Fast and relatively inexpensive
Pros: As fast as the "fast" 4GB SSD that came with the Asus 901 XP. The enormous additional space it provides allows installation of all of the programs I ever use and eliminates the need for all the cleaning and optimizing "work-around" programs provided by Asus to cope with the original severe space limitations of the 4GB 901 SSD.
Cons: Has three individually controlled LEDs. I can't imagine an application where they'd be necessary or even visible... certainly not in a netbook. I doubt they use much power but still...
It'd be nice (for GHOSTing) if it came with a USB tether to connect it to a desktop directly.
Other Thoughts: The FPM32GRSE is as fast as the small 4GB SSD that came in my Asus 901. The 901 XP comes with two SSD, one "fast" 4GB which soldered to the board and a second replaceable slow 8GB in the PCIE ZIF slot (which the FPM32GRSE replaces). The FPM32GRSE may be slightly faster than the fast 4GB SSD; it took 35sec to shutdown originally and takes 30sec with the FPM32GRSE.
I replaced the XP Home version with XP professional. I disabled the primary 4GB SSD prior to installation following the suggestion from a website. This may have been necessary if installing the XP Home version that came with the 901 but not if use an OEM version of XP. It turns out that after the 4GB SSD is disabled, it's extremely difficult to re-enable.
The Atom processor is a nice little CPU but it's not a real speed demon. It makes little sense to drop a bundle on super-fast SSD unless you're certain that it's the bottle neck.

great for netbooks
Pros: great replacement for netbooks with a stock small ssd. I recently purchased an Asus EEE pc 900a and i could not live with the stock 4 gig drive. this runs faster than the basic 4 gig ssd it comes with. easy installation.
this thing shuts up and turns on in less than a minute. i have it in a dual boot setup and both xp and eeebuntu boots up in less than a minute. xp goes to sleep in half a second, which is really good for portability
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: there is another replacement hard drive from runcore with faster r/rw speeds, but at this price i think this is the better option.

Must have for eee-pc 901
Pros: Took about 5 minutes to install. Recognized right away, tweaked the bios, installed XP and good to go. Reinstalled Office 2007, Skype, etc. and runs like a champ. The real test was reinstalling SlingPlayer; previously the video was so choppy it was unwatchable, even with a tiny window. Now I'm streaming full screen via wireless and it's like watching TV.
Cons: None so far. Maybe runs a little hotter and haven't had it long enough to see if battery life is noticeably shorter, but increased performance and no worries about running out of space make it well worth it.
Other Thoughts: Wish I would have done this months ago! This just extended the life of this machine by many months.

A Good Value for the Original ASUS Netbook
Pros: This model is intended for the ASUS S101, but works great in my original EeePC 900 netbook. It installs easily as long as you are careful not to lose the 2 small screws that hold the original SSD down.
Cons: Seems to run hotter than the original 12gb SSD, but not to a level of real concern.
Other Thoughts: There are Super-Talent SSD devices for the ASUS netbooks that are faster, but this model is the best value for an older netbook. It gets a Windows 7 performance rating of 5.9 which compares well to many standard SATA hard drives.
BTW - I set this SSD as drive C: and installed Windows 7 Home Premium on it; I used the hard wired 4gb SSD in the Eee 900 to dual boot Ubuntu 9.04. Great results with both!

Definite improvement
Pros: Pre-formatted NTFS, transfer speeds per spec, very affordable replacement for slower/lower capacity SSDs
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: This card went into my ASUS EeePC 1000 to replace the original 8G SSD. My warranty was over so it was time to take it apart :-)
While this is not the fastest replacement I could have purchased, it is noticably faster than the original 8G. I now dual boot W7 and Linux and there is plenty of space. The original (slow) 32G is still my data drive and is fast enough for my uses.
I am very satisfied with this card.
As others have noted, BIOS must be 0913 or higher to use SATA cards as replacement -- for either SSD -- in this netbook.
NOTE: The 8G is inside on the back of the mobo. Teardown of the EeePC is very easy but technical. The original 8G is a "shorty", the new card is normal length. There is plenty of room but the screw mounts for the 8G will not line up. I secured the new card by soldering on new screw mounts. Some have used double-sided foam or electrical tape, fishing line, etc. to secure the card.

