you have with the cards. Responses will be made within 1 business day. thank you

Works perfectly
Pros: Cheap high capacity card.
Cons: Haven't found any after months of heavy use.
Other Thoughts: I have not had any problems at all with this card. It has become "old reliable" for me.

Works fine
Pros: Working well to increase the storage of my netbook (which only has an 8 GB SSD). I get write speeds a little >4 MB/s according to Vista in large file transfers. Mostly using it to store video files, and they playback fine.
Cons: None

Worst Product Ever...
Pros: It's cheap, if you consider $30 for a SDHC that works for two days cheap...
Cons: Used as music/movie storage for a netbook. Bought one, failed after two days. It was replaced by Newegg. The replacement failed after two days. Worst device I have ever owned.
Other Thoughts: I also bought one of these for my brother to use with the Digital Camera I bought him for Christmas...his seems to work fine so far. But I am strongly considering buying him another.
Manufacturer Response:Dear Customer, We apologize for any inconveniences that this might have caused. If you have not contacted A-Data's RMA department, please do so by emailing to rma@adatausa.com. In the email please include your full name, shipping address and telephone number. You could also include a copy of your Newegg comment if you wish. We'll be more than happy to send you a tested and working replacement. Hope to hear from you soon. thank you.

Does NOT suck!
Pros: Capacity is massive (for at least the next few weeks), quick, inexpensive
Cons: It isn't titanium and indestructible?
Other Thoughts: Can't beat it for the price. I chumped up an extra couple bucks for the class 6 vs the class 4.

No Problems
Pros: Awesome card, use it for taking and backing up HD video with my Canon hg20 with absolutely no problems. Cards have worked great and get used about once a week or so.
Cons: I don't know why a few people had issues with them, maybe they are licking them before they stick them in the PC or camera, I could understand why they aren't working when you use them like that... so don't lick them.
Other Thoughts: Good affordable tough card. Fast enough to take HD video, and it seems that customer service has responded to the nay sayers.

Useless Manufacture respond.
Pros: A-Data Copy and past standard respond on the bad reviews
Cons: Not reliable, Slow transfer rate, Poor customer service
Other Thoughts: This post is intended to A-Data Customer Service representative regarding RMA#RE92512
Bad Flash card was send to A-Data and new one received as a replacement from manufacture was even worse. I contacted to customer service and was asked to send flash card back for second time. On my request to send me a good flash card without sending faulty one back I was told that it's impossible. A-Data representative assumed that I lie and just want to get flash card for free. I understand thing happened and card that I bought was bad. It’s ok. But if it’s happened two times on a road it is become trend. I do not want spend my time and money any more to recover $30. I bought another card right after bad one was received. I just want to see how cheap company could be and let other people know it. And A-Data please don't post copy/paste respond without even reading the post. Thank you, Dmitriy P.S. Newegg is the best.

serious users avoid Adata products
Pros: low price
Cons: poor quality control
Other Thoughts: customer service is a hit or miss type experience. the material used to make the SD cards is brittle. some of the Adata compact flash cards are painfully "slow". if your novice or have a very tolerant personality then maybe Adata products will work for you, for myself it is way better to pay a higher price for consistent quality and performance. I have a Lexar Professional 8 GB CF and a Sandisk Extreme III 8GB 30 MB SD, both of which I am very satisfied with the quality and performance. my Transcend 16 GB CF 600x is arriving tomorrow (newegg ratings are why I am trying Transcend"s product) which I am going to install in my Thinkpad X31 (i just cannot let it go and i am curious to see what influence this card will have on the machine, i have two macbooks & an EEEpc, but enjoy the x31 the most). linux is future!
Manufacturer Response:Dear Customer, All our SD products are in compliance with SD Association's standard in terms of material and speed. Please contact our support via email support@adatausa.com. In your email, please briefly describe the problem you're experiencing, and also include your full name, shipping address and telephone number. We hope to hear from you soon. thank you.

Useless Manufacture respond.
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Not reliable, Slow transfer rate, Poor customer service
Other Thoughts: Useless Manufacture respond. Original Card was very slow (less then 3MB/s). I submit request for replacement and send faulty one to A-Data that cost about $6. New card arrived in a few week was brand new but transfer rate was less then 2 MB/s. Spoke with customer service again with almost no result. I will have to send card back in order to get a another probably bad one again. No more A-Data for me. FYI. Fisher-Price just replace $100 worth broken peace without any question and sending old one back.
Manufacturer Response:Dear Customer, We apologize for the inconvenience. please send an email to our customer support and briefly your situation in the email. Someone will be able to assist you with your trouble. Responses are made within 1 business day. thank you.

