FANTASTIC GAMING MONITOR!
Pros: There is a HUGE difference between playing an EXTREMELY fast paced game like Unreal Tournament III @ 75Hz & 120Hz
Cons: I didn't buy one earlier
Other Thoughts: My eyes are a bit more relaxed now :)

Awesome
Pros: This thing has great colors, bright viewing and smooth as can be at any refresh rate, I have ati so have no clue how the 3d is and bought it for the eye strain and so far it's working, I do a lot of gaming for extended periods and work from it and my other new monitor wasn,t cutting it
Cons: none so far! i will post for sure if anything changes I had to buy elsewhere to save money
Other Thoughts: stand seams fine to me but I don't knock my monitor around, anyhow I am replacing a sam syncmaster mega dollar one and this rocks it 100% for colors especially since they arent washed out like my other. (from new) I would highly recomend this to anyone who wants to reduce eye strain and doe4sn't mind the 1680x1050 max resolution, I am totally impressed.
My 1st viewsonic and I'm sold for sure on bang for buck P.S. just use your card drivers for adjustments if needed, I put mine back to default cause this was very tuned in out of box-That's a 1st

120Hz of awesome
Pros: Incredibly smooth motion when watching videos and playing games. The 3D Vision support is nice too, it makes all my PC games feel like I am playing them for the first time.
Cons: There is some backlight bleeding, but it's really only noticeable when the entire screen is black.
Other Thoughts: Great LCD display that's easy on the eyes.

Solid ViewSonic
Pros: It's what I've come to expect from ViewSonic, a fast display, good color, with an ultra bright backlight. This monitor works great at 120hz for desktop use but really good for gaming. No tearing or ghosting. Works fantastic with nvidia 3d vision.
Cons: Stand is wobbley, its wobbley enough that I wasn't sure if I should take off one egg or two. Built in speakers are lousy. In extremely dark screens there is some backlight bleed on the edges, but that's something I've always gotten on view sonic monitors.
Other Thoughts: If you are lazy and try to reuse your old DVI cable the monitor won't work in 120hz. You have to use the included DVI-D cable.

Great gaming LCD
Pros: 120hz (duh), good color quality, NVIDIA 3D.
No more tearing in first-person shooters with V-Sync disabled!
Cons: No on-monitor calibration when in 120hz, black's could be darker (can be minimized with calibration, but it'll never be as good as some others; See Other Thoughts), stand feels kinda iffy (not like it'll collapse on it's own, but definitely wouldn't want to throw it around.)
Other Thoughts: The other reviewers are all missing the point. This is a gaming monitor at it's core, and to nitpick the way they do is like complaining your drag racer doesn't have leather seating and a navigation system.

Makes all other monitors obsolete
Pros: This monitor is great! I was waiting for a LCD to be able to run at 120 Hz since they first came out. Games seem much more fluid. The colors look amazing, it is much brighter then my old monitor, I had to turn it down a little. I didn't notice any color bleeding the previous reviewer mentioned.
Cons: As others have said the stand can wobble, but it's not really an issue. The button settings on the monitor are a little weak, theres no auto configuration just two buttons to change the brightness settings.
Other Thoughts: $250 is a hefty price for a 22" monitor when you can pay the same for a 24" or even a 26", but well worth it in my opinion. Keep in mind that you have to go into advanced display settings and change the Hz to 120, I forgot that lol :). Some games have the option to change the Hz in the video settings, but I'd recommend using a program like Powerstrip or Reforce to force the refresh rate at 120 Hz. I haven't used the 3D glasses, I bought it just for the 120 Hz.

