Brother's Build
Pros: Build PC for Brother-in-Law. Computer seems to be working fine after 1 week. Everything went together well, was an easy setup. It's a Microsoft mouse and keyboard. You can't get much more simple or easy to install.
Cons: None at this time.

cheap junk
Pros: Decent feel to keys. Mouse is decent. Very cheaply made.
Cons: They are junk. This is my 2nd one. Thought maybe just bad luck with the first. The USB goes in and out. The lettering wears off the keys.
I had really thought of buying a higher end keyboard. But my last 2 Logitech wireless have failed within months out of the box as well. I have good luck with Keytronics but they are big as tanks.
Other Thoughts: Microsoft makes junk just like most everyone else. Very disappointed in this supposed "Business Class" product. I do not use the keyboard for gaming. Just simple ordinary typing.

PERFECT FOR PRICE
Pros: RECOGNIZED BY SYSTEM WITHOUT TROUBLE, SOFTWARE LOADED WITHOUT ISSUE AND KEYBOARD HAS NICE FEEL. MOUSE VERY SENSITIVE AND HANDLES WELL. LOVE FIVE BUTTON. ALSO LOVED NEWEGG'S FREE SHIPPING - IT IS THE SIMPLE THINGS IN LIVE THAT GIVE PLEASURE.
Cons: NONE YET
Other Thoughts: USED IN -COOLER MASTER 932 CASE, ASUS P6T MOBO, I7-920 PROC, 12G CORSAIR DDR3, CORSAIR TX850 PS, GEFORCE 9800 VID, TWO SEAGATE BARACUDA SATA'S IN RAID ANDONE TERA SAMSUNG BACKUP, PIONEER CD/DVD AND STILL BUILDING

Keyboard keys are busted
Pros: The mouse seems to be working pretty well. No problems there.
Cons: A few keyboard keys do not work at all on this thing. 2, x and right shift do not work at all. Im forced to use a keyboard from another computer for the time being. Quite a pain.

Excellent
Pros: I love the feel of this keyboard. Silent keystrokes are a key for me; shabby pun intended
Cons: honestly, it's weird, but when i type the word "really" with this keyboard fast, it misses the second "l" 9 times out of 10. I haven't encountered this problem with any other words but I'm sure it misses some strokes here and there.
Easy to work around if you're paying attention, but if you don't watch the screen when you type you might be adding some unforeseen typos into your master's thesis :P
Other Thoughts: good quality overall, and excellent price. Hard to beat

bad luck w/ MS mice
Pros: Feels good. Works good. Looks good.
Cons: Mouse stopped working about a year after purchase for absolutely no apparent reason.
Other Thoughts: I've had bad luck w/ MS mice. This is my 2nd MS mouse to zonk out on me in about 2 years. I've got a 3rd MS mouse that I've owned for almost a decade, so I don't know if I just have bad luck or if build quality is declining. I just know that I had to buy a new mouse to replace the one that came in this package, and I went Logitech. We'll see if they are any more reliable.

Pros: Keyboard is great even though I don't use all of the extra features. I like the palm rest; that's why I always buy this model (it's almost identical to a keyboard/mouse combo that Microsoft used to sell but recently discontinued). This is my 4th, I hope they never stop making them.
Cons: Mouse has too many buttons and they're too easy to accidentally click. I tried to get used to it for a few hours then went back to my old mouse. I was only looking for a keyboard anyway.
Other Thoughts: Even though the mouse is, to me, basically useless, I'm still giving it 5 eggs because I like the keyboard that much. But I do hope they start selling the combo with the old 2 button mouse again.

Mouse Light
Pros: Keyboard and mouse combo and at a good price.
5 button mouse.
Cons: The LED on the mouse stays on all the time, even when the computer is off. Is this normal? I don't like it. Not one little bit.

Looks Nice
Pros: Looks nice, has lots of features, good layout. Mouse is good, I have used the original optical Intellimouse for 7+ years and then I bought another (this model).
Cons: The "o" and "0" keys don't work??? I have never had a problem like this but it is "Oh" so frustrating. I guess I have to send it back.... This is really annoying because now the person I am building this for has to wait through an RMA or I have to buy an extra keyboard. Not very good quality control, I mean a keyboard's keys should at least work.
Other Thoughts: I am going to try it without the USB to PS2 adapter and see if the problem is there, but I doubt it will be. I will post another review if this fixes the problem.

Great Microsoft Keyboard/Mouse Combo
Pros: IntelliMouse Optical USB mouse and a silent key Microsoft USB Digital Media Keyboard (multi utility keys), two day shipping, price point!
Cons: Key's not lighted (not that big a con just a miscalculation on MY part... not worth skimping on the eggs!).
Other Thoughts: I overlooked the lighted keyboard genre of keyboards... oops! This was still an Egg-cellent value package from Newegg.com!

