Pros: Uses batteries like Scrooge. I can't even get the mouse batteries, that are rechargeable, to die. After they were first charged, they have maintained the charge for days upon days they run without being turned off. Once everything was installed, it was easy as pie to configure the buttons on the mouse and keyboard. The keyboard uses standard alkaline AA batteries, I have yet to replace them. Must have a bunny in them.

Cons: NONE!

Other Thoughts: You will not regret getting this keyboard and mouse! As usual, NewEGG ROCKS!

Pros: Ergonomics are super. Plugged it in and everything worked on the first time. I am using this with twin LINUX systems on a USB KVM switch and it is 100% compatible. It arrived beautifully packed and in perfect condition.

Cons: It does not cure cure life threatening illnesses. (well, it would not let me leave the con section blank!)

Other Thoughts: It is not the least expensive keyboard on the site. But it is built like a battleship (heavy gauge plastic, rechargable rodent (mouse). 3yr battery life on KB). In this case, I would say, you get what you pay for!

Rating + 4 Lag Fix!?!


Pros: Ok...I love the Overall feel and useage of this combo.Its a nice setup compared to what I have used in the past.

Cons: I have been fighting this thing since I got it.I have reinstalled the Setpoint software a few times,re-connected the thing a hundred times as well.I was about to give up till today when I got home from work.I looked again at the Logitech Support Forums and found a Post that mentioned..
1. Being near the Power Supply can cause Interference with the Receiver .
2.The Receiver works best in a front USB slot ,and/or in line of Sight to the Keyboatrd /mouse.

So....

Other Thoughts: I did what was suggested and Put the Receiver on a Hub on top of the desk,in line of sight like was mentioned.

Results...Works great for the last hour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I sure hope this helps somebody else.Because I was going Nuts!!!!

Pros: Cordlees, Nice easy to customize controls, Very comfortable all around (mouse, keyboard and wrist support

Cons: Unforunatly dispite the excellent comfort and nice features the product it was a complete dissapointment. The mouse was was very jerky and never smoooth no matter what I tried and the keyboard kept losing connection/dropping out.
I tried to get it rite for a little over a week. I also called Logitech and tried to get support and all they would do was send me another one. So I just returned it to the store and got a new one instead. Same problem even after the exchange.

Rating + 1 uh, 2.4 what?


Pros: Ummmm... it has a numberpad?

Cons: I am about 8, thats "eight" feet away from the receiver. This keyboard and mouse are about 70% accurate. That means that while typing this I will have had to press the delete key about 20 times just so i could type this message becuase it misses keystrokes. The mouse is just the same, I cannot play games because there is lag and again about 70% is accurate but the other 30 i either get a lag or some odd movement with the mouse. This is with three different games I've tried, I've tried using no drivers, and two different version including the newest setpoint 4.8, it still sucks exactly the same. This might as well be a RF wireless desktop. I knew very well that logitech wasnt the greatest company but I mean 8ft with a 2.4ghz wireless desktop before malfunction?!!!! I'm afraid the reputation of logitech is pretty accurate, more so than the mouse and keyboard of wave pro.

Other Thoughts: The most disappointing thing is that the price is outrageous for what you get! for $130 you can get any 2.4ghz desktop that will outperform this. I'm no amateur and don't think that I just received a "fluke" product. I'm outraged.

Pros: Very comfortable, hand rest is cushioning but does not let your hand sink to where its at an odd angle. Mouse is fast and responsive but i do notice a difference in gaming but only in fast paced games. Set up is perfect for my HDTV being my monitor and to play R.U.S.E. beta.

Cons: Looks dorky but maybe thats just me im used to slim line keyboards and normal MS mice. Space bar is big it took some getting used to but im fine after two days so its not worth taking away and egg.

Other Thoughts: payed for 3 day delivery got it in one day thank you newegg and UPS for great delivery.

Rating + 4 Aluminum foil saves the day


Pros: Typing on the keyboard is a joy. The mouse too is very comfortable. There are good convenience features like an application switch similar to Alt+Tab, calculator button, and on-the-fly DPI switch on the mouse.

Cons: Some keys like Esc are harder to reach. The function key layout takes a little getting used to. Though most importantly, I had SEVERE connection issues. Unless the receiver was mere inches away, I would have terrible lag and long drop times. I was about to take it back until I found the solution below.

Other Thoughts: If you too find yourself having connection issues, wrap the USB receiver in several layers of aluminum foil. I'm not kidding. Seriously, do it. After adding the foil, I experience almost no signal drops, and when it does it doesn't last more than a second or two.

Pros: Wireless. Keyboard has comfortable palm rest, Good for watching movies/videos as you remote access to volume and mute buttons. Handy media keys (especially handy mute button). Great mouse, I really like the frictionless mouse wheel - big help for scrolling through long documents/webpages.

Cons: Both keyboard and mouse now and then loose connection for a second or two. What happens is that sometimes in the middle of typing the keyboard stops responding for a few seconds, or mouse freezes for a split second or two. It can be a bit annoying when you are doing work or in middle of completing a sentence. Luckily the problem is intermittent and rarely the freeze is longer than a second or two. However FPS gaming is impossible. Due to fast action delay/lag/freezing is much more noticeable and frustrating. Every time I game I have to switch to wired mouse, and often to wired keyboard as well.
I don't know why this connection lag is happening. I have the latest drivers, the batteries are fully charged. My case is only a couple of feet away ( I've tried moving the receiver from the back of the case to the front but that doesn't help). I don't have wireless network so that's not the problem. I do have on my desk a 2.4 GHz DSS phone which theoretically could be emitting signal on t

Other Thoughts: Layout of function keys is somewhat hard to get used to, and the keys a little bit sticky compared to the best wired keyboards.

Pros: KEYBOARD (lots of use for almost a month): the layout of the keys and the palm pad make this the most comfortable keyboard I've every had the pleasure of using; all the hotkey features on the board are great; battery life is unbelievable; range appears to be excellent (been about 15' from receiver and haven't had any problems) MOUSE (even more use than the keyboard): quite comfortable as well (nothing like a standard mouse); all the buttons and customablity are a huge plus; extreme precision (variable with adjustable dpi); battery life is super, I've gone a little over two days of high usage on one charge but I usually plug it in every night before going to bed; range is as excellent as the keyboard, I can kick back on the couch, surf or play games (haven't had any noticable lag)

Cons: None for me, the keyboard is HUGE though, but I don't think it would be as nice if it was any smaller. May not be suitable for anyone with a small desktop area. Although, it's really no larger than a standard keyboard with a gel pad palm rest. And hey, it's wireless, so one could just kick back and rest it on their lap. I do from time to time. I can't elaborate any on 2.4GHz or wireless n band interference, as our house uses g,b band wireless, and has no cordless phones.

Other Thoughts: I was somewhat skeptical at first when I ordered this combo. But, after using this close to a month now for hours on end, I'm really glad this is the one I decided to go with.

Pros: Nice keyboard, even nicer mouse. Works well in windows, works ok in OSX 10.5.x The soft ware does not work in OSX 10.6.x even though Logitech says the software works with SL. It does not detect the mouse or keyboard so you can not customize the buttons. And the printing on the buttons for OSX are on the wrong buttons. If you are use to a MAC keyboard and map the command buttons to the symbol then there is a key in between where it goes on the MAC keyboard.

Cons: sometimes there is a bit of lag. and from time to time the keyboard is not detected at startup. so to change from Windows / OSX I have to pull the dongle and put it back in. I dont know if I just got a oddball or what.

Pros: Great keyboard design, love the Wave.
The mouse feels great, has great movement and the button layout and utility are excellent.

Cons: Loses connection, apparently is is not compatible with 802.11 wireless hardware.

