Great Computer Monitor
Pros: Great Monitor, Good Color Replication.
Cons: No Picture in picture, Touch Button on the front is kind of annoying and I have to try a couple times before it will click on. The second HDMI is on the side and is kind of awkward to use all the time. No standard wall mount options.
Other Thoughts: It works well for a computer monitor but with the lack of a standard wall mount it will be hard to use this for a TV in a small space.

Wow, great addition to my home office
Pros: Purchased this to replace two Samsung SyncMaster 906bw monitors that I was using in my video business (which is now closed). Using for minor editing jobs, but mainly for net surfing, some school/office work, watching movies through my home network, Second Life, etc. This thing is HUGE, and make watching movies with surround sound a crazy-cool experience in my small home office. I could not be happier with this piece of equipment, however...
Cons: Paid a little too much for it through Newegg, unfortunately. The day after I ordered it, Office Depot had the same monitor on sale for $300.00, and I could have had it a couple of days earlier.
Other Thoughts: The monitor was a gift to myself from a stipend/windfall I received for some web work. Samsung has always been a reliable brand for us (one 21-inch model not withstanding - power supply failed in two within a week of each other!). Looking forward to enjoying this bad boy a long time.

nonsense
Pros: incredible. HDTV comes in very good. the waking up from sleep thing is solved with updated drivers. do yourself a favor get this instead of the asus 27 inch.
Cons: everything can always be better, but at this price not much.
Other Thoughts: used 5850, MSI 790fx-gd70, ati 5850 HIS, superduper!

SAMSUNG TOC T260HD Rose Black 25.5"
Pros: I have had several monitors and this is about the best I have ever owned! It compares with my Dell Ultra Sharp 21.5 Wide Screen. For the money I don't think there is a better monitor that I know off. The outer edge light bleed is very minimal. I mean it does not show up on the edges of the screen. You will not be sorry you bought this Samsung TOC T260HD Monitor!! It also makes a wonderful tv to.
Cons: So far none.
Other Thoughts: I had bought a Hanns·G HH-281HPB Black 28" witch was the worst monitor I ever owned. After a week and a half I returned to new egg. The outer edge light bleed was terrible. I am not stretching the truth, 2 inches in on all four sides were unvisitable the light bleed made arms, head or any part of a dark object disappear. My 19" Hanns wide screen I bought 5yrs. ago was fine so I thought it should be ok to buy the same brand? Not!! So save yourself time and money and get the SAMSUNG TOC T260HD. You want be sorry!!

Pros: Big screen, not overly bright, easy to use.
Cons: The power button, second HDMI input is too close to the headphone jack, no tilt, no swivel, colors wash out slightly if not viewing directly.
Other Thoughts: Now every time I go use someone else's PC to work on, I feel blind.

Not happy with service
Pros: Was nice looking before it went to the service department
Cons: Known robotic sound issues Service department sent mine back with a well worn bezel that is scratched up and looks as if it was dragged across the floor a few miles
Other Thoughts: I am very upset & haven't checked the sound yet

Only quibble lack of standard mounting
Pros: A lot of monitor for the money. Works well with Windows 7. Bright, lots of color. Haven't seen any bad pixels.
Cons: Lack of standard mounting for those who'd like to put it on a wall.
Other Thoughts: Stand does swivel--the swivel is located under the top housing, which turns with the monitor making it appear that there is no swivel. Also, sleep mode was an issue with the generic PNP driver, but a quick download of the updated driver solved the problem. Awakens from sleep mode within a few seconds. Haven't tried the TV tuner; using this as a computer monitor right now.

Monitor is VERY slow to wake from power save, otherwise decent
Pros: - Was the cheapest monitor of the size for the price with the features I needed
- Decent picture quality when viewed straight-on
- Built-in HDTV tuner
- Does have wall/VESA wall mounting kit available separately for extra $$$
Cons: **** - Monitor is EXTREMELY slow to wake from power save mode, if it ever does. Sometimes I even have to turn if off then turn it back on again to get it to work ****
- Mounting can only be done with a separately sold bracket, and the bracket is badly balanced (monitor is top-heavy relative to where the bracket has its mounting)
- Power button is touch sensitive and annoying, especially coupled with the power save issue
- No DisplayPort
Other Thoughts: The power save issue is a huge issue, you sit at your computer then jiggle the mouse but have to wait around for sometimes a full minute after that to get the monitor to wake up. My SyncMaster 912T by comparison switches on within 3 seconds.
Other reviewers on this site have mentioned the power save issue, it's not just me.
Those minutes of waiting for the monitor to wake add up, I would recommend AGAINST this monitor solely for this reason.

Great value, but not perfect
Pros: * Decent price for HDTV + 1920x1200 * Brighter than expected * Viewing angles are not an issue for Gaming/computer use (once positioned properly) * No noticeable input lag
Cons: * Cannot wall mount (connections are made horizontal in the back, but looks like you can get the Samsung WMB2400T kit) * Stand does tilt, but only upwards, cannot tilt down past 90° * Stand doesn't "swivel" as claimed, you just physically turn the monitor/stand * Takes a LONG time to turn on from sleep - always a few seconds after my other displays, and sometimes even taking close to a minute * Lots of ugly text on the bezel (1080P, HDMI, HDTV, Energy star) * Text and other bright colors reflect onto the bezel at the edges of the screen. It's not too distracting, but my other 2 monitors don't do this as bad * Red glow when in sleep mode is annoying. All my other displays and devices have blue lights
Other Thoughts: I'm happy overall. I knew getting a cheap TN display would not provide the highest quality, in terms of viewing angles and portrait mode. I'm using it in a 3-monitor Eyefinity setup for now, but will replace it later and turn it into a TV/Monitor for my kid's room later. For the money it does as advertised, and is a great compact TV+Monitor for small apartments/dorm rooms/kid rooms.
However, if you want to do portrait mode or have viewing angle concerns, then get an IPS display. Just plan to spend double or more. This is a great monitor for "good enough" Eyefinity gaming.

Nice large monitor
Pros: I am very happy with this large monitor. Samsung seems to have good screens for most of their products. I use it for IRacing.Com and it works great with that simulation.
Cons: None for me - but others might like to have the ability to wall mount.
Other Thoughts: Shipping was really slow. I would subtract an egg or two towards newegg or UPS but not this product.

Pros: I spent about 2 months researching monitors and eventually decided that this was the best one for the price. I have not been disappointed yet. Dragon Age: Origins looks excellent on it. I'm able to multitask much better with the increased resolution.
I can work on coding a few different programs at once while watching a movie on my 16:9 HDTV very nicely.
Cons: The increased ability to multitask has inadvertently fueled my ADD.

Very nice, but not perfect.
Pros: 1. Size 2. Picture (HD is great!) 3. Price! (Love you newegg) 4. Appearance (This thing is pretty) 5. Easy of Use (Menu is simple) 6. DVI and HDMI
Cons: 1. Viewing angles (Web pages discolor if you lean to one side) 2. Width (I have to turn my head to read websites:p) 3. No PiP (but it's not a big thing with me) 4. Didn't hook itself up (Come on robotic TVs!) 5. Had to pay for it.
Other Thoughts: I knew it was a TN panel and knew that viewing angle wasn't going to be awesome, but it isn't that bad either. It's noticeable only on mostly white websites.
Seriously though, this is a great TV/Monitor. It picks up clear HD stations very well. Buy it if you are looking for a hybrid.
I don't even have my ATi HD tuner hooked up anymore.

