Patriot 16GB SDHC Flash Memory Card
Pros: Big memory, small yet sturdy(!!) housing I've not seen a Patriot complaint about the SD case/contacts falling apart like A-Data cards. . . I've had SD Patriot for 3 years and still working! FAST ship from NewEgg and was the cheapest I could find after complete internet seller searching. 16GB is a lot; think about it. . Over 5,000 12MP images on a single card at best quality!
Cons: NONE! But make sure it is manufacturer approved and met the specs! Once you buy flash memory, you OWN it and most sellers won't exchange, but send you to the maker for a warranty exchange!
Other Thoughts: I was originally looking for 32GB cards. . .then thought "over 5,000 pics or 90 minutes of HD video on a single card. . .If I was a professional photographer, maybe. . . MAYBE. .. How much do I REALLY need. . Plus I can get 2x 16GB for LESS than a single 32GB!" Stay AWAY and look out for 'counterfeit' cards! They are all over the "E" auction site! Most are shipping from China; I've also found some in the US. You've probably already seen them, all blue cards with the generic name "Elite Pro 32GB" with a SD logo, not SDHC! (anything over 2GB HAS to be SDHC!), or sometimes with a rainbow graphic along the top. . .search the number on the bottom of the label if it has one like: "94110-925.A00LF". .. you'll see what I mean!

You Got to Be Kidding !!!!
Pros: Nice color combination on label ... I mean I had to say something nice.
Cons: They consistently don't work.
Other Thoughts: This was a replacement set of Patriot cards. The first set would stop storing photo's after 10 or 12 shots. I got the infamous Patriot e-mail saying they were sorry, contact them and I'd get replacements. So I did, the second pair arrived, and they stored photo's without a problem UNTIL ... I tried downloading my photo's onto my computer for editing and guess what, no matter what device I use they don't download. I Hope I can figure a work around but once I do these Patriot cards will be sent on their way to the dump. Do yourselves a favor buy any brand but Patriot. And by the way. Mr. Patriot Customer representative, don't bother sending an e-mail saying how sorry you are and if I jump through a million hoops you'll replace my cards. Empty words of apology won't recover my photo's if I can't download them. One thing I'll give you though, Patriot cards are consistent, CONSISTENTLY BAD.
Manufacturer Response:Dear Valued Customer, We apologize for any inconveniences regarding the issue. This is quite rare that two consecutive drives fails to store data. It can be a setup problem with the software you are using. Please don't hesistate to contact support@patriotmem.com or the provider for your photo software to see if there are any steps you are missing. Thank You for choosing Patriot Memory. Regards, Patriot Memory Support Team

Works great!
Pros: Fast Cheap
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: I use this in my Kodak Zi:8 camera and my Wii. I haven't noticed any slow transfers or other problems. I move it between devices quite a bit so durability seems to be good as well.

Not Class 6 speed card
Pros: Plastic seem a bit better build compare to my 16 gb A-Data sdcard.
Cons: This Class 6 is obviously slower then my A-data Class 6 card.
Manufacturer Response:Dear creatureahh, We feel our SDHC products should be competitive with other memory cards on the market, if not faster. Please don't hesitate to contact support@patriotmem.com. We'd like to look into your speeds to see if there is anything we can suggest to get your speeds faster. Regards, Patriot Memory Support Team

Great card/value - Couldnt ask for more
Pros: Ordered in the morning- arrived next day (year I know it is not card related - but top marks to Newegg!!!) Card is as claimed. Plenty of speed to handle 1080p video and fast shooting of 10mb raw files. I picked up a pair at this price - best deal going I have found and more secure (in my opinion) than using a 32mb card (just dont like putting all my eggs/photos in one basket).
An earlier reviewer said that this is some cheap plastic - joker does not know what he is talking about - Same high quality plastic as any other card I have handled (and do you really think they would cut corners on the 0.05 cents worth of plastic in this thing).
Quality card - lifetime warranty - great performance - what else could I ask for.
Cons: No real cons without being greedy!!
Other Thoughts: Hard plastic carry case is a nice add on. Other brands include a soft card holder which would be a plus (mind you their cards are more than double the price - and for that I could buy a few separately!!) see - now I am being greedy.

Seems to work
Pros: Very large capacity. Works.
Cons: SDHC of course and only works with compatible products. This does not include my card reader I have and even a firmware update will not fix that. Too bad.
Other Thoughts: I use this with a Nikon D40x and for one reason or another it's not fast enough to take more then 3 or so RAW pictures in a row.

