Don't Buy This
Pros: Wired ports are fine, compact, leds are cool green
Cons: bad wireless signal, disconnects wireless products for "unknown errors"
Other Thoughts: NewEgg has plenty of better wireless routers...buy a better one

I like it
Pros: Better than the WRT54G v1.1 I replaced. This sits on my case just off the floor at one end of my house and reaches the other end. The WRT54G had to be 3 feet higher and 5 feet over for the signal to get past my kitchen to my bedroom. Smaller and better looking than the wrt54g.
Cons: The linksys software is fine with the exception that the security passphrase it generates uses capital O's that look like zeros. When you connect a second device you have to try various combinations. But the annoyance of a poor font choice is better than the obvious passphrase I would have chosen.
Other Thoughts: Works fine with my t-mobile hot spot phone.

Fantastic!
Pros: Speed and range are a plus. Works very well with multiple devices. Fantastic as a wireless access point (WAP). Has a very easy (okay, too easy) setup disk for those not too savvy with tech. Security (WPA) is very simple to set-up...
Cons: however, there are limitations to features that are 'locked.' In order to change any configurations that are on the very technical range, you will have to disable the 'Linksys Easylink Advisor' and dive into the unit with traditional methods. For my needs: No Major Problems thus far.
Other Thoughts: Also, for more specific features (networking, LAN systems, etc.), that is up to you to do some research on this device before purchasing.

Horrible Range
Pros: No much to say for pros.
Cons: Horrible Range. I am a network/computer consultant for the last 4.5 years and swear by most Linksys products. I consider them the best consumer class products out there, as I have sold about 50+ linksys routers/APs since I have been working professionally. I bought this router for the "Range Plus" for a client that needed some extra distance in a wireless network to an guest house on their property. It actually performed worst than the standard WRT54G in the same exact location. I could barely connect with it, even trying all configuration options. I ended up going a different router with them. I then tried to sell this product to a household with 1500 sqft and it 3 laptops could only get a "very low" connection @ 1mbps. Turning off the N spec didn't help as others suggested. I RMA'ed this product. Maybe I had a bad unit? For the $80 eighty dollars I paid it was riduclous. I even bought the "range plus" PCMCIA card that goes with this and still could hardly keep a connection.
Other Thoughts: DO NOT BUY this if you want a functioning wireless network.

Smooth
Pros: No issues, no problems. Does what it says and does it well
Cons: Does not update itself
Other Thoughts: I have had only one Linksys failure in all the years that I have used their products and I think that was a surge protector issue.

WRT100 does not work with MACBook
Pros: Ok with 54G but not in mixed mode.
Cons: This product does not support MAC wireless products. Have spent way to much time talking with Linksys about it and it does not work.

Great Router
Pros: Great router, meets all wireless needs in a 2600 square foot single-level home without problem.
Cons: This type of product is prone to User Error. Do what I do - get help from someone knowledgeable if you can't get it working.
Other Thoughts: I hate it when a 802.11 b/g product performs lousy in 802.11n mode! Sometimes it makes me so mad I feel like posting a two-star rating!

Worst router I've ever used
Pros: Nice looking case
Cons: Mixed B/G/N mode doesn't work (G-connections unstable), slow upload speed (slower than my old WRT-54G), UPnP not very good, big power drain on wireless devices.
Other Thoughts: To be fair, the B/G/N router I tried from another manufacturer also had the same problem with mixed B/G/N (B/G-only works fine in both devices), and both of them seem to be missing powersave mode that comes with 802.11b/g routers (my battery-operated devices die within a few hours when sitting idle, rather than a couple of weeks). But this thing router is painfully slow and the GUI isn't very good. This is the worst router I've ever owned, so I'm sending it back for a refund.

Fine Router
Pros: Seamless installation from previous Netgear router. Outstanding range, next door neighbor who shares my access has much better signal than with old router. Extremely good looking and appears well built.
Cons: The install CD that came with product can be just left in box or used as a coaster. It has no value whatsoever that I can see.
Other Thoughts: Just hook it up, go into http://192.168.1.1 which brings up the router menu and make your adjustments. Didn't feel the menu is quite as intuitive as Netgear's but a 5 minute call to Linksys Tech Support answered all of my questions.

Sleek, and performs well...
Pros: I love the black sleek look of this router. Matches my black desktop setup. We had the classic WRT54G and it finally crapped out after 4 years. This is the replacement. Web/GUI works great, Installer works ok. Signal is excellent in our 2bd house.
Cons: I almost sent this back, as it kept dissconnecting my girlfriend on her laptop and me plugged into the port on the back. After spending hours tweaking all the options I finnaly found the problem. Once I disabled the firewall inside the router through the Web GUI it worked like a charm.
Other Thoughts: If your having problems, disable the firewall like I did. It was useless anyways as me and my gf both have firewalls on our computers. You also have to update the firmware before using as it fixes some major issues, and also makes the LED light show that it is in fact a secured network.