Not bad, but annoying.
Pros: Great color, i have no problems with view angles, or color bleeding. The backlight isn't much of an issue either. 1080p looks great for my PS3 and my computer. High Resolution is great too. Size and price. It's relatively new though so may see changes very soon.
Cons: I have recently viewed more reviews and have noticed a similar problem with this monitors sleep mode. IT WILL NOT TURN ON. Screen saver pops up so i turn it off come back 30min later and it will not wake up at all. Tried turning it off and back on...no help. Very annoying problem cause i have to either restart my computer or detach it from my duel monitor setup and reattach it.
Other Thoughts: If i would have known that it had this problem with PC's i would have never bought it and forked out an extra 100$ for a decent 32'' TV. It works fine for consoles though. But if this is for a computer i would not highly recommend it.

Samsung T260HD
Pros: Huge monitor plug n play High resolution monitor great HD reception and picture quality nice remote lots of connections picture tuning options
Cons: slow to wake up red glow on the bottom
Other Thoughts: I've had it for a few days now. it looks really nice as a PnP PC monitor with win 7 on the highest resolution. The reception is really good. it picked up more stations than my Pioneer Elite TV did. The picture quality is excellent on both HD TV and Netflix. Not sure what other people expect from the sound quality but it sounds fairly good to me for dialogs and such. not for sound effects for sure. I think this TV/Monitor is excellent for the price.

Samug tHD260
Pros: Cheap, really big monitor with fast refresh, many inputs, HD Interlaced support. No dead pixels.
I guess it has a HD tuner, but I will never use this feature.
Clean crisp text at 1920x1200. Slightly letterboxed 1080i which is obvious since this is a 16:10 monitor. Not a TV. If you buy it as a TV, understand there will be black top and bottom that will not distort the 1080 picture.
Cons: Poor greyscale uniformity. Viewing angle grey display is not for color grading. If you want to do basic sRGB grading, you will need to view the display from a 10o higher angle than the panel normal (right in front.)
The monitor loses color reproduction in the darkest 25%. I lose contrast accuity in the top 33% of the monitor while playing Borderlands, for instance. Bu refresh is very nice. You could increase overall brightness to 'correct' for the viewing anlgle games issue.
Other Thoughts: Great refresh rate. Sharp pixels. Decent sRGB but overly angle reliant. If you need very accurate color representation while sacrificing refresh speed, you need to spend more for a smaller monitor. Look at the NEC line of Pro monitors. Perhaps the Dell Ultraharps as well.
Professionals should avoid this TN panel if it's your main color spec monitor.

Excellent Monitor!
Pros: Excellent monitor! I have this one set up next to my old Samsung 19", and there's a huge difference in how bright and clear the colors are on this one compared to the old one. The whites especially are noticeably brighter, even with the 19" set to maximum brightness. The size upgrade is just right; if I went any bigger, I think I would have to sit farther back from my desk to avoid eye strain. (I'm sitting about 2 1/2 - 3 feet away from it). No dead pixels, and I thoroughly checked for them.
Cons: Yes, it does attract dust, and the stand does not allow for much movement. However, if I had the option to adjust the height, I would not do so anyway because it sits at the perfect height on my desk as it is.
Other Thoughts: I noticed some complaints about the power button. I think the problem is that we're accustomed to "pressing" buttons on electronics, but for this monitor, it is best to just slide your finger across the touch sensitive area. If you do this, you'll have no problem.
Also, to get the appearance I wanted, I had to change the default settings a bit (Constrast --> 90, Brightness --> 85, Sharpness --> 50).
Great buy at a fair price... definitely worth getting!

Nice monitor
Pros: Huge. Vibrant color (as Samsung almost always is). Tool-less install. Very small base, but still sturdy. Works great as a monitor. Has coax input and a remote. Price is great at $320. Text is crisp, works great for anything on the computer (gaming, coding, movies). Haven't used it as a TV yet, but I'm sure it would look great there too. Setup was quick and easy.
Cons: Touch screen power button is annoying when you want to turn it on or off in low light. There is nothing that designates where to press it except a tiny little icon, which is impossible to see at night. I end up just using the remote to turn it on or off, which is kind of sad because I'm sitting in front of it. The touch area is responsive, if you can find it. It's only like as wide as your finger though.
Other Thoughts: Having this beast next to my 24 inch monitor makes the 24 inch look small. People say the viewing angles are bad, but I haven't noticed anything using it as a monitor in a dual screen setup.
I'll probably put a tiny bit of scotch tape near the power button spot to touch so I can feel for it at night. That's it's only drawback.

Awesome monitor!
Pros: This is a beautiful monitor that I don't regret buying for one second. If you can afford it, it's worth every penny (but it wouldn't hurt if it was cheaper). For the TV's specs, read Newegg's description of it, but for me - as a college student wanting a TV and a computer monitor for my new desktop, this is perfect. No dead pixels!
Cons: Like others have said, it really is a dust magnet. Be prepared to wipe it pretty often or leave a cover over it throughout non-use. The stand is really cheap and doesn't provide for height adjustment.
Other Thoughts: I was afraid that UPS would ruin my monitor before it even came to me, but it seems like it's in pristine shape. I do see some weird marks on the edge of the monitor (along the clear plastic) but it doesn't seem like it's serious at all. If you want to be extremely careful, I recommend you order with FedEX to ensure that your monitor will be alive and well.

Very Disappointed
Pros: Bigger screen
Cons: The screen is more like a back lit projection screen than a LCD... like those DLP TVs. The higher quality is just not there. Shift a few degrees in any direction and the screen starts to fade/washout. Also, at 1920x1200 @ 25.5" isn't as great as 1920x1200 @24" - the smaller the screen the better.
It's hard to give a good review when your last monitor was much better than this. I must admit that I was persuaded by the many so-called "great reviews" and 1x customer choice award winner by this product. So the fault is not mine.
I wish I could send it back :(
Other Thoughts: My opinion is based on an Acer AL2423W which has an excellent screen and none of the above flaws. I was going to go with the Acer 27" but as you know they are out of stock at Newegg. Now, I wish I had waited.
Also I have a 50" Samsung plasma which is also excellent so I'm greatly disappointed by this Samsung offering. Next time, I'm going to have to "see" the actual quality of the monitor in person before buying it.
The 27.5" Hanns-G was an option but I didn't want to take a risk on a lower quality product. Oh well, You live you learn.

Beautiful Monitor
Pros: A great monitor. I went from a 20" to this and the difference is huge. 1920 x 1200 resolution is great. The setup was easy and color was good right out iof the box. Color is even better with a minimum of tweaking. The wife thought it was too big when the box showed up. I had to tell her that there is no such thing as "too big" when it comes to tvs and monitors :)
Cons: A lack of any adjutment in the stand. I knew this when I bought it so I'm adjusting the base where the stand sits.
Other Thoughts: Excellent value. Shipping was free and unbelievably fast. Ordered on a Tuesday afternoon, UPS had it on my doorstep on Wednesday afternoon.

