Are you kidding me?!
Pros: How can anyone complain about a laser printer that copies on two sides, faxes, scans and has a 35-page doc feeder for about $125? I don't know about printing from a Blackberry, but for the 99.99% of us who just want a printer from our computer, this machine, and its progeny/ancestors are an unbeatable value. Seeing as the cartridges are about $70, I tend to just replace my whole printer (or add a new one) every 5000 pages or so, and have never had a problem. I am not sure why everyone in the US doesn't have this machine. It's a gem (and no, I don't work for Canon).
Cons: I would like to have wireless access, but am upgrading now to the MF4370dn, which I can plug into my network.
Other Thoughts: You aren't still using inkjet, are you?

Good value
Pros: Good solid all-in-one. Prints crisp. Few paper jams.
Nice scanning software. Easy to create PDFs with no hassle.
Cons: Paper holder is fragile. Pin on the pivot snapped too easily. Toner is low now and not sure if it hit the1k prints the manual says the starter toner should run.
Haven't been able to share it to a mac while connected to Windows Vista box. Not sure if its this printer of Vista printer sharing.

Penny Wise But Pound Foolish
Pros: Cheap, but caveat emptor.
Cons: Irreconcilable USB conflict with other USB devices. Specifically, the printer so dominates the USB controller that my BlackBerry could not connect while the printer was also connected. Canon tech support was as rude as they were unhelpful.
Other Thoughts: I got tempted away from a better reviewed model by the sale price, disregarding the other negative reviews about the USB connection. I guess $30 for return shipping is a relatively cheap lesson. Newegg was pleasant to deal with regarding the return

Get something that works
Pros: Looks nice.
Cons: This printer is simply incompatible with many USB controllers (read Intel). Not worth the aggravation, it is now sitting in an unused office. There is no fix and I'll never get those hours back.

Awesome Printer
Pros: I love this printer. Never has given me any trouble. Bought 3 when the price was ridiculously low with free shipping. Using one at work, one at home, and the 3rd... well I consider it a $20.00 back up when considering I will use the 3rd's toner for my home unit when it runs out. Canon has THE BEST customer support for printers. ...THE BEST.
Cons: Big foot print.
Other Thoughts: I now buy only canon printers after discovering that HP doesn't manufacturer printers... they just put their badge on units Canon makes for them. Why pay a middle man? Canon toner cartridges are much more economical than HP units. It is easy to get someone on the phone when dealing with canon support.

Great for Home Office
Pros: Love this printer for home office use. Nice clean black print. Like that you can choose to copy on the glass or feed it through. Also has fax capabilities but I don't use it. Great price, easy set up, no problems whatsoever.
Cons: Can't think of a thing and I've used it daily for over one month. Starter cartridge is still going strong.

Great printer
Pros: - Auto-duplex. Works great
- Fast warm-up. I only wait about 5 seconds from sleep mode for the first page to print out.
- Easy install; installed on Windows 7 easily with downloaded drivers from website (or you can use their CD), plugged in and worked 100%.
- Single unit drum/cartridge. No more messing with both a toner and drum unit.
- Copy/scan has great quality. Full printing features like auto-collate, sort, resize, etc.
- Compact. Very small for such a talented machine.
Cons: - Auto-duplex was malfunctioning at first, printing the flip side crooked. Somehow it fixed itself after a few uses.
- No USB cable. Just because most manufacturers don't include the cable doesn't mean it should be standard.
Other Thoughts: Incredibly good price for such a good printer.

Good for the money
Pros: Small size, easy to use, software easy to use
Cons: paper handling could be better but prints checks / envelopes via manual feed with no problem
Other Thoughts: Was pleased overall with printer for price. It was small, light and easy to setup. Scanning to hard drive or to PDF or other file types was easy. Scanned in 3 old albums of pictures with no issues. It has been well worth the money. Hoping canon's per price print is less than HP.

Not compatible with all computers.
Pros: Purchased because of great reviews on this printer.
Cons: After spending hours on the phone with Canon (45 minutes) and with Dell Techincal Support (4 hours), loading and reloading drivers PLUS reinstalling Windows XP at Dell's suggestion, an error message (USB Device Not Recognized) kept coming back. My 2003 Dell 4600C was determined by Dell to be NOT compatible with this printer.
Other Thoughts: Wish there was a way for Canon to know which computers their printer is not compatible with.

Dead after a week.
Pros: Good deal. ~$100 for a Canon laser jet is hard to come by. I've owned an earlier model in the past and it's still going strong with great quality.
-Comes with toner. -Worked with my mac (Snow Leopard).
Cons: Total lifespan of this printer: 1 copy, 1 printout via my mac (yes, it works with Snow Leopard.) Spoke with Canon tech support and they said they'd only replace with a refurbished model if I go the direct route. Let's see what happens with Newegg.
-No USB cable included. -Need to go through RMA hassle.
Other Thoughts: Newegg sent me a shipping label to print out for my broken printer. How ironic...

Excellent product!
Pros: I am really happy with this MF printer. Printing and copying quality is simply excellent. I can see why people complain about the bundled software but once you take time to understand how it works, there is no problem. It scans, it prints, it faxes, it copies without a hitch. I love the OCR function. Canon was nice enough to provide full version of Omnipage that converts my documents into text very accurately.
Cons: I am not going to mention things such as flimsy paper tray etc because you can not expect a $109 personal printer to be on par with your $1000 business copier.

