Very Nice
Pros: Very full sound, especially for the price.
Cons: No match for the boy's Klipsch 2.1 set, but those cost twice as much.
Other Thoughts: Happy with my purchase.

Who let the bass out?
Pros: Hey it works, sounds nice too.
Cons: There must be too much lead in the water, cause I'm a victim of bass poisoning!! Seriously though, WAY too much base, like whoah.
Other Thoughts: I turn the base all the way down, and it sounds normal. Sigh...

Great Speakers!
Pros: Really great sound! Far deeper bass response than I would expect, and really clear mids and highs. Shielded cables prevent interference from monitors, PSUs etc. Love the remote! It allows for sound control from a distance without needing a PC remote.
Cons: Almost too much bass. Although thats an easy fix, just adjust the bass down with the remote, or through your sound config.
Other Thoughts: Seriously these speakers sound great. They will distort if you have the bass turned too high, but all speakers will do that! I use these on a PC for gaming, music, and watching movies, and once you get the levels adjusted they literally shake the walls! I don't know what some of the other reviewers expect, but these really let me enjoy every sound out of my computer! If you are just looking for good all around speakers for a low price you simply cant go wrong with these. I got lucky and caught them on a "shell shocker" deal but knowing how good they sound they are worth the regular price for sure!

Good sound for the money
Pros: Good sounding speakers that are well made and look stylish. Loud, Nice remote
Cons: Tone is tricky to set. The subwoofer is also used for midrange so adjustments change the whole tonal range.
Other Thoughts: Not for hardcore audiophiles. Excellent speakers for a stereo TV if you don't need a surround sound system. I hooked it up to my cell phone and music sounded fine. A great value for the $$$$

Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Perfect for a small room....

I love these speakers!
Pros: They sound great! After installing them I started playing a video game and immediately noticed sounds I had never heard before...
They are small and look kinda cool. TONS of bass, I had to immediately turn the bass down --- although it is fun to sometimes crank it up when listening to some music.
They are great for music, video games and watching movies/tv/videos.
Cons: I didn't get them sooner...
You can only adjust the bass and treble on the remote.
Other Thoughts: For a reasonal price you get a great 2.1 speaker setup.

Excellent value, durable
Pros: This is a great set of speakers. I have owned mine for over 4 years, with zero problems.
The remote works great, with plenty of range. I use it almost every day when watching movies & TV on my PC from across the room. I have yet to use up the included battery.
Stereo imaging is great, even with a non-optimal setup - and I'd bet most of us don't have a room to dedicate to a "perfect" stereo configuration. 35W may not seem like a lot of power, but I have never had a problem with these speakers not being loud enough or distorting.
Sound is very clear through headphones plugged into the right speaker. No background hum or other unwanted noise, whether using a sound card or motherboard sound device as the input.
Cons: The power control isn't great. You have to press the two volume buttons on the right speaker at the same time, which is just about impossible with one hand. Of course, you could use the remote instead.
The headphone jack is located almost on the back of the right speaker, not a very convenient location. But, these are minor gripes on a wonderful set of speakers.
Other Thoughts: These also work great with a console game system. You can have something plugged into the RCA jacks on the back of the subwoofer & also have it hooked up to another sound source via the 1/8" stereo plug. Really nice if you have both your PC and a console hooked up to the same monitor.
I just wish I had bought mine at Newegg, because I paid much more in 2005 for the same thing.

Pretty Good Speakers
Pros: Good sound, Bass and Trebels Controls, Remote!
Cons: Good but not great sound quality
Other Thoughts: It is very hard to find computer speakers with a wireless remote so for that alone these are great speakers. They also have good sound quality although sometimes watching a movie dialogue isnt as full as it could be. On sale for 40 bucks now, tempted to buy a second set!

Bargain buy
Pros: Great quality for 2.1, powerful amp, remote included.
After purchasing these I'm beginning to hear sounds I didn't know even existed. These speakers can pack a real punch with they're volume potential. I'm not an audiophile myself, not yet anyway, but I think when speakers begin to shake your house, and can still be cranked higher, that may possibly mean they're pretty strong.
Cons: No display to verify how high settings are on sub woofer, or treble while adjusting. The sub woofer is also a little too powerful, for when I'm trying to watch something late at night, it still has minimal vibration, and may disturb someone in a nearby room. But, I do have paper thin walls.
Other Thoughts: I've only had these speakers for a few days, but I'm still satisfied with my purchase. This is the first time I've written a review after all the stuff I've purchased on newegg. I thought the speakers were a little too gimmicky, but that's pretty easy to get used to. This description was written while I still have a factory sound card installed, I'm expecting a new one today.