Works Great
Pros: Speed is what you need for a DSLR, Cheap, Just Works
Cons: uhh?
Other Thoughts: I put it in my Canon Ti1, I have done 100 shot bursts at 15MP (JPG) and could have kept going, and I can shoot "max length" HD Video with this camera and this card together. Been using it a couple months now, not a single hic-up.

Works Great
Pros: Works great. Good speed. No problems.
Cons: On linux, my laptop will not suspend-to-ram (tries to and then hangs; requiring a forced shutdown/reboot) while this card is mounted. This is true whether it's plugged into the built-in card reader on my laptop or into an external usb reader. Not sure if it's the card's fault or a kernel driver at fault here. (Or just a default Ubuntu config issue) As long as I only unmount the card before suspending, I'm good though.
Other Thoughts: Formatted to ext3 and working great other than the suspend issue. At one point my laptop refused to acknowledge the card, but that was after my laptop had spent a couple of hours baking in my bag (because I had just shut the lid, not realizing that suspend wasn't working). Later that night the card started working again, and I've had no issues since.
Manufacturer Response:Dear Anonymous I'm sorry you are encountering this issue. I urge you to contact us at the email address below to troubleshoot this issue. John Smith Patriot Memory Technical Support support@patriotmem.com

Very Good SD Card
Pros: I have been using this card in a Canon SD1000 camera without any problems. I've been recording video at 640x480 30fps with no lag or problems. The card just works. I shopped around for similiar size and speed cards and even after shipping costs NewEgg was the best price at any store or site I'd trust giving my credit card to.
Cons: I don't know of any cons
Other Thoughts: I've used multiple Patriot SD cards and never had a problem.

Quick Card - Cheap Price
Pros: Low price Fast speed - average write speed of 7.5MB/s, 18.3MB/s read speed. Lifetime warranty from Patriot.
Cons: None, so far - I have yet to use this card in an actual device.
Other Thoughts: Sector error check came back 100% clean.
And, as always, Newegg completed processing the order extremely quickly, and shipping was fantastic.

AVOID!!! Cheap Plastic Case
Pros: Inexpensive, high capacity, descent transfer rate. Worked great while it was in one piece.
Cons: After a mere 3 months of careful use (I bought it in 4/2009), the case is falling apart and the card is now worthless--A complete waste of $XX.XX.
Other Thoughts: I've never dropped or abused this card. I use it in my AVCHD camcorder, so I take good care of it because it contains important memories. I've never had an SD/SDHC card break before. I guess this explains the low price.
Manufacturer Response:Dear Michael, Thank you for supporting our products. I am sorry for the issues you are having with our SD card. Please contact us at support@patriotmem.com and we can assist you with an RMA. Thank you for choosing Patriot Memory. Best regards, Valentine Lan Technical Support

Does't work with Nikon
Pros: Works great in a computer. Very fast, no issues
Cons: Does not work with my Nikon D80. Shows that I can take 1200+ pictures, but then after using for a few hours the camera says "CHA" and I can no longer take pictures or access the ones that I've already taken. Luckily when it died in the middle of my two week backpacking trip in New Zealand, I brought a different brand as a backup.
Other Thoughts: Don't purchase for use in a Nikon D80
Manufacturer Response:Greetings, I am unsure why the device would have caused you conflicts in this manner, however I can say that because you have chosen a Patriot Memory Flash card, you are covered under the Patriot Memory Limited lifetime warranty. Please do not hesitate to contact: support@patriotmem.com to initiate an RMA claim. Thank you for choosing Patriot Memory! Daniel Sorrentino Patriot Memory Support

inexpensive and high quality Its Better than the rest
Pros: Its fast, has the largest capacity for the lowest prices. I have been experimenting with memory storage devices for years and always order the best at the right price, this is the one to get. I purchased 2 for now the flexibility is tremendus. Music collction, photo albums, movies, medical records, shortcuts to favorite sites, can be encrypted in a key or used in anything with a sdhc slot. Mine goes from axim, to key to my sdhc on my dvd player. !!!Go Patriot!!!"
Cons: none at this time 2007
Other Thoughts: I would love to see a 64gb version at the same price.

Works well so far
Pros: Works great in our Canon SD780 IS. Recognizes it as "15.0 GB" strangely, but probably just the 1024 vs 1000 issue...
Works great in an IO Gear 56-in-1 card reader, model GFR281.
Works great in our Samsung NC-10 Notebook built in card reader.
Google's Picassa jumps around between 12 megabytes/s and 16 megabyte/s transfer rate, which is phenominal.
Cons: None so far. Let's hope it's reliable and I don't lose any photos or videos.

