Rating + 3 Works great...when it works

Pros: The fact that it's USB makes it plug and play. Most of the time I could just plug it in and the mic and headphones would work. Sound quality was great.

Cons: I'd say about 10% of the time I used this I had problems. The headset recently failed on me. The headphones part works fine but the mic doesn't work. Tested it with 2 computers. Now all I get is static. Most of the times when I had problems the mic wasn't working but the headphones were. Another common problem was that the left headphone would cut out, most likely because of the short in the wire. The right headphone always worked. (side with the mic)

Other Thoughts: I will probably not be buying a USB headset in the future. I want something more reliable so I don't have to miss out on a gaming session with friends.

Pros: This headset is simple because of USB, sounds great in all ways music and gaming. Clip for the sounds adjustment is nice.

Cons: Its not that comfortable at first but my ears got use to it so its fine now. Easy to accidently press the mute button if your moving at times.

Other Thoughts: I had this since May 2007. Kinda heavy but this is my second headset. All in all its pretty good Buy it if you can handle some pain at first.

Pros: Solid built. Great sound even after years of extreme use. Good bass and treble. Will just about rock your ears off. Games, music it all sounds great in these bad boys. Mic sounds good on the listeners end, crisp and clean. Easy reach volume control and mute mic buttons on cord, with shirt clip for easy use while gaming. Ear padding is good to if you wear these for long periods.

Cons: Cord could be longer especialy if you want to connect it in back of your comp.

Other Thoughts: Owned for about 4 1/2years. No issues ever. Great buy even when they were 70.00USD when I got them.

Rating + 2 Works but...

Pros: Everything seems to work as expected. Sound is acceptable. Mic is clear.

Cons: VERY uncomfortable on my XL noggin. "Padding" on the ears is thin and ineffective. The earpieces themselves are small and don't fit over my entire ear. I can tolerate them for about an hour before the pain is unbearable. This is unacceptable for gaming applications. Mute/volume button seems cheaply made.

Other Thoughts: Disappointed with Logitech on these. I would say comfort is just as important as speaker/mic quality when selecting a headset.

Rating + 3 Works great until it breaks!

Pros: The sound quality on the headset is great, tested in OS X, Win XP and Vista, all of them provided great sound out of the box.

The mic is very clear and people in Battlefield 2 say that they can hear me very clearly

Cons: The sound started cutting out intermittently and then eventually failed. Even though I treated it well, the audio cable is very flimsy next to your ear and can break (within the rubber shielding)

The cord from the right ear to the volume control is *VERY* thin.

Pros: They work fine, hear everything great. al that you would expect.

Cons: They hurt shortly after, usually 20 minutes after wearing them, its either 1 ear or the other.

Other Thoughts: get something more comfortable.

Rating + 3 Can easily break within a year

Pros: Price not too high; Mic seemed to work pretty well and was adjustable; Headphones fairly comfortable (although that is very subjective)

Cons: Should last longer than a year; Sound quality not so good; Internal wiring no good

Other Thoughts: I've had these headphones for less than a year. Two days ago the sound on one side cut out. I popped them open to take a look at the wiring and soldering. The wires were very exposed to one another and easily could easily have created short circuits. The soldering was okay but not great. The speaker driver seemed simply to have failed. I think $40 headphones should have lasted more than a year - especially since I treated them well.

Rating + 2 Painful On The Ears And Very Fragile

Pros: Cheap, easy to use and good enough for average gamers.

Cons: I had problems with this product.

One: After an hour or two of gaming it started to cause my ears to hurt. I got an ear infection later that day.

Two: It's fragile, mine has already broke after adjusting it.

Three: Annoying mute button has nailed me a few times while gaming. It's annoying to be told that people can't hear you and when you look down and see the little blue LED blinking.

Other Thoughts: It may be cheap and looks pretty it's not very good. I don't suggest this unless you really want a headset.

Pros: Works great for me, no technical issues....plug it in and it's good to go. records good sound quality, doesn't need a sound card to work.

Cons: Not confortable after long use on ears, they could make better confy material...softer.

Other Thoughts: if you have a good sound card then get headphones you can plug into it because this is a usb headset and it will not work via your soundcard.

Rating + 4 Good but not without Flaws

Pros: Good quality sound, works well with Skype.

Cons: Annoying mute button, a little uncomfortable after long use.

Other Thoughts: This is a great headset to use for Skype. However, the headphones are a little uncomfortable once you use them for an hour or more. Also the mute button isn't designed well, it's hard to tell if mute is on or off.