Altec Lansing VS4221
Pros: Good satellite speakers and bass (once turned down a bit). Great for my apartment living room. They can get really loud. The speaker set matches my entertainment setup and look nice. Great price for a good speaker set.
Cons: The sub seems like it is larger than it should be, this isn't a huge deal it just takes up a lot of space. The remote is really small, so I can see the potential to lose it.
Other Thoughts: None.

Loud, good enough for me
Pros: It gets loud enough for my little apartment. Actually I never put it up past probably half. The set looks nice and the sound quality is good enough for me, a non-audiophile.
Cons: The remote is tiny, hard to lose and essential for changing the bass and treble settings. That's right if you lose it you cannot change the settings with any firmware. I've yet to have that problem but if this is potentially something for you then I'd stay away.
Other Thoughts: none

VG speakers for the money
Pros: Very good sound (clear highs and midrange) for the money. Nice small remote. Like the standby mode which allows you to turn speakers off from remote.
Cons: Slightly muddy bass if set too high, but to be expected in this price range.
Other Thoughts: Surprisingly good sound for small, realitively inexpensive speakers. Very clear highs and midrange. A little muddy bass, but you can control it by setting it more towards the low end. Games sound very good with these.. I didn't expect such good clarity...nice surprise.

good for the price
Pros: Decent style and decent sound @ a decent price.
Cons: I would prefer a wired control station over the remote. Oh well, I guess you can't have everything for $70.
Other Thoughts: For those that don't know: if you lose your remote press the +/- buttons simultaneously to turn on/off.

Went back to my old speakers
Pros: Well built. Nice looking. Easy setup.
Cons: Poor sound quality.
Other Thoughts: I got these because they were one of the few speakers with a larger mid/midbass driver. I was hoping that this would allow for a lower crossover point (more sound information from the satellites and less from the sub). However, this is not the case. The end result is very boomy bass and an overall unbalanced sound. Even spoken word sounds boomy and is hard to discern. I actually went back to an older 2.0 set of Altec speakers that look much worse but sound 10x better.

Meh from below
Pros: No more cracking. The remote is nice when I am watching movies on my computer. Sound quality is decent now that I have a working set.
Cons: none really, except I had to RMA the first set.
Other Thoughts: I prefer the trebble turned up three notches and the bass down three.

Good Speakers, Great Quality
Pros: I purchased these speakers almost two years ago for about $125 in store and they still run excellent. The satellites produce good clean high and mids, and the bass is substantial enough for music and gaming. More over, these speakers have taken a pretty good trashing for two years of use... the satellites have fallen off my desk, cords plugged in to the sub have been jerked out, just everyday accidents like these put the Altec Lansing speakers to the test, and they passed. But not with flying colors (see Cons).
Cons: Like many speakers out there, there is no limit on the volume to protect against distortion. With these speakers, you dont ever really know where the volume is set until your computer turns on. The remote is almost useless, and what sucks is its the only thing to manually adjust the bass/treble on the set.
Other Thoughts: The sub isnt that powerful, it sounds good on when turned up only halfway; any further and distortion will occur.

Meh
Pros: Sound like they have some good potential. However....
Cons: Right speaker seems to blown. It cracks... a lot. I hooked it all up and started watching a movie. Kids were napping so I wouldn't turn it up, left it default sound level. Notice a cracking noise out of the right speaker right away. I plan on RMA'ing it and hopefully getting a good set to replace these ones.
Other Thoughts: Maybe once I get a good working set I'll come back and let you know.

Flexable, Good sound for price / size
Pros: Hits full audio range nicely, flexable, can set up either as computer speakers, or use it as a basic stereo upgrade for your home video system, perhaps in a bedroom even.
Cons: The three way design, sub, mids, and tweeters do not blend flawlessly, but at $75 its hard to imagine a set that can pack so much dynamic range and be 10% accurate in its crossover adjustments. The sub rumbles, but is not exactly tight and musical, once again for $75 its more than acceptable
Other Thoughts: If you consider the value for the price paid, its a really amazing value. You could spend twice as much and come up short of this system in terms of sound quality and set up flexibility.