Awesome
Pros: Really really fast. I have a Asus Eee Pc and it with the SSD is way faster then my P4 desktop. I did upgrade the ram to 2gb... but a netbook faster then a desktop is just phenomenal.
Cons: Price obviously. Small size. Give it 3 or 4 years though and you'll be able to get a TB for like a hundred dollars.
Other Thoughts: It is expensive, but its well worth it

Great Product
Pros: Great drive, easy to install, and quiet. A big upgrade over the slow 4gb SSD that came with my eee PC. I would recommend this drive to friends

No problems
Pros: Was already NTFS formatted. Just replaced the original 4/16 SSD in my eeepc 900 W017 (celeron) and installed XP sp2 from CD, then ASUS drivers from ASUS CD. Runs faster than my Vista laptop. Still only 25% of drive used with all apps I need.
Cons: Runs a bit hotter, and crashes if you connector disconnect AC power while running.
Other Thoughts: Even video is good on most hulu sites.

Works with my EeePC 1000
Pros: Very good replacement for the slower drive in my Eee PC 1000. You have to update the BIOS to get it to work with SATA. Immediately noticed the difference and installed Windows 7. Runs that and office 2007 great! Windows reports that my drive is fast enough that ReadyBoost is disabled because it won't make any noticable difference. Very easy to install.
Cons: None to my knowledge.
Other Thoughts: Makes my netbook a lot more useful. now if i could only replace the non-standard size 8 GB drive.

So far so good
Pros: It works!!! No problem installing it, no problem loading OS and software. Price wasn't too bad. For what I need it for, I have plenty of space.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Asus EEE PC900A 32GB SSD 2GB RAM Ubuntu Netbook Remix

Made my EEE useable
Pros: My 1000H SSD EEE PC will run various Linuxes fine, but every time I put any Windows product on it (XP, Vista, 7) it would slow to a crawl. This is an inexpensive upgrade that makes the unit useable with Windows. I won't be modelling seismic tremors on it, but it is now perfect as a netbook. I would estimate boot and loading times are about 4 times faster than before.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: There are faster and more expensive SSD devices for the EEE, if you need acceptable this is it.

pretty decent
Pros: about the same size as original 4G disk faster than original disk LEDs on board show status!
Cons: probably uses more power than original (expected with more chips) Unpredictable performance (somewhat expected with ssd. I got anywhere from 20MB/sec write to 55MB/sec writes, and 55MB/sec read to 90MB/sec read) No way, other than through mini pcie, to copy data to it (need to get an external adapter for these someday!) LEDs are hidden behind the netbook's access door :-(
Other Thoughts: I replaced my 4G in my eeePC 900A. At first I thought I had a bad one as I was using DamnSmallLinux to do the file transfer of my eeebuntu install (using an external USB hard drive), but turned out a Linux 2.4 kernel apparently doesn't handle SATA/ssd properly. It ended up reporting bad sectors everywhere and I thought I had killed the disk or got a bad one. However, switching over to a more recent kernel/boot disk (2.6) I was able to copy over the old install and run just fine.

Very nice upgrade
Pros: Got this to upgrade Asus eeePC 900A. Worked like a charm. Got everything up and running quickly. Installation no more difficult than installing memory.
Cons: You will need a tiny screw driver to get to the 2 screws. I have one but getting the screws in were only a minor annoyance.
Other Thoughts: You will have to read up on installing an operating system once you switch it out. I didn't like the xandros os that came with the system. So I got Ubuntu NR [Netbook Remix] on a flash drive and installed it. It runs like a dream. It's a worthy investment.

Pros: Popped this guy into my EeePC 900A and installed Windows 7 on it. Flawless.
Cons: None. It boots quickly, loads programs quickly, and eats the stock SSD alive in terms of performance.
Other Thoughts: I was wary about buying some random SSD without reading any real reviews (no, the ones on here don't count) but after using it for a few months I have no regrets. No noticeable degradation in speed over the months either.

