Do Not Buy This Monitor
Pros: Like the picture.
Cons: Monitor randomly goes into "Digital Power Saving" mode and shuts off. Have found many people online with the same problem. LG customer service is terrible, and I have spent many hours trying to get a competent person to help me. Newegg shares in the blame for selling a known defective product. This has soured me on Newegg and LG both. Avoid this monitor at all costs.

Amazing
Pros: This monitor is awesome. Upgraded from an ancient Gateway 15" CRT and wow. I never want to leave my computer. Movies, games, web browsing, you name it. It looks awesome. Bright, Crisp, and clear. 1920x1080 is great. Great looking housing as well.
Cons: As some others have said, the touchscreen buttons are a little annoying. That's its only downfall to me. Also newegg shipped in the LG box. Anyone could have snagged this bad boy but they didn't.
Other Thoughts: All in all, buy this. If you're not worried about having an HDMI input then this monitor is perfect. MUCH BIGGER than I thought it was going to be. Not one dead/stuck pixel. MW2,Fallout 3, Fear2,Crysis,Prototype-THEY ALL LOOK AMAZING!

Great!
Pros: This monitor produces a great picture and video. I also like the "Star Trek: The Next Generation" controls. No buttons to push, just touch controls on the frame.
Cons: None that I can think off.

Great for movies and surfing. Not gaming.
Pros: Excellent picture. Pretty design. I actually own the 2353, which is a hair larger, and currently sells in Korea.
Cons: BUTTONS! Proximity-sensitive buttonless buttons are extremely difficult to use, in reality. I'd much rather have REAL buttons I can both see and FEEL! Also, they don't print the names of the buttons even remotely bright enough for you to see what they all are (or where they are)! Monitor is a fingerprint and dust magnet. Mirror-black plastic base scratches very easily as soon as you try to wipe dust from it. Yes, a dust rag is actually enough to scratch it. You'd think they'd learn that people DON'T like that.
Other Thoughts: As mentioned elsewhere, don't get this if you're a gamer who wants to play older games. The size of the monitor ends up malforming your game. Also,

WOW!
Pros: WOW! So clear upgraded from a 15" lcd. 2ms response time is great. CS 1.6 and CS:S are amazing in wide screen, the game actually looks pretty(even 1.6 does). Would buy again.
Cons: did not come with a DVI cable
Other Thoughts: 2.8 Dual core 320 GB hd 9800 GTX + 4gb Ram and this :)

Reply to sstevens33
Pros: Excellent picture, no border backlight bleeding, high contrast, forte manager let's you choose settings for movies, reading text etc. even set your own settings and save them for quick access. All around good monitor.
Cons: Nothing other than small stuff. sstevens33 mentioned that you can't play older games because of the resolution or the widescreen format. I didn't want anyone to get discouraged about the monitor because it has a feature that allows you to put a 4:3 frame in the widescreen monitor, then all you do is change your resolution to 1280x1024 or w/e and it looks just fine.

Not for gaming
Pros: Relatively inexpensive....clear, sharp picture...full HD 16:9 ratio (no border) is great for movies, but that's it.
Cons: To run this as a pc monitor, you need to use a resolution of 1280x720. Because of the 16:9 ratio (no border) that means throwing away most games that were released more than 1 year ago. For the newest games (GTAIV, COD5, BIAHH, etc.) it's great....but for slightly older games that are still heavily played (M2TW, any EASPORTS 08 title, CeasarIV, etc.) the 1280x720 resolution is simply not supported and makes them impossible to play. No matter what resolution you run these games at, they are stretched and squished. Also, I had to buy a dvi cable separately, as one was not included with this monitor. A VGA (analog) cable was included, however. The plastic base is cheap and the high gloss finish is a magnet for dust and fingerprints.
Other Thoughts: If you are looking for a monitor for serious gaming, don't buy this...get a larger square screen or something with a less extreme ratio...seriously, this should be sold as a low-end hdtv and not as a pc monitor.

Amazing
Pros: 1080p, more-than-fair price, auto brightness adjustment, amazing contrast ratio. Overall picture quality is excellent. I didn't expect as huge an increase in quality as I got, going from 1280x720 at 1,000 contrast to this. Beautiful.
Cons: No HDMI input, no digital cable included.

good monitor
Pros: Crisp, clear, no dead pixels, no border light leaks. Needed no configuring or adjustment, worked superbly right out of the box. Good price for specs and performance. No problems with smearing or artefacts with movie action scenes.
Cons: Controls can take some getting used to (but I haven't needed to use them.) Tilt adjustment is stiff - adjust with careful firmness and patience.
Other Thoughts: Didn't install Forte software from CD since I didn't see the need. At the time, best 'bang' for buck. Bought two, gave one to my sister. One hopes they continue to work well for years.