Very Disappointing !!
Pros: When they work they work well .. But that's only when they work
Cons: Cards will not record an image about every tenth shot on my DSLR or a failure rate of 10%. I would not buy these again and advise anyone looking for a good 16 GB card to look elsewhere.
Other Thoughts: I shoot RAW in my DSLR and go through cards pretty quickly so I bought 2 Patriot 16 GB cards so I wouldn't have to change cards often. The first time I used one I took about 5 pictures when I got a message that image was recorded. This then happened again after about another few shots, and again, and you get the picture (bad pun since the patriot card didn't). I finally gave up in frustration and switched to a back-up 8 GB card, the experience made even more enjoyable by having to make the switch at dusk in the middle of a snowstorm. I later tried the second card I bought and it was a little better, it lasted 10 shots before malfunctioning, this time at home at a comfortable 70 degrees (to make sure the failure wasn't weather related), in went my old 8GB cards and no more problems. I can understand one bad card but two out of two having the same problem, that's inexcusable. My advise, stay away from the Patriot 16 GB SDHC cards
Manufacturer Response:Greetings, I am not entirely sure why the Flash memory was not performing appropriately but I can tell you that because it is a Patriot Memory Flash Drive, it is covered under the Patriot Memory warranty. Please do not hesitate to contact: support@patriotmem.com to begin the RMA process to get it replaced. Thank you for choosing Patriot Memory! Daniel Sorrentino Patriot Memory Support

Pros: none that i can think of
Cons: the first day i got this card, i took about 20 pictures and then all of a suddent, it said that card read error and it wouldnt work anymore. i figured it was just a bad chip, you know, it happens from time to time, no big deal. i called up newegg and they were more than happy to send out another to me free of charge, which was nice. so i get the new one 2 days later and started taking pictures with it again but this time i could only get about 10 pictures in before it went out on me for the second time...so i believe this card is made with a poor chip in it. i just ended up ordering kingstons 32g card from new egg and it works just fine
Manufacturer Response:Greetings, I am sorry to hear that your experience with our 32 Gig SDHC flash card was less than acceptable. I am not sure why the device would have failed you twice, but I can say that Patriot Memory stands behind every product it makes, that is why we extend a warranty for each item. Intermittent Reliability
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Unreliable
Other Thoughts: I purchased this card in November. I tried it in all my cameras (D200, S210, SD990, and an HP notebook) and the card was either not recognized or I would receive "memory error". I emailed Patriot and they asked me if my cameras were SDHC compliant? Uh yeah! I then tried the card again and it magically worked. So I took pictures for a day and the card failed with "Memory error". I plugged the card into my HP notebook and it was not recognized. I plugged it into another notebook and there were my pictures! So I quickly downloaded them. The next time I used the card I got memory errors again so I called Newegg. Newegg would not replace the card since I had since thrown out my packaging.. lesson learned. I called Patriot and they RMA'd my card. The new card seems to work OK, however I'm still nervous and I'm going to use it as my backup card rather than my primary card.
Manufacturer Response:Greetings, Please allow me to apologize for the less than positive experience you had with the original module. Please do not hesitate to contact the support department at Support@patriotmem.com for any concerns, questions or issues you may have with your Flash memory. Thank you for choosing Patriot Memory! Great Value
Pros: Great price for a good card. I've been using it on my Eee and have no complaints so far, read/write speeds are fast and consistent, even thinking about mounting /home (running ubuntu-eee) to it to free up the 4gb ssd.
Cons: none so far, will use patriot from now on whenever possible.

fantastic!
Pros: Got this card for use in my Creative Zen X-Fi 16gb mp3 player. The video/audio playback from this thing is great! Transfer time is also significantly faster than writing to the players internal memory. Dont remember the exact write speed, but it was above 10MB/s
Cons: cant thing of anything
Other Thoughts: great performing SD card, great capactiy, and great price. I feel like Tony the Tiger, but it's true. Also, my 4GB Patriot SD card that i've using in my digital camera for the past year or so is still working flawlessly. kudos to patriot.

