Solid router
Pros: Rock solid router.
Cons: Software not so hot.
Other Thoughts: I have a pretty extensive set up at home and have a lot of wireless gadgets lurking around. This router has performed well. My home is 1,700 square feet, single story and the router lives in a corner room. No issues at all receiving a signal on the other side of the house. Security setup is decent, although you do need to have some knowledge of wireless security to make use of the available options.

Poor transfer performance
Pros: Easy to setup, easy to configure. MAKE SURE TO SELECT "Austo 20/40 MHz" Channel width FOR BETTER SPEED.
Cons: Slower wireless transmission speed than I should be getting. 110Mbit/sec max :/
When transferring files from one computer to another both connected to the router, all eternal internet transfer STOPS. See other thoughts
Other Thoughts: I currently have three computers connected to this router. Two connected with gigabit LAN cards, and one with a wireless N.
Transfering between the two wired PCs works flawlessly. ~450Mbit/sec (Maxing out the HD speed).
Transfering between the wireless PC and either wired PC is where the problem is. Not only is it fairly slow compared to what it COULD be: ~110-120Mb/sec. But during the transfer all external (internet) transfers stop on ALL THREE PCs. I'll be downloading a file from the internet on any one of my 3 PCs, and when I copy a file over the wireless from one of my wired computers, the download will STOP until the file copy is done.
I am using the latest firmware, but I wish I could install DD-WRT, maybe then it could give me the additional info to see what is causing this huge problem.

After further review
Pros: I originally reviewed this router about a month ago with 2 eggs. I'm back to change it to 5 eggs. After finally determining that my NAS was causing issues I was able to see what this router was really all about. I have to say it's the best router that I've ever owned. Range and throughput are excellent. I have configured an FTP server to access from outside of the office and it is quick. i have it bridged to another AP and it works great. Now if only it would play nice with my NAS. That's life. But by far this is the best router that I have ever owned!
Cons: Just that it is not compatable with my NAS. Can't really blame that on the router.

Quite Disappointed
Pros: It workes well wired: gigabit ethernet, woohoo!
Cons: Wireless constantly cuts out and drops connection unpredictalby. My wife and I often have our laptops running and one will be able to access the internet (and the rest of the hard-wired network) while the other is dropped off. Distance from device doesn't make a difference, be it 3 feet or 30. If I hadn't been so lax in getting around to things and going beyond the return policy, this would be on it's way back to NewEgg. Either way they can be expecting an order for a new router soon.

I love this router!
Pros: Wireless N and Gigabit switching for under $100! Very easy to understand web interface, sleek design with lights that indicate whether you have a 1000 or 100 connection. Havent had a single connectivity problem or downtown!
Cons: None that I can think of so far other than the "Trendnet" name is not as common of a name, so less people have heard of it.
Other Thoughts: I bought this router 4 months ago and havent found a single complaint yet. I have never had to reset it once, my wireless speed from my laptop is a huge improvement over my previous Dlink one (which was only B/G and was about 5 years old). The web setup page has a lot of great settings and it allowed me to setup my wireless network with a hidden SSID. Despite what "experts" tell you, hiding your SSID is a very effective way of keeping people out of your network. You dont need to turn on WEP or WPA (which slows down your throughput) and the majority of novice comptuer users will skip your network when trying to "steal" your signal. Yes, experienced hackers can easily get around this, but Im not worried about expereinced hackers, its my stupid neighbors who are most likely to take my signal. Since I've hidden my SSID, I have seen absolutely ZERO unwanted traffic in my DHCP logs! This is a great router with great performance, great features, at a great price!

Awesome
Pros: Great speed/features/reliability/...everything. Gaming works great over wireless. I have had this router a long time (November, 2008) and have never had a problem with it.
Cons: Nothing, I really mean it, nothing.
Other Thoughts: If you play source games (TF2) and want to use the mic add a rule to prioritize UDP packets. I just added UDP as the #1 priority and it works great.
I have only had a small network, 2 computers over wireless. Using both at the same time for gaming is no problem.

Great router. Fast Fast Fast
Pros: Fast. Bendable antennae allow you to stand it up or lie it on its side. This lets you stick it wherever you want, out of site.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: I have a small apartment so I can't really comment on the range. I do notice that I no longer get 5 bars once I'm in my bedroom, about 60ft from the router. Others here have mentioned that they get a great signal much further than that, however.

Review from a Very Happy Woman
Pros: - Easy setup; SO much easier than my former extremely frustrating Linksys router! - Great range and signal - Sleek black; not an eyesore like some routers... *cough* Linksys *cough*
Cons: Absolutely none so far
Other Thoughts: Paired with a TRENDnet wireless adapter, smooth as a baby's bottom using cable modem connection. I would never go back to Linksys, even if someone gave me one for free.

Great router UPDATE TO LATEST FIRMWARE 7/09/2009
Pros: I have owned this router for about a year now. Icannot say enough good things about it. Previous to this I had the beloved Linksys WRT54G ver 3.3 running DD-WRT. I hated that gimpy thing always dropping wireless connections and easily saturated. I have the router taking WAN from comcast and sending it to the procurve switch. Then I populated the other 3 ports (You lose one to the switch) with the printer, Vonage and a port for my wifes laptop when she is in her office. In total on this home network we have 4 desktops, 2 android wifi devices, 2 laptop wireless clients, a network printer, Vonage phone adapter (linksys) and 1 Windows Home Server Box, PS3 and DirectTV DVR and one HTPC. In combination with an HP procurve 16 port switch, all ports populated. This switch can handle all the traffic and more. If you have anything less then you will be fine.
Cons: Had to buy Intel® Ultimate N WiFi Link 5300 clients for the laptops to make this an all 802.11n network. Trust me this is the wireless client you want.
Other Thoughts: UPDATE TO THE LATEST FIRMWARE PEOPLE> THIS SHOULD BE STANDARD FARE!!!! although i will say that maybe networking companies should "push" auto firmware updates.

Great ROUTER!!
Pros: I've had this router for about a year now. I'm running 2 PS3's and a XBOX 360 all on wireless and a laptop and a computer wirelessly and my computer is wired. I have ran data transfer tests and get over 100 MB/S between comptuer. And the coverage is a acer large.
Cons: Had problems in the past with port forwarding for game servers. Can't run servers on it and it doesn't give you data feeds like most routers do.
Other Thoughts: To get what you paid for with this router don't buy cheap wireless adpters for your computers.

Works Really Well
Pros: It was very easy to set up. kind of a bummer that you need to use a cd to set it up. I suppose thats why I only deserve low understanding.
It works all the way to the edge of my lawn in furthest back corner, with signal strength of excellent on my laptop. I don't have a distance, sorry. Interweb is fast and very reliable. Good purchase.
Cons: Cost, it was not free.