Fantastic
Pros: Easy to install (watch the two little screws). Fast. Lots of storage. Makes the 900 like a new machine.
Cons: Hard to transfer OS from old drive. Little screws tend to pop out when loose -- don't try to take them out... just leave them in the holes and pull the card out. Then remove the screws away from the PC. I paid $129 for the CPU so this is nearly doubling my costs but worth it.
Other Thoughts: I set up about 22G for EEEBuntu, 2G swap (yeah flash swap (shudder0, and about 5 or 6GB for a minimal XP install. Nice to be able to install whatever you want.

A Big Help
Pros: Good Price for the storage and pretty good Read/Write speeds.
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: I purchased a eee PC 901 on the cheap for my wife. It had the Xandros and a 4gb SSD. It was slow! I installed this guy and windows 7 and the little guy runs quickly and without any problems. This drive really sped up the entire system from the standard drive.

Wow
Pros: Turns your eee pc into a completely different computer.
Cons: Expense
Other Thoughts: This is what the eee pc should have come with from the factory. I have the 4GB SSD model, and I cannot tell you how absolutely miserable it was trying to run XP. The SSD that is included is so slow that you will think the system has locked up, when in fact it is just taking 30 seconds+ to simply respond. Miserable. This SSD and 2GB DDR2 upgrade made an unusable computer into a blazing fast little pocket rocket that has no lag, no pausing, and instantaneous response to input. It is so much better it is honestly difficult to explain. Just get it.

Excellent little SSD
Pros: Made my brick of an ASUS EEEPC 900 with a super slow 16gig SSD a very useful & blazing fast machine!
Cons: No USB for operating system transfer from old drive but I knew this going into it and I wanted to load fresh copies of XP pro & EEEbuntu.
Other Thoughts: ATTO testing
90 mbps read/50 mbps write as described. If you do not need the runcore performance this is a great and cheaper alternative.

Makes your eeePC usable
Pros: -Fast enough -Good enough capacity -Reasonable price -Easy install
Cons: -Could be a tad faster
Other Thoughts: As far as I understand, this is not a PCIE SSD, it is SATA configured to fit into a PCIE slot. This means it will only work on ASUS eeePC's. If that's what you've got, then this drive is for you. Made my eeePC 4g actually useful instead of just cute.

Excellent HDD for Asus eee 900A
Pros: 32 GB is big enough for a Windows 7 partition and an Ubuntu eee partition, plus extra for storage space. Extremely fast boot times! Reasonable price for SSD
Cons: None that are not common to all other SSD drives
Other Thoughts: Between this and a 2 gig ram upgrade, my Asus eee 900A is stinkin' awesome. I had no configuration issues with this drive at all.

Awesome upgrade for Eee 901
Pros: Quite fast vs 4GB SSD stock in Eee 901/XP. I measured 89.3MB/s read, 51.5MB/s write for the Talent and 34.3MB/s read, 27.5MB/s write for the 4GB stock. No more random pauses due to the quirky ASUS 4GB SSD! Cold boot into XP and connected to Wifi in about 40 seconds from power button. Hibernation can be enabled!
Cons: Pick only two: Cheap, big, fast.
Other Thoughts: This paired with 2GB of DDR2 turn an already great little computer into a downright awesome little computer.

Size should be included in specs
Pros: I gave it 5 eggs, but I can't even test it. (no option to reserve judgement)
Cons: More about Newegg's listing for this item: size of the card isn't shown. Apparently there isn't a standard for how long mini-PCIe devices are? I bought this for a OCZ Neutrino, it doesn't fit. And it looked so short in the picture! :-)
Other Thoughts: For reference, it must be 2.5" long, not including the connector. The screw holes on this OCZ are at about 2" and the SIM slot gets in the way beyond that.

Works with Eee PC 900 (Linux)
Pros: Faster than the hard drive that came with the Eee PC, easy to install. Working with XP installed. No problems.
Cons: Price.
Other Thoughts: Had to update the BIOS on the Asus Eee PC 900 (Linux Version) for it to boot properly. Once I did that, it works perfectly. Got rid of Linux, installed XP. No problems.

