Great little Adapter
Pros: Very easy setup in Vista. No drops so far, connects automatically when computer boots every time. Cheap easy solution to adding a desktop to my home network 110 ft. from router through 3 walls.
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: If your thinking about one just get it you won't be sorry you did.

Better than most!
Pros: Have used many USB adapters and this is the only one I have had that runs 95-100 both in link and signal strength.
I'm now picking up signals in the neighborhood I didn't know existed.
Cons: Cant think of any.

Perfect choice
Pros: This was plug 'n play on Windows 7 64bit. It was completely painless, and the signal is strong in an area of the house that we've had trouble before. It's also tiny.
Cons: You can easily knock it off of whatever it's sitting on if you bump the cable.

Pros: Very good USB wireless adapter for the price. Never had any problems with it never had it drop a connection or anything of the kind. Speed's were always top of the line and would recommended it to anyone who needs a cheap adapter.
Cons: None.

Zonet hits a home run!
Pros: I love the range this device displays. It works very well and I have even be able to use it to receive a wireless signal from house to house. The configuration software gives you many more options than the stock Windows wireless settings.
Cons: If you are running Windows XP SP 1 or SP 2 and using WPA security you will need to install the driver and the configuration software in order to connect wirelessly as the built in Windows XP SP 1 or SP 2 wireless configuration tool may not like your WPA setting, especially if you are using a hidden SSID.
Other Thoughts: I own two of these and highly recommend them.

Pros: Works great on Win7 RC x64. Reception's a lot better than of the built-in HP laptop's card.
Cons: Needs the driver CD in order to work. Doesn't automatically get recognized in Ubuntu Linux. USB plug is stiff.
Other Thoughts: I couldn't get the card in promiscuous mode (think Wireshark), but you can't really expect that from a USB adapter anyways.

Works
Pros: Cheap. Installed quickly, no problems after 1 week. Works with XP 32, Vista 32, Win 7 32. Signal seems to be as good as other brands.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: (DIDN'T TEST ON ANY 64BIT YET)

Works great in XP
Pros: Easy to install. Works great in Windows XP. The signal strength is very good and comparable to my other computer that has an internal PCI wireless card.
Cons: I haven't been able to get it to work in Ubuntu yet. I read something on the Internet that it can be done but I'm still working on it. Otherwise, it deserves 5 stars.

Boink! Easy, inexpensive, & works perfectly
Pros: EASY, seamless installation, found my Linksys-g signal quickly, let me password right in, fast data transfer, strong signal strength, no disconnects ever -- WOW, something that just plain works! It works fine with XP with, more than enough wireless networking analysis-oriented, geeked-out tools present in product's user interface. Small footprint like it ain't even there . . .
Cons: Zip, nada, none
Other Thoughts: I wish more companies made their stuff this well-designed and that work perfectly right out of the box.

Horrible Company
Pros: Worked ... for 2 weeks.
Cons: Broke, after 2 weeks.
Their customer service line is always busy, and there is no way to wait on the line for someone to be open. They expect you to leave a message and wait to be called. In my experience, this never ever works out.
Other Thoughts: Newegg has you pay for 1-way shipping on all items you RMA. That is acceptable, because it is not their fault the product broke.
However, Zonet expects the same from me for an RMA. That is completely unacceptable. I will not pay for shipping to send a product back to the company that made it because it broke after 2 weeks. I should not have to pay for that, they should.
Every other company (who made the product) that I've had to RMA something to has not expected this. HP sent me a box that I put the item in and used a prepaid sticker to ship back. Microsoft sent me the item and told me to throw the old one out. Western Digital sent me the new one and had me send the old one back in the same box, prepaid. Dell did the same.
I look forward to never ordering anything made by Zonet ever again. Thanks for being horrible.

Highly recommend
Pros: Bought this adapter to replace the WMP54G that didn't work with Windows 7. Couldn't be happier with this new product, cheap price, compatibly with Win 7, extremely easy to setup and it just simply works.
Cons: None so far

Great little Product from unknown
Pros: It works just as advertised! Plug and Play with Win7 Ultimate 64, no other software needed; at least for me. I get the full 54Mbps, and reception is great but I'm only one wall away from my access point.
Cons: USB cord could be a bit longer but not an issue for my suedo HTPC setup.
Other Thoughts: Some cry about non-issues; the product is solid and works really well. Don't let the company name discourage you just because you've never heard of it.