Overall a good set of headphones.

Rating + 4 Awesome buy

Pros: Awesome sound, comfy (when you find the sweet spot of adjusting it around your head), Mic works well, usb is awesome

Cons: Theres a HUGE sensitive mute button on the cord (you can see it on the pictures)

Too many times have I been talking to myself in-game, because the mute happened to be activated. It's just too sensitive, I'd rather it be a switch

Other Thoughts: Your Mic should be on the right side of your head, I think a reason why alot of people said it was uncomfy, is because they were wearing it backwards.

Pros: Good sound
Work great

Cons: Mute button is way to easy to accidently activate. Buddies on Teamspeak have learned that I'm not ignoring them and ask if I'm muted again :-P

Other Thoughts: After extended use, I've discovered that I probably should have a style of headphone that can let my ears "breathe" a little better.

Rating + 4 Great buy

Pros: This would be my 4th Logitech Headset w/ Mic and so far, has been my favorite. Has a nice, snug fit, able to hear nicely while playing games (talking pin drop across the map).

Cons: Having issues with it and Vista....but that's probably more me/Vista then the actual mic and headset

Other Thoughts: If you're tired of using a headset that's pulling on your ears or if you do gaming for long periods of time (talking hours) then this is perfect.

Rating + 3 Ehhh

Pros: Crisp clear sound. I had a problem with the regular audio in/out mics on all of my computers so I got a USB one.

Cons: The mute button is just plain annoying. Someone needs to be fired for this idea. Other than that, I haven't had any problems.

Other Thoughts: Very comfortable on my skull. Doesn't crush my ears like some others claim. I always seem to come in clear on the other end so I guess if you take into consideration the fact that people only hear you half the time because of the mute button, I'll give it a 3.

Rating + 3 Great Sound, Poor Comfort

Pros: Really great sound, pretty good Mic, the in line volume/mute pod is nice. Also, the cabling after the volume/mute pod is much thinner, which reduces the "pull" from the cable, which is a nice feature as well.

Cons: Sooo uncomfortable. Pinches my ears, and are so tight it feels like someone put a vice on my head... Even after I tried pulling the headphones apart to loosen it up.

Other Thoughts: Would have been an awesome product, had they been comfortable. I know it's not just me, as my call center ordered aprox. 200 of these for our agents, and we had so many complaints we switched back to our original Plantronics headphones.

Rating + 5 Great for the price. IMO

Pros: I am a World of Warcraft player and I use ventrilo quite a bit. I have had several headsets and this is the best for the price that I have owned. It has great sound and the microphone is crystal clear. The microphone is also far enough away from your mouth that you can refresh your self with out moving it (that is a big plus for me = P ). I have had problems in the past with a large delay when I depressed my action key to when I could speak, I absolutely do not have that problem now. The reaction time is pretty quick. I have had no problems with durability…or anything for that matter. Great product.

Cons: The only thing I could come up with is if you do not like on the ear headphones you these might not be as comfortable to you as they are for me. The mute button is big, but if you put it on your shirt you should not have problems.

Other Thoughts: This really is a great product. I have been through approximately 6-7 sets of head sets. I really like the volume adjustment on this product also. It goes up and down in small increments but if you hold it down it will move fairly quick in that direction. You might not like the USB thing. I was skeptical at first but I have come to love it! This is a good pick, and a good value for the price.

Pros: Durable (very).
Good sound (does not lack Bass as some of those $30-$40 headsets you can get at Best Buy do).
Microphone is very crisp and produces great recordings.
USB is a plus/minus depending on how you look at it, but it works just fine.

Cons: The mute button on the microphone is huge and gets hit accidentally all the time. The blue light that lights up or blinks depending on the mute setting only worked for about 2 weeks (it initially didn't work at all, then all of the sudden it did and then not).
Very uncomfortable for longer periods of use (+30 minutes). They suck real bad the first week as your ears adjust to it so that you can use them for 3-4 hours at a time but you still can't wear these 24/7.

Other Thoughts: I had to buy a new headset after rolling very my old one's cord so many times that it frayed and snapped. I try to be careful, but I always managed to roll over this one as well, but the cord is so strong it hasn't been hurt at all. I've had it for a good 9 months now and haven't had any durability issues at all.
Get this headset if you have experienced trouble with breaking some more pricier ones in the past, but if you want something you want to use for hours at a time you're better of going with an icemat, steel series, or sennheiser.

