good memory
Pros: Does what it should. Good price, can't go wrong with it. Got it becouse of the price. Work the first time.
Cons: Don't like OCZ much and had bad experiance on desktop side, but give it a chance with this memory becouse of the price. No issues so far.
Other Thoughts: Install it on Toshiba AMD laptop. Vista like it and it runs little faster.

great
Pros: this is a great module that works well with my eee 900
Cons: the ocz 800mghz 2 gig module did not work with this model eee, even though it came with an 800 half-gig module
Other Thoughts: my eee booted every other time after i added an ocz 32 gig ssd, this 667 2 gig module fixed the issue, i cant explain it but i am very happy and love ocz and the way my little eee handles now, it is better than i expected for what i paid

solid ram
Pros: bought this for an asus 1005ha, works perfectly. It's memory- is there much more to say about it?
Cons: nothing.
Other Thoughts: after anand's review of the ocz vertex drives and his description of what they did to make their ssd as good as they could, i've bought all ocz memory. It has all worked great.

Get it only if it's on sale
Pros: -Works with all netbooks -Increases performance (like all other memory)
Cons: -Not worth the $26 price (better to get kingston hyper x low latency ram for the same price)
Other Thoughts: Newegg DHL shipping sucks very very slow! Bought this ram on sale for $22 shipped Put it in my dell mini 9 very easy to install

EASY TO INSTALL
Pros: As in a previous review I installed this in my new Asus PC 904HA (which is great). Installation took all but 30 seconds...there was a "technical update" (E4190) enclosed in the box for just this type of upgrade...for your own sanity DO NOT FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS! I wasted a great deal of time trying to do their 1,2,3 steps...did not work. Just put the memory card in, when I rebooted the BIOS screen displayed by itself and all I had to do was press "F10" simple....great inexpensive upgrade!
Cons: NONE.
Other Thoughts: Make sure the memory card is completely in or the netbook will not re-boot....I learned this the hard way. Price is amazing compared to BEST BUY!

HP replacement
Pros: great value for the memory card, good performance. It is being used on an HP laptop to replace the old memory that burned out (don't ask). I'm very satisfied.
Cons: none that i think of...

Great stuff...
Pros: Does exactly what it is supposed to do and was recognized after I allowed the bios to be updated.
Cons: None so far, Computer runs substantially faster.
Other Thoughts: Installed this ram into an Asus 904HA netbook. Once installed I pressed f2 repeatedly to disable the Boot booster and access the bios. Once in the bios it instantly recognized the change to the ram and I pressed f10 to save these settings and then XP booted showing the new ram. If you don't do this with Asus Netbook computers it will not recognize the ram and either will boot still showing 1gig or wont boot at all.

Do NOT use free shipng (DHL)
Pros: From a previous purchases I 'd have to say it's good memory. Just wouldn't know about THIS purchases since I haven't got it yet... 8 days and counting
Cons: On this "product" none.
Other Thoughts: Extremely disappointed with Newegg's new use of DHL for free shipping. It's now been EIGHT days since I ordered and I STILL have not gotten it. The tracking number didn't even work until the 5th day! Newegg's quick shipping has ALWAYS been their signature but they'll quickly loose all the years of respect if they continue down this path.

Pros: easy install into eeepc 904HA. As with my desktop some apps are faster some the same, i.e. some apps take advantage of the increased memory to accelerate themselves others don't.

A+
Pros: Great RAM. I never bought OCZ before, but i had heard it was pretty good. It installed very easily, and it's been amazing thus far. Installed it on my ASUS z96JS and i now have 3GB. I'm probably only going to buy OCZ for now on, low price, and high quality.

great ram
Pros: very good ram, took 30 seconds to install, for 25 bux vs. best buy's 140 dollar equivalent you cant beat it.
Cons: packaging is poor, nothing but a plastic case and the ram isnt held in place by anything.
Other Thoughts: works great in my eee 1000hd, for those that get a black screen upon putting the ram in try rebooting a few times and restoring your default bios, or you put the ram in wrong. Not sure a perfect fix but one of those should work.