Great very small adapter!
Pros: This is a great (very small) wireless adapter. I am getting 54mpbs off a "g" router signal is 4 bars, which is great considering the distance. I had to get the drivers off the disc that came with the card. I am running Vista Ultimate 32bit. Other than that its Great!
Cons: none yet as long as it works!
Other Thoughts: Like it has been said this is a very small adapter, but its big on performance!!! I like that it fits into a USB port.

Works with Windows 7 64-bit
Pros: Works great with Windows 7 64-bit Professional. I plugged it in and it worked. Didn't have to go to the site or even put in the disk. Great price!
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: Had the Linksys Wusb300n but ran into multiple issues with it on Windows 7. Constantly had to use the repair feature and turn back on the adapter manually. No such problems with this adapter

Looks cheap, but works.
Pros: -Works with Windows 7 -Works with XP -Has decent range
Cons: Looks cheap.
Other Thoughts: I bought two of these for two different computers. One is running XP Home, and the other Windows 7 Home Premium. Plugged it into the Windows 7 PC, and it immediately searched, found, and installed the proper driver. On XP I downloaded the latest driver from the Zonet website, and had it running in no time. My home is 2500Sqrft and my router is in the downstairs opposite corner as me. I get fair reception in this room.

Works great but has a lifespan of 3
Pros: -Easy to install -Worked instantly and continuously
Cons: -Dying after 3 years
Other Thoughts: I'm not sure how long a wireless adapter is supposed to last but getting three years out of a $22 item sounds good to me. I haven't even thought about this adapter from the day I plugged it in and it worked instantly. It has worked continuously ever since then.
Recently, however, it keeps losing the connection and I have to plug/re-plug and fiddle with it a bit to link again. I just assume it's aging after nearly three years and plan to replace it.

Great Wireless
Pros: High transfer speeds. Picks up wireless networks great.
Cons: None that I know of.

Amazing
Pros: Reliable, consistent, and fast. Doesn't overheat and can leave it on for weeks on end and not have to worry about it disconnecting.
Cons: Kind of bulky and rarely have to disconnect it and reconnect it when I restart my computer. Nothing major.
Other Thoughts: I have tried many USB wireless adapters mainly D-link and Linksys. I had issues with multiple models where they will not connect to my router, overheating, liking to work sometimes. With PCI wireless adapters kind of shirking and me losing faith in USB adapters, I come across this adapter from a company I never heard of. I got it on sale and what sold me was the overall overwhelmingly positive reviews for it. I am happy to said that the general populous was correct. Simply it works and works well with Windows 7.

its good, no problems
Pros: plugged it in, didn't even install the cd that came with it, worked right off the bat. replaced my old adapter that kept on disconnecting from the internet.
Cons: a bit larger than normal adapters, but thats not really a problem since i use it for a desktop pc.
Other Thoughts: might not be a convenient adapter for a laptop in terms of portability, but if you have a desktop, this is a good adapter to buy

Fast but...keep it still?
Pros: This thing satisfies me pretty well when it comes to downloading things or uploading. Play MW2, WoW, COD4, and all sorts just fine online :)
Cons: Here's the weird part...Whenever i slightly move the thing it disconnects! And i'm one of those people who sometimes rests my leg on the little shelf that connects to my desk. Ha, but whenever i wanna move it around it always DISCONNECTS! pretty strange huh? maybe just me
Other Thoughts: Speedwise and connectivity? this thing is cool :D But that whole disconnecting when i wanna move it, that's not cool. I'll be in the middle of a game and *ding ding* lol disconnected. So keep it still!

Would not recommend
Pros: Umm it works and I get 54Mbps
Cons: I would not recommend buying this. Download speed is extremely slow. I download a 5 MB file at 12kb/s with a 35 MB Internet Speed. It's not a server bandwidth issue, I experience the same problem downloading from different sources. This is really NOT a good product. The only reason I don't return this is because I do not like dealing with returning items.
It's extremely smaller than it looks on NewEgg (this can be good or bad depending on you perspective)
Other Thoughts: I do not recommend this and it is not worth the price. I wish I had purchased an PCI wireless card.

does the job
Pros: - cheap with free shipping - allows you to use XP's wireless configuration or the RaLink one - okay reception, good enough for the price
Cons: none so far
Other Thoughts: I have had this little guy hooked up the wife's computer with XP Home on it for about 3 months now... not a single dropped connection. My router is in the garage, two walls away (~30 feet or so).