Other Thoughts: The mouse works great, when it works. I love the scroll, the movement and the overall feel and utility of it.
But, it loses connection frequently forcing a full reboot and the loss of all ongoing work. A call to Logitech tech support left me on hold for 15 minutes only to be told that the mouse is not compatible with any device running at 2.4Ghz. Since this includes my 802.11n wireless connection and most wireless telephones, this seems to be a PC-incompatible design. This leaves me to wonder what the Engineers at Logitech have been smoking.
It goes back today!

Pros: It is wireless, comfortable keyboard, lots of buttons on mouse, software is good.

Cons: I have sent back this keyboard/mouse once because the mouse completely quit working with full batteries. The one I received has been extremely laggy aka typing and letters appear 5-10 seconds later. This makes gaming impossible. The mouse often drops signal. I have the receiver only 2 feet away from the keyboard and mouse and no obstructions in the way.

Other Thoughts: I don't recommend this combo for the price. You would be better off going for a wired combo than this lacking wireless. I am quite disappointed in Logitech because I have always found their products to be of high quality. Perhaps this is their bad stepchild.

Pros: The keyboard layout isn't quite the level of a split-keyboard, but still allows for comfort and is easy to type on. The Mouse is a great fit, plenty of customization options, and hasn't given me a single issue.

Cons: Some keys on the keyboard take some adjusting, but this is hardly a con--just a slight inconvenience at first. One strange thing is the Function keys, which are spaced in threes rather than fours. Again, minor.

Other Thoughts: These are great together, and really help with those who have issues with aches and pains in there hands. Easy to use and customize.

Pros: The wave is the most comfortable keyboard I've ever typed on. The mouse included in this pack is extremely comfortable as well. Have my Alienware laptop HDMI'd to my 40" LCD, and I can control it from anywhere in the room. My friends love it!

Pros: Excellent comfort, great features, I especially like the software that comes with all logitech products. The wave design took a few days to get used to coming from a flat keyboard, but It feels very natural now. The range of the unit is very good, I have done 20 feet plus and it still seems to work well. The mouse is equally impressive. very natural feel with smooth movement. Both the keyboard and mouse have a very high quality feel. I have always used logitech products, but this is my favorite so far.

Pros: It's comfortable, very functionable and keeps a good connection. I have not had success in the past with mouse/keyboard combos. Usually the keyboard is fine, but the mouse is horrible. This combo really seems to work well. The mouse is great for anything from surfing the net to gaming. I really like the button on top that allows you to switch the type of scroll. The shape of the mouse works and I like that you can use the mouse while it's charging unlike some others that have to be docked.

Cons: Some may think the size of the keyboard is a con. One thing that makes other keyboards smaller is that they have a separate wrist pad. I did not think I would like how the pad is actually part of this keyboard, but it forces me to use it which is part of what makes this set comfortable to use.

Pros: I've got 2 of these items. One for my HTPC, the other for my office. Nice product, I was a MAJOR Microsoft Keyboard & Mouse fan. I love the product, but I definitely have to get used to the style of the keys.

Cons: In my office, it loses signal once in a while, but them comes right back. I moved my USB plug to the front of my computer, and that has helped, but it still happens once in a great while. The HTPC doesn't lose signal at all...since I moved it 20 feet closer to me! LOL

Other Thoughts: Increase the range of the USB unit and/or boost the signal. Add rechargable batteries in the keyboard...and you'd get 5 eggs!

Pros: All kinds of extra shortcut buttons on the keyboard AND mouse. Very convenient. Never seen mouse sensitivity buttons, page flip buttons, not to mention that all the extra buttons are completely programmable.

Nice distance. I am using this keyboard right now sitting on my couch about 10 feet from the wireless receiver on my computer and it works flawlessly.

Rating + 5 I LOVE this keyboard


Pros: Very fast keyboard, light touch, easy on the hands for all-day use. No interference or dropped anything. The USB transponder setup is intelligent with a long cable and cradle into which a little USB dongle goes for desktop use, and you can just take the dongle for your laptop/netbook.

Layout is similar to the Microsoft "curve" keyboards like their wireless 6000 desktop. Key travel is like the 600 v2, but less wobbly. I like the wave -- makes hitting the home row instant. Hard to miss the home position.

The RF works better than any other wireless keyboards I've used -- doesn't seem to matter where the transponder is. It fell on the floor behind my desk when I was moving stuff around, and I didn't even notice for a few days -- keyboard kept on working!

Cons: Kinda pricey, but it is the best wireless keyboard I've found so far.

The mouse is OK, and most people would likely find it fantastic, but it's a little small for me. I much prefer how the higher end Microsoft rodents like the ones that come with the 6000 desktop feel in my hand.

Other Thoughts: I generally can adjust to most keyboards pretty quickly. However, it took ZERO time to adjust to the Wave.

My hands are XXL with very long fingers, so many keyboards are simply too small, most laptop keyboards are difficult for me to use, and netbook keyboards are strictly hunt-and-peck for me even though I am a very fast typist on a keyboard that fits.

This keyboard is amazing it that my young son loves it too, and his hands are tiny.

I am a programmer so the keyboard is extremely important to me and I wear out keyboards. My last Microsoft 6000 died after a year of beating the living daylights out of it for way too many hours, and the replacement I got was defective. While waiting for Newegg to RMA the unit, I picked up this Logitech unit at a local outlet, and am very happy and will likely not install the Microsoft replacement.

Pros: I like the design of the keyboard and mouse. No problems with the operation and range. My setup is about 6 feet away. The recharge setup on the mouse is nice.

Cons: Needs lights on the keyboard badly. Doesn't even have a cap lock indicator. I am a gamer and it performs adequately. The mouse has a slight lag at times but not enough to lose a whole egg.

Pros: The wave shape speeds up your typing after you get used to it. I love the Calculator and Sleep buttons on the upper right. The volume control is something that I've always been missing on my older KB. The mouse has enough buttons to play with.It comes with rechargeable battery and cable so you can recharge while still working.

Cons: Not for work!!! I mean the F keys are grouped in 4 pairs of 3
Ex: [1-2-3] [4-5-6] [7-8-9] [10-11-12]
I find myself pressing Alt+F3 instead of F4
f10 to render in 3dsmax insted of f9
Same in flash for the actionscript panel
F4 to refresh instead of f5....
the list goes on and on...
Not only that. At night I have to have a light on instead of just using the monitor illumination because they put the Blue Function labels on top
and the F1 F2 F3 labels on the side (as if they are less important) so they don't get seen.
The Insert/Delete/Home/End are awful to get used to...
The Home is now Insert and the Page Up is End. The Delete takes 2 buttons. I like the old/standard config.
When the USB receiver was plugged in the back I would get 111111111111111111 repeated when typing without even pressing the 1 so I had to get extension usb cable to get it on the desk. It works fine now.I find the mouse DPI buttons are useless.

Other Thoughts: The Mouse has a "thumb button" which I set to Alt-Tab to switch fast between apps. It worked great
but when you start playing games you always get to accidentally press the freakin button.
You know what happens :(
So i had to change that to "DO NOTHING"

Pros: Nice physical layout. Worked nicely in the beginning.

Cons: After six months or so of ownership, the keys started to get stickier and harder to press. No, I haven't dumped anything on it. It just seems to have progressively more key friction as time goes by. Enough so that I'm considering replacing it after just over a year. This is after 6 years with a Microsoft ergonomic keyboard.

Pros: Good curvature and key-depths maching finger lengths, plenty of multimedia keys (supported under Linux), single 2.4GHz USB receiver for both mouse and keyboard.

Cons: After owning this keyboard for close to a year, I have to say it has one major design flaw. The keys like to be pressed in the center, vertically-straight in order to work reliably. Pressing keys off-center may occasionally "lock" the key in mid-point and require you to release it and presse again.

Some keys are more prone to this than others. Specifically, my "K" was really particular about how it was pushed down. I removed it to investigate further. I found two vertical "rails" that the key slides on when it travels down and up. The rails ensure the keys don't move side to side. Problem is, they also make the key get stuck when you run into any surface irregularities. These irregularities don't matter much when you are pressing perfectly straight, but when you're pressing off-center, you're in contact with the rails and are more prone to running into this problem.