Very Frustrating Monitor....
Pros: 1080p 2ms GTG response time is very nice. DVI and Analog input (analog comes in handy when working on old pcs...) Nice size and rather slim
Cons: Monitor has never displayed colors very well. I have spent hours using numerous calibration tools and some colors just still look very weak. Monitor shuts off and turns back on whenever i overclock my 4870.... My monitor would occasionally turn on to powersave mode, and i could NEVER get it out of power save mode no mater what i did. Finally annoyed me to the point of getting an RMA... Monitor displayed a bit of "static" during bluray playback that i have never seen before.
Other Thoughts: People, u get what you pay for.... never forget that.
LG and Newegg have been incredibly helpfull in replacing this monitor for me, but the hassel of getting a defective product is painful...

Great monitor for price
Pros: Great picture with vivid colors and correct contrast. It correctly displays an HD 1080p signal with DVI. The navigation menus are strangely formatted, but not difficult. The touch screen menus are also a neat feature.
Cons: Not really a con, but worth mentioning: there's no HDMI port. This isn't a big deal because with this monitor, there is no advantage of using an HDMI cable.
Other Thoughts: This monitor is probably such a bargain because it contains no HDMI port. However, there's no advantages of using HDMI with this monitor.

Pros: Very clear picture. Vivid colors. Cool features. No blur in high motion (games or movies).
Cons: No HDMI. No DVI cable but I read before and was prepared ($6 cable so no big deal). Semi flimsy stand so it is not suggested for people that move their computers a lot or live in a frat house....
Other Thoughts: I got this monitor at a very good price. It was the smallest pixel pitch, highest resolution, and highest contrast ratio I could find for under $200.

Kicking myself
Pros: The monitor was great. The picture was EXTREMELY vivid and all the colors seemed to jump out. The high resolution allowed for a lot of "Windows Desktop" real estate. The base seemed solid to me, even though it felt rather cheap. I actually liked the touch buttons on the screen. They felt futuristic, albeit impractical at times...
Cons: Alas, the cons... The monitor broke (powered off during use and just refused to power on again) after about 30 days and I did NOT order from NewEgg and I am KICKING myself. NewEgg would have had this resolved in no time flat. Instead, I am having to fight with LG Warranty Services. They are the most useless people I have ever had the grace of dealing with. I have called 3 times and gotten a different story each time. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, they told me there is no supervisor and I would have to wait for a call back! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? I am STILL waiting on tracking information of the monitor heading back to me and it is fast approaching a week. -5 Billion Eggs for LG Customer Support.
Other Thoughts: NewEgg didn't have the item in stock, but another company did. Let's just call that company "deep fried potatoes" Electronics. I realize my issue is probably a random occurrence, but LG's support is appalling. If you buy this, you better hope it breaks in NewEgg's return time frame otherwise you will have to slay the beast that is LG Customer Service. Remember kids, ALWAYS BUY NEWEGG!

Very nice monitor
Pros: Good picture. I like the dedicated 'Source' button for switching between DVI and VGA. Mine came with a DVI and VGA cable. Not sure why other people's didn't.
Cons: Only one DVI and one VGA. I would really like to have a second DVI or an HDMI or DisplayPort, but I knew it didn't have one when I purchased it.
Other Thoughts: Nice monitor, I'm satisfied with my purchase.

Outstanding Value
Pros: Excellent picture and feature set
Cons: No DVI cable included
Other Thoughts: Voted the the 5th best monitor in the value category by leading publication. For the price, this monitor is sweet. Great picture and intuitive touch screen controls that are easy to figure out once gone through a few times.

Great Monitor
Pros: HUGE over my old 14" CRT. Full 1080p. 50000:1 Contrast. CHEAP. Bright enough to kill your eyes at night. Just overall GREAT picture quality, and no delay was noticed in the response time.
Cons: I haven't found a way to clean it that doesn't leave streak marks on the screen. Also, the if you even touch the power plug the monitor will shut off. For me, the plug has to be in the exact right position on the monitor. Seems to display a bit green, but their software fixed it. A Stand that hold the monitor up, but that's about it.
Other Thoughts: Great Quality monitor. Some features are sacrificed for price (HDMI, Quality Stand, Webcam, Speakers), but if you want those, get a different monitor. But this one does not lack picture quality at all.

