Awesome fan!
Pros: Super quiet! No lights! I love the little rubber mounts they provide.
Cons: The only thing that could improve it is to package a molex adapter for power.
Other Thoughts: This is what a fan should be - something you don't notice.

Awesome BUT!
Pros: Good air flow with VERY GOOD LOW NOISE. Super Nice!
Cons: One of the 2 fans I ordered wasnt made right, the fan blades where clicking against one of the walls. I just took some extra fine grit sand paper and left it inside the fan for a min, problem solved. (deducted 1 egg for that). Also the paint seems very thin and easy to scratch. Clear plastic under neath the paint.
Other Thoughts: These fans are awesome, besides that very minor problem with one of them, I highly recommend them to anyone who needs air and silence at the same time.

WORTH IT....
Pros: If you are looking for a quiet fan... here it is! Silicon mounts work great to elimnate rattle or any case noise. It does come with screws too, but I chose the silicon mounting method. I put 2 of them in my case and you cant even tell they are on.
Cons: Didn't come with a little SilenX sticker to stick on the outside of my case...
Other Thoughts: Airflow is good, not amazing, but considering the noise level i so low it is a good comprimise. I put 2 fans in to get more flow.

Newegg rocks!
Pros: Awesome fans. Don't know why I didn't buy these earlier. They are dead quiet. The only noise coming out of my case is the sound of my hard drives. I bought two to replace my original single case fan as these don't move a lot of air. Highly recommended!
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: About the only thing that would make my case quieter would be solid state hard drives. Did not use the included rubber silicon feet as the fans would not fit in the mounts with them installed. Not using them made absolutely no difference in my circumstances.

Pros: Super quiet moves sufficient air for a HTPC
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: Rubber screws are a nice touch. Very happy with this fan.

Very quiet
Pros: Near silent.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: This fan runs 24/7 cooling a UPS in my bedroom. Can easily sleep with this thing running. Doesn't move a whole lot of air, but that's the trade-off

Pros: Just as quiet as a high quality 120mm. They work perfectly.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: Thx Newegg.

Pros: Using 3 of these fans for almost a year now (2 rear, one side intake), and absolutely love them - super quiet, no heat issues despite minor overclocking an AMD 6400 x2 and a 9800GT.
Cons: Need to use the silicone pull-plugs to get maximum sound decrease, and they barely stretch enough to get the grill on also. Wires are a bit short, so you have to unplug the fan to take the side of the case off if using as an intake.

awesome
Pros: super quiet, can barely hear anything easy to install
Cons: none yet
Other Thoughts: so far so good. way better than my old silverstone fan. using it as a CPU fan and it works great.

Totally Impressed
Pros: These things do what they are made for. They move air very very quietly. I have 3 of these and 2 of the 120mm in my home server.
Cons: Not really a con if you know going in that these things aren't going to move a massive amount of air. I wouldn't reccomend for someone to use in a massive gaming computer, however I think they would be great in any other capacity.
Other Thoughts: Before installation I had a couple enermax fans installed. I had to close the door at night just to avoid the white noise. I used the included rubber mounts and these things are impressive. Very quiet, I actually hear the hard drives (one of them anyway) over the fans. Don't have to worry about closing the door any more either.

Nice when they work
Pros: Very quiet, low profile, good airflow
Cons: Low profile means some things meant to accept "standard" 80mm are too big to hold this fan snugly
Other Thoughts: One of the two I bought started grinding less than a week after installation. The other one has been running for several months without issue though.

quiet, simple, good
Pros: Very quiet, silicone mounting pegs
Cons: Not a lot of air being sucked through, but that's the trade off for silence
Other Thoughts: Have a case that was too loud so I replaced all the outtake fans with these. I can actually hear my hard drives over my case fans now.

I'm a big fan...
Pros: Unlike most fans that are quiet because of low RPM, this fan actually moves a decent amount of air at a decent RPM without making any noise. It is quality
Cons: Higher price than a typical 80mm fan. The color is an odd dark rust/gold color that is sort of a put off. Good thing it is inside my case where I don't have to see it.
Other Thoughts: Pay a few extra bucks for the extra quiet this fan will provide to you. I'm going to get another one for my media PC.