Good deal
Pros: The palm rest keeps your wrists of the table and carpel tunnel away. Keyboard functions are customizable with intellipoint software.
Well made. Both work as well as the day I bought them. Good for the office.
Cons: The mouse isn't great. It isn't terribly comfortable and the right side button is uncomfortable/hard to reach. The mouse has the worst tracking in the history of mouses -- don't game with this.
Other Thoughts: Err, I see the cha-ching went up since I bought this...but it is a good combo. However, you might want to look into an ergonomical mouse if you get it.

Overall good beyboard/mouse set
Pros: Good price, has PS2 adapters which is what I needed. Keyboard and mouse both have a pretty good feel. Time will tell how the durability is. I have always liked Microsoft keyboard and mouse products
Cons: Just your basic keyboard and mouse set, not really a con due to price.
Other Thoughts: I have always liked Microsoft's keyboard and mouse products and this set continues my positive image of that. Shipping was very fast as newegg always is. Overall a good combination, not much more I could ask for at this price.

I like it
Pros: I do not think the mouse feels weak at all, I have had alot of mice that felt very flimsiy compared to this one and the Keyboard is a good one as well. I no problems with either one and they will work for what ever you are doing
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Newegg did great agn by getting it to me in 3 days and everything worked. Go get the new driver and install for the keyboard before you plug it in. The new one is 6.3 for both the keyboard and mouse.

Poor finish but a good set anyway
Pros: Good layout and nice feedback from keys. Mouse feels good and tracks well. It's just what you would expect.
Cons: Side buttons on mouse let you page up/down but you have to be careful not to trigger them accidentially when you move sideways. I prefer these types of buttons on the top so you don't trigger them so easily but it's learning curve I guess.
Poor finish on this keyboard. Smooth section at the top has a high luster but it was all beat up. I can't tell if this was handling damage or poor tooling condition at the injection molding stage. Either way it was a surprising disappointment for a relatively expensive Microsoft keyboard set. Whoever makes these for Microsoft isn't doing a good job. I recently bought 2 Logitech LX-310 wireless sets and the finish was flawless by comparison. It was well packaged so I know it wasn't a shipping issue.
Other Thoughts: I bought this for the office and chose the wired approach to be assured that I wouldn't have interference with other wireless setups close by. It's a nice keyboard and the mouse is good. Looks nice on the desk.
Other than the finish issue I would have given it 5 eggs.

Great
Pros: Awesome keyboard and mouse. I have always had a mixture of mice and boards, never the same brand. Work very well and have no complaints. Good for gaming as well (if you are not a hardcore gamer like my self. I play games like TrackMania, Combat Arms, Unreal Tournament 3...). Soft keys and very quiet.
Cons: Mouse feels a little cheap but sturdy.
Other Thoughts: If you are looking for a good typing key board, get it.

Love it
Pros: I really like the soft feel of the keyboard and the back/forward buttons on the mouse. Switched from a wireless because I was sick of switching batteries every month and having my mouse stop working when my cell phone would ring.
Cons: The mouse feels a little flimsy, but that is minor. I am really happy with this combo
Other Thoughts: Sleek black look and feel. It is a simple keyboard with not much flash, but that is what I wanted. I was trying to find a keyboard that felt soft and this is it.

The Illustration Is Wrong But The Product Is Right
Pros: I really like this combo. The mouse is very precise and the keyboard has a lot of extra useful functions. I can easily use this package and move it around between my computers.
Cons: The new Fn Lock is a little tricky when you first begin using the keyboard. I also wish it had a Shut Down button.
Other Thoughts: The illustration on the box is incorrect regarding the F# keys. On the box, the F1 key is unmarked, then the F2 key is marked F1, and the F3 is marked F2, and it goes all the way to F11, and there would be no F12. However, on the product itself, the F1-F12 keys are correctly labeled. If you look at the product pictures you will know what I am referring to.

Good for office; bad for games
Pros: Keyboard is the most comfortable I have ever used. So is the mouse. No carpal tunnel here!
Cons: These complaints may or may not matter depending on what you'll use these items for.
*Mouse precision absolutely sucks. However, it would not be something you would notice at all unless trying to play a game.
*I would have appreciated some more keyboard buttons for commonly used commands, e.g., shut down, cut, copy, etc. This has only volume control, and a lot of other buttons you can only use if you install resource-hogging MS junkware that comes with the product.
Other Thoughts: I use my computer for work and gaming, and for the sake of the former I'm keeping this package. On the bright side I wont be going to the doctor complaining about aching wrists.
If you are shopping strictly for gaming, the keyboard is average. Get another mouse.

