Best Scientific Calculator out there!
Pros: Intergration: great feature on a scientific calculator. Unimportant if you are out of school, but if your professor only allows scientific calculators and you use calculus, this device is a must!
Constants: It has 40 pre programmed as well as conversions. Very nice for any scientific application.
Complex numbers: can do complex notations and what not. Great for beginnig electrical engineering classes.
Display: great two line display that shows equations as they are written on paper. none of this ((x^2x-6)/(5))*(sqrt(6) junk.
ALLOWED on the FE!!!
Cons: Being a TI man myself it took a while to become accustomed to the layout of the keys.
I hate that the variable key is a secondary key(though they do make i a primary key so even trade).
Other Thoughts: If your still in school and are in a mathematics or science oriented field, I would highly recommend this calculator.
It's a scientific calc so if your professor allows scientific calcs this ones good. Also, its the best calc allowed for the FE (for all you engineering majors).
I'm still in school myself so I dont know how useful this calc would be to someone in a job field. I'd imagine there are better graphing calculators like the Voyage 200 XD. Still, great bang for your buck!

Best bang for the $
Pros: 1)Inexpensive, yet has most of the built-in math functions needed 2)Easy to enter, and correct, numerical data 3)Solar powered - no panic when exam time arrives and batteries are suspect.
Cons: Not many. It's ability to integrate and differentiate is more limited than the TI-8X series - but I have better tools for that purpose. It has no real graphing capabilities, as compared to the TI-8X series calculators.
Other Thoughts: I teach undergrad. engineering courses (mechanical), an this calculator is easy to use up at the board when demonstrating problem solving methods.

Nice and cheap
Comments: Far by the best I have ever used when it comes to scientific calculators. This calculator is better than the Texas Instrument. The peice is the best, sure there is $20 calculators but this is better. Anything higher than this is a graphing calculator