JJ Walker say... It's Dy-no-mite!
Pros: Finally gave in and forked over the funds for a new montior... I build computers for a living and am always the last one in line for any upgrade! However, I do get the opportunity to test all the latest and greatest hardware. After testing this amazing and affordable display, I just could not resist! Finally a wide-screen LCD to rival even the highest quality CRT! I use it for everything Including running graphics benchmarks on my customers machines! @ 120Hz It's the perfect gaming monitor IMO! Sounds like the guy below me tapped into a bad batch of monitors! Both the monitor I tested and the one I own show any signs of defect. Do yourself a big favor and get this monitor!
Cons: The stand is not the best, but believe me, I've seen a lot worse...
Other Thoughts: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Very poor quality
Pros: 120hz, wonderfully fluid motion and responsiveness.
Cons: Everything else. The colors are sub-par at best, especially dark ones. I have now owned two of these monitors, and returned both. The backlight bleed isn't just bad, it is obscene. This monitor absolutely, positively cannot display the color black over 60% of its surface area. Anything even remotely dark will show up as bluish purple. I have owned many LCD monitors, and I have never seen backlight bleed this severe. Having returned two of the units so far, I feel confident in saying that this is a design problem, not an isolated defect. Totally unacceptable.
Other Thoughts: Unfortunately for those who want 120hz, there are very few options. I hope that shortly more become available.

Beautiful
Pros: Apparently nobody here has a good eye because this monitor is absolutely gorgeous when running at 120Hz. This is, as another reviewer stated, finally a worthy replacement for my good old CRT. With twice the frames being thrown at you in the same amount of time, you have a better chance of spotting something in a game as well as being able to better track enemies due to the smoother playback. *This is of course if your video card can push out 120 fps.*
Cons: It has quite a bit of back light bleed, the stand is unstable if your desk is unstable, and there really isn't much you can do to change brightness/color settings on the monitor itself. Honestly though, if you're purchasing a monitor like this, you should already have a good video card which would allow you to change all that and more through the graphics drivers. Also, the back light bleed isn't really noticeable in game unless you're looking at pitch black.
Other Thoughts: If you are thinking of purchasing this monitor, be sure you really need it. For many users that play games casually a normal 60Hz monitor may suffice. However for everyone who is serious about their game, this monitor is amazing. It may or may not make you a better player depending on your ability, but it sure as hell looks nice.

AWESOME
Pros: Awesome! That's all I can say! Purely the best monitor I've ever had!
Cons: NONE, ZERo,0
Other Thoughts: I live in Alaska and when I did some shopping around I found that this place chared me $65.00 to ship standand or $130 to ship 2nd day air. I went to Viewsonic web site and they charged way, way less for shiping. Product was same price ( which is good) but the shiping was out of control here. Word to the wise, shop around.

Nice
Pros: Nice monitor, crisp, nice colors, fast!
Cons: Stand could be a little more sturdy.
Other Thoughts: The 120 hz refresh rate is very nice. I'm using this with the nVidia 3d glasses, it's been real fun. I'm not having any edge light bleed like a few others have reported.

120 HZ is like butta!
Pros: 120 hz feels amazing playing pretty much any game that will give you 100hz and over. I always used crts. I hated all lcds that were 60hz. Felt like i was playing games in quick sand. However, i was only able to get 100hz out of both my crts. I can honestly say i noticed a difference going from 100hz to 120hz. My mouse flies across the screen. Also i love how much more crisper and sharper everything is compared to the crt. (Digital dvi vs analog vga)
Cons: Just wish there was an info button like on crts which tells your resolution and hz. But, i read that u can tell its doing 120hz if u hit the brightness and contrast buttons and nothing happens, so this is not really a con.
Other Thoughts: I love this thing. No OS display, but who cares, doesnt really matter when you have nvidia control panel to make all the necessary adjustments. I had to boost the digital vibrance from 50 to 65 and turn down the brightness from 50 to like 40 or so. Dont plan on using this for 3d vision, just love how my fps games feel raging at 100hz+. On a side note, I have to sell both my 21 inch crts which each weigh about 75lbs.