Very very Nice wireless USB adapter
Pros: -Easy set up plug-n-play, Windows 7 installed this automatically without having to put the cd driver included. -very good range -no drop on your internet speed -nice design -very portable
Cons: -none so far
Other Thoughts: This thing is better than other internal pci wireless adapter. It has a good range. It gets me connected from a good distance from the router. Price is very reasonable. I haven't got any connection drop since I installed it, and my internet speed is at maximum.

Update to previous review
Pros: works with XPx86, nice range and power.
Cons: this is an update to my previous review. I thought i might have gotten a DOA due to it not working with win7x64, but i tried it on my XPx86 laptop and it works fine. I used it in a motel and got excellent speeds from the hotel across the parking lot (my own hotel was having issues). I checked the net and spoke with Zonet and Linksys support and the conclusion i came to was x64 OSes (vista *and* 7) generally do not like USB wifi adapters. linksys only has one adapter they certify to work with 7x64, and at the time i spoke with their support guy, it had been taken back off the market until they could do another revision, but they expected it back online soon. (this was a week or two ago).
Other Thoughts: I am in the process of running CAT5 as x64 wifi seems iffy and i dont want to waste more money buying another adapter that may or may not work. i got the cat5 for free so what the hel......

Not Win7 Ready
Pros: It works if you have WinXP installed. Signal strength and stability is good. It is cheap.
Cons: Zonetusa's website describes this card as Win7 compatible. On my Win7 system this card could not even be detected. It did install properly on my WinXP system. I went to their website for new drivers, the drivers on their website were even older and their online owner's manual for this model was from 2004. I attempted to call their tech support during their limited office hours and got a message that their office was closed.
Other Thoughts: If you are running WinXP and don't need an n-class WiFi card then this product would probably rate 4 stars for you. If you have Win7, or plan to have Win7, then the two stars I gave is a bit generous as the card is basicly dead on arrival for those users and you will get zero support from the manufacturer.

Pros: Karmic Koala found the adapter and began working after I blacklisted rt2800usb by typing the following in the terminal:
echo 'blacklist rt2800usb' | sudo tee -a /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
Cons: none so far seems to have an excellent signal, and response.

Great value
Pros: Plug and play in Windows 7 64-bit, and it gives me an "Excellent" reception... it beats my laptop's reception. It's inexpensive.
Cons: It's not 802.11n, but that's not such a big deal. The price point makes up for it.
Other Thoughts: I bought this after finding out my Encore PCI Wireless card didn't work with Windows 7. USB is more convenient anyway, and it works flawless.

Can't get this to work with Ubuntu 9.10
Pros: Works great with Windows 7 x64. Very cheap.
Cons: After a couple of hours trying, I am giving up trying to get this to work with Ubuntu - should work out of the box but I've wasted a lot of time (and my client's money) trying to make this silly thing work. Fortunately I have an old Netgear USB wireless adapter that just works with no problems.
Other Thoughts: If you are looking for a wireless adapter that will work with Ubuntu, why buy something no one has ever heard of? There is a huge amount of old stuff on the internet about trying to get this work - issues that were supposed to have been solved in 2008. Lots of very confusing information out there, but why bother? Just spend a little more money to get a Netgear or Linksys or D-Link product.

Not Impressed
Pros: Worked initially and had great range. Detected networks near my home that I did not know existed.
Cons: Put in a mixed environment with 1-802.11g and 1-802.11b access point. Would not connect with b network. Uninstalled Zonet provided software and then got connected to g but it only worked a few days. Now, won't detect a g network and won't connect with the b.

Works as advertised
Pros: Simple installation in Windows 7 x86 - no additional drivers required. Connected to a WPA2-PSK network without issue.
Cons: Cable is a bit short but not an issue for me.
Other Thoughts: This thing works exactly as advertised. No dropped connections and very portable.

Reasonable
Pros: Running Windows Vista. I followed the directions for the "driver-only" install. That seems to work well.
Cons: Does not have quite as long a range as the built-in networking but works fine for my purposes (only ~30 ft away from my wireless router.)

Great adapter
Pros: Great adapter with double the perfromance of another Belkin USB adapter for a lower price. Extension cable makes it possible to move the antenna to a better location fro receiving signal.
Cons: None so far
Other Thoughts: For the money this thing is great. I am detecting 5 more networks than I have ever seen before. The strength on my home network went from "good" to "Excellent" by switching to this adapter.