Not Worth It
Pros: Cheap price for such high capacity
Cons: Cheap and it shows. Card filled to capacity on the first go around with no problems on my Nikon D90. 2nd go around started getting garbled pictures at random. Luckily, I did get some good shots off of the card before it finally failed. It eventually stopped working. I only used the card in my camera and on my laptop when transferring pictures. No reason for failing other than cheap manufacturing.
Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for. If you are need an SD card for video or pictures, don't waste your time with this card. It not worth the the risk. More likely than not the card will fail right in the middle of your kid's recital when you don't have time to switch to a backup or like me you don't even realize the pictures you are taking are not being saved properly because you do not have time to review.
Manufacturer Response:Dear Customer, We apologize for the inconvenience. If you have not contacted our Customer Service for RMA, please do so by emailing support@adatausa.com. We'll be more than happy to replace this defective card for you. Responses will be made within 1 business working day. Awesome
Pros: Hi capacity, 16 GIGS!!!!, SDHC, Class 6
Cons: When I switched from a point-n-shoot Canon to my Pentax K20D DSLR, I had to format the card. It gave me issues. But...no big deal.
Other Thoughts: Purchased with a Canon A590 (which is total poop) and now use in my Pentax K20D DSLR (snappin awesome). Had to format once. Scored it for about $24 a while ago. Can't beat the price for the size and reliability. Get it.

Thumbs up from an amateur photographer
Pros: I got this SDHC card for my SD1100 camera, and now I have more picture space at maximum resolution then I know what to do with.
Having a card this size is fantastic for being able to hold the photos on the go without your computer on hand, especially while you are trying to take those perfect shots.
Cons: None so far.
My only question would be how the card handles while completely full. Since this is almost impossible for me to do so with photos, this is perhaps why others have had issues with the card while taking video.
Other Thoughts: I did some research on local stores and on Newegg for other similar cards, and I fount this one was a perfect sweet spot for space and price for a digital camera.
I am able to take ~4500 pictures at a 3264x2448 8MB 1600ISO resolution with ease or >10,000 pictures at 1600x1200 2MB 1600ISO.
While most of the complaints of this card were its inability to take video with it, I was able to with my SD1100. Grated, it is not really made for taking incredible videos, but I can still use the card for that purpose.

pretty solid card
Pros: cheap, fast, lots of space my digital SLR reads and writes to the card fine, but have not tried continuous shooting mode
Cons: If you plan to use this card to augment your harddrive for a netbook, be aware that Jaunty (Ubuntu 9.04) has trouble reading this card out of the box (i have some 8GBs that read fine). you have to either use Ubuntu 8.04 or manually write a /etc/modprobe.d/options file to get the card to show. If you do that the card also tend to remount every time you wake from sleep / hibernation.
Other Thoughts: for you linux techies out there, this card causes hibernation / sleep issues, so if you're like me and habitually put your comp to sleep, you should NOT use ext2 for this card even though ext2 does fewer writes. Also, i'm not sure if it's the modprobe hack or all SD cards, but the automount only works for 1 user. if you have multiple logins only 1 will be able to use the card at the same time unless you modify fstab and set usermask to 000, and then reboot

Pros: Price, Speed, Tons of Storage.
Cons: None.

inexpensive, lots of room
Pros: 16GB for $30 (when I bought the card in August 09) was a pretty good deal considering I spent close to $50 when I bought the same card a year ago.
I added a 500 GB external drive to my computer so that I could start shooting and storing RAW images from my camera. At 20MB/image, I decided I needed a second 16GB card for the camera so that I could cycle between the two cards as needed. It also gives me the flexibility of shooting more video with my camera without worrying about running out of space.
Cons: Only that with use the "fingers" between the contacts tend to break off. This happens with all my SD cards, so it's not unique to this particular one.
Other Thoughts: Transfer times vary between 8-12 MB/s

Dishonest advertising.
Pros: This memory can handle individual pictures.
Cons: I should have read the user reviews before buying this. This card is advertised as Class 6, in fact the specifications page on newegg says this, "Enhanced DSC function & flawlessly video recording" NOT TRUE. It does not provide flawless video recording. I've been using this on my Panasonic Lumix TZ5 (hi-def recording, 1280x720) for about 10 days. I'm guessing that about 2 dozen times the camera stopped recording at the beginning and middle and near the end of some critical videos with silly message that the flash card could not keep writing. I'm a bit angry because I lost two videos that I really wished I could have had today :(
Other Thoughts: This card is fine if all you do is take pictures... that's all I can say about this. I will be returning this soon.... the advertising is somewhat dishonest... read the user reviews to get a better idea of what happens if you're recording hi-def videos.
Manufacturer Response:Dear Customer, We apologize for the inconvenience and delayed in responding to your comment. Currently we're also testing our 16G SDHC cards on Lumix TZ5 camera. If you would like, please send back the card for us to test and if the card is indeed defective, we will ship you a replacement. Should you wish to proceed with the suggestion above, please send an email to rma@adatausa.com. Responses are usually made within 1 business day. thank you

Unreliable, avoid
Pros: None - failed immediately
Cons: Unreliable
Other Thoughts: 2nd card, replacement for first that died after 1 week. New card was DOA, installed in Canon SX10, immediate "Memory Card Error", camera working fine when I reinstalled my existing 4GB SDHC card. Requested refund, overall, I'm out nearly $20 in shipping and restocking fees over the price of the card. While some of these apparently work, IMO, the risk is too high. Avoid and buy something else.