No complaints
Pros: I had no problems installing it and having the computer see all of the ram. Windows can see only 3.5GB for me because of my video card. I feel the difference between 2 & 4 gb and if you're pretty much anywhere near a multitasker, go for the 4GB. I was referred to OCZ by a friend and the online reviews confirm that its reliable and defly a bang for the buck.
Cons: none

Good Memory - Bad Rebate Program
Pros: Faster memory than the other chips in this category. Installed and working without any issues. Finally able to run Virtual machines on my laptop without any issues. As usual New Egg Rocks! Arrived quickly and extremely well packaged.
Cons: None with the product... Mail in rebate issues.
Other Thoughts: Beware the OCZ Mail in rebate.. This is the second time that they found some reason to reject a rebate. Now they have the original UPC code and there is no way to get the promised refund. When dealing with any of these rebates buy them with the understanding that you will probably not receive the mail in rebate.
Manufacturer Response:Hello, we are sorry for your rebate issues. We use a 3rd party rebate house and they can make mistakes. Please post in the rebate section of our support forums at the link below for assistance. Mention that you were sent by the OCZ rep at Newegg. We will take care of you. Thank you

Great product / silly rebate
Pros: Great RAM for the money. Works immediately on my Acer Extensa 5420. I wonder if those where it didn not work for them had the RAM plugged in properly. When I first installed my RAM, it was not in properly and I got the black screen also. I reinstalled to make sure the 2 pieces were in their slot CORRECTLY and it worked perfect. I now have the full 4 GB.
Cons: Silly rebate that is not clear on the home page. I purchased 2 of these so I could move up to 4 GM, but after reading the rebate, it says the rebate is only good on 1??? WEIRD.

Worked First time
Pros: Worked first time in Vaio SZ120P, now showing 3gb (though Sony state max 2gb). Fast processing by Newegg, ordered 29th Sep and received 2nd Oct.
Cons: Cant argue with shipping costs (it was free) but as stated by other reviewers it is part handled by UPS and handed to USPS for local delivery. Question the safety of such a small (and delicate) item being sent in a 15"x12" envelope with no additional padding and left with USPS to crush into a regular sized mailbox. It survived this time but is an accident waiting to happen (and we would have to pay to send back the bits).
Other Thoughts: Send it in an appropriately sized envelope with additional wrap or preferably a small box (like crucial). Would happily pay an extra $2 for 'free' shipping in sturdier packing for items like this.

Didn't work for me either
Pros: I know that OCZ makes good *desktop* memory. This is my first foray into notebook memory.
Cons: Installed in my Asus Eee PC 1000H. Nothing happened. Black screen. Replaced with a 2GB stick of Ad@t@ memory and it booted right up and has worked perfectly ever since.
Other Thoughts: In a review below mine, OCZ said to adjust BIOS setting. However, the machine doesn't even display a BIOS screen... it doesn't even *try* to boot with this memory installed. :-(
Manufacturer Response:Hello, we are sorry that you had a problem. We always suggest that you reset your BIOS (or CMOS) to clear out old SPD data that will prevent booting. Please consult your manual for the proper procedure (could be a recessed button to push?). Please visit our support forums at the link below for additional info and help. Thank you

Didn;t work for me.
Pros: Quick install on my 1000H. Rebate.
Cons: It just don't work. Just get a black screen with no boot after install. Re install stock ram and 1000H works just fine.
Other Thoughts: Ouch!
Manufacturer Response:Hello, please try resetting your BIOS (CMOS) per your manual. Often that's all it takes to be able to boot. Old SPD data can conflict with the new memory and cause issues. Please visit our support forums at the link below for more info. Thank you

Used in Eee PC 1000H
Pros: Cheap upgrade, excellent performance.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: @ the reviewer who thought it runs hot, I haven't noticed this problem in the Eee PC. I was a bit concerned about the temp after reading that review but I have not noticed a difference at all. I have it dual booting Vista and XP Pro and the 2GB really makes a difference, especially in Vista (no surprise there though). I actually like Vista on this Eee PC; after disabling UAC it is more or less like Windows XP and I love the mobile features.

Pros: I got 4 sticks, 2 for my personal laptop and 2 for a customer of mine. Both laptops were running x64 Vista. Preformance was great post-install. Shipping was fast and packing was almost too good. (Darn peanuts)
Cons: Got a call from my customer saying she though her laptop ran a little warmer, mine did as well. I wouldn't reccomend this for one of the super-mini laptops as they probably wouldn't be able to handle the extra heat.
Other Thoughts: It only takes 4GB of ram and an x64 platform to make vista run decent!!!

Good stuff!
Pros: Fast delivery (as usual) from Newegg. This memory popped right in to my new Asus 1000h without a hitch.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: For this ASUS 1000H: From a cold start, keep hitting F2 until theBIOS screen appears. You will see BIOS recognizes the 2 gig Hit F10 to save and exit You should now see 2 gig is activated.