big, cheap, and slow
Pros: This thing is cheap and big. I use it to store dictionaries and ebooks on my Eee PC. Pretty nifty. Read speeds are good enough for my purposes, but read on...
Cons: The specifications say 6MB/s, but I swear I'm only able to get about 200KB/s out of this thing. It's slow as hell. It could easily take me 30 minutes to copy 100MB, so I don't think I'll ever be able to fill up the card. I'm using this card with Linux (like I said before, on an Eee PC). File transfer speeds are hard to estimate because Linux seems to buffer the write operation to RAM before it writes to the disk. It will be going at maybe 500KB/s for 5 seconds, and it stalls and I have to wait for it to sync to the disk. This is further evidenced by the time it takes the sync command to finish. I don't think that my laptop is at fault because I have tested this with a 4GB card and it doesn't seem to have the same problems. I did an RMA on the card I had, and patriot sent me another card with the same problem.
Other Thoughts: It's no secret that flash memory is getting cheaper. I bought this (well, someone bought this for me, joy) when it was still around $70. Now that it's so cheap, I might buy it. But it's not worth $70 for the trouble it's given me. Seeing how cheap these cards have become, I probably won't bother doing another RMA and I'll try different brand.
Manufacturer Response:Greetings, I wanted to take a moment to apologize for the experience you have had with our SDHC card. The Class 6 rating on the card is a standard for all of SDHC line. The speed you are getting is specific to your system. You have mentioned that using a different module flash memory, is this memory rated at the same speed? Is it also SDHC? There are different aspects to why this may be occuring. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at support@patriotmem.com Thank you very much for choosing Patriot Memory! my first one died
Pros: Cheap
Cons: My unit was not reliable (i.e. - it sometimes worked and then became corrupted and unreadable)
Other Thoughts: When I turned my camera on, it took a second or two longer than usual for the camera to recognize the card and after shooting a few test photos, playback on the camera's LCD was noticeably less responsive than my older 4GB Sandisk memory card (which was rated as slower). After shooting several more photos, I got an error on my Nikon D40, telling me that there was a problem with the card and that I should try inserting a new card. Since these were only test shots, I simply formatted the card and started over with a few more test shots - and everything seems to be fine. Then I go on vacation for several weeks, shooting over 1,000 photos on this card. At some point, I get the same error message and it wouldn't mount on my computer. I was able to recover the photos using data recovery a program, but had quite a scare. I'm now going to spend the extra money to buy a Sandisk card, because my old one worked perfectly for years - not one lost photo!
Manufacturer Response:Greetings! First off, I would like to apologize for the less than superb experience you had with one of our products. Patriot Memory stands behind each and every Memory module we create. I would ask that you please contact our Support team by sending an email to support@patriotmem.com so that we can begin the process of resolving your issue and working towards achieving the kind of experience that Patriot Memory is known to give!

AA+
Pros: Great...Runs fast for use with Canon Powershot. No data loss.
Cons: Occasionally...Memory reading error. Most likely bad contacts between camera and memeory...don't know why for sure. Could be the Canon powershot or the memory? Problem fixes it's self once i remove the memory card from the camera and then re-insert it. MOST IMPORTENT>>>No loss of Data.

Great in Asus Eee PC 900A
Pros: Used this in combination with 4G SSD as part of an LVM volume in eeepc 900A, loaded Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex. Gives me an effective, fast, 20G partition. Incredible price. Ordered it 3pm, arrived 6pm following day.
Cons: You want cons? Can't think of any.
Other Thoughts: I'm setting up 20 of these for a computer classroom, running in the mountains of the Dominican Republic on solar power. Going to test these in the OLPC XO, should work great by all reports.

Pros: Works great, and is compatible with all my devices.
Cons: It didn't transfer files at as high a speed as it promised. I'm not sure if this is a problem with my card reader. It has a flimsy feeling plastic housing that will probably break if not handled carefully.
Other Thoughts: Somewhat worth it. This is probably the best deal I'll ever find.

Not A Good Choice For Treo 700p
Pros: Inexpensive.
Cons: Bought two for two Treo 700p phones. Cards were slow to mount and kept unmounting. Cardspeed tests showed 40% slower read speeds than comparable Adata Class 6, Kingston Class 4 and Transcend Class 6 cards. Cards would crash after one test cycle, requiring reinsertion. Returned.
Manufacturer Response:Dear TVCCS, Thank you for choosing Patriot Memory. We apologize for the inconvenience that this matter has caused you. Please contact support@patriotmem.com for any questions you may have. With Regards, Ramguy

Works great
Pros: I bought this for my Panasonic Lumix FZ-50. When I use the continuous shooting , it snaps pictures one right after the other with no delay. Previous cards I have used always had some delay to write the data onto the card.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: I got this card with a rebate, but it is worth it even if it had no rebate.

