Still Runs Great
Pros: Love It. Brought 2 years ago and has been working prefect. Great FPS with good daylight lighting is provided.
Cons: Drops FPS with low lighting.
Other Thoughts: Works prefect with daylight or with light in front of subject.

Your average cheap webcam
Pros: Camera does function. Still button on top of camera works in Windows.
Microphone was not tested.
Cons: Included Windows software is quite old, with some utilities dated 1995-era.
Windows driver digital zoom is campy and likes to crash.
Linux support not provided by manufacturer; reverse-engineered drivers (gspcav1, spca5xx) work but are full of firmware and magic numbers thanks to lack of manufacturer support.
No focus ring--it's just for looks.
Other Thoughts: You're better off buying something else.

garbage
Pros: easy setup, relativly cheap
Cons: where to start... 1, the video quality is abysmal. 2, its extremely difficult to focus (though this is a result of the quality). 3, extremely poor construction (cheap plastic held together with a single screw). Not to mention, with the resolution at 640x480, you'll be lucky to get 5 fps...
Other Thoughts: I actually bought mine on e Bay for 7 bucks, and ironically enough, saw this as I was browsing newegg for a replacement.

Get what you pay for
Pros: Cheap
Cons: I could never make the microphone work to work..It was so cheap it just wasnt worth the hassle of bothering with it. Unless you are on the cheap go for a better name and product

Pros: Works great for the applications we intended it for. Looking for a basic webcam you can't beat the price.
Cons: The tilt on this camera is a little loose and could not tighten enough to work perfectly. Does not interfere with our uses.

Decent
Pros: Good quality, Nice features, Included mic.
Cons: Chord is far to short, maybe a little more than a foot and a half. Not nearly long enough for an under the table pc, or other side of the table.
Other Thoughts: This cam is very nice, I was impressed with the level of customization for the price. Overall quality is decent, even at night it had good reception. Does its job. The chord is short but thats just something you need to deal with.

Pros: Qulity is ok, build in microphone.
Cons: No attachment to a flat monitor/Laptop. Cable is to short, if your case is under the table it will not reach it.
Other Thoughts: Good for money. Better then I expected.

Busted!
Pros: It works, and has a microphone built in.
Cons: It doesn't have the best resolution, it looks just like 320x240 when it is set as 640x480 but a little bigger.
Other Thoughts: I used it to catch my neighbor breaking into my house, and submited it as evidence to get him put in jail! :D

Cheap, Reliable
Pros: Simple, reliable, low cost. Excellent image quality at 320x240 in good light. Quite decent lens considering the price of this unit.
Cons: Not great in low light -- you may wish to go with a much higher end camera if indoor lighting is less than bright. The 640x480 mode is very grainy due to bayer filter on CMOS sensor.
Other Thoughts: This devices uses the Z-Star/ViCam chip set; the usb ID is 0x0ac8:305b and the sensor is alledgedly the TAS5130c. Linux support is through gspca or spca5xx drivers -- my camera, for some reason, didn't work with the default TAS1530c sensor and required some minor hacking (USB snoop file) in order to get working. If you void your warantee you'll find a nice simple square PCB and standard 12mm lens mount inside, perfect for camera hacking or using in other projects.

Pros: Quick to setup under windows xp, immediately recognized by skype, adequate image quality for skype
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: I connected the webcam to the usb port, and windows popped up a 'new hardware' dialog that I ignored. Instead I put the mini CD into the drive and ran the installation procedure, rebooted, and on reboot, skype detected it immediately and put up a test window. I was able to use it with skype immediately.

Works Great in Ubuntu Dapper
Pros: This webcam works flawlessly in Ubuntu Dapper... Can use it in gimp, and instant message using the gyach yahoo compatible messenger. For the price I am very satisfied especially how easily my computer detected the device.
Cons: The image quality isn't the greatest but for this price I am not complaining at all!
Other Thoughts: It does the job simply and efficiently would highly recommend this device to anyone needing a simple, inexpensive webcam.

Cheap, Works with Linux
Pros: Works. Cheap. Will work with most Linux distros.
Cons: Cheap. Very poor image quality in low light.
Other Thoughts: For the price and the fact that it Just Works(TM) with my Linux box, you can't beat it.

Good enough
Pros: Fast and quick enough.
Cons: You pay what you get for. Resolution isn't great, but good enough. Stand isn't great, but good enough. Microphone isn't great but good enough. Price isn't great, but better than most.
Other Thoughts: The cable that comes off of it has a USB port next to a microphone jack. Make sure you have a mic jack and a USB port near - two two cords split off the main cord with about six inches slack on each. So if your mic jack is at the front of your laptop and your USB port is on the back, you'll need a USB extender.

Great for The Price
Pros: Image is clear, never slows down Windows. Works well with messenging systems, easy to use.
Cons: The recipient of my webcam could not hear the sound inputed, even after multiple setups all indicating to use the right port.
Other Thoughts: Good buy.

not bad for the price
Pros: Cost less than other products
Cons: the users should be professional to control lights better taking snap shots
Other Thoughts: I used several webcams, but It was fine. If the person can control the lights very weel, it will be the better webcam than others.

Cheap Price, Cheap Camera
Pros: Very cheap price. That the only reason I got it.
Cons: Decent picture quality, low end software that can pretty much just capture. the construction is pretty much similar to a kids toy.
Other Thoughts: Its a cheap camera and thats what you get. If you want to get a web cam for someone not into computers then it will be great.

Alright camera
Pros: Cheap
Cons: A few dead pixels, fuzzy with low-light, but quite excellent for the money and quite sufficient for a webcam! You won't be taking any quality pictures with it though :-)
Other Thoughts: It's a fun little camera that works just fine!

No bother mentioned that the construction is really really bad!!!
Pros: Cheap price?
Cons: The construction for this product is very poor. Its made out of very cheap plastic, and the mount for the cam is so loose I have to crazy glue it to a fix point. I brought this because it has such great reviews! But no one has mention the construction's quality!!!! I'm considering returning it.
Other Thoughts: If you need a decent cheap webcam, I guess this would be okay, but construction is really bad, worksmenship is horrible. Looks like a 10 year's old science project.

Highly recommended
Comments: Can't get much more generic than this, but it works awesome. A vast improvement over my previous webcam. Has crisp image, wide viewing angle, built-in mic. No-frills packaging. Easy, hassle-free installation. Would buy another one.

Comments: The webcam came on time. VERY easy to install and begin. Simple. The instructions are good for a laugh, though. The broken english is entertaining. The people I use it with says that the image is smooth, and blurs only when quick movement happens. I assume having a higher connection would help the image even more. Also, you don't need a lot of lighting like some say they do. Just a normal amount is all you need. Seems to work very well all around to me.

Good camera for the price
Comments: Considering how inexpensive this camera is, I feared that it wouldn't work very well. However, the picture is very crisp, even when the ambient lighting isn't very bright. Also, the built-in microphone is very clear, and picks up well even if you don't speak loudly. The plastic casing feels just a little cheap, but the electronics inside are fantastic.