Constant Disconnects
Pros: Massive Range. I live in a 3 story building (about 20 units) and the router is at the back of the apartments building I was using my laptop in my car on the other side of the building. Hope that gives you an idea.
A ton of features. i mean a ton. I don't even know what most of them do. A lot of security stuff. You can block web pages and computers from accessing (never tried it myself though but the features are there)
Cons: This would be a perfect 5 if it wasn't for all the wireless disconnects. Since day one I had this problem of it disconnected all computers connected wireless after x amount of minutes or x amount of data being downloaded. I lived with it for a whole year....The disconnects isn't actually the bad thing, it's that when you try to reconnect the network SID isn't there anymore. It's just gone, dissappeared. No where to found unless you manually unplug the power supply. I be a millionaire right now if I got a dollar everytime I disconnected the power supply.
Other Thoughts: Now why would I still have it for over a year if it sucked that bad? Because the router when connected through a wire worked flawlessly. Since it's on my main computer it works fine and it's connected through a wire I have to no gripe. But my girflriend on the other hand gets angry at me and the router. Anyways I think i'm going with linksys.

Pros: Simple and easy to install and setup. I just ran the installation cd (skipped the install of their Magic software) and then simply swapped out my old router for this one.
Cons: None. things couldn't have been easier.
Other Thoughts: There seems to be a hit or miss with a lot of the reviewers, either you have the best of luck or the thing just doesn't work. I bought this to replace my Linksys based on there being over 500 reviews and about 76% of them where 4 stars or better. Glad I did, things couldn't have been any easier to setup or run.

Defective
Pros: Wired network worked good...
Cons: To start off the power adapter was defective. I had to use the 12V adapter from my Linksys to get the thing on.
During configuration of port forwarding, etc. it bricked on me twice and would not connect wired or wirelessly. Had to reset the router each time. I was changing forwarding ports into the local LAN for my personal server the 1st time it bricked on save settings. The 2nd time I was changing the local domain.
After I finally had it configured, I noticed the wireless was dropping every 3-4 minutes like clock work. Did not matter if it was G or N. During this time wired still works but the wireless will not re-connect for a solid 20-30 seconds or more. You do not get disconnected from the wireless when it happens, it simply stops sending packets through the air. About 30 seconds pass and it will start working again.
Thought it might be an old firmware issue. Updated the firmware and it did not help. RMA'd.
Other Thoughts: Save the $100 for something else.
Thank you Newegg for handling the situation greatly. Will never shop anywhere else.

It's OK for the price and light load
Pros: Great functions and easy WEB interface. Don't need the software to setup this router, just know the starting IP address. Wireless function is simple. I haven't used the bridge function since it's the First router. DHCP is doing very well.
Cons: Seems to have a problem with Wireless transmitter just stops broadcasting. Re-boot and it's up again. Seems to get full NAT tables and doesn't know how to clean up logging. Might need a flush routing tables added to it's maintenance.
Other Thoughts: I had to rush for a router for a new office. New Egg had in my hands the next day. (Yaa New Egg) Needed 1Gb router with wireless and this seemed to fit the need. It's been in use for about a month and I'm still experiencing growing pains with this device. Under 20 users and 2 servers and it doesn't seem ready for real office use. The WiFi is in a congested cafes location offering free WiFi and it gets hits all the time. The transmitter issue is a problem with owner that has a iPhone and two other laptops. This unit will have to be upgraded when the office hosts it's own email. I don't feel that this device can handle small office email routing when it's binding up with this light load.

Works great
Pros: Easy to setup. The range is great. I live across the street from a park and now I can take my laptop with me while my son plays, which is about 100 yards away.
Cons: Does not have an HTML based configuration that I could find. Installs network software without permission that I did not want, but it is easy to uninstall it.
Other Thoughts: great performance for the price

Pros: Wireless N with gigabit switch allows for high bandwidth. Wireless range is good. Can play hd movies over wifi fairly well.
Cons: Poor tech support. Service very slow. They take anywhere from 3 days to a week to respond. Have to restart my modem about 2x's a day as internet stops working. Trendnet support had me RMA. Got a replacement and have the same problem. I think it's a glitch with DHCP release/renew. Could be fixed in firmware a new firmware release. I reported this to tech support but they are stumped. They tried to blame it on ISP and modem but when my old Belkin router is installed my internet works fine. If it wasn't for this issue I would easily rate a 5. It's very irratating to have to reset the modem every day especially since I access my home network remotely from my office at times. I am not able to do so when router tries to renew dhcp.

Works great for me
Pros: Fast throughput, very good wireless signal. I know a previous reviewer said no wireless bridge, but thats exactly what im connected to now.
For those who cant figure out routers ip address: 192.168.10.1
Cons: Total pain in the a_s to set up the wireless bridge. Pretty flakey in bridged mode.
Other Thoughts: I spent about 3 hours trying to nail it just right. Right out of the box, I got it up and running and switched it to briged mode with my WRT54G (tomato 1.23)
It was working great for about 15 minutes, then I reset the Linksys, and thats when the trouble started. It would not connect after that.
Finally I reset the 633 to default settings. Changed both routers to wpa (tkip/aes) both have same SSID and same key. WRT is on channel 6, this one is on channel 1. WRT is on 192.169.2.1 this one is 192.168.2.10. Everything seems ok for now. I still cant figure out why it worked and then after it lost the connection, it would not connect again.
I like it, I wish it had bandwidth monitoring. I would replace my WRT and get another. Someday these vendors will realize that we want to be in control of our goods. So , thanks to the Egg, I just ordered another WRT54GL. It will probably replace this router for its lack of customization.

Pros: Very easy to set up out of the box, but the standard firmware is also highly customizable. WDS feature a big plus for me.
Cons: Can't think of any thus far.
Other Thoughts: I have two of these in the house right now. Hosts on the other side of the house were getting a very weak/no signal. Purchased the second one to setup with the WDS feature (wireless repeater). WDS setup was very quick, I only hit one snag. Note that if you intend to use this as a repeater, you must disable the DHCP server (let the main router handle the DHCP requests - this is not documented). Aside from that it was very easy to figure out. It's worth noting that you can use up to 6 routers for WDS - that's a lot of coverage! WDS does not work with WPA. I think it works with WEP, but I currently only use the MAC filter in the spirit of getting it up and running first.
Also, as I noted, the firmware is very robust, you have tons of features (most notably easy port forwarding setup and ACLs). I was skeptical of going with Trendnet at first, but I am very impressed and happy with this product. I would buy it over and over again for any home or small business.

Great Router
Pros: Tech support is 24/7 toll free and had me up and running quickly - very friendly and helpful person on the other end - no long wait - maybe 30 seconds. It's very sleek with soft rubber feet and good visual indicators. good user manual available online for download as a PDF. 1gb/s LAN and 300mb/s wireless.
Cons: Software installation didn't work - stalled waiting for the router - so I had to call tech support - see pros. Waited for 20 minutes before deciding to call tech support. I deliberated if 4 or 5 eggs and gave this router 5 for the great Tech support despite the problems with the installation disk
Other Thoughts: Others have complained about the installation of network magic software not needed - My installation disk gave me the option - uncheck the box and it won't be installed, step 3 in the instructions covers this very clearly - Me thinks some people didn't read the manual! :)

So far, so good...
Pros: So far this wireless router is working as expected and meeting expectations. Overall data rates over wired and wifi are much much faster.
Cons: None yet.
Other Thoughts: I'm used to configuring network devices via the web interfaces, but wasn't getting anywhere with this unit for some reason, so I popped in the CD and that got things rolling. The install software is not scary and as best as I could tell, did not install any "extras" that I didn't have the option to leave out, so no worries there. Also had trouble getting my laptop's wifi card to connect, so I used the PIN option and that got the connection going.

