Excellent for XMP enabled motherboards
Pros: Dropped right into my Gigabyte motherboard with Intel's x58 chipset. XMP read the clock timings, didn't have to do a thing extra.
Cons: The heatsinks are tall, might interfere with a very large CPU cooler, depending on the motherboard.

Too bad...
Pros: For the six hours it was working, I was very happy.
Cons: Six hours after installing the memory, one of the sticks went bad. Then I wasn't very happy. RMA time.
Other Thoughts: I love Patriot USB memory sticks which is why I gave this RAM a chance in the first place. Too bad it didn't work out. In the past I always bought Kingston memory for my computers, guess I should stick with them. Darn rebate swayed me.

Very good, nice price
Pros: Price Patriot warranty low latency XMP profile Heat sinks are attached well, do their job
Cons: None at all
Other Thoughts: So far so good. I went with Patriot after using Ultra DDR2 overclocking memory for years, which is made by Patriot and Elixer, and never had a problem. The O/C tests on this model Viper RAM were only slightly lower than Crucials and in some configurations were better because of the low timings. The heat spreaders on mine were nice and tight. Ran Prime for a bit to test the heat and they remained nice and cool. On an i7 build with no XMP profile, they booted right at at the default 1.5v at 7-7-7-20, they worked at the same low latency without upping the DRAM voltage on a p6T6 WS Revolution board.Since I knew my board worked with many Patriot 6gig kits, I went with them.
I previously dealt with Patriot with some Ultra DDR2 sticks I have in another build. I had some boot issues when trying to use the DIMMS in certain slots, only worked when specific DIMMS were in a specific slot/bank. Patriot took the memory back, gave me 4 sticks that were from the same batch and worked great.

Pros: Its memory and it works as expected. No installation issues. It looks good
Cons: The heat spreaders are just held on with double sided tape and 2 of the 6 were coming off when my package arrived.

They work
Pros: Any decent motherboard can recognize the auto-config data on these things.
Cons: heat spreader is a bit cheesy.
Other Thoughts: I put these in an ASRock X58 Extreme mobo and it recognized the timing settings needed automatically. If you have anything other than a Core i7 processor, you probably shouldn't bother with DDR3. Even the Core 2 still relies on the old Frontside Bus, which cannot take advantage of the bandwidth of a lot of DDR2, let alone DDR3. So for Core i7, go for these, Core 2, stick to DDR2 and save some money.

Got'em going
Pros: Fast memory,,worked out of the box with my X-58.
Cons: LL series need some "help" in BIOS, i.e. must adjust to 1333 and change the CAS,RAS etc. Got mine to 7-7-7-20 @ 1.34Mhz, running super duper.
Other Thoughts: Can't go wrong with this memory.

Good stuff
Pros: Absolutely no problems, through them in my new P6T Deluxe V2 and had my system cruising in no time flat. Will be picking up another set in a few months when 7 comes out.
Cons: Nothing wrong so far.
Other Thoughts: Pick up a set or two. I would have gone with the 4 gig sticks but they are crazy expensive right now.

Works Great
Pros: These sticks of RAM work very well. I am pleased with their performance.
Cons: None I've noticed.
Other Thoughts: I running two set of this RAM for a total of 12GB's on my MSI X58 Pro-E motherboard. I am not overclocking them and haven't tried. The motherboard detected these sticks with ease and set them to their fastest XMP setting automatically.

DOA (damaged on arrival)
Pros: Reviews here and elsewhere all show lots of promise.
Cons: Upon opening the box, one stick of the three was physically damaged. The broken one was not seated properly inside the plastic packaging -- it appears to have been an error on the part of the manufacturer at the time of packaging and not an issue caused during shipping -- as a result of improperly positioning it, the heat shield on one side has broken off on one stick that is overlapping/grinding into the stick above it. Quality control missed this one.
Other Thoughts: I've put my faith in buying from newegg because they tend to handle unfortunate situations like this expediently -- I really need a replacement right away and I'm hoping they come through for me.
Manufacturer Response:Dear Valued Customer, Thank you for supporting our products. I am sorry for the issues you are having. Please contact our technical support team at support@patriotmem.com to find a solution for this matter. Thank you for choosing Patriot Memory Best regards, Valentine Lan Technical Support

Great RAM
Pros: Not really much to say here. Cheap, works as advertised, installed easily, no issues in Windows 7 64-bit. The price is right.
Cons: None that I can think of.
Other Thoughts: Buy this RAM, you won't be disappointed.

great heatsinks
Pros: been runnin for 3 days at 9-9-9-24 1600mhz at 1.64volt. heatsinks look cool under blue uv light and are very functional. planning on running memtest but i expect good results. i have not received any BSOD. 3 2gig sticks for 105$ is a great price.
Cons: none, if i receive my 25$ rebate in timely manner
Other Thoughts: i owned dual channel ddr2 patriot mem 800mhz for 3 month before purchasing this for my new i7. that mem worked great. just make sure u set the correct volt of 1.64-1.65 for this mem

Worked fine for me
Pros: All 6 gigs work. Timings seem tight, but I'm still running tests.
Cons: Sticks look kind of ugly. I would have preferred silver or dark blue.
Other Thoughts: I put a patriot PEVF memory cooler over them, and it looks nice. The LED's from the fans hide the natural color of board, and put a cool glow on my Vigor Monsoon III's fan.

Garbage.
Pros: 2 working sticks, which i thought of sticking with, although i payed for 6GB
Cons: 1 2GB stick was Non-functional, and the heatsinks fall off like they are attatched with some sort of oil, getting them in the socket is a joke. I sent them back within a day of use, although the functional sticks were great, hopefully my replacements are good. I thought it could be a bios problem for awhile but i think i've ruled that out. Either steer clear or take your chances.
Manufacturer Response:Dear Loderunner, We are sorry for the inconvenience that these modules may have caused you. All of our modules are 100% system tested prior to leaving our facility. Please return this kit back to us and we will be happy to get a replacement back to you ASAP. Please contact us at support@patriotmem.com. With Regards, Ramguy