Solid State Warp Drive
Pros: Speed of this unit brings an EeePC into the pocket powerhouse arena. Price and availability beats the RunCore version hands down. I took a near useless Best Buy stripped model 900A with only the dead slow 4gb OEM SSD and converted it to a dual boot XPpro SP3 and Eeebuntu 2.0 base custom power toy.
Cons: Not a real con, but some very hardcore Eee modder types may complain that this SSD does not have the mini USB2 connector which would allow pre-imaging of the SSD.
Other Thoughts: Only down side is Super Talent has not been able to scale up this performance/price ratio to the larger SSD cards - yet.

Very necessary upgrade!
Pros: Far exceeds the read/write rates in the ssd's included in my eee 1000. Now I don't get any of those horrible lag spikes induced entirely by the slowness of the default ssd. Also is quite power efficient, fast like the hdd in comparable netbooks, but with all of the advantages a ssd has. Shock proof, and great battery life as well!
Cons: None!
Other Thoughts: This upgrade is a must if you have any eee pc >= 900 series with a solid state disk, makes all the difference in the world. Sure is nice being able to run windows the way it was meant to be run on my eee pc now!

Did the Trick
Pros: Fast, reasonably priced and reliable performance.
Cons: Prices on SSD needs to be more reasonable in general, although this one is a relative bargain.
Other Thoughts: Installed in a linux EEE PC 900A that originally had only 4GB of slow ASUS storage. The performance difference is like night and day. This plus 2GB of fast ram turned a toy into a tool.

SSD that works perfectly
Pros: Functions as described. Good price point given the competition.
Cons: I still wish SSDs were faster.
Other Thoughts: Worked great on my Asus 900a. Dropped SSD in to replace the 4gb original. Installed XP Pro & Ubuntu for dual boot.
Highly recommend Super Talent.

Quick Little Drive
Pros: Quick drive. The 90/55 is a huge jump over the 40/15. An excellent upgrade to my Asus 900A, it boots fully into Ubuntu 9.04 in just over 30 seconds. Great buy and for the price can't really beat it.
Cons: None really...
Other Thoughts: I have definitely recommended getting this to a few other friends who also have EEE PCs.

Works on 901 with caveats
Pros: Great and fast little SSD
Makes an Asus 901 everything you had hoped it would be. No more pauses, and lightning fast response.
But not an upgrade for someone not familliar with the BIOS and OS.
Cons: On a Asus 901.
1) Besure to upgrade bios (I used 2000) ... this is a SATA connection, early bioses only supported PATA.
2) this becomes a 'secondary' controller, windows must have a primary ... or it won't boot. So you must keep the small 4GB drive as primary, although you can make this (super-tallent) the 'first' or C Drive.
3) Asus's restore disk simply uses ghost to push an image to 2 drives (C and D).... so you still have a bunch of work to get things off the D drive and onto C ... or D fills up.

Asus 900 Celeron Upgrade
Pros: Much faster system. Write speeds increased 4.2 times and read times increased 2.8 times. Starts up in 30 seconds. Hibernates in 15 seconds instead of 2 minutes. Web pages load faster than my Dell 600M. No more waiting for pages to load. This is a must upgrade. Easy install of SSD card. Used screwdriver which was magnetized to keep from loosing the screws. You must reload the Win XP due to the old SSD being a ATA interface, and this one is a SATA which gives the speed increase. Newegg delivered in 5 days with free shipping. The other sites never have them in stock.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Computer: Asus 900 (celeron, 2GB RAM, 16gb single SSD) Brenchmark Software: ATTO Disk Benchmark Ver. 2.34 Old 16gb SSD: Write 12301 Read 30925 New 32gb SSD: Write 51130 Read 89013

Amazing upgrade for EEE PC 900A
Pros: Incredibly easy to install in EEE PC 900A, remove 2 screws and drop it in. Super fast compared to the stock 4GB SSD. XP starts up in 28 seconds from completly off and shuts down in 9 seconds! Inexpensive compared to its main competitor. Convenience of ordering it from Newegg instead of internationally.
Cons: Absolutely none. Even came in an easy to open package, no plastic cutting required.
Other Thoughts: This SSD (and a 2GB memory upgrade-but mostly this) transformed my 900A into a screamingly fast perfect XP machine. It was either this or a new netbook, I am thrilled that I chose this route. I could not be happier with this product!