Excellent Card, Excellent CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Pros: 16 GB on the size of a card almost the thickness of a piece of chewing gum! This card is very fast, and I used i every day in multiple devices - My Flash based camcorder, Digital Camera, Portable media player, you name it! As long as your devices are SDHC compatible, you should have no problem at all.
The cards is very high in quality, Labels are sharp and crisp, and the plastic has a very nice consistent texture on it.
LIFETIME WARRANTY ON ALL PATRIOT PRODUCTS!
After extensive use and abuse, however, the card did die on me, and I blame myself for it. (Read OTHER THOUGHTS below for continuation)
Cons: [....This is not a CON....]
I bought this months ago for about seventy ($70~) dollars. This just shows how much the price of SD memory in general can just fall within months, even with the current financial crisis. It is now Oct. 31st and the card has slashed itself down to 32.99! Imagine when much larger cards come out, just wait maybe 4 months, and the rices will drop at least 30%~40% within that time range!
Other Thoughts: HOWEVER I Repeat, H O W E V E R ~ I sent in an RMA form and read about Patriot Memory's LIFETIME WARRANTY. As I was about o give up hope and toss my $70 card out into the bin, I gave it a shot. I filled out an RMA form, got my RMA number and shipped it. Several days later, I received my tracking number and WHAM! A NEW 16GB card at my doorstep! WOW! This is great! This would mean I would never need to buy another card again, unless I lose the card or need another for other purposes. + A Million for Patriot Techs customer service!

Gets the Job Done
Pros: Plenty of extra space for my Aspire one, class 6 gives you very fast read and write times. Great price from Newegg.
Cons: None yet
Other Thoughts: There is probably cheaper memory cards out there for 16 GB, but this one had good reviews.

no complaints
Pros: worked like a charm first 1500 photos taken were on a vacation and no corrupted file or deleted pics. fast shipment from newegg appreciate there service
Cons: once and awhile when i'd take videos from my panasonic dmc tz5k, an error would appear that said, "write speed of memory card to slow" and would cancel the recording, but when i'd try a second time there would be no problem. though im thinking its the camera now and not memory card as other issues have popped up from camera.
Other Thoughts: for the price can't complain with rebates i paid under 40 and the retailer in which i bought camera from wanted to get me to pay 40 for a 4 gig.

Great
Pros: High capacity, cheap cost, A+ Stores 15000 pictures in my camera, hah.
Cons: It requires newer technology, which is SD2 (i think?)
My computers sd card cant read it, but my new laptop's can. So no big deal to me. Older cameras/sd readers wont be able to read this (including the Wii)

DOA
Pros: Capacity, Cost
Cons: Dead on arrival. Didn't work at all. Shame on QA at Patriot.
Other Thoughts: NewEgg is replacing it at no cost to me. That's why I buy from NewEgg (cost included). I've had a 4GB Patriot card for about 2 years with no problem (from NewEgg). Very disappointing to get a dead card. Who's testing these cards before they leave the factory?
Manufacturer Response:Dear Customer, We apologize for the inconvenience that you have encountered. Your product has a 5 year warranty. Please contact support@patriotmem.com and they can help you to get a replacement. With Regards, Guy

What a price!
Pros: 16GB on an SD card for $55.00?? Who can resist that? Bought this to double the space on my Eee 900 PC.
Cons: Apparently my Wii doesnt like the fact that it is a high capacity SD card, and wont read it. Havent investigated further if this is only a formatting issue, or a card issue.

Pretty Good
Pros: No complaints, fast access and write times. I use it in my n800 for storage space (put pictures, music, and files on there). Comes with a five year warranty.
Cons: DHL shipped my product and due to their re-infrastructuring they drop off packages at UPS near the end of the trip. Though luckily they still provide tracking information so all is well.

For those with an EEE PC
Pros: Since day one I haven't had a problem with this card. I've had my EEE PC (4G Black w/ webcam) for about 4 months now and it hasn't failed or showed any signs of failing. I'm able to constantly play music and videos from this card adn also write to it. Works great! If it matters it's formated to FAT32 using the stock Xandros Linux with the 2 gig kernel.
Cons: None as of yet.
Other Thoughts: Great product and I'm listening to music as I type this from my EEE PC.

Plenty Of Memory 16gb
Pros: Patriot is a quality company that delivers high end products. Plugs into my Cannon digital camera just fine. Plugs into SDHC card reader just fine.
Cons: Limited to FAT32 file format. Does not support NTFS file format. Maximum file size due to FAT32 limitation is 4gb. Unable to boot windows off of this memory card.
Other Thoughts: Read speeds seem to be faster than a normal hard drive. Write speeds seem to be slower than a normal hard drive.

