Great Printer
Pros: Very portable, durable and produces excellent 4x6 prints. I use as portable office printer as well as photo printer. Has neat "Profile" feature that simplifies setting up for snapshots, then letter, then general printing. Very handy.
Best for printing snapshots on the fly and having a printer with you on business trips or in a mobile office setting. IR & USB connections are rock solid and battery life is sufficient for a couple days normal usage w/o lugging the "brick" to plug in. Great printer for what it is designed to do.
Cons: Need to use often or ink dry out and ruins printhead. Really need to use it when in dry climate like CO. Doesn't like generic ink cartridges. Fairly expensive ink cartridges, but then they all are......
Other Thoughts: Cannon tech support is the best I have ever encountered. Easy to reach, very easy to work with. Worth a few extra bucks to have that kind of backup. I'm a convert from HP as a standard.

Great Travel Printer
Pros: Small, light (even with the optional battery), terrific photo prints up to 8.5X11
Cons: Ink cartridges are small and expensive.
Other Thoughts: Bought the IP90 for traveling and intended to use it just to print emails, maps/directions and boarding passes (which it does very well). Tried photos just for the heck of it and was amazed. It compares favorably in speed and quality with my bigger desktop ink jets on prints up to 8.5X11". And it fits, cables, battery and all, in the laptop bag with room to spare. Don't leave home without it.

one of my favorite purchases
Pros: Very compact and portable. Great quality. Reasonable speed. Nothing disappointing so far.
Cons: Expensive.....and, as with most inkjet printers today, the cost of cartiridges is outrageous.
Other Thoughts: I tavel among several job sites and this printer is very small, easily assembled, and meets all my needs. Not the solution for major print jobs, but perfect for those 5-10 page needs. I throw it in my bag with my laptop and can set up my office on the fly. I have owned many printers over the years and have now largely migrated to Canon because of the quality of the equipment and the print results. I believe this will last me for several years.

Great little printer
Pros: Ink cart. life is somewjhat short. Could be a little thiner so it would fit the breifcase easier.
Cons: Great for portability and quality of print. I am an insurance agent and it does a nice job at a clients kitchen table.
Other Thoughts: I wish New Egg would carry the battery on thier web sight instead of having to go to Canon for the purchase.

Canon Pixma IP90
Pros: Small, accurate, dependable. Nice to travel with.
Cons: No Bluetooth. Like all printers, you need a cable.
Other Thoughts: This is a nice printer for travel. It performs very well for nearly all your printing needs while away from the office. I traveled to Hawaii from PA for pleasure and business for 2 weeks and if you need a printer to conduct business and want to have a great mobile office, this is a perfect edition. I also purchased a Belkin travel kit of retractable USB and Ethernet cables with various tips to adapt to any device (Staples). I used this kit to connect printer and camera while away. Perfect, not one issue, never changed ink, fabulous.

total piece of garbage
Pros: Small size.
Cons: Doesn't come with anyway of connecting to your printer... no USB cord or bluetooth or anything. I had to purchase the $xx bluetooth unit just to be able to use the printer. Stop functioning after about a week.
Other Thoughts: This thing is straight garbage.

Canon Pixma IP90
Pros: Faster and quieter than BCJ85. Excellent black text and color works well. Easy to set up and attach to my laptopm via USB cable. Design is silver & black vs BCJ 85. About same size. I use while at my vacation home (weeks at a time)instead of my regular laser printer and find it quite a good replacement.
Cons: Black ink tank is smaller than the BCI 10 tank used on the earlier models. Comes 2 in a pack for about $11.00 which is more expensive than BCI 10 cartridge. Unlike the BCJ 85 you cannot restrict the printer to black only--but, frankly as long as the only cartridge is the BCI 15 (it does not come in larger size) I can live with it.

Nice portbale printer
Pros: Lots of nice features on this little gem. Works with Blue Tooth and PictBridge, IR ports, Windows or Mac compatible.
Cons: Designed more for laptops than home units, not a 'workhorse' printer.
Other Thoughts: I own a Suttle SFF, and purchased my peripherals with portablity in mind. This will suit my needs nicely. I really only print occasional documents at home, but I do a fair amount of photography (35mm) and wanted something that could produce a decent photo. For the money, I could have gotten a better quality photo printer, but I preferred something fairly small that still delivered quality. This printer is a great solution for me. There is also a nice storage base (sold seperately) available that can further increase your workspace while leaving the printer handy for use. Produces high quality documnets, and good quality photos. The perfect balance between size and perforance.

PIXMA IP90
Comments: About 10 months ago, I was stuck for ten weeks in a different town - using only my laptop.
I needed a printer - and decided that the size of this would make it useful to take on summertime trips in our camper as well.
I've been a fan of Canon printers and digital cameras for years. This machine amazed me with its performance. While maybe not quite up to par with my I960 at home - it's pretty darn close. Printed document and photos are great!
I've had absolutely no problems with the jets clogging or anything. Love it!