Nice monitor
Pros: Nice 120hz. Works with 3d vision (I haven't tried this yet, I will later). No ghosting or dead pixels, not a big problem with backlight bleed on mine. You can turn off V-Sync on all games, with no tearing.
Cons: Coming from a 24" monitor I had before, its sad they couldn't make this a 24" monitor also. It looks good, I like the monitor, but thats the one thing I would change, if I could change anything. Oh yeah, the stand is kind of CHEAP. I am deathly afraid of the monitor breaking off the stand, it's just so wobbly.
Other Thoughts: Get this if you need 3d vision and are ok with running in 1680x1050 instead of 19x12.

Great Screen
Pros: Great screen. The 120hz refresh is noticeable as soon as you switch it over.
Battlefield heroes, Demigod, L4D, COD4 - all seem smoother.
Very bright - good colors.
Should be even more fun when I upgrade and can use the 3Dvision
Cons: As everyone says the stand is a joke - it wobbles. My friend was jumping up and down in my room (he is crazy) and the monitor on my desk was wobbling...
Again - as everyone says there is a real lack of OSD / adjustment. Doesn't really bother me
Other Thoughts: If you game - get this or the samsung. The only real downside of 120hz is that you are going to want your PC to be pushing more FPS than ever before.
Also it is a steal at 250.

Decent monitor with a few flaws
Pros: The screen is very crisp and clear thanks to the 120hz refresh. It is also very bright, which may be a con if you are in a darker environment.
Cons: I was unable to adjust the brightness/contrast using the buttons on the monitor. They did nothing when pressed (except click). I ended up controlling brightness and contrast via the video driver. The stand adjustability is near non-existant. The screen can tilt up slightly.
Other Thoughts: If you're looking for a cheap 3d gaming monitor, this will do the trick. The colors are good and I haven't seen any ghosting, but the brightness may be a little too much if you're sensitive to that sort of thing.

Great monitor!
Pros: Its great! Its bright, it is 120hz, and it has a nice resolution as well! The color is great too! I see things in a whole new way, that I have never seen surpassed before!
Cons: It can be a little wobbly. It also seems too big (not really a con though)
Other Thoughts: It is really nice, I am using the ATI HD4870 (soon to be a 5870 after the price drop) Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 CPU, and this setup runs my games great! I used to have a 17in VGA LCD, and this seems alot bigger, brighter, and overall better.

Quality 3D Experience
Pros: It's 1680x1050x120Hz resolution is terrific for 3D gaming. The unit is exceptionally bright and switches to it's maximum brightness at 120Hz, which is good when wearing 3D glasses. Standard gloss black finish is unobtrusive. It is easy to assemble and connect up this monitor and it comes with the required dual-link DVI cable.
Cons: Stand works on a solid surface but screen could jiggle on a wobbly desk. Brightness control only. No height adjustment. Stand is shorter than other Viewsonics I own.
Other Thoughts: My impression is this monitor was designed to be used with nVidia's 3D vision glasses, for which it works well. If you will not be using these glasses then I recommend considering another monitor.

Very nice 120hz LCD
Pros: This LCD is very nice... Ultra nice, Superior in everyway... well, I'm exaggerating, but this monitor out beats my preivous 22" LCD From BenQ...
The LCD Turns on almost instantly compared to my other monitor which is around 5 seconds if not longer.
120Hz is Great and less strain to the eyes then the 60Hz LCD's.
Goes well with the Nvidia 3D Vision Glass's.
Cons: Nothing that I've come across yet to make it a bad monitor... Which makes me wonder why people complain about it.
Other Thoughts: Using Windows 7 RC Build 7100... No need to load Monitor Drivers...
Using Intels Q6600 Processor, PNY GTX260, 4 Gigs of ram and this monitor...