Rating + 5 Great Buy

Pros: Great great sound quality. Amazing bass. Soft on-the-ear placement does not hurt. Inline volume control has very small increments so you can pick just the right level of volume. Long cord. Look very nice, does not leak a lot of sound like some headsets.

Cons: A little more than some headsets, but you get what you pay for. Does leak some sound to around you, but you have to be close to identify it. HUGE mute button.

Other Thoughts: Not over-the-ear, but some (like me) prefer on-the-ear to over-the-ear.

Pros: USB Audio is a breeze under XP SP2, literally plugged it in, put it on, loaded my gaming VoIP software of choice and was talking to buddies within a minute.

Cons: Yes, they get kinda uncomfortable after a three-hour binge of gaming, but in my experience, that's most headsets.

Other Thoughts: I don't know about the quality of the audio, but between the many games I've played with it, no one has commented on audio quality or that they couldn't understand me.

Pros: Superb sound and microphone quality for the price. Plug-and-play makes it ridiculously easy to install and use. No problems with Ventrilo, Skype, Voice IM, or any other application for that matter.

Cons: They press hard against your ears, which will cause them to get sore sooner or later and the headband digs a groove into the top of your skull - if was comfortable, this would be the best headset ever!

Other Thoughts: I don't find the big mute button as obnoxious as some, but it is a bit on the large-and-easy-to-accidentally-press side.

Rating + 1 Pretty poor for the price

Pros: It gets the job done

Cons: after only a few months with it, not doing really anything more than normal wear and tear, they have broken on me. the ear cushions are pretty much non-existent, so your ear get sore from wearing them fairly quickly. the mute button,is so big and easy to push, that you'll find yourself pushing it but mistake several times an hour. it's not as easy if you pull off the logitech sticker on it, but it's still pretty bad.

Rating + 2 Not Worth It

Pros: Good sound! After putting these on, I heard things in my games that I'd never heard before. Mic works just fine.

Cons: Please believe me and the the other reviewers here when we say these things HURT. I can't stand to wear them for more than a few minutes at a time, or my ears throb in pain.

Also, whoever designed the mute button on these things needs to be beaten . . . severely. The mute button is pressed so easily, sometimes I'm convinced it just comes on by itself. Very annoying to wonder why people won't respond to you and then look down and realize you must have breathed on the mute button ten minutes ago. Terrible design.

Other Thoughts: Works well, as do most Logitech products in my experience, but it just isn't worth the poor comfort and hassle in this case. Take my advice and save your money!

Pros: Good sound, I can tell where everybody is in counter-strike, I know I have been banned for "wall hacking" when I could hear people.

Cons: Squeezes your head a little- for me, definitely not as much as others has complained, my ears start hurting after about 5 hours of playing.

Other Thoughts: After the headset gets broken in(about 1 month) the squeezing will basically go away

Pros: Mic works well, sound quality is fine. Plugged it into my laptop and I was good to go.

Cons: These are by far the most uncomfortable headphones I've ever used. They should have just saved some money and not even bothered with the pathetic padding they put on the ear pieces.

Other Thoughts: What can I say? I saw the reviews that said they were uncomfortable and I ignored them. Now I own a pair of headphones that I hate to wear.

Pros: Great sound quality, great bass and bigger speakers than compared to my old design logitech headset. Microphone works well and stays out of the way while drinking and eating. Nicely built.

Cons: Terrible mute button, way to easy to accidentally press. So ANNOYING. Always have to check to see if I'm muted. The headset was very uncomfortable at first, now it's tolerable.

Other Thoughts: Overall the 250's look like they could be better than these 350's. Good list of pros with the same amount of cons make these just okay.

Rating + 3 Great for VoIP, so so for music/games

Pros: Great for Internet phones. Clear voice / mic works good.

Cons: This headset uses USB and doesn't use your soundcard at all. It sound worse when compared to an analog headset connected to my Audigy2 sound card. Lacks aural depth. As many people complained, the headset puts pressure on your head(not comfortable after awhile).

Other Thoughts: I bought this headset for VoIP internet phones. This headset is great for that purpose but I don't recommend this for games/music because it's not comfortable after 30 min and the sound quality is so so because it uses USB and doesn't use your better sound card.

Pros: Good sound. I like the volume control on it; Volume coming straight out of a macintosh is very very low, even when at the maximum level. Putting the volume control on the wire itself makes it very convenient.

Cons: Earphones are very very uncomfortable. So much to the point where I don't even want to use it for long periods of time. Anyone who does a moderate to significant amount of gaming needs headphones that are comfortable and wearable for longer periods of time. The headphones are also made of "high-quality" plastic. I always feel like I'm going to break them. For the $50 I paid, I'd expect a better-designed headset.