Overjoyed!
Pros: - Large. Very. - Good color right out of the box, tweaking makes it even better. - Doubles as HDTV with own tuner - Low latency of 5ms means there's just the teeeeniest amount of ghosting during gaming, but I only notice it when I'm actually looking for it. - Looks classy and sleek. See Cons as well... - Not heavy despite size. - Adequate viewing angle. - Recovers from sleep/hibernate properly. It seems that some LCD's have trouble with that, but not this one. - Powers up quickly. - D-Sub, DVI, x2 HDMI, Coax, and Component inputs. - No noticeable "bleeding" of light around the edges of the screen. - NO dead/stuck pixels. - Bought it discounted @ 330 from 370 :) - Doesn't produce much heat. - Good documentation on paper and the included CD. - Driver for x64 bit Windows available on manufacturer's website. Don't worry, it still works without the driver. - Has speakers. Not very good, but at least it has them :) - Clever little power button. - Dec
Cons: - As I said, it does look really gorgeous with a cool glossy finish, but FINGERPRINTS! Man do they stick out! Might bring out your OCD side you never knew you had :) - Stand is a bit wobbly, not enough to be upset about.
Other Thoughts: Upgraded to this bad boy from an old 19" 1280x1024 monitor, so you can imagine the grin on my face right now. I was worried it would be TOO big for use as a computer monitor and contemplated getting a 22/24" instead. Turns out it's just perfect. Glad I didn't wimp out and get a smaller one :D
1080p video looks marvelous :D Of course this monitor is 1200 vertical, not 1080 vertical, so you do get little black bars above and below 1080 videos, but I really don't mind. I kind of like them there anyway.

Good Deal, But With Serious Flaws
Pros: 1) Large enough for people sitting 10 ft away to watch 2) 1200 vertical lines instead of 1080 3) Nice, easy-to-use remote 4) Intelligent, simple menu options 5) Decent connectivity 5) Multiple aspect ratio options 6) Displays TWO word document pages at once (@ native resolution) 7) No ghosting 8) Doubles as a TV 9) Built-in speakers are loud and can be connected to computer 10) Overall good picture quality.
Cons: 1) Vertical viewing angle is poor. Above is not too bad, but sit on the floor and you'll see the image no more 2) Backlight bleeding - noticeable but doesn't interfere with the image very much 3) No tilt or height adjustment really sucks 4) Bad speakers for listening to music due to lack of bass 5) Turning the power on and off often causes the monitor to swivel a few degrees. Not a big deal but a little annoying. 6) The screen may be too big for some. If you can't be AT LEAST 3 feet away, you may want to opt for a 22-24 incher.
Other Thoughts: This monitor is a good value, but lacks several essential features. The viewing angle could be greatly improved, and the height/tilt adjustment is badly needed. ***** Also, as a note to those wondering about the touch power button, in my view, it is an excellent innovation. The power button on my Dell UltraSharp 2007FP (my previous monitor) broke long before I stopped using the monitor, and as a result I was forced to use the power settings within windows to turn off the screen. This possibility is largely avoided with a touch button, as there are no mechanical parts to damage. OVERALL, this monitor was a good buy, but consider buying another with a better viewing angle that is physically adjustable if the TV option isn't important to you.

Great Value.
Pros: Great all in one HDTV/Monitor. Stylish. At the price I paid, the added ATSC tuner was free compared to other similar sized LCD's only. All essential inputs. Decent quality picture and color. Remote control.
Cons: First unit had UPS shipping damage. No height adjustments. Not wallmountable. Side buttons are a little inconvenient. It has a front touch control for power, so why not just have all touch menu's?
Other Thoughts: I ordered another unit to replace the damaged one, and Newegg credited the RMA, and made the process very painless. This LCD get's 5 stars for the value. Newegg's price was great on this, with Free Shipping.

Fantastic Monitor
Pros: This monitor is an awesome value. Great picture & color for TV, as a computer monitor, and video game systems. No dead pixels. You can put this anyplace in the house and it will look great. I registered it online in about 5 minutes. Samsung has great customer support. I have other Samsung TV's, monitors and hard drives and the one time I had a problem they took good care of me. it was an easy process.
Cons: None with the monitor that I'm aware of at this time. I wish new egg would offer free shipping through FedEx. UPS never delivers on time (sometimes several days late) and the box is always beat up.
Other Thoughts: No I don't work for Samsung. I've had problems with other company's customer service and the one time I had a problem with a Samsung product they extended the warranty 11 months after it expired because the same problem occurred a second time. I wouldn't expect this to happen again but it shows their commitment to their customers and they should be commended.

Great PC monitor, TV is nice too.
Pros: Considering there really aren't too many monitors that have both a TV tuner and is a great PC monitor.. This was an obvious choice for my needs at my place of business.. The guys that say the Monitor has washed out colors are probably using a DVI cable. I first used the DVI hook ups with my PC and the colors are dead set at 50% with no option to adjust, which tends to make the colors a tad drab. My advice is to use a DVI adapter with the VGA cable.. This will allow you to adjust the color settings and add more color to your liking..Once this is done your colors will POP and all things you need a nice BIG monitor for will look just right..!!
Cons: A PIP option.. A monitor that does TV this is a no brainer however this is not an option for this set.. Something SAMSUNG can consider for future models. USE the vga set up for your PC or you will not be able to adjust colors when using this for your PC..
Other Thoughts: It is very nice to get your moneys worth in an all inclusive monitor. It was important for me that the MONITOR must be a PC monitor first before I watch TV for a break... It is very awesome the monitor is great at BOTH things perfectly..I honestly think this set can be a 5 egg product for being a monitor and separately a 5 egg for a smaller HDTV. Since it does both, the value is there... Games all look great and smooth with a big screen it just might help improve your MP scores.. For your hard earned cash this is definately a 5 egg product.. I see it on sale here once in a while too. Keep checking the egg for lower pricing and free shipping....As an avid PC gamer I prefer the 16:10 ratio vs the slightly squashed 16:9. This monitor does both perfectly an option you cant get with a majority of the 16:9 native monitors.... Great choice for a monitor that allow you to watch HDTV on the side..

It does everything!
Pros: This is the only monitor i found that has such a wide range of inputs. I have both my computers, my 360, and the dish plugged into this this with NO problems, my only worry with the dish is that it would not recognize the signal/ channels with the built in tv tuner, but it worked like charm. As for the built in speaker, i read some reviews that they did not work so well, i really dont have any complaints but then again i really only use them for watching tv, everything else runs into my surround sound. I also heard of problems with dead pixels, one again i have no complaints there. On the matter of gaming on this monitor, i have not had any ghosting playing on the pc or the 360, i have not noticed any problems with it being 5ms instead of 2 ms. it was such a leap going from my 20 inch CRT to this monster. Also the layout of the monitor controls is really good also, very easy to navigate
Cons: not really new eggs fault but it took ups a week to deliver it, but oh well.
Also, i have noticed on a pure black screen the back lighting is not very uniform, but any other time you cant tell, that is no reason not to buy this monitor
Other Thoughts: may buy another in the future so i can duel screen my pc, i mean it is a great price and the versatility is endless
EVGA 8800

Oh So Good - Excellent Samsung quality
Pros: tv tuner, 10,000:1 DC, 2x HDMI, gloss black/rose red bezel, remote control :D, screen size, beautiful 1080p blu rays, very sturdy and doesn't "wobble" when i bump my desk. 5 eggs & Highly recommend any of the ToC series (t220, t240, t260) all of them are beautiful in both looks & functionality.
Cons: 16:10 aspect ratio instead of 16:9 for movies but not a problem. Definitely a dust magnet and I guess the built-in 3 watts speakers are a tad weak for certain movies and music but I have Logitech z-2300 set for audio ;)
Other Thoughts: The T260HD is huge if you sit as close as I do (approximately 3-4 ft) and it has a nice weight to it. Picture quality is as should be from Samsung and their ToC series monitors/HDTV's. I sold my T220HD to upgrade to this one and this is quite nice. Connected my ps3 for blu rays via hdmi, even though native resolution is 1920x1200, 1080p movies scales pretty nicely and looks phenominal.

