Pros: looks nice, probably works for light use for full sheet scanning

Cons: if you get the NeatScan to Office version the software is VERY limited in what it can do. You cannot change the DPI so it seems to be using a lower DPI than it can and therefore making a lot of mistakes with buisness cards.

You cannot batch scan for example, so business cards are so slow it would be faster to hand type.

Other Thoughts: I have not used the NeatWorks software, but without it this device seems like a shiny paperweight or a nice self defense weapon.

My skew is I want to quickly scan a pile of business cards as my main use. If you want a small mobile scanner to only scan a few things at a time it probably does the job

Pros: Time saver, great customer support, great pricing, friendly customer service. Export to PDF is great.

Cons: Slow scan time.

Other Thoughts: Overall, this is one of the best peripherals I have ever purchased! It's already helped me submit several expense reports that were approved faster than ever.
PS-lay off about the Vista 64bit. They are (according to website) releasing a Vista version FREE of charge very soon. I am sure a 64 bit version will come out when the company thinks its right-but all of you 64 bit users need to realize you are a SMALL portion of the market. Get over it!

Pros: works with windows xp 32 bit.

Cons: Doesn't work with windows vista.
Manufacturer WON'T support 64 bit version of vista (this direct from manufacturer support forum).
Manufacturer WON'T support 64 bit version of Windows XP (Same story as above).
wont support vista or mac right now. It might be many months before it gets support if ever.

Other Thoughts: This would possibly be a great product. There is an online petition going on to get the company to changes its policy and support 64 bit pc's. Please google it or goto the petetion online site and search neat receipts.

Pros: Great product for organizing and recording your receipts. It invaluable if you have a small business. The program copies the receipt and records the information on the receipt into data files (columms) in addition you can add columns and put in your own information. The best part is that you can retrieve the information in many ways. Such as cronologically, by vendor, by client, etc. In addition you can print out copies of the receipt that match the data you retrieved.

Cons: Feeding the receipt into the scanner is a little arkward. It would be better if there was a little tray in front so you can easily slide the receipt into the scanner.

Pros: After reading a review of this product in Maximum PC magazine I had to give it a try. I have receipts lying all around and the opportunity to not only get rid of the paper but be able to organize and sort them was too much to pass up. The scanner is a pretty basic scanner. The small size and wall mount are very useful. The fact that it's powered by the USB helps with cord maanagement. The software is incredibly neat. It has a database of receipts that it references when it scans and inserts the correct data. If it doesn't recognize the receipt it will still put in the amount and whatever data "figure out". The neat this is if you have a receipt it doesn't recognize you can type in the name, then next time you put in the receipt it will recognize it and insert the correct name. It even goes so far as organizing receipts by tax form. Very slick product. (and it also does regular scanning to PDF, etc)

Cons: can be tricky to get it to take a wadded up receipt. (but that's expected) Might be a little overpriced, but it's still worth it! Doesn't recognize hand written "tips" on meal receipts.