Egg Saver shipping is terrible
Pros: FYI my Overall rating applies only to the hardware itself. I'm hoping to use this in my fancy new Asus EEE 1000H. I presume it should work as described, IF IT WOULD EVER GET HERE!!!!
Cons: Had I realized this shipment was going to be placed in the hands of the Sith ... er .... DHL, I would have bought something slightly more expensive to get decent shipping via UPS.
Other Thoughts: EVERYTHING I order from work or home (which is a ton!) that ships from the Newegg TN location ALWAYS arrives the next day after the actual shipping. This item is headed to me from the TN location, however thanks to DHL I have not a clue when or where it is. I have had a useless tracking number for 3 days now, going on four. Newegg tells me also that DHL will hand off to USPS!?! Are you people nuts!!! LOL!! USPS track record ain't all that much better. I guess we all have to finally have one bad order at some point. I was doing so well through Newegg too. Last time I opt for the free shipping item.

Excellent Ram Upgrade for PC1000H
Pros: Easy installation on eee PC1000H. Would highly recommend, system recognized 2gb without any problem. Best to press F2 while booting up to view update in bios and then save. Battery life is not affected by additional ram. Gets over 4 hours on battery power, wifi on with sound watching slingbox.
Cons: Not aware of any.
Other Thoughts: Almost didn't purchase because two reviews stated that after installing ram their laptops ran hot. This is NOT my experience on my eee pc1000h, it runs the same as before. Although I was worried about heat, I decided to purchase since I was tempted by the rebate. Glad I did!

OCZ service is awesome
Pros: The memory definitely provided my HP dv9000 a boost in performance. So far it has been great and very stable. I highly recommend OCZ. Great brand at a great price.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: Their customer service is great. I would buy again just because of their customer service. I got my rebate also. They were quick to acknowledge it and send out the rebate check.

What a difference!
Pros: Wow! What a difference! I replaced the two 1GB, DDR2, 667MHz 2 Dimm in my Dell XPS M1530 with two of these and I couldn't be any happier. The difference is night and day, and I went from Vista taking up 3/4 of my memory down to about 1/4. I only booted up the laptop once before making the swap, but you could really tell a difference, and I would recommend these to anyone! Definitely worth the money.
Cons: Laptop runs a little hot, but nothing a chill pad cannot take care of in my opinion.
Other Thoughts: Higly recommend to anyone. Special thanks to Kaddy and Minke for recommending OCZ products!

Works perfectly!
Pros: Fast. Cheap. I have 2 of them in my new MacBook Pro - I love having 4 GB of memory!
Cons: None, except the mail-in rebate is kind of annoying.
Other Thoughts: My MacBook Pro is running great with both of these sticks of RAM. I can't believe how inexpensive this memory is!

OCZ 2 GIG Ram
Pros: Immediate recognition of Ram on my HP dv9500z.Definite improvement. Next step is to go 64bit OS and install another Gig of ram. Considering what HP wants for this upgrade, Newegg is only way to go.
Cons: NONE

lenovo pain
Pros: Great item. Gives a real boost to Vista.
Cons: Little hot, but that's kinda to be expected.
Other Thoughts: The 1GB stick that came with my Lenovo didn't like this addition and started throwing video driver errors for some reason, but it became the perfect excuse to remove the Lenovo 1GB stick and get a second 2GB.

Pros: Plenty fast, good bang for your buck, price seems to drop regularly.
Cons: Does seem to run hot, ended up using a cooling pad to keep my laptop running smoothly.
Other Thoughts: The 4GB deal is misunderstood by many people. Go Google it people. There are plenty of easy to understand explanations out there. It doesn't hurt to have 4GB but you're not really getting the value for your dollar on the last gig.

Solid memory
Pros: 2GB module, reasonably fast for the price.
Cons: Runs rather hot on my legs... could be my own problem tho..
Other Thoughts: Laptop with vista runs much better with extra ram

Good Value for the money
Pros: Good value for the money. Performs well, no errors under Memtest loops.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: For the guy who wrote "You do not need 64 bit to OS utilize 4GB." This is not true. Due to a memory hole for I/O just above 3GB (around 3.12GB according to MS), you will not address memory above 3GB with a 32-bit Windows.

4GB Facts
Pros: 32bit Vista will not use all 4GB of RAM. It does not matter what the BIOS recognizes. The 32bit OS has a 4GB addressable memory range. Some of that addressable range is utilized by hardware. That is why it varies as to what Vista recognizes (3GB-3.5GB). If a portion of the addressable range is assigned to hardware, the portion of RAM that would use that range is not available.
Cons: All these "high" understanding closet experts that throw there two bits in here and miss guide others cracks me up. That is why you must beware of reviewers comments.
Other Thoughts: Peace Out!