Other Thoughts: I typically work with the keyboard 6-9 hours a day. I can honestly say, this keyboard has a lot of things going for it, but the "rails-system" seems like a bad idea. For reason state above, I tend to recommend keyboards with slimmer keys. I'm looking forward to Logitech's latest Ultra-Flat Keyboard (not available in US).

Pros: This keyboard is light and the range is amazing. I can use it in my living room while the computer is in the office. Comes with batteries. The mouse is super precise and very comfortable in my hand. The soft wrist rest on the keyboard is nice too. I got this at a great price and when I looked back it was $20bucks more. I would recommend this keyboard and mouse combo for anyone.

Pros: Has a curve. Used to have one way back in the day when people thought it was weird and now I have it back and I am loving it.
Battery life in the mouse is pretty good, been using it for about 2 weeks pretty steadily and the led on the mouse still shows green when it turns on.
I love the scroll wheel that spins like crazy, I have never had one like that and this is great. But if you don't like it then you just hit a button and it turns normal again.
I got the pair on sale for less than the price of the mouse OR keyboard separately so it was def. worth it. I have big hands so to me this mouse is a pretty decent size, although would prefer it to be slightly bigger I guess.

Cons: Is this lag free? NO its not!!! I have 6 USB ports in the back an this one takes up the sixth. It was about 2-3 feet away and would lag constantly throughout the day. Luckily I had a USB extension cable and bringing the receiver away from the desktop has really helped A LOT, I actually don't think it has lagged since. So I have decided to keep it.

As far as another con or 2 is that the numpad or the cushion can't be removed I guess. Not a big deal though, it just would have been nice.
Also some of the buttons on the keyboard are made for windows Vista and the pictures on them have nothing to do with windows 7 but I can eventually program them to do something else.

Other Thoughts: I didn't use setpoint or what ever the software is that is suppose to go with it since they don't technically have full support with windows 7 yet. I just plugged it in and let it install the drivers itself. But all I really need is set as default for the mouse already.(scroll wheel, left/right click, page back and forward) So I decided for now there really is no point for the bloated software that everyone else seems to be complaining about.
If you have a way to move the receiver away from the back of your desktop tower then don't hesitate to buy this, if not then there may be a chance of lag for you.

Pros: Keyboard is very comfortable, more so than I imagined. It seems to be a such a natural fit. The mouse is decent as well. Being a programmer that sifts through pages and pages of code I love the hyper scroll option.

Cons: Stupid RF! Prone to interference and lags sometimes. However, any wireless device I've ever used had an interference problem one way or another.

Other Thoughts: I'd make the purchase again. The comfort is very much worth it.

Pros: The keyboard is very comfortable and intuitive. There are TONS of buttons to configure, and the included software is very easy to use. I also really like being able to check the battery status with one function key. The mouse is very responsive, very comfortable, and very intuitive as well. I love the on off switches for the board and mouse, very useful, only time I have ever had a board with this option. Wireless distance is in excess of 4 meters, very impressed. Very happy to be able to charge my mouse with the included usb or ac adapter plug.

Cons: The 'stealth' button on the mouse is hard to press down, makes it more or less useless. I would have rather had another button in between the forward an back buttons. The on/off switch is hidden on the back side of the board and bottom of the mouse, which is slightly irritating. The recharging usb cord only recharges, it doesn't transmit signal, which seems kind of odd because this could definitely be a gaming mouse if that feature was included.

Other Thoughts: I am very impressed with this board over all, I have had other logitechs and this is the best I have had. I just returned a microsoft wireless board and mouse for this package and I am extremely happy. Worth every penny. The mouse wheel takes a bit to get used to, but is actually pretty useful to scroll through long lists or pages quickly. DPI buttons are the same, I switch to a slower movement setting when ever I play games and then switch back to faster movement to quickly move around my dual monitors.

Pros: The keyboard is very comfortable and the keys are very quiet. The pad for your writs is very comfortable as well. great deal considering the mouse is $80 alone. The mouse is great, dont even need a mouse pad it literally glides along my desk effortlessly. Had it for a week and the mouse low batt. light has not come on. (apparently it lasts 6 weeks)

Cons: Does not produce endless amounts of gold nuggets.

Other Thoughts: If you like things that are awesome you will like this mouse and keyboard.

Pros: Convenient with an on/off switch so no waste of battery if not using it. works good without software,but has some quirks.another positive: mouse can be recharged on USB-Port, no need to use power adapter for it.

Cons: keyboard does not have numlock or capslock indicator. arrow keys roll the page instead of the row. Receiver blocks two USB-Ports cause of high power consumption.also install multiple HID Devices for whatever reason.

Other Thoughts: don't use the software.it will mess up your PC and is hard to remove.most special buttons will work without it anyway. I bought this set to replace, what I thought was my messed up keyboard, but I had same problem with this keyboard.turns out my keyboard file was damaged. have not decided yet to send back or file under experience.....

Pros: What I liked was the price and discount. Having owned a MX700 mouse and keyboard that I bought over 3 years ago, I thought this would be a similar setup.

Cons: What I don't like is the feel of the mouse. The DPI keys are close to the buttons which, if you have big hands, can get pressed. Also the wheel on the mouse is what I would describe as "loose and clunky". It is free wheeling, so with one flick, can do several rotations..can't figure out what this would be good for.

Other Thoughts: Overall a decent setupl. The pros of having a laser mouse is good, but prefer the older style logitechs. I won't return, but will put this setup on the kids' computer.

Pros: Just works. Runnging Windows 7 (no official drivers for it) using Setpoing 4.8 and all is well.
Programmable keys and mouse buttons, rechargable mouse, very comfortable.

Cons: Not really a con, but a dock for the mouse to charge would have been nice. I don't like the cable, but on the upside, you don't have to stop using it while it's charging. (I'd dock it every night if it had a dock, so that wouldn't be an issue for me if it had a dock)

Other Thoughts: I've seen people complain about the range of the wireless and dropouts and delays. I haven't had any of this with my set. I even took the keyboard into the other room, about 25 feet away through a wall, and typed a bit. I can't say if there were any delays while doing this since I couldn't see the screen, but everything I typed was there when I checked.

Pros: 1. Comfortable transition from a standard keyboard unlike M$oft's ergonomics line.
2. MX 1100 mouse bundled is a treat to use.
3. Range is perfect for me, because I don't use the thing on the couch with the TV as a monitor, just standard usage.
4. Set-up didn't take forever and bundled software actually useful, a pleasant surprise.

Cons: Didn't come the exact way I wanted it. I had to program the keys myself. Seriously, is it that hard for them to read my mind and program everything out of the box?

Pros: Range is good (*). Battery life is excellent. I use 2100mA low self discharge lithium ion rechargeables in both the keyboard and mouse. I have been using both every day for nearly two months now and have not recharged yet. KB layout is nice. Mouse is comfortable.

Cons: Notice the "Range is good" is asterisked. Some have complained about drop outs or lag. I too have experienced this and it is annoying, however it is correctable as I will note in the section below.

There are no LED indicators on the keyboard for Num Lock or Caps Lock. I really, really, do not like this. Logitech, going forward you need indicators! LEDs are low cost. Charge $2 for the KB - we'll pay it.

Other Thoughts: Lag / drop outs - I have noticed two things. First, I moved the USB receiver from the back of the PC to the top (I have a top port in my CM690 case). Some may not like the aesthetics - it is not an issue for me. This helped some but I still had occasional lag from the key boad. The transmitter appear to be behind a panel on the under side of the KB. I noticed when sitting with the KB in my lap, I would always experience lag. When I pay attention to it, and make sure I am not covering that panel with my leg, the lag goes away. The transmitter probably would have been better placed in the back edge of the KB instead of underneath. That said, on a desk top I have never had an issue. When using it with a HTPC from 20ft away, sitting on the sofa, I need to be alert not to block the above mentioned panel.