Amazing Fans. Worth 5 times cost.
Pros: These are the quietest fans I've ever seen. I've had at least 1 computer next to me all day most days for the last 15 years. Oh how I wish they all had these fans.
Really. You cannot hear these fans. You will not know whether your machine is running unless you really really listen.
Replace all the fans in your box with these now and you will thank yourself.
Easy to install. The silicon screws are awesome.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: I hope this company starts making fans for CPUs and Graphics cards.
I bought too many by accident but sold the extras to a friend of mine. He was also shocked how quiet they are.

Nice, if a bit pricey
Pros: Quiet. Comes with soft mounts (and screws). Cable is a good length. I consider the fluid bearing a good feature.
Cons: None, unless the gold color bothers you.
Other Thoughts: Not *quite* as quiet as the Scythe Kaze slim 100mm fan (got them at the same time), which is rated 5.5 db louder.
Cable is very thin, feeling almost fragile, and the four-pin to fan adapter has a bare pin on the fan side.
Decent air movement for size and sound rating.

Works as advertised
Pros: Very, very quiet.
Cons: Not built to last, I guess. Also, silicon screws are a great idea, but ones that ship with this fan do not seen to be able to hold the fan firmly in place - I worry that after some time the fan might detach itself and fall on my graphics card.... It is probably a better idea to use the regular screws... just in case.
Other Thoughts: My PC was VERY noisy, mainly due to the fact that 80mm fans that came with my case were of very low quality. I have two SilenX fans now and can't hear them, but now everything else seems to be the problem. Probably will need to replace CPU and GPU fans now...

Fantastic
Pros: Whisper quiet. I think I can hear it if I lean right next to it, but I'm not sure if that's this fan or if that's the other older fans drowning it out.
Cons: A little pricey. Just a little.
Other Thoughts: You are free to stab me for the above pun.

Love these fans
Pros: SILENT. Also come with silicone mounting, uh, thinggies.
Cons: Kinda expensive, but worth it.
Other Thoughts: I love these fans. I've been using Silenx fans for a while and just put four in a new case. Some people say they have low airflow. Well, that's why you put four of them in (: I can't even hear them. My case is steady at 30c. I did an all-night-high-load test and it got to 35c. No noise!
I personally love the silicone mounts, but they can be a bit hard to get at. The fan comes with screws, too.

Frighteningly quiet
Pros: Incredibly quiet.
Cons: Now my CPU fan bothers me.
Other Thoughts: I wanted a fan that made as little noise as possible. I can't even hear this one if I strain my ears. It doesn't move the most air in the world, but it moves enough for my needs.

Very quiet but not much air movement
Pros: Very quiet.
Cons: Doesn't move that much air.
Other Thoughts: I was experimenting with different brands of fans and this one was quiet but it didn't move very much air. I needed more since I had a video card wihout a cooling fan. Ended up with another Noctua fan.

quiet
Pros: very quiet, silent even. cool design, pun intended.
Cons: the color is weird... not sure if its really a bad thing though? kind of a bronze color
Other Thoughts: people who give these fans bad reviews saying they are loud need to just be ignored... i mean, are they saying it's loud just because they can hear the fan when they hold it an INCH from their ear? come on.

Near Silent
Pros: Reliable, oh so quiet, and standard size/mountings
Cons: just the high price.
Other Thoughts: If total radient noice is your largest concern these fans are oh so worth the high cost.

I never know my PSU was so noisy
Pros: Silent, even at full RPM. I never know how noisy my hard drives and PSU fan was until I installed these. If you buy them, make sure you replace EVERY FAN in your system, because the ones you don't, which seems quiet enough before, replace will drive you nuts now.
Cons: Variable air flow is controlled by the 3-pin MB connection. If you don't have one, it comes with a converter to plug into a molex (HD) power cable, but it then runs as full speed. This is only a very small con, however, since it's dead silent even at full speed.
Other Thoughts: It comes with silicon mounts that you can use instead of fan screws (it has screws as well, just in case). You have to pull them through the screw holes of both the case and the fan, and it really seems like they'll break, but they don't. However, I've had plenty of dead-silent fans that use the regular ol' metal screws, so I suspect the special mounts came from the marketing department rather than the engineering department.