Bigger pain with Mac
Pros: -Laser -Fast -Duplex -One button copy
Cons: Both the windows and mac software are problematic. I couldn't get it to scan from the device from neither of them. The mac driver is not compatible with Snow Leopard. MF4350d looks great on paper, but the software fails to deliver the promise. I couldn't get it to print duplex from network. The default printing profile is single sided, and you have to use it when printing from network. I tried both Mac and Windows as the host, neither worked. I tried proxy print server software in Windows as well.
Other Thoughts: Even though I gave a break to windows (due to Ubuntu), and recently moved to mac, I would consider myself a savvy and literate computer user (I do RT*M). After two months of struggle, I gave up the idea of using this as duplex network printer. Currently it is hooked to a USB hub and gets connected to the macbook when I am home. Quite a downer, since it did not make printing duplex any easier than manual duplex for other computers in the network.

Toner is expensive
Pros: Good price for the features; Canon quality.
Cons: I'm not going to bother with an in-depth review; I just want to note that third-party prices for replacement toner cartridges for this printer are about double those for a comparable HP printer.

A bargain even at much higher prices
Pros: We've owned one of these (actually a predecessor unity that uses the same engine and looks and runs the same) for about two years now and have had no problems whatsoever with it. Toner is available freely by third party vendors in a new, not rebuilt format. Plus, we've been refilling ours once from very cheap toner refills bought from the most famous online auction site which cannot be named here. Seems to have no effect on image quality. We print perhaps 20-50 copies a day. We liked ours so much so, when we saw one recently similar to ours like this one, we bought it as a backup as we've had such good luck with this one that the hundred dollar price tag seemed a pittance compared to the quality you get here. If ours ever goes out, we have an unopened box unit ready to take its place.
Cons: Wish it would hold a full ream of paper and wish the cover over the unused paper supply was more sturdy. The buttons on the front can get confusing sometimes. The only thing we can't comment on is the fact as we don't use that. And the scanner is fine for printed documents but is not up to the quality needed for highly detailed scans of small objects, such as buttons or coins or similar items you might sell at your own website or an auction type that need extremely high detail. For that kind of detail, get a dedicated scanner. But these are nitpicking. For printing and scanning and most likely for scanning (which we haven't used) this unit compares to units that a few years ago used to sell upwards of a thousand dollars and only printed or only copied.
Other Thoughts: For printing and copying purposes, you'll be hard pressed to find anything better at anywhere near the price. And the toner is cheap even in the Canon Brand, but for a real bargain, look for a newly manufactured off brand toner cartridges. I think we pay about $25.00 for a new toner cartridge that lasts for quite some time and then we refill it once for about $6.00 from a refill bottle from that auction site which cannot be named here (which can get messy but if you're trying to save money, the quality of prints and copies doesn't suffer a bit.) At this price, I'm tempted to get a third unit.

Excellent printer
Pros: Very easy setup. Works fine with Windows 7 and XP. Excellent print quality. Bought as Shell Shocker item - great price, free shipping.
Cons: Only attempt to print both sides of multipage document resulted in some pages with print at slight angle.
Other Thoughts: Still working on 100 page starter cartridge so unsure how long it will last Have not set up fax as yet - little use in my case. Another great deal at Newegg.

Not good
Pros: Has a great fax capability that doesn't require a special ring tone for receiving.
High printing capacity.
Cons: Black and white print only. 400 DPI Scan maximum Auto Doc Feeder scanning is almost useless as the scan quality is usually unreadable.
Other Thoughts: Would have been better if they used the MP530 software as it's easier to use and more versatile.

Canon 4350d
Pros: Look nice, good price.
Cons: It may work well; I'll never know. I'm an average computer user and I'll say this machine is anti-plug'n'play. It's as if they've designed it to prevent ease of use. Sorry I bought the thing!

Not Mac Compatible
Pros: prints quickly,
Cons: not mac compatible for scanning; often freezes when trying to print unless the word or pdf file was recently saved, "double-sided" printing means that it prints one side then takes the page back in to print the other side so no time is saved, customer service lacks knowledge of Macs
Other Thoughts: I wasted a lot of time on this product, having been duped into believing it is Mac compatible. After more than 7 hours of customer service time I still can't scan. The image bleeds down the page. Also, it is necessary to frame each image page which could be time consuming for multiple page scans. The device often does not show up on image capture and Preview, the 2 Mac applications used to scan. Finally, you really have to use a USB. Overall, a terrible experience for me.

Canon MF4350d
Pros: The Canon is a easy to use and fast printer, the quality is great when printing. The copying quality is OK but the scanner works great in Photoshop. I have had a lot of Canon SLR cameras. My first camera was a point and shoot 3.5 mega pixel camera a bout nine or ten years ago and I have been in there camp for a while there customer service is great, I haven't had to call them much but they where great at addressing my problems. But when it comes to this printer its easy to use the toner cartage was installed in seconds there replacement was quite inexpensive compared to other laser printers I haven't had one paper jam and I am on my second toner cartage I have printed over 2000 prints my last HP had paper jams all the time and was a pain to change toner and the cost was quite high that was one of the reasons I changed over to Canon. But the Canon is the best all in ones I have my only regret was for 50 bucks more I could have had a network attached printer but I don't print very much.
Cons: I just have one small and hardly worth b***hing about I wish the paper tray would close but it is barley worth bringing it up.

This MFP rocks!
Pros: This is one sweet box. It's fairly easy to set up, printing is crisp and clear, the scanner, copier, and FAX all work mostly as advertised. (I waited to post this review until I confirmed that the FAX worked -- one company I sent to claimed they didn't receive my FAX.) As a printer, copier, and FAX machine, it works almost exactly like its standalone equivalents (including the ADF); I've only used the scanner just enough to verify that it works. And yes, it's connected to a Mac.
Cons: The keypad is a little cumbersome for setup, but that's to be expected.