All this said, minus one egg because of the darn lack of LED indicators!

Pros: This is the first time I've used an ergonomic keyboard and I must say it is incredibly comfortable. I bought it after reading all the raving reviews and I definitely have no regrets.
The keyboard pad feels like leather. The keyboard and the mouse uses a single receiver so I don't have to keep track of which one is which.
The MX1100 mouse is definitely wider than the MX Revolution, but not uncomfortable for me. I also own a VX Nano which is tiny compared to this.

Cons: The keyboard is a little on the big side. For the VX Nano, to switch between hyperscrolling and regular scrolling, I only have to press the wheel. However on the MX1100, there's a button underneath the wheel. I normally assign that button on the Nano as the Middle Button. So I have to remember which is which..

Other Thoughts: Got it when it was $74.99 plus free shipping. Excellent deal!

Pros: quality feel, looks good and sounds good when you key stroke, keyboard is padded for your wrist to rest on, keyboard hot keys can be customized using the software. Keyboard audio controls. Great options on the mouse too. Software tells you battery life of both keyboard and mouse. I assume you can better your range by getting a usb extension to get the sensor a little closer to where you are using your keyboard and mouse though. Thats my plans at least.

Cons: There are some inconsistencies with lag of some sort. Most likely a range issue though. I'm only 3-4 feet away from the wireless sensor connected to cpu by usb. (the logitech wave pro box says "up to 33 feet of range and virtually no delays or dropouts") That proves to be a very untrue statement. sometimes there is a second or two delay when you are typing vs when it shows up. Same with the mouse, i have to click 2 or 3 times on things before it will work. I assume thats all tied into the range to maybe. mouse has rechargeable battery last about a week before you need to recharge. F keys (they are in 4 sets of 3 rather than 3 sets of 4 - if you use them a lot it will be dif.)

Other Thoughts: Buy it! This is my second logitech wireless keyboard and mouse. The first one lasted 6-7 years until the keyboard quit on me. It had way better range though. Overall, I like this wave pro. If i could give one overall pro and con. Pro: keyboard and mouse have a great quality feel. Con: Lack of range from your computer (wireless usb sensor) to both keyboard and mouse. (remember thats fixable with a usb extension though.)

Pros: I bought this set for my PC that I had a friend build for my family. It works great whether I'm doing some light gaming or typing. Both of my parents use it and have no issues with it. All of the fully programmable, non-standard keys and extra mouse buttons will make you wonder how you ever got along without them. The small USB receiver avoids cord clutter, and the keyboard get excellent battery life. Media keys are always a plus.

Cons: The rechargeable AA battery in the mouse can't be replaced with a standard AA battery, but using the charge cable is simple enough.

Other Thoughts: I noticed that the keyboard doesn't work during start up after a crash, but it works fine otherwise.

Pros: The keyboard feels nice and functions well. I like the recharge concept and the expected battery life is good as advertised. The mouse feels nice to the grip.

Cons: The mouse with this combo is the real dealbreaker, because the tracking on it with fine movements is outright terrible. Its amazing that Logitech would let something major like this slip to a retail product. I played around with settings for a good hour or two, and thats including the latest Setpoint drivers; but still could not correct the lousy fine movement tracking.

Other Thoughts: Newegg supressed my first review of this, I'm not sure why. Maybe because it was so negative. But for $80+ for this set and to not have a good mouse just does not make sense. Other reviewers have commented on the same issue with fine movement tracking, if you are a gamer then stay far away from the mouse in this set. Trying to aim in an FPS is impossible and even something as simple as clicking on an action bar in WoW is difficult with this mouse because the pointer jumps sporadically when fine movements are made. Also, while the keyboard feels pretty nice, the quality of the materials feels rather cheap and subpar.

Rating + 5 Outlandish Claims and Meeting Them


Pros: This is hands down the best keyboard (and mouse) I have ever owned. As a gamer, I've skeptical of all things wireless. So my purchase of this was for my HTPC and not my gaming rig, giving wireless a chance to dazzle me. This didn't disappoint. The keyboard is still running the original batteries from a year ago, I've only charged my mouse twice in the last year. Typing I never lose a keystroke, the mouse is super responsive even with the couch as it's pad, and best of all, that's at 20+ feet away.

Cons: I'm an ergo keyboard guy, so the 'split' isn't really there, but it has the curve plus a dip to it that makes up for it. Still prefer something split a bit more, but finding one is a pain. Mouse thumb button (big flat one where I lay my thumb) get's annoying from time to time, just because I'll accidentally click it, but it's a minor annoyance and can be dissabled using the logitech software. Wich is another point, the software. It's fine, but I prefer to run as little as possible on all my systems, especially my HTPC, so I wish it didn't have to run all the time, despite it's low overhead.

Other Thoughts: I orginally wanted to go with a BT keyboard mouse combo for my HTPC setup, but with a $100 gift card to a retail chain (sorry NewEgg, I did buy elsewhere), I swooped this up. I am more than impressed with the power and range of the wireless band vs line of sight and BT. I used a USB cable to bring the receiver up to the top of my TV (but still hidden), to help with the range, despite not having any problems with it just plugged into the back of my HTPC. Figured I had an extra cable, and anything could help. I highly recommend this combo, for anyone and everyone, internet lurker to gamer alike.

Pros: Lots of functionality on the keyboard itself. I like being able to open Calculator on the fly and the media controls are good. Mouse battery life is superb 6 weeks according to the manual. We'll see though.

Cons: Mouse is bulky and uncomfortable to me. The placement of the side buttons can result in hitting them when just moving the mouse. Logitechs software is abysmal to say the lease. Both the keyboard and mouse cut out sometimes which is really frustrating while gaming, like on WoW.

Other Thoughts: Can't beat the ability to sit on your couch and play PC games on a bigscreen TV. I just wish this was bluetooth, but hey the price was right. It works just not as good as I was hoping for. I think next time I will get a MS combo, they just always seem to work better and usually right out of the box, with minimal, unnoticible software(if any).

Pros: None, because no matter how nice the packaging is, or how nice the keyboard feels, or how ergonomically whatever the mouse is, the bottom line is if these companies can't figure out how to make this wireless stuff work, they shouldn't even bother wasting our time. I get $35 an hour for my time. Logitech owes me $70 for the two hours of my life they wasted. They're playing a numbers game. They figure that enough people will buy their stuff and live with the results that it still makes it worthwhile for them.

Cons: Delayed keystrokes, delayed mouse action, just plain doesn't work to any small level of satisfaction. I tried all the troubleshooting tips given in the booklet. I was within four feet of the receiver, and had the receiver pointed right at me. Just total junk.

Pros: After having tried some "Natural" keyboards with mixed results, I was a bit concerned on how easy it would be to adapt to the layout. This keyboard is extremely natural, didn't have to adapt my typing at all. Keys feel really nice with a great tactile feel, product is much nicer in person than in pictures.

Cons: overall the mouse is very ergonomic but the buttons for page back and page forward in a browser feel a bit unnatural. (the back isn't bad at all, just the forward)
charger is great for the mouse, wish the keyboard would have one also.

Other Thoughts: I had read some reviews that stated this keyboard is huge, so I expected a behemoth. It's really not that big.

Pros: +Wave layout is comfortable and I had no learning curve at all with it. I find my typing to be slightly better over a standard board. (N.B.--I use Dvorak.) Works well as a KB--no lag--and has plenty of customizable hotkeys. Keys are quiet and soft to press but responsive.

+Awesome mouse with one caveat, below. Great tracking, lots of (mostly!) customizable buttons, easy scroll toggle button. Hyper-scroll is very useful. Bigger mouse took some adjustment but I'm used to it now and it's no problem, and I have small hands. Rechargeable AA battery is nice--it needs a charge about once a month, which is a simple matter of connecting an included microUSB cable.

