Pros: Great at mid-low volume, provides for an acceptable bass/guitar amp, looks loud and strong, nice highs/mids, I love the subwoofer box, mainly because it doubles as a stool or a table
Cons: despite looks the speakers are WAY too small for the enclosures, Sub distorts easily, annoying blue controller, 8 of those Acoustic Authority logos, but not a con, hisses day and night...never goes away, even louder with headphones, wimpy cables
Other Thoughts: I got my first set from Newegg, but the controller was DOA, so they decided to send me a whole new system instead of a new controller. I then had 1 set sitting in the closet, until that second controller died about a month later. I called CA, and they decided to make me pay for 2 controllers, which now make more hissing that the original ones. Plus, there is a definite volume cap difference between the two. Service was terrible by CA.

Great product with some minor issues.
Pros: Excellent sound quality when paired with a decent sound card. Massive subwoofer, perfect for movies, long cables, easy setup. Great highs and great lows.
Cons: The mid tones are absolutely non-existent. When you turn the subwoofer down all the way, all you hear is 100% treble. Constant faint hiss that will not go away.
Other Thoughts: The center speaker is about 6" high and you cannot remove the stand, so for most people you have to elevate your monitor someway otherwise the speaker blocks your screen. Also, these sounded terrible with my motherboards onboard audio. I upgraded to a cheapo Sound Blaster Audigy SE and they sounded much better.

VERY "plasticy" bass = bad distortion
Pros: I LOVE NEWEGG !! newegg's RMA is easy and fast.
Cons: you cabn hardly even hear the bass at all unless its distorting.i got this set because i had a similiar 2.1 set a cpl yrs ago with what i assumed was the same subwoofer. but its not. this sub is big and heavy, but the bass is poor and distorts very easily even on the lowest volume. the bass enclosure is plastic and it used to be solid wood. maybe thats the reason for the poor bass now.I am very particular about my music/ sound and these just do not measure up to speakers even 1/2 the price of these.im so dissapointed that they( cyber acustics ) changed the watts and sub to lower power and lower quality
Other Thoughts: this is the secons speaker set i got from egg in the past week. fist i got the 2.1 set that was suypposed to have this sub but it came with a 5 1/2 in sub and i rma's for this set. this set is worse than the other set i rma'd. i am going to order the other 2.1 set ( Cyber Acoustics A-3780rb ) and hopefully ill recieve a quality product this time. this set is not nearly as good as it looks and the bass is so bad compared to the big big sub size. unless you just want a cheap 5.1 set up i would go with a diff set, thse totally let me down. the sub is no where near as good as the previous version with more watts and a wood case. this plastic isj ust plain bad.

WEIRD BUT GOOD!
Pros: good
Cons: before i bought this it was 140watts and its also says 140watts on the box but now its 54 watts, i dont know why but thats the reason i choose this 79 bucks for 140 watts, but now i coulda get a logitech for same price and quality but louder like 70watts than 54 :(
Other Thoughts: but anyways these speakers are excellent

Nice Speakers
Pros: Pretty solid speakers. Good value for the price for a 5.1 set. Provide plenty of power for home/computer use. Good quality too.
Cons: Only came with three wall mounts (should have came with 5). Sometimes it's a bit finicky, if you turn it off and on again with the remote, the sound might not come back on and you'll have to unplug/replug the power cord.
Other Thoughts: The instructions actually made sense :O (not that I needed them, but hey, that's a rarity no?) Oh, and I'd buy them again given the choice.

Absolutely excellent
Pros: I've had them for more than a year, and I routinely have them playing LOUD. They really are perfect. I bought a smaller Cyber Acoustics set for the second PC and they sound good too, but not nearly as loud. Buy 'em, it's the best 80 bucks you'll spend this year.
Cons: Absolutely none.
Other Thoughts: Have fun with em. I crank mine up just to see how long it take to set the wife off - generally, 10 minutes or less - loads of laughs

Great price
Pros: The price is right, the sound quality is what I was expecting, great set of speakers for a bedroom media center.
Cons: These aren't the loudest speakers I've heard but what do you expect for 140Watts? They also take up a lot of room and have lots of wires, so prepare yourself for that.

I would buy them again
Pros: For the price these speakers rock. I can annoy my next door neighbors with them. Good sound, love having the controls on a separate unit with a headphone plug in.
Cons: There of course is always a down side, about the only one I can find is the controller looks way to much like a mouse. Many people have grabbed the controller and not the mouse.
Other Thoughts: Newegg ROCKS.

Whats not to like?
Pros: Easy install, easy to use, nice job on the remote.
Cons: Should have come with 5 wall mounts not just 3.
Other Thoughts: If you get distortion most likely the speakers are not plugged into the proper ports, or your sound card is not set porperly (Control panel/audio/speakers/advanced/5.1) or your sound card dosn't support 5.1. If you don't have an orange receptical on the back of your sound card and plug it into a yellow port. you will get distortion. No orange port = no 5.1. leave it unplugged and set the speaker setting to quadrophonic instead of 5.1. Upgrade you sound card for $27 the Creativ Sound Blaster Audigy 5.1 or 7.1 will work nicely and not hurt your wallet.

Pros: Good volume for the price, and easy to connect.
Cons: Bass has to be turned down the louder it gets to avoid distortion.