Great Router, Buying a 3rd!
Pros: I am little annoyed with the n00bs dissing the TEW-633GR below. This is really one of the only decent consumer routers on the market and it often available at a good discount from NewEgg. I have had two in use for a combined total of about in year in time and had absolutely no problems with either one. In fact they have been a joy to use compared to the junk I have had to deal with before. It is worth pointing that the 633GR has fairly meaty built-in antenna power, 3 x 4dBi, compare that with 2 x 2dBi that of others, and that it can operate as repeater to extend your wireless range to other buildings (bridge mode), which means that you can probably find a use for this router or re-sell it long after it becomes obsolete as router per se.
Cons: The only real complaint I have about this router is that you can not lock down access to the Admin/User control pages by IP address or simply entirely disallow WLAN access to them. Instead you have to filter by MAC addresses, which is not as secure (since wireless device broadcast their MAC addresses for access of course). Otherwise, detachable antennas would be improvement for use as repeater.
Other Thoughts: The last TEW-633GR I bought from NewEgg came with a free Rosswill RNX-EasyN1 USB Adapter. It may not be high powered but it is fully Mac OS X compatible (Intel & PPC) and even worked with my old G4 PowerBook (I was shocked). I used that adapter so I can run exclusively in 802.11n for better performance and am certain many problems that people are reporting below are due to the mixing of modes (i.e running 802.11g/n or worse). Due yourself a favor and just the 802.11n adaptors you need (it is not like they are expensive) and stop whining about the 663GR.

wireless is non-existent
Pros: Looks nice, perfect wired connections, gigabit router, ip access is easy
Cons: Cannot wirelessly connect with my desktop (linksys wmp54g adapter) or my Hp laptop. i could connect to the network but i received only 17 packets in 16 hours so 99% packet loss. have tried every encryption and nothing works and used static ips auto ips changed channels but its all useless. Called tech support got a guy that i could barely understand and he ran me through a few basic diagnostics and when he couldnt fix it gave up and told me both my laptop card and adapter werent working when they work fine with my old router. Still messing with all settings but so far this thing is a glossy doorstop as far as wireless goes cuz id rather not keep a 50ft ethernet running through my house. i hope trendnet reads this and will find someone who has actual knowledge and speaks english to help me but so far its heading quickly towards RMA
Other Thoughts: Was excited to get a real N router but held off on getting a N adapter glad i did cuz there is not much point if there is no wireless to begin with

Worthless...
Pros: Specs...and advertised feature set. See cons.
Cons: Essentially DOA. It worked for approximately 5 minutes. I set up WPA and changed the SSID via a wired connection. Didn't change anything else as I just wanted to test it to start out. Planned on updating the firmware, but decided to wait. After connecting via wireless, the connection dropped after five minutes. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and tried to connect again, not thinking much of the dropped connection, but when I looked at the device the wireless light was not on anymore, and then it began... I reset the device, upgraded the FW, reset the device again, etc. I then contacted Trendnet's outsourced support, argued with said support, repeated all of my previous steps as per support's instructions, argued again because they wanted me to use XP as they were not familiar with Linux, and they finally decided it was defective. Before it was all said and done, the device would not even accept a wired connection & the wireless light would not come on at all.
Other Thoughts: Newegg is amazing, they took super care of me and ensured I didn't lose money. As for the product, it is truly junk. It was not well made, and I feel like the quality of the company is extremely questionable. I purchased it with the hope I could get a decent N router for a reasonable price. The main reason I went with this device was because of all of the features. Without dd-wrt, I didn't feel like any router could live up to expectations, but since the only dd-wrt supported N router I felt comfortable with is going in some places for up to $500, I decided to try this thing. I don't usually write reviews, but this purchase was such a major bust I felt compelled to share my experience. I understand that you shouldn't bash a product for a single DOA, but this was an extreme case and I feel like Trendnet was all too comfortable telling me that they didn't care whether or not they had my business. Please save your money or spend a bit more and go with a quality product.
Manufacturer Response:Valued Customer. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you and would like an opportunity to resolve this matter. Please e-mail us at "sales@trendnet.com" and reference "New Egg Product Review" in the subject line and someone will contact you immediately. We look forward to working w/ you directly and restoring your faith in TRENDnet Products. Regards, TRENDnet Sales Team

Good Overall Performance
Pros: Works well and easy to setup. No issues so far.
Cons: Was getting disconnected once in a while until I disabled SPI and change 'NAT Endpoint Filtering' for UDP and TCP to 'Endpoint Independent'. You can find these settings in Advanced / Firewall.

Great Bang for the Buck
Pros: I originally got this for my time up in alaska since there is only a couple locations with internet access. My living quarters was well over 1000 feet away from the nearest access point. This thing was up to the job, made the several months up there much more tollerable.
Once I got back home I set this up in the center of the house (~2200 sqft) and I have to say that there is not a point in the house that doesnt have an excellent signal. Even have a signal out in the shop, couldnt ask for more.
The security features are a big perk. Very secure and making sure my internet is only my internet, no stealing from any neighbors :)
Couldnt recommend this thing anymore. Much better than my Linksys and Netgear setups. Currently using it for my PC, laptop, and Xbox 360. Works great.
Cons: Isn't free?
Other Thoughts: Very durable. This thing spent three months in Alaska on the top of a warehouse, exposed to very dusty, humid, windy environments. Great quality and aesthetically pleasing.

wow!
Pros: Simply put, the best wireless router I've owned as of yet. Strong signal, Gbit wired interface and the admin console is great.
Cons: none yet
Other Thoughts: I was previously using the Linksys WRT160N, which drops signal several times a day (that router was a nightmare. My WRT54G was a lot better). Linksys just lost a long time customer.

AWSOME
Pros: Awsome product. droped my ping from my old router 10ms THATS BEING HARD WIRED TO BOTH. GOING THROUGH WIRELESS I DROPED 30 MS. GOOD JOB WITH THIS ONE TRENDnet. I got mine on sale and i think i mind as well of stole it for the proformance.
Cons: IF you know what you are doing then you will have no problems with this one. i have 3 wireless network cameras on here and it is doing its job.
Other Thoughts: ps3 that is 4 houses down from me is picking up the router and can connect with my code. wow that is a long way down

It Just Works
Pros: Simple setup, straight forward web interface, FAST (1000mbps on LAN and WAN), Good wireless range and speed. Very informative status lights (green = 10/100Base-T and orange = 1000Base-T on wired interfaces).
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: Played with many wireless routers (D-Link DIR-655 being on of them), they all had lots of features, but the interfaces were complex making setup a pain. The web interface on this TRENDnet is very well layered and organized. It has controls for basic network setup and also for all the nitty-gritty network fine tuning (QoS, port forwarding, etc). Very impressed with wired network speed and reliable, consistent wireless access using WPA2.