NG T260HD 25.5" is Number One Customer Choice for a Reason!
Pros: Great picture, easy to use menus, fast setup, super good looking in my living room, makes a great Monitor and T.V., does not need a preamplifier to run regular speakers, equalizer, great picture tuning controls, this thing has so many features I can't mention them all. But best of all, you can control the volume of plugged in speakers with the T.V. volume control, you don't need anything extra for great sound, a perfect purchase for those with a little budget!
Cons: Built in speakers aren't that great but easily solved with a set of computer or regular speakers pluged in. I'm using a set of Bose speakers which improves the sound a great deal.
Other Thoughts: I saw this same T.V. for $329 which were reconditioned, you can buy it here for the same price as previously used! New Egg is obviously on top of it's competition, but not only that, I paid nothing for shipping, bought it on the 7th, had it up and running in my home on the 8th. Superior work New Egg!

Style and quality at a fair price
Pros: As usual, Newegg delivers with great service and quick shipping. The monitor arrived ib just a few days, even with standard shipping. The ToC T260HD is a great value at this price. The screen of my monitor is perfect, with no stuck bright or dark pixels.
Though UPS scuffed and dented the box, the ToC T260HD arrived looking absoluely great. The monitor was a snap to set up. I simply unplugged my old monitor's DVI cord and attached it to the ToC T260HD and set the resolution in Windows to match.
The screen is bright and the colors are vibrant, and that makes the ToC T260HD good for watching or editing videos and working on big spread sheets or CAD drawings.
Even if your significant other is a technophobe, your ToC T260HD will be welcome in your home because it looks so stylish and it makes a passable TV too. The remote control helps make the ToC T260HD easy to operate.
Cons: While not a, "con," per se, you should keep in mind that the ToC T260HD is a TN type panel. This means you'll get some color/contrast shift if you sit up very close. This isn't so grreat for demanding photo editing. If you are planning to be spending a lot of time in CS5 / Photoshop, you may want to consider a PVI type LCD panel which will give a wider color gamut and better color purity horizontally and vertically when viewed up close. Of course, you'll pay $200 - $300 more than you would for the ToC T260HD.
About the only real, "con," is the internal speakers are pretty wimpy, lacking punch in both bass and treble, thogh they are adequaately loud.
Other Thoughts: So why are you still reading this? I thought you'd be ordering by now.

Great HDTV & PC Monitor...
Pros: Was a little worried about buying this cause I read some reviews about washed out colors when used as a PC monitor. Well lucky for me I didn;t notice any of that. All text from the web pages or MS Word looks clear and solid, color tones from all my pictures look very accurate and real, PC games like Assassin's Creed blow me away @ 1920x1200, I played many different FPS games to check for ghosting, but didn't notice any. What more can I ask for. So if your a PC gamer like me I can guarantee you'l love this monitor.
Now when you use it as a HDTV the picture quality great, but has some minor flaws which I'll list in cons. The good thing is, once you tweak the colors a bit to your liking, the picture quality as good as any LCD in this class. The built in tv tuner works perfect. Channel changes nice a quick. The speakers not as bad as people say, sound just like most normal tv speakers. remote solid and ez to use. And the last thing is this monitor just plan gorgeous looking...!!
Cons: Now for the minor cons: Not 16:9 so u get those black bars on top and bottom, but you can set it to fill the whole screen and lose just a tiny bit of picture quality, cant really even tell the differance actually. Some minor glare around the edge of the screen cause of glossy black frame, I think 99% of the people can live with it, it's very minor. The viewing angles could be a little better, the higher your eye level gets from dead center the brighter it gets, the lower you look the darker it gets, but as long as you can set the monitor to eye level(which most people prob could) everything looks fine. A opiton for RCA would of been nice. can't think of anything else...
Other Thoughts: For the money you cant beat this HDTV/Monitor. May not be perfect, but the pros totally out weigh the minor cons. This gets 5 eggs cause it does what it says it does, and it does it very well.

Great monitor and TV
Pros: Good response time, good color, great styling, remote is way easier to use than the buttons on the side. Lots of inputs will give this life after computer use. Good reception over the air with antenna.
Cons: Speakers are very weak. I will most likely attach some external speakers to the TV. Viewing angle up and down is not great, but side to side is fine.
Other Thoughts: I have this attached to my PC via DVI and it looks great. It has been a bit of a challenge to get the color similar to my older T260 (no tuner), but it looks great. I love having a remote to change the settings rather than using the confusing buttons on the side of the monitor.

Pros: Huge, Pretty, good remote (way easier to use it than the side buttons.), bright and good color. Lots of connections.
Cons: The DVI cable that comes with the monitor is the cheapest I have seen. I have the t260 non-hd monitor and it had an equally horrible DVI cable. There is some odd pixelation and/or wiggle of the picture on my second monitor (this one)
Other Thoughts: Put a quality cable into the box or don't include it! I have bought two new DVI cords and will see if this fixes the wiggle/pixelation or not. I know the cord from my t260 did not even really work. So I am betting it is the DVI cable. This looks to be a great monitor and has the same contrast ratio 1000:1 as the t260 which I love. The dynamic contrast is different, but dynamic is not really for gaming or everyday computing.

Bright whites, crisp text, no height adjustment
Pros: I use it as a PC monitor and have it next to 3 other monitors for comparison. The whites are trully brilliant. In fact, I develop web apps and for the first time noticed that a logo that I have been using does not really have a white background as I thought. I just noticed is a bit off-white!
Cons: No height adjustment.

Cons: the power light in the front is the only thing i dont like
Other Thoughts: for my next screen purchase sticking with samsung

CAN NOT HANG ON WALL
Pros: Beautifull tv with all the bells and whistles of a high end monitor. HDMI, DVI And VGA make for an all around complete package with any set up.
Cons: I bought to mount to wall in fact ordered the part from Samssung parts before i ordered set. It has been a month now and all they can say is we are waitinf for a shipment from our supplier. There supply side for asscessories is horrible. DO NOT BUY IF YOU NEED TO MOUNGT ON WALL. THE PARTS WILL NEVER COME.
Other Thoughts: If you can live with it on your desk or where ever than go for it a beautifull set. If not move on to one that comes with VESA mounting on the set.

Excellent multi-functional display for the price
Pros: The monitor looks very sleek and it works just as advertised--as a monitor and a TV. I use it for my pc, for gaming on my Wii, and for TV. I also love this TV for the multiple inputs; I can add in a ps3 and a xbox if I wanted to because I still have 2 HDMI inputs left. The picture looks really good and I haven't found any dead pixels. I also really like the swivel base. It's good when you need to rotate the screen to face another direction.
Cons: The viewing angle isn't excellent and the speakers aren't stellar. If you have 4 people sitting on a coach facing the TV, people on the side probably won't be able to see very well. If you're playing poorly encoded audio, the speakers have little bass so it'll sound muffled. The widescreen resolution isn't 16:9 and the 16:9 setting doesn't take up the whole screen.
Other Thoughts: It lacks some features and the speakers are poor but it's such a beautiful and breathtaking display, I love it for the price I've paid. I just wish this monitor came in 32". I would definitely buy that.

Great monitor Bad UPS
Pros: Great size, Bright, good tuner and great color. Love the TOC red and love the touch button power.
Cons: UPS UPS UPS. They got the item in town a day before the weekend, but had decided not to ship ground items that day so I had to wait until Monday.
Other Thoughts: As I have said many times UPS is great at shipping, but horrible at delivery. They also beat up the items they ship. I would not have chosen ground for this item normally, but the shipping was free. I don't dock eggs on items based on poor experiences that are not associated with the item itself. UPS has nothing to do with the fantastic monitor.