Not as Good as I expected
Pros: Great price for 5.1 surround sound, comes with 3 wall mounts probably for the center and 2 rear speakers.
Cons: Weak bass for it's size, treble is gritty and the mids are ok... don't expect good sounding music or movies out of these speakers becuase they sound tinny. War games will sound alright, such as BF2142.
Other Thoughts: I bought the 2.1 cyber acoustic speakers for a little bit more money then these are worth and the 2.1 sound system puts these 5.1 to shame. The 2.1 sounds amazing, but the 5.1 uses 40watts less of power and it has to power 5 speakers and a subwoofer... bottom line, the 5.1 are speakers for the gamer on a tight budget, but i would recomend to only use the 2.1 system, it raWks!

OK
Pros: Well it is affordable and the sound isnt bad at low to mid voulume. Has decent looks.
Cons: Major distortion from sub at high voulume. Just cant handle the bass It has a more tight bass response than most subs I have had before, kinda muddy.
Other Thoughts: I wish I would have saved a little more and went with some logy's or creative.

5.1 surround...cheap !!??!!
Pros: for $xx.xx plus shipping...great value . ALL cords supplied are long and of decent quality , sounds very good in my smaller comp room and will get loud enough to rattle windows .
Cons: I love bass...and I listen to some very aggressive music...my main stereo has 2-250 watt 12"subs...this is not thunderous , wonderfully tight bass.It is a comprimise for a small computer room and small pocketbook.(great for that purpose)
Other Thoughts: how does newegg ship so FAST !!! order screen still showed step 3(preparing to ship)@5:30am on day 2 of order...2:00pm that day on my doorstep

Excellent
Pros: Nice long cords. Clear sound. Works on 2.1 and 5.1 systems Nice blue lights:)
Cons: Wish control head had jack for mic too Volume control is very non-linear, big jumps and gaps in volume
Other Thoughts: Why do center speakers have stands? Should be low with high-friction surface on bottom for mounting above/below monitor.

Sounds beyond it's price
Pros: Nice clear sound. Easy to setup. Shiney blue controller:) Cables of adequate length for rear speakers. CA seems to offer much better fidelity the equivalent sets from other manufacturers.
Cons: Not really a con, but bass does not seem as clear or well matched to satellite speakers as 8" 2.1 setup I own.
Other Thoughts: Wish there was a mic input on controller (there is a headphone output).

You get what you pay for
Pros: Great price for the features you get, Decent sound, Nice instructions to get you started for multiple applications such as for use with gaming console hookup, standalone cd players and other music sources and even hookup for 2.1 audio sources. Color coded connectors for easy setup, plenty of wire for long stretches from the sub. You can put the thing halfway across the room and still have enough wire. Headphone jack on the control box! Very handy! No need for the audio jack on the front of the pc, and it has better functionality with the volume control!
Cons: The usual complaint about the fader switch applies here, but that is easily fixed. I wish there were five wall mounts for this to free up the space on my desk and for better speaker placement. The bass is kind of weak for the size of the speaker, and it has a bit of an tinny sound to it. Not very tight bass which is what I prefer. I wish there was seperate bass and treble controls on the control box, but again, you get what you pay for.
Other Thoughts: Not five eggs because of the weak and tinny bass, which is my main concern. The fader switch problem is easy to fix: To figure out where the middle of the fader is, you have to rely on your ears and not where the middle of the switch is! I popped in a 5.1 DVD and went into the THX optimizer and ran the audio test from there. I matched the audio level coming from the back speakers to the audio level coming from the front ones and cut a tiny notch in the fader switch (so I can feel it in dim lighting).

Sweet
Pros: The sub delivers the very best bass you would expect and it looks awsome. thr glowing remote helps me see it in the dark. The connecter cables are gold plated for best conductivity on my x fi creative card 3d sound is amazing on these two I was playing counter strike sourc on these as a test game and threw my glock behind me and turned the opposite dirretion and I could hear it bounce much the same as you can hear foot steps from behind these are great speakers for the price
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: if your gonna get these for 3d sound you should also get a x fi card because the sound wave mannager and 24 bit crystilizer boost your sound like no other to get the most bang for you buck

Speakers
Pros: Great sound, blew my wife's Cxxxtive 5.1's out of the water. Lots of power. Super clear. Easy setup, all cables are color coded. Comes with wall mounts to mount the center and rear speakers. Haven't played games, but music is great thru them. For this price, this is on heck of a speaker system. Can't wait to get my Creative Fata1ty sound card next week!
Cons: Fader wheel has no way to tell when you are at the midway point. Easy to accomplish with some nail polish.
Other Thoughts: If you don't want to spend an arm and leg for a set of speakers, this is the set for you. Easy to setup. Everything you need is in the box.

Awsome Speakers!!
Pros: Deep base when YOU want it. Very Minimal distortion.Great all types of music and gaming. These speakers also provide enough wire so you can pretty much put them where you want.
Cons: My only *Con* is with the controller. The fader wheel does not have a middle stop point which will tell you when they're right/left balanced.
Other Thoughts: I purchased these from NewEgg. The satellites are bigger and heavier than I thought which is nice! Also, when cranked, the satellites have anti-sliding rubber feet so they dont move off your desk. Also, if you plug these in, and hear whistling, update your sound drivers(it's not the speakers).

Speaker Review
Pros: These speakers when owned are pretty powerfull. They get loud, with quality sound while louder. But I have yet to crank the sound. I have had this for the longest time, kudo's its still used, and i got it uesed off a friend.
Cons: The controller broke, and i cant seem to find a replacement. Weither their is, i just must be lazy. ( the controller is a good design, but after fondling with it for... 3-10 times aday, for 9 months - 18 months ) it broke.
Other Thoughts: Subwoofer isnt garbage, but i wanted to put better sub in, sounds good, and the speaker set has glowing lights, and so does the subwoofer. *mod*