Poor Router
Pros: Very Few.
Cons: The biggest piece of Crud I have had the pleasure to own, it disconnects and resets itself every few minutes.

Another great Linksys product.
Pros: Linksys reputation and good value.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: Replaced a Linksys WRT54G with this unit and was surprised with the range and speed increase. Definitely satisfied with this purchase.

so far so excellent
Pros: Great throughput (although it does NOT support 802.11N), very stable!
Cons: Installation software is somewhat slow in configuring the router. Web GUI interface is as good/bad as of any other vendor.

Easy Installation Windows Vista
Pros: Installation was very easy - took only a few minutes. Works well with my wife's Macbook and Ipod Touch. Range is good. Router is in basement and signal in the attic three floors up is very strong.
Cons: None yet.

Disappointing rigid
Pros: It works.
Cons: I previously had a D-Link G router for four years and the wireless went bad so I decided to buy a Linksys. Coming from what I am used to with my D-Link web interface, and the fact that Linksys is made by Cisco, I found the web interface very disappointingly rigid. 1. The Subnet is a dropdown rather than a textbox, with very few options, including the lack of ability to select 255.255.0.0, basically limiting you to the 192.168.?.x IP range, and a limit of 253 IP addresses (255 - router - broadcast). 2. The username on this model is blank, you can change the password of course, but having a username of blank I find very stupid. I think it should be "admin", but that is my opinion. 3. You cannot use apostrophe's in your SSID name, hello, I could on my D-Link router, so why the limitation?
I just find that my 4-year-old D-Link was more flexible than this rigid thing.

Easy Enough...
Pros: This is my first experience with wireless networking at home, and everything went reasonably well. I used the CD for setup, which takes you step-by-step from beginning to end.
I have one computer hardwired and one with a wireless adapter, plus a Wii on my network. Range and speed are excellent, and I'm not aware of any signal drops yet. Software indicates speed of 135 mbps, and I'm streaming audio and video from the internet with no issues.
Cons: A laptop card is available, but the wirelesss USB and PCI adapters that are supposed to be "available soon" for this router still can't be found anywhere that I know of. I used a wirelesss-N USB adapter with excellent results, although I understand this router doesn't actually support wireless-N.
Other Thoughts: Great price plus fast, free shipping...why shop anywhere else?

Great range, easy setup
Pros: Great price for the features, this router has outstanding range, I bought it for someone who couldnt get a signal from their basement to the 3rd floor of there house, and even at its weakest point you get 2-3 bars of signal.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Setup isnt bad if you dont use the CD. I just plugged the router into my desktop, typed in the IP and connected to the interface, set it up, and done in 10 minutes.

Misleading
Pros: Very good Wireless-G range.
Cons: The Linksys website misleads readers to believe that this device supports the Wireless-N draft spec (the site says: "Much faster than Wireless-G when connected to Wireless-N"). After chatting with Linksys support, I found that this device does not and will never support 802.11N in draft or final form.

Good job Linksys
Pros: Feel way more solid then the WRT54Gs I've worked with in the past. It's well built and feels good in your hands. The range on the unit is more than I imagined it could be and the consistency in signal stregth is excellent. This is covering a 5500 sq ft house with no dead zones that' I've found so far. It's on the first floor of the house and I can get 70-80% signal strength anywhere in the basement or upstairs. Very happy with the unit.
Cons: None that I have found. Not being able to replace the antenna with stronger ones has not been a problem because it's covering all the area I need with ease.
Other Thoughts: I did not know that this unit was Wireless N capable until it got here. So that was a plus.

Pros: I bought the wife a laptop. Prior to the purchase had three desktops running thru a Dlink DI-704, which has run forever with no problems. The laptop was the first wireless connect. This was the easiest configuration I have ever experienced. It was a snap. I have it in the third floor attic and I can connect anywhere on the first floor with no degridation. Super product
Cons: none...zero...nada.....!

really good
Pros: ok the little things packs a punch. my trg54 crapped out on me after 3 years so i bought this one. The range on this thing goes through my basement to the other side of my house and i get a good connection, better than my trg54 with the db gain antenna. overall great
Cons: the antennas are not removeable so i cannot used my old db gain. but the signal is still incredible.... no intermittent connections or anything.
Other Thoughts: i didnt even use the cd. just plug it in and watch this thing take off. linksys has a winner with this one... trust me when i say that.