Pros: It's a very cheap wireless adapter for a desktop that works. This is perfect for normal office work or home office desktops.
Cons: This Zonet device periodically lags during gaming, about every minute there is a noticeable spike for about 2 seconds. I've tried a different wireless adapter and this issue isn't present, but it's only present with the Zonet wireless adapter. I've had this device for about 5 months and have reinstalled the software numerous times but the spiking issue is still there.
Other Thoughts: I would only recommend this for office or work use, and people should buy another wireless adapter for games.

Still a great USB WiFi adapter
Pros: Great price. Excellent speed for most home networks. Stable and mature drivers. You can always download the latest for nearly any OS from Ralink's website. (RT2870 Mini USB)
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: These work so well and consistently better then any other USB wireless adapter I've tried, this is the second ZEW2500 I've bought from NewEgg in the past 2 years. I'm tempted to buy a few more just as backup or if they decide to discontinue manufacturing them...they're that good.

Works
Pros: It does what I want it to do and it does it well. The drivers seem to be very good. The program it came with was great and almost tempts me to actually use it instead of the usual Windows tools.
Cons: None.

Win 7 x64 wont connect to adapter
Pros: i can fit it in my hat.
Cons: Cant connect the adapter to computer (as opposed to connecting the adapter to wireless network). Its plugged in, drivers installed multiple times, but the utility says the device is not connected. Windows device manager says its installed properly, but networking says there is a problem with the device.
Other Thoughts: Maybe I got a DOA. I emailed Zonet, and if they come up with a fix I will update this.

Works Great
Pros: Plugged this into an older AMD machine that I reformatted for my son which has Win 7 on it. It showed up loaded driver automatically and once wep was entered worked great! As cheap as some of the USB dongle ones but has separate antenna and can be placed on top of PC rather than sitting behind the case, possible shielded form RF.
Cons: None that I can think of. It came with a USB to mini USB cable and could possibly be unplugged. That is the ony down side I could think of

AWSOME!
Pros: This thing is awsome! Installed without a glitch, and it gets a great signal. Pretty fast for my usage.
Cons: It's not really a con but when I took it out I thought it was not in the silver bag thing because it is soooo light. Kinda scared be for a second...
Other Thoughts: Works great. Does what I need it to do.

Sometimes Good Things Do Come In Small Packages
Pros: The unit is small and PNP compatable with 64-bit Windows 7. Was ready to use withing 45 seconds of plugging it in. No owner setup was required.
Cons: Non so far!
Other Thoughts: The supplied USB cable is a bit short and it would be nice to have a screw-slot on the bottom to hang it on the wall.

Don't judge a book by it's cover!
Pros: Works better than it looks. Plug and Play in Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit. Slightly out does my netbook's internal antenna.
Cons: Never heard of this brand and who knows how their CS works. Hopefully I don't have to deal with them.
Other Thoughts: When I saw this thing on newegg I thought it was HUGE. It's tiny IRL compared to how it looks online. Like I said before, it slightly out does my internal antenna and was plug and play with Win7 32bit.
This thing looks cheap as all hell but I still ordered it because of all the positive reviews it has received here on newegg. I ordered it early monday morning and got it on tuesday afternoon with the basic 3 day shipping... GO NEWEGG!

Plug & Play on windows 7 64 bit
Pros: Instant plug & play on windows 7 64 bit. I tested this on my windows xp (32bit), windows vista (32 bit) as well. Works great. Got full bars instantly.
Cons: I contacted customer service for latest drivers; and they gave me RealTek drivers which BSoD my new machine. Zonet customer service is lame & most of them don't know what they are talking about.
Other Thoughts: This adapter uses a RaLink 2070 chip. Do not use RealTek or any othe manufacturer's chipset drivers with it. I'll update my review later if I face any issues with online games.

Died after a month
Pros: Range is perfect and was faster than my last PCI Wireless G card. USB makes it so I can put it anywhere and not, have a big antenna sticking out the back of my case. Vista 64 driver on the disk.
Cons: Died after a month would not power on.
Other Thoughts: It was a good device while it lasted better than any other PCI, USB I have ever, had in the process of RMA.

great adapter
Pros: I was having problems with my old pci wireless card, and wanted something cheap and easy to replace it. This little device works perfectly. I get great speeds (dl at over 1Mbps sometimes), very consistent and reliable connection. I use it for my primary PC, but it's so small and light I could take it wherever if it was for my laptop or even PSP/ps2.
Cons: None, this is a fantastic little piece of hardware.
Other Thoughts: Worth every penny.