Cons: Hard ear-pads, Extremely PAINFUL, not worth the trouble.

Other Thoughts: I bought this headset looking for something to use while gaming. They worked as intended at first, but I ended up returning them because they were painful to use after 10 minutes. Pros: Nice sound quality, the noise reduction mic sounds very clear. These reproduce bass rather well for headphones.

Cons: After a few hours of wearing them, they start to hurt my ears. I usually don't notice that much until I take them off. This is the reason I'm only giving a 4.

Other Thoughts: I actually own the 3.5mm version of these headphones which are, other than the input, exactly the same. The price has gone up since I got them over a year ago.

Rating + 5 Insanely good quality USB headset.

Pros: Excellent USB compatibility and absurdly good sound quality for the price. Has never dropped out on me nor in any way acted up. The biggest benefit over my old headset is that being USB, I can have voice come through the headset while applications' sound still comes through the speakers if I choose, and also that I can still hear that sound (through either the headset or the speakers) while I am sending or receiving voice.

Cons: The end of the wire between the volume/mute control and the headset could be a little longer. As a somewhat taller person I can't have it clipped to my belt if I am sitting completely straight up or standing because it will tug on the headset.

Other Thoughts: I think that most of the negative reviews on here were made mistakenly confusing this product with another Logitech headset besides this one due to discrepancies in the mechanical layout of this product with that given in their descriptions. The only connector in this is a single USB 2.0 plug. Do not purchase this headset if you plan on using it for something that does not have USB ports.

Pros: Sound is very good for such a headset.

Cons: Paint wore off IMMEDIATLEY and right from the beginning I had to really push the impossible-to-adjust dial to get it to move. As a result, the stupid nub is worn down to almost nothing and changing the volume is an absolute chore.

Other Thoughts: Not as bad as it seems from my review... the dial situation apparently is restricted to my headset.

Pros: i guess cause its USB?

Cons: not durable at all, even for the gentle. i was taking the headset off, wraping up the cord, and the right piece broke, and it was not a part that can be just taped. i tried taping it, but then with it taped and LOOKING normal, it could not longer press against my head and put ANY pressure on my ear. resulting in not being able to hear it? DUH. So out of anger, i smashed it to little pieces. Big thumbs down for logitech *sigh*

Other Thoughts: i have a logitech mouse, keyboard, and speakers, and have never had problems with any of them, not untill i got this cheap headset.

Pros: For a USB headset sound quality is fairly good (I listen to a wide variety of music, tested these with Van Halen and Eddie's guitar sounds nice and clear and highs actually have some crunch to them, also tested with Nas and sound quality was also fairly good, bass seems a bit weak on some tracks but then seems perfect on other tracks. Headset is comfortable to wear(though not at first). Overall good quality construction, it doesn't feel like I"m going to break these things. The volume control/mute button is a nice touch. Mic feels sturdy and doesn't feel like it will snap off.

Cons: Mine came with the mute button broken out of the box. The volume control still works though. Mic is fairly good, though mic volume seems a little low even with mic volume all the way up, sometimes people have trouble understanding what I say at anything lower than normal talking voice.

Other Thoughts: I play alot of DOD:S and this headset gets the job done fairly well. Wish the mic was a little better on clarity. When I first got this headset they were comfortable for maybe 1 1/2hours but then would start to hurt due to being the type that rest on the ear. I stopped using them for about a month(due to a long move from Korea to United States) and using them now, I do not feel any discomfort even with extended periods of use(3 hours+) so I'm guessing they just need a good breakin period.

Pros: has great sound logitech is a great company and as long as you do not yell at the associates they will do what they can to do returns. big mute button and volume controls are a plus very easy to hit so say if you sneeze you can just hit the area its attached to and it will be muted if you do accedentally mute yourself people will probably notice or at least you will for various reasons

Cons: its a worldy object it WILL eventually break like everything else!!!!!!

Other Thoughts: fits my head and ears perfect

Rating + 4 USB can get annoying, light broke, otherwise good headset

Pros: Comfortable, USB, volume control.

Cons: USB- as it can get annoying having to restart stuff to hear it.

And, my light on my mute button is tempermental and sometimes goes out, so I can't tell if I'm muted.

Other Thoughts: Mute button can get pressed, but thats no biggie.

Pros: Clear digital USB sound and sound controls right on the cord.