6 Weeks Running -- No Problems
Pros: Installed it in my Asus Eee PC, formatted it ext3 with noatime, data=writeback, and commit=90 options, and set it up to auto-mount at boot in /etc/fstab. Loaded it with a couple hundred music files and a VMWare Player virtual machine. Six weeks, zero problems, I'm happy.

Good but take care
Pros: Some of my products picked it up right away. Others required updates. My Canon S5IS works with it (Camera), My computers needed no driver updates, my wife and father in laws computer did need driver updates however and my Wii does not recognize it. I can take between a minimum of 8000 and 20,000 pictures at 8mp resolution and about 4 hours of videos on it. This thing is great for only needing one card.
Cons: I noticed the cover was flimsy. After about 20-40 swaps of taking it out of my camera and putting it in other devices, it became bent and as of today I am getting a "memory device error" on my camera and no other device reads it. I believe this was due to the flimsy case. My other, non patriot, cards are much sturdier and require a good amount of force to bend, unlike this card. I am almost positive that is what caused it to be broken, the flimsy case. If you do not need to swap it much then this gets a 5 but if you do need to swap a lot, take extreme caution, it is fairly flimsy compared to other brands.
Other Thoughts: Worth buying, just take care not to bend it and if you need to swap the SDHC card a lot, I would suggest another brand.

It just works
Pros: It was immediately recognized by my Eee PC, and by my USB SDHC card reader.
Cons: I had to buy a USB SDHC card reader -- the old SD reader doesn't recognize SDHC (but that's not the card's fault).

Good bang/buck ratio
Pros: High Capacity, class 6 speed, decent price
Cons: Not 32GB? Seems a little flimsy when compared to my old skool 64MB cards
Other Thoughts: I noticed a reviewer claiming it created artifacts and that it washed out the pictures taken on their D80. I too use it in a D80 (and a D200) and have had none of those issues. I have seen an occasional colored line or half completed picture on older cameras I own, but that's usually caused by corruption when the camera writes the jpg to the card. Washout is usually a problem with over-exposing the CCD when taking the picture (like on the wrong F stop). It's digital media, so that kind of analog degredation effect is not possible as it was with analog (35mm film stock) media.

Plastic broke on 3rd day
Pros: Large and fast memory. Price was ok.
Cons: It seems they tried to cut cost by using very thin plastic for the housing. I don't know if I got a bad bacth or not but I am returning and getting a different brand. Hope the other brand is better.
Manufacturer Response:Dear Customer, The dimensions and the size of our SDHC cards complies with Secure Digital Association regulations and standards. Please email our technical support team at support@patriotmem.com so we can further troubleshoot your technical difficulty. With Regards, George

PATRIOT 16GB SDHC CARD
Pros: GOOD CAPACITY, GOOD PRICE.
Cons: AFTER 3 MONTHS USING IT WITH MY NIKON D80 AND HAD BEEN TAKING ABOUT 1,268 PICTURES SOME OF THEM GOT COLORED LINES, SOME OF THEM HAD BEEN WASHED OUT .....
Other Thoughts: IF YOU GET IT DO NOT LET PICTURES SIT THERE FOR A LONG TIME, COPY IT TO PC, CD, DVD AS SOON AS YOU CAN. I LOST SOME GOOD PICTURES.
Manufacturer Response:Dear Customer, I highly recommend checking with Nikon on this issue. The issue mentioned in your original review has never been seen or experienced on any flash card we have introduced to the market. If you have futher issues, please contact support@patriotmem.com. Thank you for choosing Patriot Memory. With Regards, George

Very nice card
Pros: This card has performed flawlessly in my Nikon L14 digital camera and my Panasonic SDR-H18 video camera. The 16GB capacity is just sic! The card stores 7mp pix in a blink, as well as video on both cameras. For a 16GB Class 6 card, $67.99 is cheap for this amount of capacity and speed!
Cons: Absolutely ZERO complaints. I have only had one card to ever give problems. It was a MicroSD 2GB from Sandisk. But they quickly replaced it and all is well. I just got tired of the slower cards and decided to spend the extra money and go to the class 6, and it is well worth it.
Other Thoughts: I REALLY wish they would make 16GB Class 6 MicroSDHC card. I would be very interested in moving over to MicroSDHC for future devices. I am very happy with Patriot memory. I did notice that if you buy from Newegg.com, you only get a 5 year warranty on the card. Whereas if you buy local, you get a lifetime warranty. Not sure what's up with that...