great router bad manual
Pros: great router great WLAN gigabit ports relatively simple to use great install software packaged you can turn off the WLAN at any time with a a small switch on the side and much much more
Cons: bad manual if this is your first time setting up a router on your own get some aspirin before had other than the manual everything seems to work great
Other Thoughts: my recommendation: get someone that has set up a router before manually and have them help
estimated time of setup:<8; >4 hours

Great Value but Huge Flaw
Pros: Good router overall in terms of features and speed. Web UI is very nice and easy to configure. Connection to my ISP (DSL) was quite simple.
Cons: One huge flaw that makes this unusable for me is that devices cannot find each other by name. Yes, their names show up in the device list, but something like pinging each other by hostnames will not work. And I've looked through every setting. This probably won't affect you if you are not setting up a home server. Dynamic DNS is not effective. Use software like dyndns.
Other Thoughts: Someone else had problems with resolving DNS for internet domains. You have to check the Enable DNS Relay under Basic -> Network Settings. Bottom of the device gets really hot. So be cautious when touching it and try not to put it directly on top of other items, especially other electronic devices.

slow wireless speeds
Pros: Easy to setup, No dropped connections so far
Cons: I'm only getting 60 - 65 mbps connections with a new intel 5100 agn card from about 1 foot away. File transfer speeds across the lan seem to confirm that this router is pretty slow, getting only about 4.5MBps. My laptop has as intel 5100 card; a pretty standard wireless card. I tested in both ubuntu 9.04 and in windows vista, and got similar results.

So Far, So Good
Pros: Solid performance on both wired and wireless connections.
Cons: As others have mentioned, skip the Network Magic install, just use the CD for the users guide and the drivers. And be sure to upgrade the firmware from the Trendnet site, it fixes problems with the wired ports among other things.
You can easily access the web interface for the router, the address is 192.168.10.1, which the quick start guide doesn't tell you. User name is admin, and password is left blank.

Invasive Setup
Pros: This router sends a strong connection. It actually routes.
Cons: The setup CD is invasive and installs things on your default windows desktop you cannot get rid of. In addition, the default login via firefox is not 192.168.1.1. I have no idea what it is (I can't remember), and there is no helpful information on the knowledge base either. I'm pretty sure I threw the cr@p installation CD away as I did not want to |=uck up my Windows machine with it again.
Other Thoughts: I really wish I could have gotten a solid wireless router that just logged in as defaults:
192.168.1.1 admin admin
And had it work and be done with it. Whoever decided to alter these defaults at TrendNet is clearly an idiot.

Decent product with great service
Pros: Easy to understand web configuration interface. Full feature set at a great price. The auto setup utility was fairly intelligent and got everything running with reasonable default settings. Experts can go back in and tweak after the fact. Both of the units I have purchased are working fine and giving excellent range and performance in two very different environments. Desktops, laptops, netbooks, Ipod Touch, Wii and Wireless Access Point all working well with this unit in multi floor house and mixed 802.11g/n environment.
Cons: The installation disk installs Network Magic without asking. I was able to uninstall it right after getting the router running and all was working fine. I have nothing against Network Magic, but I expect to be asked or at least given the choice to opt out of a non-required software install.
Both units that I bought had defective LAN ports. One worked initially, then stopped working the next day leaving me with only wireless access. The other one had dead LAN ports out of the box and could not be configured. I googled this and nobody else was reporting this problem so I chalk it up to extremely bad luck and got replacement units as this model has received decent reviews and I decided to stick with it. I'm happy with my decision.
Other Thoughts: I would have given these units a lower rank than 5 out of 5 because of the problems I had with the wired LAN ports. However, the incredible service I got from Newegg turned what could have been a really bad experience into a wonderful one. I chatted online with a support person and within 10 minutes she had RMAs and shipping labels ready for me. I am a new customer and being from Canada, I was concerned about how the return policy might work if I got defective product. I am now confident that it is safe to order from Newegg and will continue to check their site for prices when I'm shopping in the future.

Horrible Product -- DO NOT BUY
Pros: None
Cons: DO NOT BUY THIS ROUTER!!!!!!! YOU WILL BE SORRY!!!!!
Other Thoughts: I am on my second router. It is doing the same thing as the first one. The problem is that it reboots itself while uploading files approximately > 2 MB.
At my expense, I returned my first router to them because I was about 2 days past my 30 day return policy with Newegg. It 2 days to get my router to them and 9 days to get back. The one I sent was my brand new and unmarked. The one they sent back to me was a refurbished scratched model. They didn't even include all of the parts.
Stick with Linksys. DO NOT BUY FROM TRENDNET!!!!!

Great Router. Easy Set Up.
Pros: This router was easy to set up. Whether you use the set up disk or your own expertise is up to you. My son, an avid gamer, says this router offers many options for port forwarding and other options. We replaced an old router that was dropping packets and had some other flaky things going on. Since we set this up for our network, we have not had one single problem. It found everything on the network with no issues. The price was very good, shipping was quick, and the combo deal with a Rosewill wireless N usb adapter came in handy.
Cons: None at all at this time.
Other Thoughts: Newegg is still head and shoulders above the competition when it comes to price, selection, and customer satisfaction.

Spot on
Pros: Highly reliable. Great signal coverage throughout house and to the outdoors. Price.
Cons: Poor documentation, including Trendnet's own site. Needs a bit of configuration to get the most out of it, but your on your own at least with regard to info from Trendnet. Luckily plenty of people have been there before you and posted.
Other Thoughts: Overall I have been extremely pleased with the performance of the router. I set it up nearly six months ago and have not had to touch it since. Some gear should just be invisible, requiring no babysitting. This fits the bill.

Great 300Mpbs Router!
Pros: Very fast router running at 270mbps - 300mbps.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Alot of people that reviewed this product seem to not be able to setup a router properly. With the right and simple configuration you can obtain 300mbps

Really happy with it.
Pros: - Gigabit LAN. - Up to 300mbs wireless. - Decent protection. - Decent range. - Great price. - Looks sleek.
Cons: - As with most wireless routers, range and speed are not as they advertise.
Other Thoughts: I'm sure some of my speed limitations is due to some lack tweaking. I currently get about 80mbs. DO NOT install their garbage "Network Magic" software. I recommend just using the browser for accessing the settings. Also, make sure you upgrade the firmware, as I was losing connection randomly a couple of times a day. After the firmware update, the problem is gone.

Decent Router
Pros: I bought this after I returned D-link DIR 655, which is very troublesome to set up and requires money to upgrade the software, plus I spent a whole evening and could not get my phone adapter to work. Compared to the D-link one, this setup is minimal and very simple. I got everything to work within minutes.
Cons: The time needs to be adjusted every time it is turned off and turned back on. It cannot save it! Thus the internet control function would be messed up if I forget to reset the time after reboot.

Poor wireless performance
Pros: As a wired router the Trendnet is fine. The UI is easy to use and it's full featured. Port forwarding, DHCP reservations and DNS forwarding all work.
Cons: The wireless performance is very poor. It's hard to connect to and I'm only getting 12Mb when connecting to it from 10 feet away. My old Dlink DIR-655 got 60Mb from that distance (I replaced the DLink because it's been crashing once a day).
The wireless enable is controlled by a switch instead of software, cheap slide switches are likely to break and it's a lot less convenient the standard approach of enabling it through the GUI.