Cons: It's painful to wear for more then an hour. It hurts even more with if you have glasses. The mute light is very easy to hit accidentally. The mute light doesn't work anymore and Logitech won't replace it with out a receipt. The tech support phone line isn't toll free either.

Other Thoughts: After about 6 months I finally broke the headphones in to my head. I can wear them without any significant ear pain for much longer now. Sometimes with none at all.

I have had worse, i have had better..

Cons: hurts your ears after a few hours, sound quality isn't great.
mute button gets very annoying, its pointless, just use a key bind for vent or TS. and again, sound quality isn't very good.

Other Thoughts: I had a plantronics 500DPI headset (which they no longer make) and it was 100 times better than this headset.
i wouldn't buy this again.

Pros: Its an alright headset for music

Cons: When i first got it, the volume was very low. After using it for mostly xfire, vent, TS, and CSS. It broke, when ever i would talk to my friends, it would make this weird buzzing sound, and it was very anying, and noone could here me. So evenually it broke into pices, i accednty missed my chair iand it broke.

Other Thoughts: It alright, for bout a couple mothes, but i would reccomand not getting these headsets, you betetr off with a cheaper and betetr headsets taht acculy work.

Pros: Stylish, convenient USB connection.

Cons: Very painful grip, mic too far away, large mute button too easy to press accidently, volume control buttons do not show the volume setting, automatically disables the the desktop speakers when connected and must be disconnected to enable the speakers.

Other Thoughts: A thoughtless design.

Pros: Very good microphone; people complain that I'm too loud on Ventrilo so I had to turn my outbound way down; my old headsets were all too quiet to hear. Sounds is pretty good in the earphones, although nothing spectacular. Overall pretty good.

Cons: They hurt if you wear them for more than an hour or two. I don't get much time to play games, but when I do get a chance I usually play for 3 or 4 hours at a time, and these can get very uncomfortable in that span of time.

Pros: Good headset, I had it 9 months before experiencing any issues with it (which was likely due to my use of it a lot of the day every day, rather than just a couple hours a day which is prob average use of this).

Mic works great, and the sound echo/background reducing works well.

Sound is very clear, especially useful for games, as it seems to actually give a more broad range on the general listening than usual some how.

Cons: Wire from the Volume Control/Mute piece is kinda thin, so gotta be careful of it so you don't yank it loose any way, beyond that no other cons.

Pros: Great sound for those lacking a sound card. Clear mic with using p2p voice comms like Ventrilo or Teamspeak. Decent price.

Cons: The headset doesn't come with an adapter for sound card adaptation. Not really a problem if you don't have a sound card, but the sound quality could be so much better if plugged into my 5.1 Turtle Beach Riviera.

Pros: Great sound quality and great microphone quality. Completely USB.

Cons: This microphone in this headset only last for about 3 months. After 4 months the headests start to flicker if you donot mute the microphone.

Other Thoughts: I have bought 2 in only a few months. For $xx dollars each that means over $xxx on headsets and that just does not cut it. If you are a gamer get a headset made for games, if you are into hearing music get quality headphones. These things are mostly good for bussines type stuff, not really good for gaming and not realy good for hearing music. There are better ones out there.

Pros: Sounds outstanding, great to wear. Microphone is outstandingly clear.

Cons: Dislike the easy movement knob in volume and mic mute and unmute. BREAKS AFTER 6 MONTHS TO A YEAR, RIGHT SIDE EAR GOES OUT AND FLICKERS IF YOU MESS WITH THE CORD.

Other Thoughts: Will NEVER purchase this kind of thing from Logitech again! They need "BETTER" cord assemblys because they always break.

Pros: The sound is OK. The design is cool. USB is easy to plug and play. Bought it from Newegg which equals good price and fast shipping.

Cons: Falling apart. It hurts like crazy the first week. My ears got bright red. The mute button is WAY too easy to press. It is a rather large button the on volume control. Keep browsing Newegg. As I type this im listening to music and i have to keep fiddling with the wires as to hear it in both ears.(Which eventually becomes a problem with all headsets.)

Other Thoughts: Would never buy a headset from logitech again, only their mice are good. If you want cheaper, better headsets, look elsewhere on Newegg.

Pros: Works in Windows XP, Mac OS X, and Ubuntu Linux 6.06 out of the box! Great sound quality, microphone is sensitive.

Cons: Can be uncomfortable. My first pair (which ended up failing after about 4 months of on and off use) was painful on the ears after an hour, but the RMA pair feels great.