It just works
Pros: Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Ubuntu 9.10 recognize the card out of the box, with no need to install drivers. Extremely reliable, no dropped connections or other flakiness. Fantastic price for such a good item.
Cons: None that I can think of.
Other Thoughts: I've purchased a few of these little buggers over the past year and now wouldn't consider buying any other USB wireless adapter. I'm spoiled!

surprised
Pros: I'd never heard of Zonet, but this looked like an affordable adapter. I got it set up in no time with no problems. Picks up mine and about 10 of my neighbors' networks.
Cons: Their network detection/setup software doesn't always automatically select my network. Could just be that I didn't study how to use it, but it was a little fiddly.
Other Thoughts: I plan on using it in a Mythbuntu box eventually. Hopefully that setup will be as simple as it was in XP.

Works for Win7 64-bit
Pros: Works for Win7 64-bit. Plug and play pretty much. Win7 recognized it right away and asked to install device but I opted for the disk. Works flawlessly. I like the antenna! Has great range for being a G adapter. It doesn't run as hot as the other adapters. It's affordable. And of course gotta love newegg for competitive prices and great service/shipping. Got here sooner than expected.
Cons: I guess its not really a con but I've never heard of Zonet. The brand name isn't as big as others: the packaging, appearance and looks of the adapter isn't as sexy some of the others either. Seems pretty generic. Of course it's def not worth knockin off an egg for that.
Other Thoughts: Have not had it for long. So far so good. It does what it's supposed to do. I get full bars. I've tried a couple other Netgear USB network adapters like the WG111 Super-G and the Rangemax dual band N adapters. The Super-G in my opinion worked well but it died when my computer fried (I know... Sigh). I don't really need to transfer huge files to any computers in my network at home so I didn't have the need for the Rangemax N adapter. G works fine for me so it made no sense to drop more dough on anything more.

Fantastic little adapter
Pros: Easy to use, very fast, picks up signal well.
Cons: None so far
Other Thoughts: I had some trouble getting this adapter working under Fedora 11 (Linux) despite many reviews stating that it works under linux. The problem was actually in identifying the chipset (and therefore the driver) -- it varies from one revision to the next. FYI, mine is the RT3070 from Ralink. Once I knew that, it was trivial to operate. It's worked great since then.

Painless Setup
Pros: I bought this because of numerous reader reviews praising its easy setup in Windows 7. Plug it in, Windows 7 installs the driver, and you can connect to your router! Was an easier install than my old Belkin PCI card, and gets a better signal too, 5 bars consistently instead of 4.
Cons: USB 2.0 can be a pro or a con, depending on whether you like having extra peripherals hanging out of your computer. I would have preferred PCI, but this saves me a slot too.
Other Thoughts: Fantastic product, I would definitely buy this again.

Surprisingly good
Pros: Plugged right in, popped in the mini CD and ran the installer, and I was online a minute later on my Windows XP 64-bit system.
Even after transferring a few gigs of data across the network wirelessly, it stayed rather cool to the touch. >90% signal from my router about 50 feet away.
Very impressed!
Cons: No way to mount it to something, and because it's only about the size/weight of a few credit cards stacked on top of each other, it tends to slide around easily.
Other Thoughts: I know which USB adapter I'll be buying from now on!

Inconsistent Compatibility
Pros: Installs and works perfectly immediately upon being plugged into my Windows 7 64-bit laptop and my brother's Windows 7 64-bit desktop.
Cons: Has some compatibility problem or something with my iBuyPower desktop. Doesn't connect successfully to the internet, causes networking functions in Windows to freeze, isn't detected by the included drivers, isn't detected by the download drivers, and here's the best part: one of the download drivers BROKE MY SYSTEM RESTORE, causing "catastrophic failure" every time I tried to restore and forcing me to reinstall Windows 7 (but the wireless card still doesn't work)
Other Thoughts: I am very technically proficient and have never had such a stupid problem with a hardware device before. Yes, this problem makes no sense, but it's going on anyway.

Excellent!
Pros: Windows Xp. I installed this >6 months ago with the Ralink drivers recommended previously and have completely forgotten about it until I just checked my newegg order history, and that's the wan an internet/network connection should be.
Cons: I have had great experience with ralink drivers and never installed the ones that came with the device.
Other Thoughts: The best wireless adapter I've owned.