Just...Wow!
Pros: Quiet, comes with silicone screws.
Cons: Was afraid I was going to rip the silicone screws during installation but didn't.
Other Thoughts: Wife has been complaining of PC noise so this decision was done to fix that.
At first the price delayed my purchasing these. I looked around and then figured that if I buy any other fan, and it's not as quiet as this then I'll have to come back and buy this fan anyways. I bought 3 to replace all fans in my case.
The gold color doesn't do anything for me, all 3 fans are difficult to see anyways with the case on.
Between these, the 80+ PSU and new CPU fan wife shouldn't have any complaining. Both her AND the computer will be silent :p

Silenx IXP-54-09 80mm
Pros: Dead silent. I have three on my case, and the CPU fan inside the case makes more noise than all three.
Cons: Price, low air flow. My box doesn't get that hot, so low CFM isn't a big deal.
Other Thoughts: These are great for quiet fans, but you pay the price in flow rate.

It's true - crazy silent
Pros: These things are dead-silent. It's crazy how quiet they are. However, you do pay for it in CFM, although it's not too bad considering. If you're looking for a high-quality fan for your quiet rig, I can recommend this.
Cons: There's a reason these aren't $1.50 commodity fans. You'll pay the price.
Other Thoughts: Bought 2 of them, very unique fin design.

As quiet as it gets
Pros: Having a silent fanless Silverstone PSU in the machine I installed it in, this fan and my 7200 rpm Western Digital Caviar hard drive were the only two things with moving parts when I tested the fan to see how much noise it made. I listened carefully, and the fan seemed to make less than half the idle spinning noise of the hard drive. Trust me, that's pretty quiet!
The fan is also beautiful! It has nice smooth gold paint all over it...too bad it's concealed within my case :-P
Cons: It is quite expensive for being just an 80mm fan. But if you want the best, you'll need to dish out a bit more money, right?
Other Thoughts: I use this fan to cool my 35-Watt Intel Celeron 430 in my personal file server/seedbox, which sits near where I sleep (hence that I need it to be quiet). This fan replaced the cheap, noisy stock fan on a Cooler Master 92mm Sleeve X Dream 4 heatsink (which is actually not a bad heatsink; at least the design of the fan mounting allows you to detach and replace the fan, lol). Now I have an ultra-quiet heatsink that's still cool to the touch when I run the CPU at stock voltage and frequency.

Not Silent
Pros: Is a fan...
Cons: So, it's no where near 9db. Really, if you have sensitive hearing, you will hear this thing. Also vibrates my case like a washing machine even with the rubber mounting things. ok, thats hyperbole but it does create noticable vibration. I was expecting WAY more for such a high price.
Other Thoughts: The one 80mm position is still the loudest in my case. The only way to get lower noise is to go 120mm and undervolt. Also, the price was lower at my local retail store.

Pros: VERY quiet. Completely silent.
Cons: (1) Price. (2) This fan is quiet for several reasons, one of them being: It doesn't move much air. (Fan blades spin very slowly)
Other Thoughts: If you want a quiet computer AND your case doesn't have a fan speed control knob, get some (a lot) of these fans. Otherwise, you are better off getting cheaper fans and just turning their speed down.

It's OK
Pros: It's quieter than the stock fan. Keeps the HD cooler by 15C and helps air move through the case.
Cons: Still the loudest fan in the case. Not as silent as they would have you believe. Price too high for what you get.
Other Thoughts: The other fans controlled by Qfan on Asus MB, no control for this one.

Dead silent
Pros: One of the quietest fans I've come across. Almost totally silent, perfect if your case doesn't require excessive cooling. Of course, this would make an excellent addition to any existing silent setup.

Reasonably quiet for an additional fan
Pros: Generally low noise -- there's no whine, no rush of air. It does a good job drawing the heat away from my 3ware raid controller.
Cons: Mounted on the side panel of my CoolerMaster Stacker Classic (snap-in mount on the case panel), it had some low-frequency harmonics that transferred right to the case. Curiously, a thump to the side of the case resolved it.
Other Thoughts: I have a couple more of these that I'll probably add as intakes at the bottom of the case, assuming I can keep the vibration down. The silicone mounts should help with that.