Decent KB/Mouse Combo
Pros: Great price for a KB/Mouse combo. Programable keys and 5 button mouse are great for internet browsing.
Cons: As others have said the mouse feels cheap, it's very light and the button on the right hand side is a bit awkward to use.
Other Thoughts: Even with the cheap feel of the mouse you can't go wrong for the price. I recently built a new PC for my father and he's very pleased with this combo. If you're an avid gamer you might want to look for a better mouse.

Excellent Wired Keyboard Mouse Combo
Pros: The soft keys, programmable favorite buttons and 5-button mouse are my highlights for this keyboard.
Cons: The mouse feels a little cheap, but I've been pretty hard on it for over 3 months and it's still working like the day I bought it. I recommend adjusting the vertical scrolling rate so that each noticeable notch will scroll to your liking.
Other Thoughts: Great value keyboard / mouse. I managed to get this item on sale for $29.99 with free shipping (March 2008).

Great deal!
Pros: This is a great deal. Very solid feel to both the keyboard and the mouse. I was worried it was going to feel cheap but I am very happy. The keyboard has lots of options I haven't even tried yet, but both components have worked great in all the software, including games, that I've tried. Both pieces are very responsive. Overall, a really great value that I would buy again in a heartbeat.
Cons: Be careful if you install the mouse software. It adds some functionality to the mouse, but I'm still not sure if I really want it. Makes the scroll wheel do some strange things in certain applications and games.

Hit & Miss
Pros: The mouse is one of the best if not the best I ever used. Yeah I know its Optical and Wired but it still works better then any mouse I used before. Its a newer version of the older white 5 button. I took my Wireless 8000 Laser mouse and threw it out. Now the keyboard! the keyboard is a mid class keyboard. I was using the Wireless Laser 6000 V2 with the nice flat smooth keys. This keyboard is sort of old style with the hard edge square keys. The key strokes are smooth and take some getting use to.
Cons: Keyboard key design is not up to date. Could be inproved
Other Thoughts: If you are replacing a older style keyboard with a simular layout you will have no problems. Other then that its a 4.5 out of 5 for me

Pros: The whole thing is a pro. I love this mouse with the side buttons. I have looked all over to try to find one of these mouses and finally found it. The keyboard has really nice smooth buttons, easy to be pressed. Very responsive. I use them mainly for gaming but have done some typing and it works great.
Cons: I have yet to find a con.....
Other Thoughts: Get All around Very Recommend! Also Neweggs The Greatest!

Microsoft Buisnees Harware Pack Review
Pros: Great Product. Plenty of features on the keyboard, alot of quick keys and the zoom is a nice feature aswell. Mouse has 5-buttons and scroll instead of the standard 3.over-all its well worth the money.
Cons: Only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 becuase the keyboard and mouse are a little light, it makes it feel kinda cheap. They should have put some wieghts in them to make them feel a bit more substantial.
Other Thoughts: I built a PC for my workplace using this keyboard/mouse set , I picked out all the hardware and my employer purchased the items From NewEgg. So, it wont say I, personally, bought it from NewEgg.

Pros: It is a quiet keyboard. It comes with a mouse. It has alot of customizable keys. In addition to the primary 5 custom keys, most of the Fuction keys F1-F12 can be customized for other actions. The zoom slider on the left side of the keyboard might come in useful in alot of applications such as Internet Explorer, MS Office products, Adobe Photoshop, etc.
Cons: The top portion of the keyboard to the left and right of the primary custom keys up top is glossy, which means it is a dust and fingerprint magnet. I wish it was the same finish as the rest of the keyboard.
Other Thoughts: The letters and numbers on the keys have a protective film of some sort, which might be used to protect the letters, but it can be clearly seen on the keys since the film is glossy and the keys are more matte finish.

amazing
Pros: ok, this keyboard is amazing. its kind of cupped in so its a little more comfortabable. Its also extremely silent. For what ive changed from, this is a beauty. Look at the price. Software it comes with is the good too. I love the option of being able to look at all the windows on your screen when you click the mouse button.
Cons: Mouse seems a little cheap, mostly the side buttons, and the wheel is a little bumpier than usual, but i guess it doesn't really hurt that much.
Other Thoughts: zoom slider isn't really the greatest, but its not bad either. It could be a little more accurate. Everything on the mouse, and the f lock keys are customizable, just read the instructions.

nice
Pros: Has a lot of shortcut keys and the mouse has plenty of buttons. The program it comes with allows you to customize all of the extra keys very easily.
Cons: F5 button is set to open things and not refresh? It is not really much of a hassle to just click refresh.
Other Thoughts: It is a keyboard, what else can you say.