Thanks Newegg
Pros: This item replaced my old 19" CRT that until now I wouldn't give up because my flatpanel CRT was much better picture quality dispite the lower resolution. The picture is Clean, no dead pixels, and arrived 2 days after I bought it. I looked at several models / brands online then went to see them at local retailers for a firsthand look at the screen quality. This Monitor stood out by far. The stand is not as bad as the other reviews make it sound but it could have been made a little better.
Thanks Newegg!
Cons: The menu is a little quirky like others have said. How hard is it to make it simple? CD was loose in package, no sleeve.
Other Thoughts: I took 1 egg off for the menu, no sleeve for the cd. Might still have been a 5 but the price dropped 30 bucks the day after i bought it in the same week. Pricematching might be a good idea.
Thanks Newegg... :/

LG-Looks Gummy
Pros: I didn't get this one. (whew!) Got a similar one by a name that sounds like "Hey, Zeus!"; Lovely.
Cons: NO VESA Mounts, what the...hey?! Oh, well...weebles, wobbles... The red Power LED looks like a uvula.
Other Thoughts: I do own several other models and they're outstanding; LG Philips used to be the leader in great LCD displays...don't know what happened? Oh, I know....they sold off Philips to become LG Display and now make, yup, you guessed it!...Gumball Machines!

Perfection
Pros: Perfect picture, no dead pixels, very bright and clear. No ghosting or back light leaking.
Cons: No DVI cable. I had to buy one seperate. Kinda odd to sell a quality monitor with a sub par VGA cable. The touch panel menu takes a while to get used to and the stand while nice and shiny, it is hard to adjust.

lg hd
Pros: beautiful colors, sharp text, cool power button
Cons: no height adjustment
Other Thoughts: this is my second lg 22", the first being non 1080. I've been pleased with both purchases and would recommend lg to everyone, even it you have the $'s for more expensive models. I don't understand why LG hasn't added height adjustment to their equipment, if they're not going to add an adjustable stand at least they could have added the fittings on the back for mounts.

Great monitor ...However
Pros: Lets put this straight over the last 7 years I have tried around 25 different LCD monitors on a trial basis ranging from $250 to $650 each and each and every time they came up short compared with my CRT gaming monitors. Yes the LCD is bright however the crispness and quality of my CRT has been up to now unsurpassed. My Monitor is the 61 series W2361VG which is not listed here but I felt compelled to write a review as this one is pretty much the same with few exceptions. The quality of the picture on this is far better then any I have seen in the past in the under $1000 range and although my CRT does look a tad better it is not wide screen and weighs about 75 plus pounds.
Cons: What were you thinking? LG what on earth are you people thinking? this is an excellent monitor with 2 particular problems that really really make me not want to EVER own an LG product.
Listen up as I am Joe consumer telling you people that your stand is utter and absolutely garbage.
And your user controls on the side of this thing could have been in ancient hieroglyphics and be easier to understand. Like i said over the years I have tried at least 25 different models from different manufacturers and not once did I ever have to consult the instructions to operate the controls ... EVER that is until I bought this thing.
Other Thoughts: Someone within the LG company needs to track down the guy who designed the controls and the stand and slap him silly with a New York phone book. I am quite serious here.I would pay up to $100 more for this model if it had a decent stand and easier controls. Not touchscreen just plain easier to navigate. As it is if you offered a 30" monitor for the same price as this with the same controls I would have to pass.

Great Deal
Pros: 1080p great for gaming and Bluray Ultra Sharp Display, Crystal Clear Rather thin for this price range Touch Buttons are pretty cool 0 dead pixels DVI connection
Cons: Only 60hz Cheap Stand
Other Thoughts: Bought this monitor for 179.99$, it has gone up in price and will most likely continue until about 250$ or so....