Works Fine
Pros: Good price and Newegg deal came with Rosewill Wireless N adapter.
Cons: Since I was using this as both a switch and wireless router, I originally had some trouble with dropped packets and dropped connections. However, I flashed the router with the latest upgrade (new as of a month ago) and the problem with ethernet/wireless usability has disappeared.

Great so far
Pros: SUPER EASY to setup. No need to change the software, which worried me about other high rated routers that needed to be flashed. My hardwired computer is now faster than with the WRT54G. Looks cool, the stand works great, but I have to get used to the red (vs. green) lights. Signal is 3 out of 5 bars at farthest part of my 1/3 acre property.
Cons: No owners manual, although I don't know why it would be needed.
Other Thoughts: No improvement on wireless speed, probably due to not yet having N-capable laptop card.

Meh
Pros: Cheap, .11N
Cons: Firmware is already poorly out of date. I feel like I bought a cloaked Linksys ... Won't work with my Samsung blu-ray player's netflix abilities without having to turn it off and back on. Upon waking up my laptop the connection would go sluggish for the first minute...
Other Thoughts: The range is so-so, right now this collects dust in a box and will have the GB LAN put to use when my office space is ready.

Great router at a great price
Pros: It's fast, stable, flexible, and has pretty lights. Seriously, this may be the best wireless router I've owned, and I've been through all of the major brands and tried alternatives like dd-wrt. The wireless range is the best I've seen yet.
Cons: None, really. I mean, there are always tweaks that you'd like to see in the web interfaces from one brand to another (like being able to see the PC hostname listed in the list of active wireless connections instead of just the MAC) but the functionality is there, and tons of it.

defective
Pros: Tech support was easy to get on the phone.
Cons: Wireless functionality broke after 1 day. Hardware reset button didn't do anything. Tried flashing latest firmware... now router is completely unresponsive.
Other Thoughts: It's always hit or miss with wireless routers. Will try another one before moving on to a different vendor/model.

Great! Easy to use
Pros: Replaced a failing DGL-4300 with this unit... very simple setup, no issues at all. Great for beginners. Attractive glossy finish.
Cons: It would be nice if this unit had a web interface for setup as opposed to software.
Other Thoughts: Tends to get a bit hot.

Best Router Ever
Pros: Amazing router. Setup was simple - I just plugged it in and it worked. Never has lost connection or required me to restart it. Throughput is amazing - hardly lost any speed from input WAN to output LAN. Range is great too.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: This is the best router I've ever used. Buy it.

Great N router
Pros: Fast N/G router and easy to configure. Faster and more stable than the other N brand on the market. Great price under $80. Make sure to use the latest firmware from Trendnet, it is the best firmware than the previous versions.
Cons: I got a bad LAN port but the other three work fine. Trendnet product control is no good.
Other Thoughts: When you get your new TEW-633GR router, check the WAN and LAN ports. If you found any one port defactive, send it back and get another one.

Works great
Pros: Very Fast, strong signal, worth the money, makes sense when you are setting it up.
Cons: The installation CD is pretty lame and I had to go right to the users guide on the CD to get the good installation material. (Throw away the CD)
Other Thoughts: I'm very happy to switch away from Linksys (WRT54GS) . The Linksys worked well but this Trendnet router is a lot faster, has better signal, and still works with my Linksys WAP's.

Just bought my second TEW-633GR
Pros: I purchased a TEW-633GR about six months ago and have liked it so much I just bought another. Frankly, it has been difficult to find a decent router for years. It has been essentially been a junk market. Since the TEW-633GR is also a gigabit switch, I think it is an especially good deal at this price.
Cons: None that I have seen.
Other Thoughts: The TEW-633GR also can be set up as repeater ("bridge mode") for extending your wireless range. When I eventually replace my TEW-633GR's in perhaps 10 years, I am sure they will find use as repeaters. This is the type of long-term value that is rare in IT products.

Excellent router, well done TrendNet
Pros: Very easy setup - reset cable modem (Comcast), plugged in router, changed SSID and voila. Didn't need to run the install CD. Excellent range and signal strength - every computer in the house (3 PCs with G cards and 1 Mac) doubled its download speed via speedtest. My office is almost 100 feet from the router (through 4 walls) and I have full signal with no instability. Fairly simple GUI. Compact design.
Cons: None that I have encountered.
Other Thoughts: I don't have security enabled because I live in the woods and there are no houses nearby (though I'm curious if my neighbor can now pickup my signal), so I'm not sure about the router's performance in this area. I'm sure it's fine. I bought this router because my iMac was having trouble connecting to my old Linksys G router. Although the iMac connection is slower than to my Asus laptop, it is significantly better than with the Linksys router. Buying the TrendNET router was a far less clunky setup versus installing a repeater. Kudos.

Works Great! Remember 192.168.10.1
Pros: Simple to install and get up and running. Don't have to use the CD if you know semi-what you're doing. E.g. type in a MAC address. Took less than 5 minutes from unbox to wireless internet. My broadband speed tests jumped from 12Mbps to >20Mbps over wireless. Pages load very quickly. I was using a belkin G router before this and that one would pretty much cr*p out whenever I started a heavy download/bittorrent. So far, not a glitch. Just remember 192.168.10.1 (it's nowhere in the manual) to config (no password/login).
Cons: It's not free? No free shipping? Seriously, nothing so far.
Other Thoughts: Has cool and EASY TO SEE lights on the front so you can figure out what's going on at just a glance. Haven't set up QoS functions or anything advanced yet.

I LOVE IT
Pros: WOW!! was the install easy! I will never buy another Linksys router again.. Trendnet has it down!! Installed in seconds, and along with my xbox 360. I'm running a T1 connection, and this router doesn't slow any connection down.. super impressed.
Cons: I didn't find this great product sooner.

Eggcellent router
Pros: Firmware updated very easily (download from the website, plug in an ethernet cable, select the file, wait 40 seconds, bliss. All configuration settings were saved, instead of being deleted like most other routers) Very good range, I replaced a few other vendors commercial routers (granted, they were 5+ year old B/G) and instead of the 2-3 bars I got with the other routers with 4db antennas, I got an awesome full 5 bars. I had also had disconnects with the old routers, where a wireless client would occaisonally drop or lose connectivity (which sucked for the 5+ WoW players in the household), but with this either the signal strength carries it over, or the router's sheer awesomeness does the job. I use 2.4Ghz wireless phones in the house, and some of the other routers would reboot/drop clients when used. This baddie has the option to scan for whichever channel has the least interference, and use that one. I don't know how to recommend this router any higher than I have, it's just awesome
Cons: Shipped with fairly old firmware (may2008 or some such), but this was countered by the ease you could update the firmware (see above). Some implementations of WDS doesn't support WPA, only WEP (which is not necessarily a con for this router, my understanding is this is an industry wide problem, thus I didn't take off any eggs, just FYI). I'm kinda hard pressed to come up with cons... it wasn't free? my girlfriend threatened to elope with it? It doesn't go to work for me?
Other Thoughts: I've only had it for a few days, but it's solved all my wireless problems I had. It has good range (I haven't tested just how far, but it's good enough for me through 3 solid stories) and has great configurable security settings. If you know what you're doing, you can set this baddie up to be as secure as a small home wireless firewall/router can be.