Cons: -The DPI buttons on the mouse aren't as customizable as you'd think. You can only set them as a pair--back/forward, zoom in/out, etc.--and not individually, with the exception that you can set each to its own keyboard shortcut. Unfortunately, it wouldn't take available shortcuts for the functions I wanted. I was able to work around it by using AutoHotKey to map my own shortcuts, which was a little tricky but worked. But I shouldn't have to use a workaround.

-KB is huge, arcs in the middle so if you press down on it it bends a bit. Still feels sturdy. Not Logitech's most attractive KB. Like other LT boards, the FN key is inconveniently placed between the right ALT and CTRL keys; I can barely hit FN-F4 with one hand.

Other Thoughts: I'm on my second set. On the first one, I had problems with the scroll toggle button--it wouldn't always switch from hyper to normal scroll (it's a mechanical process and I think this was my own doing--I had a habit of using the toggle button to stop the wheel while hyper scrolling.) It was still under warranty so I contacted Logitech, told them about the problem, and they quickly shipped me a new set with minimal hassle--I'm pretty sure I was dealing with a computer, not a person, but they got it done. New set works fine, haven't had problems with the toggle after I stopped using it as a brake, and kudos to Logitech for replacing it so easily.

Pros: This keyboard and mouse combo from Logitech has performed way beyond what I expected. Gone are the connection problems of the microsoft elite bluetooth that I was using. This keyboard and mouse connect instantantly and maintain a strong connection with zero lag and no dropped keystrokes even when the reciever is located in the back of my computer in a entertainment center and located at about a 12 foot distance. I love the layout and choice of media and shortcut keys and programability. The keyboard looks great and is very comfortable to use. The mouse in this combo fits my hand nicely and performs well. The function buttons work perfectly and are very programable. The scroll wheel can be used for very fast freewheeling scroll or simply press the button behind the wheel for standard scrolling. I have tried several mouse pads and this mouse seems to work well on all of them. For an all around wireless keyboard and mouse combo this is an excellent choice.

Cons: The microsoft elite bluetooth keyboard had a softer touch and sound to the keys.

Other Thoughts: If this keyboard performs as advertised I hope to save a lot of batteries compared to what I was using in my previous keyboard.

Pros: The advertising is correct, the keyboard doesn't take much getting used to, the only gripe I have with it being that I sometimes miss the enter key because it is higher up then what I am used to.

The wrist support on the keyboard is soft and does its job well.

The mouse sensitivity is good and the customizable buttons make everything to your liking fairly quickly.

Cons: The mouse is rather bulky. I also have an MX Revolution, which in itself is a rather large mouse; this one is bigger. Not comfortable for people who use anything but a palm grip on their mouse. I use a more clawed grip, so it doesn't agree with me.

My mouse came with one button not functioning (the forward button on the left side of the mouse).

My three egg rating simply means that the package did not deliver on what I was hoping for. The functionality of keyboard and mouse are top-notch. The customizing is simple and quick, as is the hookup. But the design of the keyboard and the mouse is somewhat lacking.

If I were to make a recommendation to a friend, spend the extra couple dollars and get a G11 and MX Revolution instead.

Pros: Excellent keyboard with great wireless range. The keys have nice feedback to them and its ergonomically shaped to the position of your hands. Haven't had to replace the batteries yet.

Mouse works great when it responds. You can swap from high to precise scrolling and change your dpi settings on the fly. The mouse is wireless and can be charged with an included cable.

Cons: I often miss the enter (return) key because of the shape of the keyboard. Perhaps its just my hands.

Logitech's Quality Control really failed regarding the mouse. Not only does it fail to respond to movement about the half the time, it will sometimes fail to work even on flat surfaces. Note that the mouse will not work on a Gel (the ones that are a lil squishy but are firm) mouse pad. Normally the range on the mouse is around 1-3 feet which is horrible. I've been forced to use 3 usb cable extenders to get it working (I use my pc as a home theater pc) Maybe it was just my mouse, but it has really disappointed me with the lack of response. I was shocked when i got a cheap 20 dollar wireless keyboard and mouse that worked just as far as the logitech one. The mouse on that combo worked as far as the keyboard did and provided smooth feedback on almost every surface except glass.

Other Thoughts: The cable to recharge the mouse is NOT USB, it seems like it's one of Logitech's own proprietory connections.

My experience has told me that maybe you're better off getting a cheaper wireless keyboard. In my case, the 20 dollar keyboard/mouse combo beat the 130 dollar one.

To sum it up, keyboard works great, but mouse sucks. Bear in mind that this might have just been a random incident, nevertheless Logitech quality control really failed this time.

Pros: The performance of this wireless keyboard/mouse is exceptional provided it can communicate easily with the receiver. I started using these out of the box, they connected immediately even in the pre-OS environment. I've been playing Fallout 3 and Empire Total War for hours each day it's really nice to be able to recline and move about.

Cons: Must be used within reasonable distance and line of site restrictions. It is a low powered device so it will not perform well if the receiver stick is plugged into a computer that is behind other furniture. That is the tradeoff because a higher power transmitter would run down the batteries quickly.

Other Thoughts: Because of the location of my computer I couldn't get a reliable signal to my computer and, though it still worked well, the mouse was a bit jumpy and didn't have the perfectly smooth and precise control you need for scoring those headshots. I bought a Rosewill RHUB-310 powered USB hub and plugged the receiver into it at a higher elevation. Now I can't see a difference between the accuracy of this mouse my USB wired gaming mouse.

Cons: Mouse loses signal constantly. Had to position receiver very close to mouse and keyboard, this defeated the purpose of a "Cordless" setup as the receiver USB extension had to be in the way on my desk. Also died 11 months after purchasing.

Other Thoughts: Newegg sent me an RMA for the one-year replacement. I shipped it late so I couldn't get it replaced... I will try another model this time.

Convenient usb transceiver
The CD that comes with this allows you to set your own macros to various programs, and disable buttons (such as Caps Lock) etc.
My last keyboard/mouse were wireless but over time I spent more money on batteries. Personally I'd say this is worth 120 without the rechargeable aspect of it. But since it does, this combo is a good investment.

Cons: I don't understand half of the reviews on this website. I see some reviews saying moronic comments like "the keys are loud, especially the space bar..." Whhaaaa! By me some french cries and a whaaamburger! First off, I have this keyboard/mouse combo and the keyboard is not loud, quit pouding on the keys whoever says that. Also, this thing has not "lagged" for me ever; my guess is that if it does you are putting the wireless transceiver too far from your mouse/keyboard, or your computer is slow.
It's annoying how some products such as this I'm completely satisfied with get such poor ratings. I'm curious how many products I've passed up because of people's negative and nit picky ratings I have taken into consideration, when in fact they are 10 times better than they put them out to be.

Other Thoughts: Even if you think the keyboard/space bar is loud (which it is not), that's no reason to rate down 2 eggs. Quit crying about petty little problems, it only ruins the purchasing experience for others.

Pros: Comfortable, responsive, and solid. The mouse is large enough for me (big hands), and the battery life is apparently good as I've had it hooked up for a week with about 8 hours use per day without charging yet.

Cons: Somewhat of a con- Logitech recommends using light colored or patterned mouse surfaces, and this is viable. The mouse doesn't track well on either of my black surfaces.

Other Thoughts: If the keyboard had tactile clicks like the old IBM's, I'd have my perfect setup.

Pros: Very comfortable mouse. Liked it for the rechargeable portion because mouse batteries are always eaten up on my older bluetooth AA one. Keyboard is nice too. Does feel comfortable but not really sure how much a difference it makes. Pad is nice texture for palms as well. Fast scroll wheel option is really nice. Calculator button is really great for me.

Cons: No. 1 issue is the fact it disconnect and lags out a lot. When I say disconnect I mean you are typing a long then it stops for about 5-15 seconds. When it lags, it will actually keep some of that information (your typing) and send it all at once. Today the mouse started doing the same thing. The batteries are fully charged (all day) and the keyboard has fresh AA's. Keys are a bit loud and the space bar is really loud.

