pbcopter Tech Level: high Ownership: 1 day to 1 week This user purchased this item from Newegg	1/8/2010 1:07:08 PM Good Choice - Works Great! Pros: Connects to system quickly and easily. No problem with print speed. (Speed is usually a function of printer memory). Doucumentation on CD is good. Using with Windows 7 Ultimate both x86 and x64. Printer is HP LaserJet series II. Cons: None Other Thoughts: Default password is displayed on login screen. I have always had good results with StarTech products. Did you find this review helpful? peterg Tech Level: somewhat high Ownership: 1 week to 1 month This user purchased this item from Newegg	12/20/2007 8:12:44 AM Very slow over the network Pros: Allows you to connect your printer to LAN. Cons: This server is very slow over LAN. When I want to print more pages (10+) it will print two pages then stop, after a few seconds it will resume to finish printing. Scott Tech Level: high Ownership: less than 1 day This user purchased this item from Newegg	8/8/2007 5:49:12 PM Worked great! Pros: Installed and configured in under 5 minutes on Vista Ultimate with an old HP LaserJet 2100. Cons: The user interface on the server config utility could be a bit better (it still has a Windows 95 look to it) but as long as you understand the basics of how print servers work, you shouldn't have any problems. Other Thoughts: You have to look in the user guide under the non-windows section for the default password. 1 out of 3 people found this review helpful. Did you?