Use Vista "room correction" for speaker equalization
Pros: I bought this mainly for PC use, not as a TV. It works great for that, and I need not repeat what has been said. I have no dead pixels, and I can get good text size and sharpness at 1680x1050 pixels. And I like the fact that you can set the aspect ratio (e.g., 16:9, 4:3, etc.) for each TV channel, and it remembers the settings. That is a help.
Cons: As has been noted, the speakers are weak. But there is a built-in equalizer in Vista; see below.
Other Thoughts: You can improve the sound by calibrating with a microphone, using the built-in automatic equalizer in Vista (and I assume Win7 also). I used a good Sony stereo microphone, but you might be able to use the ones that come with the better HiFi receivers these days if the output level is high enough. Just search "room correction" in Help, or else go to Control Panel/Sound/Playback tab. Then select Speakers/Properties/Enhancements and check the "Room Correction" box, and then go to "Settings". I found that the output level of my microphone was low, so I set it to +30dB boost in the Recordings tab and ran through the test. It helps the sound to a reasonable degree, and I also gave a little further bass boost (at 100 and 300 Hz) in the equalizer of the Samsung monitor itself. It is not as good as external speakers, but it will do.

Best Purchase of 2009!
Pros: Big crisp 1080p monitor with a great contrast ratio. Monitor arrived two days after ordering (free shipping) with zero stuck pixels. Plugged a coax into the back (without cable box) and the tuner detected 90% of my Comcast HD channels. I tested out gaming with my PS3 and the monitor had no visible ghosting and looked fantastic! The screen has a matte finish, so you never need to worry about glare in a sunlit room. This is a great purchase for anyone who wants a monitor that can handle a beautiful 1920X1200 res, play HD games, and watch TV on.
Cons: Viewing angles could be better. The stand does not tilt verticality, you have to prop-up the rear of the stand up if you're sitting lower than the monitor to avoid color wash and darkening. The speakers are as weak as you would expect from a monitor of this size. There is an optical and 1/8" stereo output available for connecting to a receiver or computer speakers.

Awesome LCD for an awesome price
Pros: * Decent contrast for desktop aps, games and HDTV * Very sharp images and text * Colors appear accurate and vibrant after some minor tweaking (reduced brightness) * HDTV looks awesome, sharp and colorful * Adjustable aspect ratios to keep the image/source filling the screen or at a native aspect ratio * Huge desktop area for aps and gaming while not taking up too much of your actual desk * Lots of input options for future expansion or multiple sources * Easy setup and menu navigation * Very elegant design
Cons: * slight backlight bleeding at the top center is noticeable on a black screen or dark scenes but isn't so noticeable as to be annoying * ~3 second lag when switching sources but this is nitpicking * No Picture-in-Picture, but I knew that before I bought it so it's more of a wish or suggestion for future revisions
Other Thoughts: I'm running my PC through the DVI input at full resolution and text looks sharp and colors are vibrant and accurate (I'm no expert though and don't have measuring devices to know just how accurate, but it looks great to me). I'm primarily using this as a PC monitor with some HDTV viewing and occasional bluray movies. For the current price, I don't think can get a versatile monitor with excellent quality for a TN panel.

Disappointing for Samsung.
Pros: Well, it has a TV tuner.
Cons: Poor color consistency. Really poor vertical viewing angle. Somewhat fuzzy as opposed to other Samsungs. Does not appear to be HDCP-compliant.
Other Thoughts: Usually, Samsung is a no-brainer as a purchase. We've bought dozens of various models without an issue, including less-expensive ones. However, the pair we bought was sub-par in color consistency, viewing angle, and sharpness. I would recommend staying away from them for any critical use, but they do make a cheap TV and general-purpose screen, I guess.

Bad Column of pixels after 5 days
Pros: price*/image quality**/features/number of inputs * before paying to ship back ** before column of pixels went bad
Cons: Entire column of pixels went out after 5 days. Speakers sound poor.
Other Thoughts: Not such a good deal after paying $26 to ship a broken monitor back after only 5 days.

solid monitor, made me rethink how I use computer
Pros: Very bright, but has the controls to be exactly where you want it too. 2 HDMI + 1 DVI is just what I needed Upgrading from an old samsung 19 inch to this was easy, the stand on this 25.5 is actually smaller then my old 19inch so it fits right into my desks alloted depth. Option to turn off the slightly annoying LED light on the front power button
Cons: Mine had 1 dead pixel in the upper right corner, its so close to the border its not noticeable unless you are looking for dead pixels
My computer can no longer run Crysis in max everything settings :( (maybe this is a pro cause now I have excuse to upgrade!)
Other Thoughts: With my 19 inch I always just maximized every window I used, but if I maximize my web browser and other text rich windows on 25.5 I get a headache shifting my eyes back and forth reading it. Making my browser/text windows about 3/4 or less of the screen works like a charm though, I use the other space for my messenger's friend list and CPUID

Not Prefect - But Darned Close
Pros: The setup is simple, the picture is crystal clear, color and brightness are excellent, and the remote is effective.
The 2 HDMI ports (1 in back, 1 on the side) are proving to be very helpful when swithing back and forth between my main computer and my notebook computer.
Cons: The 'response time' (refresh rate?) of 5ms is noticeable, but is not a hughly significant hinderance.
However, the internal speakers are simply terrible (if not actually broken on my set). The internal speakers sound worse than a 1960's era $5 portable radio. But, my Bose computer speakers (plugged into the provided headphone socket on the side) solved that issue admirably.
Other Thoughts: Newegg delivery was fast!!!
Samsung has a satisfied customer in me!!!

Pros: Great picture! I use this set to watch DirecTV in 1080P resolution. I also use this as a computer monitor, looks fantastic at 1920x1200! Very functional swivel base with tilt.
Cons: Some of the buttons on the remote have no purpose. But hey, at least it includes a remote!
Other Thoughts: Buy this now! You wont be upset. Newegg is the best!

CANNOT BE WALL MOUNTED
Pros: works
Cons: **BEWARE** The specifications do not explain that this cannot be wall mounted. The product description needs to be updated to clearly explain the lack of mounting option for this monitor.
Other Thoughts: This is a discontinued model from Samsung, most likely because of the inability to wall-mount this TV.

Amazing
Pros: This is my first 25.5 inch monitor, and well since it is my first I can only say wow. Next upgrade a 30 inch monitor, in a year or two though lol
Cons: I don't really care for the on/off button, I mean in the dark I know where to push, but it seems I don't touch the right spot. So I gotta either turn on a light or move my finger around until it pops on. It's cool in theory, but not to practical for when it's dark in ones room. This however, isn't that big of a deal, I just leave the remote near the monitor, and the problem is solved.
Other Thoughts: I would recommend this and buy it again without consideration.

BUY!-BUY!-BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pros: Fantastic Unit at GREAT PRICE!! $50 more for 1080P HD TV in a Monitor VS monitor alone that is Better than ANY TV Tuner card. I have had the T240HD since Oct/09 & it's a DREAM. Full 1080P and Super Sharp! OK you say 240 not T260HD? THEY ARE SAME except one has 24" screen & the Listed Item Has 25.5" screen. """That is ONLY Diff!!"" Same remote, all connections, my stand, which has NO stability problems mentioned below, is a T260HD part # with Generous L & R adjustment with your Pinky and it tilts back to get proper line of sight. ALL the same features Including "Optical Digital OUTPUT" in back so you can use Logitech Z5500's Newegg carries or a HTS!! This is the same "T to C" tech as Samsungs Big TVs. If I had the $$$ I would Buy it so I could have TV & Computer viewing at same time!! I got a 3yr warranty,as it's a monitor, instead of one yr for a TV. This was $550.00 last yr.
Cons: If con, the HD versions of this monitor don't do portrait vertical viewing because of built in Dolby Digital Stereo Speakers built in.
Other Thoughts: I use HDMI (1) in back for input from HD-DVR for HD Cable, HDMI (2) on side under that little door for My PC, Coax in back for on Air 1080i broadcast, and frequently use the old PC connection in back to work on friend's old computers, ALL connected at same time & a single button on remote will change from one to another with ease. The side door on left also has headset 3.5mm jack which I use to plug in My Logitech Z2300s, so ALL Audio from ALL sources is routing through the Samsung with complete control from Included Remote!! Read specs because it will handle MORE. This baby has all kinds of adjustments and they are very easy to navigate from remote, including graphic equalizer, energy saver which is great listening to tunes on computer or Cable etc that can add 25%-35% run time to my battery backup! Chk it out or Just BUY IT B 4 they are gone!!!!!!!!!!!