Excellent RAM for the Money
Pros: Excellent RAM for the money. Works flawlessly. Passed memtest loops with no problems.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: The previous post is mistaken about the ability of a 32-bit OS to address 4GB of RAM Stating if it is seen in BIOS Windows can use it. Not so. There is a memory hole in the map for the IO making only the bottom 3GB available.
By Microsofts own admission they say 3.12GB so I won't split hairs there.

You do not need 64 bit to OS utilize 4GB
Pros: For the guy who wrote that this will only be recognized by a 64 bit system. Any laptop that is designed to accept 4GB of memory will accept the full 4GB and will use the 4th GB when needed even though Windows XP & Vista will only show 3GB when you check system information. That is why you see it recognized by your bios. As long as your bios recognizes it Windows will access all of it when needed.
Cons: none

Pros: well packaged.
Cons: memtest showed errors when running alongside dell stock 1gb ram in inspiron 1420.
Other Thoughts: restocking fee and return shipping are an expensive way to learn that ram will not work in your laptop ... ocz support on their website does not seem to have a way for the "average" user to check compatibility before purchase.
Manufacturer Response:Hello, we are sorry for the problem. We do our best to insure compatibility with all laptops. The likely issue was mixing this module with your Dell memory. Most often this does work, as we have many customers that have had great success doing so. Dell uses several OEM's and occasionally a problem will occur. Thanks

Pros: Popped it in and vista recognized it right away. Now showing 3gb (2gb + 1gb). Games now run smooth and I can even have multiple programs opened in the background.
Cons: I should have ordered two.
Other Thoughts: Take advantage of the deal while it lasts.

Excellent product
Pros: I am using this OCZ 2GB product in my new Acer 3690 laptop, acquired the same day on Newegg. Needless to say you need this much RAM to run Vista.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Did not work as a second memory module next to the OEM 512MB stick. Not a big loss however, since I removed the OEM memory right away and Acer Aspire 3690 booted right away.

disappointing
Pros: -
Cons: Bought two of these. Both tested with errors in memtest86. Returning.
Manufacturer Response:Hello, when 2 modules give errors, this would indicate a compatibility issue or that your system did not support these modules. For tech support or more information please see our support forums at the link below. Sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you.

Best Deal
Pros: I have done alot of reviewing on OCZ and you really cant ask for more. I got mine 4 days ago when it was $xx with rebate so i got myself 2 for my Dell xps m1710. This makes vista run so smooth and everything loads up very fast esp in games. I can run F.E.A.R and a bunch of other programs in the backround with no slowdown. Id buy before price goes up any more.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: All i need now is Vista 64-bit to take advatage of all 4gb

It's great
Pros: Low Cost, High Quality. Better than paying $$$ to Laptop makers to configure your laptop with more memory.
No Metal HS means you will be able to fit 2DIMMs in your laptop without worry.
Cons: None that I can think of.
Other Thoughts: RAM prices are as low as they are going to be because of the Vista bust. It's only going to go up in price.

Good price (when i bought it)
Pros: Everything, bought at best price, 2GB capacity leaves room for sill greater upgrades, seamless compatibility with my AMD Turion and VISTA, makes my laptop enjoyable to work on now (and light scale gaming)
Cons: i came back to buy another and the price wnt up 10$.. ill wait for it to drop back to get another
Other Thoughts: dont understand the price difference.. If you see good price, buy as many as you can use because the price jumped 3 days after i bought it..

Excellent Choice for RAM
Pros: Tested two sticks in a HP DV8000t(xp pro) and DV9500T(vista Business), both recognized 3 gigs since that is maximum recognized by 32-bit Windows.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: Excellent RAM choice to upgrade to 3 gigs. Hopefully the price will keep coming down.

FYI: 32 bit Win OS + 4gig = can't be done
Pros: adds 2gb to a single slot. Using a 2gb and a 512mb (was in the notbook).
Cons: none if you plan to upgrade to a 64 bit Microsoft OS one day. Otherwise you are better off with 2x 1gb chips.
Other Thoughts: This is for everyone including the guy who reviewed this product.
You cannot use 4gb of RAM with the 32 bit versions of Windows XP or Vista. Your BIOS will show 4gb but will not be able to utilize all 4gb once the OS boots up (if it doesn't blue screen).

didn't work
Pros: Unknown.
Cons: The two chips were recognized in BIOS but when XP loaded, there was no video output in Acer Aspire 9805. Also tested in HP Pavilion dv6000, and Vista Home 32-bit blue-screened during boot.
Other Thoughts: The chips did work one at a time.