Got an Asus 900? Get this!
Pros: Fast! Got the Asus 900 after my satisfaction with the 700. the 700 ran fast, the 900 was a DOG. With this drive, it as fast as the 700. Boot time dropped from 3 minutes to 20 seconds.
Cons: Be aware, you will need the BIOS upgrade from Asus. Remember to rename the BIOS file to 900.ROM on your thumb drive, and follow the instructions to update the BIOS from ASUS. The transition is time consuming, but worth the effort.
Other Thoughts: This is my first time reviewing for New Egg after dozens of new egg purchases. This product kept me from tossing the Asus 900. There are sites concerning running Ghost on a thumb drive. I used the "HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool" to create a bootable Ghost thumb drive to image the current system, and restore it on the new drive. You will need about 3 to 4 gig of storage to ghost the system. I used the built in SD slot for the image, and a thumb drive for the bootable ghost program. You may have to set the boot order in the bios to boot from the thumb drive.

NOT FOR THE DELL MINI
Pros: faster than stock 25/45 (W/R) phison chip much more room to put more useless stuff on too.
Cons: price price price.. oh well. oh and THIS DOES NOT FIT DELL. READ info this "appears" to be made for asus models CHECK VENDOR and asus website BEFORE YOU BUY..
Other Thoughts: xp likes it vista is ok with it ubuntu cant get enough of it. this thing screams compared to stock with easy peasy1.1 gonna see about 9.04 jaunty. next. bought on other site for a few bucks less. YES other reviewer is right night and day diff. oh yeah bios update may be needed also. recommend USB floppy if you can find one "rom.xxx" must be only file on disk and upgrade is fairly automated.

It's fast
Pros: Took no time to swap this out with the 4gb SSD that came with my Eee 900 A. It's way faster than the stock 4gb drive, and took about 15 minutes to install windows xp pro via flash drive.
This is a must if you're planning to install XP on your netbook.
Cons: It's a shame the technology is still so expensive, would have liked a larger drive for the money (but it's totally worth it)

Night and Day
Pros: This was an excellent investment. I installed it in a EeePC 900, 8GB SSD was originally installed (W00t! sellout deal), and added 2 GB memory. Original 8GB SSD had a defect that caused it to essentially hang the system for a minute or so. No such issues with this drive, and the speed is phenomenal. The combination of drive and memory made my Eee run faster than I expected it to run.
Cons: None so far. I highly recommend this drive to anyone with a PCie SSD need.
Other Thoughts: Did I mention I highly recommend this drive? The drive speed is comparable to a friends 1000HEB.

speedy gonzalez
Pros: very fast, installed win 7 in 23 min on eee 900a with this ssd. start up is less than a minute, using crystalmark 2.2, 100mb sequential test read is 85.51 write is 48.79. pretty awesome. when i run the windows experience score i get 5.9 and thats also awesome. so now my 1.6 atom is the bottleneck. this drive is super.
Cons: it could always cost less, but i dont think complaining about that is gonna change anything.
Other Thoughts: makes mobile computing a pleasure.

Works Great!
Pros: This SSD installed very easily into my eeePC 900. Removed the tiny 4GB SSD and replaced with this one. Bios recognized it right away along with the 2GB RAM upgrade as well. Installed Win XP on this drive and after all is said and done, I still have 29 GB Free space on the drive! Boot time from Power On to Windows desktop is 28 secs! Definitely worth the $$$
Cons: None!
Other Thoughts: This is my first time working with the mini-PCI-E interface, as well as SSD storage. Everything went very smoothly. Absolutely no complaints!