Pros: Perfect! Unlike "JUNK who left his review on 2-22-08, knowledgable tech.'s would check the LOCK slide on the side of the card before jumping to conclusions and RUNNING to the phone or e-mail to obtain an RMA#. Yes, all of these come with a lock slide so you don't lose your photo's, music, or video after switching cards in your electronics while in transit...
Cons: just wish it was as fast in transfer speed as TRANSCEND brand.... but, Transcend has yet to make this LARGE of memory, so far. They will- 150X is what I have now in 8GB!
Other Thoughts: really folks, learn about the items cool features (esp. when they ALL have the same one...) before spending even $70.

Awesome
Pros: So far working great in my Cannon PowerShot SD950. 3,000 pics on 12.1mp, 9,999 on 8mp.. and 2 hours of video. Quality seems the same as any other SD card I've owned.. not sure why others here have had bad luck.
Cons: None. Well ok you don't get the full 16 gigs, but that's every storage device in the world.
Other Thoughts: No reason to get an 8gig when this one is so cheap. Where are the 32s! hehe

SPECTACULAR
Pros: I was at first considering getting a 4gb or an 8gb card, but am i glad i got this card, and not the cheapie 16gb card at that. No speed problems whatsoever.
Cons: decently high price, but then again its lower here than on other sites. oh and you know its a reputable seller.
Other Thoughts: on superfine, my brand new sd850 can take 4599 pics on large, 6040 on widescreen, 6266 on M1, 9641 on M2, and more than 10k on M3 and Small. Oh and i can take 130'33" of the highest setting of video (640x480 30fps), & it goes up from there.
no need to wait for the 32gb, get this and you wont need a new memory card for a long while.

Other Thoughts: I now think twice about purchasing a Patriot Sd Card. I've always used this brand before but had no problems. Ordered my Patriot 16GB SDHC from Newegg.com. It arrived fast but it was useless. The card could not be recognized in any of my SDHC readers including the one I just purchased from Newegg.

Flash 16 G/Patriot SDHC
Pros: I only paid xx for this card on 2/6/08. GREAT price for 16 G. If it only worked!!
Cons: It was defective from the start!!!! I got it to read if I wiggled it around a bit. It was like something with an electrical short. I will not buy Patriot products.

Largest capacity SDHC card right now
Pros: Registers as 9999 photos on my Canon SD 1000 in M3 mode. Big enough to record long videos, I think you get 38 min per 4 GB.
Cons: It is $95 right now, I paid newegg $125, 2 weeks ago. Now that sucks.

Remember: it's sdHC, not sd
Pros: 16Gb removable memory for a handheld device (an n800)..wow!
Cons: A year from now, the 32Gb will cost less than what I paid for the 16Gb..oh well.
Other Thoughts: I first (tried) to use my SanDisk cruzer card reader to check out the card while connected to my desktop linux machine via USB...What's a '-71' error? Hmmm..bad cable?..Cable too long? Eventually I gave up and just stuck the card in my n800, and it worked! So, why couldn't I see it from my PC? More research...
D'uh! I bought the cruzer before the sdHC cards even existed. The cruzer was only made to read sd cards, NOT sdHC!

Yep, the Asus PC EEE recomends
Pros: Asus' PC EEE manual lists several recomded expansion storage cards, and this is one of the few where they actually give the full part number.
Cons: It's pricey compared to the competition.

N800 owners
Pros: Capacity, speed, compatability
Cons: Price?
Other Thoughts: I first bought two 8GB SDHC cards before this card came out for my N800. One of the cards died so I RMA'ed that back to Newegg for a refund and bought one of these and have not been disappointed yet. No read errors, fast write speeds and a heck of a lot of storage room.
I'm buying another one of these for my Nokia Internet Tablet tablet for a total of 32GB worth of mobile storage space. Take that silly iPod touch.
Add in a SD to CF II adapter and my 8GB card finds a new home in my Nikon D300.

Eee users: You know you want it!! Submit!!
Pros: + Reliable performance: I use this card in my 8G as my D: drive for temp, cache, & program file duty; I've even gone so far as to run a couple of TivoToGo files and a DVD Shrink'd ISO from it. No problems whatsoever. + Owning an item that's a "status symbol" among your fellow geeks.
Cons: - Absolutely none. The asking price is very reasonable considering what it initially cost when it was first released.
Other Thoughts: This is the current King of the Hill for what can occupy your Eee's SDHC slot. You only live once, so get what you want out of life, right?