Pros: Great Price, Sleek Design, amazing highs and good bass response. Overall has really great sound. Not quite enough mids, but I was able to tune it out pretty well.
Cons: Controls are all managed by the remote, no LED indicators other then power. I'd much prefer a dial for volume.
Other Thoughts: Altec Lansing Quality, I bought these to replace my 8 year old Altec Lansing 2.1 speakers. They still sounded great after all these years. I figured it was time for an upgrade, gave the old ones to a friend who enjoys them just as much as I did.

Pros: Great sound a bass, but keep the volume turned down. Read CONS.
Cons: Terribe HISSING from the speakers when volume turned up and nothing playing. Tried a ground loop isloator but the problem appears to be within the speakers themselves. This was tested with a digital sound card and a USB -> Audio Out DAC.

Wonderful!!
Pros: Fantastic product! As the saying goes you get what you pay for though in this case it would be an understatement. Just all around excellent sound quality which is what Altec Lansing is known for. The front speakers have a small footprint and an attractive design that compliments flat panel LCD monitors.
Cons: Had to write a balanced opinion here...the sub is on the large size nearly as big as my uATX case.
Other Thoughts: For the price you will not find a better product. I will never buy Creative Labs (my most frequently used up until this point) equipment again. Night and day in both overall product and sound quality, these AL's do not look or sound cheap.

decent
Pros: solid construction, responsive yet slim remote, easy installation.
Cons: in addition to the lack of low bass tones, the high, mid, and mid-low frequencies all sound separated. the bass driver started to distort at around 60% volume.
can be fixed to a certain degree with speaker placement.
Other Thoughts: lossless .flac music files ranging from classical to urban hip hop were played through the Auzentech X-Plosion sound card at mid to mid-high volumes during the 2hour test.
the subwoofer is designed to be placed on the floor near walls to help reproduce the lower frequencies.

Not Bad... Not Bad....
Pros: *Sleek Design *Wireless Remote *Powerful Sub woofer *Default button on remote resets everything in case you make bad adjustments. *Fills desire for all the quakes and rumbles you will desire.
Cons: There was only one little blip that prevented me from giving the speakers a 5 rating. Even with the sub woofer turned down all the way, it still seemed a little bit too strong at times (which i guess could be a good thing). Also, If you lose the remote, it will be difficult to adjust your levels for treble and bass.
Other Thoughts: I bought these for a school video editing computer where the loudness of the bass has yet to have a teacher complain. For home entertainment and gaming, these are your speakers; look no further!

AMAZING!
Pros: These speakers are amazing!!
I can't stress enough how crazy these speakers are.
This is my first product from Altec Lansing and i will continue to buy their products (If these things ever die out)
I have had thse for over a year and they still have a crystal clear sound.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: I recommend you buy these speakers if you want something fairly cheap, and Amazing quality!
I bought for about $30 cheaper at Costco..

Amazing speakers/sound
Pros: I've had the older version of these and still love them, bought this item for my studio and they are amazing. Great price, unbelievable sound for the money. The other Altec Lansing speakers I have are the previous version, been running them for 5 years flawlessly, expect the same from these.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: The remote control is useful but very small and could probably be lost easily.

love these speakers
Pros: i got these on sale and i love them. took a little tweeking to adjust the bass and treble, done with the wireless remote that came with the speakers, and any type of music i play sounds great. like the design of the speakers, looks good next to my laptop. good bass, good treble, good all around for the money
Cons: got them on sale, so no cons here. dont have room for anything more than a 2.1
Other Thoughts: was using a 13 dollar pair some speakers before, still 2.1, and i noticed a huge difference. got to play with them at best buy so i knew i was going to be happy with my purchase.

A GREAT SET.....OF SPEAKERS
Pros: Great looks and style and increditble sound, i packed up my 4 in 1 Boston 4800's and have never looked back, now my room is not cluddered up with 25' electrical cords and the sound these babies produce is just about on par with my old 4800's
Cons: remote a little cheesy but hey you cant have everything
Other Thoughts: for great sound and less cludder in your room and on your desktop the speakers cant be beat, and the price is very affordable for what you will be getting

Very Good for the money
Pros: Very good sound. Nice design. Remote is handy but easily misplaced.
Cons: Could use some more controls on the side speaker. For example, surround sound, bass, treble
Other Thoughts: If you are a 30 something and want good sound but you don't want to rock out the entire house, these are a good option.