Awesome FAN
Pros: Awesome fan!!! I am buying 10 of these (80mm and 92mm) for all the machines in my office. At first I was skeptical because the fan was spinning slower (it is practically noiseless). When I checked the status on the sensors – it works great. The temperature of the CPU and MB is about 28-30 ºC (82-86 ºF) for a dual core 5200 AMD. I can’t ask for more. The loudest device in the office is the small fridge (which I will through away, probably).
Cons: NONE!!!

The quietest system fan I have ever owned
Pros: 9 dba!
comes with 4 silicon-composite fan mounts (screw replacements) to dampen vibration - just pull these little puppies in place with pliers or your fingers
Cons: Expensive for just a case fan

If you have to have an 80mm, this is a good choice.
Pros: - Supremely silent. - Looks awesome.
Cons: - Doesn't move a lot of air.
Other Thoughts: My main case fans are the fantastic 120mm Scythe S-Flex. My CPU fan is the same. My GPU fan is a 92mm SilenX. Larger = same airflow with less noise.
Unfortunately, I do have an 80mm chimney opening (should have read the specs more carefully). The issue with the chimney is it's location. Since it's on top it's the most audible.
I am extremely picky about noise. My computer is practically inaudible unless there is a lot of drive activity or you put your ear up to it. Anything over 10 db gives me hives. This fan works for me.
Quoting DOA: "Negg sells a very similiar Enermax fan for five to six bucks that offers approx 4 more CFM (20 vs 24 cfm) at a loss of 5 dB (9 vs 14 dB). "
Unless my memory is off: - 24 vs 20 CFM is 20% more airflow. - 14 db vs 9 db, on the other hand, is 166% more (almost three times as loud). I'll stick with the SilenX.

Silent!
Pros: So quiet, you have to put your ear right on it to see if it's even spinning. Moves plenty of air for a quiet application.
Cons: Expensive.

First one DOA...
Pros: Very quiet, near silent. Sexy looking blades. Excellent packaging.
Cons: First one was completely DOA. Tried on different power connectors, played with the soldering points on the motor (to see if they were loose, etc) - couldn't make it do anything. Plugged other fans into same power ports and they spun just fine. RMA'd. Negg sent a new one that is working fine.
Other Thoughts: Pretty pricey (esp including RMA s/h). Negg sells a very similiar Enermax fan for five to six bucks that offers approx 4 more CFM (20 vs 24 cfm) at a loss of 5 dB (9 vs 14 dB). I bought this SilenX to see how it compared to those... I'll be sticking with the Enermax. They're a tiny tad louder, but 33% the cost and push a tiny tad more air.

Does the trick
Pros: Very quiet and surprisingly easy to install.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: Replaced the "Dynex" (BeastBuy house brand) jet engine I mistakenly installed in my system...vast improvement.

Silent even in the dead of night
Pros: It really does sound like it's at 9 dBA since when I isolated it from my system during the night, the chirping crickets outside were drowning it out. I like the silicon
Cons: When I tried the mounting screws before the silicon mounts, I heard the plastic creaking a bit, but if you use the preferable silicon mounts, that's irrelevant. Airflow is at the low end of my comfort zone, but for 9 dBA, that's more than understandable.
Other Thoughts: Installing with the silicon mounts can be rather hard depending on your case's architecture and which fan(s) you're replacing. Pulling on them like the instructions suggest was impossible for me since the fans were between a tight internal 3.5 bay. There are conventional mounting screws, but I pushed them hard enough to get them in.

Incredible, Amazing, Blown Away
Pros: I've never been big on reducing my computer's noise, infact I always just left the fans that came with the case in there. I'm really just blown away with these. In my Sunbeam Transformer case I put 2 of these, along with 3 80mm also low db. My computer used to sound like a lawn mower, but now its so quiet that my ceiling fan is the loudest thing in the room. I haven't heard a hard drive's clicking in years, but now its so quiet I can ever hear that.
Cons: The only con I could possibly think of is the price, but its just so worth it that it really isn't. You get what you pay for.
Other Thoughts: These things definetly move enough air. Today in New York City it was 90 degrees and humid, my new system with these fans idles at 22C paired with my Zalman 9700, hard drives are staying cool as is everything else. They definetly get the job done.

Big improvement!
Pros: Extremely quiet compared to older Antec fans that came with computer originally. Wife had a hard time telling computer was on, the loudest sound is the hard drive now...
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: Best upgrade I have made for the money.