3D Vision View Sonic vx2265 Fuzion
Pros: Very fast response rate using up to 120hz, which makes games run faster an smoother if. Feels like you have anotehr video card installed. Enables a maximum of 120 FPS. I used this monitor with no 3D vision glasses for 3 days an i enjoyed my games much faster than they were. 3D is worth it for games. I tested this on lower end video cards (evga's 8800 gtx) works great. It's very clear easy to use. 3D is new for a lot of people an haven't quite gotten their hands on affordable price like this one comepared to the other 120hz monitors. I play Aion Online with this. No problems. All I needed was DVI which this has only directly into video card. Has a built in speaker which will play sound. decent if you don't have any sound at all you can always use sound from your monitor. I'd grabbed this when it was 250$ from here. I was going to pay $299 anyhow so this is also great place to grab it.
Cons: None.

Finally.. a worthy CRT replacement.
Pros: 120hz refresh rate. For gaming, this monitor is simply amazing. I built an i7 SLI gaming rig 9 months ago expecting to be enthralled back into the world of PC gaming again after a hiatus with consoles... but something didn't feel right.
I unplugged my DELL 2405 and hooked up an old 19" CRT from the closet, lo and behold, things felt right again. After doing research and reading about response rates and input lag I came to the conclusion that this monitor is what I needed. The speed of a CRT with the clarity of an LCD.
Cons: A few, but they are dwarfed by the 120hz refresh rate. First off, you can't make color adjustments on the monitor itself, you have to do it with software. This isn't is all bad if you make your adjustments in Windows 7 Color Calibration settings or use your video card driver suite (ATI Catalyst Control in my case.)
You do get brightness controls, but they are disabled when the monitor is in 120hz mode (actually becomes useful if you want to be absolutely positive your game is running at 120hz). For giggles I hooked up the speakers, they are terrible.
Other Thoughts: I read a lot of knocks on this monitor pertaining to the TN panel and backlight bleed. It sits next to my Dell 2405 (a monitor I paid $900 dollars for "back in the day") and it's just as nice looking. Great color and contrast. The bleed is minimal and not distracting. I did some adjusting with the ATI drivers and was able to get it's color to match the Dell's (I do graphic design work, so that is important.) It takes some work and a good eye to calibrate but it's worth it, and doing it in software has it's advantages (easily recall profiles, etc.). I also use a newer pair of Dell 2408's at work and the ViewSonic looks on par with the color they reproduce, even though specs would have you believe different. It's all in the calibration.
Obviously it's priced higher, but if you care about PC gaming at all, it's a necessity. PC games finally feel as they should, and I'm regularly getting in the top 3 in Quake Live FFA ;)

Second review followup
Pros: As i said before, 120 hz is pretty cool if your hardware can handle it, my GTX260 is pretty close
Cons: View last review below...
Other Thoughts: Made the RMA through newegg, viewsonic didnt seem to want to deal with it, told me to go through my retailer instead, lucky it was newegg. Last monitor has horrendous backlight bleeding, the new monitor i just got is significantly better, but still slightly noticeable.
I wont ever be buying a viewsonic monitor again, will definitely stay with samsung or LG, the extra cost of those monitors is definitely worth it. Viewsonic support took 4 days to get 2 emails from them about my problem.

Great monitor
Pros: Great brightness. Sharp design. Visually appealing frame. I like that the on-off switch is blue.
The 120hz refresh = no tearing in games. I don't really notice that movement is any more fluid than compared to my 60hz display.
Screen adjusts.
Nvidia 3d vision. I will use this monitor, and buy another one if it breaks, because I am in love with the 3d vision system. To be honest, my entire review could be a link to the 3d vision product page with a smiley face.
Cons: Unless you have nvidia 3d vision, the added cost of 120 hz may not rock your socks off.
Other Thoughts: This monitor can't be reviewed alone. To be fair, it should be considered as one-half of nvidia's 3d vision setup. I have a review for that product as well. In light of how much I love my 3d vision, this monitor could do just about anything and still get a positive review from me in light of how well the 3d vision system is implemented on it.

Pros: This beauty runs at 120Hz, crystal clear image and pretty easy to set up. Other people say that it's too bright, but i don't know what they're talking about! this thing is a masterpiece!
Cons: none!