Nice improvement for the Asus 901
Pros: With the latest bios from Asus, the drive is literally drop-in replacement (4 screws total!) and is detected right away. XP runs noticeable smoother, the extra space is nice. According to a simple benchmark tool (h3testw), the drive is almost 3x the speed of the internal 4GB and gets close to the pubished specs. Finally, the drive I received was Made in USA - a welcome suprise.
Cons: Price per GB is still in a different category then HDDs, but the 100% shock resistance is worth it for me in a netbook.
Other Thoughts: Will there be a 128GB?

Worked Perfect
Pros: Works. Simple to install. Asus Eee 900 4gb. Now its a 32gb.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Opened the panel. Removed the 2 screws. Pulled the old SSD. Inserted the new SSD. Replaced the screws. Closed the back pane. Rebooted from USB. Loaded OS

Great in a 900a
Pros: Works great in an Asus 900a with Windows XP. Nice and fast, no lock-ups. The change was like night and day over the stock 4 gig drive.
Cons: NONE
Other Thoughts: If you are using XP, align your partition with this and all other SSD's. A well known memory / ssd drive mfg forum has lots of info on this, and many other good tweeks for SSD's. Hint: their name is three letters.

Great SSD!
Pros: Works perfect in my Asus 900A (0804 BIOS). Non-hassle installation; plugged into the netbook and it works. Very fast SSD in comparison to the 4GB SSD that the netbook came with. HD Tach reports a 79MB sequential read. Boots to Win XP Pro SP2 desktop after passing POST in about 15 seconds with drivers installed.
Cons: Price is still a little on the high side. Packaging is very simple, could use more protection since it is a fragile $90 piece of flash memory (see pictures).
Other Thoughts: Asus 900A with Windows XP SP2 (NTFS). Actual space after partitioning and formatting with NTFS is 30.0GB.

Pros: Great! More storage space along with speed makes it a real improvement on the Eee PC 901. Recommend buying.......
Cons: No real cons but BIOS a little tricky getting set up but not bad and must have latest BIOS 1808 update.
Other Thoughts: A little pricey but worth it. Just disable the 4gb on board HDD in BIOS and install OS to the 32gb drive. The 4gb will still show up in windows for storage.

Amazing drive
Pros: Speed!! This drive is astoundingly fast, they should be in any netbook by default. I put mine in an eeePC 901 for anyone who's interested. Though I did need to flash the BIOS to the latest version
Cons: MLC tech
Other Thoughts: Does anyone know what the LED's on the PCB are for?

Make sure your laptop supports this module.
Pros: A definate improvement to the existing ssd in my 901. Atto disk bench confirmed the read/write speeds are exactly as advertised (90/55). The difference compared to the stock ssd is night and day. Performance is as good or better than most laptop hard disks.
Cons: Price per gigabyte, but this is no one's fault as the ssd market needs just a little more time to mature.
Other Thoughts: You will need a philips #0 screwdriver. As stated by previous reviewers, you will need to update your bios to version 1808 or later. I would purchase this product again. I would recomend this product to friends.
On a side note, there are eee fan sites (one in particular) that outlines installing windows from an sd card. It is fairly straight forward. I did so, without incident, drawing my source files from the copy of windows in the support cd that came with my eee.

WOW... !!
Pros: i bought the 32 gig patriot earlier in the year to replace the 4 gig in my 900a and it was a tad bit faster than the 4 gig original.. BUT THIS product just blows the patriot 32 gig out of the water.. faster load times and that 2 second freeze where the computer is non responsive is totally GONE.. it surfs faster windows 7 works on it.. you can even have hibernate on to practically never turn off your computer. Its great so over all windows 7 with office 07 google talk, utorrent with 2 gigs of ram on a 32gig asus eeepc 900a.. with 0 tweaking
Cons: it wasn't free and newegg didn't carry it till mid year..
Other Thoughts: with further os tweaking it would even be faster...

What it should have been...
Pros: Eee 901 - replaced 16G secondary drive. Works flawlessly. The lag that was there, is now gone. I expected a small performance boost but bought it for the speed. This unexpected bonus makes this worth every penny. If you can't afford this drive, the 16G is very reasonable, performance is similar.
I am using bios 1902 and the drive was picked up right off of the bat. Super easy upgrade. Lastly, Jaunty still needs some work, but I tested Alpha six with Ext4, combined with this hard drive, your Eee will perform faster than you'd have ever thought it could.
Cons: Thought this was cheaper the week before I ordered it...but it is still worth it.