Great setup
Pros: Great price with the package with TEW-621PC card; easy to setup; best speed up to date.
Got this setup 4 months ago, everything is working except the TEW-621PC card is not supported by Window-7. Without Window-7 driver, it loaded at speed G (54M) instead of 300Mbps
Cons: user interface not easy to use
Other Thoughts: The router works best with its own paired PC card (TEW-621PC, which always loaded itself at max speed of 300Mbps. Others loaded with variable speed.

Good item
Pros: Easy to set up. Very flexible. Wired gigabit is a bonus. Works well with consoles, iPhones, iTouch, wireless notebooks.
Cons: Could not connect WDS to TrendNet TEW-637AP.
Other Thoughts: Wireless networking in general is still harder than it should be.

So far so goo
Pros: No problems running G with my 2 work laptops and 1 personal laptop. The ethernet connection to my desktop is flying! On any given day we will be running all of these machines with no hiccups.
Cons: I tried the N with the N adaptor on my laptop and the speeds were lower than G. I am sure I am doing somehting wrong but have not had time to check into it,.

Works Great
Pros: The setup was easy, and the distance it can achieve is rather amazing. I can recieve a decent signal from 200-250ft away on my ipod touch. It also works great with mutiple computers and xboxs on at the same time. In addition, the speeds I can get with my wireless N usb card is really good. Only had a 1-2mb difference between a wireless and a ethernet connection.
Cons: None what so ever.
Other Thoughts: It feels rather light, but it holds up well and is better then the wireless gaming router ($100+) I previously was using. This router will not dissapoint.

TEW 633GR
Pros: 1-Great range compared to my Linksys wireless G 2-Mixed G-N wireless connection is possible without converting totally to one or the other (this is in contrast to Linksys and Netgear wireless N routers that you can NOT use both G and N bandwidth) 3- IP address assignment through the router (Saved IP) is possible, really cool feature, instead of headache of gong throught static IP assignment 4- Very easy set up without any software 5- Basic settings good enough for average home user
Cons: I still have a couple of dead spots that I do not have a signal, but that is no fault of the router (3 story house) and my router is in my basement
Other Thoughts: I baught the combo (with a PCMCIA wireless N card) that I have not used yet, great price for what you get. Sometimes it does not save the changes you have made to its configuration. For those people with dropped signal and frequent disconnection a firmware upgrade seems to be the answer.

Great Router!
Pros: Very fast! Easy setup. Large range. 200 Maximum Active Connections! Works great with the matching N Card (Trendnet 621PC)
Cons: None that I can really think of.
Other Thoughts: I bought this as a replacement for my "el cheapo" router that I blew up by having too many clients on it (most "base model" routers have a max active connections of 8). I don't have enough computers to do a full stress test, but I have put 22 simultaneous connections on it, a mix of wired and wireless, and they all were able to connect and talk to each other easily!

does the trick
Pros: Faster than my old D-Link wireless G (of course) with a much stronger signal (99% versus 72%). Max download speed (per speedtest.net) is 32mb/s straight from the modem; 19 mb/sec from my wireless G (using the LAN cable) and 29mb/s using the TRENDnet TEW-633GR. I bought this on a combo deal with the Rosewill RNX-EasyN1. Speedtest is 29mb/s using the EasyN1, same as LAN cable. They work great together.
Cons: none so far
Other Thoughts: I do quite a bit of online gaming. Always wanted my computer near my cable modem in order to maximize speed and minimize packet loss. Now I'm free to use my computer anywhere in the house for any application.

not so good
Pros: easy setup and good features
Cons: it drops the signal, every few minutes! I hate sending things back. only 1 egg because a wireless router needs to stay connected all of the time
Other Thoughts: made in Taiwan - i wish i could buy a router made in America

Excellent Router
Pros: Replaced a Linksys WRT54GL with this router mainly for the wider range and speeds N offers and for the gigabit LAN ports. All the laptops in the house went from 2 to 3 bars to a full, constant 5 bars with a constant throughput of 135 Mbps. The router has lots of features including its own auto QOS type service called Streamengine. We have a fairly high bandwidth connection to and from the internet so I just turn off all the QOS features. It is nice, though, knowing that it's there if it's ever needed for something like VoIP service or something. The web configuration is very straight forward and is also very quick to load when compared to other routers I have owned. The feature I like the most on this router is its auto wireless channel scan feature which will choose the wireless channel with the least interference.
Cons: So far, none.
I almost blamed it for a very strange issue I was having with a Windows 7 PC using the Rosewill USB N adapter that came with it, but it turns out it was a wrong setting on the PC. The problem was the throughput from the PC to the router was constantly changing and while playing online games, the ping would go from a steady 20 - 30 ms to a steady 500 - 1000 ms and then back down again and back up and so on. What caused this was the USB "Selective Suspending" setting in the advanced power settings menu being set to disabled. This needs to be set to enabled or very strange things will happen to your wireless USB connection.
Other Thoughts: Overall, I am very pleased with this router's speed, range, and reliability. It looks like a new firmware update came out last week, but I don't think I will need to apply it to my router, no need to. The fact that it came with a free Wireless N adapter made the deal even better. The Rosewill adapter works flawlessly with Windows 7 by the way.

Nice router. Easy setup.
Pros: Couldn't beat the price of this router. Bought it after reading various reviews. It was very easy to set up and we have not had one connection drop since we set up our network. We are very happy with this purchase. This is the 2nd TRENDnet product we have owned and both have performed perfectly at a better price than other brand name networking products.
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: Once again Newegg came through with a great combo deal and free shipping.

Great Product
Pros: Great speed, best range of all previously owned draft-n wireless routers (3 different routers), strong signal strength, relatively easy set-up.
Cons: Ran into a bit of a defect when installing as a new router on Vista 64, where the installer claimed it could not detect a wired connection. Easily worked-around by using the "replace a previous router" option.
Other Thoughts: I am thoroughly impressed by the range and signal strength on this router. Never before has my laptop and/or my PC received a full 5 bars of connection, despite being only 1 floor and a couple rooms away from the router location. If you're in the market for a new router, this one is a must-have.

Best router for your money
Pros: I bought this router after buying and returning a D-Link DIR-825 dual band router to replace a D-Link DI-624. The DIR-825 worked okay with a Sony Vaio T250/L laptop and an Acer Aspire One A150. But it did not work on either a wireless or wired basis with my Dell 630; it would take about a minute to connect to the internet and, once connected, it would take a minute to display the next screen. The range of the 5ghz band was not as good as 2.4 ghz. I called D-Link's customer support 3 times and had to speak with English-impaired foreign techs that were not helpful. D-Link's website is just as bad - the DIR-825 wasn't even listed in its knowledge base.
I decided to try the TEW-633GR after reading many of this website's reviews. Best thing I did. The setup was painless and took less than 5 minutes. It works well with every computer I have. If you are a novice or average user I highly recommend this product to you.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: As a new newegg customer, I highly recommend this webstore to all. Its prices are very competitive and delivery time is fantastic. If you are thinking about adding a wireless router or upgrading from a g to n band, think twice about whether you will really reap the benefits of the newer 2.4/5 ghz dual band routers. I've learned that products that try to be a jack of all trades usually are masters at none. If you really need the 5 ghz channel for gaming or HD, I would think about getting a dedicated media center product to hand this task.