Pros: I have got a set of four feet tall kliptch horns for my music system and while these Altec Lansings are not in the same ballpark, for such a low price they are pretty impressive.
Cons: None yet.
Other Thoughts: It is important to place the speakers in the proper location. I placed mine up on a shelf that had a grill so that the sound is not blocked on the downward facing speakers. I place the woofer under the desk.

Pros: They sound good at normal volumes, especially if you like bass. The connection cords were longer than I had expected, that was a plus.
Cons: Higher volumes cause clipping and distortion. I was expecting them to be a bit louder before that happened.

Pros: Great sound in a small profile. Very easy to get the music, whatever type, just the way you like it. Works well with both my XPS M1210, and my Macbook. I highly reccommend tha Altec Lansing Brand of speakers.
Cons: None

meh ...
Pros: can get pretty loud, loud enough for a typical bedroom. fairly clear sound in the mid to high ranges, despite other sound problems.
Cons: too much bass, maybe compensating for slightly weak mids. remote is horrible - horrible range, horrible design. the "loud" setting is just too boomy and without it it sounds too quiet. such a hassle to fix with your music player's eq.
Other Thoughts: originally i had the VS4121 model and loved it - it doesnt get as loud as this model, but i think its better balanced and easier to setup, and cheaper.

Nice 2.1 set
Pros: Very clean sound, loud for it's range, good looking speakers. Remote feature is nice even thou I thought it was unnecessary when I ordered them.
Cons: None at this time
Other Thoughts: Only oddity..I got two sets of these, on set has a blue power led, the other has a green one. Not a complaint, just a "hmmm"

Not so great
Pros: This system is nice sounding at low volume. It has good construction. And a nifty wireless remote.
Cons: Any attempt on turning this system up is a bad mistake. You will find turning this system up, you will have to other turn the bass down or turning the loudness off. When turning this system up you find annoying combination of sub woofer and port distortion. I tried making this system sound better with on board sound card eq and sound enhancer and the mids will level out with the treble, But the bass would just sound horrible. The IR remote is great idea. But if you lose it it, you will lose all your controls for sound other then volume and power. The down firing mid is a innovated idea but i believe is the cause of bad mids.
Other Thoughts: I really wouldn't recommend this system to anyone. The price and performance ratio don't equal up.

Pros: Nice design. Easy install. Disappointed with audio volume level.
Cons: I wanted louder speakers after owning cheapo (older) Cambride Soundworks speakers. These provide crisper less distorted audio but do not come close to the decible level of my "old faithfull" Cambridge's

Prepare to Equalize...
Pros: *Little to no distortion *Remote *Fairly tight bass response (and lots of it) *Decent mids and highs *Plenty of volume for normal CPU use *Looks pretty darn snazzy
Cons: *The default settings aren't too great and just using the treble and bass controls on the remote doesn't fix it too much *No software to see volume, treble, or bass levels as you're adjusting them
Other Thoughts: I have onboard Realtek audio so I have an equalizer to adjust sound and it came in very handy with this system to round out the bass and get a bit more crisp highs out of them. The speakers can put out very good sound but they need some equalization that can't be done with just the remote.

Very Nice..
Pros: I really just love these speakers. They are just simply amazing. Got them for Christmas plugged them in and they work phenomenal! Very easy to set up. and look amazing. The bass on it is huge and gives great sound. (I Use Them For Computer)
Cons: Hm....Nothing, this is just a great product.
Other Thoughts: Maybe they could have made the remote just a tad bigger, lol i mean its so small and easy to store.