Other Thoughts: For a mild nice time sensitive user, this could probably be a nice set. If you do any gaming or anything that would require no delay for any button of 15 seconds then look somewhere else. I was really disappointed with this set because I chose it due to brand name. Fist time logitech has failed me. I will be using this for my media center pc because of its black and does not stand out in the living room and gets little use (don't type much during movies). This would get a 5 out of 5 if the disconnect did not happen.

Pros: Great combo. I bought it in a local store for a few dollars more than what Newegg was charging (I needed it quickly). The mouse is awesome and I love the quick application switch. The mouse is very precise and is solid in hand. The battery on the mouse is rechargeable via a USB wall plug. The mouse has an on-board battery indicator so you know how much juice you have left. The keyboard is great, nice quiet keys and I like the quick power button for the PC. I downloaded the latest software and everything on the devices is customizable. I think that Logitech is much better in functionality and design than Microsoft K/M.

Cons: I am not a big fan of not having a Function Lock. Whenever you want to use the special function keys you have to hold FN and press the corresponding key (like on a Dell laptop). I may be missing a step so I may be wrong. The scroll wheel on the mouse is very loose. Not loose in the sense of it's going to fall off, but there's no friction... It might just take some getting used to.

Other Thoughts: I give this combo set a 5 egg rating. Great job Logitech!

Pros: The keyboard layout is great. It is very comfortable without having to relearn key layout, like when you are on Microsoft's more extreme ergo keyboards. The keys also have a nice feel and are relatively quiet.

The mouse is great, I love the bulk making it very comfortable. The wheel spinning is great although sometimes you have problems with continued wheel movement when you aren't expecting it. But the free-spinning metal wheel is great for quickly scrolling.

The battery life is great, I have yet to replace the keyboard's battery and the mouse has only needed 2 charges since I started using it about 3 months ago.

Cons: The wheel when left to free-spin can sometimes continue to spin when you aren't expecting it.

Pros: I bought 3 sets, one for myself and the other two for two ladies that work in the front office area. They love the keyboards as they are smaller than than the keyboards they previously had. They do a lot of typing and the way the keys go inward some fits more naturally.

The mouse might be a bit heavy for some, but I like it. The charging cable for the mouse is nice as well, not having to have one more thing to take up space on an already crowded desk. The charge lasts for a very long time, I go weeks between needing to plug in the charge cable. You can continue to use the mouse while the cable is plugged in as well.

Cons: The only complaint either of them have had is the mouse is a bit heavy.

Pros: This keyboard and mouse combo works extremely well. The keys are very fluid and never stick, and are also fairly quiet while typing. The mouse is somewhat heavy, but I prefer it that way. The keyboard/mouse also have plenty of extra buttons that can be highly customized with Logitech's software. It is very comfortable to type on the keyboard and your hands will adjust very quickly to the slight wave. The range is also quite good, allowing me to lay in bed and still type and use the mouse.

Cons: The keyboard doesn't seem to work at boot menus after doing a reset of the computer, or after a crash. After normal reboots the keyboard works fine in boot menus, or from a cold boot.

Pros: - Wrist rest is soft and comfortable
- Relatively quiet keys, good tactile response

Cons: - Keyboard does not work during post or boot, only after Windows loads--this is probably the biggest reason I'll be returning it
- Mouse is very heavy, lots of inertia with sharp motions and won't stay put while typing with both hands unless surface is perfectly level
- Mouse button under thumb is easy to hit by mistake, kicks you out of full-screen apps
- Intermittent input skips unless very close to receiver and perfect LOS, makes gaming frustrating
- Keyboard is HUGE--could not use any kind of lap desk without putting mouse on another surface
- Fkeys clustered in threes instead of the usual fours, change adds nothing of value and is hard to get used to
- Flip-out risers in back pop off easily
- No caps lock light, instead it uses a software screen overlay to signal state changes that doesn't work in full-screen apps

Other Thoughts: I bought this for the HTPC in my living room and have regretted it ever since. Most wireless desktops have their flaws, but this one has a lot of them that won't be apparent until you've used it. The inability to use the keyboard during bootup was really the last straw; it makes it impossible to enter safe mode or switch OS's.

The Wave Pro might be okay for an average user who doesn't game, sits at a level desk with plenty of room and the receiver right in front of them, and who doesn't mind a lot of odd quirks. For anyone who games, dislikes gimmicky designs in their input devices, or plans on using it with a lap desk, HTPC or TV, look elsewhere--this is a terrible, overpriced product littered top to bottom with bad design choices seemingly made for the sake of being different rather than being useful.

Cons: Occasional intermittent random keyboard dropouts just ruin the experience. You can be going along just fine and suddenly the keyboard will stop responding. If you think that's annoying playing games, it's a killer if you're trading online!

Other Thoughts: Updated drivers/software, moved location of PC, tried during different phases of the moon, etc. and nothing seems to solve this problem permanently.

Pros: Mouse is very responsive and is totally customizable in Windows and OS X. Based on some research, it looks like it would not be hard to get it rocking in Linux, I just haven't gotten around to it.

The keyboard's buttons are very comfortable. This is the only keyboard I've ever been able to accurately hit the numbers. I've got most of the special buttons working in OS X, but that is far from a deal breaker for me. The pad is nice.

The USB charger for the mouse is a nice touch. Overall battery life on both the keyboard and mouse are good (please use rechargeables).

Cons: The keyboard is a bit larger than I thought it would be (but it is comfortable).

Other Thoughts: The OS X support could be better. That said, it's far better than any keyboard Apple makes. I'm using it to control a Ubuntu box via Synergy (MBP as the server), so I'm not sure if some on the odd behavior in due to wonky Linux support or issues with Synergy. The only really annoying thing in my set up is the the scroll wheel in Ubuntu. However, this seems to be more an issue w/ Synergy and less with Logitech. It seems to work fine when directly connected.

Pros: Comfortable for typing and quiet key presses. Plenty of extra features and buttons to interface with your media applications. No noticeable delay when compared to my standard wired keyboard/mouse. Seems to work well with various types of games and has no problems with several keys being pressed simultaneously. The power switch on each device is a welcome addition. One of the accessories is a USB cable that can either charge from an outlet or directly as if you were using a wired mouse. Remarkable battery life.

Cons: Whoever designed the ergonomics on the mouse erred on the side of style; it's much larger than my current wired mouse and gripping it so that you have access to all the buttons takes some getting used to. Also, there is a button where your thumb rests that doesn't seem to behave well with games. Media control buttons on the keyboard are a bit dodgy in Winamp and other third-party media software. If the devices don't have a clear path towards the receiver, it can occasionally drop inputs. Sometimes the keyboard will take a couple seconds to "wake up" if you don't hit any keys for a while (hasn't been a problem in games), though this may be some power-saving feature.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this set to complement a gaming/media center PC in my home theater, and I'm honestly impressed. It worked out of the box and installing the software isn't necessary if you don't care about the extra buttons. I decided to get a USB extension cable to ensure there was little between my keyboard/mouse and the receiver, so I don't experience any lag or dropped inputs unless the battery gets very low. It performs up to my demanding standards in action and strategy games alike, even allowing me to play in a slouching position on the couch if my batteries are charged well enough. A note on the battery life: I've owned the set and used it about 15-20 hours per week consistently since New Years, and I've had to charge the mouse three times and replace the batteries on the keyboard once so far. I always turn the power off on both devices since simply turning one on is enough to trigger the PC's "wake on USB" function if enabled it in the BIOS. Pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Pros: Great keyboard/mouse combo here! I totally love it. Haven't had any issues with the two yet and the install was completely seamless, no trouble whatsoever. Keyboard fits perfectly and the extra buttons are great, especially the music controls. The feel of the keyboard makes it seem like they put alot into the board for the value. The mouse fits great into my hand and while I love all the buttons, I totally don't need them all even though I am avid gamer. It's still nice to be able to change the scroll to a free scroll or the familiar click.