Pros: Excellent Monitor/HD TV! With the wide screen and ready hookups for my hd service, it is so very much easier then having to install an hd tv tuner in my computer! Switching between inputs could not be easier with the included remote!
Cons: The back lighting makes watching some darker scenes a little off. With the way they are made today, there is not much that can be done. But, the new ones coming out will be much better, when the price drops a little!
Other Thoughts: Overall, an OUTSTANDING buy. HIGHLY recommended. Newegg did it's normal fast delivery without any problems with anything that I ordered.

Fantastic!
Pros: I Love This Monitor! I've only had it for a little over a week now but it's everything I hoped it would be. Looks great, works great and had a great price. I read most of the reviews and haven't experienced and of the problems that a few others had. As for the "flimsy stand" I don't really see it. Yes it may wobble slightly if you bump it but i never have reason to touch it much. The 'touch' power button works fine for me. I just swipe it as suggested in other reviews.
The color is perfect so far, although I am currently only using it as a computer monitor. I don't have a DVD player or game console hooked up to it yet. I'll let you know after Christmas. I bought a second one for my 16yo. Can't wait to see his face. He has a computer and an XBox 360. I got one for him so that I can have my 46" Sony Bravia back. (Hasn't seen much "Dad Time") (Also got it from NewEgg and LOVE IT!) It'll be perfect for him because it offers the ability to grow with him as his needs expan
Cons: None so far. Although, yes, putting the head phone jack down in the corner on the side would've been a better place for it. I don't use it anyway because I have a speaker system with one of those wired desktop remotes with bass and volume and a built in head phone jack that sits right next to my keyboard. (Why the heck don't they make keyboards with built in headphone/headset and extra USB jacks? HELLO!) My tower isn't were I can get to them all that easily.
As for the flip door on the side, I haven't tried it yet, but with a drill and a razor knife you should be able to make a small notch in the back edge of the door to allow it to close over the cable while its plugged in. Unless you have a cable with an exceptionally long connector. Again, I'm not all that familiar with different types of HDMI cables.
Other Thoughts: I did a fair bit of research before deciding and I've found that, across the board, reviewers seem to agree that Samsung is fast becoming known for making a very high quality, mid priced monitor, that's packed with high end features. I'm know I'm sold. Keep up the good work.
Same goes for NewEgg. Great Gob!

Pros: Initially the monitor seemed absolutely daunting, after a week or so of use it seems natural, and every other monitor i use feels cramped, love the size. Great to be able to flip over and watch TV when I want, simplifies having a separate TV for my room. Color and brightness are great.
Cons: Built in speakers are lackluster, as usual.
Other Thoughts: As is typical in my experience, viewing angles less than perpendicular lose color fast, but higher angles are fine. Side to side viewing angles seem average.
Flip out side panel seems unnecessarily large for just having an HDMI and headphone jack, maybe some other models have more ports?
Wish it was LED backlit but those will come soon enough.

Pros: Crisp color, great color options, simple setup, good amount of input options, can double as a TV in the guest room if need be or use during XBox LAN sessions. I'm generally not a SAMSUNG lover but this model is very impressive. I bought 25.5" LCD for graphic artists at my office and this thing blows them out of the water with far more options and a significant price drop. I'm running this monitor at 1900x1200 along with my old Samsung 19" at 1024x726 off a PCIe box I built in 2004 and it's crisp, fast and flawless. Along the side panel is an 1/8" stereo headphone jack. I didn't need USB hub but I was dead set on pivot. A buddy of mine who did his IT homework finally sold me on this model and 1900x1200 is a huge amount of real estate especially at 25.5", the one thing I noticed about the pivot monitors were lacking x1200 in landscape, and only 7 dead pixels! I'm kidding, the pixels are all lit, but I was afraid of Neweggs policy. Shipped in two days a little over 800 miles. Go Newegg!
Cons: Volume could be louder, but I didn't buy it for use as a TV, until I started watching HD movies on it. Not a con but it's intimidatingly big on my desk.

Pros: This is a great monitor / tv combo for the price. Perfect for a Manhattan studio where space is always a premium. Display quality is amazing. Im using the HDMI for xbox360 and DVI input for my laptop .. amazing the amount of multi tasking I was missing out on with just the laptop monitor. If you need a large monitor that does TV as well you cant beat this deal.
Cons: Wish it had a better contrast ratio but for the price it cant be beat by anything for the amount of stuff it does :)

Excellent Monitor
Pros: Excellent clarity, refresh and color. Improved cable attachment access over the T260. No problems with dead pixels that others have mentioned.
Cons: No USB ports. I bought this as a companion to my T260 for a dual monitor setup. I expected the same input/ outputs with the addition of the TV tuner. With practically everything having USB interfaces this is a serious annoyance.
Other Thoughts: With 2 of them side by side the screen area is really great improvement in convenience when comparing code or graphics. One of my cats thinks they are windows and tries to catch the flying arrow(cursor) outside.

Pros: 16:10 aspect ratio. 25.5" (great size, plenty large but without pixels the size of dinner plates)
Respectable color accuracy and depth, and blacks, for a TN monitor. No ghosting. Decent horizontal viewing angle. Screen is matte, which seems to be a dying attribute with some brands. Physically attractive, though I prefer a matte enclosure for long term appearance.
All manner of input connectors, two HDMI, DVI, d-sub. Easy switching between them, makes a great all purpose desktop tv/monitor.
Cons: Backlight bleed at the top and bottom, but its hardly noticeable on anything but a solid color.
Vertical viewing angle is garbage. Sitting closer than 24", or anything other than the perfect elevation, causes color to distort at the top or bottom. While you wont hardly notice it in games or videos, in picture viewing or editing, its more than a bit annoying.
Power "button" is a touch sensitive area (SMALL area) of the enclosure down in the bottom right. It has almost no texture to indicate its presence, and is an absolute nightmare to find in the dark. Now I don't even bother trying to find it in low-light, I just grab the remote because its not worth the fuss.
Built in speakers are just what you'd expect. Usable, but you don't want to.
Other Thoughts: It's a large TN monitor, what more can you expect from a big $330 monitor?

Bought for Computer Monitor
Pros: I bought the T260HD to use as a computer monitor. The clarity is magnificent! Tons of room for docs. Everything else (tuner, speakers, hookups) are just nice little extras. It sits on my desk so I was not concerned with that it did not tilt. I bought in on Black Friday and the price was great and the shipping was very fast.
Cons: None so far.

Amazing quality!
Pros: Huge size, very nice design. A lot of available connections, remote control, friendly menus, colors look great watching 1080p video...what is not to love?
Cons: It doesnt wake me up with a kiss every morning... :)
Other Thoughts: I would definetly recommend it. As a computer engineer I can tell you that I took my time doing some big amount of research....totally worth it!!