Great
Pros: Plugged in windows 7 without an internet connection and windows 7 automatically gave it a default driver which then enabled me to connect to my wireless network. After connecting windows had an updated driver set that was specifically for my Zonet and installed it. No need for disk.
Windows 7 64bit certified :)
Cons: none

Pros: Fast speed
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: I followed a mixture of reading the directions as well as common sense when using the LAN utility, and I had it up and running in less than 5 minutes. As always great service from Newegg. I am a 10 year user of Newegg, and I ALWAYS start my tech shopping here first.

Great Value
Pros: Works better than other name brand devices I've used in the past (that cost 3X more). Quick and easy setup. Glad I took a chance and bought this one.
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: We use this device connected to a laptop in our 20K square foot warehouse. Unit works great even without a range expander. This is more than I can say for several other devices we have tried over the years.

DONT WORRY ABOUT THE PRODUCT
Pros: ada
Cons: ada
Other Thoughts: everyone that is having problems. listen. you might have to go into the device properties and change what channel it is receiving on, and change the receive type to 802.11 not 802.11\g i have a rosewill one and it was doing the exact same thing that everyone is complaining about. just do that and it will clear it up (hopefully) this is a good adapter. just put a little effort into figuring it out. its easy.

Works Great
Pros: Adapter works well from a fair distance from our wireless router. The router is on the main floor of our house and I have one of these adapters in the basement at least 40 feet away and also two upstairs at least 30 feet away--all computers receive a good signal with no drop outs.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: I don't use these computers with the adapters everyday, but they always connect easily to our Linksys router Model WRT54gs

Ubuntu Linux users take note.
Pros: Cute little unit. Very light, almost flimsy. The weight of the cord pulls it off the top of the computer. Would go good as an aux. Wi Fi pickup for a laptop or inexpensive computer. Just plug it in to a usb port and power up.
Cons: Not only does Vista 64 not recognize this adapter, but Ubuntu 9.10 doesn't see it either. The difference is that Ubuntu doesn't lock up like Windows. There IS a workaround found in the Ubuntu forums, but install isn't automatic.
Other Thoughts: As usual, the install disk is worthless unless your machine is running Windows. It looks like the makers would understand there are millions of us out here who use LInux and Mac. I would love for NewEgg to advise when product is not compatible with certain OS.

Vista x64 users beware!!
Pros: Cheap, easy to install, nice design. Works ok with XP x32 bit systems.
Cons: Connection is totally inconsistent with Vista x64. After dropping connection, will send your system into cardiac arrest.
Other Thoughts: Installed ok on the Vista x64 system but after only 1 hour of light use started dropping connection to no end. The Zonet firmware included would begin looking for the connection resulting in the PC freezing where we had to force shutdowns to get it to turn off. Ive never seen anything like it before. Vista users beware.

Good for basic internet browsing, but thats just about it
Pros: Very easy to install, just plug it in and use it. It always has good reception (at least 36MBPS through two floors and a wall). Great for basic internet stuff, like LAN parties, browsing the web, and that sort of thing.
Cons: This this likes to disconnect when there are too many connections, which makes torrenting, downloading, or browsing the web with many tabs open (all of which I like to do) a hassle. This might be a problem with my router and the amount of maximum connections its wireless network can handle, but I believe it is shared between the two. This piece of hardware is just a USB device after all, so you aren't going to get amazing performance. Also, when the internet disconnects, I cannot simply "Diagnose and Repair" or unplug and then plug the adapter back in. I must restart the computer every time I lose internet to regain a connection.
The driver/CD installation worked, but the drivers were terrible. I updated to the RaLink drivers immediately.
Other Thoughts: I would strongly recommend looking for another adapter if you really want a strong, stable internet connection. But if you just need it for browsing the web, then its great!

works good
Pros: my zonet was delivered about november 16,i installed using included software.my os is xp pro64 bit. no problems.but reception was only a little better than my wireless card. i finally went to ralink website and downloaded new software 09\25\2009.after install the improvement was maybe 75%. so get your new software. what u need is the first listed,dated09/25/2009. i ordered a second zew2500p. picks up around 10 to 14 wap. if signal strength drops to 7% will not look for better signal. i do not enter anything in profile, this stops search for better signal. i don't live in an apartment building either. get one
Cons: if u buy two u don't get a free one.
Other Thoughts: if zonet stops manufacturing these what u gonna do.