Cons: Nothing so far. Maybe something later, but I doubt it at this point.

Other Thoughts: If you really want to spend the money for something like this make sure that you test it at a store first, I read that on another review and tried it, and bought this one right away. The mouse did things that I didn't think that Windows 7 could even do, like scrolling through separate open windows on the desktop. Just remember to plug the mouse in at night. Turn off the mouse when you do this cause your gonna drain the battieres out quickly and then think that the mouse is a piece of junk.

Rating + 5 Best Keyboard I Have EVER Used


Pros: This keyboard is quiet and responsive. There are multiple extra features that you will actually use as opposed to many other HTPC type keyboards such as shortcut keys for screen magnification and window toggling. The mouse comes with a charger that you never need to use because it holds a charge for a VERY long time. The wave form is very comfortable to type on and let's face it, this thing just looks cool.

Cons: Occassionally the keyboard misses a stroke but seems to have some sort of memory mechanism that allows it to catch up so to speak. Although that also may be because of my wicked fast mad type skills. I also had a problem with interference from my 2.4 GHZ Gyration Air Mouse and Keyboard Combination. I solved this problem by placing the 2.4GHZ USB receivers a ways away from each other by way of a USB Hub. I have a HTPC set up with a fascade hiding all of the wires below the TV and HTPC, so this approach might not work for everyone who is not a media geek like me.

Other Thoughts: I am the cheapest tech and media geek that can be found. If there is a way to cut a corner or save a dollar while still retaining a quality product, I will do it. I am astounding on how expensive this keyboard and mouse combination is, but have been through about three or for Wireless devices, including Gyration Full Keyboard. It has been a painful process with RMAs and faulty equipment, lack of range, et cetera. This product is worth the money if you are working from home, or just want a nice HTPC setup.

Pros: I bought the wired Wave keyboard about a year ago, and liked it a lot so I decided to pick up a wireless one for my home computer. A compact keyboard this is not, but the palm rest is fairly comfortable and for me the key response is pretty decent.

Love the ergo mouse and the ability to switch between clicky/smooth scroll wheel action. It might be a little on the hefty side for some though (162g). The mouse uses a single rechargeable AA battery, and can be charged via USB or wall wart.

Cons: No linux drivers, so many of the function buttons are unavailable. The media keys and some of the silver programmable buttons can be used, but that's about it. Haven't been able to get the blue Fn keys to work.

For some inexplicable reason, there is no keyboard indicator for Caps/Num lock. I'm assuming under Windows, Caps/Num lock status is somehow indicated by a taskbar applet, but under Linux you pretty much don't know until you start typing.

The keyboard uses 2 AA batteries, and *CANNOT* be recharged via USB/wall wart. This would have been a nice feature to have, making it similar to the mouse.

Other Thoughts: The keys on my particular keyboard are a little stickier than my corded Wave, so I sometimes end up with repeated letters. Could just be that my corded Wave is a little more broken in though.

The Home/End/Delete/PgUp/PgDn cluster is arranged vertically and takes some getting used to.

Pros: Mouse and keyboard are very comfortable. I like the extra buttons on the mouse. You can charge the mouse while using it. I like the usb setup. I notice no lag.

Cons: The software is buggy. Sometimes it wont save the changes u made to the mouse buttons, sometimes it will. Setpoint 4.6 generally works but doesnt allow the dpi buttons to be changed. Setpoint 4.7 fixes the dpi, but wont detect game settings

Pros: Comfortable keyboard that suits my hands nicely. Normally I don't give ergonomics a lot of credit, but this keyboard impressed me when typing. Nice and quiet, also. It has a good array of media and utility buttons. The mouse has plenty of buttons for gaming, and both devices are fast and responsive. No issues with multiple keys being pressed simultaneously like I've experienced with cheaper wireless keyboards. The charges also seem to last quite a while. The power switches are a nice touch, and simply by turning on the keyboard your computer will recognize it as a "wake-up" signal when asleep if you set it to power on by USB in the BIOS.

Cons: Some of the media buttons are dodgy and intermittent. Like another reviewer, I found the mouse a bit difficult to get used to--it's like they erred on the side of style rather than comfort. You generally have to have a pretty clear line of sight from the keyboard/mouse to the receiver.

Other Thoughts: I was searching for a headache-free accompaniment to my gaming PC in the living room and this did not disappoint. There is a lower-priced version with a different mouse (and identical keyboard as far as I can tell), but I opted for this model due to the three thumb buttons and power switches as opposed to "connect" buttons. Since I (finally) developed a decent grip for the mouse it's been very smooth and accurate. While the media buttons on the keyboard don't work quite as well as I'd expect them to, I'm don't tend to futz with the music or dvds once they get started anyways. Another note on the charge: I've been using these for 2-3 hours a day on average since early January, and so far have only had to recharge the mouse and change batteries on the keyboard once.

Pros: Flawless, lagfree, dropfree key input. I tested it out on a bunch of twitch games vs. my wired kb and there was zero difference.
It also passes the mash test, which is a pretty good indicator of what you can expect from gaming actually. The mouse was tight too, though I didn't quite get used to it yet. I didn't test the range, but I had the dongle in the top usb port of my case which is beneath a solid oak desk. Did I mention the connection was flawless? Most wireless kb's will have the slightest lag to them that most people won't notice. If you'd hit jump, it acts almost like an alley-oop (for lack of a better term). It almost jumps by the time you release the key, instead of when it's first pressed. You can read up on all the features, but out of the 4 different wireless kb's I tested (Wave, MX3200, Pro 2800) this is the only one really worthy of gaming on.
Oh, the palm rest is really comfy too... It feels almost leathery, but you can depress it with a moderate squeeze.

Cons: HUGE! This thing is twice the size of the kb I'm typing on now. We're talking snowboard!
Mouse is overly ergo, and though it has the responsiveness and DPI for gaming, I was struggling. It more or less requires you to hold it a certain way and my tracking was all out of whack (would spin and find myself looking at the floor). It's not the mouse's fault, but I've put thousands of hours into more traditinally shaped mice and my muscle memory was fighting this one hard. I was kind of getting used to it, and was becoming pleased until...

Other Thoughts: ...my wife made me return it! My gaming computer is our main computer, and being the nice guy I am let her have a more standard-shaped wireless setup. I miss my Wave. I miss it because I'm WEAK!
Seriously though, it doesn't only get buy as a gaming keyboard, it excels! Some logi's keyblock poorly (can't hit w,a,space or keypad 8,6,enter), but this one has no such problems. If logi would come out with a more normal form factor with the exact same polling rate from the kb (frequency it sends data, not the rate at which it can send it), I'm all over it.
Oh, and I felt the key layout was fine for typing. It felt a bit different, but was transparent to me after an hour or so.

So, strange new computer desk begging for wireless but you're a gamer? Fear not! The Wave Pro is the ticket!

*purchase was not from Newegg since I've been having to buy/return for ages trying to find the right setup.

Pros: Mouse is astounding. Both keyboard and mouse seem to be lag/latency free, and are plug and play. The software really ignites them though. Built in wrist pad makes the keyboard *VERY* comfortable to type on. Function abilities both on the mouse and keyboard make routine computing a breeze. Quality seems to be top notch on both fronts as well. Mouse's 'on the fly' sensitivity controls are AWESOME for gaming.

Cons: If I were nitpicking I'd say I was expecting "more" for the money. I was under the impression this is one of the best wireless keyboards available from Logitech, a seemingly forceful giant in the industry. And though I see the battery life benefits of leaving out these features, I'd have liked to see a backlight on the keyboard, or perhaps a decent low-light LCD or HUD display. Also, the tapering of the buttons to fit the ergonomic design forced me to learn to do things like CTRL + Enter and a few other hotkey combos with a different keystroke motion. Again, nitpicking.