VPN Nightmare
Pros: Fast gigabit switch, easy to setup.
Cons: Firewall has issues. I couldn't connect to my Company's VPN using my PC with Vista because, the ALG cannot handle some GRE packets due to some bug in the code. Router logs "Dropped GRE packet from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx as unable handle packet header".
I was able to workaround this issue by disabling all the ALGs, unchecked the Non-UDP/TCP/ICMP LAN session option and putting my PC with Vista on DMZ which lets me exposed to cyber attacks.
Other Thoughts: Does anybody know where I can download the GPL source code for this router? I could fix this issue myself if I had the source code.

This thing is a must have!
Pros: Got this beast at about 1pm, up and running with all devices connected by 1:30pm. The easiest setup I've ever done for a router, period. Just pop in the disc and it guides you through the setup flawlessly. A huge bonus if you have no idea how to set up wireless/wired networks. If you DO know how to set up wireless networks, it would go even faster. See below.
I bought this to replace my Netgear ProSafe VPN Firewall FVS318 (8 port 100mbps router), so I could connect some remote components in a new house without drilling holes everywhere to run CAT5 cables. Running a speedtest on www.speedtest.net I actually got higher readings - testing from the most remote corner of my yard (about 100 meters away) - the furthest I could get from the router!
If you don't use the PC/MAC based setup from the disc, and have some idea of what you are doing, the browser based setup is incredibly simple and quick. Options are clear and robust.
Cons: No "help" option for browser setup... I'd like more clear descriptions of what each of the numerous options are for (though it does warn of potential security risks). I have an excellent understanding of networking concepts, but this router has a glut of options that aren't well described.
If you aren't tech savvy, just use the wizards and forget the rest.
Other Thoughts: Bought this from Newegg along with the Rosewill RNX-EasyN1 USB Wireless-N dongle. They work flawlessly together and at a hard to beat price.
All software/hardware worked without any issue on Windows 7 RC1 (Build 7057) so I have no doubt they'll work on earlier versions, within reason.
Accidentally deleted my main computer's MAC address from the high security MAC address filtering and caused a bit of a problem. Resolved pretty easily by resetting the router and re-setting everything manually. Very easy to set up in manual, but if you don't make this mistake the wizards are fairly quick and painless. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ EVGA X58 3X SLI, Intel Core i7, Corsair Dominator 1600 DDR3, EVGA GeForce GTX280 1Gb SSC, 2x WD Raptor 150Gb, Cooler Master 432 HAF.

Solid connectivity
Pros: This unit replaced Li....s WAP, and Ne....r router. The interface is pretty user friendly. Found setting up easy and locked down the network by reserving IP's and limiting MAC addresses. I don't see many revisions of firmware on the web for this unit so I am hoping that it functions solidly for years to come. I bought this with another TRENDnet TEG-S80g for a gig combination that uses less energy. The wireless does b/g/n and I am able to get good performance using an Asus Eee PC 1000HE connecting at 300 MB/min. All item purchased through Newegg. The TRENDnet combo works great and would HIGHLY recommend!
Cons: None so far.

Really fast
Pros: Draft N really works. 130mbs with built-in Intel wireless N on my Dell Vostro 1700. I couldn't use the TrendNet wireless N card which was free when I placed the order because it was a PC card, and my Dell has the Express PC slot, so just for fun I installed the card in my old Inspiron 6000. Instant Draft N speed 270mbs. Really cool.
Cons: Took me around six hours to install! That's really my problem because it was the first wireless system I have done myself. Ran into a couple of roadblocks that I thought I couldn't fix, so I e-mailed TrendNet tech support. They did respond on the next business day, but by then I had figured out my problems.
Other Thoughts: I liked the speed so well I bought a second unit for my office. The card fit my HP Pavilion dv8000 no problem, and is working right now at 270mbs. My main issues on installation were finally solved when I went to the TrendNet websight and downloaded the full manual. I'm sure most of you already know how to address the router from 192.168.10.1, but I didn't. Once I was able to change a few settings following the instructions in the manual, I got it working really great. I'm not sure if I could change something in the Intel receiver to make it work at 270 instead of 130, but for now 130 is plenty fast enough for streaming video and general network use.

Awesome Router
Pros: Easy setup, Wireless N, great signal strength
Cons: none....yet
Other Thoughts: i finally left the Linksys bandwagon and purchased a different brand router after mine crapped out a couple Sundays ago. i first went with a Netgear DualBand Wireless N router with cost me $130 from BB. That was a piece of junk. i work on Computers for a living and someone at work recommended this company. i decided to try it after i realized NetGear had nothing but disappointments for me. this router was awesome. easy to setup, has great signal through out my villa. i have this plugged up to my Xbox 360 and my Direct Tv. while running the wireless to 3 laptops and 1 desktop and a iphone. we run atleast 2 laptops all the time while i playing Xbox Live with no lag what so ever. i even have been getting Host in Gears of War 2 alot. even though i have only had this router for little over a week i have been highly satisfied. i do not really like the free software that comes with it, soon as i installed it, it said i had a update and after doing so it wanted me to purchase it.

Not the cheapest, easily the better
Pros: Boosts the G band better than I had hoped on those far away computers I haven't adapted to N yet (1-2 bars are now 4-5). On those I have adapted to N, the speed and connection is so sweet. I sailed the CD across the room as soon as I opened the web-based setup page - nor bothered with the wizard, just set the SSID and encryption settings and the router has worked ever since without flaw. Easiest router setup I ever saw (I was almost disappointed how little I had to use my "skills"), with the only slightly confusing setting being port-forwarding labeled as "Gaming" - but not really that confusing when one thinks about it, as that is what PFing is usually used for... and it is the easiest port-forwarding tool I have ever used, too. The fact this router instantly recognized and named every computer connected was a pleasant shocker - in-house file sharing went from hit-and-miss frustration to instant gratification. No more guessing which 192.x.x.x address is for which computer! Great!
Cons: None yet
Other Thoughts: The three antennae are on the side, not the back - makes sense as they wouldn't easily fit on the back of this slimline design. Still, a little weird if you are used to them sticking out the back and might influence the physical desktop placement of the router, as it did for me. No con, only a consideration for a rare few.

GET IT
Pros: Blows D-Link and Linksys out of the water. I live in an underground house with 8 inch thick concrete exterior walls and 6 inch thick interior walls. When it is setup correctly it has amazing range and speed. With the signal going though 2 interior walls and 1 exterior wall I can be at my pool a good 75 feet away and still have 4 bars on a Vista laptop, a computer in the house with 2 interior walls and under a desk running Windows 7 matched with a TRENDnet TEW-623PI and it has 5 bars, and the wired connection is running at 1 GB with medium traffic for a home office. I have had both D-link and Linksys and neither had the range or speed.
Cons: None!!!
Other Thoughts: If you know what you are doing it is a breeze to set up without the disk.