A little gem
Pros: Awesome little adapter. It's small and sleek, the antenna folds down for a compact package. It's plug and play with Win 7 64bit, which is hard to find in "name brand" adapters.
Cons: The usb/miniusb cable is only a meter long, I don't know if an aftermarket cable will work, this one has a ferrite choke on it.
Other Thoughts: Great value

works on windows 7 64-bit ultimate
Pros: drivers work for 64-bit windows 7 ultimate right out of the box
Cons: reception isn't as good, i have a pci wireless adapter which pulls 14 megabits download and this zonet adapter only gets around 9 megabits.
Other Thoughts: cheap and working internet. its an okay product.

Works Great on Windows 7 64bit
Pros: Super fast installation. Connected via USB and driver self installed in under 10 seconds. Wireless router was found instantly. Password entered and 5 seconds later was surfing the web.
Did a quick speakeasy.net test and was getting 15453 kbps (1931.6 KB/sec). Wireless G is still pretty good for me.
Cons: The only time it sucks is when I am transferring big files onto my home server and am too lazy to plug in the gigabit ethernet in.
Other Thoughts: This works very well and I would suggest it to anyone. I am not sure how some of the people couldn't get it to work on Windows 7. It pretty much does everything for you.

Pros: It works as well as my old adapter
Cons: It works as well as my old adapter
Other Thoughts: I bought this after reading reviews discussing increased signal detection range and more powerful signal reception. No such luck. I had no issues with drivers running Vista 64.

Stop wasting your time and buy this!
Pros: Works. Works without having to mess with it for hours. Works with Windows 7 64 bit Connects quickly, reliably and rarely drops
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: I've gone through several wireless adapters because they are either won't hold a connection or don't have drivers that will work with Windows 7 64bit. This works perfectly out of the box with Win 7 64. This is my second one to buy since the built in wireless adapter on my new Sony Vaio doesn't work.
If you're tired of hunting down drivers and messing with adapters that drop the connection and won't work, buy this and make your life better.

Bad USB Cable/Bad Drivers
Pros: Can pick up wifi signals from over 500 feet away.
Cons: The drivers that came with the device will not recognize the device, I had to go to http://www.zonetusa.com/download.aspx to get the correct drivers. The second issue is that the mini USB cable that came with the unit was bad from the get go. With the proper drivers and a replacement USB cable, the unit has a stronger signal than any other device I have tried.

Solid device
Pros: Purchased to replace a Medialink wireless usb adapter that wasn't quite cutting it, and it does the job. Despite being far away from my access point, I still get steady signal with this unit.
Cons: I ran into problems with the drivers I downloaded from the company's site, and couldn't get the unit to be detected at first. It comes with a mini installation cd which I didn't think would work with a regular sized drive -- it does work, though, if you place it in the center indent. For best results, run the driver install from the cd first, then plug the unit in when it says to.
Other Thoughts: I recommend using the supplied software instead of windows zero-config, and you'll want to move the unit around a bit to find the best signal. Having a usb extension cord may help with this if your access point is distant, be aware that this unit doesn't come with one.

Exactly what I needed
Pros: The total time between opening the box and having internet service from a router located two floors below was under 10 minutes. Straightforward setup and software interface. Works better than any internal card I have used in the past, and with less hassle.
Cons: None so far.

Great card
Pros: Great card, it works as if i was plugged in locally. It power's itself via USB so no need for another power cord. Also it has a decently small footprint. So if you have a bad wireless card in your laptop (like I do) and you want some extra range it works great. Or if you need WiFi from your desktop.
I play Aion with this card and don't have any issues.
Cons: It goes through USB, which isn't a big deal for most people, but I have a lot of external peripherals and like all my USB ports. Not worth knocking off an egg since I knew this prior to buying.
Other Thoughts: The cord is pretty short (about 2-3 feet) not an issue for me since it sits just on top of my desk, but if you need to set this up a ways away you will need a USB extender.

Be Careful in Win7 64
Pros: Cheap, but you get what you pay for.
Cons: The driver update for this has given me all sorts of problems. The website is poorly designed and Windows Automatic Update claims to find a good installer, then gets stuck on the "Creating a Restore Point" part of the update procedure. I still haven't figured out how to get it working. Plug N Play recognizes it and TRIES to install a driver, but gets nowhere. Will keep trying!

works wonderfully
Pros: Cheap, I've had no issues with it, my computer's on the first floor and the router's on the second floor
Cons: It's a lil bigger than some other wireless USB things.