Other Thoughts: The pair that felt good had a 120 mins of skypeout coupon inside. Reports elsewhere coincide with some being comfy and some not.

Rating + 2 Be Warned - Pain

Pros: The sound is amazing for the price. Good full sound range. The cord length is good for rear USB ports. The mic has decent sound. Extremely easy to use, plug and play!

Cons: Painful to wear. If you game for long periods like me, 4-8 hours at a time, your ears will hurt... and by hurt, I mean intese throbbing pain. It took me two months for my ears to get used to the poor design. Even though the pain is now gone, they are still extremely uncomfortable. I'll be purchasing something more comfortable.

Other Thoughts: I tripped over the cord once and the mic no longer works.

Rating + 4 Good headset for the price

Pros: Sound is great; basses come in very well for me, though I am not an audiophile like some. It has a nice range of low to high in my opinion though. There is no exact "Right ear, Left ear" for them either, so they can be worn with the mic on the right side of your face, or left. And the mic is adjustable (it can be moved up so it won't be in the way for when you're eating for example). And it's a USB connected headset so that's a nice plus. These with Creative's X-Fi XtrememMusic sound card is great. Also, the included band volume control unit is great; I usually clip it on my pants or belt, and that helps control the wires from going AWOL.

Cons: The headset can and usually will hurt your ears after extended use. It pinches the upper portion of your ears, so that area is sore. I wear these headsets sometimes for up to 3-5+ hours, usually listening to music, movies, and games. And I hate to interrupt when I have to remove the headset to give my ears a break. This is the biggest problem of the headset; even loosened, it still pinches my ear, and if too lose, it's not wearable. The microphone is not length adjustable, but that shouldn't really be a problem as it does come down to a suitable length in my opinion for all wearers. The volume control clip is a bit heavy; when it's not clipped on, the wires are pulled down, and sometimes at an angle for me. Not a big problem, just a minor nuisance.

Other Thoughts: The greatest downfall for this wonderful headset is the pinching of the ears. If Logitech widended the the earpads, so that it covers the ears, that could possibly alleviate the problem. Otherwise, these headsets are great, especially if you're a gamer like me. I love playing with these on for Call of Duty 1, and the mic comes through clear as I use ventrillo and teamspeak to chat with fellow gamers.

Pros: They are not very uncomfortable (in my opinion) as some reviewers say they are. The microphone is pretty clear, and the sound from the headphones themselves it quite good. I also like the volume control, it's not difficult to accidentally hit and mess up what you had it set on, but it's not difficult to use.

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: I don't have the USB version of this headset, but it's the same headset otherwise.

Pros: If you don't have a good sound card then the usb is a good advantage. Im really happy with sound and mic. The cord is thicker than any other longitech mic ive had and should stand up to some rolling over with my chair.

Cons: The only con is the fit. It's tight but you kinda have to ajust to any new headset.

Other Thoughts: Didn't buy at newegg since waiting for shipping would have killed me, but it cost about $xx dollars more off the shelf.

Pros: Very nice sound, very clear mic. Comfortable on my head, and the mic stays out of my line of sight (while looking at the computer screen.)

Cons: None at all.

Other Thoughts: A review mentioned that the headphones were not worth it because it only works via USB. Well why didn't you look at the pictures or the specs? Obvioulsy bad buying by you, which should show how respectable your other comments are. Trying playing counter strike and flipping the headphones on backwards, there is obviously a difference, there for it is not mono.

Pros: it does have a good mic, other than that....

Cons: first off, this headset is terribly uncomfortable. you might be able to use it for short skype calls, but definately not for lan gaming. secondly, this headset is essentially mono, there is no way to tell left from right!!! another annoying feature is the fact that it is usb, so if you have a good soundcard, your selling yourself short.

Other Thoughts: i will agree with a previous poster in saying that this headset could be good for a laptop if you are: 1. not gaming, 2. not using for long periods of time, 3. have onboard sound.

Pros: Fairly comfortable (slightly better than the Premium 300 that I originaly purchased). Good quality sound (when they work). That's about it though.

Cons: Shotty Wiring. Not worth the hassle.

Other Thoughts: The left ear piece died after just under 2 years on my 300 (that was fine by me I got my use out of them). It was just in time for me to use the warranty to get a replacement. I thought I was getting an upgrade when I recieved the 350's. I was wrong. The first 350 the left ear piece was dead after about a week. Got that replaced with another 350. It's been a little over a week and I have just recently noticed that the new one is having problems when I move arround. The cause in both cases is that the wiring from the control to the headphones is of really poor quality and durability. The fact that they didn't want me to return the deffective 350 might be an indication of the value (and possibbly quality) of the 350. I am pleased with all other logitech products that I own/have owned including: 2 wireless keyboard/mouse, a wireless gamepad and the premium 300 (which the no longer make).