SUPER ! in Asus eee PC 900
Pros: Turned a lagging slugish Asus eee PC 900 (16g) into a blazingly fast Win XP netbook. It's as fast now as any full size non-gaming notebook with a 5400rpm HD. Doubling the storage size from 16 to 32 is also very helpfull.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: Asus should be ashamed for not putting in a SSD HD with at least these speed performance spec's to start.

Pros: Works great as the main drive in my EeePC 901. Reasonably fast for the price.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: Disabled the 4GB SSD when installing XP, then enabled afterward. Works great for the boot disk. XP on 4GB just does not work.

Not for Dell Mini 9
Pros: Super Talent is good stuff. Performance exceeds their state specs slightly. Does 41.7 MB/sec read and 17.5 MB/sec write. Their specs say 40 and 15. Have one similar to this in a Dell Mini 9.
Cons: Will not work in a Dell Mini 9. You need a different model. Look for this 32 gb drive in model # FEM32GHDL.. not the GRSE model. Its for a different netbook.

Pros: I had no problem installing in my Best Buy 900a stock bios. DIffently worth it. Xandros no longer hesitates or becomes unresponsive, even when network is firing up and SD and USB tryig to open in filemanger. Runs snapier and far smother.
Cons: None

works great for the 901 also
Pros: Its faster than both original ssd,s update your bios to version 1808 for the 901. This enables the sata port.
Cons: You will need to know how to use the bios to change the boot priority. Not really a con but some people may not know how to this.
Other Thoughts: Again update your bios to version 1808 for the 901. This enables the sata port. Make sure which version EEE PC you are buying this for. There are PATA and SATA versions of ssd for the EEE. The 901 can use both with the updated bios.

fast in my Eee 901
Pros: Works in my Asus EeePC 901 (using latest BIOS update), even though the packaging on the SSD said "Eee S101". Incomparably faster than the slow MLC drive that came with my 901. Really cheap per gigabyte compared to those fast Runcore-brand drives.
Cons: SATA, while the drive that came with the system is PATA, so you need the latest BIOS update or it may not work.
Other Thoughts: It shows up as the "primary slave" while the drive it replaced was the "secondary slave", so you'll need to play around with the boot order in the BIOS if you want to keep booting from the small SLC drive "secondary master".

EEE PC 901
Pros: Good price fast speed
Cons: Minimal work needed to get your eee pc 901 to read this drive.
Other Thoughts: FIRST! Update your bios to 1808 this enables sata for the pcie slot. SECOND! Disable the 4gb ssd in the bios, you can still use it as storage in windows even if its disabled in the bios With the 4gb disabled this rive will show up.

Getting close to perfect
Pros: Very good speed for this class of device. 32 Gig beats most netbook offerings from the factory, so it makes a great upgrade. Price is good too.
Cons: Close but not perfect yet. Very close though...
Other Thoughts: Does anyone know if this fits inside a Dell Mini 9? I'm seriously considering buying ASAP, as it will double my SSD space inside the Mini right now, and even boost performance just a tad over the specs of the 16 gig in that machine now (80/45).
Thanks Super Talent for keeping the move upwards and onwards on new SSD drives!!!

Be Warned
Pros: Faster Speed than standard drives and large capacity
Cons: It will not work. I purchased this drive under the assumption that it would work in my EEE PC 1000. I was wrong. This drive although it has a mini pcie connector is actually a sata interface and thus will not work in most of the EEE PC line. I am really disappointed in Newegg becasue their webpage has no information to this fact that all the drives in the pcie catagory are not the same interface. And even worse because of their return policy I am stuck with a drive I cannot use.
Other Thoughts: I eventually found all this information out by digging at the supertalent site after I found my drive was not found in the bios. My biggest recommendation is to research your model eee pc with supertalent's website before purchase although when i purchased this drive not all the information was available yet or at least not as easily found