Video Cam issue
Pros: My Nikon D80 accepts this card with no real issues and can hold 1,300+ images in full resolution RAW format.
Cons: My brand new Panasonic HDC-SD5 camcorder for which I bought this card absolutely will not recognize it no matter what I try.
Other Thoughts: When I place the card in my Nikon D80, I sometimes have to remove it and put it back before the camera recognizes the card. Don't know if this card is defective or not, but no matter how much I try to use in in my camcorder (which supports the size), it does not work.

Works fine in Treo 700p and Linux
Pros: I bought this card to convert my Treo 700p (with the the updated firmware that supports SDHC) into a diskless music player. I've put 13GB of Ogg Vorbis files on the card, and while it's going to take a while to listen to every file, so far pTunes has had no problems with anything I've told it to play.
The card also works fine in Linux using the low-cost "Super Talent All-in-1" USB card reader that I also bought here on Newegg.
Cons: The first card Newegg sent me was DOA, but the RMA process was painless and I received the replacement very quickly. Newegg's customer service is the best!

Perfect fit and beyond
Pros: This 16gb sdhc card is perfect for my Dell Axim x50v (running WM6, have to have wm6 on Dell Axim x50v to support this card). It is perfect for keeping pictures, playing mp3's, installing apps, movies, etc. I paired this up with a 16gb CF card for 32gb of total storage on my PDA. SICK! as in the good sick.
Cons: None. Period.
Other Thoughts: Most of the cons reviewers write about these cards have nothing to do with the cards themselves and everything to do with the product that they have attempted to use the card in. Bottom line. Make sure your device can accept the card, both in format SDHC and capacity and you should have no issues.

Device thinks it's ejected
Pros: Lots of storage space, reasonably fast for flash memory
Cons: I got this to use in my Treo 680, which does support SDHC, and is able to use this card. Problem is, it will periodically think the card has been ejected when it has not. Due to the construction of this Treo and the case it's in, it's physically impossible for a card to just pop out. I have to uncase the Treo, remove a cover, eject the card and re-insert it when this happens.

Fast card
Pros: Fast card with plenty of storage space.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: I purchased this card for my Canon TX1, the write speed is fast enough to record smoothly in 720P max quality and give me about 1 hour of recording time. One card arrived DOA and Newegg replaced it no problems. Thanks!!

Pros: Purchased as a primary media for Panasonic HDC-SD1. Camcorder reports that it can fit 2hours and 49 minutes of highest quality video on this card.
Cons: None so far
Other Thoughts: Showed compatible with Sandisk Micromate card reader and builtin card reader of Dell Inspiron 1420.

Awesome Card
Pros: Works great in my Canon SD850, can get 130 minutes of high-resolution video at 640x480 30fps and/or up to almost 4,500 photos at 8 megapixels... way more than enough for our holiday memories. Works just fine in my HP DV6000 series laptop internal card reader with a decent transfer rate, no issues whatsoever.
Cons: As others have said they need to come up with a faster transfer rate for this big of card... put this card in your computer, start copying files, and go make some coffee while it copies.
Other Thoughts: Stop drooling over the capacity of this card and just buy one - you will love it if you do and you'll hate yourself if you don't. NewEgg and FedEx rock!!

Tons of space!
Pros: 16GB (15.3GB formatted in fat32) of space. Perfect for the new 12.1 megapixel Canon PowerShot SD950 IS I'm getting very soon. No compatability problems with my Dell XPS M1710 gaming laptop. Minimum 6MB/s class 6 read/write speed. Very solid design with a sturdy write-protect switch and it comes with a little plastic mini-case much like SanDisk does.
Cons: It works fine but my comp seems only capable of doing 1MB/s write speed, but that's not the card's fault. I also tried it with a cheap external reader worse than my comp's internal one and got relatively same speeds. The external reader sometimes says the card isn't in it. No real problems with the card itself.
Other Thoughts: Very good card for storing tons of data.

Patriot 16GB SDHC Class 6
Pros: It seems now that I'll never run out of memory. Speed is good. I use it mostly in a Treo 700P and my Toshiba Satellite. You have to have an adapter to use it on most other devices and computers.
Cons: With that much space they need to come up with a faster read write speed than 20MB/s.
Other Thoughts: I like to have certain files on all my cards and with this card there is finally enough room for everything. I was using 2 8GB Adata cards before and it is such an inconvenience to switch cards that I had to have this. I still carry a 4GB non-SDHC card to work in older computers.

Works so far...
Pros: I bought this a week ago for my new Panasonic hdc-sd5 HD camcorder. It has had no problems keeping up with AVCHD video, I am happy so far.
Cons: None yet.