Rating + 2 Not Worth It

Pros: The microphones on this headset is very good. I've gotten comments about how nice it sounds and the sound itself is well.

Cons: Where to begin.. I've had 2 of these headsets the first just had the typical problem, the wiring. The wires will go out on these headsets if you drop them once it'll happen over time. Both of my headsets have lost sound in either one side or both sides. Also, the dial to control the volume often got stuck one of mine. This was a very agitating problem. I would highly recommend getting any other headset. They have great mouses and keyboards, but awful headsets.

Other Thoughts: Newegg delivered quickly as always. Best site/store around!

Rating + 3 Good for the price

Pros: Cheap, USB, decent sound quality, decent mic capability.

Cons: a bit uncomfortable if you wear them for too long, especially for me because I wear glasses. Getting my ear pushed into that piece of my glasses really sucks after about 10 minutes.

Other Thoughts: I bought this for simple Ventrilo/Teamspeak/Skype use. I don't really like using headphones while playing games so I tend to wrap them around my neck, especially due to the discomfort. For casually listening to music the sound quality is good. It's the first pair of headphones that have actually vibrated my ears because of bass. No distortion whatsoever. Crisp and clear sound.

Overall they're not bad, but that level of discomfort is what keeps me from giving it 4 stars. I tend not to give 5 star reviews because they usually come from overly excited people. I don't find too many of them useful.

The mic is pretty good, especially at the price. It does a good job at keeping a lot background noise out of the conversation.

Rating + 5 My favorite

Pros: This is wonderful, has a great sound, and i still have my sound card open for my brothers headphones when i want him to listen to something. These are great at blocking out external sound, or at least muffling it also!

Cons: They do however hurt your ears after a bit from the pressure, but its nothing that will make you cry. Just slip them off for about 5 minutes and put them back on. Also the little light to let you know when you have muted the mic like burned out just a week after getting it, i beleive that was just on this headset tho, as ive seen others in use for over 2 months that still work great.

Other Thoughts: Great headset, all of these people complaining about them breaking instantly, must have had their kids playing hockey with it while they werent around. Very durable and work just fine. Although, they do not work on linux, i havent found anything that would let that happen, so i kinda cant use it on any other comp, but hey, for windows its wonderful!

Pros: I HAVE THE JACK version NOT the USB.

Great sound, nice bass, the noise cancelling depends on ur sound card, if u have a good one the noise canceling will really be noise canceling. The mic is good the bass is good overall good but...

Cons: That was until the cord...well I don't know how to explain it it just sounds like if u were underwater and I know its the cord cause if I move it a little the sound would come back.

Other Thoughts: Good over all I would like too see reinforced type of cables like the one in the G% logitech mouse or wireless edition sets.

Pros: - Very Comforable
- Good, Crisp Mic and Sound
- Good for people with old sound cards or onboard sound
- Volume botton right on the cable

Cons: - Mic has problems getting detected in programs like teamspeak/vent
- Both the Sets I got stopped working after a few months
- Cant plug it into your sound card or onboard audio to make sound better since it uses its own chip
- Takes up an extra USB slot (like everything these days)

Other Thoughts: I purchased two of these brand new during the coarse of a year and a few months, the first set worked great for about 8 months and thats under serious stress because I am a serious gamer often playing 6+ hours a day and some of my family listen to music with the music turned all the way up on the pc for hours while playing games, anyhow the first set stopped getting sound out of the right ear around 8 months after I purchased them and the rest of the headset died completely 3 days after so I decided to purchase another set brand new agian because I really liked how these headsets felt and performed around my head but the second set I purchased died to the same cause after only 3 months of use so now I use some other logitech headsets with 3.5mm inputs that they sell on newegg too that you can hook up to your sound card and they seem to be working fine so far 1 month into useing them.

Pros: Plug and play functional with xp. Good sound quality. Robust construction survives a lot of abuse.

Cons: The mute button/volume control is awkward and very accident prone.

As the other review suggest, this is a painful headset to wear.

Other Thoughts: Expanded pros: I use my headset daily (sometimes for many hours) and I've gone through dozens in the last few years, this is the only one that has survived almost a year.