Not as good as i hoped
Pros: 120hz, looks great if you have the power for it. Bought it before it went on sale for $317, cancelled it luckily before it shipped and got it for $250 :)
Cons: maybe i got one of the bad ones...
-Backlight bleed. looks absolutely terrible on most games that have darkness, makes it look blue instead of black. Very noticeable. I've never even noticed on 2 other monitors i have. -Brightness button doesnt work on the monitor. Have to use the driver controls. -Hard to get most modern games up to 120fps without dual gpus, not the monitors fault though. I get around 80-100fps with a 260gtx
Other Thoughts: Sent a request to viewsonic about the backlight bleeding today. Waiting for a reply on it, hope i can RMA it or something. I wish i spent the extra hundred to get the samsung.

I dont know why there is so much mixed feedback on this monitor...its spectacular!
Pros: Beautiful color - Physical design is gorgeous - No more texture tearing and slicing! - Did not need to calibrate out of the box, was far more crisp and colorful than my previous LCD (1 yr old) - Other people have claimed the BIOS does not show up and have complained about bad backlight bleed on this monitor however it works fine for me - Incredible difference between 60 and 120hz...without changing any other settings it seemed like my mouse speed was increased...I would compare it to having Vsync on vs off just on a standard 60hz monitor...horrible lag when its actually enabled...Packaging was superb.
Cons: Stand is slightly wobbly as others have mentioned, this is minimal and does not bother me - No OSD (Once again, does not bother me, this thing was so much more colorful and crisp out of the box than my old monitor!) This monitor seriously has so many pros to it that these minimal things are virtually non-existant.
Other Thoughts: A freaking steal at $249.99 w/ free shipping (on sale). I told myself I would buy the first 120hz monitor that dropped down to $250 or less. Now I wish I would have forked out the $340 this normally runs the day this monitor released...everything is SO much more fluid in video games...no more texture slicing I seriously cannot describe how much you need this if you consider yourself a gamer and your PC is able to push at least 120 FPS on the games you normally play.

Re: Screen to bright guy
Pros: next
Cons: next
Other Thoughts: Re: the person who said this monitor is too bright.
You need to adjust it on your video card's settings. This monitor was made to use with glasses, which is why the brightness at max is necessary. If you're not using them with glasses, try looking up "calibrate lcd" on google, and you'll find many sources for fine-tuning your monitor using your video card's settings.

Works, but no OSD
Pros: I use this monitor with the nVidia 3d Vision glasses, works perfectly, and I have no complaints about the graphics quality of this panel.
Cons: No on screen display for adjusting brightness, and this panel is just under hurt-your-eyes bright, which it has to be becuase of the way the 3d Vision Glasses work (they block alot of light). Very minor nit-pick, but the volume controls for speakers are backwards of every other device on the planet (instead of right button volume up, left one down, these are backwards)
Other Thoughts: With no OSD, you have to adjust settings in Windows with graphics card drivers panel.

Incredible gaming display!!!
Pros: I have tried out several LCD's over the years and they never impressed me especially coming from a SONY FW-900 CRT. I am very excited and happy to say that this LCD is truly where LCDs need to be in terms of performance for gaming. 120Hz feels so darn good and looks so darn sexy! The colors are solid and the overall craftsmanship of the LCD is superb albeit a not so perfect stand. I have a very solid desk though so the LCD doesn't shake for me. If you are a gamer and you want to have an edge in FPS then you need to try this LCD out. Mark my words, if you are a gamer, you will enjoy this LCD immensely and laugh at the idea of other gamers out there using an inferior 60Hz display. I received a display with perfect back lighting and zero dead pixels / stuck pixels. Bravo ViewSonic! Bravo!
Cons: No OSD and not the greatest stand.