Too Big
Pros: Very crisp display, looks great straight out of the box. No dead pixels. Very shiny casing. Very stylish.
Cons: The stand is a little wobbly. I'm not worried about it falling, but my monitor wiggles a little when I bump my desk or even walk too close to it. Also, I can't seem to tilt it. I haven't tried too hard, but I'm afraid of torquing the stand too much. It works very well now, tho, so I'm just leaving it.
The menu system is very confusing. The buttons aren't even buttons, but touch sensors on the frame. They light up when your finger gets near (before you even touch it - very cool!) but they are quite temperamental, and you have to be quick to make minor adjustments without the settings zipping up and down. Also, it's hard to read the labels on the buttons, even in my fairly lit room.
The auto-adjust set the screen two or three pixels too high. I moved it down and it's perfect now.
Too big; I had to clean the laundry off my desk to make room.
Other Thoughts: All-in-all, a very good monitor once you get used to the quirks. None of the cons are too terrible, and if it didn't wiggle so easily it'd have a definite 5 stars. Would buy again.

Yay
Pros: + Price + Free shipping!! + 1080P + I like the touch-sensitive controls, personally
+ 4:3 mode easily accessed from the OSD menu so you can run older games or surf the internet without stretching the image beyond belief. Just a couple button selections and it's done, very quick and easy.
+ Simply put the monitor into the stand and you're done + Didn't find any noticeably stuck or dead pixels
Cons: - No HDMI input makes me sad, but I knew this - No DVI cable included - Still messing with the color calibration to get something I like
Other Thoughts: I deducted an egg because the 23" and larger versions of this monitor have an HDMI input, but oh well. Lack of DVI cable also a factor. But other than that, the price, picture, screen resolution all make for a definite buy.

Great Price
Pros: Brightness and contrast are excellent. Able to produce vivid colors. Response time is extremely fast, great for gaming and video/multimedia. Very light in weight as compared to other screens of similar size. Excellent energy usage and saving features. Price was very good for the feature set.
Cons: - Control panel 'buttons' a bit quirky to use. - Documentation insanely bad. (not that many will need it) - Widescreen format not necessarily the best for all purposes (i.e. Photoshop, some games).
Other Thoughts: Like many LCDs, can be difficult to color calibrate even with high end colorimeters.

Amazing
Pros: No dead pixels at all, great fast shipping
About the monitor itself, well, it's amazing. The colors look great, pictures, games, everything. Plus the resolution is amazing. My graphics card still gets good frame rates even with the monitor at full resolution, but then again I have an EVGA nVidia 8800 GTS that I o/c'd. So those with no card or worse ones may not be able to enjoy this fully. However for me this monitor is just perfect.
Cons: No DVI cable... But just ordered one from newegg. They're pretty cheap, anyway.
Also, the stand seems a little flimsy but it holds fine, had no problems with it. (not really a con?)
Other Thoughts: Got it for my birthday, so it was free... Even better!

Sweet Monitor
Pros: This is a really great monitor. The colors really pop and the 2ms response time rocks. I play CSS alot and my crosshairs are like green lasors now. It has made a HUGE difference in what I can see in games. I came from a 450 dollar sony monitor I bought four years ago that had the bravia engine. This moinitor absolutely destroys it.
Cons: You must correct gamma and contrast after you pull it out of the box.
Other Thoughts: When I turned it on initially I noticed the picture was very washed out and the colors seemed dim. I simply found some greyscale color maps and adjusted my gamma, brightness, and contrast and it looks perfect.

First Review
Pros: *1920x1080(1080p) *No buttons makes for a clean layout. *2ms(GTG) *"50000:1" *No dead pixels (not really a pro sense it should be standard, but I know its not always the case) *4 eggs for doing what its supposed to
Cons: These are things i just didn't like, not really cons, as I knew about them well in advance.
*no DVI cable (I did not have one laying around. So it added 15 dollar mark up on the monitor it self)
*No cleaning cloth.( Samsung spoiled me by throwing one in, used it for everything, but it only cost 3 dollars for that)
Again not really cons as it seems they passed on the saving to the consumer.
*Ran out of room in "other thoughts"
I first noticed the HUGE advantage having a good monitor is, in a game, or any other detail-orientated PC application. When I bought my Samsung 226BW a little over 4 years ago now.It had a 3000:1 dynamic contrast ratio & a static of 700:1.