**Update** Looks great, if you have PC Card anymore
Pros: wireless N if I could use it.
Cons: Express card that no one has adopted. Adapters cost as much as the card itself.
Other Thoughts: Haven't had a chance to try the express card version -> TEW-642EC because NewEgg doesn't sell it! Come on guys you, hardly have any express card wireless n adapters available. The pc express standard came into being in 2006 for almost every laptop manufacturer, make them available. The bundled 'free" value is the same as buying new online elsewhere - just make them available so people have the option of pc card or express card.....

Solid Wireless Router
Pros: Functionally, it was easy to set up, and no computer I've had visit my home-office has had any issue connecting. I don't have much to say because it just keeps everything connected like a wireless router should. I happily ignore it and haven't had a single issue with it in the months I've owned it.
Physically it's small, attractive, stands vertical or lays horizontal.
New Egg rocks as always. Buy with complete confidence.
Cons: The range inside the 100 year old Victorian house I live in is about 50 feet, but I can't tell if it's the router or these old, thick walls.
Other Thoughts: I've never had a router which had an actual range inside a building that was as large as that listed on the packaging.

Works Great for most, but not Reverse Proxy
Pros: Gigabit WAN and router ports, fast install without CD, most things intuitive in menus, looks nice. Replacing a Linksys WRT54G.
Cons: Issues with intermittent disconnects in Skype and X-Fire. Can not VPN into work using Reverse Proxy Server. Have submitted tickets to tech support with the assurance they would be answered within a business day, but waiting with no answer or response. Disappointing support.
Other Thoughts: Over-all a good router. Just read the reviews and judge for yourself if it will meet your needs.

Notice to future buyers!
Pros: Wireless N with external antennas provide optimal coverage.
Cons: Not dual band like it's older brother, the 672GR.
Other Thoughts: The review that said he doesn't see a difference between this and the 672GR router obviously didn't read the products specifications. The 672GR is a dual band version of this router. That means it runs on both, yes BOTH, 2.4GHz and 5GHz. Only Wireless A and N go on 5GHz, while wireless B and G stay on 2.4GHz. Please note that A and N can NOT run on both 2.4GHz AND 5GHz. A only runs on 5GHz, while N must be set for either 5GHz OR 2.4GHz. Hopefully I cleared up some peoples questions and/or concerns. The 672GR is available on Newegg here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833156240

Now THAT's how the router is supposed to be!
Pros: Summary: Every single function - works! 1. You know how on any other router you ever came across: you click DHCP List of clients and it would either be incomplete or emtpy? Well, as soon as you connect a client to this router or switch, it shows up! IP address, MACID, NetBIOS name and all!! Impressive!
2. Remote management (WAN) works as well, can even select port number to use! WAN management is very fast also. Managed it from my house as fast as if I were next to it.
3. Wireless range is impressive, definitely better than b/g - I expected improvement, over b/g but not this much!!!
4. TrendNet really gave us what we wanted on this one. VPN - flawless. MAC list, flawless, Tunneling, STATIC IPs, DHCP, WPA1/2, WEP40/128, nice!
Cons: Not a single one. I hope they discontinue it's cousin, the 672GR - because this model is so much better.
Other Thoughts: I tried the 633GR and 672GR. Both work well, although 633GR works as promised. 672 still has some problems they need to work out. Other than that - I don't see the difference between the two.

Good router
Pros: I've been using this router for past three weeks, I'm very satisfied with its performance!
Cons: Reasons for giving only 4 eggs: 1. User interface is not great. I read somewhere in the reviews that this router does not allow to change its default IP, it is not true, we can do it...however, after changing the IP, you have to save the settings and then configure dhcp settings (I spent around 10 mins to figure this out). 2. After some change in settings like enabling/disabling upnp , the router need to be rebooted, if u want ur router to be active 24/7...this might be a drawback!

Easy Switch for home owner
Pros: Simple and fast! Four gigabit lan ports, Wireless n + wireless g. Super simple replacement for a 3 years old Linksys WRT54G unit. Followed the super simple instructions. Really, follow the CD, works amazingly well, you might run into trouble over thinking it! Better wireless G speeds through out house, the encryption works with a Zonenet WiFi Webcam (never did with Linksys)
Cons: does not have pretty charts of bandwidth usage
Other Thoughts: I would recommend this to anyone looking to boost their existing setup. I have 3 pcs, 3 laptops, roku, ReplayTV, wii all hooked in and it works great

Finally a router that works!
Pros: Great Device! I have over the years had many wireless routers and all of them required some sort of intervention on my part throughout its life cycle. I purchase this guy in December of 08 mainly because it had such high ratings on newegg. The people were spot on with this device. I have logged into it 1 time and that was during the initial setup. I run my xbox, media center pc, iphones, multiple home systems and vontage through this router without any problems at all. In fact I have never even had to reboot it since the initial setup. It has great features, easy to use, it's nice to look at and incredibly stable.
Cons: none as of yet

Solid design, good performance
Pros: Easy set-up, good coverage, reliable so far.
Cons: Some configuration options are hard to find in the web interface, less printed documentation than average (for example, the router's default IP address is only listed under "Troubleshooting", nowhere else).
Other Thoughts: I have owned and used D-link, Linksys, SMD, and Netgear routers, switches, and access points over the years; this model is on a par with any of them in terms of capabilities. I have 4 computers and 3 other wireless devices on my home network, and this unit seamlessly brought them all on-line with no glitches. I never use the installation disks that come with things like this, (because they're Windows-centric, and I don't do Windows....), but setup was straightforward. The built-in "wizards" would be useful for those that need guidance during setup. I particularly like that the setup procedure wants to change the SSID and password right away, something that people too often ignore.

good range, great options, good price
Pros: The range is good for a large home or small business, by itself. The options are a bit technical, but as long as you have a little network knowledge the set up is easy enough to get through. I bought this for it's wide range of control without having to buy a high level roughter (so that I can keep people off my connection that I don't want), and this is filling the roll better then I expected.
Cons: Not for someone who has no experience with roughters. It would have been nice to be able to mount it on a wall.

Came quick and Works
Pros: Works as advertized, Easy to setup without the mickey mouse software. Lots of features. Combo came with a free notebook card.
Cons: Case seems a little cheap as there is a gap between the two halves.

Great 802.11N Router
Pros: 1. Range - I can work anywhere in my house or yard. 2. Performance - I have two desktops a laptop, an XBox, a PS3 and an IPhone, they can all be on line with no performane issues. 3. Speed - I get a constant 300Mbps (see other toughts)
Cons: None really. If you're not very technically knowledgable, I would just recomend you take you time when you do the initial set up.
Other Thoughts: In order to get the best peformance - you need to do two things: 1. Get a good 802.11N wireless adapter - I bought 3 Encore 802.11N adapters (from newegg) for 19.99 each! 2. Once you've set up you router, select Manage Device=>Advanced Wireless=>Set bndwith to 40Mhz * Make sure your router is in a well ventilated area, as it will get warmer at this setting.