Incredible
Pros: I've had this monitor for two days now, and I can honestly say that I've never been so amazed by a display before. There's something magical about playing at high resolutions with 120hz refresh rate... it's just something that everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime. The color adjustments were necessary on the video card, but that's to be expected; nothing comes out of the box perfectly customized! This monitor is not for the person who is unwilling to do a little playing around with settings in order to get it exactly how you wish it to look.
Cons: The stand is a little wobbly, however, with a solid desk, you won't notice the wobbling at all. I completely blame the wobble on my desk... the stand is secure and I have zero worry about it ever failing.
It wasn't free :) but you get what you pay for with this baby.
Other Thoughts: Although there are many complaints about the stand being wobbly and lack of OSD for monitor-side configuration, there is much more to be said for how crisp and vibrant the colors appear. I've gone through my fair share of displays, both CRT and LCD technologies, and I can say that this is by far my most enjoyed. I am not surprised though, because it didn't come without a little price tag of $350.

Good picture - CANT SEE BIOS.
Pros: Picture is awesome, games play amazing - Its nice to turn Vsync off and get 100+ fps without tearing.
Cons: I do not understand why they would sell it like it is, but this monitor will NOT show your bios or startup menu. The monitor stays "hibernated" until windows is booted up. Called customer support, was told to use a VGA cable to see bios; problem is, there is NO VGA plug.
The stand is a bit shaky, but nothing too bad. Didnt bother me any.
Other Thoughts: I was very impressed with the monitor, but when I tried to overclock my CPU, I noticed it would not show my bios. Very annoying.
Do not buy if you visit your bios options often.

Good but better models out there
Pros: Great gaming!! No ghosting on any game. Nothing else.
Cons: Only brightness control!!! Viewsonic made the whole monitor on the cheap and bumped up the price as a cash cow product. New 240hz models will be out soon, just like they are for LCD TV's.
Other Thoughts: My Dell's 2209a ultrasharp 22" work monitor is much better due to the S-IPS panel with NO GHOSTING and cheaper with better color. Viewsonic used the CHEAP TN panel and it shows with POOR colors and limited controls. No professional sites are recommending this monitor since it is over priced for what it is.

Except for 1 thing....
Pros: No more game lag! 120hz absolutely rocks. Remember that dull looking Viewsonic 19" CRT that you thought was keeping you above the rest of the field with their LCD'S? Well, CRT owners beware...this thing is faster and looks way better too!
Cons: Stop crying about the stand. You don't hang your coat on it. If it's wobbling while you play FPS online games, then you need to rethink your technique.
Other Thoughts: Here's the 1 thing that really makes this monitor lose it's 5 star rating. 1680x1050 at 120hz looks and responds wonderfully. At ANY OTHER resolution it looks horrible! You CAN NOT play games at 1440x900 or anything lower because it's more blurry than last Saturday night's party recollection. Some online shooter games (older games) just perform better at lower resolutions. If you don't have SLI or CF, than you may wannna think twice about this monitor's native resolution. It's the ONLY resolution that works properly. My dual GTX280's eat this alive, BUT my single 4850 has troubles with such a high res on fast online shooters... Sorry Charlie...no 800x600 hackers allowed!

Maybe some are bad?
Pros: Does exactly what it's advertised to do- output at 120hz and work with NVidia's 3D Vision system. Easy to set up, big screen, bright, pretty.
Cons: As previously mentioned, the neck stand is very thin, so I fear every time my desk happens to shake. Additionally, the monitor is somewhat lacking in customizibility- it has four buttons, two for volume and two for brightness. And on the one that I got, the brightness buttons don't work.
Other Thoughts: Brightness buttons not working was probably a fluke, and I hope Viewsonic will take care of that soon. Other than that, and the poor design of the stand, if you want 3D, this one's $100 cheaper than the Samsung for the same resolution.