Other Thoughts: Newegg crammed this into a box with a SATA cable in a bag, and my 1TB Seagate HDD. The only buffer between them and the bustling fellow carrying it to and fro, from them to me, was a sad 15 ft string of thick paper crunched into a thin sleeve. Luckily Logitech boxes this stuff in safe shippable packaging anyways. We'll see on the HDD. 5 eggs for the product though.

Pros: nice feel, sturdy, responsive, wireless and with good reception and energy usesage. I was skeptical going grom a saitec gaming keyboard and logitec mx518 to this new set up.... Mouse is a bit heaver, less dpi however easy to customize it's speed to adapt. all in all i am very happy about this. keyboard has nice flow and feel to it.. really wasn't sure what to expect with an ergo---- however my hands fit it like it were a glove. cool thing about this keyboard is that cap loc, num loc, and anything else displays on monitor screen when you interact with it. never had to assisgn keys or map keys,, vista ultimate was perfect match.

Cons: would be nice if keyboard could light up------

Other Thoughts: newegg had best price out there------like always.

Pros: Awesome keyboard, everytime I start typing I think, wow this is really nice to type on. and the mouse, oh the mouse is friggin amazing, best mouse ever in my humble opinion, software is customizable by application, making the keyboard and mouse perfect for whatever you happen to be doing at the time. Totally awesome

Cons: for awhile I had the reciever behind the keyboard and mouse, and let me tell you, the signal sucked. It seems that the strength of the signal is true, but only for one direction... thats why I knocked it down a star. Sucks when you are playing world in conflict and suddenly your troops are stuck in the middle of a battlefield unprotected due to a faulty keyboard stroke

Pros: One of the best keyboard/mouse combos on the market. The layout of this keyboard just feels natural along with the mouse. The mouse is very smooth and responsive. The combo also serves as an excellent gaming input device. I use this setup to play Call of Duty 5 and it works EXCELLENT. It's a little pricey, but you have to pay for quality. This one is a keeper!

Rating + 5 Presently the best keyboard/mouse combo out there.


Pros: Great mouse/keyboard combo - the Wave keyboard is a nice compromise between the conventional and the ergonomic (a la Microsoft Natural Keyboard) designs not requiring a huge amount of change. The MX1100 mouse is good - very similar form factor as the Revolution - and the wireless dongle is small.

Cons: Was not compatible with my iogear GCS1714 KVM. Logitech in fact does not support product usage with KVMs altogether.

Other Thoughts: Reportedly the Trendnet TK-207K or 407K will work with this keyboard. Will report once I test it out.

Pros: Comfortable, 1st rate quality, excellent radio range, good for gaming.

Cons: Nothing.

Other Thoughts: I was using an old model Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse and unfortunatly, it wasn't compatable with Windows Vista. I was in the market for a new keyboard and really liked all the features of the Logitech Wave Pro, but was reluctant on the price. But after plugin it in and using it for a few days, that feeling that I spent to much has slipped away. The quality, the precision, the comfort will put a smile on your face from ear to ear! If your looking at this keyboard/mouse combo and are thinking about the premium price, DON'T!! you won't regreat it.

Pros: It's a nice keyboard, I like how it feels, it has a good wireless range for my purposes and I like the programmability.

Cons: Mac drivers are available both for the keyboard and the mouse, and many of the keys are programmable. But the right-hand bank of keys, including the number pad, "num lock", "del", and "ins" keys, are inoperative with my MacBook Pro. Only a few of the remaining scroll keys work.

So I contacted Logitech technical support via their email system. At first I was told that the keyboard is not compatible with the Mac. When I questioned that statement (the package claims Mac compatibility, and the drivers work fine), I was told that it *was* Mac compatible, but that I would need to uninstall the drivers to get it to work. I did so -- the result was that I lost key programmability, and the right-hand bank was still inoperative. So I reinstalled the drivers, and now it's been a couple of days since my last email to technical support and they haven't written back -- honestly, I don't think they have a clue. And they're barely trying.

Pros: High quality components. Keyboard is comfortable but the design is not outlandish. Excellent signal quality. MX1100 rechargeable mouse has most of the benefits of the MX Revolution with none of the weaknesses. Single USB receiver for both devices. No lag. Lower price than the MX5500.

Cons: Keyboard is not backlit, which would have been nice, and the mouse could stand another button for this user. It gives up some features to the MX5500 set.

Other Thoughts: It came down to this vs the MX5500 for me. This is an excellent set. It's a RF unit, not Bluetooth, so you trade potential for lag with potential for signal issues versus a Bluetooth unit. That said, I have not seen any reception problems with the dongle up front (hanging from the side of my monitor which has USB ports) even as far away as 15 feet. The MX1100 is different from the standalone version - it uses a standard rechargeable, replaceable AA battery, and it charges with a USB cord that plugs into the front of the mouse making that cable act just like a cord for a typical corded mouse - Brilliant! The keyboard is similar to the standalone model, but wireless. Price is not much different vs. buying the two items separately, however the benefits (rechargeable mouse, wireless keyboard, single USB receiver) are tangible. This is an excellent package, and overall I prefer it over the MX5500.

Pros: so far it seems like a high quality product. the keyboard is amazingly quiet, and is the next best thing to a fully split keyboard. the mouse is the big kicker, on-the-fly DPI and lots of extra buttons make it great for gaming. comfort is the biggest plus for this keyboard/mouse set

Cons: the adapter needs to be in front of your monitor and computer. for some reason it will loose connection for a split second which is very noticeable while gaming. but that is an easy fix

Other Thoughts: buy it if you want a keyboard and mouse set for gaming. MAKE SURE THAT YOU GET THE PRO VERSION, the regular versions mouse is awful.

Pros: Near flawless keyboard and wireless mouse. Incredible battery life, rechargeable mouse (cord included). Mouse could be too big if you know you have obviously small hands ..average is ok. This fully featured wireless mouse is not too big. The signal is as good as Logitech claims it is (on thier website) and gets no interferance from my nearby other wireless set, bluetooth, and wireless N router. This is one of those solid Logitech products. I game with this. 9 feet tested so far. Perfect for me. Mouse replaced an MX518.

Cons: The hidden button is a little wonky (for lack of a better descrip.) and not usefull for games IMO.

Newegg was more expensive than buying direct from Logitech on this item. I did use a public cupon though.

Other Thoughts: Everyone familiar with the Wave series knows that the keyboard in this package is fantastic but the mouse, while maybe not fantastic, is also good enough anyone except the very most damanding gamer ..maybe a hypersensitive one. I am 5 foot 6 inches ..and am average build and the mouse is just about a perfect fit for my hand. Buttons are easy to reach.

Pros: Keyboard is very comfortable and seems very high quality. Mouse is even more comfortable. Ability to switch between free-spinning hyperscrolling and regular ratcheted scrolling is the way every mouse should be from now on.

Cons: Range with direct line of sight was only 9 ft before mouse movement was glitchy. With receiver TWO feet away on back of computer, keystrokes would be missed (which was very obvious in gaming). My 24" monitor was pretty much blocking the signal, but who doesn't have a monitor in front of their keyboard? Tower was on desk two feet away at same level, not inside a desk, but out in the open and still missed keystrokes from 2 ft...
So, If you are not worried about range (you have usb ports on your monitor, or you don't mind putting the receiver on a front usb port, or buy a usb extension like me) this keyboard/mouse combo looks/feels/is incredible for typing and gaming.

Other Thoughts: My 4.5 year old Mx700 combo (that I absolutely loved)was ruined by Hurricane Ike. It had better range than this combo. I purchased a usb extension and now have the receiver suspended below my monitor and no more interference issues. For this price, it should come with a usb dock. If you have a usb port on your monitor this would be fine.
The mouse and keyboard are VERY comfortable and seem to be very high quality, but it needs a stronger signal or something. This 2.4GHz signal seems to have a worse range than the older RF signal combos.
I almost RMA'd it b/c I couldn't game well with the free-spinning scroll wheel(which is awesome for regular page scrolling). I then figured out I could push a button and change it to the old ratcheted style for gaming. Nice....