Works Great
Pros: Big, Fast, Works great, Great Price!!
Cons: The only reason I knocked an egg is the fact that I was not able to use it until I formatted the card. I guess I expected this to be done already? Once I did this the video camera picked it up immediately.
Other Thoughts: Other that having to format before hand I was impressed with the performance.

Doesn't work with Olympus E-P1
Pros: Works with my years old Panasonic LX2 so I'm not giving it a 1 rating.
Cons: Doesn't work with my EP1 which is a brand new camera so I thought it would support the latest and greatest cards. Instead it tries to write to the card and then says card error. Shame since it would have saved over 600 images at Raw+jpg.

Pros: Cheap, large and fast
Cons: Cheap, data lost and died.
Other Thoughts: Used in HP iPAQ 210 PDA. Fine for 2 months then stated to loose data. Cross linked fiiles ect.. Reformated a few times then it died at 5 months. Only used for MP3 files that I have backedup. Don't trust it will new data like vacation photos, video.

Good Card, Not Great
Pros: I have a Nikon D80 and this card works well with it. I shoot in RAW and it can store over 1400 pictures on it. I have never had any corrupted or lost pictures using this card. Reading speeds with a SDHC 2.0 card reader is very fast.
Cons: My only issue with the card is it is not fast enough to keep up with my camera (Nikon D80), shooting in RAW, and burst mode. After about 6 or 8 pictures the buffer is full and it takes a second or two for it to clear enough for me to be able to take more pictures. It is much less of an issue if you shoot only JPGS.
Other Thoughts: All in all this is a good card. It is a good bang for the buck. It will likely get replaced with a card with a bit faster write speed. But would not hesitate recommending it for most people.

High Capacity, Fast - But Unreliable
Pros: Cheap, fast, huge capacity
Cons: Unreliable - failed in first month
Other Thoughts: I have many SD, microSD, USB Flash, and other flash-based storage cards across multiple PC's, cameras, and other devices. Bought a new Canon SX10, got this card to go with it. Worked great until I got a "Card locked" message on the Canon. Checked lock, not locked. Toggled switch, no improvement. Checked with PC, unrecognized. Apparently, I'm not the first to have this happen. RMA'ed with Newegg, they're great. Will keep replacement card, but I'll buy a different card for use with my SX10.

And than, when you depend on it....
Pros: Great price/value; a class 6 with SOOOO much room: 3,300 pictures, full- size, with my Pentax K10D. Would i ever run out of space? Do I even have to upload the pictures to my computer? Do I ever have to delete them?
Cons: Then, during a stay in DC, all of a sudden "card not formatted". The boot sector had scrambled, and 1,200 pictures taken on the line. First time my Pentax K10D ever experienced this kind of cr@*. An email to A-data promptly was answered, but it provided only links to recovery sites - some paid. No responsibility taken, no other suggestions.
Other Thoughts: I got most pictures off when I got home using (the free) Art Plus Digital Photo Recovery, as suggested by A-Data. I have reformatted the card- but will I be so lucky again next time? I think i will invest in eight 2GB cards, spreading the risk. 16GB? Too good to be true.

Great value
Pros: Great price for 16GB. Have not had any problems using it in a Canon HF10.
Cons: None. On the HF10 it takes a while to switch between video and camera mode while it reads the contents of the card - but I assume that is the camera and the sheer size of the card, and not the card itself.
Other Thoughts: Even months later, this is still the best deal out there for a class 6 16GB SDHC card.

works great in my SD970 IS
Pros: I'm very happy with this mem stick. so far I haven't had any problems and i've filled the stick 3 or 4 times now, both with HD video and high res pics. performance is great, quick to respond and no stutter in HD video.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: i hope i don't run into any of the horror stories others have mentioned. fingers crossed.

Fast Card
Pros: 16gb capacity class 6 nice price
I am very happy with the speeds this card is reading AND writing at.
Sequential Read : 18.523 MB/s Sequential Write : 9.814 MB/s Random Read 512KB : 18.288 MB/s Random Write 512KB : 2.296 MB/s Random Read 4KB : 4.607 MB/s Random Write 4KB : 0.020 MB/s
Cons: none so far
Other Thoughts: I just received this card today, so I can not comment on how reliable it is for long term use. I'm using it with a Panasonic ZS3, and it works great with it.