This is the way to go no ?'s
Pros: I originally ordered the Logitech Z-4's. You will also find a review from me for the Z-4.I had bought Logitech in the past and they sounded good. Maybe it's just this model but no go here. I called new egg and they were able to work with me and I bought these instead. Newegg rocks!! Now on to these speakers! I have an average at best sound card and these sound great! Full sound (you do need to know how to equalize your audio) with itunes and winamp. Plenty loud for 2.1 speakers!! Also used my laptop and Samsung mp3 player as a source and still sounds good. Also has RCA inputs so if you have smaller TV with RCA outs and small tv sound these will take it, or any device that has a RCA out. Point being, not just tied to pc's speakers and amp.
Cons: Like others have said the remote. It's a little small. I have it set up in the workout room and have a bit of 3M Velcro on the back stuck to the wall. I could see losing this. So keep an eye on this!!
Other Thoughts: Newegg has made a solid customer of me!

unhappy
Pros: the wireless remote, styling and past experience with altec lansing speakers were the key factors that played a roll in my purchase
Cons: no midtones. i didn't want to believe the other reviews i read about this product but they all are true. it's either a VERY tinny trebble sound or a crackeling bass. turn these speakers over mid point and you will hear the cheap subwoofer start to knock (in a bad way).
Other Thoughts: i attempted to turn the speakers around to eliminate some of the tinny trebble and achieve a more midton sound, however the wireless remote IR sensor is on the front. I'm returning these speakers to newegg even at a restocking fee loss. these speakers are NOT worth the buy unless style is your only requirement AND sound quality isn't a must.

Ok Speaker But....
Pros: The speaker are very professional looking. The sound on the speaker are great and the subwoofer is very huge and produce good amount of bass which im very happen about. =)
Cons: The bad thing i think about this speaker is that you see it come with a control that has power , volume, treble, and bass. on the speaker they only have the volume button. So that mean if you want to swich the treble and bass and turn on the power your going to have to do it by control. But if you lose the control you won't be able to turn the speaker on. So if your a person that won't lose a small control that easy then it will be a great speaker for you. =)
Other Thoughts: If only they had the button of the power, treble, and bass on the speaker which it will make it the best offerable 2.1 speaker. <3 =)

Good for the price
Pros: Clear crisp sound and powerful subwoofer.
Cons: The decrease volume button on the remote seems to work when it wants but all the other buttons work fine.
Other Thoughts: Good bang for buck.

Yippy
Pros: Much better than they seem. For the price, they are about the best there are. They produce good bass, and have a live sound. They have more than enough power, and are very clear and tight at normal volume.
Cons: I'm not sure if this is an issue with them all, but the metal mesh in front of the sub vibrates a little at certain frequencies. But thats just how metal is. Should have used cloth. This is not a big enough con to make the speakers bad, however.
Other Thoughts: Really worth getting in my opinion. They beat cheap speakers, and are not outrageously priced like the Klipsch... these are Computer speakers after all.

Not too bad
Pros: Lots o' bass, clear tone on the speakers. You can angle them up or down, which I thought was a fantastic feature. They look really snazzy when paired up with a flat screen monitor.
Cons: A little bit dry sounding. The speakers are really focused on the midrange, and there's not a lot you can do in terms of EQ'ing the speakers themselves.
Other Thoughts: Don't lose that remote control. It's your lifeline to do pretty much anything on these speakers. I wish they had some sort of graphical interface to see how loud these things are. There's no way to tell what volume you have them set at.

Altec Lansing VS4221
Pros: Awsome speakers for a small room. I'm still tweaking the bass (it's a little loud for me and the neighbors. The dog just ran down the hallway--and she's deaf!) These babies rock! I don't have the room for surround sound (and I don't want to run speaker cables all over the room, but these speakers are awesome. You won't be disappointed. My second pair of Altec Lansing--and I thought the first pair I bought 3 years ago were great! Great product--Altec keeps getting better and better! I'm hearing notes from my iTunes downloads that I never heard before.
Cons: Don't lose the remote or you won't be able to adjust the bass or treble. However, it comes with a nifty holder that you can mount to the wall or your computer desk...just don't let the dog eat it--it's pretty small!
Other Thoughts: Unless you are really bent on wanting 5.1 surround sound, buy these babies. NewEgg was $60 cheaper than I could get in town. I'm truly blown away...that's why I'm leaving my first product rating. I've spent a few thousand at NewEgg over the last couple years and they are my favorite site...I have NEVER been disappointed!

Very nice!
Pros: Good sound, good bass and treble. Look very sharp. Easy to connect, but so are all other speakers.
Cons: The sub is a little big but i have enough room. If the sub is too close to the PC or wireless/wired DSL modem in my case i can hear some constant cracking noise, even when nothing is playing. So i had to isolate the sub as much aas i could. Remote is pretty cool, but if you have messy desk good luck finding it. That's why i gave 4 eggs.
Other Thoughts: I play games, listen to music, watch movies on the computer and these speakers add to all of these experiences. Of course if you have a good sound card it will really add some quality sound, i'm using onboard sound for now, because i'm upgrading my comp with everything new! newegg is great!