Win2k, PCLOS LXDE, PCLOS KDE4.3
Pros: Finally got it working in PCLinux OS.
This works fine on my old Toshiba laptop with Win2k.
Cons: Reading linux install reviews on here, it sounded like a piece of cake. I have been trying to get it working using LXDE and was unable to do so. LXDE did not show the Zonet adapter in the PCLOS Control Center, only ndiswrapper. Tried getting that working - no luck. I had the adapter daisy chained to my USB mouse and keyboard. Tried plugging it into a free USB port on the motherboard, but my computer would lock up on a restart. 'Reverted' to KDE4.3 and the Zonet was recognized and easily set up in PCLOS's built in Control Center.
Other Thoughts: I'm happy now. Time for a beer.

like 1992 all over again
Pros: None - it doesn't work with my Win7 64 system. This is the only problem I have had with this Win7 system, so I think it is the device and not 7/the computer.
Cons: Others have installed this on Win7 64, so I gave it a try. Windows Update launched and couldn't find a driver. I went to the company's website but it HAD NO CONTENT (just a pop-javascript alert in Japanese). I put the driver disk in and setup failed to complete twice. I copied it to my harddrive after the next reboot and then setup completed, but their utility does not find the hardware when it is plugged in. I've done several complete un-installs and re-installs with no luck.
Other Thoughts: I will wait a few days to see if their website comes back online and has any helpful information or downloads

Works like a charm!
Pros: Works great under Windows Vista and Ubuntu -- provides me with a very strong signal to AP in use here. It can also be used as an AP, though I haven't used that capability (in Windows the tool from Zonet allows an easy config setting change)
Cons: None so far. As with any device, takes a little technical know how when dealing with bleeding edge technologies.
Other Thoughts: Ubuntu: I upgraded to 9.10 from 9.04 and initially had some problems where the wireless network was detected, but it could not establish a connection with the WEP password. After scouring online, I found that I had to add the following to /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf:
blacklist rt2800usb blacklist rt2870sta
After that, and a quick restart, and the wireless connection was established faster than I could even notice!

definitely recommended
Pros: comparatively fast. a little less than double the throughput compared to my laptop (next to customer's computer using Zonet) using Dell 1397 b/g card (which is only "good"). fairly painless install on XP. cable is short, but long enough to allow you to rest the unit on top of the computer case, keeping the computer from between the router and receiver. installer gives choice for driver only, or driver + their wireless manager. as a tech, this makes me cry nerd tears of joy.
Cons: docs are minimalist, and not 100% perfect english, but they get the job done. install on XP was easy and painless despite the unimpressive install guide.
Other Thoughts: packaging is acceptable. no idea what their support and/or site is like. unit is small and plastic, but doesnt really feel cheap or fragile.

slipped right in on Windows 7
Pros: Cheap price, usb, comes with a that lets me move it to a good location
Cons: none yet
Other Thoughts: Picked this up because my old USB adapter died. Have had all kinds of problems with PCI wireless cards in my Dell and HP machines, but USB adapters have worked nicely. This arrived quickly and within about 5 minutes of opening the box, had it up and running. All I did was plug it in, Windows 7 found the driver, loaded it. I picked the network to connect to and was off and running. It is a nice small adapter and the connection strength has been good. Very impressed with such an inexpensive adapter.

Problem Solved
Pros: Works perfect. Haven't dropped connection yet. Hold a strong signal. Don't listen to anyone who says this adapter is "not for gaming". I play world of warcraft while surfing the internet with no problems.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Very satisfied, my d-link I had earlier just wasn't cutting it. This adapter has exceeded my expectations.

GREAT ADAPTER...BUY IT
Pros: Compatible with Windows 7 64bit. No setup issues at all. Best reception I have had out of 4 other adapters.
Cons: None other than I didn't buy it sooner.
Other Thoughts: I have had a problem getting a strong signal on this computer . At times the signal was totally lost. It is about 70 feet away from the router through thick walls. I have tried three other adapters in the past. Since having this adapter I have not lost a signal one time. It works great on Vista 32bit, 64bit and now windows 7 64bit. I have tried it on all of them. I hightly recommend it. As a matter of fact I just purchase a second one.