GOOD FOR HD-VIDEO
Pros: Works great, fast. Lots of capacity. I got two cards but only been able to use half in about a month.
Cons: None. No problems so far.
Other Thoughts: Excellent priced at Newegg. Also please note any video camera that you use this in, read the literature and it will say that the card must be formatted by your camera in order to work correcty otherwise there may be errors and abnormal functioning.

Cheap, works- what's not to like?
Pros: Works, 16 gigs of storage for a low price.
Cons: Doesn't work perfectly in Dell Mini 9 with Ubuntu 9.04 Netbook Remix - you need to add a line in the Linux config options.
Other Thoughts: 16 gigs of storage for $25 ... hard to go wrong with it.

Awesome, does what it is supposed to
Pros: Large Capacity (roughly 3500 pictures at 9MP). It is faster than the free SD card I got with the camera which is nice since I do take some action photos. With 16GB i am able to record over an hour of 10fps 720p resolution video.
Cons: None, other than it doesn't make me a better photographer
Other Thoughts: Newegg shipped this is an 8.5x11 manila envelope, wasteful, but better than shipping in a box

Slow Transfer Rate
Pros: A-Data is good and affordable Brand
Cons: Received card could not support minimum transfer rate required by class 6 SDHC card. Furthermore it could not support even 3 MB/s transfer rate.
Other Thoughts: NewEgg is the best. No hassle return.

Awesome Storage
Pros: Excellent Storage, Excellent Price
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: I popped this SD card into my new Canon SX10is and was able to bang out 1,100 pictures at (10 megapixels) in 1 trip to the Bronx Zoo without having to think twice about whether or not I had to delete any pics to make room for more. I knew it would run out of batteries before I ran out of storage.

Great Card
Pros: This card works well. The read and write speed are fast. I currently use this to store episodes of TV shows and movies in my Creative Zen. I have also used it in a Canon SD1200 camera and it works fine that as well.
Cons: Sometimes I cannot fast forward scenes when watching movies or TV when this is in the Creative Zen. This only has happened for a few files and I'm not sure if its the card or the Zen's problem. Can't knock off an egg for that.
Other Thoughts: I am currently looking to purchase another of this card, however the price has gone up dramatically since I purchased this in December. In December it was only $25.99 with free shipping.

Vista Readyboost
Pros: I bought this for a netbook w/ 2 gb of RAM and Vista Business with the intention of using the readyboost feature w/ flash memory. It definitely makes an improvement with speed. But be aware that Readyboost can only use a maximum of 4 Gb of memory. With a limited Solid State HD (16Gb) I could use the extra space on the hard drive. If you are looking strictly for the Readyboost enhancement, you only need 4 Gb
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: Newegg's price for 4 Gb starts at about $8, FYI

Works great
Pros: it works and it's great capacity for the price, was the cheapest 16 gig card at the time on newegg, a few weeks ago.
Cons: the day i got it i was sitting on a bench in a park, a dwarf ran up to me, kicked me in the shins, and ran away. I blame A-DATA for this.
Other Thoughts: Got this for my girlfriends PowerShot camera, it used to have a 512 MB card in it. Now it can hold over 7,000 pictures and take looong movies. camera will definitely run out of power before it runs out of space now. :P

Troubles :(
Pros: Nice hi-capacity for the price.
Cons: Well this little bugger has intermittent problems in my Dell Mini 9 running Ubuntu 9.04. While the SDHC controller in my mini9 does have issues under 9.04, i've tried other SDHC slots in other computers and operating systems all pointing towards the fact that the A-Data does have intermittent problems just like all the other reviews below.
Other Thoughts: If I had to do it all over again, i would have purchased a different brand.

Almost 18 months of continuous use.
Pros: Worked great right from the start. I have had it since Early January 2008 and never had a problem.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: I did change the format to NFTS. I have used this in 2 different PC's and it has been totally reliable.

2 out of 2 failed
Pros: Large capacity and cheep.
Cons: One failed after about a week, the other after 5 months.
Other Thoughts: I bought 2 of these cards. I used them mostly in my Cowon D2. The first one failed after a week or so if i remember right. I would copy files from my computer to the card and when i tried to access them on my D2 some would be missing, and from there it just got worse and worse until it would not hold a file at all. The other card worked for some time but the same thing happened to it today! It lasted for about 5 months.

Died after 2 months of use.
Pros: Cost
Cons: Slower than it was supposed to be in both my Netbook and an external reader. Died like all the others after 2 months of use. Will not format and cannot be written to without errors.

Nice for Camcorder
Pros: Class 6 speed and good capacity.
Cons: Never enough space for video. Or maybe I am just too poor to buy higher capacity model.
Other Thoughts: I got it at lower price with free shipping. Wish I do use the camcorder enough so that I will not just waste money for nothing.