Awesome
Pros: Not a dead pixel Huge all the inputs you could ever need and more
Cons: stand doesn't tilt vertically but hey its big enough if you get it within a foot you can see it
Other Thoughts: Its an awesome monitor/ tv. everyone who says the sound is a bit tingy is being way too picky it sounds fine to me and im sure it will be fine for you unless you are a music critique. Also if the sound is not to your liking you can always go spend all the money you saved on a good sound system and stop whining about it :)

exceeds expectations
Pros: Multiple inputs selection, 1080p, 1920x1080 resolution, great built in tuner which unlocked multiple channels without the new Comcast digital reciever, great price for multifunction monitor at the size/resolution, simple remote control and menu system
Cons: Built in speakers are a bit weak. Not much bass/depth to them at all.
only one audio out option - digital out, which is great, but wish it had another option, be it standard headphone jack or RCA audio out
Other Thoughts: Absolutely exceeded my expectations when I hooked up my Comcast cable to it without the new digital conversion box.
I didn't intend to use this TV for HD TV viewing, it was mainly to replace an old 29" CRT TV as well as serve as the main monitor in a dual monitor set up for my PC. The built in tuner was able to find almost all the channels I watch without the new digital receiver box Comcast is rolling out. Channels such as ESPN, Discovery, TNT, etc, were blocked out on the regular standard def feed and required the Comcast digital receiver to watch. That isn't the case anymore -- this Samsung's tuner found all those channels and even some of the local network HD feeds (NBC, ABC, CBS). Now I save $2.49/month for the "digital receiver" Comcast requires and get a good chunk of HD programing to boot! If you're planning on using this as primarily a TV/video watching display, definitely hook up a soundbar or other speaker system for better audio quality and depth.

Pros: what others have said
Cons: I bought it as monitor and TV. well as TV its pretty great for the class. but as monitor it has what I consider great big unforgivable problem. As a 16x10 monitor, it should support 16x10 resolutions. well the only on it support is full res. The other are wrong shape etc, tried all tv settings and tried to creat custom resolutions on my pc. nothing works. (installed driver of course). I downres all the time on my 16x10 lappy.
Other Thoughts: I'll seek solution for a few days but have some experience and am pretty doubtful.

Great Monitor
Pros: Wonderful as a 1900 x 1200 monitor. Games are amazing and spreadsheets and other files very clear. Really happy with the purchase. Great TV / works like a charm with an excellent picture.
Cons: The only nit pick I have is that the cables (power and DVI) are not as long as I would have liked and had to move my rig closer under my desk to make the connections.
Other Thoughts: Two things to mention. The first is that I hesitated in buying because of neweggs dead pixil policy. I dreaded getting a monitor with seven dead pixils and being told that eight was the return threshold. Fortunately (sometime you get lucky) no dead pixils at all.
I have read a lot of reviews that say the speakers are not that good. Maybe I got lucky again, but the speakers are excellent with tv voices and sounds clear and crisp. I use my computer speakers for blu ray movies and gaming.

Great monitor
Pros: Impressive monitor. I've had it about a week and love it. No ghosting in games (tried Crysis, MW2, Borderlands, and TF2). Wonderful large display with great resolution. The TOC monitor is a particularly attractive addition to any room you may use it.
Tons of inputs for all your entertainment needs.
Cons: Only 1 dead pixel, other than that, I'm completely satisfied.
The viewing angle isn't the best I've seen, but really isn't that much of a problem if you are using it primarily as a monitor. The picture is still very visible while I am laying on my couch watching a movie. (The monitor is on a desk - well below the top of the monitor which is supposedly the best viewing angle).
Other Thoughts: The power button is a sweet little area above the "on" LED. Other reviews complained about this but just use your entire finger/thumb pad and you'll be fine.
I have a old Samsung flat tube TV sitting 5 feet away in my apartment and the remote signals can effect each other - really not much of a problem if you point either remote directly at your intended target.
I read some previous reviews both at newegg and other sites about the long times it takes to set up and adjust - well I didn't adjust a single visual setting on mine and everything looks gorgeous.
I love this monitor so much I'll be replacing my 27" flat tube Samsung TV with another Samsung product.

Best Quality WHY to BUY - read
Pros: 1. 1920 x 1200 (don't buy a 1080 for data - moviesor tv ok) 2. Great Picture - Colors more vibrant than top rated panasonic 37" TV - my friend said 3. Great for monitor for a word document 73% shows 3 full pages. I would use for 2 full pages side by side and top to bottom. 4. has a full 1200 pixels top to bottom 5. EASY to use remote. 6. Boss loved it too. 7.GREAT for Monitor Great For TV
Cons: Wish it came with a HDMI cable Wish it came with a printed manual
Other Thoughts: Upgraded from samsung 20.4" monitor 204B with great sharpness (1600 x 1200)javascript:Biz.Feedback.RateProduct.Form.submit('display') Submit 24 inches wide.
May but a second one. warm but not hot. says 1.2 Amps for electric use. Don't know in reality how much it draws or uses.

1 year and going strong
Pros: Crystal clear picture. Great for flight simming or other gaming pursuits. Makes excellent screen for watching movies on it. Changes mode (analog to digital or vice versa) relatively quickly. No dead pixels. Image reaches to the bezel all around. Can sit at the back of your desk without a problem and is very stable (doesn't move because it is heavy enough to stay put!).
Cons: No vertical adjustment.
Other Thoughts: I've been using this monitor for a year now for flight simming, browsing the internet, email, etc. The picture is outstanding (but I've come to expect that from Samsung). It does take a significant amount of "real estate" on my desk (side to side) but that is to be expected due to the picture size. For those of us whom are seasoned veterans (over 45 years old) it helps the eyes!

Pros: -Big! -Great as a TV -Great as a monitor -Really good viewing angles, H and V. -Speakers do the job
Cons: -Doesnt have or didnt come with the back panel that hides all the cables. I was really happy when I got the monitor set up...but the lack of the back panel actually made me sad for a moment. :( so minus one egg for that.

Nice Monitor!
Pros: This is a great monitor for all your devices. It has great load of connections. I got my ps3, laptop, and desktop hooked up to this thing! I test it out with a blue-ray movie and games and it is really sharp and pretty good response time. No dead pixels here!
Cons: Only bad thing I have to say is that it loves dust!
Other Thoughts: Last time I bought a monitors was in 2004, but this surpasses them in size and amount of pixel.

Pros: Big, especially for a computer monitor.
Big enough for a TV for a small room.
Lots of inputs.
Good color.
Cons: 5ms response time. I hadn't realized how different 5ms panels were, coming from a 2ms panel. There is noticeable ghosting on everything.
The speakers are a joke. The speakers on my Eee PC are better, they might as well have just not put speakers on the thing. You can plug normal computer speakers into the headphone port, but then the volume controls on the remote no longer work. The only option there is to use a sound system with optical input. A better solution for audio would have been good.
No composite input. I know, it's old, but things still use it. With all the inputs on this monitor, composite would have been helpful.

Impressive
Pros: This is one good looking LCD. Samsung makes great TV/Monitors. I just spent the last four hours playing L4D2 on it and I must say, I am blown away. I see absolutely no ghosting. It has great contrast and very good response time for a screen this size. If anyone is considering a new monitor over 24", I would highly recommend that you take a look at this one. The pictures on the website don't really do it justice. I has to be seen in person to be truly appreciated. The picture is crisp and the colors are vibrant. I do like the HD tuner also. I am primarily using it as a monitor, but I did want a TV in the office. This was the perfect choice. It is wall mountable in case you are wondering, you just have to get the Samsung T-Series wall mount.
Cons: The sleep function is sometimes slow to wake up, but it's really not that big of a deal. Other than that, I have no complaints.

ok monitor
Pros: good sized monitor, casing looks really good, good software built into it.
Cons: then panel. it looks bad, compared to my 245BW this thing looks horrendous, such a blue hue to it and the colors just dont pop IMO. speakers sound even worse as well, dont bother with them, use external speaker source.
Other Thoughts: would buy another 245bw if still made.