Other Thoughts: At the time playing CS:S & soon there after CoD4 was unreal.I could manage shoots/see people/moment from vast distances & even across the map(pipeline,Strike, crash, ect.) with out a problem.I sold it about 2 half years after owning it to make more time for school/work.Now that I just work I was looking for a monitor that can deliver the same type of experience.I was ecstatic to see the advancements in monitor technology when I saw 50000:1 & all the other "Pros" this monitor had.Although I don't have my old Samsung to do a side by side I KNOW this one is not as good. The colors blend in to one another TOO well making it hard to tell enemies from backdrops.I tried everything from color tweaking the monitor it self & my video card. But nothing seems to help.To make a long story short, if your upgrading from a 19 inch and below & don't really play games, GREAT BUY.Other then that if you already have a good monitor, stick with it, chances are its better then this.
Newegg rocks.
Thank YO

excellent
Pros: This monitor is so easy to set up. It took at most 10 seconds to put the base on. It is so light!! My old 15" lcd was 2-3 times the weight. I was expecting to spend plenty of time adjusting the colors and brightness. It looked ALMOST perfect when I plugged it in. It is very bright and seemed to give me a headache. Using the monitor's adjustments I put the brightness from 100% down to 70% and now its perfect. Coming from a 15" 1280x720 monitor it is a huge improvement. I expected a 22" to be bigger but I guess that is because I had that HUGE mac. I also checked for any dead/stuck pixels. NONE!
Cons: NO SPEAKERS. I didn't think I would care to much considering I have surround sound in the room which this monitor is in but not having speakers within the monitor is getting me annoyed already. Oh well, the looks make up for it and I will buy some cheap computer speakers
Stand is slightly wobbly but it isn't tipping over unless you hit it pretty hard
The increase of pixels sure puts strain on your graphics card. Guess my GTS 250 may need to be replaced? =]]]
Other Thoughts: I think I need to get a blu-ray player? I would rather watch movies on this than my 40" LCD =X
No DVI cable included. If you get this amazing monitor plan on buying one because VGA is garbage. I just happened to have an extra DVI Monster Cable laying around from my old setup(Upgraded to HDMI of course)

Great Monitor at a Great Price
Pros: I've had this monitor for about 2 weeks now and I have to say I love it. The picture is so crisp and clear. Everything from my games to videos looks so much sharper brighter.
The price at the time I bought it couldn't be beat and with free shipping made it all worth while. It arrived at my home within just a few days and there was no damage to the packaging or the monitor itself.
No dead pixels at all!
Setup was easy. It took me literally 2 minutes to set it up after getting it out of the box. And as soon as I booted up my computer and got to my desktop the monitor self adjusted the screen, didn't have to manually adjust anything.
It's Full HD and 1080 with a 2ms response time with a 50,000:1 contrast ratio. Plus its a widescreen! This is one sick monitor! All for under $200!
Cons: No DVI cord included. But I just went and bought one from Newegg anyway for around 9 bucks with gold plated connectors.
Other Thoughts: This really is a great monitor. I can't think of a single thing wrong with it or anything that I don't like about it. If you have the chance buy this monitor you won't regret it. A
nd with Newegg's service and shipping you won't be disappointed. I know I wasn't.

Amazing monitor at a GREAT price!
Pros: This monitor is absolutely gorgeous! I was looking in the $200 price range for a new widescreen LCD to replace one of my three old 18" LCDs, but I wanted a decent resolution - over 1,000px vertical. When I came across this one, it was almost too good to be true - it's under $200, 1080p resolution, great contrast ratio, and it looks great, too! I was skeptical, but it really is that good. I was so impressed with it, that a day after receiving it, I ordered another one, and decided to replace all three of my LCDs with two of these. I couldn't be happier! I would HIGHLY recommend this monitor!
Oh, and the controls are super cool - the bottom right front of the bezel is touch-sensitive, and all of the controls are there. As your finger approaches the bezel, the buttons light up. The LCD also does some other neat stuff - like turning off when it detects a blank screen - I use Linux, so I don't get to play with the other software-features, but they look neat.
Cons: Nothing major - LG probably couldn't have made the stand any cheaper, but what can you expect in this price range. It holds the LCD in place, so it does its job, it's just very flimsy. Also, the controls are very cool, but it would have been nice if LG put lights behind the labels, because they're tough to read in the dark - also the touch-sensitive buttons take a little getting used to (although they are pretty awesome).