Expanded Cons: There is no way to tell if it is in the 'mute' state or not (you basically have to yell 'Can you hear me?' to your friends repeatedly) and its the largest button on the control, so it's VERY easy to accidentally hit.

I've had mine for almost a year (I really do dislike it, I've simply been too lazy to replace it) and by this time it's started to bend to my head's shape. It took some forceful bending regularly on my part, but I can go for several horus now before needing a break.

Overall, this headset is a mistake.

Cons: If you wear glasses...DO NOT GET THIS HEADSET it will make your ears hurt so bad, the thing is too unconfortable, I had this product for about 3 months of use and just recently droped it for the first time and it was ok the next day I did the same thing(about a 2 and a half foot drop) and the headset stoped playing 3d surround, it wouldnt play anything right....im very mad to say the least, the Plantronics I had before this lasted alot longer and actually was comfortable

Pros: Looks nice, and the mic works very well. The inline volume control is nice and the cords are very long.

Cons: This thing hurts your ears a LOT during the first couple days to a week of wearing. After that first week, you don't really feel it though. Also, as others have said, the mute button switches to mute quite often for no reason, which is very annoying.

Other Thoughts: So, frankly, I'd just go with the cheep fifteen dollar logitech behind-the-head gaming headset. Its more comfortable and cheeper.

Pros: The sound quality was good, not the greatest but decent. Not like you're really going to hear the difference, unless you compare it to a $200-300 high end stereo headphones.

Cons: Like all the other reviews, the headband does become quite uncomfortable after a certain period of time. The head strap is a little too tight causing the ear pads to apply too much pressure against the ears. So afte a few minutes or hours of playing, you have to take them off to relief the soreness on your ears.

Other Thoughts: For those who want a headset that's nice to the ears and has great sound. I strongly recommend the Plantronics usb GamePro 1. It feels & sounds way much better than these.

Cons: The mute button in the middle is so big and easy to push that it is constantly getting muted without me knowing. (very annoying). This headset also hurt really bad for about a week, but now its not bad unless wearing it for more than 4+ hours.

Other Thoughts: Not worth the money at all.. go ahead and save a little me and get icemats or sennheisers.

Rating + 2 it WAS good...

Pros: If you do not have a great sound card, the USB feature allows you to have higher quality sound. Its a huge step up from Onboard sound. The inline volume and mute feature are very helpful. Sound quality from mic is execellent.

Cons: The actually headset is very uncomfortable and crushes your ears after 2-3 hours of gaming. Also, after a month, the microphone broke . The only thing that came out of the microphone was static. This is after a month of casual gaming...

Other Thoughts: I gave Logitech another chance and got the USB 250 headset at RxxxoSxxxk... that one was better, but it had no inline volume/mute feature and the mic broke after 6 months. Be warned.

Rating + 1 Not worth it

Pros: Sound quality is beyond words for its price. Microphone is crisp. Can have everything as full sound, it'll make your ears tickle. I can heard it from my bedroom, to my living room. Sound better than my speakers with onboard sound.

Cons: Lost sound after 3 short months. Whined to Logitech, got a new pair, microphone & sound went out in 2 months. The big blue button on the cord feels unstratigically placed, I find myself accidentally getting muted a lot.

Other Thoughts: Seeing as how I didn't get a receipt on the pair they sent me through mail, I wonder if they will give me a third pair. Oh, and about it bothering my ears, after 2 or 3 days, it was no longer an issue, it felt natural. I wish I could have heard them on a pricey sound card, but the connection is USB, so it isn't happening.

Rating + 4 pretty good

Pros: good headset, built stroung.. thick cables good bass.. clear mic, and windows xp picked it up with no problem..

Cons: well it feels like its compressing your head.. not a harmfull feeling but a most uncomfortable one..the ruber that it is made of makes your ear sweat over an hour or so.. some of the high notes that it produces isint as clear as it could be.

Other Thoughts: overall its a great headset for gameing because you cant hear anything around you with it on.. but for longer then 3+ hours it can get discomfortable..

AS ALLWAYS NEWEGG !!!!

Rating + 1 Oh my my

Pros: USB, not much more. Good price, I payed considerably more.

Cons: Broke within 1 month. Were blown on the right side after a few days. cant handle much bass at all, delicate. Mic went after 2 weeks. Just normal use and they broke. Logitech customer service is horrible.

Logitech Customer service is horrible.

Other Thoughts: I just pulled out a 6-7 year old pair of sony walkman headphones to use, they honestly sound better all around, the highs and the lows. Ive owned high end home component stereo systems and nice phones in the past. Take a pass on these.