Pros: easy to set up hooked it up to a HD cable box.... picture is great
Cons: can't adjust stand...
i wish you could split the screen or at least have (PIP) so the tv can be watched while working on the computer
Other Thoughts: so far this monitor has been working great the stand does not adjust... but if you want a larger screen that has deep colors... you can go wrong with this monitor....

So far so good
Pros: So far so good. I get the benefit of a large monitor with the usefulness of a decent sized television. Way bigger then i thought when holding a measuring tape up to my old one. But i couldnt be happier.
Cons: A little bright and causes eye strain quick , I turned down the brightness wich helped a little but killes the contrast ration. Finding decent 1920x1200 wallpapers lol

A Nice TV Disguised As A Monitor
Pros: Design Picture Quality Included rotating/tilt stand Simple menus and remote
Cons: Fingerprint magnet Power chord
Other Thoughts: I was in the market for a 26"-32" TV for my bedroom and randomly stumbled upon the T260HD. For the price, this cannot be beat as a full HD TV for $300!!! Picture quality is excellent as you can expect with a Samsung. I absolutely love the 'Touch of Color' and the whole bezel; I personally think it looks pretty classy, though it is a fingerprint magnet. The included stand is excellent as it spins and tilts. The menus are easy to navigate and the remote is nice and simple. I don't intend to use this unit as a full time monitor, but I have no doubts it will perform well as the screen looks great when my netbook is plugged in. I noticed many people have complained about the speakers...and they are poor, but when considering what they are, they're pretty decent. Sounds are clear and not distorted and there's even an equalizer. The only downer I have had so far is the power cord. It takes a little oomph to get it in tightly...I was afraid of damaging the unit by pressing so hard. I actually

Samsung T26HD
Pros: This monitor is very nice, love the resolution and the fact that you can have multiple things connected to it as well as your PC. I also like the rotatory stand and the superficial appearance of the TV in general.
Cons: The only thing that frustrated me for a couple of days about this LCD monitor/TV is that it came with a dead pixel almost in the center of the screen. Thats why I gave it 4 eggs, if you are lucky enough to get this TV with no dead pixels, then I assure you will be pleased.

Excellent Value
Pros: Excellent Quality. Colors are rich and true out of the box...and with calibration is even more beautifuly. The controls are simple, and there are so many inputs that I can't even use them all! You practically hook up anything that you can throw at it.
I have it hooked up to my cable and computers. the HDTV looks great! Watching movies on the computer looks great also.
The main reason I purchased was to work on photos...no problems at all.
Cons: N/A

Pros: Looks great, aesthetically pleasing. Who doesn't want another TV?
Cons: Sometimes the brightness flickers, which gets kind of annoying, but I think this only happens when it comes out of sleep.

I love it!
Pros: No ghosting with online FPS games. I love the monitor's menu. It has every feature that I could want -- even control of the otherwise annoying red light on the front. No visible bad pixels. The remote makes setup a cinch. Windows standby works just fine so less than a 2W load is great. Video tuner seems very sensitive -- better than a CRT TV sitting next to it.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: This monitor replaced a 21 inch CRT so the colors are a bit washed out but this is reasonable since it is an LCD. Viewing from an angle is quite acceptable. Internal speakers are surprisingly good. I was waiting for an LED but it seems that the large LEDs are not available, yet.

Great Buy for a Dorm/Apartment
Pros: A 26" 1080p LCD TV, at the price point of a monitor. It's almost like Samsung put this thing in the wrong category. The price has gotten even more attractive since I bought mine here.
Menu is clear and easy to navigate- maybe lacking a few options, but nothing you're going to miss.
Blacks are black, whites are white, colors are vivid. As far as color goes, I don't think you could ask for more at this price point.
Touch of Color trim is attractive.
The screen is NOT glossy - so there's little to no glare.
A relative abundance of inputs/outputs will enable you to hook up a bunch of stuff without a dedicated receiver/hardcore media setup.
Cons: PiP would be nice - all that screen real estate could make room for a little TV square in a corner.
The trim is a fingerprint magnet, like most "pretty" electronics now.
The remote has 4 useless color buttons at the bottom, but I think it's because Samsung uses the same remote for a bunch of TV's.
The optical output only passes stereo through, so don't expect your HDMI input to pass surround sound through the TV. You'll need to hook it up directly.
The 2nd HDMI input and audio out (headphones) are in a side panel on the left, meaning that if you use them, They'll stick out the side a little.
Other Thoughts: If you live in a dorm room or other small space, this thing is the ultimate space saver. I have a computer, PS2, and PS3 hooked into it through the various inputs, and switching between them is a breeze. Everyone who sees this sitting on my desk drops their jaw when they see it.
My Setup: 26" Samsung T260HD and 19" 941BW as dual monitors Logitech z5500's PS3 -> HDMI video to T260HD, optical audio to speakers PS2 -> component video and RCA audio to T260HD cable ->T260HD
I have room for another HDMI device... but I can't think of anything I'd add. As I mentioned in the cons, I hooked the PS3 into my speakers directly, but the TV will take audio off the HDMI cable and pass it through the optical out as well, just not in surround sound (Dolby Digital, etc).

Well worth it!
Pros: Excellent image! Excellent Color! Excellent all around! Bought mine from a discount retailer for slightly more than the NewEgg price, but they allow walk up returns for any reason and NewEgg's dead pixel policy had me uncomfortable. I bought 3 for my work at home office - I'm a coder; on my machine all day. I love them! I have two hooked up via DVI and one via VGA. Even the VGA link has outstanding clarity. I thought I was going to have to buy another DVI capable PCI video card to get my third one clear. No dead pixels on any of them.
Cons: None. Absolutely none! Some have said they are too bright - but that can be adjusted. Some have said that they have a cheap stand, but for the price I can go buy a nice stand if I need one, and still be cheaper than most of the 720p monitors/tuners! Some have commented on the back light bleed through. It reduces greatly when the brightness is toned down a bit and I do not find what little there is distracting when watching movies/TV. Some have said the speakers are weak. They probably are, but how many of us use the built ins rather than a sound sytem?
Other Thoughts: NewEgg is great, no doubt, but their dead pixel policy drove me to another vendor for these. Perhaps I'm too picky, but when you work in front of 5 monitors all day long, dead pixels can be a real distraction.

Great! but for the price?
Pros: Have the same exact one This is an awsome monitor/tv! Good for gaming, 1920x1200 is awsome quality! 2 hdmi, vga, and dvi
Cons: did not buy it from newegg and my dad spent almost 500$ at best buy lol. If you just need a monitor for your gaming pc I would go with the asus 21.5 inch which has one hdmi and 1920x1080 res. which is plenty and save yourself about 150$.
Other Thoughts: Great monitor, but you can get one cheaper.

Greatest Monitor Ever.
Pros: All around great monitor. Great contrast and brightness. Great speakers. HUGE! No dead pixels. AND I GOT IT 26HRS AFTER I CLICKED BUY! I got the free 3 day shipping and it was here as soon as I woke up.
Cons: It does not make my dinner.
Other Thoughts: If you are stuck on buying this or some other monitor STOP and buy this one you will NOT be disappointed.