Very Impressed
Pros: Excellent sound for a 2.1 system under one hundred bucks. Looks sleek and sexy. Bass is unbelievable, too bad i don't like rap.
Cons: System is totally dependent on the flimsy wireless remote. If you lose it you can no longer adjust your bass/treble. I'm clueless as to why they didnt put extra controls on the speakers themselves.
Other Thoughts: Definitely worth the money just don't lose the remote.

Excellent Buy!
Pros: These speakers put out a lot of very clean sound, especially for the money. You won't fill a concert hall, but they'll fill the average living room with great sound without a lot of 5.1-channel who-ha. You should consider that the left- and right-channel speakers work best when placed on a hard surface. This is because the down-firing midrange drivers appear to use the table surface as part of a horn.
Cons: The remote IS a bit small, but works just fine.
Other Thoughts: Found these speakers at retailers in the Phoenix area. They were for sale at the MSRP, $27 more than what NewEgg charges.

Best speakers for the price
Pros: All good great highs and great low bass. Looks great with my hp desktop Solid contruction
Cons: Remote is cheap be very carful with it, and very small, put it somewhere you will remember.
Other Thoughts: This system is better than alot that cost way more. I bought it because of good sound and space savings 5.1 was too many wires. This is perfect, except for the cheap remote.

Pros: I thought I was getting the AL model below this one-- boy, was I surprised and happy when these arrived. Great for music, games... anything you want to use a 2.1 hookup for. Love the lil' mini remote control!
Cons: Nada. Great value.

Almost Ear-gasmic
Pros: Well defined highs, good mids, powerful base. Price. Look. Control over bass and tremble.
Cons: Almost total reliance on a kind of cheap remote.
Other Thoughts: If youre on a budget and are looking for good sound at an afordable rate these are the speakers for you. You dont get better sound for this price.

Good speakers, nice features
Pros: Wireless remote, headphone jack, bass/treble adjustment, RCA inputs. Good sound.
I couldn't find any other 2.1 speakers with all those features at the price.
Cons: The wireless remote is really tiny, about as long as a credit card and half as wide. I can easily see myself losing it.
The bass encolsure is quite big (space concerns). Also, by default, it's a bit too loud and overpowers the mid-range, but luckly it can be turned down via the remote.
Other Thoughts: They could be a bit better, but if your looking for a good, reasonably priced 2.1 speaker set, buying these wouldn't be a mistake.

Ignore previous review
Pros: Great sound for the money. Mine has been reliable. Looks great as well. Very stylish with black or silver computer systems. There is no problem with the remote control, and it's easy enough to operate. This system preases those who have "high end" audiophile tastes in gear.
Cons: The previous reviewer did not give the manufacturer a chance to repair the product. You can get a broken unit in any brand. The store should exchange the product if necessary if it breaks very soon after purchase.
Other Thoughts: The term for these type speakers are nearfield monitors. If the bass is too strong, you may be sitting too far from the satellites. Resistive damping in the subwoofer port vent will tighten the bass response. I think this is the value leader at this price point. No way are you likely to get better for less money. If you like loose booming bass, look elsewhere as plenty of other manufacturers offer it. Altec Lansing is famous for GOOD sound, not the sound favored by headbanging idiots.

BUY IT NOW!
Pros: Superior quality and unmatched consistency over time.
Cons: No option for 4+ satelite surround sound.
Other Thoughts: THESE ARE AMAZING! I've had them for a year. The sound quality is perfect and they're louder than you'll need. Sound carries very far as well. If you're worried about the remote, I don't understand why - these speakers aren't meant for great distances so lean forward and turn the da**ed dial! :)

THIS IS AWESOME
Comments: seriously this thing is so awesomely nice. I don't want a 5.1 system because of the wires.. too much wires. I love this 2.1 speaker. The bass is so niceeeeee. I can't even lower it down. It's impossible. I love it. It's FANTASTICCCCCCC. GUARANTEED. the only draw back of newegg is shipping without the input cord that I didn't get and the box was damage and one of my speaker was cut or slashed.. but it's okay. Newegg didn't hesitate to send me the green input cord and I can hear this speaker really well. New egg rocks