Great monitor for FPS and games, Bad for normal users
Pros: It can do 120hz for gaming and everything will be smooth as butter. I own a NEC 2490WUXI, and the difference I see is amazing. There is absolutely no stuttering and blurred images when turning around in FPS games. I can actually shoot better with the Garand and Carbine in Day of Defeat Source. I didn't notice how much I sucked at the Garand because of the screen I use. The 2490WUXI is designed to for color accuracy for photo and professional editing. I was going to buy the Samsung but this one ended up being $60 cheaper. It's okay, I can sacrifice the OSD of the Samsung for $60. I have no dead pixels on my screen.
Cons: The stand is a bit wobbly when you move the monitor around. But who constantly keeps moving their monitor on their desk? I don't know why people complain that the stand wobbles too much, what do people do ontop of their desks? There is no OSD so you can only adjust screen brightness and the integrated speaker sound from the front panel. The speakers are not the best in quality but they sound decent. I haven't tried hooking XBOX360 or PS3 through HDMI to DVI converter yet. There is a bit of backlight bleeding but only noticeable on a black screen. So if you like black screens for your desktop, yeah you're going to see the some backlight bleeding.
Other Thoughts: There was one person complaining about 120hz not working in XP. I have it working in 120hz fine in XP. You just have to know how to manually install the drivers. Word of caution though, USE THE DVI CABLE that comes with the monitor. A normal DVI cable will make your 120hz look like 4 split screen on your monitor. If you look at the regular DVI and the one that comes with the monitor you will notice that the 120hz DVI cable has more pins. I also tested it in Vista 64-Bit, 120hz worked fine with the installation of the drivers. I wouldn't buy this monitor if you're not an FPS game player. It's not going to help you in WoW or solitaire. This is strictly for the FPS crowd and people who can't give up the 120hz or don't want lag. Some people can't see the difference but I can and tested it at lagom.nl to see the lag difference between this monitor and my 2490WUXI, the $1,200 monitor lagged behind at 0.030 seconds against this monitor. Of course that monitor wasn't made for gaming.

Very Nice Monitor!
Pros: This completes our Ultimate Gaming Computer! With its sleek modern looks, it's atreat to look at. This monitor replaced our 19" ViewSonic monitor & this one feels so much bigger, due to the 16:9 aspect ratio (widescreen). It works perfectly with our 2 EVGA GeForce GTX 280 SLI linked video cards. No problems running at 120Hz with Windows XP. My son says the on-line gaming is amazing!
Cons: Shiny surfaces show dust & finger prints. The pedestal is too skinny, so any table movement causes the screen to shake. It's hard to hide the rear cables with the skinny pedestal. I used some split tubing to hide the cables. No on screen display of volume or screen brightness, only the blue power LED flashes. Kinda hard to see where the setting is without the on screen display.
Other Thoughts: The monitor was shipped in the factory box. It wasn't even sealed, just a shipping sticker slapped on the side. Luckily, I was home, since UPS would have left it on the porch for anyone to take! Hence the reason for 4 & not 5 eggs.

Totally worth it
Pros: 120 Hz: You can turn off vsync and uncap fps in most games and not see much (if any) tearing; or leave vsync on and get fps divisors of 60 then 40 (as opposed to 30 then 20), so it stays relatively smooth and more responsive.
2-3ms Response: Honestly, you'll never see even a trace of ghosting or blurring on this thing. At least I haven't, and I'm a twitch killer in shooters like Urban Terror and Nexuiz.
Cons: The Wobbly Stand of Doom: If you adjust the incline of the monitor just right (and tighten the bolts under the cable housing), you can reduce the wobble dramatically...but I'm still planning to remount this thing on a custom stand or wall-mount it.
Height Adjustment: None. Grab one or more of those dusty Cisco manuals you never read (I used an old cable box).
Other Thoughts: If you're a gamer, just get one. Otherwise, this monitor is probably not for you.

