Rating + 5 Casio are better!!!

Pros: I am a Math Teacher and I prefer Casio to TI Calculators. The Casio has a better menu set-up and more options ( there is a function that converts fractions to decimal and vice-versa). To bad more school do not use Casio more in classrooms.

Cons: None

Rating + 4 Solid but Steep Learning Curve

Pros: I love this calculator and it's very versatile. The touch screen and stylus are nothing short of AWESOME. It has a very durable hard case. It has a great menu, and lots of really nice tools for scientists and engineers.

Cons: Very steep learning curve. It's not at all like TI calculators, but then neither are HPs. It will take a lot of time to learn all the functions. The syntax for some operations are a bit ambiguous and impossible to guess.

Other Thoughts: Overall a wonderful calculator, and honestly, the touch screen is so powerful and useful that I'm certain I would buy it again. At least until TI comes out with a nice touch screen themselves, and only because it's familiar. Casio still makes a really solid calculator, they just need a little work on user-friendliness.

Rating + 5 Best calculator ever

Pros: there are so many reasons to get this calculator instead of any TI. Bigger screen, more advanced processor than most calcs, much easier to navigate operating system, plus all of the features it includes. They are all much easier to access in the Classpad. I installed many games for when I'm bored. lastly the battery life is pretty much the same as TI calcs.

Cons: Sometimes figuring out what I need to enter for some of the more advanced functions is hard.

Oh and one of the rubber things in the face cover fell out a few months ago.

Other Thoughts: I have had this calculator for 3 years now and still love it.