A perfect replacement for that old CRT
Pros: No dead pixels, had it set up in under five minutes. It took me longer to remove the old CRT from the desk.
2ms refresh & full 1080p at a great price.
As mentioned in other reviews, no DVI cable is a bit of a downer, but judging by the quality of the included VGA cable, I'm just as well buying one.
At the same time, the VGA out is useful, as I am able to use it to service a computer next to my desktop without need for a KVM.
Front buttons (really touch sensor areas) take some getting used to, but are not hard to control, and give the monitor a very sleek appearance.
Very sharp, crisp graphics, good for games and movies. Made a perfect replacement for my CRT from 1998, also dropped the temperatures in my room (that CRT was HOT! Not in a good way.)
Since I installed this, I have had only very minor issues not enough to douse my enthusiasm.
Sturdier than I expected (withstood being jumped on by cats not used to flat monitor twice).
Cons: Touch sensor areas could be quicker response, but work.
Tilting mechanism is very stiff, feels as iff the plastic housing is flexing when adjusting the monitor, nevertheless in the two times a cat has jumped on it, expecting something like my old CRT big enough to stand on, it has not broken or cracked, or even developed dead pixels. In fact, the cat showed me 'yes this montior can be tilted, as it was SO stiff that I feared breaking it and stopped trying to adjust it. The cat however tilted it, and once I ascertained it wasn't broken, I discovered the tilting mechanism.
Not as easy to clean as a CRT.
Other Thoughts: Very satisfied, a few minor quirks, but all around a product well worth the modest price.

Just what I needed
Pros: Great contrast and color reproduction, and the screen is big and wide. For this price, you won't find a better monitor.
I do video editing and audio production, so it's great to have the timeline stretch across this wide monster of a screen.
I didn't have any problems attaching the base, and it seems sturdy enough. Coming from a bulky CRT, I was surprised at how light it was. And how much room I have on my desk now!
The curved power light is great. And I love the way the menu buttons light up and pulse to life. There are so many little details that make it a sexy monitor.
Cons: I know I'm probably beating a dead horse here, but not including a DVI cable is just mean. Analog does not do this screen justice.
The front menu buttons are great, but not very intuitive. Fortunately, LG included a disc with software to let you adjust everything within Windows.
Other Thoughts: This is the one to buy. You won't regret it.

Great Monitor
Pros: Beautiful display. Looks great, sharp, fast, bright, no dead pixels. It has a no button interface that works well. And it's also cheap.
Cons: No DVI cable but luckily had several laying around.
Other Thoughts: Not really a major con but it attracts dust like crazy, easy to wipe off though.

Brilliant but why no DVI cable?
Pros: Super sharp, super fast, super clear, full HD resolution.
Cons: Surely if you're only going to include one cable it should be the DVI-D, right? Who's going to be running a 1080p monitor using VGA? Having used both I can say it looks *much* better with the digital hook-up.
One point off for the irritation of waiting an extra 3 days for the DVI-D cable to arrive.
Other Thoughts: In addition to all the above, it's also a super dust magnet.

Great monitor
Pros: This monitor is a really great deal, 1080p for under $200. I went from a 17" 1440X900 and I'm glad i went up in monitor size this much! Games look alot better with this monitor too. Also, no dead or stuck pixels whatsoever, I'm really happy about that.
Cons: These are kinda nit picky, no DVI cable included. Also this isn't really an issue but, no HDMI input. (In no way are these reasons not to get this monitor at all!!)

I'm in love.
Pros: This monitor is fantastic...it looks amazing and just feels high quality. There are no dead pixels. There are no "buttons" everything is done by touch sensors (power, menu, etc). When you touch any of the senors, a nice red string of lights appears to guide you to the screen options (makes it feel futuristic - to me at least haha)
The screen fit into the base in *i timed it* 30 seconds - It literally drops right in and stays secure...amazingly simple - you cant mess this up.
Everything is very crisp as you would expect - text, pictures, games, etc. I am very impressed.
The Driver Installation CD was very easy to install and has useful calibration tools built into it (update the driver through Advanced Display Settings - Search the disc drive). There is also a program that allows you to save custom settings for watching movies, playing games, or anything else...it would be very easy for someone to just click and change their monitor settings if that's what they wanted.
Cons: Did not come with a DVI cable - just means I'm going to have to go out and buy one - no big deal. I don't know if having DVI or having a regular VGA cable really matters that much...I'll probably just get one regardless.
Other Thoughts: In my opinion, this monitor is awesome - I'd recommend it to anyone. Coming from 1440 x 900 resolution, this is a HUGE improvement. I love how big the screen is compared to my 19 inch widescreen...
The colors are also very vibrant...Mirror's Edge never looked so good with my GTX260