Bad display!!! Games only.
Pros: Gaming is flawless and clean. Energy use is very low for the size and 120hz. The 120hz makes gaming a huge upgrade over my old CRT.
Cons: There is bad backlight bleed like I have never seen. Viewsonic's tech desk was not helpful and slow to respond. Colors are displayed poorly at best. The image quality is so bad that I got eye strain after only 20 min of use. NO PICTURE ADJUSTMENTS!!!!!!!!!
Other Thoughts: Sold the monitor online after a month due to eye strain problems with it. Viewsonic has fallen on thier face on this model and it shows. If all you are doing is gaming, then this is a good monitor but there are better. No adjustments for the pic is just insulting and makes some games look washed out. Viewsonic is no longer a upper-end maker of screens and the TN tech is very poor.

Great for games but nothing else
Pros: Gaming is just amazing on this monitor!! No lag or shadows. The screen is clean and anti-reflective.
Cons: If used for wordprocessing, you will have eye problems. Text display is worse than poor. This is my third Viewsonic and it is honestly a downgrade from my old vx922. The 120hz is not noticable over the 60hz on any game or application. The monitor has ONLY brightness control!!!!! No moniotr out of the box is perfect for every application or room, thus there is ADJUSTMENTS that can be made, but not with this one.
Other Thoughts: The monitor is a marketing tool, no more. Performance is no better than a vx922 from four years ago. If you are looking for 3D, then wait for Samsung's new one. Save your money!! I returned this monitor after 25 days and bought the Viewsonic 2260.
Viewsonic should be embarrased!!!

Almost perfect
Pros: -Excellent gaming monitor- Better fps through higher refresh rates than any LCD I've ever used. The first suitable CRT replacement
Cons: No on screen display controls - Brightness control was dead on arrival - stand a little wobbly
Other Thoughts: I've been gaming and seeking out high fps since doom was a beta. The LCD revolution came and went and I stayed with my CRT which continuously outperformed the hundreds of LCDs next to me in LAN games. Finally a company figured it out "ITS ABOUT THE HZ STUPID!" thx for making me wait 7 years.

Pros: I finally found a crt replacement. If your a gamer running a crt because lcd have a little blur and input lag, well its gone.Im glad i could finally get off my crt.The native resolution on this things looks fantastic.I thought it would be kinda small but its not and my eyes are nice and relaxed. There is absolutly no delay when you see targets and they look like there moving slow.
Cons: My brightness controls came dead in the water but im not taking the time and money to ship it back for a replacement because this puppy looks way to good.Sound is kinda cheesy but i figured that much before i got it.
Other Thoughts: If your hard core crt and think you own now,huh get this and you will really own.Been waiting a long time for this and ive seen lots of lcd in action and tried a few myself and they just couldnt hang with a crt but in all honesty i think this is better than my viewsonic 21 inch crt.

This monitor ROCKS!!!
Pros: If you are a gamer looking to eliminate ghosting. This monitor is the answer for you. The picture during game play is alot easier on the eyes. I wouldn't purchase this monitor if you just browse the internet. You will not get the full effect from the 120hz.
Cons: When trying to mount the monitor the base screws were to short.
Other Thoughts: I was unable to run this monitor at 120hz with windows xp. I had to upgrade my box to Vista. My system, Win Vista64bit,intel 9550, 4gigram,Evga 1gig GTX285. Also make sure to read the requirements before purchasing. Especially the OS and Video Card. In my experience I was unable to run the monitor at 120hz using XP. On another note, I moved from a 26inch lcd down to this 22inch and would not even look back.
The only reason I added a review is because I read mix reviews about this from cnet and other forums. Like the reviewer before me said if you are on the fence about his monitor. Buy it you will not be disappointed.

Amazing.
Pros: Any gamer who has been waiting to switch to an LCD without fear of input lag/ghosting or standard refresh rates, this is a must.
Cons: No other OSD controls other than the control of brightness. The price is a little high for a 22 inch TN but you will feel it is worth every penny if you have been waiting years for an LCD that can display true 120hz.
Other Thoughts: If you're a gamer and still on the fence, just buy it, you'll thank me :)
